T,265 things
01-7:23 And
every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground,
both man, and cattle, and the creeping things,
and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah
only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
01-9:3 Every
moving thing that liveth shall be meat for
you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
01-15:1 After
these things the word of the LORD came unto
Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy
exceeding great reward.
01-20:8 Therefore
Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all
these things in their ears: and the men were
sore afraid.
01-22:1 And
it came to pass after these things, that God did
tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
01-22:20 And
it came to pass after these things, that it was
told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy
brother Nahor;
01-24:1 And
Abraham was old, and well stricken in
age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.
01-24:28 And
the damsel ran, and told them of her
mother’s house these things.
01-24:53 And
the servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment,
and gave them to Rebekah: he gave
also to her brother and to her mother precious things.
01-24:66 And
the servant told Isaac all things that he had
done.
01-29:13 And
it came to pass, when Laban heard the tidings of Jacob his sister’s son, that
he ran to meet him, and embraced him, and kissed him, and brought him to his
house. And he told Laban all these things.
01-39:7 And
it came to pass after these things, that his
master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.
01-40:1 And
it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and
his baker had offended their lord the
king of Egypt.
01-42:36 And
Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved of my children: Joseph is not,
and Simeon is not, and ye will take
Benjamin away: all these things are against me.
01-45:23 And
to his father he sent after this manner; ten
asses laden with the good things of Egypt, and
ten she asses laden with corn and bread and meat for his father by the way.
01-48:1 And
it came to pass after these things, that one told Joseph, Behold, thy father is sick: and he took with him his two
sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.
02-10:2 And
that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I
have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the LORD.
02-12:36 And
the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they
lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the
Egyptians.
02-23:13 And
in all things
that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name
of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
02-25:22 And
there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy
seat, from between the two cherubims which are
upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto
the children of Israel.
02-28:38 And
it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy
things, which the children of Israel shall
hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that
they may be accepted before the LORD.
02-29:33 And
they shall eat those things wherewith the
atonement was made, to consecrate and to
sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat thereof,
because they are holy.
02-29:35 And
thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all things which
I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.
02-40:4 And
thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things
that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick,
and light the lamps thereof.
03-2:8 And
thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto
the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar.
03-4:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance
against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning
things which ought not to be done, and shall
do against any of them:
03-4:13 And
if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and
they have done somewhat against any
of the commandments of the LORD concerning
things which should not be done, and are
guilty;
03-4:22 When
a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through
ignorance against any of the
commandments of the LORD his God concerning
things which should not be done, and is
guilty;
03-4:27 And
if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments
of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
03-5:2 Or
if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or
a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it
be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
03-5:5 And
it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that
he hath sinned in that thing:
03-5:15 If
a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his
trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy
estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a
trespass offering:
03-5:17 And
if a soul sin, and commit any of these things
which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear
his iniquity.
03-8:36 So
Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD
commanded by the hand of Moses.
03-10:19 And
Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering
and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things
have befallen me: and if I had eaten
the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?
03-11:23 But
all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.
03-11:29 These
also shall be unclean unto you among
the creeping things that creep upon the earth;
the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
03-11:42 Whatsoever
goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not
eat; for they are an abomination.
03-14:11 And
the priest that maketh him clean
shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
03-15:10 And
whosoever toucheth any thing that was under
him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash his
clothes, and bathe himself in water,
and be unclean until the even.
03-15:27 And
whosoever toucheth those things shall be
unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
03-18:24 Defile
not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in
all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
03-20:23 And
ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you:
for they committed all these things, and
therefore I abhorred them.
03-22:2 Speak
unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they
profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD.
03-22:3 Say
unto them, Whosoever he be of all
your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the
LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my
presence: I am the LORD.
03-22:4 What
man soever of the seed of Aaron is a
leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that
is unclean by the dead, or a man
whose seed goeth from him;
03-22:6 The
soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat
of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh
with water.
03-22:7 And
when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is
his food.
03-22:12 If
the priest’s daughter also be married unto
a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.
03-22:15 And
they shall not profane the holy things of the
children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD;
03-22:16 Or
suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
03-26:23 And
if ye will not be reformed by me by these things,
but will walk contrary unto me;
04-1:50 But
thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all
the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the
tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and
shall encamp round about the tabernacle.
04-4:4 This
shall be the service of the sons of Kohath
in the tabernacle of the congregation, about
the most holy things:
04-4:15 And
when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the
vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons
of Kohath shall come to bear it: but
they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of
Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-4:19 But
thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the
most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go
in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
04-4:20 But
they shall not go in to see when the holy things
are covered, lest they die.
04-5:9 And
every offering of all the holy things of the
children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.
04-5:10 And
every man’s hallowed things shall be his:
whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.
04-15:13 All
that are born of the country shall do these things
after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto
the LORD.
04-18:8 And
the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine
heave offerings of all the hallowed things of
the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing,
and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.
04-18:9 This
shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every oblation
of theirs, every meat offering of theirs and every sin offering of theirs, and
every trespass offering of theirs, which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy
sons.
04-18:19 All
the heave offerings of the holy things, which
the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and
thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy
seed with thee.
04-18:32 And
ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, when ye have heaved from it the best of
it: neither shall ye pollute the holy things of
the children of Israel, lest ye die.
04-29:39 These
things ye
shall do unto the LORD in your set feasts, beside your vows, and your freewill
offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your meat offerings, and for your
drink offerings, and for your peace offerings.
04-31:20 And
purify all your raiment, and all that
is made of skins, and all work of goats’ hair,
and all things made of wood.
04-35:29 So
these things
shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in
all your dwellings.
05-1:18 And
I commanded you at that time all the things
which ye should do.
05-4:7 For
what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?
05-4:9 Only
take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they
depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and
thy sons’ sons;
05-4:30 When
thou art in tribulation, and all these things
are come upon thee, even in the
latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his
voice;
05-6:11 And
houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged,
which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not;
when thou shalt have eaten and be full;
05-10:21 He
is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee
these great and terrible things, which thine
eyes have seen.
05-12:8 Ye
shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man
whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
05-12:26 Only
thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows,
thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose.
05-18:12 For
all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations
the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
05-25:16 For
all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are
an abomination unto the LORD thy God.
05-26:13 Then
thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine
house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to
the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou
hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I
forgotten them:
05-28:47 Because
thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart,
for the abundance of all things;
05-28:48 Therefore
shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in
hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and
he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.
05-28:57 And
toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her
children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly
in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy
gates.
05-29:29 The
secret things
belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
05-30:1 And
it shall come to pass, when all these things are
come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and
thou shalt call them to mind among
all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
05-32:35 To
me belongeth vengeance, and
recompence; their foot shall slide in due
time: for the day of their calamity is
at hand, and the things that shall come upon
them make haste.
05-33:13 And
of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be
his land, for the precious things of heaven,
for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
05-33:14 And
for the precious fruits brought forth by
the sun, and for the precious things put forth
by the moon,
05-33:15 And
for the chief things of the ancient mountains,
and for the precious things of the lasting
hills,
05-33:16 And
for the precious things of the earth and fulness
thereof, and for the good will of him
that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come
upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
06-1:17 According
as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so
will we hearken unto thee: only the LORD thy God be with thee, as he was with
Moses.
06-2:11 And
as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there
remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth
beneath.
06-2:23 So
the two men returned, and descended from the mountain, and passed over, and
came to Joshua the son of Nun, and told him all things that befell them:
06-11:1 And
it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab
king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,
06-23:14 And,
behold, this day I am going the way
of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that
not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you;
all are come to pass unto you, and not
one thing hath failed thereof.
06-23:15 Therefore
it shall come to pass, that as all
good things are come upon you, which the LORD
your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good
land which the LORD your God hath given you.
06-24:29 And
it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the
son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being
an hundred and ten years old.
07-13:23 But
his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have
received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he
have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as
these.
07-18:27 And
they took the things
which Micah had made, and the priest which he had, and came unto Laish,
unto a people that were at quiet and
secure: and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the city with
fire.
08-4:7 Now
this was the manner in former time in
Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.
09-2:23 And
he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I
hear of your evil dealings by all this people.
09-3:12 In
that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house:
when I begin, I will also make an end.
09-3:17 And
he said, What is the thing that the
LORD hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing
from me of all the things that he said unto
thee.
09-12:21 And
turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after
vain things,
which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.
09-12:24 Only
fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider how
great things
he hath done for you.
09-15:21 But
the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to
sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.
09-19:7 And
Jonathan called David, and Jonathan shewed him all those things. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was
in his presence, as in times past.
09-25:37 But
it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his
wife had told him these things, that his heart
died within him, and he became as a
stone.
09-26:25 Then
Saul said to David, Blessed be thou,
my son David: thou shalt both do great things, and also shalt still prevail. So David
went on his way, and Saul returned to his place.
10-7:21 For
thy word’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these
great things, to make thy servant know them.
10-7:23 And
what one nation in the earth is like
thy people, even like Israel, whom
God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do
for you great things and terrible, for thy land,
before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?
10-11:18 Then
Joab sent and told David all the things
concerning the war;
10-12:8 And
I gave thee thy master’s house, and thy master’s wives into thy bosom, and gave
thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee
such and such things.
10-13:21 But
when king David heard of all these things, he
was very wroth.
10-14:20 To
fetch about this form of speech hath thy servant Joab done this thing: and my lord is wise, according to the wisdom of an angel of God, to know all things that
are in the earth.
10-23:5 Although
my house be not so with God; yet he
hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it not to grow.
10-23:17 And
he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their
lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things
did these three mighty men.
10-23:22 These
things did
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and had the name among three mighty men.
10-24:12 Go
and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose
thee one of them, that I may do it unto
thee.
10-24:23 All
these things
did Araunah, as a king, give unto
the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The LORD thy God accept thee.
11-4:33 And
he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is
in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake
also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things,
and of fishes.
11-5:8 And
Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things
which thou sentest to me for: and I
will do all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of
fir.
11-7:51 So
was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And
Solomon brought in the things which David his
father had dedicated; even the
silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the
house of the LORD.
11-15:15 And
he brought in the things which his father had
dedicated, and the things which himself had
dedicated, into the house of the LORD, silver, and gold, and vessels.
11-17:17 And
it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress
of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath
left in him.
11-18:36 And
it came to pass at the time of the
offering of the evening sacrifice,
that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of
Israel, let it be known this day that thou art
God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at
thy word.
11-21:1 And
it came to pass after these things, that Naboth the Jezreelite had a
vineyard, which was in Jezreel, hard
by the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.
11-21:26 And
he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as
did the Amorites, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
12-8:4 And
the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I
pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath
done.
12-11:9 And
the captains over the hundreds did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest
commanded: and they took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath,
with them that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.
12-12:4 And
Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is brought into the house of the LORD, even the money of every one that passeth
the account, the money that every man
is set at, and all the money that
cometh into any man’s heart to bring into the house of the LORD,
12-12:18 And
Jehoash king of Judah took all the hallowed things
that Jehoshaphat, and Jehoram, and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had
dedicated, and his own hallowed things, and all
the gold that was found in the
treasures of the house of the LORD, and in the king’s house, and sent it to Hazael king of Syria: and he went
away from Jerusalem.
12-14:3 And
he did that which was right in the
sight of the LORD, yet not like David his father: he did according to all things as Joash his father did.
12-17:9 And
the children of Israel did secretly those
things that were not right against the LORD their God, and they built them high
places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.
12-17:11 And
there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom the LORD carried away before them; and wrought
wicked things to provoke the LORD to anger:
12-19:29 And
this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye
shall eat this year such things as grow of
themselves, and in the second year that which springeth of the same; and in the
third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof.
12-20:13 And
Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and
the precious ointment, and all the
house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing
in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.
12-20:15 And
he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that
are in mine house have they seen:
there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.
12-23:17 Then
he said, What title is that that I
see? And the men of the city told him, It
is the sepulchre of the man of God, which came from Judah, and proclaimed
these things that thou hast done against the
altar of Bethel.
12-25:15 And
the firepans, and the bowls, and such
things as were
of gold, in gold, and of silver, in silver, the captain of the guard took
away.
13-4:22 And
Jokim, and the men of Chozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who had the dominion in
Moab, and Jashubilehem. And these are ancient
things.
13-9:31 And
Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the
Korahite, had the set office over the things
that were made in the pans.
13-11:19 And
said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing:
shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for
with the jeopardy of their lives they
brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things
did these three mightiest.
13-11:24 These
things did
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and had the name among the three mighties.
13-17:19 O
LORD, for thy servant’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done
all this greatness, in making known all these
great things.
13-21:10 Go
and tell David, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things: choose
thee one of them, that I may do it unto
thee.
13-23:13 The
sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should
sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons
for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless
in his name for ever.
13-23:28 Because
their office was to wait on the sons
of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the
chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things,
and the work of the service of the house of God;
13-26:20 And
of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures
of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
13-26:26 Which
Shelomith and his brethren were over
all the treasures of the dedicated things, which
David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds,
and the captains of the host, had dedicated.
13-28:12 And
the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the house of the
LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of
God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things:
13-28:14 He gave of gold by weight for things of
gold, for all instruments of all manner of service; silver also for all instruments of silver by weight, for all
instruments of every kind of service:
13-29:2 Now
I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be
made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of
brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and
of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in
abundance.
13-29:5 The
gold for things
of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers.
And who then is willing to consecrate
his service this day unto the LORD?
13-29:14 But
who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to
offer so willingly after this sort? for all things
come of thee, and of thine own have
we given thee.
13-29:17 I
know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in
uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly
offered all these things: and now have I seen
with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.
13-29:19 And
give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy
testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the
palace, for the which I have made
provision.
14-3:3 Now
these are the things
wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The
length by cubits after the first measure was
threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
14-4:6 He
made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to
wash in them: such things as they offered for
the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
14-5:1 Thus
all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished: and
Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the
silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of
the house of God.
14-12:12 And
when he humbled himself, the wrath of the LORD turned from him, that he would
not destroy him altogether: and also
in Judah things went well.
14-15:18 And
he brought into the house of God the things that
his father had dedicated, and that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold,
and vessels.
14-19:3 Nevertheless
there are good things found in thee, in that
thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart
to seek God.
14-21:3 And
their father gave them great gifts of silver, and of gold, and of precious things, with fenced cities in Judah: but the kingdom gave
he to Jehoram; because he was the
firstborn.
14-23:8 So
the Levites and all Judah did according to all things
that Jehoiada the priest had commanded, and took every man his men that were to
come in on the sabbath, with them that were to go out on the sabbath: for Jehoiada the priest dismissed not the
courses.
14-24:7 For
the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, had broken up the house of God; and
also all the dedicated things of the house of
the LORD did they bestow upon Baalim.
14-29:33 And
the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.
14-31:5 And
as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in
abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the
increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
14-31:6 And
concerning the children of Israel and
Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of
oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things
which were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laid them by heaps.
14-31:12 And
brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: over which
Cononiah the Levite was ruler, and
Shimei his brother was the next.
14-31:14 And
Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the porter toward the east, was over the freewill offerings of God,
to distribute the oblations of the LORD, and the most holy things.
14-32:1 After
these things, and the establishment thereof,
Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against
the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself.
15-1:6 And
all they that were about them
strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and
with beasts, and with precious things, beside
all that was willingly offered.
15-2:63 And
the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and
with Thummim.
15-7:1 Now
after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king
of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah,
15-9:1 Now
when these things were done, the princes came to
me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not
separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the
Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.
16-6:8 Then
I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things
done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart.
16-6:16 And
it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own
eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God.
16-7:65 And
the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.
16-9:6 Thou,
even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with
all their host, the earth, and all things that are
therein, the seas, and all that is therein,
and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
16-10:33 For
the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt
offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the
holy things,
and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our
God.
16-12:47 And
all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the
portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they
sanctified holy things
unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.
16-13:26 Did
not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things?
yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God,
and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish
women cause to sin.
17-2:1 After
these things, when the wrath of king Ahasuerus
was appeased, he remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed
against her.
17-2:3 And
let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they
may gather together all the fair young virgins unto Shushan the palace, to the
house of the women, unto the custody of Hege the king’s chamberlain, keeper of
the women; and let their things for purification
be given them:
17-2:9 And
the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave
her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of
the king’s house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
17-2:12 Now
when every maid’s turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had
been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days
of their purifications accomplished, to
wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and
with other things
for the purifying of the women;)
17-3:1 After
these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the
son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the
princes that were with him.
17-5:11 And
Haman told them of the glory of his riches, and the multitude of his children,
and all the things
wherein the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the
princes and servants of the king.
17-9:20 And
Mordecai wrote these things, and sent letters
unto all the Jews that were in all
the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, both
nigh and far,
18-5:9 Which
doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:
18-6:7 The
things that
my soul refused to touch are as
my sorrowful meat.
18-6:30 Is
there iniquity in my tongue? cannot my taste discern perverse things?
18-8:2 How
long wilt thou speak these things? and how
long shall the words of thy mouth be
like a strong wind?
18-9:10 Which
doeth great things past finding out; yea, and
wonders without number.
18-10:13 And
these things
hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this is with thee.
18-12:3 But
I have understanding as well as you; I am
not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things
as these?
18-12:22 He
discovereth deep things out of darkness, and
bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
18-13:20 Only
do not two things
unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.
18-13:26 For
thou writest bitter things against me, and
makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.
18-14:19 The
waters wear the stones: thou washest away the things
which grow out of the dust of the earth;
and thou destroyest the hope of man.
18-16:2 I
have heard many such things: miserable
comforters are ye all.
18-22:18 Yet
he filled their houses with good things: but the counsel of the wicked is far from
me.
18-23:14 For
he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with
him.
18-26:5 Dead
things are
formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
18-33:29 Lo,
all these things
worketh God oftentimes with man,
18-37:5 God
thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things
doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
18-41:30 Sharp
stones are under him: he spreadeth
sharp pointed things upon the mire.
18-41:34 He
beholdeth all high things: he is
a king over all the children of pride.
18-42:3 Who
is he that hideth counsel without
knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
19-8:6 Thou
madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under
his feet:
19-12:3 The
LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and
the tongue that speaketh proud things:
19-15:5 He that putteth not out his money to
usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall
never be moved.
19-17:2 Let
my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.
19-31:18 Let
the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things
proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
19-35:11 False
witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
19-38:12 They
also that seek after my life lay snares for
me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things,
and imagine deceits all the day long.
19-42:4 When
I remember these things,
I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with
them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude
that kept holyday.
19-45:1 My
heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things
which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
19-45:4 And
in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand
shall teach thee terrible things.
19-50:21 These
things hast
thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
19-57:2 I
will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.
19-60:3 Thou
hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast
made us to drink the wine of astonishment.
19-65:5 By terrible things
in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends
of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon
the sea:
19-71:19 Thy
righteousness also, O God, is very
high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!
19-72:18 Blessed
be the LORD God, the God of Israel,
who only doeth wondrous things.
19-78:12 Marvellous
things did he in the sight of their fathers, in
the land of Egypt, in the field of
Zoan.
19-86:10 For
thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art
God alone.
19-87:3 Glorious
things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
19-94:4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things?
and all the workers of iniquity boast
themselves?
19-98:1 O
sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten
him the victory.
19-103:5 Who
satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the
eagle’s.
19-104:25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things
creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
19-106:21 They
forgat God their saviour, which had done great things
in Egypt;
19-106:22 Wondrous
works in the land of Ham, and terrible
things by the Red sea.
19-107:43 Whoso
is wise, and will observe these things, even
they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
19-113:6 Who
humbleth himself to behold the things
that are in heaven, and in the earth!
19-119:18 Open
thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things
out of thy law.
19-119:128 Therefore
I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
19-126:2 Then
was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they
among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things
for them.
19-126:3 The
LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
19-131:1 LORD,
my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in
great matters, or in things too high for me.
19-148:10 Beasts,
and all cattle; creeping things, and flying
fowl:
20-2:12 To
deliver thee from the way of the evil man,
from the man that speaketh froward things;
20-3:15 She
is more precious than rubies: and all
the things thou canst desire are not to be
compared unto her.
20-6:16 These
six things
doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an
abomination unto him:
20-8:6 Hear;
for I will speak of excellent things; and the
opening of my lips shall be right things.
20-8:11 For
wisdom is better than rubies; and all
the things that may be desired are not to be
compared to it.
20-15:28 The
heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth
out evil things.
20-16:4 The
LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the
day of evil.
20-16:30 He
shutteth his eyes to devise froward things:
moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.
20-22:20 Have
not I written to thee excellent things in
counsels and knowledge,
20-23:16 Yea,
my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things.
20-23:33 Thine
eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.
20-24:23 These
things also
belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of
persons in judgment.
20-26:10 The
great God that formed all things both
rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors.
20-28:5 Evil
men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
20-28:10 Whoso
causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into
his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
20-30:7 Two
things have
I required of thee; deny me them not
before I die:
20-30:15 The
horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give,
give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:
20-30:18 There
be three things
which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:
20-30:21 For
three things
the earth is disquieted, and for four which
it cannot bear:
20-30:24 There
be four things
which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:
20-30:29 There
be three things
which go well, yea, four are comely in going:
21-1:8 All
things are
full of labour; man cannot utter it: the
eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.
21-1:11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither
shall there be any remembrance of things that
are to come with those that shall
come after.
21-1:13 And
I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that
are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to
be exercised therewith.
21-6:11 Seeing
there be many things that increase vanity, what is man the better?
21-7:15 All
things have
I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness.
21-7:25 I
applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the
reason of things,
and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness:
21-9:2 All
things
come alike to all: there is one
event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to
the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he
that sweareth, as he that feareth an
oath.
21-9:3 This
is an evil among all things that
are done under the sun, that there is one
event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and
madness is in their heart while they
live, and after that they go to the
dead.
21-10:19 A
feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.
21-11:9 Rejoice,
O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth,
and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know
thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.
23-12:5 Sing
unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth.
23-25:1 O
LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt
thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
23-25:6 And
in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well
refined.
23-29:16 Surely
your turning of things upside down shall be
esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He
made me not? or shall the thing framed say
of him that framed it, He had no understanding?
23-30:10 Which
say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things,
prophesy deceits:
23-32:8 But
the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by
liberal things shall he stand.
23-34:1 Come
near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all
that is therein; the world, and all things that
come forth of it.
23-38:16 O
Lord, by these things
men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou
recover me, and make me to live.
23-39:2 And
Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and
the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found
in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that
Hezekiah shewed them not.
23-40:26 Lift
up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host
by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that
he is strong in power; not one
faileth.
23-41:22 Let
them bring them forth, and shew us
what shall happen: let them shew the former things,
what they be, that we may consider
them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things
for to come.
23-41:23 Shew
the things that are to come hereafter, that we
may know that ye are gods: yea, do
good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.
23-42:9 Behold,
the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell
you of them.
23-42:16 And
I will bring the blind by a way that they
knew not; I will lead them in paths that they
have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things
will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
23-42:20 Seeing
many things, but thou observest not; opening the
ears, but he heareth not.
23-43:9 Let
all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who
among them can declare this, and shew us former things?
let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them
hear, and say, It is truth.
23-43:18 Remember
ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
23-44:7 And
who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since
I appointed the ancient people? and the things
that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
23-44:9 They
that make a graven image are all of
them vanity; and their delectable things shall
not profit; and they are their own
witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
23-44:24 Thus
saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that
stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
23-45:7 I
form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD
do all these things.
23-45:11 Thus
saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the
work of my hands command ye me.
23-45:19 I
have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the
seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
23-46:9 Remember
the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God,
and there is none like me,
23-46:10 Declaring
the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall
stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
23-47:7 And
thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so
that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the
latter end of it.
23-47:9 But
these two things
shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and
widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of
thy sorceries, and for the great
abundance of thine enchantments.
23-47:13 Thou
art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the
stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that
shall come upon thee.
23-48:3 I
have declared the former things from the
beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.
23-48:6 Thou
hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things
from this time, even hidden things, and thou
didst not know them.
23-48:14 All
ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The
LORD hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
23-51:19 These
two things
are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and
destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee?
23-56:4 For
thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that
please me, and take hold of my covenant;
23-61:11 For
as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the
Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the
nations.
23-64:3 When
thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed
down at thy presence.
23-64:11 Our
holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with
fire: and all our pleasant things are laid
waste.
23-64:12 Wilt
thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and
afflict us very sore?
23-65:4 Which
remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh,
and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
23-66:2 For
all those things
hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor
and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
23-66:8 Who
hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one
day? or shall a nation be born at
once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
24-2:8 The
priests said not, Where is the LORD?
and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against
me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
24-3:5 Will
he reserve his anger for ever? will
he keep it to the end? Behold, thou
hast spoken and done evil things as thou
couldest.
24-3:7 And
I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not.
And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
24-4:18 Thy
way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reacheth unto
thine heart.
24-5:9 Shall
I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be
avenged on such a nation as this?
24-5:19 And
it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all
these things
unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and
served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.
24-5:25 Your
iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from
you.
24-5:29 Shall
I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be
avenged on such a nation as this?
24-8:13 I
will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there
shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf
shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from
them.
24-9:9 Shall
I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be
avenged on such a nation as this?
24-9:24 But
let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that
I am the LORD which exercise
lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I
delight, saith the LORD.
24-10:16 The
portion of Jacob is not like them:
for he is the former of all things; and
Israel is the rod of his inheritance:
The LORD of hosts is his name.
24-13:22 And
if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these things
upon me? For the greatness of thine iniquity are thy skirts discovered, and thy heels made bare.
24-14:22 Are
there any among the vanities of the
Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God?
therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.
24-16:18 And
first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have
defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their
detestable and abominable things.
24-16:19 O
LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the
Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely
our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
24-17:9 The
heart is deceitful above all things, and
desperately wicked: who can know it?
24-18:13 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Ask ye now among the heathen, who hath heard such things: the virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible
thing.
24-20:1 Now
Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was
also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah
prophesied these things.
24-20:5 Moreover
I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and
all the precious things thereof, and all the
treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies,
which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.
24-21:14 But
I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, saith the LORD: and I
will kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it.
24-26:10 When
the princes of Judah heard these things, then
they came up from the king’s house unto the house of the LORD, and sat down in
the entry of the new gate of the LORD’S house.
24-30:15 Why
criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have
done these things unto thee.
24-31:5 Thou
shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant,
and shall eat them as common things.
24-33:3 Call
unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
24-42:5 Then
they said to Jeremiah, The LORD be a true and faithful witness between us, if
we do not even according to all things for the
which the LORD thy God shall send thee to us.
24-44:18 But
since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink
offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by
the famine.
24-45:5 And
seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring evil
upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey
in all places whither thou goest.
24-51:19 The
portion of Jacob is not like them;
for he is the former of all things: and Israel
is the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name.
25-1:7 Jerusalem
remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her
people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries
saw her, and did mock at her
sabbaths.
25-1:10 The
adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst
command that they should not enter
into thy congregation.
25-1:11 All
her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and
consider; for I am become vile.
25-1:16 For
these things
I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter
that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because
the enemy prevailed.
25-2:14 Thy
prophets have seen vain and foolish things for
thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity;
but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.
25-5:17 For
this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim.
26-5:11 Wherefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD;
Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore
will I also diminish thee; neither
shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
26-7:20 As
for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images
of their abominations and of their
detestable things therein: therefore have I set it
far from them.
26-8:10 So
I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things,
and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed
upon the wall round about.
26-11:5 And
the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the
LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.
26-11:18 And
they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from
thence.
26-11:21 But
as for them whose heart walketh after
the heart of their detestable things and their
abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord
GOD.
26-11:25 Then
I spake unto them of the captivity all the things
that the LORD had shewed me.
26-16:16 And
of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers
colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the
like things shall not come, neither shall it
be so.
26-16:30 How
weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the
work of an imperious whorish woman;
26-16:43 Because
thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all
these things;
behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this
lewdness above all thine abominations.
26-17:12 Say
now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is
come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof,
and led them with him to Babylon;
26-17:15 But
he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might
give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth
such things?
or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?
26-17:18 Seeing
he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand,
and hath done all these things, he shall not escape.
26-18:10 If
he beget a son that is a robber, a
shedder of blood, and that doeth the
like to any one of these things,
26-20:40 For
in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord
GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me:
there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the
firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.
26-22:8 Thou
hast despised mine holy things, and hast
profaned my sabbaths.
26-22:25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in
the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured
souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things;
they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.
26-22:26 Her
priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy
and profane, neither have they shewed difference
between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths,
and I am profaned among them.
26-23:30 I
will do these things
unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their
idols.
26-24:19 And
the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so?
26-27:24 These
were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in
blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with
cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.
26-37:23 Neither
shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their
detestable things, nor with any of their
transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein
they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will
be their God.
26-38:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things
come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
26-38:20 So
that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field,
and all creeping things that creep upon the
earth, and all the men that are upon
the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be
thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the
ground.
26-42:13 Then
said he unto me, The north chambers and the
south chambers, which are before the
separate place, they be holy
chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy
things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering,
and the trespass offering; for the place is
holy.
26-42:14 When
the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there
they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other
garments, and shall approach to those things which are
for the people.
26-44:8 And
ye have not kept the charge of mine holy things:
but ye have set keepers of my charge in my sanctuary for yourselves.
26-44:13 And
they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to
come near to any of my holy things, in the most
holy place: but they shall bear their
shame, and their abominations which they have committed.
26-44:30 And
the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every oblation of all, of every sort of your oblations, shall be the
priest’s: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he
may cause the blessing to rest in thine house.
27-2:10 The
Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth
that can shew the king’s matter: therefore there
is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked
such things at any magician, or astrologer, or
Chaldean.
27-2:22 He
revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth
what is in the darkness, and the
light dwelleth with him.
27-2:40 And
the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in
pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall
it break in pieces and bruise.
27-7:8 I
considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little
horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots:
and, behold, in this horn were eyes
like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
27-7:16 I
came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this.
So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
27-7:20 And
of the ten horns that were in his
head, and of the other which came up,
and before whom three fell; even of that
horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things,
whose look was more stout than his
fellows.
27-10:21 But
I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in
these things, but Michael your prince.
27-11:36 And
the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and
magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till
the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
27-11:38 But
in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers
knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and
pleasant things.
27-11:43 But
he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the
precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and
the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
27-12:7 And
I heard the man clothed in linen, which was
upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left
hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an
half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy
people, all these things shall be finished.
27-12:8 And
I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
28-2:18 And
in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with
the fowls of heaven, and with the
creeping things of the ground: and I will break
the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to
lie down safely.
28-8:12 I
have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.
28-9:3 They
shall not dwell in the LORD’S land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they
shall eat unclean things in Assyria.
28-14:9 Who
is wise, and he shall understand
these things?
prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in
them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
29-2:20 But
I will remove far off from you the northern army,
and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward
the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall
come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
29-2:21 Fear
not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
29-3:5 Because
ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my
goodly pleasant things:
31-1:6 How
are the things
of Esau searched out! how are his
hidden things sought up!
33-7:15 According
to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him
marvellous things.
35-1:14 And
makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things,
that have no ruler over them?
36-1:2 I
will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD.
38-4:10 For
who hath despised the day of small things? for
they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to
and fro through the whole earth.
38-8:12 For
the seed shall be prosperous; the
vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the
heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to
possess all these things.
38-8:16 These
are the things
that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the
judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
38-8:17 And
let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no
false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.
40-1:20 But
while he thought on these things, behold, the
angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of
David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in
her is of the Holy Ghost.
40-2:3 When
Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with
him.
40-4:9 And
saith unto him, All these things will I give
thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
40-6:8 Be
not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
40-6:32 (For
after all these things do the Gentiles seek:)
for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
40-6:33 But
seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
40-6:34 Take
therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
40-7:11 If
ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much
more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things
to them that ask him?
40-7:12 Therefore
all things whatsoever ye would that men should
do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
40-9:18 While
he spake these things unto them, behold, there
came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead:
but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
40-11:4 Jesus
answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
40-11:25 At
that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and
earth, because thou hast hid these things from
the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
40-11:27 All
things are delivered unto me of my Father: and
no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father,
save the Son, and he to whomsoever
the Son will reveal him.
40-12:34 O
generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the
mouth speaketh.
40-12:35 A
good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure
bringeth forth evil things.
40-13:3 And
he spake many things unto them in parables,
saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
40-13:17 For
verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those
things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have
not heard them.
40-13:34 All
these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in
parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
40-13:35 That
it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my
mouth in parables; I will utter things which
have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
40-13:41 The
Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his
kingdom all things that offend, and them which
do iniquity;
40-13:51 Jesus
saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things?
They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
40-13:52 Then
said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which
is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth
forth out of his treasure things new and old.
40-13:56 And
his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
40-15:18 But
those things which proceed out of the mouth come
forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
40-15:20 These
are the things
which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
40-16:21 From
that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go
unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the
elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the
third day.
40-16:23 But
he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence
unto me: for thou savourest not the things that
be of God, but those that be of men.
40-17:11 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore
all things.
40-19:20 The
young man saith unto him, All these things have
I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
40-19:26 But
Jesus beheld them, and said unto
them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things
are possible.
40-21:15 And
when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things
that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the
son of David; they were sore displeased,
40-21:22 And
all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer,
believing, ye shall receive.
40-21:23 And
when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people
came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
40-21:24 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will
tell you by what authority I do these things.
40-21:27 And
they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither
tell I you by what authority I do these things.
40-22:4 Again,
he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I
have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings
are killed, and all things are ready:
come unto the marriage.
40-22:21 They
say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar
the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.
40-23:20 Whoso
therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
40-23:36 Verily
I say unto you, All these things shall come upon
this generation.
40-24:2 And
Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things?
verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another,
that shall not be thrown down.
40-24:3 And
as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately,
saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and
what shall be the sign of thy coming,
and of the end of the world?
40-24:6 And
ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all
these things
must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
40-24:33 So
likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things,
know that it is near, even at the
doors.
40-24:34 Verily
I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
40-25:21 His
lord said unto him, Well done, thou good
and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
40-25:23 His
lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been
faithful over a few things, I will make thee
ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy
of thy lord.
40-27:13 Then
said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things
they witness against thee?
40-27:19 When
he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou
nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
40-27:54 Now
when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake,
and those things that were done, they feared
greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
40-28:11 Now
when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed
unto the chief priests all the things that were
done.
40-28:20 Teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
41-1:44 And
saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself
to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things
which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
41-2:8 And
immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within
themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things
in your hearts?
41-3:8 And
from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from
beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they
had heard what great things he did, came unto
him.
41-4:2 And
he taught them many things by parables, and said
unto them in his doctrine,
41-4:11 And
he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of
God: but unto them that are without, all these
things are done in parables:
41-4:19 And
the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of
other things entering in, choke the word, and it
becometh unfruitful.
41-4:34 But
without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he
expounded all things to his disciples.
41-5:19 Howbeit
Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell
them how great things the Lord hath done for
thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
41-5:20 And
he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.
41-5:26 And
had suffered many things of many physicians, and
had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
41-6:2 And
when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many
hearing him were astonished, saying,
From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are
wrought by his hands?
41-6:20 For
Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed
him; and when he heard him, he did many things,
and heard him gladly.
41-6:30 And
the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had
taught.
41-6:34 And
Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward
them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach
them many things.
41-7:4 And
when they come from the market,
except they wash, they eat not. And many other things
there be, which they have received to hold, as
the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.
41-7:8 For
laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and
many other such like things ye do.
41-7:13 Making
the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered:
and many such like things do ye.
41-7:15 There
is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that
defile the man.
41-7:23 All
these evil things come from within, and defile
the man.
41-7:37 And
were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the
dumb to speak.
41-8:31 And
he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and
be killed, and after three days rise again.
41-8:33 But
when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying,
Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things
that be of God, but the things that be of men.
41-9:9 And
as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no
man what things they had seen, till the Son of
man were risen from the dead.
41-9:12 And
he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that
he must suffer many things, and be set at
nought.
41-9:23 Jesus
said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things
are possible to him that believeth.
41-10:27 And
Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it
is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things
are possible.
41-10:32 And
they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and
they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the
twelve, and began to tell them what things
should happen unto him,
41-11:11 And
Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round
about upon all things, and now the eventide was
come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.
41-11:23 For
verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou
removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but
shall believe that those things which he saith
shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
41-11:24 Therefore
I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when
ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and
ye shall have them.
41-11:28 And
say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things?
and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
41-11:29 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and
answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
41-11:33 And
they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith
unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
41-12:17 And
Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things
that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that
are God’s. And they marvelled at him.
41-13:4 Tell
us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
41-13:7 And
when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must
needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
41-13:23 But
take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
41-13:29 So
ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things
come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at
the doors.
41-13:30 Verily
I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
41-14:36 And
he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this
cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
41-15:3 And
the chief priests accused him of many things:
but he answered nothing.
41-15:4 And
Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee.
42-1:1 Forasmuch
as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
42-1:3 It
seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in
order, most excellent Theophilus,
42-1:4 That
thou mightest know the certainty of those things,
wherein thou hast been instructed.
42-1:20 And,
behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not
my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.
42-1:45 And
blessed is she that believed: for
there shall be a performance of those things
which were told her from the Lord.
42-1:49 For
he that is mighty hath done to me great things;
and holy is his name.
42-1:53 He
hath filled the hungry with good things; and the
rich he hath sent empty away.
42-2:18 And
all they that heard it wondered at
those things which were told them by the
shepherds.
42-2:19 But
Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
42-2:20 And
the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told
unto them.
42-2:33 And
Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things
which were spoken of him.
42-2:39 And
when they had performed all things according to the
law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth.
42-3:18 And
many other things in his exhortation preached he
unto the people.
42-4:28 And
all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things,
were filled with wrath,
42-5:26 And
they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear,
saying, We have seen strange things to day.
42-5:27 And
after these things he went forth, and saw a
publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him,
Follow me.
42-6:46 And
why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things
which I say?
42-7:9 When
Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him,
and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto
you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
42-7:18 And
the disciples of John shewed him of all these things.
42-7:22 Then
Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see,
the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to
the poor the gospel is preached.
42-8:8 And
other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And
when he had said these things, he cried, He that
hath ears to hear, let him hear.
42-8:39 Return
to thine own house, and shew how great things
God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the
whole city how great things Jesus had done unto
him.
42-9:9 And
Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him.
42-9:22 Saying,
The Son of man must suffer many things, and be
rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be
raised the third day.
42-9:36 And
when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days
any of those things which they had seen.
42-9:43 And
they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every
one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his
disciples,
42-10:1 After
these things the Lord appointed other seventy
also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place,
whither he himself would come.
42-10:7 And
in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things
as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to
house.
42-10:8 And
into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
42-10:21 In
that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of
heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things
from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father;
for so it seemed good in thy sight.
42-10:22 All
things are delivered to me of my Father: and no
man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son,
and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
42-10:23 And
he turned him unto his disciples, and
said privately, Blessed are the eyes
which see the things that ye see:
42-10:24 For
I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
42-10:41 And
Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled
about many things:
42-11:27 And
it came to pass, as he spake these things, a
certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps
which thou hast sucked.
42-11:41 But
rather give alms of such things as ye have; and,
behold, all things are clean unto you.
42-11:53 And
as he said these things unto them, the scribes
and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently,
and to provoke him to speak of many things:
42-12:15 And
he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life
consisteth not in the abundance of the things
which he possesseth.
42-12:20 But
God said unto him, Thou fool, this
night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
42-12:30 For
all these things do the nations of the world
seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
42-12:31 But
rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things
shall be added unto you.
42-12:48 But
he that knew not, and did commit things worthy
of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes.
For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to
whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
42-13:2 And
Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners
above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
42-13:17 And
when he had said these things, all his
adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
42-14:6 And
they could not answer him again to these things.
42-14:15 And
when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things,
he said unto him, Blessed is he that
shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.
42-14:17 And
sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
42-14:21 So
that servant came, and shewed his lord these things.
Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into
the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the
maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
42-15:26 And
he called one of the servants, and asked what these things
meant.
42-16:14 And
the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things:
and they derided him.
42-16:25 But
Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art
tormented.
42-17:9 Doth
he thank that servant because he did the things
that were commanded him? I trow not.
42-17:10 So
likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things
which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that
which was our duty to do.
42-17:25 But
first must he suffer many things, and be
rejected of this generation.
42-18:22 Now
when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him,
Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou
hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and
come, follow me.
42-18:27 And
he said, The things which are impossible with
men are possible with God.
42-18:31 Then
he took unto him the twelve, and said
unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things
that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be
accomplished.
42-18:34 And
they understood none of these things: and this
saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things
which were spoken.
42-19:11 And
as they heard these things, he added and spake a
parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the
kingdom of God should immediately appear.
42-19:42 Saying,
If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which
belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
42-20:2 And
spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?
42-20:8 And
Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
42-20:25 And
he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things
which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which
be God’s.
42-21:6 As for these things
which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one
stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
42-21:7 And
they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things
be? and what sign will there be when
these things shall come to pass?
42-21:9 But
when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
42-21:22 For
these be the days of vengeance, that all things
which are written may be fulfilled.
42-21:26 Men’s
hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers
of heaven shall be shaken.
42-21:28 And
when these things begin to come to pass, then look
up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
42-21:31 So
likewise ye, when ye see these things come to
pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
42-21:36 Watch
ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all
these things that shall come to pass, and to
stand before the Son of man.
42-22:37 For
I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And
he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things
concerning me have an end.
42-22:65 And
many other things blasphemously spake they
against him.
42-23:8 And
when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of
a long season, because he had heard
many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some
miracle done by him.
42-23:14 Said
unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people:
and, behold, I, having examined him before
you, have found no fault in this man touching those things
whereof ye accuse him:
42-23:31 For
if they do these things in a green tree, what
shall be done in the dry?
42-23:48 And
all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and
returned.
42-23:49 And
all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar
off, beholding these things.
42-24:9 And
returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things
unto the eleven, and to all the rest.
42-24:10 It
was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the
mother of James, and other women that
were with them, which told these things unto
the apostles.
42-24:14 And
they talked together of all these things which
had happened.
42-24:18 And
the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only
a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things
which are come to pass there in these days?
42-24:19 And
he said unto them, What things? And they said
unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and
word before God and all the people:
42-24:21 But
we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside
all this, to day is the third day since these things
were done.
42-24:26 Ought
not Christ to have suffered these things, and to
enter into his glory?
42-24:27 And
beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the
scriptures the things concerning himself.
42-24:35 And
they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.
42-24:44 And
he said unto them, These are the
words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the
law of Moses, and in the prophets,
and in the psalms, concerning me.
42-24:48 And
ye are witnesses of these things.
43-1:3 All
things were made by him; and without him was not
any thing made that was made.
43-1:28 These
things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan,
where John was baptizing.
43-1:50 Jesus
answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig
tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things
than these.
43-2:16 And
said unto them that sold doves, Take these things
hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.
43-2:18 Then
answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing
that thou doest these things?
43-3:9 Nicodemus
answered and said unto him, How can these things
be?
43-3:10 Jesus
answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
43-3:12 If
I have told you earthly things, and ye believe
not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of
heavenly things?
43-3:22 After
these things came Jesus and his disciples into
the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
43-3:35 The
Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things
into his hand.
43-4:25 The
woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when
he is come, he will tell us all things.
43-4:29 Come,
see a man, which told me all things that ever I
did: is not this the Christ?
43-4:45 Then
when he was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the
things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast:
for they also went unto the feast.
43-5:16 And
therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had
done these things on the sabbath day.
43-5:19 Then
answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can
do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son
likewise.
43-5:20 For
the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things
that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may
marvel.
43-5:34 But
I receive not testimony from man: but these things
I say, that ye might be saved.
43-6:1 After
these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee,
which is the sea of Tiberias.
43-6:59 These
things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in
Capernaum.
43-7:1 After
these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he
would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
43-7:4 For
there is no man that doeth any thing in secret,
and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.
43-7:32 The
Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things
concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take
him.
43-8:26 I
have many things to say and to judge of you: but
he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
43-8:28 Then
said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know
that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my
Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
43-8:29 And
he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always
those things that please him.
43-10:6 This
parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
43-10:41 And
many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.
43-11:11 These
things said he: and after that he saith unto
them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
43-11:45 Then
many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things
which Jesus did, believed on him.
43-11:46 But
some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.
43-12:16 These
things understood not his disciples at the
first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto
him.
43-12:36 While
ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light.
These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did
hide himself from them.
43-12:41 These
things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and
spake of him.
43-13:3 Jesus
knowing that the Father had given all things
into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;
43-13:17 If
ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do
them.
43-13:29 For
some of them thought, because Judas had
the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those
things that we have need of against the
feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
43-14:25 These
things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
43-14:26 But
the Comforter, which is the Holy
Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things
to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
43-15:11 These
things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might
remain in you, and that your joy
might be full.
43-15:15 Henceforth
I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I
have called you friends; for all things that I
have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
43-15:17 These
things I command you, that ye love one another.
43-15:21 But
all these things will they do unto you for my
name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
43-16:1 These
things have I spoken unto you, that ye should
not be offended.
43-16:3 And
these things will they do unto you, because they
have not known the Father, nor me.
43-16:4 But
these things have I told you, that when the time
shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I
was with you.
43-16:6 But
because I have said these things unto you,
sorrow hath filled your heart.
43-16:12 I
have yet many things to say unto you, but ye
cannot bear them now.
43-16:13 Howbeit
when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he
shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things
to come.
43-16:15 All
things that the Father hath are mine: therefore
said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
43-16:25 These
things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but
the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall
shew you plainly of the Father.
43-16:30 Now
are we sure that thou knowest all things, and
needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest
forth from God.
43-16:33 These
things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye
might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer;
I have overcome the world.
43-17:7 Now
they have known that all things whatsoever thou
hast given me are of thee.
43-17:13 And
now come I to thee; and these things I speak in
the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
43-18:4 Jesus
therefore, knowing all things that should come
upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?
43-19:24 They
said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose
it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my
raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.
43-19:28 After
this, Jesus knowing that all things were now
accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
43-19:36 For
these things were done, that the scripture
should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
43-20:18 Mary
Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
43-21:1 After
these things Jesus shewed himself again to the
disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.
43-21:17 He
saith unto him the third time, Simon, son
of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the
third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith
unto him, Feed my sheep.
43-21:24 This
is the disciple which testifieth of these things,
and wrote these things: and we know that his
testimony is true.
43-21:25 And
there are also many other things which Jesus
did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world
itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
44-1:3 To
whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs,
being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things
pertaining to the kingdom of God:
44-1:9 And
when he had spoken these things, while they
beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
44-2:44 And
all that believed were together, and had all things
common;
44-3:18 But
those things, which God before had shewed by the
mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
44-3:21 Whom
the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his
holy prophets since the world began.
44-3:22 For
Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up
unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
44-4:20 For
we cannot but speak the things which we have seen
and heard.
44-4:25 Who
by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the
people imagine vain things?
44-4:32 And
the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither
said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had
all things common.
44-4:34 Neither
was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands
or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things
that were sold,
44-5:5 And
Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear
came on all them that heard these things.
44-5:11 And
great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.
44-5:24 Now
when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard
these things, they doubted of them whereunto
this would grow.
44-5:32 And
we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath
given to them that obey him.
44-7:1 Then
said the high priest, Are these things so?
44-7:50 Hath
not my hand made all these things?
44-7:54 When
they heard these things, they were cut to the
heart, and they gnashed on him with their
teeth.
44-8:6 And
the people with one accord gave heed unto those things
which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
44-8:12 But
when they believed Philip preaching the things
concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized,
both men and women.
44-8:24 Then
answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
44-9:16 For
I will shew him how great things he must suffer
for my name’s sake.
44-10:8 And
when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa.
44-10:12 Wherein
were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and
creeping things, and fowls of the air.
44-10:33 Immediately
therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now
therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.
44-10:39 And
we are witnesses of all things which he did both
in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
44-11:6 Upon
the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted
beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things,
and fowls of the air.
44-11:18 When
they heard these things, they held their peace, and
glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance
unto life.
44-11:22 Then
tidings of these things came unto the ears of
the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should
go as far as Antioch.
44-12:17 But
he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them
how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he
departed, and went into another place.
44-13:39 And
by him all that believe are justified from all things,
from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
44-13:45 But
when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against
those things which were spoken by Paul,
contradicting and blaspheming.
44-14:15 And
saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also
are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from
these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea,
and all things that are therein:
44-15:4 And
when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they
declared all things that God had done with them.
44-15:17 That
the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom
my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.
44-15:20 But
that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things
strangled, and from blood.
44-15:27 We
have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.
44-15:28 For
it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden
than these necessary things;
44-15:29 That
ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if
ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
44-16:14 And
a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which
worshipped God, heard us: whose heart
the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things
which were spoken of Paul.
44-17:8 And
they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things.
44-17:11 These
were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with
all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
44-17:20 For
thou bringest certain strange things to our
ears: we would know therefore what these things
mean.
44-17:22 Then
Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things
ye are too superstitious.
44-17:24 God
that made the world and all things therein,
seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with
hands;
44-17:25 Neither
is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
44-18:1 After
these things Paul departed from Athens, and came
to Corinth;
44-18:17 Then
all the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Gallio
cared for none of those things.
44-18:25 This
man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he
spake and taught diligently the things of the
Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.
44-19:8 And
he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months,
disputing and persuading the things concerning
the kingdom of God.
44-19:21 After
these things were ended, Paul purposed in the
spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem,
saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.
44-19:36 Seeing
then that these things cannot be spoken against,
ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.
44-20:22 And
now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
44-20:24 But
none of these things move me, neither count I my
life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the
ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the
grace of God.
44-20:30 Also
of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things,
to draw away disciples after them.
44-20:35 I
have shewed you all things, how that so
labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord
Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
44-21:12 And
when we heard these things, both we, and they of
that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.
44-21:19 And
when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.
44-21:24 Them
take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may
shave their heads: and all may know
that those things, whereof they were informed
concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou
thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.
44-21:25 As
touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing,
save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from
strangled, and from fornication.
44-22:10 And
I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into
Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things
which are appointed for thee to do.
44-23:22 So
the chief captain then let the young
man depart, and charged him, See thou tell
no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
44-24:8 Commanding
his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take
knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse
him.
44-24:9 And
the Jews also assented, saying that these things
were so.
44-24:13 Neither
can they prove the things whereof they now
accuse me.
44-24:14 But
this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship
I the God of my fathers, believing all things
which are written in the law and in the prophets:
44-24:22 And
when Felix heard these things, having more
perfect knowledge of that way, he
deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will
know the uttermost of your matter.
44-25:9 But
Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou
go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things
before me?
44-25:11 For
if I be an offender, or have committed any thing
worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me
unto them. I appeal unto Caesar.
44-25:18 Against
whom when the accusers stood up, they brought none accusation of such things as I supposed:
44-26:2 I
think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day
before thee touching all the things whereof I am
accused of the Jews:
44-26:9 I
verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things
contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
44-26:16 But
rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose,
to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things
which thou hast seen, and of those things in the
which I will appear unto thee;
44-26:22 Having
therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to
small and great, saying none other things than
those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:
44-26:26 For
the king knoweth of these things, before whom
also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.
44-27:11 Nevertheless
the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.
44-28:10 Who
also honoured us with many honours; and when we departed, they laded us with such things
as were necessary.
44-28:24 And
some believed the things which were spoken, and
some believed not.
44-28:31 Preaching
the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which
concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
45-1:20 For
the invisible things of him from the creation of
the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things
that are made, even his eternal power
and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
45-1:23 And
changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to
corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
45-1:28 And
even as they did not like to retain God in their
knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
45-1:30 Backbiters,
haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
45-1:32 Who
knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but
have pleasure in them that do them.
45-2:1 Therefore
thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou
judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
45-2:2 But
we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which
commit such things.
45-2:3 And
thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the
judgment of God?
45-2:14 For
when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the
law, are a law unto themselves:
45-2:18 And
knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out
of the law;
45-3:19 Now
we know that what things soever the law saith,
it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and
all the world may become guilty before God.
45-4:17 (As
it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he
believed, even God, who quickeneth
the dead, and calleth those things which be not
as though they were.
45-6:21 What
fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are
now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
45-8:5 For
they that are after the flesh do mind the things
of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things
of the Spirit.
45-8:28 And
we know that all things work together for good
to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
45-8:31 What
shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
45-8:32 He
that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not
with him also freely give us all things?
45-8:37 Nay,
in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him that loved us.
45-8:38 For
I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
45-10:5 For
Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which
doeth those things shall live by them.
45-10:15 And
how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are
the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of
good things!
45-11:36 For
of him, and through him, and to him, are all
things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
45-12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another.
Mind not high things, but condescend to men of
low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
45-12:17 Recompense
to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest
in the sight of all men.
45-14:2 For
one believeth that he may eat all things:
another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
45-14:18 For
he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of
men.
45-14:19 Let
us therefore follow after the things which make
for peace, and things wherewith one may edify
another.
45-14:20 For
meat destroy not the work of God. All things
indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with
offence.
45-15:4 For
whatsoever things were written aforetime were
written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the
scriptures might have hope.
45-15:17 I
have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
45-15:18 For
I will not dare to speak of any of those things
which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and
deed,
45-15:27 It
hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have
been made partakers of their spiritual things,
their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
46-1:27 But
God hath chosen the foolish things of the world
to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things
of the world to confound the things which are
mighty;
46-1:28 And
base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things
which are not, to bring to nought things that
are:
46-2:9 But
as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into
the heart of man, the things which God hath
prepared for them that love him.
46-2:10 But
God hath revealed them unto us by his
Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things,
yea, the deep things of God.
46-2:11 For
what man knoweth the things of a man, save the
spirit of man which is in him? even so the things
of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
46-2:12 Now
we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God;
that we might know the things that are freely
given to us of God.
46-2:13 Which
things also we speak, not in the words which
man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
46-2:14 But
the natural man receiveth not the things of the
Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually
discerned.
46-2:15 But
he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he
himself is judged of no man.
46-3:21 Therefore
let no man glory in men. For all things are
yours;
46-3:22 Whether
Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things
to come; all are yours;
46-4:5 Therefore
judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to
light the hidden things of darkness, and will
make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise
of God.
46-4:6 And
these things, brethren, I have in a figure
transferred to myself and to Apollos
for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up
for one against another.
46-4:13 Being
defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.
46-4:14 I
write not these things to shame you, but as my
beloved sons I warn you.
46-6:3 Know
ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things
that pertain to this life?
46-6:4 If
then ye have judgments of things pertaining to
this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
46-6:12 All
things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things
are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
46-7:1 Now
concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a
woman.
46-7:32 But
I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the
Lord:
46-7:33 But
he that is married careth for the things that
are of the world, how he may please his wife.
46-7:34 There
is difference also between a wife and
a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things
of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is
married careth for the things of the world, how
she may please her husband.
46-8:1 Now
as touching things offered unto idols, we know
that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
46-8:4 As
concerning therefore the eating of those things
that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
46-8:6 But
to us there is but one God, the
Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by
whom are all things,
and we by him.
46-8:10 For
if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple,
shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
46-9:8 Say
I these things as a man? or saith not the law
the same also?
46-9:11 If
we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing
if we shall reap your carnal things?
46-9:12 If
others be partakers of this power
over you, are not we rather?
Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.
46-9:13 Do
ye not know that they which minister about holy things
live of the things
of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the
altar?
46-9:15 But
I have used none of these things: neither have I
written these things, that it should be so done
unto me: for it were better for me to
die, than that any man should make my glorying void.
46-9:22 To
the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men,
that I might by all means save some.
46-9:25 And
every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do
it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
46-10:6 Now
these things were our examples, to the intent we
should not lust after evil things, as they also
lusted.
46-10:11 Now
all these things happened unto them for ensamples:
and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are
come.
46-10:20 But
I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to
devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
46-10:23 All
things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things
are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
46-10:33 Even
as I please all men in all things, not
seeking mine own profit, but the profit of
many, that they may be saved.
46-11:2 Now
I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things,
and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them
to you.
46-11:12 For
as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
46-13:7 Beareth
all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things,
endureth all things.
46-13:11 When
I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a
child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
46-14:7 And
even things without life giving sound, whether
pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be
known what is piped or harped?
46-14:26 How
is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm,
hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let
all things be done unto edifying.
46-14:37 If
any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that
the things that I write unto you are the
commandments of the Lord.
46-14:40 Let
all things be done decently and in order.
46-15:27 For
he hath put all things under his feet. But when
he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted,
which did put all things under him.
46-15:28 And
when all things shall be subdued unto him, then
shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
46-16:14 Let
all your things be done with charity.
47-1:13 For
we write none other things unto you, than what
ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;
47-1:17 When
I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the
flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
47-2:9 For
to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be
obedient in all things.
47-2:16 To
the one we are the savour of death
unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
47-4:2 But
have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,
not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by
manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in
the sight of God.
47-4:15 For
all things are
for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of
many redound to the glory of God.
47-4:18 While
we look not at the things which are seen, but at
the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which
are not seen are eternal.
47-5:10 For
we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may
receive the things done in his body,
according to that he hath done, whether it
be good or bad.
47-5:17 Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
47-5:18 And
all things are
of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given
to us the ministry of reconciliation;
47-6:4 But
in all things
approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in
afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
47-6:10 As
sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having
nothing, and yet possessing all things.
47-7:11 For
behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed
after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what
zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye
have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
47-7:14 For
if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I
am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to
you in truth, even so our boasting, which I
made before Titus, is found a truth.
47-7:16 I
rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.
47-8:21 Providing
for honest things, not only in the sight of the
Lord, but also in the sight of men.
47-8:22 And
we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in
many things, but now much more diligent, upon
the great confidence which I have in
you.
47-9:8 And
God is able to make all grace abound
toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
47-10:7 Do
ye look on things after the outward appearance?
If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this
again, that, as he is Christ’s, even
so are we Christ’s.
47-10:13 But
we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the
measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even
unto you.
47-10:15 Not
boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other
men’s labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be
enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,
47-10:16 To
preach the gospel in the regions beyond
you, and not to boast in another
man’s line of things made ready to our hand.
47-11:6 But
though I be rude in speech, yet not
in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.
47-11:9 And
when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that
which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in
all things
I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.
47-11:28 Beside
those things that are without, that which cometh
upon me daily, the care of all the churches.
47-11:30 If
I must needs glory, I will glory of the things
which concern mine infirmities.
47-12:19 Again,
think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things,
dearly beloved, for your edifying.
47-13:10 Therefore
I write these things being absent, lest being
present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath
given me to edification, and not to destruction.
48-1:20 Now
the things which I write unto you, behold,
before God, I lie not.
48-2:18 For
if I build again the things which I destroyed, I
make myself a transgressor.
48-3:4 Have
ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
48-3:10 For
as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written,
Cursed is every one that continueth
not in all things which are written in the book
of the law to do them.
48-4:24 Which
things are an allegory: for these are the two
covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is
Agar.
48-5:17 For
the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and
these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
48-5:21 Envyings,
murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you
before, as I have also told you in
time past, that they which do such things shall
not inherit the kingdom of God.
48-6:6 Let
him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
49-1:10 That
in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all
things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and
which are on earth; even in him:
49-1:11 In
whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the
purpose of him who worketh all things after the
counsel of his own will:
49-1:22 And
hath put all things
under his feet, and gave him to be the
head over all things
to the church,
49-3:9 And
to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which
from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
49-4:10 He
that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he
might fill all things.)
49-4:15 But
speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even
Christ:
49-5:6 Let
no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of
disobedience.
49-5:12 For
it is a shame even to speak of those things
which are done of them in secret.
49-5:13 But
all things that are reproved are made manifest
by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
49-5:20 Giving
thanks always for all things unto God and the
Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
49-6:9 And,
ye masters, do the same things unto them,
forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is
there respect of persons with him.
49-6:21 But
that ye also may know my affairs, and how
I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make
known to you all things:
50-1:10 That
ye may approve things that are excellent; that
ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
50-1:12 But
I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things
which happened unto me have fallen
out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
50-2:4 Look
not every man on his own things, but every man
also on the things of others.
50-2:10 That
at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in
earth, and things
under the earth;
50-2:14 Do
all things without murmurings and disputings:
50-2:21 For
all seek their own, not the things which are
Jesus Christ’s.
50-3:1 Finally,
my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things
to you, to me indeed is not grievous,
but for you it is safe.
50-3:7 But
what things were gain to me, those I counted
loss for Christ.
50-3:8 Yea
doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the
knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
50-3:13 Brethren,
I count not myself to have apprehended: but this
one thing I do, forgetting those things which
are behind, and reaching forth unto those things
which are before,
50-3:19 Whose
end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their
shame, who mind earthly things.)
50-3:21 Who
shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious
body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
50-4:8 Finally,
brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever
things are
honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
50-4:9 Those
things, which ye have both learned, and
received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with
you.
50-4:12 I
know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry,
both to abound and to suffer need.
50-4:13 I
can do all things through Christ which
strengtheneth me.
50-4:18 But
I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which
were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable,
wellpleasing to God.
51-1:16 For
by him were all things created, that are in
heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or
principalities, or powers: all things were
created by him, and for him:
51-1:17 And
he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
51-1:18 And
he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn
from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
51-1:20 And,
having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things
in heaven.
51-2:17 Which
are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
51-2:18 Let
no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of
angels, intruding into those things which he
hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
51-2:23 Which
things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will
worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the
satisfying of the flesh.
51-3:1 If
ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things
which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
51-3:2 Set
your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
51-3:14 And
above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
51-3:20 Children,
obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
51-3:22 Servants,
obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as
menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
51-4:9 With
Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are
done here.
52-2:14 For
ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in
Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things
of your own countrymen, even as they have
of the Jews:
52-5:21 Prove
all things; hold fast that which is good.
53-2:5 Remember
ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
53-3:4 And
we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
54-3:11 Even
so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober,
faithful in all things.
54-3:14 These
things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto
thee shortly:
54-4:6 If
thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things,
thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of
faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
54-4:8 For
bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of
that which is to come.
54-4:11 These
things command and teach.
54-4:15 Meditate
upon these things; give thyself wholly to them;
that thy profiting may appear to all.
54-5:7 And
these things give in charge, that they may be
blameless.
54-5:13 And
withal they learn to be idle,
wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and
busybodies, speaking things which they ought
not.
54-5:21 I
charge thee before God, and the Lord
Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing
nothing by partiality.
54-6:2 And
they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of
the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
54-6:11 But
thou, O man of God, flee these things; and
follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
54-6:13 I
give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before
Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
54-6:17 Charge
them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in
uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
55-1:12 For
the which cause I also suffer these things:
nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am
persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against
that day.
55-1:18 The
Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how
many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus,
thou knowest very well.
55-2:2 And
the things that thou hast heard of me among many
witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach
others also.
55-2:7 Consider
what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
55-2:10 Therefore
I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that
they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
55-2:14 Of
these things put them in remembrance, charging them
before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
55-3:14 But
continue thou in the things which thou hast
learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
55-4:5 But
watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do
the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
56-1:5 For
this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every
city, as I had appointed thee:
56-1:11 Whose
mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.
56-1:15 Unto
the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and
conscience is defiled.
56-2:1 But
speak thou the things which become sound
doctrine:
56-2:3 The
aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour
as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of
good things;
56-2:7 In
all things shewing thyself a pattern of good
works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness,
gravity, sincerity,
56-2:9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto
their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
56-2:10 Not
purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of
God our Saviour in all things.
56-2:15 These
things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all
authority. Let no man despise thee.
56-3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they
which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
58-1:2 Hath
in these last days spoken unto us by his Son,
whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by
whom also he made the worlds;
58-1:3 Who
being the brightness of his glory,
and the express image of his person, and upholding all things
by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on
the right hand of the Majesty on high;
58-2:1 Therefore
we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things
which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
58-2:8 Thou
hast put all things in subjection under his
feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we
see not yet all things put under him.
58-2:10 For
it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many
sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through
sufferings.
58-2:17 Wherefore
in all things it behoved him to be made like
unto his brethren, that he might be a
merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make
reconciliation for the sins of the people.
58-3:4 For
every house is builded by some man; but
he that built all things is God.
58-3:5 And
Moses verily was faithful in all his
house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things
which were to be spoken after;
58-4:13 Neither
is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked
and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
58-5:1 For
every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining
to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
58-5:8 Though
he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things
which he suffered;
58-5:11 Of
whom we have many things to say, and hard to be
uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
58-6:9 But,
beloved, we are persuaded better things of you,
and things that accompany salvation, though we
thus speak.
58-6:18 That
by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we
might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the
hope set before us:
58-7:13 For
he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to
another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
58-8:1 Now
of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high
priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the
heavens;
58-8:5 Who
serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things,
as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for,
See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the
mount.
58-9:6 Now
when these things were thus ordained, the
priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
58-9:11 But
Christ being come an high priest of good things
to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is
to say, not of this building;
58-9:22 And
almost all things are by the law purged with blood;
and without shedding of blood is no remission.
58-9:23 It was therefore necessary that the
patterns of things in the heavens should be
purified with these; but the heavenly things
themselves with better sacrifices than these.
58-10:1 For
the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they
offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
58-11:1 Now
faith is the substance of things hoped for, the
evidence of things not seen.
58-11:3 Through
faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
58-11:7 By
faith Noah, being warned of God of things not
seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by
the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is
by faith.
58-11:14 For
they that say such things declare plainly that
they seek a country.
58-11:20 By
faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things
to come.
58-12:24 And
to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that
speaketh better things than that of Abel.
58-12:27 And
this word, Yet once more, signifieth
the removing of those things that are shaken, as
of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
58-13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave
thee, nor forsake thee.
58-13:18 Pray
for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things
willing to live honestly.
59-2:16 And
one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
59-3:2 For
in many things we offend all. If any man offend
not in word, the same is a perfect
man, and able also to bridle the
whole body.
59-3:5 Even
so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things.
Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
59-3:7 For
every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of
mankind:
59-3:10 Out
of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
59-5:12 But
above all things, my brethren, swear not,
neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let
your yea be yea; and your nay, nay;
lest ye fall into condemnation.
60-1:12 Unto
whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister
the things, which are now reported unto you by
them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from
heaven; which things the angels desire to look
into.
60-1:18 Forasmuch
as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things,
as silver and gold, from your vain
conversation received by tradition
from your fathers;
60-4:7 But
the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore
sober, and watch unto prayer.
60-4:8 And
above all things have fervent charity among
yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
60-4:11 If
any man speak, let him speak as the
oracles of God; if any man minister, let
him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom
be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
61-1:3 According
as his divine power hath given unto us all things
that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
61-1:8 For
if these things be in you, and abound, they make
you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the
knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
61-1:9 But
he that lacketh these things is blind, and
cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
61-1:10 Wherefore
the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:
for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
61-1:12 Wherefore
I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
61-1:15 Moreover
I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
61-2:12 But
these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of
the things that they understand not; and shall
utterly perish in their own corruption;
61-3:4 And
saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep,
all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
61-3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be
dissolved, what manner of persons ought
ye to be in all holy conversation and
godliness,
61-3:14 Wherefore,
beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be
diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
61-3:16 As
also in all his epistles, speaking in
them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are
unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also
the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
61-3:17 Ye
therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away
with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
62-1:4 And
these things write we unto you, that your joy
may be full.
62-2:1 My
little children, these things write I unto you, that
ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus
Christ the righteous:
62-2:15 Love
not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love
the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
62-2:20 But
ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
62-2:26 These
things have
I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
62-2:27 But
the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not
that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it
hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
62-3:20 For
if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
62-3:22 And
whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do
those things that are pleasing in his sight.
62-5:13 These
things have I written unto you that believe on
the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and
that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
63-1:8 Look
to yourselves, that we lose not those things
which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
63-1:12 Having
many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to
come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
64-1:2 Beloved,
I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper
and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
64-1:13 I
had many things to write, but I will not with
ink and pen write unto thee:
65-1:10 But
these speak evil of those things which they know
not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
66-1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ,
which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things
which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
66-1:2 Who
bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of
all things that he saw.
66-1:3 Blessed
is he that readeth, and they that
hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things
which are written therein: for the time is
at hand.
66-1:19 Write
the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things
which shall be hereafter;
66-2:1 Unto
the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things
saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the
midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
66-2:8 And
unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things
saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
66-2:10 Fear
none of those things which thou shalt suffer:
behold, the devil shall cast some of
you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days:
be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
66-2:12 And
to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things
saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
66-2:14 But
I have a few things against thee, because thou
hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a
stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things
sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
66-2:18 And
unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things
saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet
are like fine brass;
66-2:20 Notwithstanding
I have a few things against thee, because thou
sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and
to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
66-3:1 And
unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things
saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy
works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
66-3:2 Be
watchful, and strengthen the things which remain,
that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
66-3:7 And
to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key
of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man
openeth;
66-3:14 And
unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness,
the beginning of the creation of God;
66-4:1 After
this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened
in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up
hither, and I will shew thee things which must
be hereafter.
66-4:11 Thou
art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast
created all things, and for thy pleasure they
are and were created.
66-7:1 And
after these things I saw four angels standing on
the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the
