01-GENESIS
01-41:40 Thou
shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled:
only in the throne will I be greater than thou.
02-EXODUS
02-11:5 And
all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh
that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the
firstborn of the maidservant that is behind
the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
02-12:29 And
it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land
of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
05-17:18 And
it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of
his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the
Levites:
09-2:8 He
raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth
up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them
among princes, and to make them inherit the throne
of glory: for the pillars of the earth are
the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.
10-3:10 To
translate the kingdom from the house of Saul, and to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan
even to Beersheba.
10-7:13 He
shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
10-7:16 And
thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.
10-14:9 And
the woman of Tekoah said unto the king, My lord, O king, the iniquity be on me, and on my father’s house: and
the king and his throne be guiltless.
11-1:13 Go
and get thee in unto king David, and say unto him, Didst not thou, my lord, O
king, swear unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign
after me, and he shall sit upon my throne? why
then doth Adonijah reign?
11-1:17 And
she said unto him, My lord, thou swarest by the LORD thy God unto thine
handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon
thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne.
11-1:20 And
thou, my lord, O king, the eyes of all Israel are upon thee, that thou shouldest tell them who shall sit on the throne of my lord the king after him.
11-1:24 And
Nathan said, My lord, O king, hast thou said, Adonijah shall reign after me,
and he shall sit upon my throne?
11-1:27 Is
this thing done by my lord the king, and thou hast not shewed it unto thy servant, who should sit on
the throne of my lord the king after him?
11-1:30 Even
as I sware unto thee by the LORD God of Israel, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy
son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne
in my stead; even so will I certainly do this day.
11-1:35 Then
ye shall come up after him, that he may come and sit upon my throne; for he shall be king in my stead: and I have
appointed him to be ruler over Israel and over Judah.
11-1:37 As
the LORD hath been with my lord the king, even so be he with Solomon, and make
his throne greater than the throne of my lord king David.
11-1:46 And
also Solomon sitteth on the throne of the
kingdom.
11-1:47 And
moreover the king’s servants came to bless our lord king David, saying, God
make the name of Solomon better than thy name, and make his throne greater than thy throne.
And the king bowed himself upon the bed.
11-1:48 And
also thus said the king, Blessed be the
LORD God of Israel, which hath given one to
sit on my throne this day, mine eyes even seeing
it.
11-2:4 That
the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy
children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their
heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the
throne of Israel.
11-2:12 Then
sat Solomon upon the throne of David his father;
and his kingdom was established greatly.
11-2:19 Bathsheba
therefore went unto king Solomon, to speak unto him for Adonijah. And the king
rose up to meet her, and bowed himself unto her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set for the king’s
mother; and she sat on his right hand.
11-2:24 Now
therefore, as the LORD liveth, which
hath established me, and set me on the throne of
David my father, and who hath made me an house, as he promised, Adonijah shall
be put to death this day.
11-2:33 Their
blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed
for ever: but upon David, and upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall there be peace for ever from the LORD.
11-2:45 And
king Solomon shall be blessed, and
the throne of David shall be established before
the LORD for ever.
11-3:6 And
Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy,
according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in
uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness,
that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne,
as it is this day.
11-5:5 And,
behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the
LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my
name.
11-7:7 Then
he made a porch for the throne where he might
judge, even the porch of judgment:
and it was covered with cedar from
one side of the floor to the other.
11-8:20 And
the LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room
of David my father, and sit on the throne of
Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD
God of Israel.
11-8:25 Therefore
now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst
him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to
their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.
11-9:5 Then
I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon
Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not
fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.
11-10:9 Blessed
be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for
ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.
11-10:18 Moreover
the king made a great throne of ivory, and
overlaid it with the best gold.
11-10:19 The
throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round
behind: and there were stays on
either side on the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the stays.
11-16:11 And
it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he
slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall,
neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.
11-22:10 And
the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne, having put on their robes, in a void place in
the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before
them.
11-22:19 And
he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on
his throne, and all the host of heaven standing
by him on his right hand and on his left.
12-10:3 Look
even out the best and meetest of your master’s sons, and set him on his father’s throne, and fight for your master’s house.
12-10:30 And
the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab
according to all that was in mine
heart, thy children of the fourth generation
shall sit on the throne of Israel.
12-11:19 And
he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard, and all the
people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of the LORD,
and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king’s house. And he sat on
the throne of the kings.
12-13:13 And
Joash slept with his fathers; and Jeroboam sat upon his throne: and Joash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.
12-15:12 This
was the word of the LORD which he
spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons shall sit on the throne
of Israel unto the fourth generation. And
so it came to pass.
12-25:28 And
he spake kindly to him, and set his throne above
the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon;
13-17:12 He
shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne
for ever.
13-17:14 But
I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.
13-22:10 He
shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish
the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.
13-28:5 And
of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon
my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of
the LORD over Israel.
13-29:23 Then
Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king
instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.
14-6:10 The
LORD therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken: for I am risen up
in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne
of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the
LORD God of Israel.
14-6:16 Now
therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that
which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my
sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so
that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked
before me.
14-7:18 Then
will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom,
according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not
fail thee a man to be ruler in
Israel.
14-9:8 Blessed
be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king
for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever,
therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.
14-9:17 Moreover
the king made a great throne of ivory, and
overlaid it with pure gold.
14-9:18 And
there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne,
and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the
stays:
14-18:9 And
the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his throne, clothed in their
robes, and they sat in a void place at the entering in of the gate of
Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.
14-18:18 Again
he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his
right hand and on his left.
14-23:20 And
he took the captains of hundreds, and the nobles, and the governors of the
people, and all the people of the land, and brought down the king from the
house of the LORD: and they came through the high gate into the king’s house,
and set the king upon the throne of the kingdom.
16-3:7 And
next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the
men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of
the governor on this side the river.
17-1:2 That in those days, when the king
Ahasuerus sat on the throne of his kingdom,
which was in Shushan the palace,
17-5:1 Now
it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood
in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the
king sat upon his royal throne in the royal
house, over against the gate of the house.
18-26:9 He
holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
18-36:7 He
withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne;
yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
19-9:4 For
thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.
19-9:7 But
the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne
for judgment.
19-11:4 The
LORD is in his holy temple, the
LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of
men.
19-45:6 Thy
throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
19-47:8 God
reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne
of his holiness.
19-89:4 Thy
seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne
to all generations. Selah.
19-89:14 Justice
and judgment are the habitation of
thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy
face.
19-89:29 His
seed also will I make to endure for
ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
19-89:36 His
seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the
sun before me.
19-89:44 Thou
hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne
down to the ground.
19-93:2 Thy
throne is established
of old: thou art from everlasting.
19-94:20 Shall
the throne of iniquity have fellowship with
thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
19-97:2 Clouds
and darkness are round about him:
righteousness and judgment are the
habitation of his throne.
19-103:19 The
LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens;
and his kingdom ruleth over all.
19-132:11 The
LORD hath sworn in truth unto David;
he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
19-132:12 If
thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them,
their children shall also sit upon thy throne
for evermore.
20-16:12 It is an abomination to kings to commit
wickedness: for the throne is established by
righteousness.
20-20:8 A
king that sitteth in the throne of judgment
scattereth away all evil with his eyes.
20-20:28 Mercy
and truth preserve the king: and his throne is
upholden by mercy.
20-25:5 Take
away the wicked from before the king,
and his throne shall be established in
righteousness.
20-29:14 The
king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne
shall be established for ever.
23-6:1 In
the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the
temple.
23-9:7 Of
the increase of his government and
peace there shall be no end, upon the
throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order
it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for
ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
23-14:13 For
thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon
the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
23-16:5 And
in mercy shall the throne be established: and he
shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking
judgment, and hasting righteousness.
23-22:23 And
I will fasten him as a nail in a sure
place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to
his father’s house.
23-47:1 Come
down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne,
O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and
delicate.
23-66:1 Thus
saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the
house that ye build unto me? and where is
the place of my rest?
24-1:15 For,
lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD;
and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne
at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof
round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
24-3:17 At
that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne
of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the
LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of
their evil heart.
24-13:13 Then
shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will fill all the
inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit upon David’s throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the
inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunkenness.
24-14:21 Do
not abhor us, for thy name’s sake, do
not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember,
break not thy covenant with us.
24-17:12 A
glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.
24-17:25 Then
shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon
the throne of David, riding in chariots and on
horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of
Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever.
24-22:2 And
say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy
people that enter in by these gates:
24-22:4 For
if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this
house kings sitting upon the throne of David,
riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
24-22:30 Thus
saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall
prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and
ruling any more in Judah.
24-29:16 Know that thus saith the LORD of the
king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and
of all the people that dwelleth in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into
captivity;
24-33:17 For
thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
24-33:21 Then may also my covenant be broken with
David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my
ministers.
24-36:30 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon
the throne of David: and his dead body shall be
cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.
24-43:10 And
say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will
send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall
spread his royal pavilion over them.
24-49:38 And
I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy
from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD.
24-52:32 And
spake kindly unto him, and set his throne above
the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon,
25-5:19 Thou,
O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from
generation to generation.
26-1:26 And
above the firmament that was over
their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and
upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a
man above upon it.
26-10:1 Then
I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the
cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the
appearance of the likeness of a throne.
26-43:7 And
he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne,
and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the
children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no
more defile, neither they, nor their
kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high
places.
27-5:20 But
when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed
from his kingly throne, and they took his glory
from him:
27-7:9 I
beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose
garment was white as snow, and the
hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
32-3:6 For
word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
37-2:22 And
I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will
destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the
chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall
come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
38-6:13 Even
he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall
sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a
priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace
shall be between them both.
40-5:34 But
I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne:
40-19:28 And
Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in
the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne
of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones,
judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
40-23:22 And
he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne
of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
40-25:31 When
the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then
shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
42-1:32 He
shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God
shall give unto him the throne of his father
David:
44-2:30 Therefore
being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of
the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit
on his throne;
44-7:49 Heaven
is my throne,
and earth is my footstool: what house
will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is
the place of my rest?
44-12:21 And
upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.
58-1:8 But
unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is
for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
58-4:16 Let
us therefore come boldly unto the throne of
grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
58-8:1 Now
of the things which we have spoken this
is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of
the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
58-12:2 Looking
unto Jesus the author and finisher of our
faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising
the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne
of God.
66-1:4 John to
the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be
unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to
come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
66-3:21 To him
that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne,
even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
66-4:2 And
immediately I was in the spirit; and, behold, a throne
was set in heaven, and one sat on the
throne.
66-4:3 And he
that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
66-4:4 And
round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and
twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads
crowns of gold.
66-4:5 And out
of the throne proceeded lightnings and
thunderings and voices: and there were seven
lamps of fire burning before the throne, which
are the seven Spirits of God.
66-4:6 And
before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the
throne, and round about the throne, were four
beasts full of eyes before and behind.
66-4:9 And when
those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
66-4:10 The four
and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne,
and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the
throne, saying,
66-5:1 And I
saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne
a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
66-5:6 And I
beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and
of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been
slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God
sent forth into all the earth.
66-5:7 And he
came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
66-5:11 And I
beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number
of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
66-5:13 And every
creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as
are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour,
and glory, and power, be unto him
that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb
for ever and ever.
66-6:16 And said
to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that
sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the
Lamb:
66-7:9 After
this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all
nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes,
and palms in their hands;
66-7:10 And cried
with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
66-7:11 And all
the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts,
and fell before the throne on their faces, and
worshipped God,
66-7:15 Therefore
are they before the throne of God, and serve him
day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
66-7:17 For the
Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall
feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall
wipe away all tears from their eyes.
66-8:3 And
another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there
was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was
before the throne.
66-12:5 And she
brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and
her child was caught up unto God, and to his
throne.
66-14:3 And they
sung as it were a new song before the throne,
and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song
but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed
from the earth.
66-14:5 And in
their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
66-16:17 And the
seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice
out of the temple of heaven, from the throne,
saying, It is done.
66-19:4 And the
four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that
sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
66-19:5 And a
voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our
God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
66-20:11 And I saw
a great white throne, and him that sat on it,
from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no
place for them.
66-21:5 And he
that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make
all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and
faithful.
66-22:1 And he
shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of
the throne of God and of the Lamb.
66-22:3 And there
