02-EXODUS
02-17:7 And
he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of
the children of Israel, and because they tempted
the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?
04-NUMBERS
04-14:22 Because
all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt
and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now
these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-6:16 Ye
shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted
him in Massah.
19-78:18 And
they tempted God in their heart by asking meat
for their lust.
19-78:41 Yea,
they turned back and tempted God, and limited
the Holy One of Israel.
19-78:56 Yet
they tempted and provoked the most high God, and
kept not his testimonies:
19-95:9 When
your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my
work.
19-106:14 But
lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted
God in the desert.
40-4:1 Then
was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
41-1:13 And
he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted
of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.
42-4:2 Being
forty days tempted of the devil. And in those
days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
42-10:25 And,
behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted
him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
46-10:9 Neither
let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted,
and were destroyed of serpents.
46-10:13 There
hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to
be tempted above that ye are able; but will with
the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
48-6:1 Brethren,
if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in
the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
52-3:5 For
this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by
some means the tempter have tempted you, and our
labour be in vain.
58-2:18 For
in that he himself hath suffered being tempted,
he is able to succour them that are tempted.
58-3:9 When
your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my
works forty years.
58-4:15 For
we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all points tempted like
as we are, yet without sin.
58-11:37 They
were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted,
were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being
destitute, afflicted, tormented;
59-1:13 Let
no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
59-1:14 But
every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of
his own lust, and enticed.

40-4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of
God, command that these stones be made bread.
52-3:5 For this
cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some
means the tempter have tempted you, and our
labour be in vain.

no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted
with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

40-MATTHEW
40-16:1 The
Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting
desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.
40-19:3 The
Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and
saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
40-22:35 Then
one of them, which was a lawyer,
asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
41-MARK
41-8:11 And
the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign
from heaven, tempting him.
41-10:2 And
the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting
him.
42-11:16 And
others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.
43-8:6 This
they said, tempting him, that they might have to
accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as
though he heard them not.

shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;

the people stood up all that day, and all that
night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered
least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round
about the camp.
04-14:22 Because
all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt
and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten
times, and have not hearkened to my voice;
04-29:23 And
on the fourth day ten bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year
without blemish:

mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD
gave them unto me.

fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten
persons; and now the LORD thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for

glory is like the firstling of his
bullock, and his horns are like the
horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of
the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
06-15:57 Cain,

villages:

gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
07-6:27 Then
Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as
the LORD had said unto him: and so it

you? remember also that I am your
bone and your flesh.
07-9:4 And
they gave him threescore and ten pieces of silver out of the house of

07-9:5 And

07-9:18 And
ye are risen up against my father’s house this day, and have slain his sons,
threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and
have made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem,
because he is your brother;)
07-9:24 That
the cruelty done to the threescore
and ten sons of Jerubbaal might come, and their
blood be laid upon Abimelech their brother, which slew them; and upon the men
of Shechem, which aided him in the killing of his brethren.
07-12:11 And

that thou succour us out of the city.

Israel.

cast in two rows, when it was cast.
11-7:27 And
he made ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four
cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it.

this manner he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one size.
11-7:38 Then
made he ten lavers of brass: one laver contained

the ten bases, and ten
lavers on the bases;

that were with him at Mizpah.

cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast.
14-4:6 He
made also ten lavers, and put five on the right
hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for
the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
14-4:7 And
he made ten candlesticks of gold according to
their form, and set them in the

thousand left alive did the children
of Judah carry away captive, and brought them unto the top of the rock, and
cast them down from the top of the rock, that they all were broken in pieces.
14-27:5 He
fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the
children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the children of
Ammon pay unto him, both the second year, and the third.

bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great
number of priests sanctified themselves.
14-36:9 Jehoiachin
was eight years old when he began to
reign, and he reigned three months and ten days
in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil
in the sight of the LORD.

fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had
enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as
she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.

basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort
four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.

of the sons of Azgad; Johanan the son of Hakkatan, and with him an hundred and ten males.

it came to pass, that when the Jews which dwelt by them came, they said unto us
ten times, From all places whence ye shall
return unto us they will be upon you.
16-5:18 Now
that which was prepared for me daily was one ox and six choice
sheep; also fowls were prepared for me, and once in ten
days store of all sorts of wine: yet for all this required not I the bread of the
governor, because the bondage was heavy upon this people.
16-11:1 And
the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast
lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem
the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in
other cities.
17-3:9 If
it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will
pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands
of those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king’s treasuries.
17-9:10 The
ten sons of Haman the son of Hammedatha, the
enemy of the Jews, slew they; but on the spoil laid they not their hand.
17-9:12 And
the king said unto Esther the queen, The Jews have slain and destroyed five
hundred men in Shushan the palace, and the ten
sons of Haman; what have they done in the rest of the king’s provinces? now
what is thy petition? and it shall be
granted thee: or what is thy request
further? and it shall be done.
17-9:13 Then
said Esther, If it please the king, let it be granted to the Jews which are in Shushan to do to morrow also
according unto this day’s decree, and let Haman’s ten
sons be hanged upon the gallows.
17-9:14 And
the king commanded it so to be done: and the decree was given at Shushan; and
they hanged Haman’s ten sons.
18-19:3 These
ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not
ashamed that ye make yourselves
strange to me.
19-3:6 I
will not be afraid of ten thousands of people,
that have set themselves against me
round about.
19-33:2 Praise
the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
19-90:10 The
days of our years are threescore
years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for
it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
19-91:7 A
thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten
thousand at thy right hand; but it
shall not come nigh thee.
19-92:3 Upon
an instrument of ten strings, and upon the
psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
19-144:9 I
will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings
will I sing praises unto thee.
19-144:13 That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:

strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the city.
22-5:10 My
beloved is white and ruddy, the
chiefest among ten thousand.

ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and
the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.
23-38:8 Behold,
I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun
dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun
returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was
gone down.
24-41:1 Now
it came to pass in the seventh month, that
Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, and
the princes of the king, even ten men with him,
came unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and there they did eat bread
together in Mizpah.
24-41:2 Then
arose Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and the ten
men that were with him, and smote Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan
with the sword, and slew him, whom the king of Babylon had made governor over
the land.
24-41:8 But
ten men were found among them that said unto
Ishmael, Slay us not: for we have treasures in the field, of wheat, and of
barley, and of oil, and of honey. So he forbare, and slew them not among their
brethren.
24-42:7 And
it came to pass after ten days, that the word of
the LORD came unto Jeremiah.
26-40:11 And
he measured the breadth of the entry of the gate, ten
cubits; and the length of the gate,
thirteen cubits.
26-41:2 And
the breadth of the door was ten cubits: and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and
five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty
cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.
26-42:4 And
before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and
their doors toward the north.
26-45:1 Moreover,
when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, ye shall offer an
oblation unto the LORD, an holy portion of the land: the length shall be the length of five and twenty
thousand reeds, and the breadth shall be ten
thousand. This shall be holy in all
the borders thereof round about.
26-45:3 And
of this measure shalt thou measure the length of five and twenty thousand, and
the breadth of ten thousand: and in it shall be
the sanctuary and the most holy place.
26-45:5 And
the five and twenty thousand of length, and the ten
thousand of breadth, shall also the Levites, the ministers of the house, have for
themselves, for a possession for twenty chambers.
26-45:14 Concerning
the ordinance of oil, the bath of oil, ye
shall offer the tenth part of a bath out of the cor, which is an homer of ten baths; for ten baths are an
homer:
26-48:9 The
oblation that ye shall offer unto the LORD shall
be of five and twenty thousand in length, and of ten
thousand in breadth.
26-48:10 And
for them, even for the priests, shall
be this holy oblation; toward the
north five and twenty thousand in length,
and toward the west ten thousand in breadth,
and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and
toward the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the
LORD shall be in the midst thereof.
26-48:13 And
over against the border of the priests the Levites shall have five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: all the length shall be five and twenty thousand, and
the breadth ten thousand.
26-48:18 And
the residue in length over against the oblation of the holy portion shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten
thousand westward: and it shall be over against the oblation of the holy portion; and the increase thereof shall
be for food unto them that serve the city.
27-1:12 Prove
thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let
them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.
27-1:14 So
he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten
days.
27-1:15 And
at the end of ten days their countenances
appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the
portion of the king’s meat.
27-1:20 And
in all matters of wisdom and understanding,
that the king enquired of them, he found them ten
times better than all the magicians and astrologers
that were in all his realm.
27-7:7 After
this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and
terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and
brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
27-7:10 A
fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands
ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set,
and the books were opened.
27-7:20 And
of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the
other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great
things, whose look was more stout
than his fellows.
27-7:24 And
the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten
kings that shall arise: and another
shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall
subdue three kings.
27-11:12 And when he hath taken away the
multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands:
but he shall not be strengthened by it.
30-5:3 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.
30-6:9 And
it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men
in one house, that they shall die.
33-6:7 Will
the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or
with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I
give my firstborn for my
transgression, the fruit of my body for the
sin of my soul?
37-2:16 Since
those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten:
when one came to the pressfat for to
draw out fifty vessels out of the
press, there were but twenty.
38-1:12 Then
the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou
not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast
had indignation these threescore and ten years?
38-5:2 And
he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the
length thereof is twenty cubits, and
the breadth thereof ten cubits.
38-8:23 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it
shall come to pass, that ten men shall take
hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of
him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
40-18:24 And
when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation
against the two brethren.

which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

therefore the talent from him, and give it
unto him which hath ten talents.

what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she
lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek
diligently till she find it?

cleansed? but where are the nine?

came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten
pounds.
42-19:17 And
he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a
very little, have thou authority over ten
cities.

he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.
42-19:25 (And
they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)
44-23:23 And
he called unto him two centurions,
saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen threescore

hour of the night;

when he had tarried among them more than ten
days, he went down unto Caesarea; and the next day sitting on the judgment seat
commanded Paul to be brought.

though ye have ten thousand instructors in
Christ, yet have ye not many fathers:

46-14:19 Yet
in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also,
than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

of his saints,

of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be
tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days:
be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
66-5:11 And I
beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the
beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten
thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of
thousands;
66-12:3 And there
appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven
heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his
heads.

carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a
scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery
of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads
and ten horns.

receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
66-17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these
shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her
flesh, and burn her with fire.
