01-GENESIS
01-2:4 These are the
generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day
that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
01-6:9 These are the
generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and
perfect in his generations, and Noah
walked with God.
01-9:19 These are the
three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.
01-10:1 Now
these are the
generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were
sons born after the flood.
01-10:5 By
these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in
their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their
nations.
01-10:20 These are the
sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.
01-10:29 And
Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.
01-10:31 These are the
sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after
their nations.
01-10:32 These are the
families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by
these were the nations divided in the earth
after the flood.

generations of Shem: Shem was an
hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:
01-11:27 Now
these are the
generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.
01-14:2 That these made
war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of
Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.
01-14:3 All
these were joined together in the vale of
Siddim, which is the salt sea.
01-14:13 And
there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the
plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate
with Abram.
01-15:1 After
these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram
in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am
thy shield, and thy exceeding
great reward.
01-15:10 And
he took unto him all these, and divided them in
the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he
not.
01-19:8 Behold
now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring
them out unto you, and do ye to them as is
good in your eyes: only unto these men do
nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
01-20:8 Therefore
Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears: and the men were sore
afraid.
01-21:29 And
Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by
themselves?
01-21:30 And
he said, For these
seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto
me, that I have digged this well.
01-22:1 And
it came to pass after these things, that God did
tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
01-22:20 And
it came to pass after these things, that it was
told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy
brother Nahor;
01-22:23 And
Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did
bear to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.
01-23:1 And
Sarah was an hundred and seven and twenty years old: these were the years of the life of
Sarah.
01-24:28 And
the damsel ran, and told them of her
mother’s house these things.
01-25:4 And

children of Keturah.
01-25:7 And
these are the
days of the years of Abraham’s life which he lived, an hundred threescore and
fifteen years.
01-25:12 Now
these are the

handmaid, bare unto Abraham:
01-25:13 And
these are the
names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations:
the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
01-25:16 These are the
sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve
princes according to their nations.
01-25:17 And

years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he
gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.
01-25:19 And
these are the
generations of Isaac, Abraham’s son: Abraham begat Isaac:
01-26:3 Sojourn
in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and
unto thy seed, I will give all these countries,
and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
01-26:4 And
I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy
seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall
all the nations of the earth be blessed;
01-27:36 And
he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold,
now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a
blessing for me?
01-27:42 And
these words of Esau her elder son were told to
Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him,
Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee.
01-27:46 And
Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth:
if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these
which are of the daughters of the
land, what good shall my life do me?
01-29:13 And
it came to pass, when Laban heard the tidings of Jacob his sister’s son, that
he ran to meet him, and embraced him, and kissed him, and brought him to his
house. And he told Laban all these things.
01-31:43 And
Laban answered and said unto Jacob, These daughters are my daughters, and these children are
my children, and these cattle are
my cattle, and all that thou seest is
mine: and what can I do this day unto these
my daughters, or unto their children which they have born?
01-32:17 And
he commanded the foremost, saying, When Esau my brother meeteth thee, and
asketh thee, saying, Whose art thou?
and whither goest thou? and whose are these before thee?
01-33:8 And
he said, What meanest thou by all
this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.
01-34:21 These men are peaceable
with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land,
behold, it is large enough for them;
let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our
daughters.
01-35:26 And
the sons of Zilpah, Leah’s handmaid; Gad, and Asher: these

years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with
the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought unto his father
their evil report.
01-38:25 When
she was brought forth, she sent to
her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these
are, am I with child: and she said,
Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff.
01-39:7 And
it came to pass after these things, that his
master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.
01-39:17 And
she spake unto him according to these words,
saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to
mock me:
01-40:1 And
it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and
his baker had offended their lord the
king of Egypt.
01-42:36 And
Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved of my children: Joseph is not,
and Simeon is not, and ye will take
Benjamin away: all these things are against me.
01-43:7 And
they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have ye another brother? and we told him
according to the tenor of these words: could we
certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down?
01-43:16 And
when Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the ruler of his house, Bring these men
home, and slay, and make ready; for these men shall dine with me at noon.
01-44:6 And
he overtook them, and he spake unto them these
same words.
01-44:7 And
they said unto him, Wherefore saith my lord these
words? God forbid that thy servants should do according to this thing:
01-45:6 For
these two years hath the famine been in
the land: and yet there are five
years, in the which there shall neither
be earing nor harvest.
01-46:8 And

Israel beheld Joseph’s sons, and said, Who are
these?
01-49:28 All
these are the
twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that
their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his
blessing he blessed them.
02-1:1 Now
these are the
names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household
came with Jacob.
02-4:9 And
it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these
two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of
the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest
out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.

heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.
02-6:26 These are that
Aaron and Moses, to whom the LORD said, Bring out the children of Israel from
the land of Egypt according to their armies.
02-6:27 These are they
which spake to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from
Egypt: these are
that Moses and Aaron.
02-10:1 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart,
and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these
my signs before him:
02-11:8 And
all these thy servants shall come down unto me,
and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that
follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a
great anger.
02-11:10 And
Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before
Pharaoh: and the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the
children of Israel go out of his land.
02-14:20 And
it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a
cloud and darkness to them, but it
gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all
the night.
02-15:26 And
said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and
wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his
commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon
the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that
healeth thee.
02-19:6 And
ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the
words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
02-19:7 And
Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces
all these words which the LORD commanded him.
02-20:1 And
God spake all these words, saying,
02-21:1 Now
these are the
judgments which thou shalt set before them.
02-21:11 And
if he do not these three unto her, then shall
she go out free without money.
02-24:8 And
Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on
the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath
made with you concerning all these words.
02-25:39 Of a talent of pure gold shall he make
it, with all these vessels.
02-28:4 And
these are the
garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a
broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for
Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s
office.
02-30:34 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and
galbanum; these
sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:
02-32:4 And
he received them at their hand, and
fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they
said, These be
thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
02-32:8 They
have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made
them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and
said, These be
thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
02-33:4 And
when the people heard these evil tidings, they
mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.
02-34:1 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and
I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which
thou brakest.
02-34:27 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these
words: for after the tenor of these words I have
made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
02-35:1 And
Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and
said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.
03-2:8 And
thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these
things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring
it unto the altar.
03-5:4 Or
if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips
to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it
be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he
knoweth of it, then he shall be
guilty in one of these.
03-5:5 And
it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these
things, that he shall confess that he
hath sinned in that thing:
03-5:13 And
the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath
sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven
him: and the remnant shall be the
priest’s, as a meat offering.
03-5:17 And
if a soul sin, and commit any of these things
which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear
his iniquity.
03-6:3 Or
have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely;
in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning
therein:
03-11:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among
all the beasts that are on the earth.
03-11:4 Nevertheless
these shall ye not eat of them that chew the
cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the
camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
03-11:9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters,
in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
03-11:13 And
these are
they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be
eaten, they are an abomination: the
eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
03-11:21 Yet
these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing
that goeth upon all four, which have
legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
03-11:22 Even these
of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his
kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
03-11:24 And
for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever
toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even.
03-11:29 These also shall
be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth;
the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
03-11:31 These are unclean
to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead,
shall be unclean until the even.
03-16:4 He
shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his
flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall
he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.
03-18:24 Defile
not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in
all these the nations are defiled which I cast
out before you:
03-18:26 Ye
shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these
abominations; neither any of your own
nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
03-18:27 (For
all these abominations have the men of the land
done, which were before you, and the
land is defiled;)
03-18:29 For
whosoever shall commit any of these
abominations, even the souls that commit them
shall be cut off from among their people.
03-18:30 Therefore
shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit
not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before
you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
03-20:23 And
ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you:
for they committed all these things, and
therefore I abhorred them.
03-21:14 A
widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or
an harlot, these shall he not take: but he
shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
03-22:22 Blind,
or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not
offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering
by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD.
03-22:25 Neither
from a stranger’s hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes
be in them: they shall not be
accepted for you.
03-23:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these
are my feasts.
03-23:4 These are the
feasts of the LORD, even holy
convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
03-23:37 These are the
feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to
be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a
burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every
thing upon his day:
03-25:54 And
if he be not redeemed in these years, then he shall go out in the year
of jubile, both he, and his children
with him.
03-26:14 But
if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these
commandments;
03-26:23 And
if ye will not be reformed by me by these
things, but will walk contrary unto me;
03-26:46 These are the
statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the
children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
03-27:34 These are the
commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in
mount Sinai.

these are the

04-1:16 These were the
renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of
thousands in Israel.
04-1:17 And
Moses and Aaron took these men which are
expressed by their names:
04-1:44 These are those
that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the
house of his fathers.
04-2:9 All
that were numbered in the camp of Judah were
an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four
hundred, throughout their armies. These shall
first set forth.
04-2:32 These are those
which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers:
all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three
thousand and five hundred and fifty.
04-3:1 These also are the
generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that
the LORD spake with Moses in mount Sinai.
04-3:2 And
these are the
names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and
Ithamar.
04-3:3 These are the
names of the sons of Aaron, the priests which were anointed, whom he
consecrated to minister in the priest’s office.
04-3:17 And
these were the sons of Levi by their names;
Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.

of Kohath was the family of the
Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites,
and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.
04-3:33 Of
Merari was the family of the
Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.
04-3:35 And
the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall
pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.
04-4:15 And
when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the
vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons
of Kohath shall come to bear it: but
they shall not touch any holy thing,
lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of
the congregation.
04-4:37 These were they
that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service
in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number
according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
04-4:41 These are they
that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do
service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number
according to the commandment of the LORD.
04-4:45 These be those
that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron
numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
04-5:23 And
the priest shall write these curses in a book,
and he shall blot them out with the
bitter water:
04-13:4 And
these were
their names: of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur.
04-13:16 These are the
names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea
the son of Nun Jehoshua.
04-14:22 Because
all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt
and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these
ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;
04-14:39 And
Moses told these sayings unto all the children
of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.
04-15:13 All
that are born of the country shall do these
things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet
savour unto the LORD.
04-15:22 And
if ye have erred, and not observed all these
commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses,
04-16:14 Moreover
thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given
us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
04-16:26 And
he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye
be consumed in all their sins.
04-16:28 And
Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I
have not done them of mine own
mind.
04-16:29 If
these men die the common death of all men, or if
they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.
04-16:30 But
if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them
up, with all that appertain unto
them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.
04-16:31 And
it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these
words, that the ground clave asunder that was
under them:
04-16:38 The
censers of these sinners against their own
souls, let them make them broad plates for
a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore
they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.
04-21:25 And
Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in
all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.
04-22:9 And
God came unto Balaam, and said, What men are
these with thee?
04-22:28 And
the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I
done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these
three times?
04-22:32 And
the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand
thee, because thy way is perverse
before me:
04-22:33 And
the ass saw me, and turned from me these three
times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and
saved her alive.
04-24:10 And
Balak’s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and
Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou
hast altogether blessed them these three times.
04-26:7 These are the
families of the Reubenites: and they that were numbered of them were forty and
three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
04-26:14 These are the
families of the Simeonites, twenty and two thousand and two hundred.
04-26:18 These are the
families of the children of Gad according to those that were numbered of them,
forty thousand and five hundred.
04-26:22 These are the
families of Judah according to those that were numbered of them, threescore and
sixteen thousand and five hundred.
04-26:25 These are the
families of Issachar according to those that were numbered of them, threescore
and four thousand and three hundred.
04-26:27 These are the
families of the Zebulunites according to those that were numbered of them,
threescore thousand and five hundred.
04-26:30 These are the
sons of Gilead: of Jeezer, the family
of the Jeezerites: of Helek, the family of the Helekites:
04-26:34 These are the
families of Manasseh, and those that were numbered of them, fifty and two
thousand and seven hundred.
04-26:35 These are the
sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the
Shuthalhites: of Becher, the family of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the family of
the Tahanites.
04-26:36 And
these are the
sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.
04-26:37 These are the
families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them,
thirty and two thousand and five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their
families.
04-26:41 These are the
sons of Benjamin after their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and six
hundred.
04-26:42 These are the
sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the
families of Dan after their families.
04-26:47 These are the
families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of them; who were fifty and three thousand and
four hundred.
04-26:50 These are the
families of Naphtali according to their families: and they that were numbered
of them were forty and five thousand
and four hundred.
04-26:51 These were the
numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven
hundred and thirty.
04-26:53 Unto
these the land shall be divided for an
inheritance according to the number of names.
04-26:57 And
these are they
that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family
of the Gershonites: of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari, the
family of the Merarites.
04-26:58 These are the
families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the
Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family
of the Korathites. And Kohath begat Amram.
04-26:63 These are they
that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children
of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near
Jericho.
04-26:64 But
among these there was not a man of them whom
Moses and Aaron the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel
in the wilderness of Sinai.
04-27:1 Then
came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son
of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph:
and these are
the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and
Tirzah.
04-28:23 Ye
shall offer these beside the burnt offering in
the morning, which is for a continual
burnt offering.
04-29:39 These things ye
shall do unto the LORD in your set feasts, beside your vows, and your freewill
offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your meat offerings, and for your
drink offerings, and for your peace offerings.
04-30:16 These are the
statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between
the father and his daughter, being yet in
her youth in her father’s house.
04-31:16 Behold,
these caused the children of Israel, through the
counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor,
and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.
04-33:1 These are the
journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt
with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
04-33:2 And
Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of
the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
04-34:17 These are the
names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and
Joshua the son of Nun.
04-34:19 And
the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of
Jephunneh.
04-34:29 These are they whom
the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the
land of Canaan.
04-35:13 And
of these cities which ye shall give six cities
shall ye have for refuge.
04-35:15 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for
the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any
person unawares may flee thither.
04-35:24 Then
the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the revenger of blood
according to these judgments:
04-35:29 So
these things
shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in
all your dwellings.
04-36:13 These are the
commandments and the judgments, which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses
unto the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
05-1:1 These be the
words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness,
in the plain over against the Red sea, between
Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.
05-1:35 Surely
there shall not one of these men of this evil
generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
05-2:7 For
the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy
walking through this great wilderness: these
forty years the LORD thy God hath been with
thee; thou hast lacked nothing.
05-3:5 All
these cities were
fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great
many.
05-3:21 And
I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the LORD
your God hath done unto these two kings: so
shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.
05-4:6 Keep
therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in
the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these
statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is
a wise and understanding people.
05-4:30 When
thou art in tribulation, and all these things
are come upon thee, even in the
latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his
voice;
05-4:42 That
the slayer might flee thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and
hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live:
05-4:45 These are the
testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Moses spake unto the
children of Israel, after they came forth out of Egypt,
05-5:22 These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in
the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick
darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two
tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.
05-6:1 Now
these are the
commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God
commanded to teach you, that ye might do them
in the land whither ye go to possess it:
05-6:6 And
these words, which I command thee this day,
shall be in thine heart:
05-6:24 And
the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes,
to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive,
as it is at this day.
05-6:25 And
it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these
commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
05-7:12 Wherefore
it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these
judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee
the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:
05-7:17 If
thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess
them?
05-8:2 And
thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou
wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
05-8:4 Thy
raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.
05-9:4 Speak
not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from
before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess
this land: but for the wickedness of these
nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
05-9:5 Not
for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to
possess their land: but for the wickedness of these
nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may
perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob.
05-10:21 He
is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have
seen.
05-11:18 Therefore
shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and
in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as
frontlets between your eyes.
05-11:22 For
if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments
which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his
ways, and to cleave unto him;
05-11:23 Then
will the LORD drive out all these nations from
before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.
05-12:1 These are the
statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the
LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live
upon the earth.
05-12:28 Observe
and hear all these words which I command thee,
that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when
thou doest that which is good and
right in the sight of the LORD thy God.
05-12:30 Take
heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be
destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying,
How did these nations serve their gods? even so
will I do likewise.
05-14:4 These are the
beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,
05-14:7 Nevertheless
these ye shall not eat of them that chew the
cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud,
but divide not the hoof; therefore they
are unclean unto you.
05-14:9 These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:
05-14:12 But
these are
they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the
ospray,
05-15:5 Only
if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all
these commandments which I command thee this
day.
05-16:12 And
thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe
and do these statutes.
05-17:19 And
it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that
he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:
05-18:12 For
all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them
out from before thee.
05-18:14 For
these nations, which thou shalt possess,
hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD
thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
05-19:9 If
thou shalt keep all these commandments to do
them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever
in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:
05-19:11 But
if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against
him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities:
05-20:15 Thus
shalt thou do unto all the cities which
are very far off from thee, which are
not of the cities of these nations.
05-20:16 But
of the cities of these people, which the LORD
thy God doth give thee for an
inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
05-22:17 And,
lo, he hath given occasions of speech against
her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the
tokens of my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before
the elders of the city.
05-23:18 Thou
shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of
the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these
are abomination unto the LORD thy
God.
05-25:3 Forty
stripes he may give him, and not
exceed: lest, if he should exceed,
and beat him above these with many stripes, then
thy brother should seem vile unto thee.
05-26:16 This
day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these
statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine
heart, and with all thy soul.
05-27:4 Therefore
it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that
ye shall set up these stones, which I command
you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.
05-27:12 These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the
people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and
Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:
05-27:13 And
these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse;
Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
05-28:2 And
all these blessings shall come on thee, and
overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
05-28:15 But
it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy
God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command
thee this day; that all these curses shall come
upon thee, and overtake thee:
05-28:45 Moreover
all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall
pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou
hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments
and his statutes which he commanded thee:
05-28:65 And
among these nations shalt thou find no ease,
neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee
there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:
05-29:1 These are the
words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children
of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in
Horeb.
05-29:18 Lest
there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart
turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations;
lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
05-30:1 And
it shall come to pass, when all these things are
come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and
thou shalt call them to mind among
all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
05-30:7 And
the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon
thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
05-31:1 And
Moses went and spake these words unto all
Israel.
05-31:3 The
LORD thy God, he will go over before thee, and
he will destroy these nations from before
thee, and thou shalt possess them: and Joshua,
he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath said.
05-31:17 Then
my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them,
and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils
and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?
05-31:28 Gather
unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth
to record against them.
05-32:45 And
Moses made an end of speaking all these words to
all Israel:
06-2:11 And
as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did
there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your
God, he is God in heaven above, and
in earth beneath.
06-4:6 That
this may be a sign among you, that when
your children ask their fathers in
time to come, saying, What mean ye by
these stones?
06-4:7 Then
ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of
the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were
cut off: and these stones shall be for a
memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.
06-4:21 And
he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask
their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean
these stones?
06-9:13 And
these bottles of wine, which we filled, were new; and, behold, they be rent: and
these our garments and our shoes are become old
by reason of the very long journey.
06-10:16 But
these five kings fled, and hid themselves in a
cave at Makkedah.
06-10:24 And
it came to pass, when they brought out those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua
called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war
which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet
upon the necks of them.
06-10:42 And
all these kings and their land did Joshua take
at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.
06-11:5 And
when all these kings were met together, they came
and pitched together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.
06-11:14 And
all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle,
the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they
smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left
they any to breathe.
06-12:1 Now
these are the
kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land
on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon
unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
06-12:7 And
these are the
kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side
Jordan on the west, from Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount
Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their
divisions;
06-13:12 All
the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who
remained of the remnant of the giants: for these
did Moses smite, and cast them out.
06-13:32 These are the
countries which Moses did distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moab,
on the other side Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.
06-14:1 And
these are
the countries which the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan,
which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the
fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance to
them.
06-14:10 And
now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these
forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the
wilderness: and now, lo, I am this
day fourscore and five years old.
06-17:2 There
was also a lot for the rest of the
children of Manasseh by their families; for the children of Abiezer, and for
the children of Helek, and for the children of Asriel, and for the children of
Shechem, and for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida: these were the
male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph by their families.
06-17:3 But
Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of
Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters: and these are the names of his daughters, Mahlah,
and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
06-17:9 And
the coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the river: these cities of Ephraim are among the cities of Manasseh: the coast of Manasseh also was on the north side of the river, and
the outgoings of it were at the sea:
06-19:8 And
all the villages that were round
about these cities to Baalathbeer, Ramath of the
south. This is the inheritance of the
tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
06-19:16 This
is the inheritance of the children of
Zebulun according to their families, these
cities with their villages.
06-19:31 This
is the inheritance of the tribe of
the children of Asher according to their families, these
cities with their villages.
06-19:48 This
is the inheritance of the tribe of
the children of Dan according to their families, these
cities with their villages.
06-19:51 These are the
inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the
heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an
inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of
the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.
06-20:9 These were the cities appointed for all the children
of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever
killeth any person at unawares might
flee thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood
before the congregation.
06-21:3 And
the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the
commandment of the LORD, these cities and their
suburbs.
06-21:8 And
the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these
cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
06-21:9 And
they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the
children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name,
06-21:42 These cities were every one with their suburbs round
about them: thus were all these cities.
06-22:3 Ye
have not left your brethren these many days unto
this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of the LORD your God.
06-23:3 And
ye have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto all these nations because of you; for the LORD your God is he that hath fought for you.
06-23:4 Behold,
I have divided unto you by lot these nations
that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the
nations that I have cut off, even unto the great sea westward.
06-23:7 That
ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of
the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by
them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them:
06-23:12 Else
if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even
these that remain among you, and shall make
marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you:
06-23:13 Know
for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these
nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and
scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this
good land which the LORD your God hath given you.
06-24:26 And
Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law
of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.
06-24:29 And
it came to pass after these things, that Joshua
the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old.
07-2:4 And
it came to pass, when the angel of the LORD spake these
words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice,
and wept.
07-3:1 Now
these are the
nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as
had not known all the wars of Canaan;
07-9:3 And
his mother’s brethren spake of him in the ears of all the men of Shechem all these words: and their hearts inclined to follow
Abimelech; for they said, He is our
brother.
07-13:23 But
his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have
received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he
have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these.
07-16:15 And
she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy
great strength lieth.
07-18:14 Then
answered the five men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto
their brethren, Do ye know that there is in these
houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? now
therefore consider what ye have to do.
07-18:18 And
these went into Micah’s house, and fetched the
carved image, the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image. Then said the
priest unto them, What do ye?
07-19:13 And
he said unto his servant, Come, and let us draw near to one of these places to lodge all night, in Gibeah, or in
Ramah.
07-20:17 And
the men of Israel, beside Benjamin, were numbered four hundred thousand men that
drew sword: all these were men of war.
07-20:25 And
Benjamin went forth against them out of Gibeah the second day, and destroyed
down to the ground of the children of Israel again eighteen thousand men; all these drew the sword.
07-20:35 And
the LORD smote Benjamin before Israel: and the children of Israel destroyed of
the Benjamites that day twenty and five thousand and an hundred men: all these drew the sword.
07-20:44 And
there fell of Benjamin eighteen thousand men; all these
were men of valour.
07-20:46 So
that all which fell that day of Benjamin were twenty and five thousand men that
drew the sword; all these were men of valour.
08-3:17 And
she said, These six measures of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto
thy mother in law.
08-4:18 Now
these are the
generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron,
09-4:8 Woe
unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these
mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.
09-6:17 And
these are the
golden emerods which the Philistines returned for a trespass offering unto the LORD; for Ashdod one, for Gaza
one, for Askelon one, for Gath one, for Ekron one;
09-10:7 And
let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for
God is with thee.
09-14:6 And
Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over
unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may
be that the LORD will work for us: for there
is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.
09-14:8 Then
said Jonathan, Behold, we will pass over unto these men, and we will discover
ourselves unto them.
09-14:49 Now
the sons of Saul were Jonathan, and Ishui, and Melchishua: and the names of his
two daughters were these; the name of the firstborn Merab, and the
name of the younger Michal:
09-16:10 Again,
Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse,
The LORD hath not chosen these.
09-17:17 And
Jesse said unto David his son, Take now for thy brethren an ephah of this
parched corn, and these ten loaves, and run to the camp to thy brethren;
09-17:18 And
carry these ten cheeses unto the captain of their thousand, and look how thy
brethren fare, and take their pledge.
09-17:39 And
David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not
proved it. And David said unto Saul,
I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.
09-18:26 And
when his servants told David these words, it
pleased David well to be the king’s son in law: and the days were not expired.
09-21:5 And
David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women have been kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of
the young men are holy, and the bread is in
a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel.
09-21:12 And
David laid up these words in his heart, and was
sore afraid of Achish the king of Gath.
09-23:2 Therefore
David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go,
and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.
09-24:7 So
David stayed his servants with these words, and suffered
them not to rise against Saul. But Saul rose up out of the cave, and went on his way.
09-24:16 And
it came to pass, when David had made an end of speaking these words unto Saul, that Saul said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And Saul lifted up his voice, and
wept.
09-25:37 But
it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his
wife had told him these things, that his heart
died within him, and he became as a
stone.
09-29:3 Then
said the princes of the Philistines, What do
these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul
the king of Israel, which hath been with me these
days, or these years, and I have found no fault
in him since he fell unto me unto
this day?
09-29:4 And
the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the
Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his
place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle,
lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile
himself unto his master? should it not
be with the heads of these men?
09-31:4 Then
said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through
therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and
thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was
sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.
10-3:5 And
the sixth, Ithream, by Eglah David’s wife. These
were born to David in Hebron.
10-3:39 And
I am this day weak, though anointed
king; and these men the sons of Zeruiah be too hard for me: the LORD shall
reward the doer of evil according to his wickedness.
10-5:14 And
these be the
names of those that were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shammuah, and Shobab, and
Nathan, and Solomon,
10-7:17 According
to all these words, and according to all this
vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
10-7:21 For
thy word’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them.
10-13:21 But
when king David heard of all these things, he
was very wroth.
10-14:19 And
the king said, Is not the hand of
Joab with thee in all this? And the woman answered and said, As thy soul liveth, my lord the king,
none can turn to the right hand or to the left from ought that my lord the king
hath spoken: for thy servant Joab, he bade me, and he put all these words in the mouth of thine handmaid:
10-16:2 And
the king said unto Ziba, What meanest thou by these?
And Ziba said, The asses be for the
king’s household to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men
to eat; and the wine, that such as be faint in the wilderness may drink.
10-21:22 These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by
the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
10-23:1 Now
these be the
last words of David. David the son of Jesse said, and the man who was raised up on high, the anointed
of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel, said,
10-23:8 These be the
names of the mighty men whom David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat,
chief among the captains; the same was Adino
the Eznite: he lift up his spear against
eight hundred, whom he slew at one time.
10-23:17 And
he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their
lives? therefore he would not drink it. These
things did these three mighty men.
10-23:22 These things did
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and had the name among three mighty men.
10-24:17 And
David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people, and
said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these
sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and
against my father’s house.
10-24:23 All
these things
did Araunah, as a king, give unto
the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The LORD thy God accept thee.
11-4:2 And
these were
the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,
11-4:8 And
these are their
names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:
11-7:9 All
these were
of costly stones, according to the measures of hewed stones, sawed with
saws, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and so on the outside toward the great
court.
11-7:45 And
the pots, and the shovels, and the basons: and all these
vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, were of bright brass.
11-8:59 And
let these my words, wherewith I have made
supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that
he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all
times, as the matter shall require:
11-9:13 And
he said, What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called
them the land of Cabul unto this day.
11-9:23 These were the
chief of the officers that were over
Solomon’s work, five hundred and fifty, which bare rule over the people that
wrought in the work.
11-10:8 Happy
are thy men, happy are these
thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.
11-10:10 And
she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very
great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices
as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king
Solomon.
11-11:2 Of
the nations concerning which the LORD
said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall
they come in unto you: for surely
they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
11-17:1 And
Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the
inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As
the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew
nor rain these years, but according to my word.
11-17:17 And
it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress
of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath
left in him.
11-18:36 And
it came to pass at the time of the
offering of the evening sacrifice,
that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of
Israel, let it be known this day that thou art
God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at
thy word.
11-20:19 So
these young men of the princes of the provinces
came out of the city, and the army which followed them.

the LORD, With these shalt thou push the
Syrians, until thou have consumed them.
11-22:17 And
he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a
shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no
master: let them return every man to his house in peace.
11-22:23 Now
therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil
concerning thee.
12-1:7 And
he said unto them, What manner of man was
he which came up to meet you, and told you these
words?
12-1:13 And
he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third

besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and
the life of these fifty thy servants, be
precious in thy sight.

three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab.
12-6:20 And

the eyes of these men, that they may see. And the LORD opened their eyes, and they
saw; and, behold, they were in the
midst of Samaria.
12-7:8 And
when these lepers came to the uttermost part of

also, and went and hid it.

these nations feared the LORD, and served their
graven images, both their children, and their children’s children: as did their
fathers, so do they unto this day.
12-18:27 But

speak these words? hath he not sent me to

their own piss with you?
12-20:14 Then
came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And

as Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchres that were there in the mount, and sent, and took the bones out of the
sepulchres, and burned them upon the
altar, and polluted it, according to the word of the LORD which the man of God
proclaimed, who proclaimed these words.
12-23:17 Then
he said, What title is that that I
see? And the men of the city told him, It
is the sepulchre of the man of God, which came from Judah, and proclaimed these things that thou hast done against the altar of
Bethel.

these are the
numbers of the bands that were ready
armed to the war, and came to David
to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the
LORD.
13-12:38 All
these men of war, that could keep rank, came
with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the
rest also of Israel were of one heart
to make David king.
13-14:4 Now
these are the
names of his children which he had in
Jerusalem; Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon,
13-17:15 According
to all these words, and according to all this
vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
13-17:19 O
LORD, for thy servant’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done
all this greatness, in making known all these great things.
13-18:11 Them
also king David dedicated unto the LORD, with the silver and the gold that he
brought from all these
nations; from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from
the Philistines, and from Amalek.
13-20:8 These were born unto the giant in Gath; and they fell
by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
13-21:17 And
David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be
numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these
sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on
me, and on my father’s house; but not on thy people, that they should be
plagued.
13-23:9 The
sons of Shimei; Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haran, three. These were the
chief of the fathers of Laadan.
13-23:10 And
the sons of Shimei were, Jahath,
Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah. These four were the sons of Shimei.
13-23:24 These were the
sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; even the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of
names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the
LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward.
13-24:1 Now
these are the
divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar,
and Ithamar.
13-24:19 These were the
orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD,
according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel
had commanded him.
13-24:20 And
the rest of the sons of Levi were these: Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons
of Shubael; Jehdeiah.
13-24:30 The
sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These
were the sons of the Levites after
the house of their fathers.
13-24:31 These likewise cast lots over against their brethren
the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech,
and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal
fathers over against their younger brethren.
13-25:5 All
these were
the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn.
And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
13-25:6 All
these were
under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for
the service of the house of God, according to the king’s order to Asaph,
Jeduthun, and Heman.
13-26:8 All
these of the sons of Obededom: they and their
sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, were threescore and two of Obededom.
13-26:12 Among
these were
the divisions of the porters, even among
the chief men, having wards one
against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.
13-26:19 These are the
divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.
13-27:22 Of
Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of
Israel.
13-27:31 And
over the flocks was Jaziz the
Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David’s.
13-29:17 I
know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in
uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly
offered all these things: and now have I seen
with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.
13-29:19 And
give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy
testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the
palace, for the which I have made
provision.
14-3:3 Now
these are
the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of
God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
14-3:13 The
wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth
twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
14-4:18 Thus
Solomon made all these vessels in great
abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.
14-5:5 And
they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the
holy vessels that were in the
tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.
14-8:10 And
these were
the chief of king Solomon’s officers, even
two hundred and fifty, that bare rule over the people.
14-9:7 Happy
are thy men, and happy are these
thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.
14-14:7 Therefore
he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities,
and make about them walls, and
towers, gates, and bars, while the
land is yet before us; because we
have sought the LORD our God, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and
prospered.
14-14:8 And
Asa had an army of men that bare
targets and spears, out of Judah three hundred thousand; and out of Benjamin, that
bare shields and drew bows, two hundred and fourscore thousand: all these were mighty
men of valour.
14-15:8 And
when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of
Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all
the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from
mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.
14-17:14 And
these are the
numbers of them according to the house of their fathers: Of Judah, the captains
of thousands; Adnah the chief, and with him mighty men of valour three hundred
thousand.
14-17:19 These waited on the king, beside those whom the king put in the fenced cities throughout all Judah.
14-18:10 And
Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith
the LORD, With these thou shalt push Syria until
they be consumed.
14-18:16 Then
he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have
no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no
master; let them return therefore every
man to his house in peace.
14-18:22 Now
therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil
against thee.
14-21:2 And
he had brethren the sons of Jehoshaphat, Azariah, and Jehiel, and Zechariah,
and Azariah, and Michael, and Shephatiah: all these
were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of
Israel.
14-24:26 And
these are they that conspired against him; Zabad
the son of Shimeath an Ammonitess, and Jehozabad the son of Shimrith a
Moabitess.
14-29:32 And
the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was
threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.
14-32:1 After
these things, and the establishment thereof,
Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against
the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself.
14-35:7 And
Josiah gave to the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all for the passover
offerings, for all that were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and
three thousand bullocks: these were of the king’s substance.
14-36:18 And
all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the
house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he
brought to Babylon.
15-1:11 All
the vessels of gold and of silver were five
thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought
up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.
15-2:1 Now
these are the
children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had
been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away
unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;
15-2:59 And
these were
they which went up from Telmelah, Telharsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their
father’s house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
15-2:62 These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not
found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
15-4:21 Give
ye now commandment to cause these men to cease,
and that this city be not builded, until another
commandment shall be given from me.
15-5:9 Then
asked we those elders, and said unto
them thus, Who commanded you to build this house, and to make up these walls?
15-5:11 And
thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven
and earth, and build the house that was builded these
many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up.
15-5:15 And
said unto him, Take these vessels, go, carry them
into the temple that is in Jerusalem,
and let the house of God be builded in his place.
15-6:8 Moreover
I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these
Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king’s goods, even of the tribute beyond the river,
forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that
they be not hindered.
15-7:1 Now
after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes
king of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of
Hilkiah,
15-8:1 These are now
the chief of their fathers, and this is the
genealogy of them that went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes
the king.
15-8:13 And
of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are
these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and
with them threescore males.
15-9:1 Now
when these things were done, the princes came to
me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not
separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the
Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.
15-9:14 Should
we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us
till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?
15-10:44 All
these had taken strange wives: and some of them had wives by whom they had
children.
16-1:4 And
it came to pass, when I heard these words, that
I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days,
and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,
16-1:10 Now
these are thy
servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy
strong hand.
16-4:2 And
he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will
they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out
of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
16-5:6 And
I was very angry when I heard their cry and these
words.
16-6:6 Wherein
was written, It is reported among the
heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou
and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou
mayest be their king, according to these words.
16-6:7 And
thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall
it be reported to the king according to these
words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together.
16-6:14 My
God, think thou upon Tobiah and Sanballat according to these
their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that
would have put me in fear.
16-6:16 And
it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their
own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God.
16-7:6 These are the
children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had
been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away,
and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;
16-7:61 And
these were
they which went up also from
Telmelah, Telharesha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shew their
father’s house, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.
16-7:64 These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found:
therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
16-10:8 Maaziah,
Bilgai, Shemaiah: these were the priests.
16-11:3 Now
these are the
chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt
every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims,
and the children of Solomon’s servants.
16-11:7 And
these are the
sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of
Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of
Jesaiah.
16-12:1 Now
these are the
priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and
Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
16-12:7 Sallu,
Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chief of the priests and of
their brethren in the days of Jeshua.
16-12:26 These were in
the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of
Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.
16-13:26 Did
not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things?
yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God,
and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish
women cause to sin.
17-1:5 And
when these days were expired, the king made a
feast unto all the people that were present in Shushan the palace, both unto
great and small, seven days, in the court of the garden of the king’s palace;
17-2:1 After
these things, when the wrath of king Ahasuerus
was appeased, he remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed
against her.
17-3:1 After
these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman
the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all
the princes that were with him.
17-4:11 All
the king’s servants, and the people of the king’s provinces, do know, that
whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court,
who is not called, there is one law
of his to put him to death, except
such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but
I have not been called to come in unto the king these
thirty days.
17-9:20 And
Mordecai wrote these things, and sent letters
unto all the Jews that were in all
the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, both
nigh and far,
17-9:26 Wherefore
they called these days Purim after the name of
Pur. Therefore for all the words of this letter, and of that which they had seen concerning this matter, and which had
come unto them,
17-9:27 The
Jews ordained, and took upon them, and upon their seed, and upon all such as
joined themselves unto them, so as it should not fail, that they would keep these two days according to their writing, and
according to their appointed time
every year;
17-9:28 And
that these
days should be remembered and kept
throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city; and that these
days of Purim should not fail from among the Jews, nor the memorial of them
perish from their seed.
17-9:31 To
confirm these days of Purim in their times appointed, according as Mordecai the Jew
and Esther the queen had enjoined them, and as they had decreed for themselves
and for their seed, the matters of the fastings and their cry.
17-9:32 And
the decree of Esther confirmed these matters of
Purim; and it was written in the book.
18-8:2 How
long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the
words of thy mouth be like a strong
wind?
18-10:13 And
these things
hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this is with thee.
18-12:3 But
I have understanding as well as you; I am
not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
18-12:9 Who
knoweth not in all these that the hand of the
LORD hath wrought this?
18-19:3 These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not
ashamed that ye make yourselves
strange to me.
18-26:14 Lo,
these are parts
of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his
power who can understand?
18-32:1 So
these three men ceased to answer Job, because he
was righteous in his own eyes.
18-32:5 When
Elihu saw that there was no answer in
the mouth of these
three men, then his wrath was kindled.
18-33:29 Lo,
all these things
worketh God oftentimes with man,
18-42:7 And
it was so, that after the LORD had
spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to
Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two
friends: for ye have not spoken of me the
thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
19-15:5 He that putteth not out his money to
usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall
never be moved.
19-42:4 When
I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the
multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise,
with a multitude that kept holyday.
19-50:21 These things hast
thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
19-57:1 Be
merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee:
yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities
be overpast.
19-73:12 Behold,
these are the
ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
19-104:27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.
19-107:24 These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in
the deep.
19-107:43 Whoso
is wise, and will observe these things, even
they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
20-6:16 These six things
doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an
abomination unto him:
20-24:23 These things also
belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of
persons in judgment.
20-25:1 These are also
proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out.
21-7:10 Say
not thou, What is the cause that the
former days were better than these? for thou
dost not enquire wisely concerning this.
21-11:9 Rejoice,
O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy
youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but
know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into
judgment.
21-12:12 And
further, by these, my son, be admonished: of
making many books there is no end;
and much study is a weariness of the
flesh.
23-7:4 And
say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for
the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for
the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.
23-34:16 Seek
ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these
shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his
spirit it hath gathered them.
23-36:12 But
Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath
he not sent me to the men that
sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss
with you?
23-36:20 Who
are they among all the gods of these lands, that have delivered their land out of my
hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?
23-38:16 O
Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt
thou recover me, and make me to live.
23-39:3 Then
came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And
Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon.
23-40:26 Lift
up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these
things, that bringeth out their host
by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that
he is strong in power; not one
faileth.
23-42:16 And
I will bring the blind by a way that they
knew not; I will lead them in paths that they
have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things
straight. These things will I do unto them, and
not forsake them.
23-44:21 Remember
these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou
art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt
not be forgotten of me.
23-45:7 I
form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD
do all these things.
23-47:7 And
thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so
that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst
remember the latter end of it.
23-47:9 But
these two things
shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and
widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of
thy sorceries, and for the great
abundance of thine enchantments.
23-47:13 Thou
art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the
stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that
shall come upon thee.
23-48:14 All
ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The
LORD hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
23-49:12 Behold,
these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.
23-49:18 Lift
up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these
gather themselves together, and come
to thee. As I live, saith the LORD,
thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them
on thee, as a bride doeth.
23-49:21 Then
shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these,
seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and
fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I
was left alone; these, where had they been?
23-51:19 These two things
are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and
destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee?
23-57:6 Among
the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou
poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive
comfort in these?
23-60:8 Who
are these
that fly as a cloud, and as the doves
to their windows?
23-64:12 Wilt
thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy
peace, and afflict us very sore?
23-65:5 Which
say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a
smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
24-2:34 Also
in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not
found it by secret search, but upon all these.
24-3:7 And
I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she
returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
24-3:12 Go
and proclaim these words toward the north, and
say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.
24-4:18 Thy
way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness, because it is bitter,
because it reacheth unto thine heart.
24-5:4 Therefore
I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.
24-5:5 I
will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known
the way of the LORD, and the judgment
of their God: but these have altogether broken
the yoke, and burst the bonds.
24-5:9 Shall
I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a
nation as this?
24-5:19 And
it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things unto
us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served
strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.
24-5:25 Your
iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden
good things from you.
24-5:29 Shall
I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a
nation as this?
24-7:2 Stand
in the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear
the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah,
that enter in at these gates to worship the
LORD.
24-7:4 Trust
ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD,
The temple of the LORD, are these.
24-7:10 And
come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We
are delivered to do all these abominations?
24-7:13 And
now, because ye have done all these works, saith
the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not;
and I called you, but ye answered not;
24-7:27 Therefore
thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but
they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will
not answer thee.
24-9:9 Shall
I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a
nation as this?
24-9:24 But
let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that
I am the LORD which exercise
lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I
delight, saith the LORD.
24-9:26 Egypt,
and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that are in the utmost corners, that
dwell in the wilderness: for all these nations are
uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.
24-10:11 Thus
shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth,
and from under these heavens.
24-11:6 Then
the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in
the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words
of this covenant, and do them.
24-13:22 And
if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these
things upon me? For the greatness of thine iniquity are thy skirts discovered, and thy heels made bare.
24-14:22 Are
there any among the vanities of the
Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God?
therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.
24-16:10 And
it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore
hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed
against the LORD our God?
24-17:20 And
say unto them, Hear ye the word of the LORD, ye kings of Judah, and all Judah,
and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these
gates:
24-20:1 Now
Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was
also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah
prophesied these things.
24-22:2 And
say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne
of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates:
24-22:5 But
if ye will not hear these words, I swear by
myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.
24-23:21 I
have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I
have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
24-24:5 Thus
saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these
good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah,
whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
24-25:9 Behold,
I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and
Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against
this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy
them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.
24-25:11 And
this whole land shall be a desolation, and
an astonishment; and these nations shall
serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
24-25:30 Therefore
prophesy thou against them all these words, and
say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his
holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a
shout, as they that tread the grapes, against
all the inhabitants of the earth.
24-26:7 So
the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.
24-26:10 When
the princes of Judah heard these things, then
they came up from the king’s house unto the house of the LORD, and sat down in
the entry of the new gate of the LORD’S house.
24-26:15 But
know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent
blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof:
for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.
24-27:6 And
now have I given all these lands into the hand
of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field
have I given him also to serve him.
24-27:12 I
spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these
words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and
serve him and his people, and live.
24-28:14 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon
the neck of all these nations, that they may
serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have
given him the beasts of the field also.
24-29:1 Now
these are the
words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the
residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and
to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away
captive from Jerusalem to Babylon;
24-30:4 And
these are the
words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
24-30:15 Why
criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have
done these things unto thee.
24-31:21 Set
thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
24-32:14 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these
evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this
evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may
continue many days.
24-34:6 Then
Jeremiah the prophet spake all these words unto
Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem,
24-34:7 When
the king of Babylon’s army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities
of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah.
24-36:16 Now
it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one
and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words.
24-36:17 And
they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us now, How didst thou write all these words at his mouth?
24-36:18 Then
Baruch answered them, He pronounced all these
words unto me with his mouth, and I wrote them
with ink in the book.
24-36:24 Yet
they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words.
24-38:9 My
lord the king, these men have done evil in all
that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the
dungeon; and he is like to die for hunger in the place where he is: for there is no more bread in the city.
24-38:12 And
Ebedmelech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah, Put now these old cast clouts and rotten
rags under thine armholes under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.
24-38:16 So
Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, As the LORD liveth, that made us this soul, I will not put thee to
death, neither will I give thee into the hand of these
men that seek thy life.
24-38:24 Then
said Zedekiah unto Jeremiah, Let no man know of these
words, and thou shalt not die.
24-38:27 Then
came all the princes unto Jeremiah, and asked him: and he told them according
to all these words that the king had commanded.
So they left off speaking with him; for the matter was not perceived.
24-43:1 And
it came to pass, that when Jeremiah
had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the LORD their
God, for which the LORD their God had sent him to them, even all these words,
24-43:10 And
say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will
send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his
throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he
shall spread his royal pavilion over them.
24-45:1 The
word that Jeremiah the prophet spake unto Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had
written these words in a book at the mouth of
Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah,
saying,
24-51:60 So
Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these
words that are written against Babylon.
24-51:61 And
Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt
read all these words;
24-52:20 The
two pillars, one sea, and twelve brasen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of
the LORD: the brass of all these vessels was
without weight.
24-52:22 And
a chapiter of brass was upon it; and
the height of one chapiter was five
cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the chapiters round about, all of brass. The second pillar also and the
pomegranates were like unto these.
25-1:16 For
these things
I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter
that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because
the enemy prevailed.
25-4:9 They that be slain with the sword are
better than they that be slain with
hunger: for these pine away, stricken through
for want of the fruits of the field.
25-5:17 For
this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim.
26-1:21 When
those went, these
went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from
the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the
living creature was in the wheels.
26-8:15 Then
said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O
son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou
shalt see greater abominations than these.
26-10:17 When
they stood, these
stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.
26-11:2 Then
said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and
give wicked counsel in this city:
26-14:3 Son
of man, these men have set up their idols in
their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face:
should I be enquired of at all by them?
26-14:14 Though
these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in
it, they should deliver but their own
souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.
26-14:16 Though these
three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they
shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the
land shall be desolate.
26-14:18 Though
these three men were in it, as I live,
saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they
only shall be delivered themselves.
26-16:5 None
eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee,
to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the
loathing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.
26-16:20 Moreover
thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter,
26-16:30 How
weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the
work of an imperious whorish woman;
26-16:43 Because
thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold,
therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this
lewdness above all thine abominations.
26-17:12 Say
now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these
things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is
come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof,
and led them with him to Babylon;
26-17:18 Seeing
he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand,
and hath done all these things, he shall not escape.
26-18:10 If
he beget a son that is a robber, a
shedder of blood, and that doeth the
like to any one of these things,
26-18:13 Hath
given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall
not live: he hath done all these abominations;
he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.
26-23:10 These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and
her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women;
for they had executed judgment upon her.
26-23:30 I
will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the
heathen, and because thou art
polluted with their idols.
26-24:19 And
the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these
things are to us, that thou doest so?
26-27:21 Arabia,
and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats:
in these were
they thy merchants.
26-27:24 These were thy
merchants in all sorts of things, in
blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with
cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.
26-30:17 The
young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall
go into captivity.
26-35:10 Because
thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess
it; whereas the LORD was there:
26-36:20 And
when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy
name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone
forth out of his land.
26-37:3 And
he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones
live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
26-37:4 Again
he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and
say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
26-37:5 Thus
saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I
will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
26-37:9 Then
said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the
wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe
upon these slain, that they may live.
26-37:11 Then
he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the
whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is
lost: we are cut off for our parts.
26-37:18 And
when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew
us what thou meanest by these?
26-40:24 After
that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south: and he
measured the posts thereof and the arches thereof according to these measures.
26-40:28 And
he brought me to the inner court by the south gate: and he measured the south
gate according to these measures;
26-40:29 And
the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof,
according to these measures: and there were windows in it and in the
arches thereof round about: it was fifty
cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.
26-40:32 And
he brought me into the inner court toward the east: and he measured the gate
according to these measures.
26-40:33 And
the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, were according to these measures: and there were windows therein and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and
twenty cubits broad.
26-40:35 And
he brought me to the north gate, and measured it according to these measures;
26-40:46 And
the chamber whose prospect is toward
the north is for the priests, the
keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of
Levi, which come near to the LORD to minister unto him.
26-42:5 Now
the upper chambers were shorter: for
the galleries were higher than these, than the
lower, and than the middlemost of the building.
26-42:9 And
from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the
utter court.
26-43:13 And
these are the
measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a
cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.
26-43:18 And
he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These
are the ordinances of the altar in
the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to
sprinkle blood thereon.
26-43:27 And
when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your
burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept
you, saith the Lord GOD.
26-46:22 In
the four corners of the court there were courts
joined of forty cubits long and
thirty broad: these four corners were of one measure.
26-46:24 Then
said he unto me, These are the places of them that boil, where the ministers of the house
shall boil the sacrifice of the people.
26-47:8 Then
said he unto me, These waters issue out toward
the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea,
the waters shall be healed.
26-47:9 And
it shall come to pass, that every thing
that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and
there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these
waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live
whither the river cometh.
26-48:1 Now
these are the
names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as
one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast
of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan.
26-48:16 And
these shall
be the measures thereof; the north side four thousand and five hundred, and
the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four
thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.
26-48:29 This
is the land which ye shall divide by
lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these
are their portions, saith the Lord
GOD.
26-48:30 And
these are the
goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred
measures.
27-1:6 Now
among these were of the children of Judah,
Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:
27-1:17 As
for these four children, God gave them knowledge
and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all
visions and dreams.
27-2:28 But
there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king
Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of
thy head upon thy bed, are these;
27-2:40 And
the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in
pieces and subdueth all things: and
as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break
in pieces and bruise.
27-2:44 And
in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven
set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be
left to other people, but it shall
break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms,
and it shall stand for ever.
27-3:12 There
are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of
Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these
men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the
golden image which thou hast set up.
27-3:13 Then
Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury
commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.
27-3:21 Then
these men were bound in their coats, their
hosen, and their hats, and their other garments,
and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
27-3:23 And
these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
27-3:27 And
the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being
gathered together, saw these men, upon whose
bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither
were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
27-6:2 And
over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give
accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
27-6:5 Then
said these men, We shall not find any occasion
against this Daniel, except we find it against
him concerning the law of his God.
27-6:6 Then
these presidents and princes assembled together
to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.
27-6:11 Then
these men assembled, and found Daniel praying
and making supplication before his God.
27-6:14 Then
the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and
set his heart on Daniel to deliver
him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.
27-6:15 Then
these men assembled unto the king, and said unto
the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the
king establisheth may be changed.
27-7:17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
27-10:21 But
I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
27-11:6 And
in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s
daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement:
but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his
arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat
her, and he that strengthened her in these times.
27-11:27 And
both these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table;
but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall
be at the time appointed.
27-11:41 He
shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these
shall escape out of his hand, even Edom,
and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
27-12:6 And
one said to the man clothed in linen,
which was upon the waters of the
river, How long shall it be to the
end of these wonders?
27-12:7 And
I heard the man clothed in linen, which was
upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left
hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an
half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy
people, all these things shall be finished.
27-12:8 And
I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
28-2:12 And
I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my
rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the
beasts of the field shall eat them.
28-14:9 Who
is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent,
and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors
shall fall therein.
30-6:2 Pass
ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go
down to Gath of the Philistines: be they better
than these kingdoms? or their border greater
than your border?
33-2:7 O
thou that art named the house of
Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my
words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
35-2:6 Shall
not all these take up a parable against him, and
a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to
him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
37-2:13 Then
said Haggai, If one that is unclean
by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean?
And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
38-1:9 Then
said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me,
I will shew thee what these be.
38-1:10 And
the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom
the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
38-1:12 Then
the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou
not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast
had indignation these threescore and ten years?
38-1:19 And
I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the
horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
38-1:21 Then
said I, What come these to do? And he spake,
saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift
up his head: but these are come to fray them, to
cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
38-3:7 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my
charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and
I will give thee places to walk among these that
stand by.
38-4:4 So
I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these,
my lord?
38-4:5 Then
the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
38-4:11 Then
answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the
left side thereof?
38-4:12 And
I answered again, and said unto him, What be
these two olive branches which through the
two golden pipes empty the golden oil out
of themselves?
38-4:13 And
he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these
be? And I said, No, my lord.
38-4:14 Then
said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole
earth.
38-5:10 Then
said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these
bear the ephah?
38-6:4 Then
I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these,
my lord?
38-6:5 And
the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens,
which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
38-6:8 Then
cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these
that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.
38-7:3 And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts,
and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating
myself, as I have done these so many years?
38-8:6 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this
people in these days, should it also be
marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.
38-8:9 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words
by the mouth of the prophets, which were in
the day that the foundation of the
house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
38-8:10 For
before these days there was no hire for man, nor
any hire for beast; neither was there any
peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set
all men every one against his neighbour.
38-8:12 For
the seed shall be prosperous; the
vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the
heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to
possess all these things.
38-8:15 So
again have I thought in these days to do well
unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
38-8:16 These are the
things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute
the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
38-8:17 And
let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no
false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.
38-13:6 And
one shall say unto him, What are these
wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in
the house of my friends.
38-14:15 And
so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass,
and of all the beasts that shall be in these
tents, as this plague.
40-1:20 But
while he thought on these things, behold, the
angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of
David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in
her is of the Holy Ghost.
40-2:3 When
Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem
with him.
40-3:9 And
think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
40-4:3 And
when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
40-4:9 And
saith unto him, All these things will I give
thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
40-5:19 Whosoever
therefore shall break one of these least
commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the
kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
40-5:37 But
let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
40-6:29 And
yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one
of these.
40-6:32 (For
after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for
your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these
things.
40-6:33 But
seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
40-7:24 Therefore
whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth
them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
40-7:26 And
every one that heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house
upon the sand:
40-7:28 And
it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these
sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
40-9:18 While
he spake these things unto them, behold, there
came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead:
but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
40-10:2 Now
the names of the twelve apostles are these; The
first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his
brother;
40-10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them,
saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
40-10:42 And
whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these
little ones a cup of cold water only
in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his
reward.
40-11:25 At
that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and
earth, because thou hast hid these things from
the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
40-13:34 All
these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in
parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
40-13:51 Jesus
saith unto them, Have ye understood all these
things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
40-13:53 And
it came to pass, that when Jesus had
finished these parables, he departed thence.
40-13:54 And
when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue,
insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty
works?
40-13:56 And
his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these
things?
40-15:20 These are the
things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a
man.
40-18:6 But
whoso shall offend one of these little ones which
believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his
neck, and that he were drowned in the
depth of the sea.
40-18:10 Take
heed that ye despise not one of these little
ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face
of my Father which is in heaven.
40-18:14 Even
so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
40-19:1 And
it came to pass, that when Jesus had
finished these sayings, he departed from
Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;
40-19:20 The
young man saith unto him, All these things have
I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
40-20:12 Saying,
These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have
borne the burden and heat of the day.
40-20:21 And
he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand,
and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
40-21:16 And
said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And
Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and
sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
40-21:23 And
when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the
people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou
these things? and who gave thee this authority?
40-21:24 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye
tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
40-21:27 And
they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither
tell I you by what authority I do these things.
40-22:22 When
they had heard these
words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
40-22:40 On
these two commandments hang all the law and the
prophets.
40-23:23 Woe
unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise
and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters
of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these
ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
40-23:36 Verily
I say unto you, All these things shall come upon
this generation.
40-24:2 And
Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things?
verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another,
that shall not be thrown down.
40-24:3 And
as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately,
saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and
what shall be the sign of thy coming,
and of the end of the world?
40-24:6 And
ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all
these
things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
40-24:8 All
these are the
beginning of sorrows.
40-24:33 So
likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things,
know that it is near, even at the
doors.
40-24:34 Verily
I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
40-25:40 And
the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye
have done it unto one of the least of
these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
40-25:45 Then
shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it
not to me.
40-25:46 And
these shall go away into everlasting punishment:
but the righteous into life eternal.
40-26:1 And
it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these
sayings, he said unto his disciples,
40-26:62 And
the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these
witness against thee?
41-2:8 And
immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within
themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these
things in your hearts?
41-4:11 And
he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of
God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
41-4:15 And
these are they by the way side, where the word is
sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the
word that was sown in their hearts.
41-4:16 And
these are they likewise which are sown on stony
ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
41-4:18 And
these are they which are sown among thorns; such
as hear the word,
41-4:20 And
these are they which are sown on good ground;
such as hear the word, and receive it, and
bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
41-6:2 And
when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many
hearing him were astonished, saying,
From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are
wrought by his hands?
41-7:23 All
these evil things come from within, and defile
the man.
41-8:4 And
his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with
bread here in the wilderness?
41-9:42 And
whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better
for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the
sea.
41-10:20 And
he answered and said unto him, Master, all these
have I observed from my youth.
41-11:28 And
say unto him, By what authority doest thou these
things? and who gave thee this authority to do these
things?
41-11:29 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and
answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these
things.
41-11:33 And
they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith
unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
41-12:31 And
the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy
neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
41-12:40 Which
devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.
41-13:2 And
Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great
buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be
thrown down.
41-13:4 Tell
us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
41-13:8 For
nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall
be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the
beginnings of sorrows.
41-13:29 So
ye in like manner, when ye shall see these
things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even
at the doors.
41-13:30 Verily
I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
41-14:60 And
the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou
nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?
41-16:17 And
these signs shall follow them that believe; In
my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
42-1:19 And
the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of
God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these
glad tidings.
42-1:20 And,
behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou
believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.
42-1:65 And
fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these
sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea.
42-2:19 But
Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
42-2:51 And
he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but
his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
42-3:8 Bring
forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within
yourselves, We have Abraham to our father:
for I say unto you, That God is able of these
stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
42-4:28 And
all they in the synagogue, when they heard these
things, were filled with wrath,
42-5:27 And
after these things he went forth, and saw a publican,
named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.
42-7:9 When
Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him,
and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto
you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
42-7:18 And
the disciples of John shewed him of all these
things.
42-8:8 And
other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And
when he had said these things, he cried, He that
hath ears to hear, let him hear.
42-8:13 They
on the rock are they, which, when
they hear, receive the word with joy; and these
have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
42-8:21 And
he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.
42-9:28 And
it came to pass about an eight days after these
sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
42-9:44 Let
these sayings sink down into your ears: for the
Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.
42-10:1 After
these things the Lord appointed other seventy
also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place,
whither he himself would come.
42-10:21 In
that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of
heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these
things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so,
Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
42-10:36 Which
now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour
unto him that fell among the thieves?
42-11:27 And
it came to pass, as he spake these things, a
certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps
which thou hast sucked.
42-11:42 But
woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and
pass over judgment and the love of God: these
ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
42-11:53 And
as he said these things unto them, the scribes
and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently,
and to provoke him to speak of many things:
42-12:27 Consider
the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you,
that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
42-12:30 For
all these things do the nations of the world
seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
42-12:31 But
rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these
things shall be added unto you.
42-13:2 And
Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these
Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such
things?
42-13:7 Then
said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these
three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down;
why cumbereth it the ground?
42-13:16 And
ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the
sabbath day?
42-13:17 And
when he had said these things, all his
adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious
things that were done by him.
42-14:6 And
they could not answer him again to these things.
42-14:15 And
when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these
things, he said unto him, Blessed is he
that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.
42-14:21 So
that servant came, and shewed his lord these
things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out
quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor,
and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
42-15:26 And
he called one of the servants, and asked what these
things meant.
42-15:29 And
he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed
I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might
make merry with my friends:
42-16:14 And
the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these
things: and they derided him.
42-17:2 It
were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast
into the sea, than that he should offend one of these
little ones.
42-18:21 And
he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
42-18:22 Now
when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him,
Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the
poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
42-18:34 And
they understood none of these things: and this
saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
42-19:11 And
as they heard these things, he added and spake a
parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the
kingdom of God should immediately appear.
42-19:15 And
it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then
he commanded these servants to be called unto
him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had
gained by trading.
42-19:40 And
he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these
should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
42-20:2 And
spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this
authority?
42-20:8 And
Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
42-20:16 He
shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and
shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.
42-21:4 For
all these have of their abundance cast in unto
the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that
she had.
42-21:6 As for these
things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be
left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
42-21:7 And
they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these
things be? and what sign will there be when
these things shall come to pass?
42-21:9 But
when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
42-21:12 But
before all these, they shall lay their hands on
you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into
prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.
42-21:22 For
these be the days of vengeance, that all things
which are written may be fulfilled.
42-21:28 And
when these things begin to come to pass, then
look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
42-21:31 So
likewise ye, when ye see these things come to
pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
42-21:36 Watch
ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand
before the Son of man.
42-23:31 For
if they do these things in a green tree, what
shall be done in the dry?
42-23:49 And
all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar
off, beholding these things.
42-24:9 And
returned from the sepulchre, and told all these
things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.
42-24:10 It
was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the
mother of James, and other women that
were with them, which told these things unto
the apostles.
42-24:14 And
they talked together of all these things which
had happened.
42-24:17 And
he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to
another, as ye walk, and are sad?
42-24:18 And
the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only
a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass
there in these days?
42-24:21 But
we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside
all this, to day is the third day since these
things were done.
42-24:26 Ought
not Christ to have suffered these things, and to
enter into his glory?
42-24:44 And
he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that
all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
42-24:48 And
ye are witnesses of these things.
43-1:28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan,
where John was baptizing.
43-1:50 Jesus
answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig
tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.
43-2:16 And
said unto them that sold doves, Take these
things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.
43-2:18 Then
answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing
that thou doest these things?
43-3:2 The
same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a
teacher come from God: for no man can do these
miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
43-3:9 Nicodemus
answered and said unto him, How can these things
be?
43-3:10 Jesus
answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
43-3:22 After
these things came Jesus and his disciples into
the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
43-5:3 In
these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of
blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
43-5:16 And
therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had
done these things on the sabbath day.
43-5:19 Then
answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can
do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever
he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
43-5:20 For
the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and
he will shew him greater works than these, that
ye may marvel.
43-5:34 But
I receive not testimony from man: but these
things I say, that ye might be saved.
43-6:1 After
these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee,
which is the sea of Tiberias.
43-6:5 When
Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and
saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy
bread, that these may eat?
43-6:59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in
Capernaum.
43-7:1 After
these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he
would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
43-7:4 For
there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known
openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to
the world.
43-7:9 When
he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.
43-7:31 And
many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do
more miracles than these which this man hath done?
43-8:20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught
in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
43-8:28 Then
said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know
that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my
Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
43-8:30 As
he spake these words, many believed on him.
43-9:22 These words spake
his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already,
that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the
synagogue.
43-9:40 And
some of the Pharisees which were with
him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we
blind also?
43-10:19 There
was a division therefore again among the Jews for these
sayings.
43-10:21 Others
said, These are not the words of him that hath a
devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
43-11:11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto
them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
43-12:16 These things understood not his disciples at the
first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
43-12:36 While
ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide
himself from them.
43-12:41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and
spake of him.
43-13:17 If
ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do
them.
43-14:12 Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he
do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
43-14:25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
43-15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might
remain in you, and that your joy
might be full.
43-15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
43-15:21 But
all these things will they do unto you for my
name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
43-16:1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should
not be offended.
43-16:3 And
these things will they do unto you, because they
have not known the Father, nor me.
43-16:4 But
these things have I told you, that when the time
shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because
I was with you.
43-16:6 But
because I have said these things unto you,
sorrow hath filled your heart.
43-16:25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but
the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew
you plainly of the Father.
43-16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye
might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer;
I have overcome the world.
43-17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to
heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also
may glorify thee:
43-17:11 And
now I am no more in the world, but these are in
the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those
whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
43-17:13 And
now come I to thee; and these things I speak in
the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
43-17:20 Neither
pray I for these alone, but for them also which
shall believe on me through their word;
43-17:25 O
righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
43-18:1 When
Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with
his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he
entered, and his disciples.
43-18:8 Jesus
answered, I have told you that I am he: if
therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:
43-19:24 They
said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose
it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my
raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.
43-19:36 For
these things were done, that the scripture should
be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
43-20:18 Mary
Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
43-20:31 But
these are written, that ye might believe that
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life
through his name.
43-21:1 After
these things Jesus shewed himself again to the
disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.
43-21:15 So
when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these?
He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him,
Feed my lambs.
43-21:24 This
is the disciple which testifieth of these things,
and wrote these things: and we know that his
testimony is true.
44-1:9 And
when he had spoken these things, while they
beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
44-1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and
supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his
brethren.
44-1:21 Wherefore
of these men which have companied with us all
the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
44-1:24 And
they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,
44-2:7 And
they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
44-2:13 Others
mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
44-2:15 For
these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it
is but the third hour of the day.
44-2:22 Ye
men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of
Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs,
which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
44-3:24 Yea,
and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have
spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
44-4:16 Saying,
What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a
notable miracle hath been done by them is
manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
44-5:5 And
Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave
up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
44-5:11 And
great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.
44-5:24 Now
when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this
would grow.
44-5:32 And
we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath
given to them that obey him.
44-5:35 And
said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do
as touching these men.
44-5:36 For
before these days rose up Theudas, boasting
himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined
themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and
brought to nought.
44-5:38 And
now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and
let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to
nought:
44-7:1 Then
said the high priest, Are these things so?
44-7:50 Hath
not my hand made all these things?
44-7:54 When
they heard these things, they were cut to the
heart, and they gnashed on him with their
teeth.
44-8:24 Then
answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
44-10:8 And
when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa.
44-10:44 While
Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell
on all them which heard the word.
44-10:47 Can
any man forbid water, that these should not be
baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
44-11:12 And
the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into
the man’s house:
44-11:18 When
they heard these things, they held their peace,
and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted
repentance unto life.
44-11:22 Then
tidings of these things came unto the ears of
the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should
go as far as Antioch.
44-11:27 And
in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto
Antioch.
44-12:17 But
he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them
how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he
departed, and went into another place.
44-13:42 And
when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next
sabbath.
44-14:15 And
saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also
are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from
these vanities unto the living God, which made
heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
44-14:18 And
with these sayings scarce restrained they the
people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.
44-15:17 That
the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom
my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these
things.
44-15:28 For
it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden
than these necessary things;
44-16:17 The
same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These
men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of
salvation.
44-16:20 And
brought them to the magistrates, saying, These
men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,
44-16:38 And
the serjeants told these words unto the
magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.
44-17:6 And
when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers
of the city, crying, These that have turned the
world upside down are come hither also;
44-17:7 Whom
Jason hath received: and these all do contrary
to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus.
44-17:8 And
they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things.
44-17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in
that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the
scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
44-17:20 For
thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.
44-18:1 After
these things Paul departed from Athens, and came
to Corinth;
44-19:21 After
these things were ended, Paul purposed in the
spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem,
saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.
44-19:28 And
when they heard these
sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
44-19:36 Seeing
then that these things cannot be spoken against,
ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.
44-19:37 For
ye have brought hither these men, which are
neither robbers of churches, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess.
44-20:5 These going before tarried for us at Troas.
44-20:24 But
none of these things move me, neither count I my
life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the
ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the
grace of God.
44-20:34 Yea,
ye yourselves know, that these hands have
ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
44-21:12 And
when we heard these things, both we, and they of
that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.
44-21:38 Art
not thou that Egyptian, which before these days
madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that
were murderers?
44-23:22 So
the chief captain then let the young
man depart, and charged him, See thou tell
no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
44-24:8 Commanding
his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take
knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse
him.
44-24:9 And
the Jews also assented, saying that these things
were so.
44-24:20 Or
else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood
before the council,
44-24:22 And
when Felix heard these things, having more
perfect knowledge of that way, he
deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will
know the uttermost of your matter.
44-25:9 But
Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou
go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these
things before me?
44-25:11 For
if I be an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not
to die: but if there be none of these things
whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me
unto them. I appeal unto Caesar.
44-25:20 And
because I doubted of such manner of questions, I asked him whether he would go to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these matters.
44-26:16 But
rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose,
to make thee a minister and a witness both of these
things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear
unto thee;
44-26:21 For
these causes the Jews caught me in the temple,
and went about to kill me.
44-26:26 For
the king knoweth of these things, before whom
also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these
things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.
44-26:29 And
Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this
day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
44-27:31 Paul
said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these
abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.
44-28:29 And
when he had said these words, the Jews departed,
and had great reasoning among themselves.
45-2:14 For
when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in
the law, these, having not the law, are a law
unto themselves:
45-8:31 What
shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
45-8:37 Nay,
in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him that loved us.
45-9:8 That
is, They which are the children of the flesh, these
are not the children of God: but the
children of the promise are counted for the seed.
45-11:24 For
if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert
grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
45-11:31 Even
so have these also now not believed, that
through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
45-14:18 For
he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of
men.
45-15:23 But
now having no more place in these parts, and
having a great desire these many years to come
unto you;
46-4:6 And
these things, brethren, I have in a figure
transferred to myself and to Apollos
for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up
for one against another.
46-4:14 I
write not these things to shame you, but as my
beloved sons I warn you.
46-9:8 Say
I these things as a man? or saith not the law
the same also?
46-9:15 But
I have used none of these things: neither have I
written these things, that it should be so done
unto me: for it were better for me to
die, than that any man should make my glorying void.
46-10:6 Now
these things were our examples, to the intent we
should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
46-10:11 Now
all these things happened unto them for
ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the
world are come.
46-12:2 Ye
know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these
dumb idols, even as ye were led.
46-12:11 But
all these worketh that one and the selfsame
Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
46-12:23 And
those members of the body, which we
think to be less honourable, upon these we
bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
46-13:13 And
now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three;
but the greatest of these is charity.
47-2:16 To
the one we are the savour of death
unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
47-7:1 Having
therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us
cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting
holiness in the fear of God.
47-13:10 Therefore
I write these things being absent, lest being
present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath
given me to edification, and not to destruction.
48-2:6 But
of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever
they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person:) for they
who seemed to be somewhat in
conference added nothing to me:
48-4:24 Which
things are an allegory: for these are the two
covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is
Agar.
48-5:17 For
the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye
cannot do the things that ye would.
48-5:19 Now
the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness,
49-5:6 Let
no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these
things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
50-4:8 Finally,
brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are
just, whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report;
if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
51-3:8 But
now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath,
malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
51-3:14 And
above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
51-4:11 And
Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my
fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
52-3:3 That
no man should be moved by these afflictions: for
yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
52-4:18 Wherefore
comfort one another with these words.
53-2:5 Remember
ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these
things?
54-3:10 And
let these also first be proved; then let them
use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
54-3:14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto
thee shortly:
54-4:6 If
thou put the brethren in remembrance of these
things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the
words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
54-4:11 These things command and teach.
54-4:15 Meditate
upon these things; give thyself wholly to them;
that thy profiting may appear to all.
54-5:7 And
these things give in charge, that they may be
blameless.
54-5:21 I
charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus
Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these
things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
54-6:2 And
they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of
the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
54-6:11 But
thou, O man of God, flee these things; and
follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
55-1:12 For
the which cause I also suffer these things:
nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am
persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against
that day.
55-2:14 Of
these things put them in remembrance, charging them
before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
55-2:21 If
a man therefore purge himself from these, he
shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
55-3:8 Now
as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these
also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
56-2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all
authority. Let no man despise thee.
56-3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that
they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
58-1:2 Hath
in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of
all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
58-7:13 For
he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to
another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
58-9:6 Now
when these things were thus ordained, the
priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
58-9:23 It was therefore necessary that the
patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better
sacrifices than these.
58-10:18 Now
where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
58-11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the
promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the
earth.
58-11:39 And
these all, having obtained a good report through
faith, received not the promise:
59-3:10 Out
of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
60-1:20 Who
verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in
these last times for you,
61-1:4 Whereby
are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
61-1:8 For
if these things be in you, and abound, they make
you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the
knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
61-1:9 But
he that lacketh these things is blind, and
cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
61-1:10 Wherefore
the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for
if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
61-1:12 Wherefore
I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
61-1:15 Moreover
I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
61-2:12 But
these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken
and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall
utterly perish in their own corruption;
61-2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried
with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
61-3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be
dissolved, what manner of persons ought
ye to be in all holy conversation and
godliness,
61-3:16 As
also in all his epistles, speaking in
them of these things; in which are some things
hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto
their own destruction.
61-3:17 Ye
therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being
led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
62-1:4 And
these things write we unto you, that your joy
may be full.
62-2:1 My
little children, these things write I unto you,
that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus
Christ the righteous:
62-2:26 These things have
I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
62-5:7 For
there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy
Ghost: and these three are one.
62-5:8 And
there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the
blood: and these three agree in one.
62-5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on
the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and
that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
65-1:8 Likewise
also these filthy
dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
65-1:10 But
these speak evil of those things which they know
not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they
corrupt themselves.
65-1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast
with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit
withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
65-1:14 And
Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these,
saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
65-1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their
own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
65-1:19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having
not the Spirit.
66-2:1 Unto the angel of the church of
Ephesus write; These things saith he that
holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the
seven golden candlesticks;
66-2:8 And unto the angel of the church in
Smyrna write; These things saith the first and
the last, which was dead, and is alive;
66-2:12 And to the angel of the church in
Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath
the sharp sword with two edges;
66-2:18 And unto the angel of the church in
Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of
God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
66-3:1 And unto the angel of the church in
Sardis write; These things saith he that hath
the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast
a name that thou livest, and art dead.
66-3:7 And to the angel of the church in
Philadelphia write; These things saith he that
is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and
no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
66-3:14 And unto the angel of the church of
the Laodiceans write; These things saith the
Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
66-7:1 And after these
things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the
four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the
sea, nor on any tree.
66-7:13 And one of the elders answered,
saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed
in white robes? and whence came they?
66-7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou
knowest. And he said to me, These are they which
came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white
in the blood of the Lamb.
66-9:18 By these
three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by
the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
66-9:20 And the rest of the men which were
not killed by these plagues yet repented not of
the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold,
and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear,
nor walk:
66-11:4 These
are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of
the earth.
66-11:6 These
have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and
have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all
plagues, as often as they will.
66-11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth
shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another;
because these two prophets tormented them that
dwelt on the earth.
66-14:4 These
are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he
goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to
the Lamb.
66-16:9 And men were scorched with great
heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him
glory.
66-17:13 These
have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
66-17:14 These
shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord
of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
66-17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest
upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and
shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with
fire.
66-18:1 And after these
things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the
earth was lightened with his glory.
66-18:15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand
afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
66-19:1 And after these
things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia;
Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
66-19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed
are they which are called unto the
marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These
are the true sayings of God.
66-19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him
the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them
that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning
with brimstone.
66-21:5 And he that sat upon the throne
said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
66-22:6 And he said unto me, These sayings are
faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to
shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
66-22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before
the feet of the angel which shewed me these
things.
66-22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to
testify unto you these things in the churches. I
am the root and the offspring of David, and
the bright and morning star.
66-22:18 For I testify unto every man that
