01-GENESIS
01-14:17 And the king
of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of
Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king’s dale.
01-26:17 And Isaac
departed thence, and pitched his tent in the valley
of Gerar, and dwelt there.
01-26:19 And
Isaac’s servants digged in the valley, and found
there a well of springing water.
04-14:25 (Now the
Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.)
To morrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
04-21:12 From
thence they removed, and pitched in the valley
of Zared.
04-21:20 And from
Bamoth in the valley that is in
the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looketh toward Jeshimon.
04-32:9 For when
they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw
the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they
should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.
05-1:24 And they
turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and searched it out.
05-3:16 And unto
the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I gave from Gilead even unto the river
Arnon half the valley, and the border even unto
the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;
05-3:29 So we
abode in the valley over against Bethpeor.
05-4:46 On this
side Jordan, in the valley over against
Bethpeor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom
Moses and the children of Israel smote, after they were come forth out of
Egypt:
05-21:4 And the
elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is neither eared nor sown, and shall
strike off the heifer’s neck there in the valley:
05-21:6 And all
the elders of that city, that are next unto the slain man, shall
wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley:
05-34:3 And the
south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho,
the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.
05-34:6 And he
buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over
against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
06-7:24 And
Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver,
and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and
his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and
they brought them unto the valley of Achor.
06-7:26 And they raised
over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the LORD turned from the
fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.
06-8:11 And all
the people, even the people of war that were with him, went up,
and drew nigh, and came before the city, and pitched on the north side of Ai:
now there was a valley between them and
Ai.
06-8:13 And when
they had set the people, even all the host that was on the north of
the city, and their liers in wait on the west of the city, Joshua went that
night into the midst of the valley.
06-10:12 Then spake
Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before
the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou
still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley
of Ajalon.
06-11:2 And to
the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains
south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in
the borders of Dor on the west,
06-11:8 And the
LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them
unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephothmaim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left
them none remaining.
06-11:16 So Joshua took
all that land, the hills, and all the south country, and all the land of
Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the
mountain of Israel, and the valley of the same;
06-11:17 Even from
the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even unto Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and all their
kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.
06-12:7 And these
are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel
smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that
goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a
possession according to their divisions;
06-13:19 And
Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zarethshahar in the mount of the valley,
06-13:27 And in the
valley, Betharam, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth,
and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his
border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other
side Jordan eastward.
06-15:7 And the
border went up toward Debir from the valley of
Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going
up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border
passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at
Enrogel:
06-15:8 And the
border went up by the valley of the son of
Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and
the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end
of the valley of the giants northward:
06-15:33 And in
the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
06-17:16 And the
children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites
that dwell in the land of the valley have
chariots of iron, both they who are of Bethshean and her towns,
and they who are of the valley of
Jezreel.
06-18:16 And the
border came down to the end of the mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom, and which is in
the valley of the giants on the north, and
descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side
of Jebusi on the south, and descended to Enrogel,
06-18:21 Now the
cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families
were Jericho, and Bethhoglah, and the valley of
Keziz.
06-19:14 And the
border compasseth it on the north side to Hannathon: and the outgoings thereof
are in the valley of Jiphthahel:
06-19:27 And
turneth toward the sunrising to Bethdagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthahel toward the north side of
Bethemek, and Neiel, and goeth out to Cabul on the left hand,
07-1:9 And
afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites, that
dwelt in the mountain, and in the south, and in the valley.
07-1:19 And the LORD
was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but
could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley,
because they had chariots of iron.
07-1:34 And the
Amorites forced the children of Dan into the mountain: for they would not suffer
them to come down to the valley:
07-5:15 And the
princes of Issachar were with Deborah; even Issachar, and also Barak: he
was sent on foot into the valley. For the
divisions of Reuben there were great thoughts of heart.
07-6:33 Then all
the Midianites and the Amalekites and the children of the east were gathered
together, and went over, and pitched in the valley
of Jezreel.
07-7:1 Then
Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him,
rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod: so that the host of the
Midianites were on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley.
07-7:8 So the
people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all the
rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and retained those three hundred
men: and the host of Midian was beneath him in the valley.
07-7:12 And the
Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the
valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and
their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for
multitude.
07-16:4 And it
came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley
of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.
07-18:28 And there
was no deliverer, because it was far from Zidon, and they had no
business with any man; and it was in the valley
that lieth by Bethrehob. And they built a city, and dwelt therein.
09-6:13 And they
of Bethshemesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley: and they lifted up their eyes, and saw the
ark, and rejoiced to see it.
09-13:18 And
another company turned the way to Bethhoron: and another company turned to
the way of the border that looketh to the valley
of Zeboim toward the wilderness.
09-15:5 And Saul
came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley.
09-17:2 And Saul
and the men of Israel were gathered together, and pitched by the valley of Elah, and set the battle in array against
the Philistines.
09-17:3 And the
Philistines stood on a mountain on the one side, and Israel stood on a mountain
on the other side: and there was a valley
between them.
09-17:19 Now Saul,
and they, and all the men of Israel, were in the valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines.
09-17:52 And the
men of Israel and of Judah arose, and shouted, and pursued the Philistines, until
thou come to the valley, and to the gates of
Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell down by the way to Shaaraim,
even unto Gath, and unto Ekron.
09-21:9 And the
priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the valley of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped in a
cloth behind the ephod: if thou wilt take that, take it: for there is
no other save that here. And David said, There is none like that;
give it me.
09-31:7 And when
the men of Israel that were on the other side of the valley, and they that were on the other
side Jordan, saw that the men of Israel fled, and that Saul and his sons were
dead, they forsook the cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in
them.
10-5:18 The
Philistines also came and spread themselves in the valley
of Rephaim.
10-5:22 And the
Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
10-8:13 And David
gat him a name when he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of salt, being eighteen thousand men.
10-23:13 And three
of the thirty chief went down, and came to David in the harvest time unto the
cave of Adullam: and the troop of the Philistines pitched in the valley of Rephaim.
12-2:16 And they said
unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men; let them go,
we pray thee, and seek thy master: lest peradventure the spirit of the LORD
hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send.
12-3:16 And he
said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full
of ditches.
12-3:17 For thus
saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink,
both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.
12-14:7 He slew
of Edom in the valley of salt ten thousand, and
took Selah by war, and called the name of it Joktheel unto this day.
12-23:10 And he
defiled Topheth, which is in the valley
of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to
pass through the fire to Molech.
13-4:14 And
Meonothai begat Ophrah: and Seraiah begat Joab, the father of the valley of Charashim; for they were craftsmen.
13-4:39 And they
went to the entrance of Gedor, even unto the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.
13-10:7 And when
all the men of Israel that were in the valley
saw that they fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, then they forsook
their cities, and fled: and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.
13-11:15 Now three
of the thirty captains went down to the rock to David, into the cave of
Adullam; and the host of the Philistines encamped in the valley of Rephaim.
13-14:9 And the
Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley
of Rephaim.
13-14:13 And the
Philistines yet again spread themselves abroad in the valley.
13-18:12 Moreover
Abishai the son of Zeruiah slew of the Edomites in the valley
of salt eighteen thousand.
14-14:10 Then Asa
went out against him, and they set the battle in array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.
14-20:26 And on the
fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley
of Berachah; for there they blessed the LORD: therefore the name of the same
place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto
this day.
14-25:11 And
Amaziah strengthened himself, and led forth his people, and went to the valley of salt, and smote of the children of Seir ten
thousand.
14-26:9 Moreover
Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning of the wall, and
fortified them.
14-28:3 Moreover
he burnt incense in the valley of the son of
Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the
heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.
14-33:6 And he
caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley
of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used
witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much
evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
14-33:14 Now after
this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in
the valley, even to the entering in at the fish
gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put
captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.
14-35:22 Nevertheless
Josiah would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself, that he might fight
with him, and hearkened not unto the words of Necho from the mouth of God, and
came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.
16-2:13 And I
went out by night by the gate of the valley,
even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of
Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with
fire.
16-2:15 Then went
I up in the night by the brook, and viewed the wall, and turned back, and
entered by the gate of the valley, and so returned.
16-3:13 The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of
Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the
bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.
16-11:30 Zanoah,
Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at
Azekah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beersheba unto
the valley of Hinnom.
16-11:35 Lod, and
Ono, the valley of craftsmen.
18-21:33 The clods
of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and every
man shall draw after him, as there are innumerable before him.
18-39:21 He paweth
in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength:
he goeth on to meet the armed men.
19-23:4 Yea,
though I walk through the valley of the shadow of
death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff
they comfort me.
19-60:title To the chief Musician upon
Shushaneduth, Michtam of David, to teach; when he strove with Aramnaharaim and
with Aramzobah, when Joab returned, and smote of Edom in the valley of salt twelve thousand.
19-60:6 God hath
spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the
valley of Succoth.
19-84:6 Who passing
through the valley of Baca make it a well; the
rain also filleth the pools.
19-108:7 God hath
spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the
valley of Succoth.
20-30:17 The eye that
mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the
ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the
young eagles shall eat it.
22-6:11 I went
down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley,
and to see whether the vine flourished, and the pomegranates
budded.
23-17:5 And it shall
be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his
arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley
of Rephaim.
23-22:1 The
burden of the valley of vision. What aileth thee
now, that thou art wholly gone up to the housetops?
23-22:5 For it
is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord
GOD of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking
down the walls, and of crying to the mountains.
23-28:4 And the
glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit
before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is
yet in his hand he eateth it up.
23-28:21 For the
LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the
valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his
strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
23-40:4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill
shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places
plain:
23-63:14 As a beast
goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the
LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a
glorious name.
23-65:10 And Sharon
shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of
Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
24-2:23 How canst
thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift
dromedary traversing her ways;
24-7:31 And they
have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and
their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it
into my heart.
24-7:32 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet,
nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet,
till there be no place.
24-19:2 And go
forth unto the valley of the son of Hinnom,
which is by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words
that I shall tell thee,
24-19:6 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that this place shall no more be called
Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but
The valley of slaughter.
24-21:13 Behold, I am
against thee, O inhabitant of the valley, and
rock of the plain, saith the LORD; which say, Who shall come down against
us? or who shall enter into our habitations?
24-31:40 And the
whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the
ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the
horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be
plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
24-32:35 And they
built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley
of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the
fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind,
that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
24-32:44 Men shall
buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take
witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in
the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of
the valley, and in the cities of the south: for
I will cause their captivity to return, saith the LORD.
24-47:5 Baldness
is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off with the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?
24-48:8 And the spoiler
shall come upon every city, and no city shall escape: the valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be
destroyed, as the LORD hath spoken.
24-49:4 Wherefore
gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley,
O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall
come unto me?
26-37:1 The hand
of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set
me down in the midst of the valley which was full
of bones,
26-37:2 And
caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many
in the open valley; and, lo, they were very
dry.
26-39:11 And it
shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there
of graves in Israel, the valley of the
passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the
passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall
call it The valley of Hamongog.
26-39:15 And the
passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s
bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the
valley of Hamongog.
28-1:5 And it
shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.
28-2:15 And I will
give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley
of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her
youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
29-3:2 I will
also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there
for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among
the nations, and parted my land.
29-3:12 Let the
heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of
Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
29-3:14 Multitudes,
multitudes in the valley of decision: for the
day of the LORD is near in the valley of
decision.
29-3:18 And it
shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new
wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall
flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and
shall water the valley of Shittim.
33-1:6 Therefore
I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a
vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
38-12:11 In that
day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of
Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
38-14:4 And his
feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before
Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst
thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very
great valley; and half of the mountain shall
remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
38-14:5 And ye
shall flee to the valley of the
mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall
reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake
in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all
the saints with thee.
42-3:5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill
shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough
ways shall be made smooth;

04-NUMBERS
04-24:6 As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the
river’s side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as
cedar trees beside the waters.
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-8:7 For the
LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of
fountains and depths that spring out of valleys
and hills;
05-11:11 But the
land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of
heaven:
06-9:1 And it
came to pass, when all the kings which were on this side Jordan, in the
hills, and in the valleys, and in all the coasts
of the great sea over against Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the
Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof;
06-12:8 In the
mountains, and in the valleys, and in the
plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south country;
the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites,
and the Jebusites:
11-20:28 And there
came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the
LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the hills, but
he is not God of the valleys, therefore
will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that
I am the LORD.
13-12:15 These are
they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflown all
his banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the
west.
13-27:29 And over
the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the
herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat
the son of Adlai:
18-30:6 To dwell
in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of
the earth, and in the rocks.
18-39:10 Canst thou
bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
19-65:13 The
pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys
also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.
19-104:8 They go up
by the mountains; they go down by the valleys
unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
19-104:10 He sendeth
the springs into the valleys, which run
among the hills.
22-2:1 I am the
rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.
23-7:19 And they
shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys,
and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.
23-22:7 And it
shall come to pass, that thy choicest valleys
shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall set themselves in array at
the gate.
23-28:1 Woe to the
crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a
fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys
of them that are overcome with wine!
23-41:18 I will
open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water,
and the dry land springs of water.
23-57:5 Enflaming
yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?
24-49:4 Wherefore
gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing
valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who
shall come unto me?
26-6:3 And say,
Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD
to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword
upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
26-7:16 But they
that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of
the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for
his iniquity.
26-31:12 And
strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him:
upon the mountains and in all the valleys his
branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land;
and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left
him.
26-32:5 And I
will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys
with thy height.
26-35:8 And I
will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that
are slain with the sword.
26-36:4 Therefore,
ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD
to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities
that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the
heathen that are round about;
26-36:6 Prophesy
therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the
hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury,
because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:
33-1:4 And the
mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys
shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured
down a steep place.
