W,389 word
01-15:1 After
these things the word of the LORD came unto
Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy
exceeding great reward.
01-15:4 And,
behold, the word of the LORD came unto
him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of
thine own bowels shall be thine heir.
01-30:34 And Laban
said, Behold, I would it might be according to thy word.
01-37:14 And he
said to him, Go, I pray thee, see whether it be well with thy brethren, and
well with the flocks; and bring me word again.
So he sent him out of the vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.
01-41:40 Thou shalt
be over my house, and according unto thy word
shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.
01-44:2 And put
my cup, the silver cup, in the sack’s mouth of the youngest, and his corn
money. And he did according to the word that
Joseph had spoken.
01-44:18 Then Judah
came near unto him, and said, Oh my lord, let thy servant, I pray thee, speak a
word in my lord’s ears, and let not thine anger burn
against thy servant: for thou art even as Pharaoh.
02-8:10 And he
said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none
like unto the LORD our God.
02-8:13 And the
LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the
frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.
02-8:31 And the
LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he
removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from
his people; there remained not one.
02-9:20 He that
feared the word of the LORD among the servants
of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:
02-9:21 And he
that regarded not the word of the LORD left his
servants and his cattle in the field.
02-12:35 And the
children of Israel did according to the word of
Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold,
and raiment:
02-14:12 Is not
this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt,
saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better
for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.
02-32:28 And the
children of Levi did according to the word of
Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
03-10:7 And ye
shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye
die: for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you. And they did
according to the word of Moses.
04-3:16 And Moses
numbered them according to the word of the LORD,
as he was commanded.
04-3:51 And Moses
gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his sons, according
to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded
Moses.
04-4:45 These be
those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses
and Aaron numbered according to the word of the
LORD by the hand of Moses.
04-11:23 And the
LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD’S hand waxed short? thou shalt see now
whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or
not.
04-13:26 And they
went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the
children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed
them the fruit of the land.
04-14:20 And the
LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word:
04-15:31 Because he
hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath
broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall
be upon him.
04-20:24 Aaron
shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I
have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.
04-22:8 And he
said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as the LORD shall speak unto me: and the
princes of Moab abode with Balaam.
04-22:18 And Balaam
answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house
full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word
of the LORD my God, to do less or more.
04-22:20 And God
came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee,
rise up, and go with them; but yet the word
which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.
04-22:35 And the
angel of the LORD said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt
speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.
04-22:38 And Balaam
said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee: have I now any power at all to say
any thing? the word that God putteth in my
mouth, that shall I speak.
04-23:5 And the
LORD put a word in Balaam’s mouth, and said,
Return unto Balak, and thus thou shalt speak.
04-23:16 And the
LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth,
and said, Go again unto Balak, and say thus.
04-27:21 And he
shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him
after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his word
shall they go out, and at his word they shall
come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the
congregation.
04-30:2 If a man
vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he
shall not break his word, he shall do according
to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
04-36:5 And Moses
commanded the children of Israel according to the word
of the LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath said well.
05-1:22 And ye
came near unto me every one of you, and said, We will send men before us, and
they shall search us out the land, and bring us word
again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come.
05-1:25 And they
took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto
us, and brought us word again, and said, It
is a good land which the LORD our God doth give us.
05-4:2 Ye shall
not add unto the word which I command you,
neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the
commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
05-5:5 (I stood
between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word
of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the
mount;) saying,
05-8:3 And he
humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou
knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that
man doth not live by bread only, but by every word
that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
05-9:5 Not for
thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to
possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God
doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob.
05-18:20 But the
prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in
my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the
name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
05-18:21 And if
thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word
which the LORD hath not spoken?
05-21:5 And the
priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD thy God hath chosen
to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the LORD; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried:
05-30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and
in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
05-33:9 Who said
unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he
acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy
word, and kept thy covenant.
05-34:5 So Moses
the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
06-1:13 Remember
the word which Moses the servant of the LORD
commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given
you this land.
06-6:10 And
Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise
with your voice, neither shall any word
proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.
06-8:27 Only the
cattle and the spoil of that city Israel took for a prey unto themselves,
according unto the word of the LORD which he
commanded Joshua.
06-8:35 There was
not a word of all that Moses commanded, which
Joshua read not before all the congregation of Israel, with the women, and the
little ones, and the strangers that were conversant among them.
06-14:7 Forty
years old was I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from
Kadeshbarnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word
again as it was in mine heart.
06-14:10 And now,
behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years,
even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses,
while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am
this day fourscore and five years old.
06-19:50 According
to the word of the LORD they gave him the city
which he asked, even Timnathserah in mount Ephraim: and he built the
city, and dwelt therein.
06-22:9 And the children
of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh returned, and
departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land
of Canaan, to go unto the country of Gilead, to the land of their possession,
whereof they were possessed, according to the word
of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
06-22:32 And
Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, and the princes, returned from the
children of Reuben, and from the children of Gad, out of the land of Gilead,
unto the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them word again.
09-1:23 And
Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou
have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word.
So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.
09-3:1 And the
child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there
was no open vision.
09-3:7 Now
Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word
of the LORD yet revealed unto him.
09-3:21 And the
LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in
Shiloh by the word of the LORD.
09-4:1 And the word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out
against the Philistines to battle, and pitched beside Ebenezer: and the
Philistines pitched in Aphek.
09-9:27 And as
they were going down to the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the
servant pass on before us, (and he passed on,) but stand thou still a while,
that I may shew thee the word of God.
09-15:10 Then came
the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying,
09-15:23 For
rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity
and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word
of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
09-15:26 And Samuel
said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from
being king over Israel.
10-3:11 And he
could not answer Abner a word again, because he
feared him.
10-7:4 And it
came to pass that night, that the word of the
LORD came unto Nathan, saying,
10-7:7 In all the
places wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom I
commanded to feed my people Israel, saying, Why build ye not me an house of
cedar?
10-7:25 And now,
O LORD God, the word that thou hast spoken
concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever,
and do as thou hast said.
10-14:12 Then the
woman said, Let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak one word unto my lord the king. And he said, Say on.
10-14:17 Then thine
handmaid said, The word of my lord the king
shall now be comfortable: for as an angel of God, so is my lord the king
to discern good and bad: therefore the LORD thy God will be with thee.
10-15:28 See, I
will tarry in the plain of the wilderness, until there come word from you to certify me.
10-19:10 And
Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is dead in battle. Now therefore why speak
ye not a word of bringing the king back?
10-19:14 And he
bowed the heart of all the men of Judah, even as the heart of one man;
so that they sent this word unto the
king, Return thou, and all thy servants.
10-22:31 As for God,
his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is
tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
10-23:2 The
spirit of the LORD spake by me, and his word was
in my tongue.
10-24:4 Notwithstanding
the king’s word prevailed against Joab, and
against the captains of the host. And Joab and the captains of the host went
out from the presence of the king, to number the people of Israel.
10-24:11 For when
David was up in the morning, the word of the
LORD came unto the prophet Gad, David’s seer, saying,
11-2:4 That the
LORD may continue his word which he spake
concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before
me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail
thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.
11-2:23 Then king
Solomon sware by the LORD, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah
have not spoken this word against his own life.
11-2:27 So
Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being priest unto the LORD; that he might
fulfil the word of the LORD, which he spake
concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.
11-2:30 And
Benaiah came to the tabernacle of the LORD, and said unto him, Thus saith the
king, Come forth. And he said, Nay; but I will die here. And Benaiah brought
the king word again, saying, Thus said Joab, and
thus he answered me.
11-2:42 And the
king sent and called for Shimei, and said unto him, Did I not make thee to
swear by the LORD, and protested unto thee, saying, Know for a certain, on the
day thou goest out, and walkest abroad any whither, that thou shalt surely die?
and thou saidst unto me, The word that I
have heard is good.
11-6:11 And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,
11-6:12 Concerning
this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes,
and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then
will I perform my word with thee, which I spake
unto David thy father:
11-8:20 And the
LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and
I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel,
as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of
Israel.
11-8:26 And now,
O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be
verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father.
11-8:56 Blessed be
the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all
that he promised: there hath not failed one word
of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.
11-12:22 But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
11-12:24 Thus saith
the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of
Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They
hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and
returned to depart, according to the word of the
LORD.
11-13:1 And,
behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word
of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.
11-13:2 And he
cried against the altar in the word of the LORD,
and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born
unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the
priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall
be burnt upon thee.
11-13:5 The altar
also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign
which the man of God had given by the word of
the LORD.
11-13:9 For so
was it charged me by the word of the LORD,
saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou
camest.
11-13:17 For it was
said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt
eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou
camest.
11-13:18 He said
unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake
unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring
him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But
he lied unto him.
11-13:20 And it
came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word
of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him back:
11-13:26 And when
the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said,
It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered
him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.
11-13:32 For the
saying which he cried by the word of the LORD
against the altar in Bethel, and against all the houses of the high places
which are in the cities of Samaria, shall surely come to pass.
11-14:18 And they
buried him; and all Israel mourned for him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by the hand of his
servant Ahijah the prophet.
11-16:1 Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani
against Baasha, saying,
11-16:7 And also
by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his
house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking
him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam;
and because he killed him.
11-16:12 Thus did
Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake against Baasha by Jehu the
prophet,
11-16:34 In his
days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in
Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub,
according to the word of the LORD, which he
spake by Joshua the son of Nun.
11-17:1 And
Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto
Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall
not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
11-17:2 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,
11-17:5 So he
went and did according unto the word of the
LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
11-17:8 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,
11-17:16 And the
barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.
11-17:24 And the
woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and
that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is
truth.
11-18:1 And it
came to pass after many days, that the word
of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto
Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.
11-18:21 And Elijah
came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if
the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And
the people answered him not a word.
11-18:31 And Elijah
took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob,
unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying,
Israel shall be thy name:
11-18:36 And it
came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice,
that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of
Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that
I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy
word.
11-19:9 And he
came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto
him, What doest thou here, Elijah?
11-20:9 Wherefore
he said unto the messengers of Benhadad, Tell my lord the king, All that thou
didst send for to thy servant at the first I will do: but this thing I may not
do. And the messengers departed, and brought him word
again.
11-20:35 And a
certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbour in the word of the LORD, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man
refused to smite him.
11-21:4 And Ahab
came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had
said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down
upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.
11-21:17 And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,
11-21:28 And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,
11-22:5 And
Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.
11-22:13 And the
messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the
words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy
word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.
11-22:19 And he
said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD:
I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by
him on his right hand and on his left.
11-22:38 And one
washed the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his
blood; and they washed his armour; according unto the word
of the LORD which he spake.
12-1:16 And he
said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to
enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no
God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore
thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt
surely die.
12-1:17 So he
died according to the word of the LORD which
Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of
Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son.
12-3:12 And
Jehoshaphat said, The word of the LORD is with
him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to
him.
12-4:44 So he set
it before them, and they did eat, and left thereof, according to
the word of the LORD.
12-6:18 And when
they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this
people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according
to the word of Elisha.
12-7:1 Then
Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus
saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be
sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of
Samaria.
12-7:16 And the
people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine
flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according
to the word of the LORD.
12-9:26 Surely I
have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the
LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take and
cast him into the plat of ground, according to the word of the LORD.
12-9:36 Wherefore
they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah
the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of
Jezebel:
12-10:10 Know now
that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word
of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD
hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.
12-14:25 He
restored the coast of Israel from the entering of Hamath unto the sea of the
plain, according to the word of the LORD God of
Israel, which he spake by the hand of his servant Jonah, the son of Amittai,
the prophet, which was of Gathhepher.
12-15:12 This was
the word of the LORD which he spake unto
Jehu, saying, Thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel unto the fourth generation.
And so it came to pass.
12-18:28 Then
Rabshakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jews’ language, and spake,
saying, Hear the word of the great king, the
king of Assyria:
12-18:36 But the
people held their peace, and answered him not a word:
for the king’s commandment was, saying, Answer him not.
12-19:21 This is
the word that the LORD hath spoken
concerning him; The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised thee, and laughed
thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.
12-20:4 And it
came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,
12-20:16 And Isaiah
said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.
12-20:19 Then said
Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of
the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if
peace and truth be in my days?
12-22:9 And
Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Thy servants have gathered the
money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of them
that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD.
12-22:20 Behold
therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into
thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will
bring upon this place. And they brought the king word
again.
12-23:16 And as
Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchres that were there in the
mount, and sent, and took the bones out of the sepulchres, and burned them upon
the altar, and polluted it, according to the word
of the LORD which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words.
12-24:2 And the
LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and
bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them
against Judah to destroy it, according to the word
of the LORD, which he spake by his servants the prophets.
13-10:13 So Saul
died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against
the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and
also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to
enquire of it;
13-11:3 Therefore
came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant
with them in Hebron before the LORD; and they anointed David king over Israel,
according to the word of the LORD by Samuel.
13-11:10 These also
are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who strengthened
themselves with him in his kingdom, and with all Israel, to make him
king, according to the word of the LORD
concerning Israel.
13-12:23 And these are
the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came
to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the LORD.
13-15:15 And the
children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the
staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word
of the LORD.
13-16:15 Be ye
mindful always of his covenant; the word which
he commanded to a thousand generations;
13-17:3 And it
came to pass the same night, that the word of
God came to Nathan, saying,
13-17:6 Wheresoever
I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to
any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why
have ye not built me an house of cedars?
13-21:4 Nevertheless
the king’s word prevailed against Joab.
Wherefore Joab departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.
13-21:6 But Levi
and Benjamin counted he not among them: for the king’s word
was abominable to Joab.
13-21:12 Either
three years’ famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while
that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the
sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD
destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself
what word I shall bring again to him that sent
me.
13-22:8 But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed
blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto
my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.
14-6:10 The LORD
therefore hath performed his word that he hath
spoken: for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the
throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name
of the LORD God of Israel.
14-6:17 Now then,
O LORD God of Israel, let thy word be verified,
which thou hast spoken unto thy servant David.
14-10:15 So the
king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause was of God, that the LORD
might perform his word, which he spake by the
hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
14-11:2 But the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah the man of God,
saying,
14-12:7 And when
the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word
of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves; therefore
I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance; and my
wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.
14-18:4 And
Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.
14-18:12 And the
messenger that went to call Micaiah spake to him, saying, Behold, the words of
the prophets declare good to the king with one assent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like one of theirs,
and speak thou good.
14-18:18 Again he
said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw
the LORD sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his
right hand and on his left.
14-30:12 Also in
Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the
king and of the princes, by the word of the
LORD.
14-34:16 And
Shaphan carried the book to the king, and brought the king word back again, saying, All that was committed to thy
servants, they do it.
14-34:21 Go,
enquire of the LORD for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah,
concerning the words of the book that is found: for great is the wrath
of the LORD that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the LORD, to do after all that is written in
this book.
14-34:28 Behold, I
will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in
peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this
place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So they brought the king word again.
14-35:6 So kill
the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren, that they may
do according to the word of the LORD by the hand
of Moses.
14-36:21 To fulfil
the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah,
until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate
she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.
14-36:22 Now in the
first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word
of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the
LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation
throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
15-1:1 Now in
the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word
of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up
the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all
his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
15-6:11 Also I
have made a decree, that whosoever shall alter this word,
let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged
thereon; and let his house be made a dunghill for this.
15-10:5 Then
arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear
that they should do according to this word. And
they sware.
16-1:8 Remember,
I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst
thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad
among the nations:
17-1:21 And the
saying pleased the king and the princes; and the king did according to the word of Memucan:
17-7:8 Then the
king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine;
and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the
king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered
Haman’s face.
18-2:13 So they
sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a
word unto him: for they saw that his grief
was very great.
19-17:4 Concerning
the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have
kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
19-18:30 As for God,
his way is perfect: the word of the LORD
is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
19-33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are
done in truth.
19-33:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the
host of them by the breath of his mouth.
19-56:4 In God I
will praise his word, in God I have put my
trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
19-56:10 In God
will I praise his word: in the LORD will
I praise his word.
19-68:11 The Lord
gave the word: great was the company of
those that published it.
19-103:20 Bless the
LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments,
hearkening unto the voice of his word.
19-105:8 He hath
remembered his covenant for ever, the word which
he commanded to a thousand generations.
19-105:19 Until the
time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
19-105:28 He sent
darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
19-106:24 Yea, they
despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
19-107:20 He sent his
word, and healed them, and delivered them from
their destructions.
19-119:9 BETH.
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according
to thy word.
19-119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin
against thee.
19-119:16 I will
delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
19-119:17 GIMEL.
Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
19-119:25 DALETH.
My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
19-119:28 My soul
melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.
19-119:38 Stablish
thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to
thy fear.
19-119:41 VAU.
Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according
to thy word.
19-119:42 So shall I
have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
19-119:43 And take
not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth;
for I have hoped in thy judgments.
19-119:49 ZAIN.
Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which
thou hast caused me to hope.
19-119:50 This is my
comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath
quickened me.
19-119:58 I intreated
thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.
19-119:65 TETH.
Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.
19-119:67 Before I
was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
19-119:74 They that fear
thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.
19-119:76 Let, I pray
thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.
19-119:81 CAPH.
My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.
19-119:82 Mine eyes
fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou
comfort me?
19-119:89 LAMED.
For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
19-119:101 I have
refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
19-119:105 NUN.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a
light unto my path.
19-119:107 I am
afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.
19-119:114 Thou art my
hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
19-119:116 Uphold me
according unto thy word, that I may live: and
let me not be ashamed of my hope.
19-119:123 Mine eyes
fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy
righteousness.
19-119:133 Order my
steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have
dominion over me.
19-119:140 Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth
it.
19-119:147 I prevented
the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
19-119:148 Mine eyes
prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
19-119:154 Plead my
cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.
19-119:158 I beheld the
transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
19-119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and
every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
19-119:161 SCHIN.
Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy
word.
19-119:162 I rejoice at
thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
19-119:169 TAU.
Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to
thy word.
19-119:170 Let my
supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
19-119:172 My tongue
shall speak of thy word: for all thy
commandments are righteousness.
19-130:5 I wait for
the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do
I hope.
19-138:2 I will
worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and
for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word
above all thy name.
19-139:4 For there
is not a word in my tongue, but, lo,
O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
19-147:15 He sendeth
forth his commandment upon earth: his word
runneth very swiftly.
19-147:18 He sendeth
out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his
wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19-147:19 He sheweth
his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments
unto Israel.
19-148:8 Fire, and
hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
20-12:25 Heaviness
in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word
maketh it glad.
20-13:13 Whoso
despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he
that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
20-14:15 The simple
believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh
well to his going.
20-15:23 A man hath
joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken
in due season, how good is it!
20-25:11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in
pictures of silver.
20-30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto
them that put their trust in him.
21-8:4 Where
the word of a king is, there is power:
and who may say unto him, What doest thou?
23-1:10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto
the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
23-2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah
and Jerusalem.
23-2:3 And many
people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will
walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
23-5:24 Therefore
as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their
root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because
they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
23-8:10 Take
counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with
us.
23-8:20 To the
law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in
them.
23-9:8 The Lord
sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon
Israel.
23-16:13 This is
the word that the LORD hath spoken
concerning Moab since that time.
23-24:3 The land
shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.
23-28:13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept,
precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there
a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and
taken.
23-28:14 Wherefore
hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that
rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
23-29:21 That make
a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare
for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of
nought.
23-30:12 Wherefore
thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and
stay thereon:
23-30:21 And thine
ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This
is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye
turn to the left.
23-36:21 But they
held their peace, and answered him not a word:
for the king’s commandment was, saying, Answer him not.
23-37:22 This is
the word which the LORD hath spoken
concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed
thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.
23-38:4 Then came
the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,
23-39:5 Then said
Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD of
hosts:
23-39:8 Then said
Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of
the LORD which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and
truth in my days.
23-40:8 The grass
withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of
our God shall stand for ever.
23-41:28 For I
beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no
counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word.
23-44:26 That
confirmeth the word of his servant, and
performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt
be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise
up the decayed places thereof:
23-45:23 I have
sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my
mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee
shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
23-50:4 The Lord
GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth
morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
23-55:11 So shall
my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it
shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and
it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
23-66:2 For all
those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been,
saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that
is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
23-66:5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out
for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to
your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
24-1:2 To whom
the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah
the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.
24-1:4 Then the
word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
24-1:11 Moreover
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
24-1:12 Then said
the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
24-1:13 And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying,
What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward
the north.
24-2:1 Moreover
the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
24-2:4 Hear ye
the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all
the families of the house of Israel:
24-2:31 O
generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I
been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We
are lords; we will come no more unto thee?
24-5:13 And the
prophets shall become wind, and the word is not
in them: thus shall it be done unto them.
24-5:14 Wherefore
thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this
people wood, and it shall devour them.
24-6:10 To whom
shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised,
and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the
LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.
24-7:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
24-7:2 Stand in
the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word,
and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of
Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.
24-8:9 The wise
men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the
word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in
them?
24-9:20 Yet hear
the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your
ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach
your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation.
24-10:1 Hear ye
the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O
house of Israel:
24-11:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
24-13:2 So I got
a girdle according to the word of the LORD, and
put it on my loins.
24-13:3 And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying,
24-13:8 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
24-13:12 Therefore
thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith
the LORD God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall
say unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with wine?
24-14:1 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah concerning the
dearth.
24-14:17 Therefore
thou shalt say this word unto them; Let mine
eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter
of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.
24-15:16 Thy words
were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was
unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O
LORD God of hosts.
24-16:1 The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,
24-17:15 Behold,
they say unto me, Where is the word of
the LORD? let it come now.
24-17:20 And say
unto them, Hear ye the word of the LORD, ye
kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter
in by these gates:
24-18:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
24-18:5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
24-18:18 Then said
they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not
perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with
the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.
24-19:3 And say,
Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah,
and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his
ears shall tingle.
24-20:8 For since
I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a
derision, daily.
24-20:9 Then I
said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his
word was in mine heart as a burning fire
shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.
24-21:1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when king
Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of
Maaseiah the priest, saying,
24-21:11 And
touching the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear ye the word of the LORD;
24-22:1 Thus
saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this
word,
24-22:2 And say,
Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that
sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that
enter in by these gates:
24-22:29 O earth,
earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.
24-23:18 For who
hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word,
and heard it?
24-23:28 The
prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word
faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
24-23:29 Is not
my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like
a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
24-23:36 And the
burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the
words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.
24-23:38 But since
ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say
this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have
sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD;
24-24:4 Again the
word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
24-25:1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people
of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was
the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;
24-25:3 From the
thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day,
that is the three and twentieth year, the word
of the LORD hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and
speaking; but ye have not hearkened.
24-26:1 In the
beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word from the LORD, saying,
24-26:2 Thus
saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD’S house, and speak unto all the
cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’S house, all the words that
I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:
24-27:1 In the
beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
24-27:18 But if
they be prophets, and if the word of the
LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that
the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of
the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.
24-28:7 Nevertheless
hear thou now this word that I speak in thine
ears, and in the ears of all the people;
24-28:9 The
prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word
of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that
the LORD hath truly sent him.
24-28:12 Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after
that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet
Jeremiah, saying,
24-29:10 For thus
saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will
visit you, and perform my good word toward you,
in causing you to return to this place.
24-29:20 Hear ye
therefore the word of the LORD, all ye of the
captivity, whom I have sent from Jerusalem to Babylon:
24-29:30 Then came
the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
24-30:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
24-31:10 Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in
the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep
him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
24-32:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the tenth
year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of
Nebuchadrezzar.
24-32:6 And
Jeremiah said, The word of the LORD came unto
me, saying,
24-32:8 So
Hanameel mine uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to
the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my
field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country
of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is
thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.
24-32:26 Then came
the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
24-33:1 Moreover
the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the
second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
24-33:19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,
24-33:23 Moreover
the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
24-34:1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the
earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and
against all the cities thereof, saying,
24-34:4 Yet hear
the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah;
Thus saith the LORD of thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword:
24-34:5 But thou
shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings
which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they
will lament thee, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.
24-34:8 This
is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the
LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people
which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;
24-34:12 Therefore
the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah from the
LORD, saying,
24-35:1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the
days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,
24-35:12 Then came
the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
24-36:1 And it came
to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that
this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD,
saying,
24-36:27 Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, after that the king
had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah,
saying,
24-37:6 Then came
the word of the LORD unto the prophet Jeremiah,
saying,
24-37:17 Then
Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in
his house, and said, Is there any word from
the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered
into the hand of the king of Babylon.
24-38:21 But if
thou refuse to go forth, this is the word
that the LORD hath shewed me:
24-39:15 Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut
up in the court of the prison, saying,
24-40:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after that
Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had
taken him being bound in chains among all that were carried away captive of
Jerusalem and Judah, which were carried away captive unto Babylon.
24-42:7 And it
came to pass after ten days, that the word of
the LORD came unto Jeremiah.
24-42:15 And now
therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye remnant
of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; If ye wholly set
your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there;
24-43:8 Then came
the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah in Tahpanhes,
saying,
24-44:1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews
which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and
at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,
24-44:16 As for the
word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name
of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.
24-44:24 Moreover
Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the
land of Egypt:
24-44:26 Therefore
hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that
dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the
LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in
all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth.
24-45:1 The word that Jeremiah the prophet spake unto Baruch the
son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the mouth of
Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah,
saying,
24-46:1 The word of the LORD which came to Jeremiah the prophet
against the Gentiles;
24-46:13 The word that the LORD spake to Jeremiah the prophet, how
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon should come and smite the land of Egypt.
24-47:1 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet
against the Philistines, before that Pharaoh smote Gaza.
24-49:34 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet
against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,
24-50:1 The word that the LORD spake against Babylon and against
the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet.
24-51:59 The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the
son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of
Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was
a quiet prince.
25-2:17 The LORD
hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath
thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to
rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.
26-1:3 The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the
priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and
the hand of the LORD was there upon him.
26-3:16 And it
came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word
of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-3:17 Son of
man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
26-6:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-6:3 And say,
Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the
Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the
rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon
you, and I will destroy your high places.
26-7:1 Moreover
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-11:14 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-12:1 The word of the LORD also came unto me, saying,
26-12:8 And in
the morning came the word of the LORD unto me,
saying,
26-12:17 Moreover
the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
26-12:21 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-12:25 For I am
the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I
shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your
days, O rebellious house, will I say the word,
and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-12:26 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
26-12:28 Therefore
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be
prolonged any more, but the word which I have
spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-13:2 Son of
man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto
them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;
26-13:6 They have
seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not
sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the
word.
26-14:2 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-14:12 The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,
26-15:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-16:1 Again the
word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-16:35 Wherefore,
O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:
26-17:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-17:11 Moreover
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-18:1 The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,
26-20:2 Then came
the word of the LORD unto me, saying,
26-20:45 Moreover
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-20:46 Son of
man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word
toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field;
26-20:47 And say to
the forest of the south, Hear the word of the
LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it
shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame
shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be
burned therein.
26-21:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-21:2 Son of
man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word
toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,
26-21:8 Again the
word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-21:18 The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,
26-22:1 Moreover
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-22:17 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-22:23 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-23:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
26-24:1 Again in
the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-24:15 Also the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-24:20 Then I
answered them, The word of the LORD came unto
me, saying,
26-25:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
26-25:3 And say
unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord
GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary,
when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and
against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;
26-26:1 And it
came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-27:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
26-28:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
26-28:11 Moreover
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-28:20 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-29:1 In the
tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month,
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-29:17 And it
came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the
first day of the month, the word of the
LORD came unto me, saying,
26-30:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
26-30:20 And it
came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day
of the month, that the word of the
LORD came unto me, saying,
26-31:1 And it
came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, in the first day
of the month, that the word of the
LORD came unto me, saying,
26-32:1 And it
came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of
the month, that the word of the LORD came
unto me, saying,
26-32:17 It came to
pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-33:1 Again the
word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-33:7 So thou,
O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore
thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn
them from me.
26-33:23 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-33:30 Also, thou
son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the
walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to
his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.
26-34:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-34:7 Therefore,
ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;
26-34:9 Therefore,
O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;
26-35:1 Moreover
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-36:1 Also,
thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains
of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:
26-36:4 Therefore,
ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the
Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the
rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are
forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are
round about;
26-36:16 Moreover
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26-37:4 Again he
said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones,
hear the word of the LORD.
26-37:15 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
26-38:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
27-3:28 Then Nebuchadnezzar
spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and
have changed the king’s word, and yielded their
bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
27-4:17 This
matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living
may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to
whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
27-4:31 While the
word was in the king’s mouth, there fell
a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is
spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.
27-9:2 In the
first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years,
whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah
the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of
Jerusalem.
27-10:11 And he said
unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak
unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had
spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
28-1:1 The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of
Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of
Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
28-1:2 The
beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And
the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of
whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from
the LORD.
28-4:1 Hear the
word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the
LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no
truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
29-1:1 The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.
29-2:11 And the
LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great:
for he is strong that executeth his word:
for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide
it?
30-3:1 Hear
this word that the LORD hath spoken against you,
O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land
of Egypt, saying,
30-4:1 Hear
this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in
the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which
say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.
30-5:1 Hear ye
this word which I take up against you, even a
lamentation, O house of Israel.
30-7:16 Now
therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou
sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.
30-8:12 And they
shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall
run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and
shall not find it.

32-3:3 So Jonah
arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word
of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days’ journey.
32-3:6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from
his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with
sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
33-1:1 The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in
the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw
concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
33-4:2 And many
nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the
LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways,
and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
35-3:9 Thy bow
was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
36-1:1 The word of the LORD which came unto Zephaniah the son of
Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days
of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.
36-2:5 Woe unto
the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the
land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no
inhabitant.
37-1:1 In the
second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the
month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the
prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua
the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,
37-1:3 Then
came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet,
saying,
37-2:1 In the
seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came
the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai,
saying,
37-2:5 According
to the word that I covenanted with you when
ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
37-2:10 In the
four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of
Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the
prophet, saying,
37-2:20 And again
the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the
four and twentieth day of the month, saying,
38-1:1 In the
eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word
of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet,
saying,
38-1:7 Upon the
four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat,
in the second year of Darius, came the word of
the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet,
saying,
38-4:6 Then he
answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word
of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my
spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
38-4:8 Moreover
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
38-6:9 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
38-7:1 And it
came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day
of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;
38-7:4 Then
came the word of the LORD of hosts unto me,
saying,
38-7:8 And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying,
38-8:1 Again
the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,
38-8:18 And the word of the LORD of hosts came unto me, saying,
38-9:1 The
burden of the word of the LORD in the land of
Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the eyes of man,
as of all the tribes of Israel, shall be toward the LORD.
38-11:11 And it was
broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that
it was the word of the LORD.
38-12:1 The
burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith
the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the
earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
39-1:1 The
burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by
Malachi.
40-2:8 And he
sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child;
and when ye have found him, bring me word
again, that I may come and worship him also.
40-2:13 And when
they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a
dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into
Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word:
for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
40-4:4 But he
answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by
every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of
God.
40-8:8 The
centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come
under my roof: but speak the word only, and my
servant shall be healed.
40-8:16 When the even
was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he
cast out the spirits with his word, and
healed all that were sick:
40-12:32 And
whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of
man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost,
it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to
come.
40-12:36 But I say
unto you, That every idle word that men shall
speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
40-13:19 When any
one heareth the word of the kingdom, and
understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth
away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the
way side.
40-13:20 But he
that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
40-13:21 Yet hath
he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or
persecution ariseth because of the word, by and
by he is offended.
40-13:22 He also
that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the
deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he
becometh unfruitful.
40-13:23 But he
that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth
fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
40-15:23 But he
answered her not a word. And his disciples came
and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
40-18:16 But if he will
not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of
two or three witnesses every word may be
established.
40-22:46 And no man
was able to answer him a word, neither durst any
man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
40-26:75 And Peter
remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto
him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept
bitterly.
40-27:14 And he
answered him to never a word; insomuch that the
governor marvelled greatly.
40-28:8 And they
departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to
bring his disciples word.
41-2:2 And
straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to
receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.
41-4:14 The sower
soweth the word.
41-4:15 And these
are they by the way side, where the word is
sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
41-4:16 And these
are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the
word, immediately receive it with gladness;
41-4:18 And these
are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
41-4:19 And the
cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other
things entering in, choke the word, and it
becometh unfruitful.
41-4:20 And these
are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit,
some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
41-4:33 And with
many such parables spake he the word unto them,
as they were able to hear it.
41-5:36 As soon
as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he
saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
41-7:13 Making
the word of God of none effect through your
tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
41-14:72 And the
second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou
shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.
41-16:20 And they
went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and
confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
42-1:2 Even as they
delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and
ministers of the word;
42-1:38 And Mary
said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
42-2:29 Lord, now
lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
42-3:2 Annas
and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of
God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
42-4:4 And
Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread
alone, but by every word of God.
42-4:32 And they
were astonished at his doctrine: for his word
was with power.
42-4:36 And they
were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth
the unclean spirits, and they come out.
42-5:1 And it
came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
42-5:5 And
Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have
taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will
let down the net.
42-7:7 Wherefore
neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.
42-8:11 Now the
parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
42-8:12 Those by
the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and
be saved.
42-8:13 They on
the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a
while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
42-8:15 But that
on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard
the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit
with patience.
42-8:21 And he
answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the
word of God, and do it.
42-10:39 And she
had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.
42-11:28 But he
said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
42-12:10 And
whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of
man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy
Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
42-22:61 And the
Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the
cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
42-24:19 And he
said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of
Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word
before God and all the people:
43-1:1 In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word
was God.
43-1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld
his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and
truth.
43-2:22 When
therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said
this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
43-4:41 And many
more believed because of his own word;
43-4:50 Jesus
saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his
way.
43-5:24 Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word,
and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come
into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
43-5:38 And ye
have not his word abiding in you: for whom he
hath sent, him ye believe not.
43-8:31 Then said
Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
43-8:37 I know
that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
43-8:43 Why do ye
not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
43-10:35 If he
called them gods, unto whom the word of God
came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
43-12:48 He that
rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in
the last day.
43-14:24 He that
loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word
which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
43-15:3 Now ye
are clean through the word which I have spoken
unto you.
43-15:20 Remember
the word that I said unto you, The servant is
not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute
you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
43-15:25 But this
cometh to pass, that the word might be
fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
43-17:6 I have
manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine
they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
43-17:14 I have given
them thy word; and the world hath hated them,
because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
43-17:17 Sanctify
them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
43-17:20 Neither
pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through
their word;
44-2:41 Then they
that gladly received his word were baptized: and
the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
44-4:4 Howbeit
many of them which heard the word believed; and the
number of the men was about five thousand.
44-4:29 And now,
Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all
boldness they may speak thy word,
44-4:31 And when they
had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they
were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
44-6:2 Then the
twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is
not reason that we should leave the word of God,
and serve tables.
44-6:4 But we
will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
44-6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples
multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were
obedient to the faith.
44-8:4 Therefore
they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
44-8:14 Now when
the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
44-8:25 And they,
when they had testified and preached the word of
the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of
the Samaritans.
44-10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel,
preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
44-10:37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published
throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John
preached;
44-10:44 While
Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
44-11:1 And the
apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also
received the word of God.
44-11:16 Then
remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said,
John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
44-11:19 Now they
which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen
travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
44-12:24 But the word of God grew and multiplied.
44-13:5 And when
they were at Salamis, they preached the word of
God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.
44-13:7 Which was
with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for
Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word
of God.
44-13:15 And after
the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto
them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.
44-13:26 Men and
brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth
God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.
44-13:44 And the
next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
44-13:46 Then Paul
and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but
seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life,
lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
44-13:48 And when
the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to
eternal life believed.
44-13:49 And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the
region.
44-14:3 Long time
therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the
word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders
to be done by their hands.
44-14:25 And when
they had preached the word in Perga, they went
down into Attalia:
44-15:7 And when
there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren,
ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles
by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel,
and believe.
44-15:35 Paul also
and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.
44-15:36 And some
days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in
every city where we have preached the word of the
Lord, and see how they do.
44-16:6 Now when
they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden
of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,
44-16:32 And they
spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all
that were in his house.
44-17:11 These were
more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the
scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
44-17:13 But when
the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word
of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up
the people.
44-18:11 And he
continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
44-19:10 And this continued
by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
44-19:20 So
mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
44-20:32 And now,
brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word
of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance
among all them which are sanctified.
44-22:22 And they
gave him audience unto this word, and then lifted
up their voices, and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth: for
it is not fit that he should live.
44-28:25 And when
they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one
word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the
prophet unto our fathers,
45-9:6 Not as
though the word of God hath taken none effect.
For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
45-9:9 For this
is the word of promise, At this time will
I come, and Sarah shall have a son.
45-10:8 But what
saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy
mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of
faith, which we preach;
45-10:17 So then
faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word
of God.
45-15:18 For I will
not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to
make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
46-4:20 For the
kingdom of God is not in word, but in
power.
46-12:8 For to
one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom;
to another the word of knowledge by the same
Spirit;
46-14:36 What? came
the word of God out from you? or came it unto
you only?
47-1:18 But as
God is true, our word toward you was
not yea and nay.
47-2:17 For we
are not as many, which corrupt the word of God:
but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
47-4:2 But have
renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor
handling the word of God deceitfully; but by
manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in
the sight of God.
47-5:19 To wit,
that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their
trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word
of reconciliation.
47-6:7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness
on the right hand and on the left,
47-10:11 Let such
an one think this, that, such as we are in word
by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are
present.
47-13:1 This is
the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three
witnesses shall every word be established.
48-5:14 For all
the law is fulfilled in one word, even in
this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
48-6:6 Let him
that is taught in the word communicate unto him that
teacheth in all good things.
49-1:13 In whom
ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word
of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye
were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
49-5:26 That he
might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
49-6:17 And take
the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
50-1:14 And many
of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold
to speak the word without fear.
50-2:16 Holding
forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in
the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
51-1:5 For the hope
which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
51-1:25 Whereof I
am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me
for you, to fulfil the word of God;
51-3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
51-3:17 And
whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all
in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
52-1:5 For our
gospel came not unto you in word only, but also
in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner
of men we were among you for your sake.
52-1:6 And ye
became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:
52-1:8 For from
you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in
Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread
abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.
52-2:13 For this
cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not
as the word of men, but as it is in
truth, the word of God, which effectually
worketh also in you that believe.
52-4:15 For this
we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we
which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent
them which are asleep.
53-2:2 That ye
be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of
Christ is at hand.
53-2:15 Therefore,
brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught,
whether by word, or our epistle.
53-2:17 Comfort
your hearts, and stablish you in every good word
and work.
53-3:1 Finally,
brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord
may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
53-3:14 And if
any man obey not our word by this epistle, note
that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
54-4:5 For it
is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
54-4:12 Let no
man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in
faith, in purity.
54-5:17 Let the
elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who
labour in the word and doctrine.
55-2:9 Wherein
I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
55-2:15 Study to
shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.
55-2:17 And their
word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is
Hymenaeus and Philetus;
55-4:2 Preach
the word; be instant in season, out of season;
reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
56-1:3 But hath
in due times manifested his word through
preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our
Saviour;
56-1:9 Holding
fast the faithful word as he hath been taught,
that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the
gainsayers.
56-2:5 To be
discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands,
that the word of God be not blasphemed.
58-1:3 Who
being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person,
and upholding all things by the word of his power,
when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the
Majesty on high;
58-2:2 For if
the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and
every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
58-4:2 For unto
us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed
with faith in them that heard it.
58-4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper
than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart.
58-5:13 For every
one that useth milk is unskilful in the word
of righteousness: for he is a babe.
58-6:5 And have
tasted the good word of God, and the powers of
the world to come,
58-7:28 For the
law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the
Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
58-11:3 Through faith
we understand that the worlds were framed by the word
of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
58-12:19 And the
sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard
intreated that the word should not be spoken to
them any more:
58-12:27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of
those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things
which cannot be shaken may remain.
58-13:7 Remember them
which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end
of their conversation.
58-13:22 And I
beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of
exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
59-1:18 Of his
own will begat he us with the word of truth,
that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
59-1:21 Wherefore
lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with
meekness the engrafted word, which is able to
save your souls.
59-1:22 But be ye
doers of the word, and not hearers only,
deceiving your own selves.
59-1:23 For if
any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he
is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
59-3:2 For in
many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word,
the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole
body.
60-1:23 Being
born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
60-1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
60-2:2 As
newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word,
that ye may grow thereby:
60-2:8 And a stone
of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were
appointed.
60-3:1 Likewise,
ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not
the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
61-1:19 We have
also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye
do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until
the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
61-3:5 For this
they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word
of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in
the water:
61-3:7 But the
heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word
are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition
of ungodly men.
62-1:1 That
which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our
eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
62-1:10 If we say
that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word
is not in us.
62-2:5 But
whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the
love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
62-2:7 Brethren,
I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from
the beginning. The old commandment is the word
which ye have heard from the beginning.
62-2:14 I have
written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the
beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the
wicked one.
62-3:18 My little
children, let us not love in word, neither in
tongue; but in deed and in truth.
62-5:7 For
there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
66-1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and
of all things that he saw.
66-1:9 I John, who also am your brother,
and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ,
was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word
of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
66-3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have
set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little
strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not
denied my name.
66-3:10 Because thou hast kept
the word of my patience, I also will keep thee
from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them
that dwell upon the earth.
66-6:9 And when he had opened the fifth
seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
66-12:11 And they
overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word
of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
66-19:13 And he was
clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
66-20:4 And I saw thrones, and
they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls
of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
