02-EXODUS
02-24:12 And the LORD
said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give
thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
02-31:18 And he
gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount
Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written
with the finger of God.
02-32:15 And Moses
turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were
in his hand: the tables were written
on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.
02-32:32 Yet now,
if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy
book which thou hast written.
04-11:26 But there
remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad,
and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were
of them that were written, but went not out
unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.
05-9:10 And the
LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written
with the finger of God; and on them was written
according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out
of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.
05-28:58 If thou
wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this
glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;
05-28:61 Also every
sickness, and every plague, which is not written
in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be
destroyed.
05-29:20 The LORD
will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke
against that man, and all the curses that are written
in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from
under heaven.
05-29:21 And the
LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to
all the curses of the covenant that are written
in this book of the law:
05-29:27 And the
anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the
curses that are written in this book:
05-30:10 If thou
shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and
his statutes which are written in this book of
the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart,
and with all thy soul.
06-1:8 This
book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate
therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way
prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
06-8:31 As Moses
the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of
whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any iron: and they offered
thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD, and sacrificed peace offerings.
06-8:34 And
afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessings and cursings,
according to all that is written in the book of
the law.
06-10:13 And the
sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves
upon their enemies. Is not this written
in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and
hasted not to go down about a whole day.
06-23:6 Be ye
therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside
therefrom to the right hand or to the left;
10-1:18 (Also he
bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it
is written in the book of Jasher.)
11-2:3 And keep
the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and
his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper
in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
11-11:41 And the
rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they
not written in the book of the acts of Solomon?
11-14:19 And the
rest of the acts of Jeroboam, how he warred, and how he reigned, behold, they are
written in the book of the chronicles of the
kings of Israel.
11-14:29 Now the
rest of the acts of Rehoboam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Judah?
11-15:7 Now the
rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Judah? And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.
11-15:23 The rest
of all the acts of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the cities
which he built, are they not written in
the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? Nevertheless in the time of
his old age he was diseased in his feet.

rest of the acts of Nadab, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Israel?

Israel?

rest of the acts of Zimri, and his treason that he wrought, are they not
written in the book of the chronicles of the
kings of Israel?
11-16:27 Now the
rest of the acts of Omri which he did, and his might that he shewed, are they
not written in the book of the chronicles of the
kings of Israel?

of his city, even the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in
his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them, and as it was written in the letters which she had sent unto them.
11-22:39 Now the
rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that he did, and the ivory house which he
made, and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of

Judah?
12-10:34 Now the
rest of the acts of Jehu, and all that he did, and all his might, are they
not written in the book of the chronicles of the
kings of Israel?

rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Judah?
12-13:8 Now the
rest of the acts of Jehoahaz, and all that he did, and his might, are they
not written in the book of the chronicles of the
kings of Israel?
12-13:12 And the
rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, and his might wherewith he
fought against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Israel?
12-14:6 But the
children of the murderers he slew not: according unto that which is written in the book of the law of Moses, wherein the
LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the children,
nor the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to
death for his own sin.
12-14:15 Now the
rest of the acts of Jehoash which he did, and his might, and how he fought with
Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written
in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
12-14:18 And the
rest of the acts of Amaziah, are they not written
in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
12-14:28 Now the
rest of the acts of Jeroboam, and all that he did, and his might, how he
warred, and how he recovered Damascus, and Hamath, which belonged to
Judah, for Israel, are they not written in the
book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
12-15:6 And the
rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Judah?
12-15:11 And the
rest of the acts of Zachariah, behold, they are written
in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are
written in the book of the chronicles of the
kings of Israel.
12-15:21 And the
rest of the acts of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Israel?

Israel.

Judah?
12-16:19 Now the
rest of the acts of Ahaz which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Judah?
12-20:20 And the
rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a
conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Judah?
12-21:17 Now the rest
of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are
they not written in the book of the
chronicles of the kings of Judah?
12-21:25 Now the
rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Judah?
12-22:13 Go ye,
enquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning
the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD
that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the
words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.
12-23:3 And the
king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the
LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with
all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this
covenant that were written in this book. And all
the people stood to the covenant.
12-23:21 And the
king commanded all the people, saying, Keep the passover unto the LORD your
God, as it is written in the book of this
covenant.
12-23:24 Moreover
the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and
the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in
Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law
which were written in the book that Hilkiah the
priest found in the house of the LORD.
12-23:28 Now the
rest of the acts of Josiah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Judah?
12-24:5 Now the
rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Judah?
13-4:41 And these
written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king
of Judah, and smote their tents, and the habitations that were found there, and
destroyed them utterly unto this day, and dwelt in their rooms: because there
was pasture there for their flocks.
13-9:1 So all
Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they were written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah, who
were carried away to Babylon for their transgression.
13-16:40 To offer
burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually
morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded
Israel;
13-29:29 Now the
acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the
book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,
14-9:29 Now the
rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the
prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against
Jeroboam the son of Nebat?
14-12:15 Now the
acts of Rehoboam, first and last, are they not written
in the book of Shemaiah the prophet, and of Iddo the seer concerning
genealogies? And there were wars between Rehoboam and Jeroboam
continually.
14-13:22 And the rest
of the acts of Abijah, and his ways, and his sayings, are written in the story of the prophet Iddo.
14-16:11 And,
behold, the acts of Asa, first and last, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
14-20:34 Now the rest
of the acts of Jehoshaphat, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Jehu the son of Hanani, who is
mentioned in the book of the kings of Israel.
14-23:18 Also
Jehoiada appointed the offices of the house of the LORD by the hand of the priests
the Levites, whom David had distributed in the house of the LORD, to offer the
burnt offerings of the LORD, as it is written
in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as it was ordained by
David.
14-24:27 Now concerning
his sons, and the greatness of the burdens laid upon him, and the
repairing of the house of God, behold, they are written
in the story of the book of the kings. And Amaziah his son reigned in his
stead.
14-25:4 But he
slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD commanded,
saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children
die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own sin.
14-25:26 Now the
rest of the acts of Amaziah, first and last, behold, are they not written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel?
14-27:7 Now the
rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
14-28:26 Now the
rest of his acts and of all his ways, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
14-30:5 So they
established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba
even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the LORD God of
Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such
sort as it was written.
14-30:18 For a
multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and
Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise
than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for
them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one
14-31:3 He
appointed also the king’s portion of his substance for the burnt offerings,
to wit, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt
offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it
is written in the law of the LORD.
14-32:32 Now the
rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his goodness, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son
of Amoz, and in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
14-33:18 Now the
rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the
seers that spake to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are
written in the book of the kings of Israel.
14-33:19 His prayer
also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sins, and his
trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and
graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.
14-34:21 Go,
enquire of the LORD for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah,
concerning the words of the book that is found: for great is the wrath
of the LORD that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the
word of the LORD, to do after all that is written
in this book.
14-34:24 Thus saith
the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants
thereof, even all the curses that are written
in the book which they have read before the king of Judah:
14-34:31 And the
king stood in his place, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the
LORD, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with
all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant
which are written in this book.
14-35:12 And they
removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according to the divisions of
the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with
the oxen.
14-35:25 And
Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing women
spake of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them an ordinance
in Israel: and, behold, they are written
in the lamentations.
14-35:26 Now the
rest of the acts of Josiah, and his goodness, according to that which was written in the law of the LORD,
14-35:27 And his
deeds, first and last, behold, they are written
in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
14-36:8 Now the
rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that
which was found in him, behold, they are written
in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in
his stead.
15-3:2 Then
stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and
Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the
God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.
15-3:4 They
kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written,
and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the
custom, as the duty of every day required;
15-4:7 And in
the days of Artaxerxes wrote Bishlam, Mithredath, Tabeel, and the rest of their
companions, unto Artaxerxes king of Persia; and the writing of the letter was
written in the Syrian tongue, and
interpreted in the Syrian tongue.
15-5:7 They
sent a letter unto him, wherein was written
thus; Unto Darius the king, all peace.
15-6:2 And
there was found at Achmetha, in the palace that is in the province of
the Medes, a roll, and therein was a record thus written:
15-6:18 And they
set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the
service of God, which is at Jerusalem; as it is written
in the book of Moses.
15-8:34 By number
and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.
16-6:6 Wherein was
written, It is reported among the heathen,
and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which
cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to
these words.
16-7:5 And my
God put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the
people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the
genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein,
16-8:14 And they found
written in the law which the LORD had commanded
by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of
the seventh month:
16-8:15 And that
they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying,
Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and
myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make
booths, as it is written.
16-10:34 And we
cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood
offering, to bring it into the house of our God, after the houses of our
fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD
our God, as it is written in the law:
16-10:36 Also the
firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds
and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that
minister in the house of our God:
16-12:23 The sons
of Levi, the chief of the fathers, were written
in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of
Eliashib.
16-13:1 On that
day they read in the book of Moses in the audience of the people; and therein
was found written, that the Ammonite and the Moabite
should not come into the congregation of God for ever;
17-1:19 If it
please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes,
that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let
the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.
17-2:23 And when
inquisition was made of the matter, it was found out; therefore they were both
hanged on a tree: and it was written in the book
of the chronicles before the king.
17-3:9 If it
please the king, let it be written that they may
be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of
those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king’s
treasuries.
17-3:12 Then were
the king’s scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and there
was written according to all that Haman had
commanded unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors that were over
every province, and to the rulers of every people of every province according
to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the
name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and
sealed with the king’s ring.
17-6:2 And it
was found written, that Mordecai had told of
Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door,
who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.
17-8:5 And
said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the
thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes,
let it be written to reverse the letters devised
by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews
which are in all the king’s provinces:
17-8:8 Write ye
also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king’s name, and seal it with
the king’s ring: for the writing which is written
in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, may no man reverse.
17-8:9 Then
were the king’s scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the
month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto
the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces
which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven
provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every
people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and
according to their language.
17-9:23 And the
Jews undertook to do as they had begun, and as Mordecai had written unto them;
17-9:32 And the
decree of Esther confirmed these matters of Purim; and it was written in the book.
17-10:2 And all
the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of
Mordecai, whereunto the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Media and Persia?
18-19:23 Oh that my
words were now written! oh that they were
printed in a book!
18-31:35 Oh that
one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer
me, and that mine adversary had written a
book.
19-40:7 Then said
I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written
of me,
19-69:28 Let them
be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written
with the righteous.
19-102:18 This shall
be written for the generation to come: and the
people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
19-139:16 Thine eyes
did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were
written, which in continuance were
fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
19-149:9 To execute
upon them the judgment written: this honour have
all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.
20-22:20 Have not I
written to thee excellent things in counsels and
knowledge,
21-12:10 The
preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of
truth.
23-4:3 And it
shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth
in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
23-65:6 Behold, it
is written before me: I will not keep
silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,
24-17:1 The sin
of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and
with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the table of their
heart, and upon the horns of your altars;
24-17:13 O LORD,
the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they
that depart from me shall be written in the
earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.
24-25:13 And I will
bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all
that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath
prophesied against all the nations.
24-36:6 Therefore
go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written
from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD’S
house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all
Judah that come out of their cities.
24-36:29 And thou
shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned
this roll, saying, Why hast thou written
therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this
land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?
24-45:1 The word
that Jeremiah the prophet spake unto Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the mouth of
Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah,
saying,
24-51:60 So
Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all
these words that are written against Babylon.
26-2:10 And he
spread it before me; and it was written
within and without: and there was written
therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
26-13:9 And mine
hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they
shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither
shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the
Lord GOD.
27-5:24 Then was
the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written.
27-5:25 And this is
the writing that was written, MENE, MENE,
TEKEL, UPHARSIN.
27-9:11 Yea, all
Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey
thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God,
because we have sinned against him.
27-9:13 As it
is written in the law of Moses, all this
evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that
we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
27-12:1 And at
that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the
children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was
since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy
people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
28-8:12 I have written to him the great things of my law, but they
were counted as a strange thing.
39-3:16 Then they
that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and
heard it, and a book of remembrance was written
before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
40-2:5 And they
said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written
by the prophet,
40-4:4 But he answered
and said, It is written, Man shall not live by
bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
40-4:6 And
saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning
thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou
dash thy foot against a stone.
40-4:7 Jesus
said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt
not tempt the Lord thy God.
40-4:10 Then
saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written,
Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
40-11:10 For this
is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I
send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
40-21:13 And said
unto them, It is written, My house shall be
called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
40-26:24 The Son of
man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto
that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if
he had not been born.
40-26:31 Then saith
Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of
the flock shall be scattered abroad.
40-27:37 And set up
over his head his accusation written, THIS IS
JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
41-1:2 As it is
written in the prophets, Behold, I send my
messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
41-7:6 He answered
and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips,
but their heart is far from me.
41-9:12 And he
answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things;
and how it is written of the Son of man, that he
must suffer many things, and be set at nought.
41-9:13 But I say
unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever
they listed, as it is written of him.
41-11:17 And he
taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My
house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a
den of thieves.
41-14:21 The Son of
man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but
woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man
if he had never been born.
41-14:27 And Jesus
saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep
shall be scattered.
41-15:26 And the
superscription of his accusation was written
over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
42-2:23 (As it is
written in the law of the Lord, Every male that
openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;)
42-3:4 As it is
written in the book of the words of Esaias the
prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way
of the Lord, make his paths straight.
42-4:4 And
Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That
man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
42-4:8 And Jesus
answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him
only shalt thou serve.
42-4:10 For it is
written, He shall give his angels charge over
thee, to keep thee:
42-4:17 And there
was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened
the book, he found the place where it was written,
42-7:27 This is he,
of whom it is written, Behold, I send my
messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
42-10:20 Notwithstanding
in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice,
because your names are written in heaven.
42-10:26 He said
unto him, What is written in the law? how
readest thou?
42-18:31 Then he
took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to
Jerusalem, and all things that are written by
the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
42-19:46 Saying
unto them, It is written, My house is the house
of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
42-20:17 And he
beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written,
The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the
corner?
42-21:22 For these
be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written
may be fulfilled.
42-22:37 For I say
unto you, that this that is written must yet be
accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things
concerning me have an end.
42-23:38 And a
superscription also was written over him in letters
of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
42-24:44 And he
said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was
yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the
prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
42-24:46 And said
unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it
behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
43-2:17 And his
disciples remembered that it was written, The
zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
43-6:31 Our
fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written,
He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
43-6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught
of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father,
cometh unto me.
43-8:17 It is
also written in your law, that the testimony of
two men is true.
43-10:34 Jesus
answered them, Is it not written in your law, I
said, Ye are gods?
43-12:14 And Jesus,
when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
43-12:16 These
things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified,
then remembered they that these things were written
of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
43-15:25 But this
cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
43-19:20 This title
then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to
the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek,
and Latin.
43-19:22 Pilate
answered, What I have written I have written.
43-20:30 And many
other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
43-20:31 But these
are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is
the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his
name.
43-21:25 And there
are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world
itself could not contain the books that should be written.
Amen.
44-1:20 For it is
written in the book of Psalms, Let his
habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let
another take.
44-7:42 Then God
turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of
Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty
years in the wilderness?
44-13:29 And when
they had fulfilled all that was written of him,
they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.
44-13:33 God hath
fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus
again; as it is also written in the second
psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
44-15:15 And to
this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
44-21:25 As
touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written
and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep
themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from
strangled, and from fornication.
44-23:5 Then said
Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy
people.
44-24:14 But this I
confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the
God of my fathers, believing all things which are written
in the law and in the prophets:
45-1:17 For
therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
45-2:15 Which
shew the work of the law written in their
hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the
mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
45-2:24 For the
name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
45-3:4 God
forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy
sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
45-3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
45-4:17 (As it is
written, I have made thee a father of many
nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the
dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
45-4:23 Now it
was not written for his sake alone, that it was
imputed to him;
45-8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long;
we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
45-9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
45-9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and
rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
45-10:15 And how
shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written,
How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring
glad tidings of good things!
45-11:8 (According
as it is written, God hath given them the spirit
of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;)
unto this day.
45-11:26 And so all
Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There
shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from
Jacob:
45-12:19 Dearly
beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it
is written, Vengeance is mine; I will
repay, saith the Lord.
45-14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee
shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
45-15:3 For even
Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written,
The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
45-15:4 For
whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and
comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
45-15:9 And that
the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among
the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
45-15:15 Nevertheless,
brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you
in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me
of God,
45-15:21 But as it
is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they
shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.
46-1:19 For it is
written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
46-1:31 That,
according as it is written, He that glorieth,
let him glory in the Lord.
46-2:9 But as
it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,
neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love him.
46-3:19 For the
wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
46-4:6 And these
things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos
for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that
which is written, that no one of you be puffed
up for one against another.
46-5:11 But now I
have written unto you not to keep company, if
any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater,
or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
46-9:9 For it
is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not
muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for
oxen?
46-9:10 Or saith
he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and
that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
46-9:15 But I
have used none of these things: neither have I written
these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for
me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void.
46-10:7 Neither
be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written,
The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
46-10:11 Now all
these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the
world are come.
46-14:21 In the law
it is written, With men of other tongues
and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they
not hear me, saith the Lord.
46-15:45 And so it
is written, The first man Adam was made a living
soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46-15:54 So when
this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put
on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
47-3:2 Ye are
our epistle written in our hearts, known and
read of all men:
47-3:3 Forasmuch
as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us,
written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the
living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
47-3:7 But if
the ministration of death, written and engraven
in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly
behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was
to be done away:
47-4:13 We having
the same spirit of faith, according as it is written,
I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
47-8:15 As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing
over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.
47-9:9 (As it
is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath
given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
48-3:10 For as
many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth
not in all things which are written in the book
of the law to do them.
48-3:13 Christ
hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it
is written, Cursed is every one that
hangeth on a tree:
48-4:22 For it is
written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a
bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
48-4:27 For it is
written, Rejoice, thou barren that
bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate
hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
48-6:11 Ye see
how large a letter I have written unto you with
mine own hand.
57-1:19 I Paul
have written it with mine own hand, I
will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even
thine own self besides.
58-10:7 Then said
I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written
of me,) to do thy will, O God.
58-12:23 To the
general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits
of just men made perfect,
58-13:22 And I
beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
60-1:16 Because
it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
60-5:12 By Silvanus,
a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written
briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein
ye stand.
61-3:15 And
account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as
our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
62-2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that
is from the beginning. I have written unto
you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and
ye have overcome the wicked one.
62-2:21 I have
not written unto you because ye know not the
truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
62-2:26 These things
have I written unto you concerning them that
seduce you.
62-5:13 These
things have I written unto you that believe on
the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and
that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
66-1:3 Blessed is he that readeth,
and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
66-2:17 He that hath an ear,
let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh
will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in
the stone a new name written, which no man
knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
66-5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him
that sat on the throne a book written within and
on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
66-13:8 And all that dwell
upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written
in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
66-14:1 And I looked, and, lo,
a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four
thousand, having his Father’s name written in
their foreheads.
66-17:5 And upon her forehead was
a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE
MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
66-17:8 The beast that thou
sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into
perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the
world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
66-19:12 His eyes were
as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a
name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
66-19:16 And he
hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written,
KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
66-20:12 And I saw
the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and
another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were
judged out of those things which were written in
the books, according to their works.
66-20:15 And
whosoever was not found written in the book of
life was cast into the lake of fire.
66-21:12 And had a
wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve
angels, and names written thereon, which are the
names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
66-21:27 And there
shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh
abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
66-22:18 For I
testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If
any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that
are written in this book:
66-22:19 And if any
man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take
away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the
things which are written in this book.
