of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day

and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;
01-15:18 In
the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram,
saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the
great river, the river Euphrates:
01-19:37 And
the firstborn bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the
Moabites unto this day.
01-19:38 And
the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Benammi: the same is the
father of the children of Ammon unto this day.
01-21:8 And
the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day
that Isaac was weaned.
01-23:2 And
Sarah died in Kirjatharba; the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan: and
Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.
01-23:19 And
after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah
before Mamre: the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan.
01-24:14 And
let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher,
I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy
camels drink also: let the same be she that
thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that
thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.
01-24:44 And
she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: let the same
be the woman whom the LORD hath
appointed out for my master’s son.
01-25:30 And
Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same
red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called
Edom.
01-26:12 Then
Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same
year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.
01-26:24 And
the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and
said, I am the God of Abraham thy
father: fear not, for I am with thee,
and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham’s sake.
01-26:32 And
it came to pass the same day, that Isaac’s servants
came, and told him concerning the well which they had digged, and said unto
him, We have found water.
01-32:13 And
he lodged there that same night; and took of
that which came to his hand a present for Esau his brother;
01-41:48 And
he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of
Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up
in the same.
01-44:6 And
he overtook them, and he spake unto them these same
words.
01-48:7 And

the way, when yet there was but a
little way to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way of Ephrath;
the same is
Bethlehem.
02-5:6 And
Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters
of the people, and their officers, saying,
02-12:6 And
ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same
month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in
the evening.
02-19:1 In
the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of
Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
02-25:31 And
thou shalt make a candlestick of pure
gold: of beaten work shall the
candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his
flowers, shall be of the same.
02-25:35 And
there shall be a knop under two
branches of the same, and a knop under two
branches of the same, and a knop under two
branches of the same, according to the six
branches that proceed out of the candlestick.
02-25:36 Their
knops and their branches shall be of the same:
all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.
02-27:2 And
thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall
be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with
brass.
02-28:8 And
the curious girdle of the ephod, which is
upon it, shall be of the same, according to
the work thereof; even of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and
fine twined linen.
02-30:2 A
cubit shall be the length thereof,
and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits shall be the height thereof: the horns
thereof shall be of the same.
02-37:17 And
he made the candlestick of pure gold:
of beaten work made he the
candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers,
were of the same:
02-37:21 And
a knop under two branches of the same, and a
knop under two branches of the same, and a knop
under two branches of the same, according to the
six branches going out of it.
02-37:22 Their
knops and their branches were of the same: all
of it was one beaten work of pure gold.
02-37:25 And
he made the incense altar of shittim
wood: the length of it was a cubit,
and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare;
and two cubits was the height of it;
the horns thereof were of the same.
02-38:2 And
he made the horns thereof on the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of
the same: and he overlaid it with brass.
02-39:5 And
the curious girdle of his ephod, that was
upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet,
and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.
03-7:15 And
the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be
eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall
not leave any of it until the morning.
03-7:16 But
if the sacrifice of his offering be a
vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same
day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it
shall be eaten:
03-19:6 It
shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on
the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the
fire.
03-22:30 On
the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave
none of it until the morrow: I am the
LORD.
03-23:6 And
on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto
the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
03-23:28 And
ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an
atonement for you before the LORD your God.
03-23:29 For
whatsoever soul it be that shall not
be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut
off from among his people.
03-23:30 And
whatsoever soul it be that doeth any
work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
04-4:8 And
they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put
in the staves thereof.
04-6:11 And
the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt
offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and
shall hallow his head that same day.
04-9:13 But
the man that is clean, and is not in
a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people:
because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that
man shall bear his sin.
04-10:32 And
it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD
shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.
04-15:30 But
the soul that doeth ought presumptuously,
whether he be born in the land, or a
stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and
that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
04-32:10 And
the LORD’S anger was kindled the same time, and
he sware, saying,
05-9:20 And
the LORD was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed him: and I prayed for
Aaron also the same time.
05-14:28 At
the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase
the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates:
05-27:11 And
Moses charged the people the same day, saying,
05-31:22 Moses
therefore wrote this song the same day, and taught
it the children of Israel.
06-6:15 And
it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of
the day, and compassed the city after the same
manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.
06-11:16 So
Joshua took all that land, the hills, and all the south country, and all the
land of Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the mountain of Israel, and
the valley of the same;
06-15:8 And
the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of
the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain
that lieth before the valley of
Hinnom westward, which is at the end
of the valley of the giants northward:
07-6:25 And
it came to pass the same night, that the LORD
said unto him, Take thy father’s young bullock, even the second bullock of
seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut
down the grove that is by it:
07-7:4 And
the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are
yet too many; bring them down
unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall
go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and
of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go.
07-7:9 And
it came to pass the same night, that the LORD
said unto him, Arise, get thee down unto the host; for I have delivered it into
thine hand.
09-4:12 And
there ran a man of Benjamin out of the army, and came to Shiloh the same day with his clothes rent, and with earth upon
his head.
09-6:15 And
the Levites took down the ark of the LORD, and the coffer that was with it, wherein the jewels of gold were, and put them on the great stone: and the men of Bethshemesh offered burnt
offerings and sacrificed sacrifices the same day
unto the LORD.
09-6:16 And
when the five lords of the Philistines had seen it, they returned to Ekron the same
day.
09-9:17 And
when Samuel saw Saul, the LORD said unto him, Behold the man whom I spake to
thee of! this same shall reign over my people.
09-10:12 And
one of the same place answered and said, But who
is their father? Therefore it became
a proverb, Is Saul also among the
prophets?
09-14:35 And
Saul built an altar unto the LORD: the same was
the first altar that he built unto the LORD.
09-17:23 And
as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of
Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake
according to the same words: and David heard them.
09-17:30 And
he turned from him toward another, and spake after the same
manner: and the people answered him again after the former manner.
09-31:6 So
Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together.
10-2:23 Howbeit
he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear
smote him under the fifth rib, that
the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died
stood still.
10-5:7 Nevertheless
David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David.
10-23:7 But
the man that shall touch them must be
fenced with iron and the staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned
with fire in the same
place.
10-23:8 These
be the names of the mighty men whom
David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the same was Adino
the Eznite: he lift up his spear against
eight hundred, whom he slew at one time.
11-7:35 And
in the top of the base was there a
round compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base the ledges
thereof and the borders thereof were of
the same.
11-8:64 The
same day did the king hallow the middle of the
court that was before the house of
the LORD for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat
of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that was before the LORD was too
little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the
peace offerings.
11-13:3 And
he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken;
Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.
11-13:9 For
so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink
water, nor turn again by the same way that thou
camest.
12-3:6 And
king Jehoram went out of Samaria the same time,
and numbered all Israel.
12-8:22 Yet
Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. Then Libnah revolted
at the same time.
12-19:29 And
this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye
shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year
that which springeth of the same; and in the
third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof.
12-19:33 By
the way that he came, by the same shall he
return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.
13-1:27 Abram;
the same is
Abraham.
13-4:33 And
all their villages that were round
about the same cities, unto Baal. These were their habitations, and their
genealogy.
13-16:17 And
hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
13-17:3 And
it came to pass the same night, that the word of
God came to Nathan, saying,
14-7:8 Also
at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven
days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in
of Hamath unto the river of Egypt.
14-13:9 Have
ye not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and
have made you priests after the manner of the nations of other lands? so that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a
young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them that are no gods.
14-15:11 And
they offered unto the LORD the same time, of the
spoil which they had brought, seven
hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.
14-16:10 Then
Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for he was in a rage with him because of
this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people the same time.
14-18:7 And
the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There
is yet one man, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he
never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same
is Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat
said, Let not the king say so.
14-20:26 And
on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for
there they blessed the LORD: therefore the name of the same
place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.
14-21:10 So
the Edomites revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. The same time also did
Libnah revolt from under his hand; because he had forsaken the LORD God of his
fathers.
14-27:5 He
fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the
children of Ammon gave him the same year an
hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand
of barley. So much did the children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second
year, and the third.
14-32:12 Hath
not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places
and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall worship
before one altar, and burn incense upon it?
14-32:30 This
same Hezekiah also stopped the upper watercourse
of Gihon, and brought it straight down to the west side of the city of David.
And Hezekiah prospered in all his works.
14-34:28 Behold,
I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in
peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this
place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So
they brought the king word again.
14-35:16 So
all the service of the LORD was prepared the same
day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of the
LORD, according to the commandment of king Josiah.
15-4:15 That
search may be made in the book of the records of thy fathers: so shalt thou
find in the book of the records, and know that this city is a rebellious city, and hurtful unto kings and provinces, and
that they have moved sedition within the same of
old time: for which cause was this city destroyed.
15-5:3 At
the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this
side the river, and Shetharboznai, and their companions, and said thus unto
them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?
15-5:13 But
in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon the same king Cyrus made a decree to
build this house of God.
15-5:16 Then
came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the foundation of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and since that time
even until now hath it been in building, and yet it is not finished.
15-6:3 In
the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at
Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices,
and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore
cubits, and the breadth thereof
threescore cubits;
15-10:23 Also
of the Levites; Jozabad, and Shimei, and Kelaiah, (the same
is Kelita,) Pethahiah, Judah, and
Eliezer.
16-4:22 Likewise
at the same time said I unto the people, Let
every one with his servant lodge within Jerusalem, that in the night they may
be a guard to us, and labour on the day.
16-6:4 Yet
they sent unto me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner.
16-10:37 And
that we should bring the firstfruits of
our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and
of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the
tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same
Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
17-9:1 Now
in the twelfth month, that is, the
month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same,
when the king’s commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in
the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it
was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)
17-9:17 On
the thirteenth day of the month Adar; and on the fourteenth day of the same rested they, and made it a day of feasting and
gladness.
17-9:18 But
the Jews that were at Shushan
assembled together on the thirteenth day thereof,
and on the fourteenth thereof; and on the fifteenth day of the same they rested, and
made it a day of feasting and gladness.
17-9:21 To
stablish this among them, that they
should keep the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly,
18-4:8 Even
as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.
18-13:2 What
ye know, the same
do I know also: I am not inferior
unto you.
19-68:23 That
thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine
enemies, and the tongue of thy
dogs in the same.
19-75:8 For
in the hand of the LORD there is a cup,
and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the
earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
19-102:27 But
thou art the same,
and thy years shall have no end.
19-105:10 And
confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
19-113:3 From
the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same
the Lord’s name is to be praised.
20-28:24 Whoso
robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.
21-9:15 Now
there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city;
yet no man remembered that same poor man.
23-7:20 In
the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor
that is hired, namely, by them beyond
the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it
shall also consume the beard.
23-20:2 At
the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of
Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy
shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
23-37:30 And
this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye
shall eat this year such as groweth
of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and
plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.
23-37:34 By
the way that he came, by the same shall he
return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.
24-27:8 And
it shall come to pass, that the
nation and kingdom which will not serve the same
Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the
yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with
the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed
them by his hand.
24-28:1 And
it came to pass the same year, in the beginning
of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the
prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake
unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the
people, saying,
24-28:17 So
Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the
seventh month.
24-31:1 At
the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God
of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
24-39:10 But
Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left of the poor of the people, which had
nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.
26-3:18 When
I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning,
nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall
die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
26-10:16 And
when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted
up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same
wheels also turned not from beside them.
26-10:22 And
the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of Chebar, their
appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.
26-21:26 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
26-23:38 Moreover
this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.
26-23:39 For
when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo,
thus have they done in the midst of mine house.
26-24:2 Son
of man, write thee the name of the day, even
of this same day: the king of Babylon set
himself against Jerusalem this same day.
26-38:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things
come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
26-38:18 And
it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog
shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
26-44:3 It is for the prince; the prince, he
shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the
porch of that gate, and shall go out
by the way of the same.
27-3:6 And
whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same
hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
27-3:15 Now
if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp,
sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and
worship the image which I have made; well:
but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same
hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
27-4:33 The
same hour was the thing fulfilled upon
Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his
body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.
27-4:36 At
the same time my reason returned unto me; and
for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and
my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my
kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.
27-5:5 In
the same hour came forth fingers of a man’s
hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of
the king’s palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.
27-5:12 Forasmuch
as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of
dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in
the same Daniel, whom the king named
Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.
27-7:21 I
beheld, and the same horn made war with the
saints, and prevailed against them;
27-12:1 And
at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the
children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was
since there was a nation even to that
same time: and at that time thy people shall be
delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
30-2:7 That
pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the
way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid,
to profane my holy name:
36-1:9 In
the same day also will I punish all those that
leap on the threshold, which fill their masters’ houses with violence and
deceit.
38-6:10 Take
of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of
Jedaiah, which are come from Babylon, and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;
39-1:11 For
from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall
be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a
pure offering: for my name shall be great
among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
40-3:4 And
the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair,
and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
40-5:19 Whosoever
therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so,
he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do
and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
40-5:46 For
if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans
the same?
40-10:19 But
when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it
shall be given you in that same hour what ye
shall speak.
40-12:50 For
whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by
the sea side.
40-13:20 But
he that received the seed into stony places, the same
is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same
coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is
grievously vexed with a devil.

the same time came the disciples unto Jesus,
saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

the same servant went out, and found one of his
fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and
took him by the throat, saying, Pay
me that thou owest.

saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the
builders rejected, the same is become the head
of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
40-22:23 The
same day came to him the Sadducees, which say
that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
40-24:13 But
he that shall endure unto the end, the same
shall be saved.
40-25:16 Then
he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them
other five talents.
40-26:23 And
he answered and said, He that dippeth his
hand with me in the dish, the same shall
betray me.
40-26:44 And
he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
40-26:48 Now
he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.
40-26:55 In
that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are
ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat
daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
40-27:44 The
thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same
in his teeth.
41-3:35 For
whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is
my brother, and my sister, and mother.
41-4:35 And
the same day, when the even was come, he saith
unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
41-8:35 For
whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life
for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall
save it.
41-9:35 And
he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to
be first, the same
shall be last of all, and servant of all.
41-10:10 And
in the house his disciples asked him again of the same
matter.
41-13:13 And
ye shall be hated of all men for my
name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
41-14:39 And
again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same
words.
41-14:44 And
he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss,
that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.
42-2:8 And
there were in the same country shepherds abiding
in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
42-2:25 And,
behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the
consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
42-6:33 And
if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners
also do even the same.
42-6:38 Give,
and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken
together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured
to you again.
42-7:21 And
in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of
evil spirits; and unto many that were blind
he gave sight.
42-7:47 Wherefore
I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much:
but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
42-9:24 For
whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life
for my sake, the same shall save it.
42-9:48 And
said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and
whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least
among you all, the same shall be great.
42-10:7 And
in the same house remain, eating and drinking
such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from
house to house.
42-10:10 But
into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into
the streets of the same, and say,
42-12:12 For
the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour
what ye ought to say.
42-13:31 The
same day there came certain of the Pharisees,
saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
42-16:1 And
he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a
steward; and the same was accused unto him that
he had wasted his goods.
42-17:29 But
the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it
rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
42-20:17 And
he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which
the builders rejected, the same is become the
head of the corner?
42-20:19 And
the chief priests and the scribes the same hour
sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that
he had spoken this parable against them.
42-20:47 Which
devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
42-23:12 And
the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together:
for before they were at enmity between themselves.
42-23:40 But
the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou
art in the same condemnation?
42-23:51 (The
same had not consented to the counsel and deed
of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a
city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.
42-24:13 And,
behold, two of them went that same day to a
village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
42-24:33 And
they rose up the same hour, and returned to
Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with
them,
43-1:2 The
same was in the beginning with God.
43-1:7 The
same came for a witness, to bear witness of the
Light, that all men through him might
believe.
43-1:33 And
I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit
descending, and remaining on him, the same is he
which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
43-3:2 The
same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him,
Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these
miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
43-3:26 And
they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan,
to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same
baptizeth, and all men come to him.
43-4:53 So
the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son
liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.
43-5:9 And
immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the
same day was the sabbath.
43-5:11 He
answered them, He that made me whole, the same
said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
43-5:36 But
I have greater witness than that of John:
for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the
Father hath sent me.
43-7:18 He
that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory
that sent him, the same is true, and no
unrighteousness is in him.
43-8:25 Then
said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that
I said unto you from the beginning.
43-10:1 Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold,
but climbeth up some other way, the same is a
thief and a robber.
43-11:6 When
he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
43-11:49 And
one of them, named Caiaphas, being
the high priest that same year, said unto them,
Ye know nothing at all,
43-12:21 The
same came therefore to Philip, which was of
Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
43-12:48 He
that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the
word that I have spoken, the same shall judge
him in the last day.
43-15:5 I
am the vine, ye are the branches: He
that abideth in me, and I in him, the same
bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
43-18:13 And
led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was
the high priest that same year.
43-20:19 Then
the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were
shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and
stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
44-1:11 Which
also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven,
shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
44-1:22 Beginning
from the baptism of John, unto that same day
that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of
his resurrection.
44-2:36 Therefore
let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and
Christ.
44-2:41 Then
they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
44-7:19 The
same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil
entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end
they might not live.
44-7:35 This
Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to
be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him
in the bush.
44-8:9 But
there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of
Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
44-8:35 Then
Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same
scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
44-12:6 And
when Herod would have brought him forth, the same
night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the
keepers before the door kept the prison.
44-13:33 God
hath fulfilled the same unto us their children,
in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second
psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
44-14:9 The
same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding
him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
44-15:27 We
have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.
44-16:17 The
same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying,
These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of
salvation.
44-16:18 And
this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit,
I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out
the same hour.
44-16:33 And
he took them the same hour of the night, and
washed their stripes; and was
baptized, he and all his, straightway.
44-18:3 And
because he was of the same craft, he abode with
them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.
44-19:23 And
the same time there arose no small stir about
that way.
44-21:9 And
the same man had four daughters, virgins, which
did prophesy.
44-22:13 Came
unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.
44-24:20 Or
else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood
before the council,
44-28:7 In
the same quarters were possessions of the chief
man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three
days courteously.
45-1:32 Who
knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of
death, not only do the same, but have pleasure
in them that do them.
45-2:1 Therefore
thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou
judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
45-2:3 And
thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest
the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of
God?
45-8:20 For
the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him
who hath subjected the same in hope,
45-9:17 For
the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same
purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my
name might be declared throughout all the earth.
45-9:21 Hath
not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump
to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
45-10:12 For
there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon
him.
45-12:4 For
as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
45-12:16 Be of the same
mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low
estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
45-13:3 For
rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be
afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
46-1:10 Now
I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all
speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
46-7:20 Let
every man abide in the same calling wherein he
was called.
46-8:3 But
if any man love God, the same is known of him.
46-9:8 Say
I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same
also?
46-10:3 And
did all eat the same spiritual meat;
46-10:4 And
did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they
drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
46-11:23 For
I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord
Jesus the same
night in which he was betrayed took bread:
46-11:25 After
the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new
testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
46-12:4 Now
there are diversities of gifts, but the same
Spirit.
46-12:5 And
there are differences of administrations, but the same
Lord.
46-12:6 And
there are diversities of operations, but it is the same
God which worketh all in all.
46-12:8 For
to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of
knowledge by the same Spirit;
46-12:9 To
another faith by the same Spirit; to another the
gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
46-12:25 That
there should be no schism in the body; but that
the members should have the same care one
for another.
46-15:39 All
flesh is not the same flesh: but there
is one kind of flesh of men,
another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and
another of birds.
47-1:6 And
whether we be afflicted, it is for
your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be
comforted, it is for your consolation
and salvation.
47-2:2 For
if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?
47-2:3 And
I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I
should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in
you all, that my joy is the joy of
you all.
47-3:14 But
their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old
testament; which vail is done away in
Christ.
47-3:18 But
we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are
changed into the same image from glory to glory,
even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
47-4:13 We
having the same spirit of faith, according as it
is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and
therefore speak;
47-6:13 Now
for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.
47-7:8 For
though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent:
for I perceive that the same epistle hath made
you sorry, though it were but for a
season.
47-8:6 Insomuch
that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the
same grace also.
47-8:16 But
thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you.
47-8:19 And
not that only, but who was also
chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered
by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind:
47-9:4 Lest
haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we
say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same
confident boasting.
47-9:5 Therefore
I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto
you, and make up before hand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that
the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of
covetousness.
47-12:18 I
desired Titus, and with him I sent a
brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked
we not in the same steps?
48-2:8 (For
he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision,
the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
48-2:10 Only
they would that we should remember
the poor; the same which I also was forward to
do.
48-3:7 Know
ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same
are the children of Abraham.
49-3:6 That
the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same
body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
49-4:10 He
that descended is the same also that ascended up
far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
49-6:8 Knowing
that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same
shall he receive of the Lord, whether he
be bond or free.
49-6:9 And,
ye masters, do the same things unto them,
forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is
there respect of persons with him.
49-6:22 Whom
I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that
ye might know our affairs, and that he
might comfort your hearts.
50-1:30 Having
the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now
hear to be in me.
50-2:2 Fulfil
ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same
love, being of one accord, of one
mind.
50-2:18 For
the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with
me.
50-3:1 Finally,
my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same
things to you, to me indeed is not
grievous, but for you it is safe.
50-3:16 Nevertheless,
whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same
rule, let us mind the same thing.
50-4:2 I
beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
51-4:2 Continue
in prayer, and watch in the same with
thanksgiving;
51-4:8 Whom
I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that
he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;
55-2:2 And
the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to
teach others also.
58-1:12 And
as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art
the same, and thy years shall not fail.
58-2:14 Forasmuch
then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise
took part of the same; that through death he
might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
58-4:11 Let
us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
58-6:11 And
we desire that every one of you do shew the same
diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
58-10:11 And
every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
58-11:9 By
faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob,
the heirs with him of the same promise:
58-13:8 Jesus
Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for
ever.
59-3:2 For
in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a
perfect man, and able also to bridle
the whole body.
59-3:10 Out
of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and
cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
59-3:11 Doth
a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
60-2:7 Unto
you therefore which believe he is precious:
but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed,
the same is made the head of the corner,
60-4:1 Forasmuch
then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with
the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the
flesh hath ceased from sin;
60-4:4 Wherein
they think it strange that ye run not with them
to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of
you:
60-4:10 As
every man hath received the gift, even so
minister the same one to another, as good
stewards of the manifold grace of God.
60-5:9 Whom
resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same
afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
61-2:19 While
they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for
of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he
brought in bondage.
61-3:7 But
the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same
word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and
perdition of ungodly men.
62-2:23 Whosoever
denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the
Father also.
62-2:27 But
the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not
that any man teach you: but as the same
anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as
it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
66-3:5 He
that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in
white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I
will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
66-11:13 And
the same hour was there a great earthquake, and
the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven
thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
66-14:10 The
same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of
God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and
he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy
angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
