against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their

trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
23-18:7 In that time shall the present be
brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a
people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden
under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled,
to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.
23-24:3 The land shall be utterly emptied,
and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken
this word.
23-33:1 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled;

shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal
treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly
are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.
24-4:30 And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest
thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though
thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will
seek thy life.

Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand
of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
24-22:3 Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye
judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled
out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the
stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this
place.

neighbours, and he is not.
24-51:55 Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great
voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is
uttered:

pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath
given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;
26-18:12 Hath oppressed the poor and needy,
hath spoiled by violence, hath not restored the
pledge, and hath lifted up his eyes to the idols, hath committed abomination,
26-18:16 Neither hath oppressed any, hath not
withholden the pledge, neither hath spoiled by
violence, but hath given his bread to
the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment,

is not good among his people, lo,
even he shall die in his iniquity.

of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil
those that spoiled them, and rob those that
robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.

thy people, and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled,

battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children.

An adversary there shall be even
round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy
palaces shall be spoiled.

portion of my people: how hath he removed it
from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.
35-2:8 Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people
shall spoil thee; because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell
therein.

you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
23-21:2 A grievous vision is declared unto
me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all
the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
24-6:26 O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself
in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an
only son, most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler
shall suddenly come upon us.
24-15:8 Their widows are increased to me
above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the
young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and
terrors upon the city.
24-48:8 And the spoiler
shall come upon every city, and no city shall escape: the valley also shall
perish, and the plain shall be destroyed, as the LORD hath spoken.

Dibon, come down from thy glory, and
sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab shall
come upon thee, and he shall destroy
thy strong holds.

thee with the weeping of Jazer: thy plants are gone over the sea, they reach even to the sea of Jazer: the spoiler is fallen upon thy summer fruits and upon thy
vintage.
24-51:56 Because the spoiler
is come upon her, even upon Babylon,
and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD
God of recompenses shall surely requite.

shall devour from the one end of the
land even to the other end of the
land: no flesh shall have peace.
