01-5:10 And
Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
01-5:13 And
Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat
sons and daughters:
01-5:16 And
Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat
sons and daughters:
01-5:19 And
Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
01-5:22 And
Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
01-5:26 And
Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and
begat sons and daughters:
01-5:30 And
Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
01-6:2 That the
sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of
all which they chose.
01-6:4 There
were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and
they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
01-6:10 And
Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
01-6:18 But
with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou,
and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
01-7:7 And Noah
went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the
waters of the flood.
01-7:13 In
the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of
his sons with them, into the ark;
01-8:16 Go forth
of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons,
and thy sons’ wives with thee.
01-8:18 And
Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and
his sons’ wives with him:
01-9:1 And God
blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them,
Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
01-9:8 And
God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him,
saying,
01-9:18 And
the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark,
were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is
the father of Canaan.
01-9:19 These
are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.
01-10:1 Now these
are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them
were sons born after the flood.
01-10:2 The
sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai,
and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
01-10:3 And
the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and
Togarmah.
01-10:4 And
the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish,
Kittim, and Dodanim.
01-10:6 And
the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut,
and Canaan.
01-10:7 And
the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah,
and Raamah, and Sabtechah: and the sons of
Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
01-10:20 These
are the sons
of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.
01-10:25 And
unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth
divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
01-10:29 And
Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were
the sons of Joktan.
01-10:31 These
are the sons
of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their
nations.
01-10:32 These
are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations:
and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
01-11:11 And Shem
lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
01-11:13 And
Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
01-11:15 And
Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

01-19:12 And the men
said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son
in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and
whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them
out of this place:
01-19:14 And
Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law,
which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the
LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.
01-23:3 And
Abraham stood up from before his dead, and spake unto the sons of Heth, saying,
01-23:11 Nay,
my lord, hear me: the field give I thee, and the cave that is therein, I give it thee; in the presence of the sons of my people give I it thee: bury thy dead.
01-23:16 And
Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which
he had named in the audience of the sons of
Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.
01-23:20 And
the field, and the cave that is therein,
were made sure unto Abraham for a possession of a buryingplace by the sons of Heth.

Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of
Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.
01-25:4 And
the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch,
and Abidah, and Eldaah. All these were the
children of Keturah.
01-25:6 But
unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham
had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east
country.
01-25:9 And
his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the
cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son
of Zohar the Hittite, which is before
Mamre;
01-25:10 The
field which Abraham purchased of the sons of
Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.
01-25:13 And
these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their
generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and
Mibsam,
01-25:16 These
are the sons
of Ishmael, and these are their names,
by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their
nations.
01-27:29 Let people
serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let
thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and
blessed be he that blesseth thee.
01-29:34 And she
conceived again, and bare a son; and said,
Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi.
01-30:20 And Leah
said, God hath endued me with a good
dowry; now will my husband dwell with me, because I have born him six sons: and she called his name Zebulun.
01-30:35 And

she goats that were speckled and spotted, and
every one that had some white in
it, and all the brown among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons.
01-31:1 And he
heard the words of Laban’s sons, saying, Jacob
hath taken away all that was our
father’s; and of that which was our father’s hath he gotten all this
glory.
01-31:17 Then
Jacob rose up, and set his sons and his wives
upon camels;
01-31:28 And
hast not suffered me to kiss my sons and my
daughters? thou hast now done foolishly in so
doing.
01-31:55 And
early in the morning Laban rose up, and kissed his sons
and his daughters, and blessed them: and Laban departed, and returned unto his
place.
01-32:22 And he
rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two womenservants, and his
eleven sons, and passed over the ford Jabbok.
01-34:5 And Jacob
heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons
were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were
come.
01-34:7 And
the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they
heard it: and the men were grieved,
and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with
Jacob’s daughter; which thing ought not to be done.
01-34:13 And
the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his
father deceitfully, and said, because he had defiled Dinah their sister:
01-34:25 And
it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brethren, took
each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males.
01-34:27 The
sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled
the city, because they had defiled their sister.
01-35:5 And they journeyed:
and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.
01-35:22 And
it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with
Bilhah his father’s concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were
twelve:

sons of Leah; Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn, and
Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun:
01-35:24 The
sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin:
01-35:25 And

01-36:6 And

daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his
beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went
into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.
01-36:10 These
are the names of Esau’s sons; Eliphaz the son
of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of
Bashemath the wife of Esau.
01-36:11 And
the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and
Gatam, and Kenaz.
01-36:12 And
Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau’s son;
and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were

01-36:13 And
these are the sons of Reuel; Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were
the sons of Bashemath Esau’s wife.
01-36:14 And
these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter
of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau’s wife: and she bare to Esau Jeush, and
Jaalam, and Korah.
01-36:15 These

the flock with his brethren; and the lad was
with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought
unto his father their evil report.
01-37:35 And
all his sons and all his daughters rose up to
comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down
into the grave unto my son mourning. Thus
his father wept for him.
01-41:50 And unto
Joseph were born two sons before the years of
famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto

01-42:1 Now when

famine was in the land of Canaan.
01-42:11 We
are all one man’s sons; we are true
men, thy servants are no spies.

Canaan; and, behold, the youngest is this

of the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt, were threescore and ten.
01-48:1 And it
came to pass after these things, that one
told Joseph, Behold, thy father is sick:
and he took with him his two sons, Manasseh and
Ephraim.
01-48:5 And
now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which
were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they
shall be mine.
01-48:8 And
Israel beheld Joseph’s sons, and said, Who are these?
01-48:9 And
Joseph said unto his father, They are my
sons, whom God hath given me in this place. And he said, Bring them, I pray
thee, unto me, and I will bless them.
01-49:1 And Jacob
called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves
together, that I may tell you that which
shall befall you in the last days.
01-49:2 Gather
yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob;
and hearken unto Israel your father.
01-49:33 And
when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons,
he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was
gathered unto his people.
01-50:12 And his sons did unto him according as he commanded them:
01-50:13 For his sons carried him into the land of Canaan, and buried
him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which Abraham bought with the field
for a possession of a buryingplace of Ephron the Hittite, before Mamre.
02-3:22 But every woman shall borrow of her

and her two sons with her.

02-27:21 In

of the children of Israel.
02-28:1 And
take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons
with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in

02-28:4 And
these are the garments which they
shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a

and his sons, that he may minister unto me in
the priest’s office.
02-28:40 And
for Aaron’s sons thou shalt make coats, and thou
shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory
and for beauty.
02-28:41 And
thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons
with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that
they may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
02-28:43 And
they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons,
when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come
near unto the altar to minister in the holy place;
that they bear not iniquity, and die: it

their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the
blood upon the altar round about.
02-29:21 And
thou shalt take of the blood that is upon
the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his
garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.
02-29:24 And
thou shalt put all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons; and shalt wave them for a wave offering before the LORD.
02-29:27 And
thou shalt sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the
heave offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of the
consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which
is for his sons:
02-29:32 And
Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the
ram, and the bread that is in the
basket, by the door of the tabernacle
of the congregation.
02-29:35 And
thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons,
according to all things which I have
commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.
02-29:44 And
I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will
sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to
minister to me in the priest’s office.
02-30:19 For
Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and
their feet thereat:
02-30:30 And
thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and
consecrate them, that they may
minister unto me in the priest’s office.
02-31:10 And
the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the
garments of his sons, to minister in the
priest’s office,
02-32:2 And
Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons,
and of your daughters, and bring them unto
me.
02-32:26 Then
Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’S side? let
him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi
gathered themselves together unto him.
02-34:16 And
thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and
their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
02-34:20 But
the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck.
All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem.
And none shall appear before me empty.
02-35:19 The
cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of
his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.
02-39:27 And
they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,
02-40:12 And
thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the
door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
02-40:14 And
thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with
coats:
02-40:31 And
Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands
and their feet thereat:
03-1:5 And he
shall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood
round about upon the altar that is by the
door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
03-1:7 And
the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon
the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire:
03-1:8 And
the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall lay the parts,
the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon
the altar:
03-1:11 And
he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: and the
priests, Aaron’s sons, shall sprinkle his blood
round about upon the altar.
03-2:2 And
he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests:
and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil
thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the
memorial of it upon the altar, to be an
offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD:
03-3:2 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation: and Aaron’s sons the priests shall
sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
03-3:5 And
Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the
burnt sacrifice, which is upon the
wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a
sweet savour unto the LORD.
03-3:8 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the
tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons
shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.
03-3:13 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of
the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall
sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.
03-6:9 Command
Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the
burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar
shall be burning in it.
03-6:14 And
this is the law of the meat offering:
the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the
LORD, before the altar.
03-6:16 And
the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons
eat: with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of
the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.
03-6:20 This
is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day
when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meat
offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.
03-6:22 And
the priest of his sons that is anointed in his
stead shall offer it: it is a statute
for ever unto the LORD; it shall be wholly burnt.
03-6:25 Speak
unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the
place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed
before the LORD: it is most holy.
03-7:10 And
every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another.
03-7:33 He
among the sons of Aaron, that offereth the blood
of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.
03-7:34 For
the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel
from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them unto
Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute
for ever from among the children of Israel.
03-7:35 This
is the portion of the anointing of
Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of
the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest’s
office;
03-8:2 Take
Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments,
and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a
basket of unleavened bread;
03-8:6 And
Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed
them with water.
03-8:13 And
Moses brought Aaron’s sons, and put coats upon
them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them; as the LORD
commanded Moses.
03-8:14 And
he brought the bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for
the sin offering.
03-8:18 And
he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
03-8:22 And
he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
03-8:24 And
he brought Aaron’s sons, and Moses put of the
blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right
hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkled the
blood upon the altar round about.
03-8:30 And
Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon
his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons’ garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’
garments with him.
03-8:31 And
Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the
flesh at the door of the tabernacle
of the congregation: and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron
and his sons shall eat it.
03-8:36 So
Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD
commanded by the hand of Moses.
03-9:1 And
it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses
called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of
Israel;
03-9:9 And
the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him:
and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the
bottom of the altar:
03-9:12 And
he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron’s sons
presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar.
03-9:18 He
slew also the bullock and the ram for a
sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for
the people: and Aaron’s sons presented unto him
the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,
03-10:1 And
Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either
of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered
strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.
03-10:4 And
Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of
Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren
from before the sanctuary out of the camp.
03-10:6 And
Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your
clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your
brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD hath
kindled.
03-10:9 Do
not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons
with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever
throughout your generations:
03-10:12 And
Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the meat offering that
remaineth of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without leaven
beside the altar: for it is most
holy:
03-10:14 And
the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy
sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due, and thy sons’ due, which
are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of
Israel.
03-10:16 And
Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was
burnt: and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons
of Aaron which were left alive, saying,
03-13:2 When
a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and
it be in the skin of his flesh like the
plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one
of his sons the priests:
03-16:1 And
the LORD spake unto Moses after the death of the two sons
of Aaron, when they offered before the LORD, and died;
03-17:2 Speak
unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the
children of Israel, and say unto them; This is
the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying,
03-21:1 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons
of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his
people:
03-21:24 And
Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.
03-22:2 Speak
unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate
themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they
profane not my holy name in those things which
they hallow unto me: I am the LORD.
03-22:18 Speak
unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the
children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that
will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings,
which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering;
03-26:29 And
ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the
flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.
04-2:14 Then the
tribe of Gad: and the captain of the sons of Gad
shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.
04-2:18 On
the west side shall be the standard
of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall
be Elishama the son of Ammihud.
04-2:22 Then
the tribe of Benjamin: and the captain of the sons
of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.
04-3:2 And
these are the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu,
Eleazar, and Ithamar.
04-3:3 These
are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests which were anointed, whom
he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office.
04-3:9 And
thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons:
they are wholly given unto him out of
the children of Israel.
04-3:10 And
thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they
shall wait on their priest’s office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be
put to death.
04-3:17 And
these were the sons of Levi by their names;
Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
04-3:18 And
these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.
04-3:19 And
the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and
Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
04-3:20 And
the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and
Mushi. These are the families of the
Levites according to the house of their fathers.
04-3:25 And
the charge of the sons of Gershon in the
tabernacle of the congregation shall be the
tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of
the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-3:29 The
families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on
the side of the tabernacle southward.
04-3:36 And
under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall
be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars
thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that
serveth thereto,
04-3:38 But
those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the
charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be
put to death.
04-3:48 And
thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed,
unto Aaron and to his sons.
04-3:51 And
Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD
commanded Moses.
04-4:2 Take
the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of
their fathers,
04-4:4 This
shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
04-4:5 And
when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover
the ark of testimony with it:
04-4:15 And
when Aaron and his sons have made an end of
covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to
set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath
shall come to bear it: but they shall
not touch any holy thing, lest they
die. These things are the burden of
the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the
congregation.
04-4:19 But
thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the
most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go
in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
04-4:22 Take
also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout
the houses of their fathers, by their families;
04-4:27 At
the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all
the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in
all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in
charge all their burdens.
04-4:28 This
is the service of the families of the
sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation:
and their charge shall be under the
hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
04-4:29 As
for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them
after their families, by the house of their fathers;
04-4:33 This
is the service of the families of the
sons of Merari, according to all their service,
in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
04-4:34 And
Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after
the house of their fathers,
04-4:38 And
those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon,
throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,
04-4:41 These
are they that were numbered of the
families of the sons of Gershon, of all that
might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron
did number according to the commandment of the LORD.
04-4:42 And
those that were numbered of the families of the sons
of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,
04-4:45 These
be those that were numbered of the
families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and
Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
04-6:23 Speak
unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this
wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
04-7:7 Two
wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of
Gershon, according to their service:
04-7:8 And
four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons
of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
04-7:9 But
unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because
the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that they should bear upon their shoulders.
04-8:13 And
thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an
offering unto the LORD.
04-8:19 And
I have given the Levites as a gift to
Aaron and to his sons from among the children of
Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the
congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there
be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come
nigh unto the sanctuary.
04-8:22 And
after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the
congregation before Aaron, and before his sons:
as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.
04-10:8 And
the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with
the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout
your generations.
04-10:17 And
the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of
Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward,
bearing the tabernacle.
04-13:33 And
there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in
our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
04-16:1 Now
Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son
of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of
Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
04-16:7 And
put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it
shall be that the man whom the LORD
doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
04-16:8 And
Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons
of Levi:
04-16:10 And
he hath brought thee near to him, and
all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and
seek ye the priesthood also?
04-16:12 And
Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons
of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:
04-16:27 So
they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side:
and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their
wives, and their sons, and their little
children.
04-18:1 And
the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and
thy father’s house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou
and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity
of your priesthood.
04-18:2 And
thy brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou
with thee, that they may be joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: but thou
and thy sons with thee shall minister before the tabernacle of witness.
04-18:7 Therefore
thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your
priest’s office for every thing of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall
serve: I have given your priest’s office unto
you as a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to
death.
04-18:8 And
the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine
heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee
have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.
04-18:9 This
shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved
from the fire: every oblation of theirs, every meat offering of theirs and
every sin offering of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs, which they
shall render unto me, shall be most
holy for thee and for thy sons.
04-18:11 And
this is thine; the heave offering of
their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given
them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy
daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in thy
house shall eat of it.
04-18:19 All
the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto
the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and
thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy
seed with thee.
04-21:29 Woe
to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity
unto Sihon king of the Amorites.
04-21:35 So
they smote him, and his sons, and all his
people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land.
04-26:8 And
the sons of Pallu; Eliab.
04-26:9 And
the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and
Abiram. This is that Dathan and
Abiram, which were famous in the
congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of
Korah, when they strove against the LORD:
04-26:12 The
sons of Simeon after their families: of Nemuel,
the family of the Nemuelites: of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites: of Jachin,
the family of the Jachinites:
04-26:19 The
sons of Judah were Er and Onan: and Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.
04-26:20 And
the sons of Judah after their families were; of
Shelah, the family of the Shelanites: of Pharez, the family of the Pharzites:
of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites.
04-26:21 And
the sons of Pharez were; of Hezron, the family
of the Hezronites: of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.
04-26:23 Of the sons
of Issachar after their families: of Tola,
the family of the Tolaites: of Pua, the family of the Punites:

the family of the Elonites: of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites.
04-26:28 The
sons of Joseph after their families were Manasseh and Ephraim.
04-26:29 Of
the sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of
the Machirites: and Machir begat Gilead: of Gilead come the family of the Gileadites.
04-26:30 These
are the sons
of Gilead: of Jeezer, the family of
the Jeezerites: of Helek, the family of the Helekites:
04-26:33 And
Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of
Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah,
Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
04-26:35 These
are the sons
of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalhites:
of Becher, the family of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.
04-26:36 And
these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.
04-26:37 These
are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered
of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their
families.
04-26:38 The
sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela,
the family of the Belaites: of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites: of Ahiram,
the family of the Ahiramites:
04-26:40 And
the sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard, the family of the Ardites: and of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.
04-26:41 These
are the sons
of Benjamin after their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and six
hundred.
04-26:42 These
are the sons

families.
04-26:45 Of
the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the
Heberites: of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.
04-26:47 These
are the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of
them; who were fifty and three
thousand and four hundred.
04-26:48 Of the sons
of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites: of
Guni, the family of the Gunites:
04-27:3 Our
father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that
gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died
in his own sin, and had no sons.
04-36:1 And
the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son
of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of
Joseph, came near, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chief
fathers of the children of Israel:
04-36:3 And
if they be married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel,
then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and
shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so
shall it be taken from the lot of our inheritance.
04-36:5 And
Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the LORD,
saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath
said well.
04-36:11 For
Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad,
were married unto their father’s brothers’ sons:
04-36:12 And they were married into the families
of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in
the tribe of the family of their father.
05-1:28 Whither
shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the
cities are great and walled up to
heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of
the Anakims there.
05-2:33 And the
LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.
05-4:9 Only
take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things
which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of
thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons;
05-11:6 And what
he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of
Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth
opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents,
and all the substance that was in
their possession, in the midst of all Israel:
05-12:12 And
ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your
maidservants, and the Levite that is within
your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.
05-12:31 Thou
shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which
he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire
to their gods.
05-18:5 For
the LORD thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in
the name of the LORD, him and his sons for ever.
05-21:5 And
the priests the sons of Levi shall come near;
for them the LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the
name of the LORD; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be
tried:
05-21:16 Then
it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of
the beloved firstborn before the son of the
hated, which is indeed the firstborn:
05-23:17 There
shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
05-28:32 Thy
sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and
fail with longing for them all the day
long: and there shall be no might in
thine hand.
05-28:41 Thou
shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt
not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.
05-28:53 And
thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath
given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall
distress thee:
05-31:9 And
Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the
LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.
05-32:8 When
the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people
according to the number of the children of Israel.
05-32:19 And
when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.
06-7:24 And
Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son
of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses,
and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto
the valley of Achor.
06-15:14 And
Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak,
Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
06-17:3 But
Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son
of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters: and these are the names of his daughters, Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah,
and Tirzah.
06-17:6 Because
the daughters of Manasseh had an inheritance among his sons:
and the rest of Manasseh’s sons had the land of
Gilead.
06-24:32 And
the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt,
buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred
pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph.
07-1:20 And
they gave Hebron unto Caleb, as Moses said: and he expelled thence the three sons of Anak.
07-3:6 And
they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and served their gods.
07-8:19 And
he said, They were my brethren, even the sons
of my mother: as the LORD liveth, if
ye had saved them alive, I would not slay you.
07-8:30 And
Gideon had threescore and ten sons of his body
begotten: for he had many wives.
07-9:2 Speak,
I pray you, in the ears of all the men of Shechem, Whether is better for you, either that all the sons
of Jerubbaal, which are threescore
and ten persons, reign over you, or that one reign over you? remember also that
I am your bone and your flesh.
07-9:5 And
he went unto his father’s house at Ophrah, and slew his brethren the sons of Jerubbaal, being
threescore and ten persons, upon one stone: notwithstanding yet Jotham the
youngest son of Jerubbaal was left; for he
hid himself.
07-9:18 And
ye are risen up against my father’s house this day, and have slain his sons, threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and
have made Abimelech, the son of his
maidservant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother;)
07-9:24 That
the cruelty done to the threescore
and ten sons of Jerubbaal might come, and their
blood be laid upon Abimelech their brother, which slew them; and upon the men
of Shechem, which aided him in the killing of his brethren.
07-10:4 And
he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass
colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Havothjair unto this day,
which are in the land of Gilead.
07-11:2 And
Gilead’s wife bare him sons; and his wife’s sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said
unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father’s house; for thou art the son
of a strange woman.
07-12:9 And
he had thirty sons, and thirty daughters, whom he sent abroad, and took in thirty
daughters from abroad for his sons. And he
judged Israel seven years.
07-12:14 And
he had forty sons and thirty nephews, that rode
on threescore and ten ass colts: and he judged Israel eight years.
07-17:5 And
the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and
consecrated one of his sons, who became his
priest.
07-17:11 And
the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as
one of his sons.
07-18:30 And
the children of Dan set up the graven image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son
of Manasseh, he and his sons were priests to the
tribe of Dan until the day of the captivity of the land.
07-19:22 Now as they were making their hearts
merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons
of Belial, beset the house round about, and
beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man,
saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.
08-1:1 Now
it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in
the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of
Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.
08-1:2 And
the name of the man was Elimelech,
and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they
came into the country of Moab, and continued there.
08-1:3 And
Elimelech Naomi’s husband died; and she was left, and her two sons.
08-1:5 And
Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.
08-1:11 And
Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they
may be your husbands?
08-1:12 Turn
again, my daughters, go your way; for
I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to
night, and should also bear sons;
08-4:15 And
he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life,
and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee,
which is better to thee than seven sons, hath
borne him.
09-1:3 And
this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD
of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli,
Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.
09-1:4 And
when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to
all her sons and her daughters, portions:
09-1:8 Then
said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou
not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not
I better to thee than ten sons?
09-2:12 Now
the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not
the LORD.
09-2:21 And
the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew
before the LORD.
09-2:22 Now
Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons
did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation.
09-2:24 Nay,
my sons; for it
is no good report that I hear: ye make the Lord’s people to transgress.
09-2:29 Wherefore
kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the
chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?
09-2:34 And
this shall be a sign unto thee, that
shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and
Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.
09-3:13 For
I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he
knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile,
and he restrained them not.
09-4:4 So
the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the
covenant of the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth between the cherubims: and the two sons
of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there
with the ark of the covenant of God.
09-4:11 And
the ark of God was taken; and the two sons of
Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain.
09-4:17 And
the messenger answered and said, Israel is fled before the Philistines, and
there hath been also a great slaughter among the people, and thy two sons also, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark
of God is taken.
09-8:1 And
it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons
judges over Israel.
09-8:3 And
his sons walked not in his ways, but turned
aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment.
09-8:5 And
said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons
walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
09-8:11 And
he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will
take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall
run before his chariots.
09-12:2 And
now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old and grayheaded; and,
behold, my sons are with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto
this day.
09-14:49 Now
the sons of Saul were Jonathan, and Ishui, and
Melchishua: and the names of his two daughters were these; the name of the firstborn Merab, and the name of the
younger Michal:
09-16:1 And
the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected
him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send
thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.
09-16:5 And
he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves,
and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.
09-16:10 Again,
Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before
Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD hath not chosen these.
09-17:12 Now
David was the son of that Ephrathite of Bethlehemjudah, whose name was Jesse; and he had eight sons: and the man went among men for an old man in the days of Saul.
09-17:13 And
the three eldest sons of Jesse went and followed Saul to the battle: and the
names of his three sons that went to the battle were Eliab the firstborn, and next unto
him Abinadab, and the third Shammah.
09-22:20 And
one of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped, and fled
after David.
09-28:19 Moreover
the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines:
and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with
me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the
Philistines.
09-30:3 So
David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.
09-30:6 And
David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the
soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons
and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
09-30:19 And
there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David
recovered all.
09-31:2 And
the Philistines followed hard upon Saul and upon his sons;
and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Melchishua, Saul’s sons.
09-31:6 So
Saul died, and his three sons, and his
armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together.
09-31:7 And
when the men of Israel that were on
the other side of the valley, and they that
were on the other side Jordan, saw
that the men of Israel fled, and that Saul and his sons
were dead, they forsook the cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and
dwelt in them.
09-31:8 And
it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain,
that they found Saul and his three sons fallen
in mount Gilboa.
09-31:12 All
the valiant men arose, and went all night, and took the body of Saul and the
bodies of his sons from the wall of Bethshan,
and came to Jabesh, and burnt them there.
10-2:18 And
there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab,
and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was
as light of foot as a wild roe.
10-3:2 And
unto David were sons born in Hebron: and his
firstborn was Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess;
10-3:39 And
I am this day weak, though anointed
king; and these men the sons of Zeruiah be too hard for me: the LORD shall
reward the doer of evil according to his wickedness.
10-4:2 And
Saul’s son had two men that were captains of bands: the name of the one was Baanah, and the name of the other
Rechab, the sons of Rimmon a Beerothite, of the
children of Benjamin: (for Beeroth also was reckoned to Benjamin.
10-4:5 And
the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and
Baanah, went, and came about the heat of the day to the house of Ishbosheth,
who lay on a bed at noon.
10-4:9 And
David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons
of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said unto them, As the LORD liveth, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity,
10-5:13 And
David took him more concubines and
wives out of Jerusalem, after he was come from Hebron: and there were yet sons and daughters born to David.
10-6:3 And
they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of
Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah
and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new
cart.
10-8:18 And
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the
Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief rulers.
10-9:10 Thou
therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall
till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master’s son
may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master’s son
shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
10-9:11 Then
said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded
his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king’s sons.
10-13:23 And
it came to pass after two full years, that Absalom had sheepshearers in
Baalhazor, which is beside Ephraim:
and Absalom invited all the king’s sons.
10-13:27 But
Absalom pressed him, that he let Amnon and all the king’s sons go with him.
10-13:29 And
the servants of Absalom did unto Amnon as Absalom had commanded. Then all the
king’s sons arose, and every man gat him up upon
his mule, and fled.
10-13:30 And
it came to pass, while they were in the way, that tidings came to David,
saying, Absalom hath slain all the king’s sons,
and there is not one of them left.
10-13:32 And
Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David’s brother,
answered and said, Let not my lord suppose that
they have slain all the young men the king’s sons;
for Amnon only is dead: for by the appointment of Absalom this hath been
determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar.
10-13:33 Now
therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that
all the king’s sons are dead: for Amnon only is
dead.
10-13:35 And
Jonadab said unto the king, Behold, the king’s sons
come: as thy servant said, so it is.
10-13:36 And
it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of speaking, that, behold, the
king’s sons came, and lifted up their voice and
wept: and the king also and all his servants wept very sore.
10-14:6 And
thy handmaid had two sons, and they two strove
together in the field, and there was none
to part them, but the one smote the other, and slew him.
10-14:27 And
unto Absalom there were born three sons, and one
daughter, whose name was Tamar: she
was a woman of a fair countenance.
10-15:27 The
king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art
not thou a seer? return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son,
and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.
10-15:36 Behold,
they have there with them their two sons, Ahimaaz Zadok’s son, and Jonathan Abiathar’s son; and
by them ye shall send unto me every thing that ye can hear.
10-16:10 And
the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons
of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David.
Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?
10-19:5 And
Joab came into the house to the king, and said, Thou hast shamed this day the
faces of all thy servants, which this day have saved thy life, and the lives of
thy sons and of thy daughters, and the lives of
thy wives, and the lives of thy concubines;
10-19:17 And
there were a thousand men of Benjamin
with him, and Ziba the servant of the house of Saul, and his fifteen sons and his twenty servants with him; and they went
over Jordan before the king.
10-19:22 And
David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons
of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man
be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel?
10-21:6 Let
seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and
we will hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, whom the LORD did choose. And the king said, I will give them.
10-21:8 But
the king took the two sons of Rizpah the
daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the
five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom
she brought up for Adriel the son of
Barzillai the Meholathite:
10-21:16 And
Ishbibenob, which was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being
girded with a new sword, thought to
have slain David.
10-21:18 And
it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines
at Gob: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Saph, which was of the sons of the giant.
10-23:6 But
the sons of
Belial shall be all of them as thorns
thrust away, because they cannot be taken with hands:
10-23:32 Eliahba
the Shaalbonite, of the sons of Jashen,
Jonathan,
11-1:9 And
Adonijah slew sheep and oxen and fat cattle by the stone of Zoheleth, which is by Enrogel, and called all his
brethren the king’s sons, and all the men of
Judah the king’s servants:
11-1:19 And
he hath slain oxen and fat cattle and sheep in abundance, and hath called all
the sons of the king, and Abiathar the priest,
and Joab the captain of the host: but Solomon thy servant hath he not called.
11-1:25 For
he is gone down this day, and hath slain oxen and fat cattle and sheep in
abundance, and hath called all the king’s sons,
and the captains of the host, and Abiathar the priest; and, behold, they eat
and drink before him, and say, God save king Adonijah.
11-2:7 But
shew kindness unto the sons of Barzillai the
Gileadite, and let them be of those that eat at thy table: for so they came to
me when I fled because of Absalom thy brother.
11-4:3 Elihoreph
and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes;
Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.
11-4:31 For
he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and
Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in
all nations round about.
11-11:20 And
the sister of Tahpenes bare him Genubath his son,
whom Tahpenes weaned in Pharaoh’s house: and Genubath was in Pharaoh’s
household among the sons of Pharaoh.
11-12:31 And
he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people,
which were not of the sons of Levi.
11-13:11 Now
there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons
came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in
Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to
their father.
11-13:12 And
their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons
had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.
11-13:13 And
he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So
they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,
11-13:27 And
he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass.
And they saddled him.
11-13:31 And
it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the
sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried;
lay my bones beside his bones:
11-18:31 And
Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came,
saying, Israel shall be thy name:
11-20:35 And
a certain man of the sons of the prophets said
unto his neighbour in the word of the LORD, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man
refused to smite him.
11-21:10 And
set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear
witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that
he may die.
12-2:3 And
the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and
said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy
head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it;
hold ye your peace.
12-2:5 And
the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said
unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to
day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold
ye your peace.
12-2:7 And
fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and
stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan.
12-2:15 And
when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they
said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and
bowed themselves to the ground before him.
12-4:1 Now
there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons
of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou
knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take
unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
12-4:4 And
when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and
thou shalt set aside that which is full.
12-4:5 So
she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the
vessels to her; and she poured out.
12-4:38 And

12-5:22 And
he said, All is well. My master hath
sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two
young men of the sons of the prophets: give
them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.
12-6:1 And
the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha,
Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.
12-9:26 Surely
I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in this
plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take and
cast him into the plat of ground, according
to the word of the LORD.
12-10:1 And
Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote
letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to
them that brought up Ahab’s children, saying,
12-10:2 Now
as soon as this letter cometh to you, seeing your master’s sons are with
you, and there are with you chariots
and horses, a fenced city also, and armour;
12-10:3 Look
even out the best and meetest of your master’s sons,
and set him on his father’s throne,
and fight for your master’s house.
12-10:6 Then
he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will
hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master’s sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this
time. Now the king’s sons, being seventy persons, were with
the great men of the city, which brought them up.
12-10:7 And
it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king’s sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in
baskets, and sent him them to
Jezreel.
12-10:8 And
there came a messenger, and told him, saying, They have brought the heads of
the king’s sons. And he said, Lay ye them in two
heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning.
12-11:2 But
Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the
king’s sons which
were slain; and they hid him, even him
and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.
12-15:12 This
was the word of the LORD which he
spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons shall sit on
the throne of Israel unto the fourth generation.
And so it came to pass.
12-17:17 And
they caused their sons and their daughters to
pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold
themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
12-19:37 And
it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that

the sons of Uzziel; Micah the first, and Jesiah
the second.
13-23:21 The
sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. The sons of Mahli; Eleazar, and Kish.
13-23:22 And
Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters:
and their brethren the sons of Kish took them.
13-23:23 The
sons of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jeremoth,
three.
13-23:24 These
were the sons
of Levi after the house of their fathers; even
the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their
polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age
of twenty years and upward.
13-23:28 Because
their office was to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the
LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy
things, and the work of the service of the house of God;
13-23:32 And
that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the
charge of the holy place, and the
charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in
the service of the house of the LORD.
13-24:1 Now
these are the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons
of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
13-24:3 And
David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons
of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of
Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.
13-24:4 And
there were more chief men found of the sons of
Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and thus were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar there
were sixteen chief men of the house of their
fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar
according to the house of their fathers.
13-24:5 Thus
were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the
sanctuary, and governors of the house of
God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
13-24:20 And
the rest of the sons of Levi were these: Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah.
13-24:21 Concerning
Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first was Isshiah.
13-24:22 Of
the Izharites; Shelomoth: of the sons of
Shelomoth; Jahath.
13-24:23 And
the sons of
Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah
the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
13-24:24 Of the sons
of Uzziel; Michah: of the sons of Michah;
Shamir.
13-24:25 The
brother of Michah was Isshiah: of the
sons of Isshiah; Zechariah.
13-24:26 The
sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi: the sons of
Jaaziah; Beno.
13-24:27 The
sons of Merari by Jaaziah; Beno, and Shoham, and
Zaccur, and Ibri.
13-24:28 Of
Mahli came Eleazar, who had no sons.
13-24:30 The
sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and
Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers.
13-24:31 These
likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons
of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the
chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers
over against their younger brethren.
13-25:1 Moreover
David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who
should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number
of the workmen according to their service was:
13-25:2 Of
the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and
Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under
the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.
13-25:3 Of
Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and
Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their
father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the
LORD.
13-25:4 Of
Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah,
Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and
Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:
13-25:5 All
these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to
lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons
and three daughters.
13-25:9 Now
the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with
his brethren and sons were twelve:
13-25:10 The
third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:11 The
fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:12 The
fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:13 The
sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:14 The
seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:15 The
eighth to Jeshaiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:16 The
ninth to Mattaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:17 The
tenth to Shimei, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:18 The
eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:19 The
twelfth to Hashabiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:20 The
thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:21 The
fourteenth to Mattithiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:22 The
fifteenth to Jeremoth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:23 The
sixteenth to Hananiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:24 The
seventeenth to Joshbekashah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:25 The
eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:26 The
nineteenth to Mallothi, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:27 The
twentieth to Eliathah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:28 The
one and twentieth to Hothir, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:29 The
two and twentieth to Giddalti, he, his
sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:30 The
three and twentieth to Mahazioth, he, his
sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-25:31 The
four and twentieth to Romamtiezer, he, his
sons, and his brethren, were twelve.
13-26:1 Concerning
the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the son of Kore,
of the sons of Asaph.
13-26:2 And
the sons of Meshelemiah were, Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the
third, Jathniel the fourth,
13-26:4 Moreover
the sons of Obededom were, Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third,
and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,
13-26:6 Also
unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their
father: for they were mighty men of
valour.
13-26:7 The
sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed,
Elzabad, whose brethren were strong
men, Elihu, and Semachiah.
13-26:8 All
these of the sons of Obededom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the
service, were threescore and two of
Obededom.
13-26:9 And
Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men,
eighteen.
13-26:10 Also
Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons;
Simri the chief, (for though he was
not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;)
13-26:11 Hilkiah
the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.
13-26:15 To
Obededom southward; and to his sons the house of
Asuppim.
13-26:19 These
are the divisions of the porters
among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.
13-26:21 As concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons
of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, even
of Laadan the Gershonite, were Jehieli.
13-26:22 The
sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, which were over the treasures of the
house of the LORD.
13-26:29 Of
the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over
Israel, for officers and judges.
13-27:32 Also
Jonathan David’s uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel
the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons:
13-28:1 And
David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the
captains of the companies that ministered to the king by course, and the
captains over the thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the stewards
over all the substance and possession of the king, and of his sons, with the officers, and with the mighty men, and
with all the valiant men, unto Jerusalem.
13-28:4 Howbeit
the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king
over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father;
and among the sons of my father he liked me to
make me king over all Israel:
13-28:5 And
of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many
sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the
LORD over Israel.
13-29:24 And
all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons
likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.
14-5:12 Also
the Levites which were the singers,
all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being
arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at
the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding
with trumpets:)
14-11:14 For
the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and
Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast
them off from executing the priest’s office unto the LORD:
14-11:21 And
Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his
concubines: (for he took eighteen wives, and threescore concubines; and begat
twenty and eight sons, and threescore
daughters.)
14-13:5 Ought
ye not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to
David for ever, even to him and to
his sons by a covenant of salt?
14-13:8 And
now ye think to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and ye be a great multitude, and there
are with you golden calves, which Jeroboam made you for gods.
14-13:9 Have
ye not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons
of Aaron, and the Levites, and have made you priests after the manner of the
nations of other lands? so that
whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them that are no gods.
14-13:10 But
as for us, the LORD is our God, and
we have not forsaken him; and the priests, which minister unto the LORD, are the sons
of Aaron, and the Levites wait upon their business:
14-13:21 But
Abijah waxed mighty, and married fourteen wives, and begat twenty and two sons, and sixteen daughters.
14-20:14 Then
upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son
of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of
the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD
in the midst of the congregation;
14-21:2 And
he had brethren the sons of Jehoshaphat,
Azariah, and Jehiel, and Zechariah, and Azariah, and Michael, and Shephatiah:
all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel.
14-21:7 Howbeit
the LORD would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he
had made with David, and as he promised to give a light to him and to his sons for ever.
14-21:17 And
they came up into Judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance
that was found in the king’s house, and his sons
also, and his wives; so that there was never a son
left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.
14-22:8 And
it came to pass, that, when Jehu was executing judgment upon the house of Ahab,
and found the princes of Judah, and the sons of
the brethren of Ahaziah, that ministered to Ahaziah, he slew them.
14-22:11 But
Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son
of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons
that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath,
the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the
sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.
14-23:3 And
all the congregation made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And he
said unto them, Behold, the king’s son shall
reign, as the LORD hath said of the sons of
David.
14-23:11 Then
they brought out the king’s son, and put
upon him the crown, and gave him the
testimony, and made him king. And Jehoiada and his sons
anointed him, and said, God save the king.
14-24:3 And
Jehoiada took for him two wives; and he begat sons
and daughters.
14-24:7 For
the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, had
broken up the house of God; and also all the dedicated things of the house of
the LORD did they bestow upon Baalim.
14-24:25 And
when they were departed from him, (for they left him in great diseases,) his
own servants conspired against him for the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and slew him on his bed, and he died:
and they buried him in the city of David, but they buried him not in the
sepulchres of the kings.
14-24:27 Now
concerning his sons, and the greatness of the burdens laid upon him, and the repairing of the
house of God, behold, they are written
in the story of the book of the kings. And Amaziah his son
reigned in his stead.
14-26:18 And
they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the
LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that
are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast
trespassed; neither shall it be for
thine honour from the LORD God.
14-28:8 And
the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred
thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took
also away much spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.
14-29:9 For,
lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons
and our daughters and our wives are in
captivity for this.
14-29:11 My
sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath
chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto
him, and burn incense.
14-29:12 Then
the Levites arose, Mahath the son of Amasai,
and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites: and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son
of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehalelel:
and of the Gershonites; Joah the son of
Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah:
14-29:13 And
of the sons of Elizaphan; Shimri, and Jeiel: and
of the sons of Asaph; Zechariah, and Mattaniah:
14-29:14 And
of the sons of Heman; Jehiel, and Shimei: and of
the sons of Jeduthun; Shemaiah, and Uzziel.
14-29:21 And
they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he
goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for
Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of
Aaron to offer them on the altar of
the LORD.
14-31:18 And
to the genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the
congregation: for in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness:
14-31:19 Also
of the sons of Aaron the priests, which were in the fields of the suburbs
of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to
give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were reckoned
by genealogies among the Levites.
14-32:33 And
Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the chiefest of the sepulchres
of the sons of David: and all Judah and the
inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honour at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.
14-34:12 And
the men did the work faithfully: and the overseers of them were Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathites, to set it forward; and other of the
Levites, all that could skill of instruments of musick.
14-35:14 And
afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the
priests the sons of Aaron were busied in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night;
therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of Aaron.
14-35:15 And
the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to the
commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king’s seer; and
the porters waited at every gate;
they might not depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites
prepared for them.
14-36:20 And
them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they
were servants to him and his sons until the
reign of the kingdom of Persia:
15-3:9 Then
stood Jeshua with his sons and his brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of
Judah, together, to set forward the workmen in the house of God: the sons of Henadad, with
their sons and their brethren the Levites.
15-3:10 And
when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, they set the
priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after
the ordinance of David king of Israel.
15-6:10 That
they may offer sacrifices of sweet savours unto the God of heaven, and pray for
the life of the king, and of his sons.
15-7:23 Whatsoever
is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be diligently done for the house of
the God of heaven: for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king
and his sons?
15-8:2 Of
the sons of Phinehas; Gershom: of the sons of Ithamar; Daniel: of the sons of David; Hattush.
15-8:3 Of
the sons of Shechaniah, of the sons of Pharosh; Zechariah: and with him were reckoned
by genealogy of the males an hundred and fifty.
15-8:4 Of
the sons of Pahathmoab; Elihoenai the son of Zerahiah, and with him two hundred males.
15-8:5 Of
the sons of Shechaniah; the son of Jahaziel, and with him three hundred males.
15-8:6 Of
the sons also of Adin; Ebed the son of Jonathan, and with him fifty males.
15-8:7 And
of the sons of Elam; Jeshaiah the son of Athaliah, and with him seventy males.
15-8:8 And
of the sons of Shephatiah; Zebadiah the son of Michael, and with him fourscore males.
15-8:9 Of
the sons of Joab; Obadiah the son of Jehiel, and with him two hundred and
eighteen males.
15-8:10 And
of the sons of Shelomith; the son of Josiphiah, and with him an hundred and
threescore males.
15-8:11 And
of the sons of Bebai; Zechariah the son of Bebai, and with him twenty and eight males.
15-8:12 And
of the sons of Azgad; Johanan the son of Hakkatan, and with him an hundred and ten
males.
15-8:13 And
of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and
Shemaiah, and with them threescore males.
15-8:14 Of
the sons also of Bigvai; Uthai, and Zabbud, and
with them seventy males.
15-8:15 And
I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we
in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there
none of the sons of Levi.
15-8:18 And
by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of
the sons of Mahli, the son
of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah,
with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;
15-8:19 And
Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of
Merari, his brethren and their sons, twenty;
15-9:2 For
they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves
with the people of those lands: yea,
the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.
15-9:12 Now
therefore give not your daughters unto their sons,
neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor
seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the
good of the land, and leave it for an
inheritance to your children for ever.
15-10:2 And
Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons
of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our God, and
have taken strange wives of the people of the land: yet now there is hope in
Israel concerning this thing.
15-10:18 And
among the sons of the priests there were found
that had taken strange wives: namely, of
the sons of Jeshua the son
of Jozadak, and his brethren; Maaseiah, and Eliezer, and Jarib, and Gedaliah.
15-10:20 And
of the sons of Immer; Hanani, and Zebadiah.
15-10:21 And
of the sons of Harim; Maaseiah, and Elijah, and
Shemaiah, and Jehiel, and Uzziah.
15-10:22 And
of the sons of Pashur; Elioenai, Maaseiah,
Ishmael, Nethaneel, Jozabad, and Elasah.
15-10:25 Moreover
of Israel: of the sons of Parosh; Ramiah, and
Jeziah, and Malchiah, and Miamin, and Eleazar, and Malchijah, and Benaiah.
15-10:26 And
of the sons of Elam; Mattaniah, Zechariah, and
Jehiel, and Abdi, and Jeremoth, and Eliah.
15-10:27 And
of the sons of Zattu; Elioenai, Eliashib,
Mattaniah, and Jeremoth, and Zabad, and Aziza.
15-10:28 Of
the sons also of Bebai; Jehohanan, Hananiah,
Zabbai, and Athlai.
15-10:29 And
of the sons of Bani; Meshullam, Malluch, and
Adaiah, Jashub, and Sheal, and Ramoth.
15-10:30 And
of the sons of Pahathmoab; Adna, and Chelal,
Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattaniah, Bezaleel, and Binnui, and Manasseh.
15-10:31 And
of the sons
of Harim; Eliezer, Ishijah, Malchiah, Shemaiah, Shimeon,
15-10:33 Of
the sons of Hashum; Mattenai, Mattathah, Zabad,
Eliphelet, Jeremai, Manasseh, and Shimei.
15-10:34 Of
the sons of Bani; Maadai, Amram, and Uel,
15-10:43 Of
the sons of Nebo; Jeiel, Mattithiah, Zabad,
Zebina, Jadau, and Joel, Benaiah.
16-3:3 But
the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build,
who also laid the beams thereof, and
set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
16-4:14 And
I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the
rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight
for your brethren, your sons, and your
daughters, your wives, and your houses.
16-5:2 For
there were that said, We, our sons, and our
daughters, are many: therefore we
take up corn for them, that we may
eat, and live.
16-5:5 Yet
now our flesh is as the flesh of our
brethren, our children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought unto
bondage already: neither is it in our power to redeem them; for other men have our lands and vineyards.
16-10:9 And
the Levites: both Jeshua the son of Azaniah,
Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel;
16-10:28 And
the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the
Nethinims, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the
lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons,
and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding;
16-10:30 And
that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor take
their daughters for our sons:
16-10:36 Also
the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as
it is written in the law, and the
firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God,
unto the priests that minister in the house of our God:
16-11:6 All
the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight
valiant men.
16-11:7 And
these are the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son
of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son
of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son
of Jesaiah.
16-11:22 The
overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was
Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son
of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God.
16-12:23 The
sons of Levi, the chief of the fathers, were written in the book of the
chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son
of Eliashib.
16-12:28 And
the sons of the singers gathered themselves
together, both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the
villages of Netophathi;
16-12:35 And
certain of the priests’ sons with trumpets; namely, Zechariah the son of
Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son
of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph:
16-13:25 And
I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked
off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying,
Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons,
nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for
yourselves.
16-13:28 And
one of the sons
of Joiada, the son of Eliashib the high
priest, was son
in law to Sanballat the Horonite: therefore I chased him from me.
17-9:10 The
ten sons of Haman the son
of Hammedatha, the enemy of the Jews, slew they; but on the spoil laid they not
their hand.
17-9:12 And
the king said unto Esther the queen, The Jews have slain and destroyed five
hundred men in Shushan the palace, and the ten sons
of Haman; what have they done in the rest of the king’s provinces? now what is thy petition? and it shall be granted
thee: or what is thy request further?
and it shall be done.
17-9:13 Then
said Esther, If it please the king, let it be granted to the Jews which are in Shushan to do to morrow also
according unto this day’s decree, and let Haman’s ten sons
be hanged upon the gallows.
17-9:14 And
the king commanded it so to be done: and the decree was given at Shushan; and
they hanged Haman’s ten sons.
17-9:25 But
when Esther came before the king, he
commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the Jews,
should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons
should be hanged on the gallows.
18-1:2 And
there were born unto him seven sons and three
daughters.
18-1:4 And
his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their
three sisters to eat and to drink with them.
18-1:5 And
it was so, when the days of their feasting
were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the
morning, and offered burnt offerings according
to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus
did Job continually.
18-1:6 Now
there was a day when the sons of God came to
present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
18-1:13 And
there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their
eldest brother’s house:
18-1:18 While
he was yet speaking, there came also
another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their
eldest brother’s house:
18-2:1 Again
there was a day when the sons of God came to
present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present
himself before the LORD.
18-14:21 His
sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he
perceiveth it not of them.
18-38:7 When
the morning stars sang together, and all the sons
of God shouted for joy?
18-38:32 Canst
thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his
sons?
18-42:13 He
had also seven sons and three daughters.
18-42:16 After
this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons,
and his sons’ sons,
even four generations.
19-4:2 O
ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and
seek after leasing? Selah.
19-31:19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that
trust in thee before the sons of men!
19-33:13 The
LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons
of men.
19-42:title To the chief Musician, Maschil, for
the sons of Korah.
19-44:title To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, Maschil.
19-45:title To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim,
for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves.
19-46:title To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth.
19-47:title To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the
sons of Korah.
19-48:title A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah.
19-49:title To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the
sons of Korah.
19-57:4 My
soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue
a sharp sword.
19-58:1 Do
ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
19-77:15 Thou
hast with thine arm redeemed thy
people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
19-84:title To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A
Psalm for the sons of Korah.
19-85:title To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the
sons of Korah.
19-87:title A Psalm or Song for the sons of Korah.
19-88:title A Song or Psalm for the sons of Korah, to
the chief Musician upon Mahalath Leannoth, Maschil of Heman the Ezrahite.
19-89:6 For
who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can
be likened unto the LORD?
19-106:37 Yea,
they sacrificed their sons and their daughters
unto devils,
19-106:38 And
shed innocent blood, even the blood
of their sons and of their daughters, whom they
sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
19-144:12 That
our sons may
be as plants grown up in their youth; that
our daughters may be as corner
stones, polished after the similitude
of a palace:
19-145:12 To
make known to the sons of men his mighty acts,
and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
20-8:4 Unto
you, O men, I call; and my voice is to
the sons of man.
20-8:31 Rejoicing
in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.
21-1:13 And
I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this
sore travail hath God given to the sons of man
to be exercised therewith.
21-2:3 I
sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with
wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men,
which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.
21-2:8 I
gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the
provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical
instruments, and that of all sorts.
21-3:10 I
have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons
of men to be exercised in it.
21-3:18 I
said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons
of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they
themselves are beasts.
21-3:19 For
that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth
beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other;
yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast:
for all is vanity.
21-8:11 Because
sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of
the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
21-9:3 This
is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that
there is one event unto all: yea,
also the heart of the sons of men is full of
evil, and madness is in their heart
while they live, and after that they go to
the dead.
21-9:12 For
man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and
as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an
evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.
22-2:3 As the
apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is
my beloved among the sons. I sat down under
his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.
23-37:38 And
it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that
Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with
the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.
23-39:7 And
of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which
thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace
of the king of Babylon.
23-43:6 I
will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the
earth;
23-45:11 Thus
saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come
concerning my sons, and concerning the work of
my hands command ye me.
23-49:22 Thus
saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set
up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons
in their arms, and thy daughters
shall be carried upon their shoulders.
23-51:18 There is none to guide her among all the
sons whom she
hath brought forth; neither is there any that
taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up.
23-51:20 Thy
sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all
the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD,
the rebuke of thy God.
23-52:14 As
many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his
form more than the sons of men:
23-56:5 Even
unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name
better than of sons and of daughters: I will
give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
23-56:6 Also
the sons of the stranger, that join themselves
to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his
servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold
of my covenant;
23-57:3 But
draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the
seed of the adulterer and the whore.
23-60:4 Lift
up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they
come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and
thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
23-60:9 Surely
the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them,
unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he
hath glorified thee.
23-60:10 And
the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls,
and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in
my favour have I had mercy on thee.
23-60:14 The
sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come
bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at
the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion
of the Holy One of Israel.
23-61:5 And
strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons
of the alien shall be your plowmen
and your vinedressers.
23-62:5 For
as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons
marry thee: and as the bridegroom
rejoiceth over the bride, so shall
thy God rejoice over thee.
23-62:8 The
LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I
will no more give thy corn to be meat
for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger
shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
24-3:24 For
shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and
their herds, their sons and their daughters.
24-5:17 And
they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters
should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy
vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou
trustedst, with the sword.
24-6:21 Therefore
thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and
the fathers and the sons together shall fall
upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.
24-7:31 And
they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of
Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters
in the fire; which I commanded them not,
neither came it into my heart.
24-11:22 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall
die by the sword; their sons and their daughters
shall die by famine:
24-13:14 And
I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor
spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.
24-14:16 And
the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem
because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them,
them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their
daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.
24-16:2 Thou
shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons
or daughters in this place.
24-16:3 For
thus saith the LORD concerning the sons and
concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their
mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this
land;
24-19:5 They
have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons
with fire for burnt offerings unto
Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it,
neither came it into my mind:
24-19:9 And
I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons
and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his
friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek
their lives, shall straiten them.
24-29:6 Take
ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take
wives for your sons, and give your daughters to
husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters;
that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.
24-32:19 Great
in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons
of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of
his doings:
24-32:35 And
they built the high places of Baal, which are
in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to
cause their sons and their daughters to pass
through the fire unto Molech; which I
commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this
abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
24-35:3 Then
I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;
24-35:4 And
I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son
of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by
the chamber of the princes, which was above
the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum,
the keeper of the door:
24-35:5 And
I set before the sons of the house of the
Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.
24-35:6 But
they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son
of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye, nor your sons for ever:
24-35:8 Thus
have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son
of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our
days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our
daughters;
24-35:14 The
words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he
commanded his sons not to drink wine, are
performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s
commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking;
but ye hearkened not unto me.
24-35:16 Because
the sons of Jonadab the son
of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded
them; but this people hath not hearkened unto me:
24-39:6 Then
the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in
Riblah before his eyes: also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah.
24-40:8 Then
they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son
of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons
of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth,
and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and
Jezaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and
their men.
24-48:46 Woe
be unto thee, O Moab! the people of Chemosh perisheth: for thy sons are taken captives, and thy daughters captives.
24-49:1 Concerning
the Ammonites, thus saith the LORD; Hath Israel no sons?
hath he no heir? why then doth their
king inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his cities?
24-52:10 And
the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah
before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.
25-4:2 The
precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold,
how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter!
26-5:10 Therefore
the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of
thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and
I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter
into all the winds.
26-14:16 Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but
the land shall be desolate.
26-14:18 Though
these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they
shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but
they only shall be delivered themselves.
26-14:22 Yet,
behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons
and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their
way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have
brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning
all that I have brought upon it.
26-16:20 Moreover
thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom
thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be
devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a
small matter,
26-20:31 For
when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons
to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto
this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
not be enquired of by you.
26-23:4 And
the names of them were Aholah the
elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah,
and Jerusalem Aholibah.
26-23:10 These
discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and
her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women;
for they had executed judgment upon her.
26-23:25 And
I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee:
they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the
sword: they shall take thy sons and thy
daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.
26-23:37 That
they have committed adultery, and blood is
in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have
also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me,
to pass for them through the fire, to
devour them.
26-23:47 And
the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords;
they shall slay their sons and their daughters,
and burn up their houses with fire.
26-24:21 Speak
unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary,
the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your
soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters
whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.
26-24:25 Also,
thou son of man, shall it not be in the
day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of
their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,
26-40:46 And
the chamber whose prospect is toward
the north is for the priests, the keepers
of the charge of the altar: these are the
sons of Zadok among the sons
of Levi, which come near to the LORD to minister unto him.
26-44:15 But
the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that
kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from
me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before
me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:
26-46:16 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons’; it shall
be their possession by inheritance.
26-46:18 Moreover
the prince shall not take of the people’s inheritance by oppression, to thrust
them out of their possession; but he
shall give his sons inheritance out of his own
possession: that my people be not scattered every man from his possession.
26-48:11 It shall be for the priests that are
sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept
my charge, which went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the
Levites went astray.
27-5:21 And
he was driven from the sons of men; and his
heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his
body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled
in the kingdom of men, and that he
appointeth over it whomsoever he will.
27-10:16 And,
behold, one like the similitude of
the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened
my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the
vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
27-11:10 But
his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble
a multitude of great forces: and one shall
certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be
stirred up, even to his fortress.
28-1:10 Yet
the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which
cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto
them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons
of the living God.
29-1:12 The
vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm
tree also, and the apple tree, even all
the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
29-2:28 And
it shall come to pass afterward, that I
will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons
and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young
men shall see visions:
29-3:8 And
I will sell your sons and your daughters into
the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to
a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
30-2:11 And
I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of
your young men for Nazarites. Is it not
even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.
30-7:17 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and
thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and
Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.
33-5:7 And
the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the
LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for
the sons of men.
38-9:13 When
I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons,
O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.
39-3:3 And
he shall sit as a refiner and
purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons
of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD
an offering in righteousness.
39-3:6 For
I am the LORD, I change not;
therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
40-20:20 Then came to
him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons,
worshipping him, and desiring a
certain thing of him.
40-20:21 And he
said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other
on the left, in thy kingdom.
40-21:28 But what
think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.
40-26:37 And he
took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee,
and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
41-3:17 And James
the son
of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges,
which is, The sons of thunder:
41-3:28 Verily I
say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons
of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
41-10:35 And James
and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him,
saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall
desire.
42-5:10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And
Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
42-11:19 And if I
by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons
cast them out? therefore shall they
be your judges.
42-15:11 And he
said, A certain man had two sons:
43-1:12 But as
many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even
to them that believe on his name:
43-21:2 There were
together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in
Galilee, and the sons
of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
44-2:17 And it
shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit
upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters
shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall
dream dreams:
44-7:16 And were
carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a
sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.
44-7:29 Then fled
Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat
two sons.
44-19:14 And there
were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief
of the priests, which did so.
45-8:14 For as
many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons
of God.
45-8:19 For the
earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
46-4:14 I
write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons
I warn you.
47-6:18 And
will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons
and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
48-4:5 To
redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
48-4:6 And
because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the
Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying,
Abba, Father.
48-4:22 For it is
written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a
bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
49-3:5 Which in
other ages was not made known unto the sons of
men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
50-2:15 That ye
may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God,
without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye
shine as lights in the world;
58-2:10 For it
became him, for whom are all things,
and by whom are all things, in
bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain
of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
58-7:5 And
verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who
receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the
people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out
of the loins of Abraham:
58-11:21 By faith
Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons
of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon
the top of his staff.
58-12:7 If ye
endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons;
for what son is he whom the father
chasteneth not?
58-12:8 But if ye
be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and
not sons.
62-3:1 Behold, what
manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not,
because it knew him not.
62-3:2 Beloved,
now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet
appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be
like him; for we shall see him as he is.
