T,418 together
01-1:9 And
God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together
unto one place, and let the dry land appear:
and it was so.
01-1:10 And
God called the dry land Earth; and
the gathering together of the waters called he
Seas: and God saw that it was good.
01-3:7 And
the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together,
and made themselves aprons.
01-13:6 And
the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they
could not dwell together.
01-14:3 All
these were joined together in the vale of
Siddim, which is the salt sea.
01-22:6 And
Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a
knife; and they went both of them together.
01-22:8 And
Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so
they went both of them together.
01-22:19 So
Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.
01-25:22 And
the children struggled together within her; and
she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of
the LORD.
01-29:7 And
he said, Lo, it is yet high day,
neither is it time that the cattle
should be gathered together: water ye the sheep,
and go and feed them.
01-29:8 And
they said, We cannot, until all the flocks be gathered together,
and till they roll the stone from the
well’s mouth; then we water the sheep.
01-29:22 And
Laban gathered together all the men of the
place, and made a feast.
01-34:30 And
Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among
the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather
themselves together against me, and slay me; and
I shall be destroyed, I and my house.
01-36:7 For
their riches were more than that they might dwell together;
and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their
cattle.
01-42:17 And
he put them all together into ward three days.
01-49:1 And
Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that
which shall befall you in the last days.
01-49:2 Gather
yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob;
and hearken unto Israel your father.
02-2:13 And
when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong,
Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow?
02-3:16 Go,
and gather the elders of Israel together, and
say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and
of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:
02-4:29 And
Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all
the elders of the children of Israel:
02-8:14 And
they gathered them together upon heaps: and the
land stank.
02-15:8 And
with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.
02-19:8 And
all the people answered together, and said, All
that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the
people unto the LORD.
02-21:18 And
if men strive together, and one smite another
with a stone, or with his fist, and he
die not, but keepeth his bed:
02-26:3 The
five curtains shall be coupled together one to
another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.
02-26:6 And
thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one
tabernacle.
02-26:11 And
thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and
couple the tent together, that it may be one.
02-26:24 And
they shall be coupled together beneath, and they
shall be coupled together above the head of it
unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two
corners.
02-28:7 It
shall have the two shoulder pieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and
so it shall be joined together.
02-30:35 And
thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary,
tempered together, pure and holy:
02-32:1 And
when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the
people gathered themselves together unto Aaron,
and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought
us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
02-32:26 Then
Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’S side? let
him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
02-35:1 And
Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath
commanded, that ye should do them.
02-36:18 And
he made fifty taches of brass to
couple the tent together, that it might be one.
02-36:29 And
they were coupled beneath, and coupled together
at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the
corners.
02-39:4 They
made shoulderpieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.
03-8:3 And
gather thou all the congregation together unto
the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
03-8:4 And
Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation.
03-24:10 And
the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son
of the Israelitish woman and a man of
Israel strove together in the camp;
03-26:25 And
I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence
among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
04-1:18 And
they assembled all the congregation together on
the first day of the second month,
and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their
fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and
upward, by their polls.
04-8:9 And
thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and
thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:
04-10:7 But
when the congregation is to be gathered together,
ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.
04-11:22 Shall
the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the
fish of the sea be gathered together for them,
to suffice them?
04-14:35 I
the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that
are gathered together against me: in this
wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.
04-16:3 And
they gathered themselves together against Moses
and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye
take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the
congregation of the LORD?
04-16:11 For
which cause both thou and all thy
company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?
04-20:2 And
there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.
04-20:8 Take
the rod, and gather thou the assembly together,
thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and
it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the
rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.
04-20:10 And
Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together
before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you
water out of this rock?
04-21:16 And
from thence they went to Beer: that is the well whereof the LORD spake unto
Moses, Gather the people together, and I will
give them water.
04-21:23 And
Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered
all his people together, and went out against
Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.
04-24:10 And
Balak’s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to
curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.
04-26:10 And
the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together
with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and
fifty men: and they became a sign.
04-27:3 Our
father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that
gathered themselves together against the LORD in
the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.
05-4:10 Specially the day that thou stoodest before
the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that
they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and
that they may teach their children.
05-22:10 Thou
shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.
05-22:11 Thou
shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as
of woollen and linen together.
05-25:5 If
brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and
have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger:
her husband’s brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and
perform the duty of an husband’s brother unto her.
05-25:11 When
men strive together one with another, and the
wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him
that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets:
05-31:12 Gather
the people together, men, and women, and
children, and thy stranger that is within
thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your
God, and observe to do all the words of this law:
05-33:5 And
he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.
05-33:17 His
glory is like the firstling of his
bullock, and his horns are like the
horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together
to the ends of the earth: and they are the
ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the
thousands of Manasseh.
06-8:16 And
all the people that were in Ai were
called together to pursue after them: and they
pursued after Joshua, and were drawn away from the city.
06-9:2 That
they gathered themselves together, to fight with
Joshua and with Israel, with one accord.
06-10:5 Therefore
the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the
king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and
encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it.
06-10:6 And
the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy
hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for
all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.
06-11:5 And
when all these kings were met together, they
came and pitched together at the waters of
Merom, to fight against Israel.
06-17:10 Southward
it was Ephraim’s, and northward it was Manasseh’s, and the sea is his
border; and they met together in Asher on the
north, and in Issachar on the east.
06-18:1 And
the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the
congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.
06-22:12 And
when the children of Israel heard of it, the
whole congregation of the children of Israel gathered themselves together at Shiloh, to go up to war against them.
07-4:13 And
Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and
all the people that were with him,
from Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon.
07-6:33 Then
all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the children of the east were gathered
together, and went over, and pitched in the
valley of Jezreel.
07-6:38 And
it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a
bowl full of water.
07-7:23 And
the men of Israel gathered themselves together
out of Naphtali, and out of Asher, and out of all Manasseh, and pursued after
the Midianites.
07-7:24 And
Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount Ephraim, saying, Come down against
the Midianites, and take before them the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan. Then
all the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together,
and took the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan.
07-9:6 And
all the men of Shechem gathered together, and all
the house of Millo, and went, and made Abimelech king, by the plain of the
pillar that was in Shechem.
07-9:47 And
it was told Abimelech, that all the men of the tower of Shechem were gathered together.
07-10:17 Then
the children of Ammon were gathered together,
and encamped in Gilead. And the children of Israel assembled themselves together, and encamped in Mizpeh.
07-11:20 But
Sihon trusted not Israel to pass through his coast: but Sihon gathered all his
people together, and pitched in Jahaz, and
fought against Israel.
07-12:1 And
the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together,
and went northward, and said unto Jephthah, Wherefore passedst thou over to
fight against the children of Ammon, and didst not call us to go with thee? we
will burn thine house upon thee with fire.
07-12:4 Then
Jephthah gathered together all the men of
Gilead, and fought with Ephraim: and the men of Gilead smote Ephraim, because
they said, Ye Gileadites are fugitives
of Ephraim among the Ephraimites, and among
the Manassites.
07-16:23 Then
the lords of the Philistines gathered them together
for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they
said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.
07-18:22 And when they were a good way from the
house of Micah, the men that were in
the houses near to Micah’s house were gathered together,
and overtook the children of Dan.
07-19:6 And
they sat down, and did eat and drink both of them together:
for the damsel’s father had said unto the man, Be content, I pray thee, and
tarry all night, and let thine heart be merry.
07-19:29 And
when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his
concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and
sent her into all the coasts of Israel.
07-20:1 Then
all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was gathered together as one man, from Dan even to Beersheba, with
the land of Gilead, unto the LORD in Mizpeh.
07-20:11 So
all the men of Israel were gathered against the city, knit together as one man.
07-20:14 But
the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together
out of the cities unto Gibeah, to go out to battle against the children of
Israel.
09-5:11 So
they sent and gathered together all the lords of
the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it
go again to his own place, that it slay us not, and our people: for there was a
deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy
there.
09-7:6 And
they gathered together to Mizpeh, and drew
water, and poured it out before the
LORD, and fasted on that day, and said there, We have sinned against the LORD.
And Samuel judged the children of Israel in Mizpeh.
09-7:7 And
when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went
up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were afraid of the Philistines.
09-8:4 Then
all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together,
and came to Samuel unto Ramah,
09-10:17 And
Samuel called the people together unto the LORD
to Mizpeh;
09-11:11 And
it was so on the morrow, that Saul
put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the host in
the morning watch, and slew the Ammonites until the heat of the day: and it
came to pass, that they which remained were scattered, so that two of them were
not left together.
09-13:4 And
all Israel heard say that Saul had smitten
a garrison of the Philistines, and that Israel
also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal.
09-13:5 And
the Philistines gathered themselves together to
fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and
people as the sand which is on the
sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward
from Bethaven.
09-13:11 And
Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people
were scattered from me, and that thou
camest not within the days appointed, and that
the Philistines gathered themselves together
at Michmash;
09-15:4 And
Saul gathered the people together, and numbered
them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah.
09-17:1 Now
the Philistines gathered together their armies
to battle, and were gathered together at
Shochoh, which belongeth to Judah,
and pitched between Shochoh and Azekah, in Ephesdammim.
09-17:2 And
Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together,
and pitched by the valley of Elah, and set the battle in array against the
Philistines.
09-17:10 And
the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that
we may fight together.
09-23:8 And
Saul called all the people together to war, to
go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.
09-25:1 And
Samuel died; and all the Israelites were gathered together,
and lamented him, and buried him in his house at Ramah. And David arose, and
went down to the wilderness of Paran.
09-28:1 And
it came to pass in those days, that the Philistines gathered their armies together for warfare, to fight with Israel. And Achish
said unto David, Know thou assuredly, that thou shalt go out with me to battle,
thou and thy men.
09-28:4 And
the Philistines gathered themselves together,
and came and pitched in Shunem: and Saul gathered all Israel together, and they pitched in Gilboa.
09-28:23 But
he refused, and said, I will not eat. But his servants, together with the woman, compelled him; and he hearkened unto their
voice. So he arose from the earth, and sat upon the bed.
09-29:1 Now
the Philistines gathered together all their
armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel.
09-31:6 So
Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same
day together.
10-2:13 And
Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the
one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.
10-2:16 And
they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow’s side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called
Helkathhazzurim, which is in Gibeon.
10-2:25 And
the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together
after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill.
10-2:30 And
Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David’s servants nineteen
men and Asahel.

David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel,
thirty thousand.

when the Syrians saw that they were smitten before Israel, they gathered
themselves together.
10-10:17 And
when it was told David, he gathered all Israel together,
and passed over Jordan, and came to Helam. And the Syrians set themselves in
array against David, and fought with him.
10-12:3 But
the poor man had nothing, save one
little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat
of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto
him as a daughter.
10-12:28 Now
therefore gather the rest of the people together,
and encamp against the city, and take it: lest I take the city, and it be
called after my name.
10-12:29 And
David gathered all the people together, and went
to Rabbah, and fought against it, and took it.
10-14:6 And
thy handmaid had two sons, and they two strove together
in the field, and there was none to
part them, but the one smote the other, and slew him.
10-14:16 For
the king will hear, to deliver his handmaid out of the hand of the man that would destroy me and my son together out of the inheritance of God.
10-20:14 And
he went through all the tribes of Israel unto Abel, and to Bethmaachah, and all
the Berites: and they were gathered together,
and went also after him.
10-21:9 And
he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the
hill before the LORD: and they fell all seven
together, and were put to death in the days of
harvest, in the first days, in the
beginning of barley harvest.
10-23:9 And
after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo
the Ahohite, one of the three mighty
men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to
battle, and the men of Israel were gone away:
10-23:11 And
after him was Shammah the son of Agee
the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together
into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled
from the Philistines.
11-3:18 And
it came to pass the third day after that I was delivered, that this woman was
delivered also: and we were together; there
was no stranger with us in the house, save we two in the house.
11-5:12 And
the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between
Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together.
11-10:26 And
Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen:
and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen,
whom he bestowed in the cities for chariots, and with the king at Jerusalem.
11-11:1 But
king Solomon loved many strange women, together
with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites,
Zidonians, and Hittites;
11-18:20 So
Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel.

warred against it.
11-22:6 Then

about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to
battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
12-2:8 And
Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided
hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.
12-3:10 And
the king of Israel said, Alas! that the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab!
12-3:13 And
Elisha said unto the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? get thee to
the prophets of thy father, and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of
Israel said unto him, Nay: for the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab.
12-9:25 Then
said Jehu to Bidkar his captain, Take
up, and cast him in the portion of
the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how that, when I and thou rode
together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid
this burden upon him;
12-10:18 And
Jehu gathered all the people together, and said
unto them, Ahab served Baal a little; but
Jehu shall serve him much.
13-10:6 So
Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house died together.
13-11:13 He
was with David at Pasdammim, and there the Philistines were gathered together to battle, where was a parcel of ground full

David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor
of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from
Kirjathjearim.
13-15:3 And
David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem,
to bring up the ark of the LORD unto his place, which he had prepared for it.

say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together,
and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.

they hired thirty and two thousand chariots, and the king of Maachah and his people;
who came and pitched before Medeba. And the children of Ammon gathered
themselves together from their cities, and came
to battle.
13-22:2 And
David commanded to gather together the strangers
that were in the land of Israel; and
he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of God.
13-23:2 And
he gathered together all the princes of Israel,
with the priests and the Levites.
14-12:5 Then
came Shemaiah the prophet to Rehoboam, and to
the princes of Judah, that were gathered together
to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Ye
have forsaken me, and therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak.
14-15:10 So
they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem
in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.
14-18:5 Therefore
the king of Israel gathered together of prophets
four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or
shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for God will deliver it into the king’s hand.
14-20:4 And
Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the LORD: even out of all the
cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.
14-24:5 And
he gathered together the priests and the
Levites, and said to them, Go out unto the cities of Judah, and gather of all
Israel money to repair the house of your God from year to year, and see that ye
hasten the matter. Howbeit the Levites hastened it not.
14-25:5 Moreover
Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them
captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the houses of
their fathers, throughout all Judah
and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and above, and found
them three hundred thousand choice men,
able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.
14-28:24 And
Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house
of God, and cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and shut up the
doors of the house of the LORD, and he made him altars in every corner of
Jerusalem.
14-29:4 And
he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street,
14-30:3 For
they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified
themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
14-32:4 So
there was gathered much people together, who
stopped all the fountains, and the brook that ran through the midst of the
land, saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come, and find much water?
14-32:6 And
he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together to him in the street of the gate of the city,
and spake comfortably to them, saying,
14-34:17 And
they have gathered together the money that was
found in the house of the LORD, and have delivered it into the hand of the
overseers, and to the hand of the workmen.
14-34:29 Then
the king sent and gathered together all the
elders of Judah and Jerusalem.
15-2:64 The
whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,
15-3:1 And
when the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered
themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.
15-3:9 Then
stood Jeshua with his sons and his
brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, together,
to set forward the workmen in the house of God: the sons of Henadad, with their sons and their brethren the
Levites.
15-3:11 And
they sang together by course in praising and
giving thanks unto the LORD; because he
is good, for his mercy endureth for
ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they
praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.
15-4:3 But
Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel,
said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build an house unto our God;
but we ourselves together will build unto the
LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us.
15-6:20 For
the priests and the Levites were purified together,
all of them were pure, and killed the
passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the
priests, and for themselves.
15-7:28 And
hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counsellors, and before
all the king’s mighty princes. And I was strengthened as the hand of the LORD
my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me.
15-8:15 And
I gathered them together to the river that
runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the
people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi.
15-10:7 And
they made proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem unto all the children of
the captivity, that they should gather themselves together
unto Jerusalem;
15-10:9 Then
all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together
unto Jerusalem within three days. It was the
ninth month, on the twentieth day of
the month; and all the people sat in the street of the house of God, trembling
because of this matter, and for the
great rain.
16-4:6 So
built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together
unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.
16-4:8 And
conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to
hinder it.
16-6:2 That
Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some
one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me
mischief.
16-6:7 And
thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall
it be reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and
let us take counsel together.
16-6:10 Afterward
I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who
was shut up; and he said, Let us meet
together in the house of God, within the temple,
and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea,
in the night will they come to slay thee.
16-7:5 And
my God put into mine heart to gather together the
nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by
genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the
first, and found written therein,
16-7:66 The
whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,
16-8:1 And
all the people gathered themselves together as
one man into the street that was before
the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the
law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.
16-8:13 And
on the second day were gathered together the
chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra
the scribe, even to understand the words of the law.
16-12:28 And
the sons of the singers gathered themselves together,
both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of
Netophathi;
16-13:11 Then
contended I with the rulers, and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I
gathered them together, and set them in their
place.
17-2:3 And
let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they
may gather together all the fair young virgins
unto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women, unto the custody of Hege
the king’s chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their things for
purification be given them:
17-2:8 So
it came to pass, when the king’s commandment and his decree was heard, and when
many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan
the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the
king’s house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.
17-2:19 And
when the virgins were gathered together the
second time, then Mordecai sat in the king’s gate.
17-4:16 Go,
gather together all the Jews that are present in
Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or
day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the
king, which is not according to the
law: and if I perish, I perish.
17-8:11 Wherein
the king granted the Jews which were in
every city to gather themselves together, and to
stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the
power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to
take the spoil of them for a prey,
17-9:2 The
Jews gathered themselves together in their
cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such
as sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them
fell upon all people.
17-9:15 For
the Jews that were in Shushan
gathered themselves together on the fourteenth
day also of the month Adar, and slew three hundred men at Shushan; but on the
prey they laid not their hand.
17-9:16 But
the other Jews that were in the
king’s provinces gathered themselves together,
and stood for their lives, and had rest from their enemies, and slew of their
foes seventy and five thousand, but they laid not their hands on the prey,
17-9:18 But
the Jews that were at Shushan
assembled together on the thirteenth day thereof, and on the fourteenth
thereof; and on the fifteenth day of
the same they rested, and made it a day of feasting and gladness.
18-2:11 Now
when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they
came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the
Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.
18-3:18 There the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor.
18-6:2 Oh
that my grief were throughly weighed, and my calamity laid in the balances together!
18-9:32 For
he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment.
18-10:8 Thine
hands have made me and fashioned me together
round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
18-11:10 If
he cut off, and shut up, or gather together,
then who can hinder him?
18-16:10 They
have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek
reproachfully; they have gathered themselves together
against me.
18-17:16 They
shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our
rest together is in the dust.
18-19:12 His
troops come together, and raise up their way
against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.
18-24:4 They
turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
18-30:7 Among
the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together.
18-34:15 All
flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn
again unto dust.
18-38:7 When
the morning stars sang together, and all the
sons of God shouted for joy?
18-38:38 When
the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?
18-40:13 Hide
them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.
18-40:17 He
moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
18-41:15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
18-41:17 They
are joined one to another, they stick together,
that they cannot be sundered.
18-41:23 The
flakes of his flesh are joined together: they
are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
19-2:2 The
kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
19-14:3 They
are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
19-31:13 For
I have heard the slander of many: fear was
on every side: while they took counsel together
against me, they devised to take away my life.
19-33:7 He
gathereth the waters of the sea together as an
heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
19-34:3 O
magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
19-35:15 But
in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the
abjects gathered themselves together against me,
and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:
19-35:26 Let
them be ashamed and brought to confusion together
that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that
magnify themselves against me.
19-37:38 But
the transgressors shall be destroyed together:
the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
19-40:14 Let
them be ashamed and confounded together that
seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame
that wish me evil.
19-41:7 All
that hate me whisper together against me:
against me do they devise my hurt.
19-47:9 The
princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham:
for the shields of the earth belong unto
God: he is greatly exalted.
19-48:4 For,
lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
19-49:2 Both
low and high, rich and poor, together.
19-50:5 Gather
my saints together unto me; those that have made
a covenant with me by sacrifice.
19-55:14 We
took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in
company.
19-56:6 They
gather themselves together, they hide
themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.
19-71:10 For
mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
19-74:8 They
said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together:
they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.
19-83:5 For
they have consulted together with one consent:
they are confederate against thee:
19-85:10 Mercy
and truth are met together; righteousness and
peace have kissed each other.
19-88:17 They
came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together.
19-94:21 They
gather themselves together against the soul of
the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
19-98:8 Let
the floods clap their hands: let the
hills be joyful together
19-102:22 When
the people are gathered together, and the
kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
19-104:22 The
sun ariseth, they gather themselves together,
and lay them down in their dens.
19-122:3 Jerusalem
is builded as a city that is compact together:
19-133:1 Behold,
how good and how pleasant it is for
brethren to dwell together in unity!
19-140:2 Which
imagine mischiefs in their heart;
continually are they gathered together for war.
19-147:2 The
LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together
the outcasts of Israel.
20-22:2 The
rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all.
20-29:13 The
poor and the deceitful man meet together: the
LORD lighteneth both their eyes.
21-3:5 A
time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
21-4:5 The
fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his
own flesh.
21-4:11 Again,
if two lie together, then they have heat: but
how can one be warm alone?
23-1:18 Come
now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:
though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be
red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
23-1:28 And
the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that
forsake the LORD shall be consumed.
23-1:31 And
the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both
burn together, and none shall quench them.
23-8:10 Take
counsel together, and it shall come to nought;
speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
23-9:11 Therefore
the LORD shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his
enemies together;
23-9:21 Manasseh,
Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they
together shall
be against Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
23-11:6 The
wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the
kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
and a little child shall lead them.
23-11:7 And
the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
23-11:12 And
he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of
Israel, and gather together the dispersed of
Judah from the four corners of the earth.
23-11:14 But
they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they
shall spoil them of the east together: they
shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey
them.
23-13:4 The
noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous
noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together:
the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.
23-18:6 They
shall be left together unto the fowls of the
mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon
them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
23-22:3 All
thy rulers are fled together, they are bound by
the archers: all that are found in thee are bound together,
which have fled from far.
23-22:9 Ye
have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and ye
gathered together the waters of the lower pool.
23-24:22 And
they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit,
and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23-25:11 And
he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth
spreadeth forth his hands to swim:
and he shall bring down their pride together
with the spoils of their hands.
23-26:19 Thy
dead men shall live, together with
my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for
thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and
the earth shall cast out the dead.
23-27:4 Fury
is not in me: who would set the
briers and thorns against me in
battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.
23-31:3 Now
the Egyptians are men, and not God;
and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his
hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down,
and they all shall fail together.
23-34:4 And
all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall
down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
23-40:5 And
the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together:
for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
23-41:1 Keep
silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us
come near together to judgment.
23-41:19 I
will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and
the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together:
23-41:20 That
they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together,
that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath
created it.
23-41:23 Shew
the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that
we may be dismayed, and behold it together.
23-43:9 Let
all the nations be gathered together, and let
the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things?
let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them
hear, and say, It is truth.
23-43:17 Which
bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie
down together, they shall not rise: they are
extinct, they are quenched as tow.
23-43:26 Put
me in remembrance: let us plead together:
declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
23-44:11 Behold,
all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together,
let them stand up; yet they shall
fear, and they shall be ashamed together.
23-45:8 Drop
down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let
the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness
spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
23-45:16 They
shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that
are makers of idols.
23-45:20 Assemble
yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they
have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a
god that cannot save.
23-45:21 Tell
ye, and bring them near; yea, let
them take counsel together: who hath declared
this from ancient time? who hath told
it from that time? have not I the
LORD? and there is no God else beside
me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none
beside me.
23-46:2 They
stoop, they bow down together; they could not
deliver the burden, but themselves are gone into captivity.
23-48:13 Mine
hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned
the heavens: when I call unto them,
they stand up together.
23-49:18 Lift
up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come
to thee. As I live, saith the LORD,
thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them
on thee, as a bride doeth.
23-50:8 He is near that justifieth me; who will
contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to
me.
23-52:8 Thy
watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together
shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again
Zion.
23-52:9 Break
forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places
of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed
Jerusalem.
23-54:15 Behold,
they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
23-60:4 Lift
up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from
far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy
side.
23-60:5 Then
thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine
heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be
converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
23-60:7 All
the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together
unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up
with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
23-60:13 The
glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box
together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary;
and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
23-62:9 But
they that have gathered it shall eat it and praise the LORD; and they that have
brought it together shall drink it in the courts
of my holiness.
23-65:7 Your
iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together,
saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me
upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
23-65:25 The
wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the
lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all
my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
23-66:17 They
that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh,
and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together,
saith the LORD.
24-3:18 In
those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they
shall come together out of the land of the north
to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.
24-4:5 Declare
ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the
land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble
yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.
24-6:11 Therefore
I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it
out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be
taken, the aged with him that is full
of days.
24-6:12 And
their houses shall be turned unto others, with
their fields and wives together: for I will
stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD.
24-6:21 Therefore
thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and
the fathers and the sons together shall fall
upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.
24-13:14 And
I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor
have mercy, but destroy them.
24-31:8 Behold,
I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of
the earth, and with them the blind
and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.
24-31:12 Therefore
they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and
for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and
their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at
all.
24-31:13 Then
shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and
will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
24-31:24 And
there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
24-41:1 Now
it came to pass in the seventh month, that
Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, and
the princes of the king, even ten men with him, came unto Gedaliah the son of
Ahikam to Mizpah; and there they did eat bread together
in Mizpah.
24-46:12 The
nations have heard of thy shame, and thy cry hath filled the land: for the
mighty man hath stumbled against the mighty, and they are fallen both together.
24-46:21 Also
her hired men are in the midst of her
like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back, and are fled away together: they did
not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon them, and the time of their visitation.
24-48:7 For
because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou shalt also be
taken: and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity with his priests and his princes together.
24-49:3 Howl,
O Heshbon, for Ai is spoiled: cry, ye daughters of Rabbah, gird you with
sackcloth; lament, and run to and fro by the hedges; for their king shall go
into captivity, and his priests and
his princes together.
24-49:14 I
have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying, Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the
battle.
24-50:4 In
those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall
come, they and the children of Judah together,
going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.
24-50:29 Call
together the archers against Babylon: all ye
that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape:
recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do
unto her: for she hath been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of
Israel.
24-50:33 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together:
and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.
24-51:27 Set
ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the
nations against her, call together against her
the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her;
cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillars.
24-51:38 They
shall roar together like lions: they shall yell
as lions’ whelps.

LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath

26-21:14 Thou
therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine
hands together, and let the sword be doubled
the third time, the sword of the slain: it is

which entereth into their privy chambers.
26-21:17 I
will also smite mine hands together, and I will
cause my fury to rest: I the LORD have said it.
26-29:5 And
I will leave thee thrown into the
wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open
fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor
gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the
fowls of the heaven.

I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and

the whole earth.

Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together

the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being

these presidents and princes assembled together
to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.

the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors,
and the captains, have consulted together to
establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask
a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be
cast into the den of lions.
27-11:6 And
in the end of years they shall join themselves together;
for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to

he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her,
and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.

shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall
I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my
repentings are kindled together.
29-3:11 Assemble
yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to
come down, O LORD.

their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together,
saith the LORD.
30-3:3 Can
two walk together, except they be agreed?
33-2:12 I
will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of
Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of
Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by
reason of the multitude of men.
34-1:10 For
while they be folden together as thorns,
and while they are drunken as drunkards,
they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.
34-2:10 She
is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness.

yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;

in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that
burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the
earth be gathered together against it.

Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round
about shall be gathered together, gold, and
silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the
shore.

both grow together until the harvest: and in the
time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together
first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat
into my barn.
40-18:20 For
where two or three are gathered together in my
name, there am I in the midst of them.

40-22:41 While
the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus
asked them,
40-23:37 O
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that
killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often
would I have gathered thy children together,
even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her
wings, and ye would not!
40-24:28 For
wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
40-24:31 And
he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather
together his elect from the four winds, from one
end of heaven to the other.
40-26:3 Then
assembled together the chief priests, and the
scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who
was called Caiaphas,
40-27:17 Therefore
when they were gathered together, Pilate said
unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is
called Christ?
40-27:62 Now
the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and
Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
41-1:33 And
all the city was gathered together at the door.
41-2:2 And
straightway many were gathered together,
insomuch that there was no room to receive them,
no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.

cities, and outwent them, and came together unto
him.

came together unto him the Pharisees, and
certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.

Jesus saw that the people came running together,

enter no more into him.

therefore God hath joined together, let not man
put asunder.

one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them
well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
41-13:27 And
then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together
his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost
part of heaven.
41-14:56 For
many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.

neither so did their witness agree together.

the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.

infirmities.

and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your
bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to
you again.
42-8:4 And

the mean time, when there were gathered together
an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another,
he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the
Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
42-13:11 And,
behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and
was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up
herself.
42-13:34 O
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are
sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth
gather her brood under her wings,
and ye would not!
42-15:6 And
when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto
them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them,
Wheresoever the body is, thither will
the eagles be gathered together.
42-22:55 And
when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.
42-22:66 And
as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the
scribes came together, and led him into their
council, saying,
42-23:12 And
the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together:
for before they were at enmity between themselves.
42-23:13 And
Pilate, when he had called together the chief
priests and the rulers and the people,
42-23:48 And
all the people that came together to that sight,
beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.
42-24:14 And
they talked together of all these things which
had happened.
42-24:15 And

and went with them.
42-24:33 And
they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven
gathered together, and them that were with them,
43-4:36 And
he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that
both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
43-6:13 Therefore
they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments
of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had
eaten.
43-11:52 And
not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were
scattered abroad.
43-11:53 Then
from that day forth they took counsel together
for to put him to death.
43-20:4 So
they ran both together: and the other disciple
did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
43-20:7 And
the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but
wrapped together in a place by itself.
43-21:2 There
were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called
Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
44-1:4 And,
being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should
not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
44-1:6 When
they therefore were come together, they asked of
him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
44-1:15 And
in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the
number of names together were about an hundred
and twenty,)
44-2:6 Now
when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together,
and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own
language.
44-2:44 And
all that believed were together, and had all
things common;
44-3:1 Now
Peter and John went up together into the temple
at the hour of prayer, being the
ninth hour.
44-3:11 And
as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called
Solomon’s, greatly wondering.
44-4:6 And
Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as
were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together
at Jerusalem.
44-4:26 The
kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
44-4:27 For
of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod,
and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
44-4:31 And
when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy
Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
44-5:9 Then
Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together
to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy
husband are at the door, and shall
carry thee out.
44-5:21 And
when they heard that, they entered
into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and
they that were with him, and called the council together,
and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have
them brought.
44-10:24 And
the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and
had called together his kinsmen and near
friends.
44-10:27 And
as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.
44-12:12 And
when he had considered the thing, he
came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where
many were gathered together praying.
44-13:44 And
the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together
to hear the word of God.
44-14:1 And
it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together
into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of
the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.
44-14:27 And
when they were come, and had gathered the church together,
they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door
of faith unto the Gentiles.
44-15:6 And
the apostles and elders came together for to
consider of this matter.
44-15:30 So
when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the
multitude together, they delivered the epistle:
44-16:22 And
the multitude rose up together against them: and
the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.
44-19:19 Many
of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them,
and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
44-19:25 Whom
he called together with the workmen of like
occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.
44-19:32 Some
therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and
the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.
44-20:7 And
upon the first day of the week, when
the disciples came together to break bread, Paul
preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech
until midnight.
44-20:8 And
there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.
44-21:22 What
is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together:
for they will hear that thou art come.
44-21:30 And
all the city was moved, and the people ran together:
and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were
shut.
44-23:12 And
when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together,
and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor
drink till they had killed Paul.
44-28:17 And
it came to pass, that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together: and when they were come together, he said unto them, Men and brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people,
or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the
hands of the Romans.
45-1:12 That
is, that I may be comforted together with you by
the mutual faith both of you and me.
45-3:12 They
are all gone out of the way, they are together
become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
45-6:5 For
if we have been planted together in the likeness
of his death, we shall be also in the
likeness of his resurrection:
45-8:17 And
if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be
that we suffer with him, that we may
be also glorified together.
45-8:22 For
we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
45-8:28 And
we know that all things work together for good
to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
45-15:30 Now
I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of
the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
46-1:10 Now
I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all
speak the same thing, and that there
be no divisions among you; but that ye
be perfectly joined together in the same mind
and in the same judgment.
46-3:9 For
we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s
husbandry, ye are God’s building.
46-5:4 In
the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
46-7:5 Defraud
ye not one the other, except it be with
consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come
together again, that Satan tempt you not for
your incontinency.
46-11:17 Now
in this that I declare unto you I
praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
46-11:18 For
first of all, when ye come together in the
church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
46-11:20 When
ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s supper.
46-11:33 Wherefore,
my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry
one for another.
46-11:34 And
if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in
order when I come.
46-12:24 For
our comely parts have no need: but
God hath tempered the body together, having
given more abundant honour to that part which
lacked:
46-14:23 If
therefore the whole church be come together into
one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye
are mad?
46-14:26 How
is it then, brethren? when ye come together,
every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a
revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
47-1:11 Ye
also helping together by prayer for us, that for
the gift bestowed upon us by the
means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
47-6:1 We
then, as workers together with
him, beseech you also that ye
receive not the grace of God in vain.
47-6:14 Be
ye not unequally yoked together with
unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and
what communion hath light with darkness?
49-1:10 That
in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are
in heaven, and which are on earth; even in
him:
49-2:5 Even
when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together
with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
49-2:6 And
hath raised us up together, and made us
sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
49-2:21 In
whom all the building fitly framed together
groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
49-2:22 In
whom ye also are builded together for an
habitation of God through the Spirit.
49-4:16 From
whom the whole body fitly joined together and
compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual
working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the
edifying of itself in love.
50-1:27 Only
let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I
come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand
fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together
for the faith of the gospel;
50-3:17 Brethren,
be followers together of me, and mark them which
walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
51-2:2 That
their hearts might be comforted, being knit together
in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the
acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
51-2:13 And
you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he
quickened together with him, having forgiven you
all trespasses;
51-2:19 And
not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having
nourishment ministered, and knit together,
increaseth with the increase of God.
52-4:17 Then
we which are alive and remain shall
be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
52-5:10 Who
died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
52-5:11 Wherefore
comfort yourselves together, and edify one
another, even as also ye do.
53-2:1 Now
we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
58-10:25 Not
forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,
as the manner of some is; but
exhorting one another: and so much
the more, as ye see the day approaching.
59-5:3 Your
gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against
you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
60-3:7 Likewise,
ye husbands, dwell with them according
to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as
being heirs together of the grace of life; that
your prayers be not hindered.
60-5:13 The
church that is at Babylon, elected together with you,
saluteth you; and so doth Marcus
my son.
66-6:14 And the heaven
departed as a scroll when it is rolled together;
and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
66-16:16 And he
gathered them together into a place called in
the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
66-19:17 And I saw
an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the
fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
66-19:19 And I saw
the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the
horse, and against his army.
66-20:8 And shall
go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog
and Magog, to gather them together to battle:
the number of whom is as the sand of
the sea.
