01-6:16 A window shalt thou make to the ark,
and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou
set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories
shalt thou make it.
01-38:21 Then he asked the men of that place,
saying, Where is the harlot, that was openly by the way side? And they said, There was no harlot in this place.
02-2:5 And
the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself
at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river’s side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she
sent her maid to fetch it.
02-12:7 And
they shall take of the blood, and strike it
on the two side posts and on the upper door
post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
02-12:22 And
ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it
in the blood that is in the
bason, and strike the lintel and the two side
posts with the blood that is in the
bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
02-12:23 For
the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood
upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the
LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto
your houses to smite you.
02-17:12 But
Moses’ hands were heavy; and they
took a stone, and put it under him,
and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down
of the sun.
02-25:12 And
thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
02-25:32 And
six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the
candlestick out of the one side, and three
branches of the candlestick out of the other side:
02-26:13 And
a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the
other side of that which remaineth in the length
of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on
this side and on that side,
to cover it.
02-26:18 And
thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward.
02-26:20 And
for the second side of the tabernacle on the
north side there
shall be twenty boards:
02-26:26 And
thou shalt make bars of shittim wood;
five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
02-26:27 And
five bars for the boards of the other side of
the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side
of the tabernacle, for the two sides westward.
02-26:35 And
thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the
table on the side of the tabernacle toward the
south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side.
02-27:9 And
thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there
shall be hangings for the court of fine
twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side:
02-27:11 And
likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings of an hundred cubits long, and his twenty pillars and
their twenty sockets of brass; the
hooks of the pillars and their fillets of
silver.
02-27:12 And
for the breadth of the court on the
west side shall
be hangings of fifty cubits: their pillars ten, and their sockets ten.
02-27:13 And
the breadth of the court on the east side
eastward shall be fifty cubits.
02-27:14 The
hangings of one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their
sockets three.
02-27:15 And
on the other side shall be hangings fifteen cubits:
their pillars three, and their sockets three.
02-28:26 And
thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put them upon the two ends of
the breastplate in the border thereof, which is in the side of the ephod inward.
02-32:15 And
Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony
were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the
one side and on the other were they written.
02-32:26 Then
Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons
of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
02-32:27 And
he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword
by his side, and
go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his
brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.
02-36:11 And
he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain from the selvedge in the
coupling: likewise he made in the uttermost side
of another curtain, in the coupling
of the second.
02-36:23 And
he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward:
02-36:25 And
for the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he
made twenty boards,
02-36:31 And
he made bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
02-36:32 And
five bars for the boards of the other side of
the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the sides
westward.
02-37:3 And
he cast for it four rings of gold, to be
set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it.
02-37:8 One
cherub on the end on this side, and another
cherub on the other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims on
the two ends thereof.
02-37:18 And
six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick
out of the one side thereof, and three branches
of the candlestick out of the other side
thereof:
02-38:9 And
he made the court: on the south side southward
the hangings of the court were of fine
twined linen, an hundred cubits:
02-38:11 And
for the north side the hangings were an hundred cubits, their pillars were twenty, and their sockets of brass
twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.
02-38:12 And
for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets
ten; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.
02-38:13 And
for the east side eastward fifty cubits.
02-38:14 The
hangings of the one side of the gate were fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their
sockets three.
02-38:15 And
for the other side of the court gate, on this
hand and that hand, were hangings of
fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.
02-39:19 And
they made two rings of gold, and put them
on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side
of the ephod inward.
02-40:22 And
he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.
02-40:24 And
he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table,
on the side of the tabernacle southward.
03-1:11 And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: and the
priests, Aaron’s sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.
03-1:15 And the priest shall bring it unto
the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it
on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar:
03-5:9 And he shall sprinkle of the blood
of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and
the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.
04-2:3 And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the
standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the
son of Amminadab shall be captain of
the children of Judah.
04-2:10 On
the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their
armies: and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.
04-2:18 On
the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their
armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.
04-2:25 The
standard of the camp of Dan shall be on
the north side by their armies: and the captain
of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer
the son of Ammishaddai.
04-3:29 The
families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side
of the tabernacle southward.
04-3:35 And
the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.
04-10:6 When
ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an
alarm for their journeys.
04-11:31 And
there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let
them fall by the camp, as it were a
day’s journey on this side, and as it were a
day’s journey on the other side, round about the
camp, and as it were two cubits high upon
the face of the earth.
04-16:27 So
they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the
door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little
children.
04-21:13 From
thence they removed, and pitched on the other side
of Arnon, which is in the wilderness
that cometh out of the coasts of the Amorites: for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.
04-22:1 And
the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in the plains of Moab on this side Jordan by Jericho.
04-22:24 But
the angel of the LORD stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side,
and a wall on that side.
04-24:6 As
the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river’s side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath
planted, and as cedar trees beside
the waters.
04-32:19 For
we will not inherit with them on yonder side
Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward.
04-32:32 We
will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that the
possession of our inheritance on this side
Jordan may be ours.
04-34:11 And
the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall
reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth
eastward:
04-34:15 The
two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near
Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
04-35:5 And
ye shall measure from without the city on the east side
two thousand cubits, and on the south side two
thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand
cubits, and on the north side two thousand
cubits; and the city shall be in the
midst: this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities.
04-35:14 Ye
shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and
three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge.
05-1:1 These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against
the Red sea, between Paran, and
Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.
05-1:5 On
this side Jordan, in the land of Moab, began
Moses to declare this law, saying,
05-1:7 Turn
you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain,
in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon,
unto the great river, the river Euphrates.
05-3:8 And
we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land
that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount
Hermon;
05-4:32 For
ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that
God created man upon the earth, and ask from
the one side of heaven unto the other, whether
there hath been any such thing as
this great thing is, or hath been
heard like it?
05-4:41 Then
Moses severed three cities on this side Jordan
toward the sun rising;
05-4:46 On
this side Jordan, in the valley over against
Bethpeor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom
Moses and the children of Israel smote, after they were come forth out of
Egypt:
05-4:47 And
they possessed his land, and the land of Og king of Bashan, two kings of the
Amorites, which were on this side Jordan toward the sun rising;
05-4:49 And
all the plain on this side Jordan eastward, even
unto the sea of the plain, under the springs of Pisgah.
05-11:30 Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in
the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal,
beside the plains of Moreh?
05-31:26 Take
this book of the law, and put it in the side of
the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a
witness against thee.
06-1:14 Your wives, your little ones, and your
cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren
armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them;
06-1:15 Until
the LORD have given your brethren rest, as he
hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your
God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and
enjoy it, which Moses the LORD’S servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising.
06-2:10 For
we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye
came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.
06-5:1 And
it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward,
and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were
by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from
before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart
melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of
Israel.
06-7:2 And
Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is
beside Bethaven, on the east side of Bethel,
and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and
viewed Ai.
06-7:7 And
Joshua said, Alas, O Lord GOD, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people
over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would
to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side
Jordan!
06-8:9 Joshua
therefore sent them forth: and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between
Bethel and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but
Joshua lodged that night among the people.
06-8:11 And
all the people, even the people of
war that were with him, went up, and
drew nigh, and came before the city, and pitched on the north side of Ai: now there
was a valley between them and Ai.
06-8:12 And
he took about five thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel
and Ai, on the west side of the city.
06-8:22 And
the other issued out of the city against them; so they were in the midst of
Israel, some on this side, and some on that side: and they smote them, so that they let none of
them remain or escape.
06-8:33 And
all Israel, and their elders, and officers, and their judges, stood on this side the ark and on that side
before the priests the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD,
as well the stranger, as he that was born among them; half of them over against
mount Gerizim, and half of them over against mount Ebal; as Moses the servant
of the LORD had commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel.
06-9:1 And
it came to pass, when all the kings which were
on this side Jordan, in the hills, and in
the valleys, and in all the coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon, the
Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the
Jebusite, heard thereof;
06-12:1 Now
these are the kings of the land,
which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the
river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
06-12:7 And
these are the kings of the country
which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side
Jordan on the west, from Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount
Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their
divisions;
06-13:27 And
in the valley, Betharam, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of
the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the
edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side
Jordan eastward.
06-13:32 These
are the countries which Moses did distribute
for inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side
Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.
06-14:3 For
Moses had given the inheritance of two tribes and an half tribe on the other side Jordan: but unto the Levites he gave none
inheritance among them.
06-15:3 And
it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim,
and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side
unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched
a compass to Karkaa:
06-15:7 And
the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward,
looking toward Gilgal, that is before
the going up to Adummim, which is on
the south side of the river: and the border
passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel:
06-15:8 And
the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain
that lieth before the valley of
Hinnom westward, which is at the end
of the valley of the giants northward:
06-15:10 And
the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along
unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Bethshemesh, and passed on to
Timnah:
06-15:11 And
the border went out unto the side of Ekron
northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount
Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the
sea.
06-16:5 And
the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their
inheritance on the east side was Atarothaddar,
unto Bethhoron the upper;
06-16:6 And
the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto
Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;
06-17:5 And
there fell ten portions to Manasseh, beside the land of Gilead and Bashan,
which were on the other side Jordan;
06-17:9 And
the coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the river: these cities
of Ephraim are among the cities of
Manasseh: the coast of Manasseh also was on
the north side of the river, and the outgoings
of it were at the sea:
06-18:12 And
their border on the north side was from Jordan;
and the border went up to the side of Jericho on
the north side, and went up through the
mountains westward; and the goings out thereof were at the wilderness of
Bethaven.
06-18:13 And
the border went over from thence toward Luz, to the side
of Luz, which is Bethel, southward;
and the border descended to Atarothadar, near the hill that lieth on the south side of the nether Bethhoron.
06-18:16 And
the border came down to the end of the mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom, and which is in the
valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to
the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended
to Enrogel,
06-18:18 And
passed along toward the side over against Arabah
northward, and went down unto Arabah:
06-18:19 And
the border passed along to the side of
Bethhoglah northward: and the outgoings of the border were at the north bay of
the salt sea at the south end of Jordan: this was the south coast.
06-18:20 And
Jordan was the border of it on the east side.
This was the inheritance of the
children of Benjamin, by the coasts thereof round about, according to their
families.
06-19:14 And
the border compasseth it on the north side to
Hannathon: and the outgoings thereof are in the valley of Jiphthahel:
06-19:27 And
turneth toward the sunrising to Bethdagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the
valley of Jiphthahel toward the north side of
Bethemek, and Neiel, and goeth out to Cabul on the left hand,
06-19:34 And
then the coast turneth westward to
Aznothtabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on
the south side, and reacheth to Asher on the
west side, and to Judah upon Jordan toward the
sunrising.
06-20:8 And
on the other side Jordan by Jericho eastward,
they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon the plain out of the tribe of
Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out
of the tribe of Manasseh.
06-22:4 And
now the LORD your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them:
therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of
the LORD gave you on the other side Jordan.
06-22:7 Now
to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh
Moses had given possession in Bashan:
but unto the other half thereof gave
Joshua among their brethren on this side Jordan
westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents, then he blessed
them,
06-24:2 And
Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your
fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in
old time, even Terah, the father of
Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.
06-24:3 And
I took your father Abraham from the other side of
the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his
seed, and gave him Isaac.
06-24:8 And
I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the other side Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them
into your hand, that ye might possess their land; and I destroyed them from
before you.
06-24:14 Now
therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away
the gods which your fathers served on the other side
of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
06-24:15 And
if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will
serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood,
or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my
house, we will serve the LORD.
06-24:30 And
they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathserah, which is in mount Ephraim, on the north side of the hill of Gaash.
07-2:9 And they buried him in the border
of his inheritance in Timnathheres, in the mount of Ephraim, on the north side of the hill Gaash.
07-7:1 Then
Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the
people that were with him, rose up
early, and pitched beside the well of Harod: so that the host of the Midianites
were on the north side of them, by the hill of
Moreh, in the valley.
07-7:12 And
the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in
the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the
sea side for multitude.
07-7:18 When
I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are
with me, then blow ye the trumpets also on every side
of all the camp, and say, The sword of
the LORD, and of Gideon.
07-7:25 And
they took two princes of the Midianites, Oreb and Zeeb; and they slew Oreb upon
the rock Oreb, and Zeeb they slew at the winepress of Zeeb, and pursued Midian,
and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the other side Jordan.
07-8:34 And
the children of Israel remembered not the LORD their God, who had delivered
them out of the hands of all their enemies on every side:
07-10:8 And
that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all
the children of Israel that were on
the other side Jordan in the land of the
Amorites, which is in Gilead.
07-11:18 Then
they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the
land of Moab, and came by the east side of the
land of Moab, and pitched on the other side of
Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: for Arnon was the border of Moab.
07-19:1 And
it came to pass in those days, when there
was no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite sojourning on the side of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out
of Bethlehemjudah.
07-19:18 And
he said unto him, We are passing from
Bethlehemjudah toward the side of mount Ephraim;
from thence am I: and I went to
Bethlehemjudah, but I am now going to
the house of the LORD; and there is no
man that receiveth me to house.
07-21:19 Then
they said, Behold, there is a feast
of the LORD in Shiloh yearly in a place which
is on the north side of Bethel, on the east side
of the highway that goeth up from Bethel to Shechem, and on the south of
Lebonah.
09-4:18 And it came to pass, when he made
mention of the ark of God, that he fell from off the seat backward by the side of the gate, and his neck brake, and he died: for
he was an old man, and heavy. And he had judged Israel forty years.
09-6:8 And
take the ark of the LORD, and lay it upon the cart; and put the jewels of gold,
which ye return him for a trespass
offering, in a coffer by the side thereof; and
send it away, that it may go.
09-12:11 And
the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you
out of the hand of your enemies on every side,
and ye dwelled safe.
09-14:1 Now
it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said unto the young
man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over to the Philistines’ garrison,
that is on the other side. But he told not his father.
09-14:4 And
between the passages, by which Jonathan sought to go over unto the Philistines’
garrison, there was a sharp rock on
the one side, and a sharp rock on the other side: and the name of the one was Bozez, and the name of the other Seneh.
09-14:40 Then
said he unto all Israel, Be ye on one side, and
I and Jonathan my son will be on the other side.
And the people said unto Saul, Do what seemeth good unto thee.
09-14:47 So
Saul took the kingdom over Israel, and fought against all his enemies on every side, against Moab, and against the children of Ammon,
and against Edom, and against the kings of Zobah, and against the Philistines:
and whithersoever he turned himself, he vexed them.
09-17:3 And
the Philistines stood on a mountain on the one side,
and Israel stood on a mountain on the other side:
and there was a valley between them.
09-20:20 And
I will shoot three arrows on the side thereof, as though I shot at a mark.
09-20:21 And,
behold, I will send a lad, saying, Go,
find out the arrows. If I expressly say unto the lad, Behold, the arrows are on this side
of thee, take them; then come thou: for there
is peace to thee, and no hurt; as the
LORD liveth.
09-20:25 And
the king sat upon his seat, as at other times, even upon a seat by the wall: and Jonathan arose, and Abner sat by
Saul’s side, and David’s place was empty.
09-23:26 And
Saul went on this side of the mountain, and
David and his men on that side of the mountain:
and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men
compassed David and his men round about to take them.
09-26:13 Then
David went over to the other side, and stood on
the top of an hill afar off; a great space being
between them:
09-31:7 And
when the men of Israel that were on
the other side of the valley, and they that were on the other side Jordan, saw
that the men of Israel fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook
the cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.
10-2:13 And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the
servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat
down, the one on the one side of the pool, and
the other on the other side of the pool.
10-2:16 And
they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow’s side;
so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called Helkathhazzurim,
which is in Gibeon.
10-13:34 But
Absalom fled. And the young man that kept the watch lifted up his eyes, and
looked, and, behold, there came much people by the way of the hill side behind him.
10-16:13 And
as David and his men went by the way, Shimei went along on the hill’s side over against him, and cursed as he went, and
threw stones at him, and cast dust.
10-18:4 And
the king said unto them, What seemeth you best I will do. And the king stood by
the gate side, and all the people came out by
hundreds and by thousands.
10-24:5 And
they passed over Jordan, and pitched in Aroer, on the right side of the city that lieth in the midst of the river of Gad, and toward Jazer:
11-4:24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all
the kings on this side the river: and he had
peace on all sides round about him.
11-5:3 Thou
knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the
LORD his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet.
11-5:4 But
now the LORD my God hath given me rest on every side,
so that there is neither adversary
nor evil occurrent.
11-6:8 The
door for the middle chamber was in
the right side of the house: and they went up
with winding stairs into the middle chamber,
and out of the middle into the third.
11-6:31 And
for the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive tree: the lintel and
side posts were a fifth part of the
wall.
11-7:7 Then
he made a porch for the throne where he might judge, even the porch of judgment: and it
was covered with cedar from one side of the floor
to the other.
11-7:30 And
every base had four brasen wheels, and plates of brass: and the four corners
thereof had undersetters: under the laver were
undersetters molten, at the side of every
addition.
11-7:39 And
he put five bases on the right side of the
house, and five on the left side of the house:
and he set the sea on the right side of the
house eastward over against the south.
11-7:49 And
the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right side, and five on the left, before
the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold,
11-10:19 The
throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round behind: and there
were stays on either side on the place of
the seat, and two lions stood beside the stays.
11-10:20 And
twelve lions stood there on the one side and on
the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom.
12-3:22 And they rose up early in the morning,
and the sun shone upon the water, and the Moabites saw the water on the other side as red
as blood:
12-9:32 And
he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked
out to him two or three eunuchs.
12-12:9 But
Jehoiada the priest took a chest, and bored a hole in the lid of it, and set it
beside the altar, on the right side as one
cometh into the house of the LORD: and the priests that kept the door put
therein all the money that was brought
into the house of the LORD.
12-16:14 And
he brought also the brasen altar, which was
before the LORD, from the forefront of the house, from between the altar
and the house of the LORD, and put it on the north side
of the altar.
13-4:39 And they went to the entrance of
Gedor, even unto the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.
13-6:78 And
on the other side Jordan by Jericho, on the east
side of Jordan, were given them out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness
with her suburbs, and Jahzah with her suburbs,
13-12:18 Then
the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief
of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth
thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.
13-12:37 And
on the other side of Jordan, of the Reubenites,
and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of
instruments of war for the battle, an hundred and twenty thousand.
13-22:18 Is not the LORD your God with you? and
hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land
into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.
13-26:30 And of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his
brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, were officers among them of Israel on this side
Jordan westward in all the business of the LORD, and in the service of the
king.
14-4:8 He made also ten tables, and placed
them in the temple, five on the right
side, and five on the left. And he made an
hundred basons of gold.
14-4:10 And
he set the sea on the right side of the east
end, over against the south.
14-8:17 Then
went Solomon to Eziongeber, and to Eloth, at the sea side
in the land of Edom.
14-9:18 And
there were six steps to the throne,
with a footstool of gold, which were fastened
to the throne, and stays on each side of the
sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays:
14-9:19 And
twelve lions stood there on the one side and on
the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.
14-11:12 And
in every several city he put shields
and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.
14-14:7 Therefore
he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars,
while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our God, we have
sought him, and he hath given us rest
on every side. So they built and prospered.
14-20:2 Then
there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude
against thee from beyond the sea on this side
Syria; and, behold, they be in
Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.
14-23:10 And
he set all the people, every man having his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the temple to the left side of the temple, along by the altar and the temple, by the king
round about.
14-32:22 Thus
the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of
Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side.
14-32:30 This
same Hezekiah also stopped the upper watercourse of Gihon, and brought it
straight down to the west side of the city of David.
And Hezekiah prospered in all his works.
14-33:14 Now
after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in
at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height,
and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.
15-4:10 And the rest of the nations whom the
great and noble Asnapper brought over, and set in the cities of Samaria, and
the rest that are on this side the river, and at such a time.
15-4:11 This
is the copy of the letter that they
sent unto him, even unto Artaxerxes
the king; Thy servants the men on this side the
river, and at such a time.
15-4:16 We
certify the king that, if this city be builded again, and the walls thereof set up, by this means thou shalt have
no portion on this side the river.
15-5:3 At
the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side
the river, and Shetharboznai, and their companions, and said thus unto them,
Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?
15-5:6 The
copy of the letter that Tatnai, governor on this side
the river, and Shetharboznai, and his companions the Apharsachites, which were on this side
the river, sent unto Darius the king:
15-6:13 Then
Tatnai, governor on this side the river,
Shetharboznai, and their companions, according to that which Darius the king
had sent, so they did speedily.
15-8:36 And
they delivered the king’s commissions unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the
governors on this side the river: and they
furthered the people, and the house of God.
16-3:7 And next unto them repaired
Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of
Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side
the river.
16-4:18 For the builders, every one had his
sword girded by his side, and so builded. And he that sounded the
trumpet was by me.
18-1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about
him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his
substance is increased in the land.
18-18:11 Terrors shall make him afraid on
every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
18-18:12 His strength shall be hungerbitten,
and destruction shall be ready at his
side.
18-19:10 He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed
like a tree.
19-12:8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
19-31:13 For I have heard the slander of many:
fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me,
they devised to take away my life.
19-65:12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice
on every side.
19-71:21 Thou shalt increase my greatness, and
comfort me on every side.
19-91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
19-118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what
can man do unto me?
19-124:1 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side,
now may Israel say;
19-124:2 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side,
when men rose up against us:
21-4:1 So I returned, and considered all
the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no
comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no
comforter.
23-60:4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and
see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come
from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
24-6:25 Go not forth into the field, nor
walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and
fear is on every side.
24-20:10 For I heard the defaming of many,
fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my
halting, saying, Peradventure he will
be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on
him.
24-49:29 Their tents and their flocks shall
they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their
vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is on every side.
24-52:23 And there were ninety and six
pomegranates on a side; and all the pomegranates upon the network were an hundred round about.
26-1:10 As for the likeness of their faces,
they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
26-1:23 And
under the firmament were their wings
straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.
26-4:4 Lie
thou also upon thy left side, and lay the
iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according
to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their
iniquity.
26-4:6 And
when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of
Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.
26-4:8 And,
behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy
siege.
26-4:9 Take
thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and
fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that
thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and
ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
26-9:2 And,
behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the
north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s
inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood
beside the brasen altar.
26-9:3 And
the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was,
to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen,
which had the writer’s inkhorn by his
side;
26-9:11 And,
behold, the man clothed with linen, which had
the inkhorn by his side, reported the
matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.
26-10:3 Now
the cherubims stood on the right side of the
house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
26-11:23 And
the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the
mountain which is on the east side of the city.
26-16:33 They
give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and
hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side
for thy whoredom.
26-19:8 Then
the nations set against him on every side from
the provinces, and spread their net over him: he was taken in their pit.
26-23:22 Therefore,
O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against
thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on
every side;
26-25:9 Therefore,
behold, I will open the side of Moab from the
cities, from his cities which are on
his frontiers, the glory of the country, Bethjeshimoth, Baalmeon, and
Kiriathaim,
26-28:23 For
I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded
shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-34:21 Because
ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and
pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;
26-36:3 Therefore
prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on
every side, that ye might be a possession unto
the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:
26-37:21 And
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of
Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on
every side, and bring them into their own land:
26-39:17 And,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to
every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on
every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice
for you, even a great sacrifice upon
the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
26-40:10 And
the little chambers of the gate eastward were
three on this side, and three on that side; they three were
of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on that side.
26-40:12 The
space also before the little chambers was
one cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit on that side: and the
little chambers were six cubits on
this side, and six cubits on that side.
26-40:18 And
the pavement by the side of the gates over
against the length of the gates was the
lower pavement.
26-40:21 And
the little chambers thereof were three
on this side and three on that side; and the posts thereof and the arches thereof
were after the measure of the first gate: the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth five
and twenty cubits.
26-40:26 And
there were seven steps to go up to
it, and the arches thereof were before
them: and it had palm trees, one on this side,
and another on that side, upon the posts
thereof.
26-40:34 And
the arches thereof were toward the
outward court; and palm trees were upon
the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps.
26-40:37 And
the posts thereof were toward the
utter court; and palm trees were upon
the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps.
26-40:39 And
in the porch of the gate were two
tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt offering and the sin
offering and the trespass offering.
26-40:40 And
at the side without, as one goeth up to the
entry of the north gate, were two
tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables.
26-40:41 Four
tables were on this side, and four tables on that side,
by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon
they slew their sacrifices.
26-40:44 And
without the inner gate were the
chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate;
and their prospect was toward the
south: one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north.
26-40:48 And
he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side:
and the breadth of the gate was three
cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.
26-40:49 The
length of the porch was twenty
cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits; and he
brought me by the steps whereby they went up to it: and there were pillars by the posts, one on
this side, and another on that side.
26-41:1 Afterward
he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the
one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the
breadth of the tabernacle.
26-41:2 And
the breadth of the door was ten
cubits: and the sides of the door were five
cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the
other side: and he measured the length thereof,
forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.
26-41:5 After
he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side
chamber, four cubits, round about the house on every side.
26-41:6 And
the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered
into the wall which was of the house
for the side chambers round about, that they might
have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house.
26-41:7 And
there was an enlarging, and a winding
about still upward to the side chambers: for the
winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore
the breadth of the house was still upward,
and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst.
26-41:8 I
saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers were
a full reed of six great cubits.
26-41:9 The
thickness of the wall, which was for
the side chamber without, was five cubits: and that which
was left was the place of the side chambers
that were within.
26-41:10 And
between the chambers was the wideness
of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.
26-41:11 And
the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another
door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.
26-41:15 And
he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and the galleries thereof
on the one side and on the other side, an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and
the porches of the court;
26-41:19 So
that the face of a man was toward the
palm tree on the one side, and the face of a
young lion toward the palm tree on the other side:
it was made through all the house
round about.
26-41:26 And
there were narrow windows and palm
trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side
chambers of the house, and thick planks.
26-42:9 And
from under these chambers was the
entry on the east side, as one goeth into them
from the utter court.
26-42:16 He
measured the east side with the measuring reed,
five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.
26-42:17 He
measured the north side, five hundred reeds,
with the measuring reed round about.
26-42:18 He
measured the south side, five hundred reeds,
with the measuring reed.
26-42:19 He
turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the
measuring reed.
26-45:7 And
a portion shall be for the prince on
the one side and on the other side of the oblation of the holy portion, and of the possession of the city, before the oblation of
the holy portion, and before the
possession of the city, from the west side
westward, and from the east side eastward: and
the length shall be over against one
of the portions, from the west border unto the east border.
26-46:19 After
he brought me through the entry, which was
at the side of the gate, into the holy
chambers of the priests, which looked toward the north: and, behold, there was a place on the two sides westward.
26-47:1 Afterward
he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out
from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters
came down from under from the right side of the
house, at the south side of the altar.
26-47:2 Then
brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way
without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold,
there ran out waters on the right side.
26-47:7 Now
when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side
and on the other.
26-47:12 And
by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side
and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat,
whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it
shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they
issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the
leaf thereof for medicine.
26-47:15 And
this shall be the border of the land
toward the north side, from the great sea, the
way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad;
26-47:17 And
the border from the sea shall be Hazarenan, the border of Damascus, and the
north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.
26-47:18 And
the east side ye shall measure from Hauran, and
from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel by Jordan, from the border unto the east
sea. And this is the east side.
26-47:19 And
the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great sea.
And this is the south side southward.
26-47:20 The
west side also shall be the great sea from the border, till a man come over
against Hamath. This is the west side.
26-48:2 And
by the border of Dan, from the east side unto
the west side, a portion for Asher.
26-48:3 And
by the border of Asher, from the east side even
unto the west side, a portion for Naphtali.
26-48:4 And
by the border of Naphtali, from the east side
unto the west side, a portion for Manasseh.
26-48:5 And
by the border of Manasseh, from the east side
unto the west side, a portion for Ephraim.
26-48:6 And
by the border of Ephraim, from the east side
even unto the west side, a portion for Reuben.
26-48:7 And
by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto
the west side, a portion for Judah.
26-48:8 And
by the border of Judah, from the east side unto
the west side, shall be the offering which ye
shall offer of five and twenty thousand reeds
in breadth, and in length as one
of the other parts, from the east side unto the west side:
and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.
26-48:16 And
these shall be the measures thereof;
the north side four thousand and five hundred,
and the south side four thousand and five
hundred, and on the east side four thousand and
five hundred, and the west side four thousand
and five hundred.
26-48:21 And
the residue shall be for the prince,
on the one side and on the other of the holy
oblation, and of the possession of the city, over against the five and twenty
thousand of the oblation toward the east border, and westward over against the
five and twenty thousand toward the west border, over against the portions for
the prince: and it shall be the holy oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.
26-48:23 As
for the rest of the tribes, from the east side
unto the west side, Benjamin shall have a portion.
26-48:24 And
by the border of Benjamin, from the east side
unto the west side, Simeon shall have a portion.
26-48:25 And
by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto
the west side, Issachar a portion.
26-48:26 And
by the border of Issachar, from the east side
unto the west side, Zebulun a portion.
26-48:27 And
by the border of Zebulun, from the east side
unto the west side, Gad a portion.
26-48:28 And
by the border of Gad, at the south side
southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh,
and to the river toward the great
sea.
26-48:30 And
these are the goings out of the city
on the north side, four thousand and five
hundred measures.
26-48:32 And
at the east side four thousand and five hundred:
and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan.
26-48:33 And
at the south side four thousand and five hundred
