02-24:4†††† And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
02-24:9†††† Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
02-24:12††† And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
02-24:13††† And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.
02-24:15††† And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
02-24:18††† And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
02-26:15††† And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up.
02-26:30††† And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount.
02-26:33††† And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.
02-29:27††† And thou shalt sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the heave offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of the consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons:
02-32:1†††† And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
02-32:4†††† And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
02-32:6†††† And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
02-32:8†††† They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
02-32:23††† For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
02-32:30††† And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.
02-33:1†††† And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:
02-33:3†††† Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.
02-33:5†††† For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.
02-33:8†††† And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.
02-33:10††† And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.
02-33:12††† And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
02-33:15††† And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
02-34:2†††† And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.
02-34:3†††† And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.
02-34:4†††† And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.
02-34:24††† For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.
02-35:21††† And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORDíS offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.
02-35:26††† And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goatsí hair.
02-36:2†††† And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:
02-36:20††† And he made boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood, standing up.
02-40:2†††† On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
02-40:8†††† And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.
02-40:17††† And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
02-40:18††† And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.
02-40:21††† And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.
02-40:28††† And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.
02-40:33††† And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.
02-40:36††† And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:
02-40:37††† But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
03-6:10†††† And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
03-9:22†††† And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.
03-11:45††† For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
03-13:4†††† If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:
03-13:5†††† And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:
03-13:11††† It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.
03-13:21††† But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
03-13:26††† But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
03-13:31††† And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:
03-13:33††† He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:
03-13:37††† But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
03-13:42††† And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.
03-13:50††† And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that hath the plague seven days:
03-13:54††† Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:
03-14:38††† Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:
03-14:46††† Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.
03-19:16††† Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.
03-19:32††† Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.
03-22:30††† On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD.
03-26:1†††† Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.
03-26:38††† And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
04-1:51†††† And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
04-6:26†††† The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
04-7:1††††† And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them;
04-9:15†††† And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning.
04-9:17†††† And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.
04-9:21†††† And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.
04-9:22†††† Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.
04-10:11††† And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.
04-10:21††† And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and the other did set up the tabernacle against they came.
04-10:35††† And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.
04-11:32††† And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
04-13:17††† And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain:
04-13:21††† So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.
04-13:30††† And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
04-13:31††† But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
04-13:32††† And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
04-14:1†††† And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.
04-14:13††† And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)
04-14:36††† And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land,
04-14:37††† Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the LORD.
04-14:40††† And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: for we have sinned.
04-14:42††† Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies.
04-14:44††† But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.
04-15:19††† Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the LORD.
04-15:20††† Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave it.
04-16:2†††† And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:
04-16:3†††† And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?
04-16:12††† And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:
04-16:13††† Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?
04-16:14††† Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
04-16:24††† Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
04-16:25††† And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
04-16:27††† So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.
04-16:30††† But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.
04-16:32††† And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
04-16:34††† And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.
04-16:37††† Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.
04-16:45††† Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.
04-17:4†††† And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.
04-17:7†††† And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.
04-18:26††† Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.
04-19:9†††† And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.
04-20:4†††† And why have ye brought up the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there?
04-20:5†††† And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.
04-20:11††† And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.
04-20:25††† Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor:
04-20:27††† And Moses did as the LORD commanded: and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.
04-21:3†††† And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.
04-21:5†††† And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
04-21:17††† Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:
04-21:33††† And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at Edrei.
04-22:4†††† And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time.
04-22:13††† And Balaam rose up in the morning, and said unto the princes of Balak, Get you into your land: for the LORD refuseth to give me leave to go with you.
04-22:14††† And the princes of Moab rose up, and they went unto Balak, and said, Balaam refuseth to come with us.
04-22:20††† And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.
04-22:21††† And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab.
04-22:41††† And it came to pass on the morrow, that Balak took Balaam, and brought him up into the high places of Baal, that thence he might see the utmost part of the people.
04-23:7†††† And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel.
04-23:18††† And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor:
04-23:24††† Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.
04-24:2†††† And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.
04-24:3†††† And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
04-24:8†††† God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.
04-24:9†††† He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.
04-24:15††† And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
04-24:20††† And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.
04-24:21††† And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock.
04-24:23††† And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this!
04-24:25††† And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.
04-25:4†††† And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.
04-25:7†††† And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
04-26:10††† And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.
04-27:12††† And the LORD said unto Moses, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel.
04-31:52††† And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.
04-32:9†††† For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.
04-32:11††† Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:
04-32:14††† And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathersí stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.
04-33:38††† And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.
05-1:21†††† Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.
05-1:22†††† And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said, We will send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bring us word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come.
05-1:24†††† And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and searched it out.
05-1:26†††† Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God:
05-1:28†††† Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.
05-1:41†††† Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against the LORD, we will go up and fight, according to all that the LORD our God commanded us. And when ye had girded on every man his weapons of war, ye were ready to go up into the hill.
05-1:42†††† And the LORD said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.
05-1:43†††† So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill.
05-2:13†††† Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.
05-2:24†††† Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
05-3:1††††† Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.
05-3:27†††† Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
05-4:19†††† And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
05-5:5††††† (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,
05-6:7††††† And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
05-8:14†††† Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;
05-9:1††††† Hear, O Israel: Thou art to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven,
05-9:9††††† When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water:
05-9:23†††† Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice.
05-10:1†††† At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood.
05-10:3†††† And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.
05-11:6†††† And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel:
05-11:17††† And then the LORDíS wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.
05-11:18††† Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
05-11:19††† And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
05-14:25††† Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:
05-14:28††† At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates:
05-16:22††† Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth.
05-17:8†††† If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which the LORD thy God shall choose;
05-17:20††† That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.
05-18:15††† The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
05-18:18††† I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
05-19:11††† But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities:
05-19:15††† One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
05-19:16††† If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;
05-20:1†††† When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
05-22:4†††† Thou shalt not see thy brotherís ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.
05-22:14††† And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:
05-22:19††† And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
05-23:14††† For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
05-24:5†††† When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.
05-25:7†††† And if the man like not to take his brotherís wife, then let his brotherís wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husbandís brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husbandís brother.
05-25:9†††† Then shall his brotherís wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brotherís house.
05-27:2†††† And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister:
05-27:4†††† Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.
05-27:5†††† And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.
05-28:7†††† The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
05-28:33††† The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:
05-28:43††† The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.
05-29:22††† So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it;
05-30:12††† It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
05-31:5†††† And the LORD shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which I have commanded you.
05-31:16††† And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.
05-32:11††† As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:
05-32:17††† They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
05-32:30††† How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?
05-32:34††† Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?
05-32:36††† For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.
05-32:38††† Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.
05-32:40††† For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
05-32:49††† Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:
05-32:50††† And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:
05-33:2†††† And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
05-34:1†††† And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,
06-2:6††††† But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.
06-2:8††††† And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;
06-2:10†††† For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.
06-3:6††††† And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.
06-3:16†††† That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.
06-4:5††††† And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of Jordan, and take you up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel:
06-4:8††††† And the children of Israel did so as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones out of the midst of Jordan, as the LORD spake unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them unto the place where they lodged, and laid them down there.
06-4:9††††† And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests which bare the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day.
06-4:16†††† Command the priests that bear the ark of the testimony, that they come up out of Jordan.
06-4:17†††† Joshua therefore commanded the priests, saying, Come ye up out of Jordan.
06-4:18†††† And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and the soles of the priestsí feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unto their place, and flowed over all his banks, as they did before.
06-4:19†††† And the people came up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, in the east border of Jericho.
06-4:23†††† For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:
06-5:1††††† And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.
06-5:7††††† And their children, whom he raised up in their stead, them Joshua circumcised: for they were uncircumcised, because they had not circumcised them by the way.
06-5:13†††† And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
06-6:1††††† Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.
06-6:5††††† And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ramís horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.
06-6:6††††† And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of ramsí horns before the ark of the LORD.
06-6:12†††† And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD.
06-6:20†††† So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
06-6:26†††† And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.
06-7:2††††† And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east side of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai.
06-7:3††††† And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let about two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few.
06-7:4††††† So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai.
06-7:10†††† And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face?
06-7:13†††† Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.
06-7:16†††† So Joshua rose up early in the morning, and brought Israel by their tribes; and the tribe of Judah was taken:
06-8:1††††† And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land:
06-8:3††††† So Joshua arose, and all the people of war, to go up against Ai: and Joshua chose out thirty thousand mighty men of valour, and sent them away by night.
06-8:7††††† Then ye shall rise up from the ambush, and seize upon the city: for the LORD your God will deliver it into your hand.
06-8:10†††† And Joshua rose up early in the morning, and numbered the people, and went up, he and the elders of Israel, before the people to Ai.
06-8:11†††† And all the people, even the people of war that were with him, went up, and drew nigh, and came before the city, and pitched on the north side of Ai: now there was a valley between them and Ai.
06-8:14†††† And it came to pass, when the king of Ai saw it, that they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city went out against Israel to battle, he and all his people, at a time appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that there were liers in ambush against him behind the city.
06-8:20†††† And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to flee this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers.
06-8:31†††† As Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD, and sacrificed peace offerings.
06-9:4††††† They did work wilily, and went and made as if they had been ambassadors, and took old sacks upon their asses, and wine bottles, old, and rent, and bound up;
06-10:4†††† Come up unto me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.
06-10:5†††† Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it.
06-10:6†††† And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.
06-10:9†††† Joshua therefore came unto them suddenly, and went up from Gilgal all night.
06-10:10††† And the LORD discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Bethhoron, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah.
06-10:12††† Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
06-10:33††† Then Horam king of Gezer came up to help Lachish; and Joshua smote him and his people, until he had left him none remaining.
06-10:36††† And Joshua went up from Eglon, and all Israel with him, unto Hebron; and they fought against it:
06-11:6†††† And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.
06-11:17††† Even from the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even unto Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.
06-12:7†††† And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;
06-14:8†††† Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God.
06-15:3†††† And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:
06-15:6†††† And the border went up to Bethhogla, and passed along by the north of Betharabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:
06-15:7†††† And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel:
06-15:8†††† And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
06-15:15††† And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher.
06-16:1†††† And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Bethel.
06-17:15††† And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.
06-18:1†††† And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.
06-18:11††† And the lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families: and the coast of their lot came forth between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.
06-18:12††† And their border on the north side was from Jordan; and the border went up to the side of Jericho on the north side, and went up through the mountains westward; and the goings out thereof were at the wilderness of Bethaven.
06-18:17††† And was drawn from the north, and went forth to Enshemesh, and went forth toward Geliloth, which is over against the going up of Adummim, and descended to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben,
06-19:10††† And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid:
06-19:11††† And their border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that is before Jokneam;
06-19:12††† And turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chislothtabor, and then goeth out to Daberath, and goeth up to Japhia.
06-19:47††† And the coast of the children of Dan went out too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.
06-20:5†††† And if the avenger of blood pursue after him, then they shall not deliver the slayer up into his hand; because he smote his neighbour unwittingly, and hated him not beforetime.
06-22:12††† And when the children of Israel heard of it, the whole congregation of the children of Israel gathered themselves together at Shiloh, to go up to war against them.
06-22:33††† And the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed God, and did not intend to go up against them in battle, to destroy the land wherein the children of Reuben and Gad dwelt.
06-24:17††† For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:
06-24:26††† And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.
06-24:32††† And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph.
07-1:1††††† Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them?
07-1:2††††† And the LORD said, Judah shall go up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand.
07-1:3††††† And Judah said unto Simeon his brother, Come up with me into my lot, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I likewise will go with thee into thy lot. So Simeon went with him.
07-1:4††††† And Judah went up; and the LORD delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten thousand men.
07-1:16†††† And the children of the Kenite, Mosesí father in law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people.
07-1:22†††† And the house of Joseph, they also went up against Bethel: and the LORD was with them.
07-1:36†††† And the coast of the Amorites was from the going up to Akrabbim, from the rock, and upward.
07-2:1††††† And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.
07-2:4††††† And it came to pass, when the angel of the LORD spake these words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept.
07-2:16†††† Nevertheless the LORD raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them.
07-2:18†††† And when the LORD raised them up judges, then the LORD was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented the LORD because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.
07-3:9††††† And when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, who delivered them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Calebís younger brother.
07-3:15†††† But when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised them up a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a man lefthanded: and by him the children of Israel sent a present unto Eglon the king of Moab.
07-4:5††††† And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.
07-4:10†††† And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.
07-4:12†††† And they shewed Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.
07-4:14†††† And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
07-6:3††††† And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;
07-6:5††††† For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.
07-6:8††††† That the LORD sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage;
07-6:13†††† And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
07-6:21†††† Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight.
07-6:35†††† And he sent messengers throughout all Manasseh; who also was gathered after him: and he sent messengers unto Asher, and unto Zebulun, and unto Naphtali; and they came up to meet them.
07-6:38†††† And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water.
07-7:1††††† Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod: so that the host of the Midianites were on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley.
07-8:8††††† And he went up thence to Penuel, and spake unto them likewise: and the men of Penuel answered him as the men of Succoth had answered him.
07-8:11†††† And Gideon went up by the way of them that dwelt in tents on the east of Nobah and Jogbehah, and smote the host: for the host was secure.
07-8:13†††† And Gideon the son of Joash returned from battle before the sun was up,
07-8:20†††† And he said unto Jether his firstborn, Up, and slay them. But the youth drew not his sword: for he feared, because he was yet a youth.
07-8:28†††† Thus was Midian subdued before the children of Israel, so that they lifted up their heads no more. And the country was in quietness forty years in the days of Gideon.
07-9:7††††† And when they told it to Jotham, he went and stood in the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.
07-9:18†††† And ye are risen up against my fatherís house this day, and have slain his sons, threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and have made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother;)

09-1:7††††† And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.

09-1:24†††† And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young.

09-2:7††††† The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
09-2:8††††† He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lordís, and he hath set the world upon them.
09-2:14†††† And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh, unto all the Israelites that came thither.

09-6:9††††† And see, if it goeth up by the way of his own coast to Bethshemesh, then he hath done us this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that smote us: it was a chance that happened to us.
09-6:10†††† And the men did so; and took two milch kine, and tied them to the cart, and shut up their calves at home:
09-6:13†††† And they of Bethshemesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley: and they lifted up their eyes, and saw the ark, and rejoiced to see it.

09-8:8††††† According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.
09-9:11†††† And as they went up the hill to the city, they found young maidens going out to draw water, and said unto them, Is the seer here?
09-9:13†††† As soon as ye be come into the city, ye shall straightway find him, before he go up to the high place to eat: for the people will not eat until he come, because he doth bless the sacrifice; and afterwards they eat that be bidden. Now therefore get you up; for about this time ye shall find him.
09-9:14†††† And they went up into the city: and when they were come into the city, behold, Samuel came out against them, for to go up to the high place.

09-9:24†††† And the cook took up the shoulder, and that which was upon it, and set it before Saul. And Samuel said, Behold that which is left! set it before thee, and eat: for unto this time hath it been kept for thee since I said, I have invited the people. So Saul did eat with Samuel that day.
09-9:26†††† And they arose early: and it came to pass about the spring of the day, that Samuel called Saul to the top of the house, saying, Up, that I may send thee away. And Saul arose, and they went out both of them, he and Samuel, abroad.
09-10:3†††† Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:
09-10:18††† And said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, and of them that oppressed you:

09-13:15††† And Samuel arose, and gat him up from Gilgal unto Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.
09-14:9†††† If they say thus unto us, Tarry until we come to you; then we will stand still in our place, and will not go up unto them.
09-14:10††† But if they say thus, Come up unto us; then we will go up: for the LORD hath delivered them into our hand: and this shall be a sign unto us.
09-14:12††† And the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armourbearer, and said, Come up to us, and we will shew you a thing. And Jonathan said unto his armourbearer, Come up after me: for the LORD hath delivered them into the hand of Israel.
09-14:13††† And Jonathan climbed up upon his hands and upon his feet, and his armourbearer after him: and they fell before Jonathan; and his armourbearer slew after him.
09-14:21††† Moreover the Hebrews that were with the Philistines before that time, which went up with them into the camp from the country round about, even they also turned to be with the Israelites that were with Saul and Jonathan.
09-14:46††† Then Saul went up from following the Philistines: and the Philistines went to their own place.
09-15:2†††† Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.
09-15:6†††† And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.
09-15:11††† It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.
09-15:12††† And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.
09-15:34††† Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.
09-16:13††† Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
09-17:20††† And David rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse had commanded him; and he came to the trench, as the host was going forth to the fight, and shouted for the battle.
09-17:23††† And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same words: and David heard them.
09-17:25††† And the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy Israel is he come up: and it shall be, that the man who killeth him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his fatherís house free in Israel.
09-19:15††† And Saul sent the messengers again to see David, saying, Bring him up to me in the bed, that I may slay him.
09-20:38††† And Jonathan cried after the lad, Make speed, haste, stay not. And Jonathanís lad gathered up the arrows, and came to his master.
09-21:12††† And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore afraid of Achish the king of Gath.
09-22:8†††† That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that sheweth me that my son hath made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or sheweth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
09-23:11††† Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.
09-23:12††† Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver thee up.
09-23:19††† Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself with us in strong holds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of Jeshimon?
09-23:29††† And David went up from thence, and dwelt in strong holds at Engedi.
09-24:7†††† So David stayed his servants with these words, and suffered them not to rise against Saul. But Saul rose up out of the cave, and went on his way.
09-24:16††† And it came to pass, when David had made an end of speaking these words unto Saul, that Saul said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And Saul lifted up his voice, and wept.
09-24:22††† And David sware unto Saul. And Saul went home; but David and his men gat them up unto the hold.
09-25:5†††† And David sent out ten young men, and David said unto the young men, Get you up to Carmel, and go to Nabal, and greet him in my name:
09-25:13††† And David said unto his men, Gird ye on every man his sword. And they girded on every man his sword; and David also girded on his sword: and there went up after David about four hundred men; and two hundred abode by the stuff.
09-25:35††† So David received of her hand that which she had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in peace to thine house; see, I have hearkened to thy voice, and have accepted thy person.
09-26:19††† Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if they be the children of men, cursed be they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.
09-27:8†††† And David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites: for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.
09-28:8†††† And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee.
09-28:11††† Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.
09-28:14††† And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.
09-28:15††† And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
09-28:25††† And she brought it before Saul, and before his servants; and they did eat. Then they rose up, and went away that night.
09-29:9†††† And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.
09-29:10††† Wherefore now rise up early in the morning with thy masterís servants that are come with thee: and as soon as ye be up early in the morning, and have light, depart.
09-29:11††† So David and his men rose up early to depart in the morning, to return into the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.
09-30:4†††† Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
10-2:1††††† And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.
10-2:2††††† So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabalís wife the Carmelite.
10-2:3††††† And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.
10-2:22†††† And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?
10-2:27†††† And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.
10-2:32†††† And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which was in Bethlehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.
10-3:10†††† To translate the kingdom from the house of Saul, and to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan even to Beersheba.
10-3:32†††† And they buried Abner in Hebron: and the king lifted up his voice, and wept at the grave of Abner; and all the people wept.
10-4:4††††† And Jonathan, Saulís son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth.
10-4:12†††† And David commanded his young men, and they slew them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged them up over the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth, and buried it in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.
10-5:8††††† And David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the Jebusites, and the lame and the blind, that are hated of Davidís soul, he shall be chief and captain. Wherefore they said, The blind and the lame shall not come into the house.
10-5:17†††† But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the hold.
10-5:19†††† And David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
10-5:22†††† And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
10-5:23†††† And when David enquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.
10-6:2††††† And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims.
10-6:12†††† And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.
10-6:15†††† So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
10-7:6††††† Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.
10-7:12†††† And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
10-12:3†††† But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.
10-12:11††† Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.
10-12:17††† And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.
10-13:29††† And the servants of Absalom did unto Amnon as Absalom had commanded. Then all the kingís sons arose, and every man gat him up upon his mule, and fled.
10-13:34††† But Absalom fled. And the young man that kept the watch lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came much people by the way of the hill side behind him.
10-13:36††† And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of speaking, that, behold, the kingís sons came, and lifted up their voice and wept: and the king also and all his servants wept very sore.
10-14:14††† For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any person: yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him.
10-15:2†††† And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was so, that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said, Of what city art thou? And he said, Thy servant is of one of the tribes of Israel.
10-15:20††† Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us? seeing I go whither I may, return thou, and take back thy brethren: mercy and truth be with thee.
10-15:24††† And lo Zadok also, and all the Levites were with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God: and they set down the ark of God; and Abiathar went up, until all the people had done passing out of the city.
10-15:30††† And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.
10-17:16††† Now therefore send quickly, and tell David, saying, Lodge not this night in the plains of the wilderness, but speedily pass over; lest the king be swallowed up, and all the people that are with him.
10-17:21††† And it came to pass, after they were departed, that they came up out of the well, and went and told king David, and said unto David, Arise, and pass quickly over the water: for thus hath Ahithophel counselled against you.
10-18:9†††† And Absalom met the servants of David. And Absalom rode upon a mule, and the mule went under the thick boughs of a great oak, and his head caught hold of the oak, and he was taken up between the heaven and the earth; and the mule that was under him went away.
10-18:18††† Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken and reared up for himself a pillar, which is in the kingís dale: for he said, I have no son to keep my name in remembrance: and he called the pillar after his own name: and it is called unto this day, Absalomís place.
10-18:24††† And David sat between the two gates: and the watchman went up to the roof over the gate unto the wall, and lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold a man running alone.
10-18:28††† And Ahimaaz called, and said unto the king, All is well. And he fell down to the earth upon his face before the king, and said, Blessed be the LORD thy God, which hath delivered up the men that lifted up their hand against my lord the king.
10-18:31††† And, behold, Cushi came; and Cushi said, Tidings, my lord the king: for the LORD hath avenged thee this day of all them that rose up against thee.
10-18:33††† And the king was much moved, and went up to the chamber over the gate, and wept: and as he went, thus he said, O my son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! would God I had died for thee, O Absalom, my son, my son!
10-19:34††† And Barzillai said unto the king, How long have I to live, that I should go up with the king unto Jerusalem?
10-20:2†††† So every man of Israel went up from after David, and followed Sheba the son of Bichri: but the men of Judah clave unto their king, from Jordan even to Jerusalem.
10-20:3†††† And David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the king took the ten women his concubines, whom he had left to keep the house, and put them in ward, and fed them, but went not in unto them. So they were shut up unto the day of their death, living in widowhood.
10-20:15††† And they came and besieged him in Abel of Bethmaachah, and they cast up a bank against the city, and it stood in the trench: and all the people that were with Joab battered the wall, to throw it down.
10-20:19††† I am one of them that are peaceable and faithful in Israel: thou seekest to destroy a city and a mother in Israel: why wilt thou swallow up the inheritance of the LORD?
10-20:20††† And Joab answered and said, Far be it, far be it from me, that I should swallow up or destroy.
10-20:21††† The matter is not so: but a man of mount Ephraim, Sheba the son of Bichri by name, hath lifted up his hand against the king, even against David: deliver him only, and I will depart from the city. And the woman said unto Joab, Behold, his head shall be thrown to thee over the wall.
10-21:6†††† Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, whom the LORD did choose. And the king said, I will give them.
10-21:8†††† But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite:
10-21:13††† And he brought up from thence the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son; and they gathered the bones of them that were hanged.
10-22:9†††† There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
10-22:40††† For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
10-22:49††† And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
10-23:1†††† Now these be the last words of David. David the son of Jesse said, and the man who was raised up on high, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel, said,
10-23:8†††† These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the same was Adino the Eznite: he lift up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time.
10-23:18††† And Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was chief among three. And he lifted up his spear against three hundred, and slew them, and had the name among three.
10-24:9†††† And Joab gave up the sum of the number of the people unto the king: and there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men that drew the sword; and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men.
10-24:11††† For when David was up in the morning, the word of the LORD came unto the prophet Gad, Davidís seer, saying,
10-24:18††† And Gad came that day to David, and said unto him, Go up, rear an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of Araunah the Jebusite.
10-24:19††† And David, according to the saying of Gad, went up as the LORD commanded.
10-24:22††† And Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him: behold, here be oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood.
11-1:35†††† Then ye shall come up after him, that he may come and sit upon my throne; for he shall be king in my stead: and I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and over Judah.
11-1:40†††† And all the people came up after him, and the people piped with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth rent with the sound of them.
11-1:45†††† And Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king in Gihon: and they are come up from thence rejoicing, so that the city rang again. This is the noise that ye have heard.
11-1:49†††† And all the guests that were with Adonijah were afraid, and rose up, and went every man his way.
11-2:19†††† Bathsheba therefore went unto king Solomon, to speak unto him for Adonijah. And the king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself unto her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set for the kingís mother; and she sat on his right hand.
11-2:34†††† So Benaiah the son of Jehoiada went up, and fell upon him, and slew him: and he was buried in his own house in the wilderness.
11-3:15†††† And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.
11-6:8††††† The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.
11-7:21†††† And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.
11-8:1††††† Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.
11-8:3††††† And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.
11-8:4††††† And they brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring up.
11-8:20†††† And the LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
11-8:35†††† When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:
11-8:54†††† And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.
11-9:16†††† For Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slain the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and given it for a present unto his daughter, Solomonís wife.
11-9:24†††† But Pharaohís daughter came up out of the city of David unto her house which Solomon had built for her: then did he build Millo.
11-10:5†††† And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
11-10:29††† And a chariot came up and went out of Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, did they bring them out by their means.
11-11:14††† And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the kingís seed in Edom.
11-11:15††† For it came to pass, when David was in Edom, and Joab the captain of the host was gone up to bury the slain, after he had smitten every male in Edom;
11-11:23††† And God stirred him up another adversary, Rezon the son of Eliadah, which fled from his lord Hadadezer king of Zobah:
11-11:26††† And Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda, Solomonís servant, whose motherís name was Zeruah, a widow woman, even he lifted up his hand against the king.
11-11:27††† And this was the cause that he lifted up his hand against the king: Solomon built Millo, and repaired the breaches of the city of David his father.
11-12:8†††† But he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him, and which stood before him:
11-12:10††† And the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my fatherís loins.
11-12:18††† Then king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the tribute; and all Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. Therefore king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
11-12:24††† Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD.
11-12:27††† If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah.
11-12:28††† Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
11-13:4†††† And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.
11-13:29††† And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.
11-14:10††† Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.
11-14:14††† Moreover the LORD shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but what? even now.
11-14:15††† For the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the LORD to anger.
11-14:16††† And he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who did sin, and who made Israel to sin.
11-14:25††† And it came to pass in the fifth year of king Rehoboam, that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem:

11-18:41††† And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
11-18:42††† So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,
11-18:43††† And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.
11-18:44††† And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a manís hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.
11-18:46††† And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

11-20:26††† And it came to pass at the return of the year, that Benhadad numbered the Syrians, and went up to Aphek, to fight against Israel.
11-20:33††† Now the men did diligently observe whether any thing would come from him, and did hastily catch it: and they said, Thy brother Benhadad. Then he said, Go ye, bring him. Then Benhadad came forth to him; and he caused him to come up into the chariot.

11-21:25††† But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.
11-22:6†††† Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
11-22:12††† And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the kingís hand.
11-22:20††† And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.
11-22:29††† So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead.
11-22:35††† And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.
11-22:38††† And one washed the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they washed his armour; according unto the word of the LORD which he spake.
12-1:3††††† But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?
12-1:4††††† Now therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed.
12-1:6††††† And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

12-1:13†††† And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.
12-1:14†††† Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.
12-1:16†††† And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.
12-2:1††††† And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.

12-2:16†††† And they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master: lest peradventure the spirit of the LORD hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send.
12-2:23†††† And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.
12-3:7††††† And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me: wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up: I am as thou art, my people as thy people, and my horses as thy horses.

12-4:34†††† And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm.

12-10:6†††† Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your masterís sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the kingís sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.

12-19:23††† By thy messengers thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.
12-19:24††† I have digged and drunk strange waters, and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of besieged places.
12-19:26††† Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the house tops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.
12-19:28††† Because thy rage against me and thy tumult is come up into mine ears, therefore I will put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.
12-20:5†††† Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

14-7:13†††† If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14-7:20†††† Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.

14-29:7†††† Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.
14-29:20††† Then Hezekiah the king rose early, and gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.
14-30:7†††† And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.
14-30:27††† Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.
14-32:5†††† Also he strengthened himself, and built up all the wall that was broken, and raised it up to the towers, and another wall without, and repaired Millo in the city of David, and made darts and shields in abundance.
14-32:25††† But Hezekiah rendered not again according to the benefit done unto him; for his heart was lifted up: therefore there was wrath upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem.
14-33:3†††† For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
14-33:14††† Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.
14-33:19††† His prayer also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sins, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.
14-34:30††† And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the priests, and the Levites, and all the people, great and small: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant that was found in the house of the LORD.
14-35:20††† After all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Necho king of Egypt came up to fight against Charchemish by Euphrates: and Josiah went out against him.
14-36:6†††† Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.
14-36:15††† And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:
14-36:22††† Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
14-36:23††† Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.
15-1:1††††† Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
15-1:3††††† Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.
15-1:5††††† Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.
15-1:11†††† All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.
15-2:1††††† Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;
15-2:59†††† And these were they which went up from Telmelah, Telharsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their fatherís house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
15-2:63†††† And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
15-2:68†††† And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place:
15-3:2††††† Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.
15-4:2††††† Then they came to Zerubbabel, and to the chief of the fathers, and said unto them, Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye do; and we do sacrifice unto him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assur, which brought us up hither.
15-4:12†††† Be it known unto the king, that the Jews which came up from thee to us are come unto Jerusalem, building the rebellious and the bad city, and have set up the walls thereof, and joined the foundations.
15-4:13†††† Be it known now unto the king, that, if this city be builded, and the walls set up again, then will they not pay toll, tribute, and custom, and so thou shalt endamage the revenue of the kings.
15-4:16†††† We certify the king that, if this city be builded again, and the walls thereof set up, by this means thou shalt have no portion on this side the river.
15-4:23†††† Now when the copy of king Artaxerxesí letter was read before Rehum, and Shimshai the scribe, and their companions, they went up in haste to Jerusalem unto the Jews, and made them to cease by force and power.
15-5:2††††† Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them.
15-5:3††††† At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai, and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?
15-5:9††††† Then asked we those elders, and said unto them thus, Who commanded you to build this house, and to make up these walls?
15-5:11†††† And thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up.
15-6:1††††† Then Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in the house of the rolls, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon.
15-6:11†††† Also I have made a decree, that whosoever shall alter this word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged thereon; and let his house be made a dunghill for this.
15-7:6††††† This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him.
15-7:7††††† And there went up some of the children of Israel, and of the priests, and the Levites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king.
15-7:9††††† For upon the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him.
15-7:13†††† I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee.
15-7:28†††† And hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counsellors, and before all the kingís mighty princes. And I was strengthened as the hand of the LORD my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me.
15-8:1††††† These are now the chief of their fathers, and this is the genealogy of them that went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king.
15-9:5††††† And at the evening sacrifice I arose up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the LORD my God,
15-9:6††††† And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens.
15-9:9††††† For we were bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.
15-10:6†††† Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away.
15-10:10††† And Ezra the priest stood up, and said unto them, Ye have transgressed, and have taken strange wives, to increase the trespass of Israel.
16-2:1††††† And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.
16-2:15†††† Then went I up in the night by the brook, and viewed the wall, and turned back, and entered by the gate of the valley, and so returned.
16-2:17†††† Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
16-2:18†††† Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the kingís words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
16-3:1††††† Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel.
16-3:3††††† But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
16-3:6††††† Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
16-3:13†††† The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.
16-3:14†††† But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
16-3:15†††† But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the kingís garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.
16-3:19†††† And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall.
16-3:31†††† After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmithís son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner.
16-3:32†††† And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
16-4:3††††† Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall.
16-4:7††††† But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth,
16-4:14†††† And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
16-5:2††††† For there were that said, We, our sons, and our daughters, are many: therefore we take up corn for them, that we may eat, and live.
16-6:1††††† Now it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;)
16-6:10†††† Afterward I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee.
16-7:1††††† Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
16-7:5††††† And my God put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein,
16-7:6††††† These are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;
16-7:61†††† And these were they which went up also from Telmelah, Telharesha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shew their fatherís house, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.
16-7:65†††† And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.
16-8:5††††† And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up:
16-8:6††††† And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground.
16-9:3††††† And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the LORD their God one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped the LORD their God.
16-9:4††††† Then stood up upon the stairs, of the Levites, Jeshua, and Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani, and Chenani, and cried with a loud voice unto the LORD their God.
16-9:5††††† Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, Stand up and bless the LORD your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.
16-9:18†††† Yea, when they had made them a molten calf, and said, This is thy God that brought thee up out of Egypt, and had wrought great provocations;
16-10:38††† And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.
16-12:1†††† Now these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
16-12:31††† Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:
16-12:37††† And at the fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.
17-2:7††††† And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncleís daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.
17-2:20†††† Esther had not yet shewed her kindred nor her people; as Mordecai had charged her: for Esther did the commandment of Mordecai, like as when she was brought up with him.
17-5:9††††† Then went Haman forth that day joyful and with a glad heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the kingís gate, that he stood not up, nor moved for him, he was full of indignation against Mordecai.
17-7:7††††† And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.
18-1:5††††† And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.
18-1:7††††† And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
18-1:16†††† While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
18-2:2††††† And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
18-2:12†††† And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.
18-3:8††††† Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning.
18-3:10†††† Because it shut not up the doors of my motherís womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes.
18-3:11†††† Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?
18-4:15†††† Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up:
18-5:5††††† Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance.
18-5:11†††† To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.
18-5:18†††† For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.
18-6:3††††† For now it would be heavier than the sand of the sea: therefore my words are swallowed up.
18-6:4††††† For the arrows of the Almighty are within me, the poison whereof drinketh up my spirit: the terrors of God do set themselves in array against me.
18-7:9††††† As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more.
18-8:11†††† Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water?
18-9:7††††† Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.
18-10:15††† If I be wicked, woe unto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;
18-10:18††† Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!
18-11:10††† If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
18-11:15††† For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:
18-11:20††† But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.
18-12:14††† Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.
18-12:15††† Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
18-13:19††† Who is he that will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
18-14:10††† But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
18-14:11††† As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:
18-14:17††† My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou sewest up mine iniquity.
18-15:30††† He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches, and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away.
18-16:4†††† I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soulís stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake mine head at you.
18-16:8†††† And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, which is a witness against me: and my leanness rising up in me beareth witness to my face.
18-16:12††† I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.
18-17:8†††† Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.
18-18:16††† His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
18-19:8†††† He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.
18-19:12††† His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.
18-20:6†††† Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;
18-20:15††† He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.
18-20:27††† The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.
18-21:19††† God layeth up his iniquity for his children: he rewardeth him, and he shall know it.
18-22:22††† Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
18-22:23††† If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
18-22:24††† Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.
18-22:26††† For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
18-22:29††† When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.
18-24:22††† He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.
18-26:8†††† He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
18-27:7†††† Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.
18-27:16††† Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
18-28:4†††† The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.
18-28:5†††† As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.
18-29:8†††† The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, and stood up.
18-30:4†††† Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat.
18-30:12††† Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.
18-30:20††† I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me not.
18-30:22††† Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance.
18-30:28††† I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation.
18-31:14††† What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him?
18-31:18††† (For from my youth he was brought up with me, as with a father, and I have guided her from my motherís womb;)
18-31:21††† If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the gate:
18-31:29††† If I rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him:
18-33:5†††† If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.
18-34:7†††† What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?
18-36:13††† But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.
18-37:7†††† He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.
18-37:20††† Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
18-38:3†††† Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
18-38:8†††† Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
18-38:10††† And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
18-38:34††† Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
18-39:4†††† Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them.
18-39:18††† What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.
18-39:27††† Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?
18-39:30††† Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.
18-40:7†††† Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
18-40:23††† Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
18-41:10††† None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
18-41:15††† His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
18-41:25††† When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
18-42:8†††† Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.
19-3:1††††† LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
19-3:3††††† But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
19-4:6††††† There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
19-5:3††††† My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
19-7:6††††† Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
19-9:13†††† Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
19-10:12††† Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
19-14:4†††† Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
19-15:3†††† He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
19-16:4†††† Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
19-17:5†††† Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.
19-17:7†††† Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.
19-18:8†††† There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
19-18:35††† Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
19-18:39††† For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
19-18:48††† He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
19-20:5†††† We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
19-21:9†††† Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
19-22:15††† My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
19-24:4†††† He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
19-24:7†††† Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
19-24:9†††† Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
19-25:1†††† Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
19-27:2†††† When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
19-27:5†††† For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
19-27:6†††† And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
19-27:10††† When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
19-27:12††† Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
19-28:2†††† Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.
19-28:5†††† Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.
19-28:9†††† Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
19-30:1†††† I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
19-30:3†††† O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
19-31:8†††† And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
19-31:19††† Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
19-33:7†††† He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
19-35:2†††† Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
19-35:11††† False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
19-35:23††† Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
19-35:25††† Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
19-39:6†††† Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.
19-40:2†††† He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
19-40:5†††† Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
19-40:12††† For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.

19-41:9†††† Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
19-41:10††† But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
19-44:5†††† Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
19-47:5†††† God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

19-56:1†††† Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.
19-56:2†††† Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.
19-57:3†††† He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.
19-57:8†††† Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
19-59:1†††† Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.
19-59:15††† Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.
19-63:4†††† Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
19-69:9†††† For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
19-69:15††† Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
19-69:29††† But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
19-71:6†††† By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my motherís bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.
19-71:20††† Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
19-74:3†††† Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.
19-74:4†††† Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.
19-74:5†††† A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
19-74:8†††† They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.
19-74:15††† Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.
19-74:23††† Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.
19-75:3†††† The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
19-75:4†††† I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
19-75:5†††† Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
19-75:7†††† But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
19-77:9†††† Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.
19-78:21††† Therefore the LORD heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;
19-78:38††† But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.
19-78:48††† He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.
19-80:2†††† Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.
19-81:3†††† Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.
19-81:12††† So I gave them up unto their own heartsí lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

23-28:7†††† But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
