01-GENESIS
01-22:16 And
said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD,
for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine
only son:
01-32:4 And
he commanded them, saying, Thus shall ye speak unto my lord Esau; Thy servant
Jacob saith thus, I have sojourned with Laban,
and stayed there until now:
01-41:55 And
when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread:
and Pharaoh said unto all the Egyptians, Go unto Joseph; what he saith to you, do.
01-44:7 And
they said unto him, Wherefore saith my lord
these words? God forbid that thy servants should do according to this thing:
01-45:9 Haste
ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, Thus saith
thy son Joseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto me, tarry
not:
02-4:22 And
thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the
LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:
02-5:1 And
afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that
they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
02-5:10 And
the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake to
the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will
not give you straw.
02-7:17 Thus
saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will smite with
the rod that is in mine hand upon the
waters which are in the river, and
they shall be turned to blood.
02-8:1 And
the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve
me.
02-8:20 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before
Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve
me.
02-9:1 Then
the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go,
that they may serve me.
02-9:13 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before
Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD
God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
02-10:3 And
Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou
refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.
02-11:4 And
Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight
will I go out into the midst of Egypt:
02-32:27 And
he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay
every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his
neighbour.
04-14:28 Say
unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so
will I do to you:
04-20:14 And
Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, Thus saith thy brother Israel, Thou knowest all the travail
that hath befallen us:
04-22:16 And
they came to Balaam, and said to him, Thus saith
Balak the son of Zippor, Let nothing, I pray thee, hinder thee from coming unto
me:
04-24:13 If
Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the
commandment of the LORD, to do either good
or bad of mine own mind; but what the
LORD saith, that will I speak?
04-32:27 But
thy servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the LORD to
battle, as my lord saith.
06-5:14 And
he said, Nay; but as captain of the
host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and
did worship, and said unto him, What saith my
lord unto his servant?
06-7:13 Up,
sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou
canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing
from among you.
06-22:16 Thus
saith the whole congregation of the LORD, What
trespass is this that ye have
committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following the
LORD, in that ye have builded you an altar, that ye might rebel this day
against the LORD?
06-24:2 And
Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the
LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old
time, even Terah, the father of
Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.
07-6:8 That
the LORD sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus
saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought you up
from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage;
07-11:15 And
said unto him, Thus saith Jephthah, Israel took
not away the land of Moab, nor the land of the children of Ammon:
09-2:27 And
there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of
thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house?
09-2:30 Wherefore
the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy
father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I
will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
09-9:6 And
he said unto him, Behold now, there is in
this city a man of God, and he is an
honourable man; all that he saith cometh surely
to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can shew us our way that we
should go.
09-10:18 And
said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the
LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of
the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, and of them that oppressed you:
09-15:2 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he
laid wait for him in the way, when he
came up from Egypt.
09-20:3 And
David sware moreover, and said, Thy father certainly knoweth that I have found
grace in thine eyes; and he saith, Let not
Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved: but truly as the LORD liveth, and as thy
soul liveth, there is but a step
between me and death.
09-24:13 As
saith the proverb of the ancients, Wickedness
proceedeth from the wicked: but mine hand shall not be upon thee.
10-7:5 Go
and tell my servant David, Thus saith the LORD,
Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in?
10-7:8 Now
therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from
following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel:
10-12:7 And
Nathan said to David, Thou art the
man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I
anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
10-12:11 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil
against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine
eyes, and give them unto thy
neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.
10-14:10 And
the king said, Whosoever saith ought unto thee, bring him to me, and he
shall not touch thee any more.
10-17:5 Then
said Absalom, Call now Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear likewise what
he saith.
10-24:12 Go
and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer
thee three things; choose thee one of
them, that I may do it unto thee.
11-2:30 And
Benaiah came to the tabernacle of the LORD, and said unto him, Thus saith the king, Come forth. And he said, Nay; but I
will die here. And Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, Thus said Joab,
and thus he answered me.
11-3:23 Then
said the king, The one saith, This is my son that liveth, and thy son is the dead: and the other saith, Nay; but thy son is the dead, and my son is the
living.
11-11:31 And
he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith
the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of
Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:
11-12:24 Thus
saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight
against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house;
for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD,
and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD.
11-13:2 And
he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar,
thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be
born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the
priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall
be burnt upon thee.
11-13:21 And
he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the
mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God
commanded thee,
11-14:7 Go,
tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince
over my people Israel,
11-17:14 For
thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of
meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the
earth.
11-20:2 And
he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said unto him,
Thus saith Benhadad,
11-20:13 And,
behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou seen all this great
multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt
know that I am the LORD.
11-20:14 And
Ahab said, By whom? And he said, Thus saith the
LORD, Even by the young men of the
princes of the provinces. Then he said, Who shall order the battle? And he
answered, Thou.
11-20:28 And
there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The
LORD is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will
I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
11-20:32 So
they girded sackcloth on their loins, and put
ropes on their heads, and came to the king of Israel, and said, Thy servant
Benhadad saith, I pray thee, let me live. And he
said, Is he yet alive? he is my brother.
11-20:42 And
he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Because
thou hast let go out of thy hand a
man whom I appointed to utter destruction, therefore thy life shall go for his
life, and thy people for his people.
11-21:19 And
thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith
the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak
unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place
where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.
11-22:11 And
Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the
Syrians, until thou have consumed them.
11-22:14 And
Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth,
what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.
11-22:27 And
say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with
bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.
12-1:4 Now
therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not
come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And
Elijah departed.
12-1:6 And
they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again
unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith
the LORD, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire of
Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on
which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.
12-1:16 And
he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch
as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou
shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely
die.
12-2:21 And
he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and
said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these
waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.
12-3:16 And
he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley
full of ditches.
12-3:17 For
thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind,
neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye
may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.
12-4:43 And
his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said
again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith
the LORD, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof.
12-5:13 And
his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not
have done it? how much rather then,
when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?
12-7:1 Then
Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith
the LORD, To morrow about this time shall
a measure of fine flour be sold for
a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.
12-9:3 Then
take the box of oil, and pour it on
his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have
anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.
12-9:6 And
he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said
unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I
have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.
12-9:12 And
they said, It is false; tell us now.
And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel.
12-9:18 So
there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace?
And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the
watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.
12-9:19 Then
he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is
it peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee
behind me.
12-9:26 Surely
I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him into the plat of ground, according to the word of the
LORD.
12-18:19 And
Rabshakeh said unto them, Speak ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What
confidence is this wherein thou
trustest?
12-18:29 Thus
saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you:
for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand:
12-18:31 Hearken
not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of
Assyria, Make an agreement with me by
a present, and come out to me, and then eat
ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every
one the waters of his cistern:
12-19:3 And
they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This
day is a day of trouble, and of
rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.
12-19:6 And
Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which thou
hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
12-19:20 Then
Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith
the LORD God of Israel, That which
thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.
12-19:32 Therefore
thus saith the LORD concerning the king of
Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come
before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it.
12-19:33 By
the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this
city, saith the LORD.
12-20:1 In
those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz
came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the
LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
12-20:5 Turn
again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy
prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou
shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.
12-20:17 Behold,
the days come, that all that is in
thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day,
shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith
the LORD.
12-21:12 Therefore
thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it,
both his ears shall tingle.
12-22:15 And
she said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, Tell the man that sent you to me,
12-22:16 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon
this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:
12-22:18 But
to the king of Judah which sent you to enquire of the LORD, thus shall ye say
to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, As touching the words which thou hast
heard;
12-22:19 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the LORD, when
thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof,
that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes,
and wept before me; I also have heard thee,
saith the LORD.
13-17:4 Go
and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD,
Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in:
13-17:7 Now
therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the
sheepcote, even from following the
sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel:
13-21:10 Go
and tell David, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I
offer thee three things: choose thee
one of them, that I may do it unto
thee.
13-21:11 So
Gad came to David, and said unto him, Thus saith
the LORD, Choose thee
14-11:4 Thus
saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight
against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of
me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against
Jeroboam.
14-12:5 Then
came Shemaiah the prophet to Rehoboam, and to
the princes of Judah, that were gathered together to Jerusalem because of
Shishak, and said unto them, Thus saith the
LORD, Ye have forsaken me, and therefore have I also left you in the hand of
Shishak.
14-18:10 And
Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith the LORD, With these thou shalt push Syria until
they be consumed.
14-18:13 And
Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth,
even what my God saith, that will I speak.
14-18:26 And
say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with
bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace.
14-20:15 And
he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king
Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be
not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
14-21:12 And
there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of David thy father, Because thou
hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy father, nor in the ways of Asa
king of Judah,
14-24:20 And
the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which
stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith
God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper?
because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken you.
14-32:10 Thus
saith Sennacherib king of Assyria, Whereon do ye
trust, that ye abide in the siege in Jerusalem?
14-34:23 And
she answered them, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, Tell ye the man that sent you to me,
14-34:24 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon
this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have
read before the king of Judah:
14-34:26 And
as for the king of Judah, who sent you to enquire of the LORD, so shall ye say
unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel concerning the words which thou hast
heard;
14-34:27 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou
heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and
humbledst thyself before me, and didst rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I
have even heard thee also, saith the LORD.
14-36:23 Thus
saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of
the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build
him an house in Jerusalem, which is in
Judah. Who is there among you of all
his people? The LORD his God be with
him, and let him go up.
15-1:2 Thus
saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of
heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to
build him an house at Jerusalem, which is
in Judah.
16-6:6 Wherein
was written, It is reported among the
heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou
buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these words.
18-28:14 The
depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.
18-33:24 Then
he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him
from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
18-35:10 But
none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
18-37:6 For
he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small
rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
18-39:25 He
saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he
smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
19-12:5 For
the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth
at him.
19-36:1 The
transgression of the wicked saith within my
heart, that there is no fear of God
before his eyes.
19-50:16 But
unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do
to declare my statutes, or that thou
shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
20-9:4 Whoso
is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding,
she saith to him,
20-9:16 Whoso
is simple, let him turn in hither:
and as for him that wanteth
understanding, she saith to him,
20-20:14 It is naught, it is naught, saith the buyer: but
when he is gone his way, then he boasteth.
20-22:13 The
slothful man saith,
There is a lion without, I shall be
slain in the streets.
20-23:7 For
as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:
Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
20-24:24 He
that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people
curse, nations shall abhor him:
20-26:13 The
slothful man saith,
There is a lion in the way; a lion is in the streets.
20-26:19 So
is the man that deceiveth his neighbour, and saith,
Am not I in sport?
20-28:24 Whoso
robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.
20-30:16 The
grave; and the barren womb; the earth that
is not filled with water; and the fire that
saith not, It is enough.
20-30:20 Such
is the way of an adulterous woman;
she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I
have done no wickedness.
21-1:2 Vanity
of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of
vanities; all is vanity.
21-4:8 There
is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither
child nor brother: yet is there no
end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For
whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a
sore travail.
21-7:27 Behold,
this have I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the
account:
21-10:3 Yea
also, when he that is a fool walketh by the way, his wisdom faileth him, and he saith
to every one that he is a fool.
21-12:8 Vanity
of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.
23-1:11 To
what purpose is the multitude of your
sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of
the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in
the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
23-1:18 Come
now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:
though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be
red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
23-1:24 Therefore
saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty
One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine
enemies:
23-3:15 What
mean ye that ye beat my people to
pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith
the Lord GOD of hosts.
23-3:16 Moreover
the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion
are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and
mincing as they go, and making a
tinkling with their feet:
23-7:7 Thus
saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither
shall it come to pass.
23-10:8 For
he saith, Are
not my princes altogether kings?
23-10:13 For
he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done
it, and by my wisdom; for I am
prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their
treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man:
23-10:24 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people
that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with
a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
23-14:22 For
I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of
hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD.
23-14:23 I
will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will
sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith
the LORD of hosts.
23-17:3 The
fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the
remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts.
23-17:6 Yet
gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the
uppermost bough, four or five in the
outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the
LORD God of Israel.
23-19:4 And
the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king
shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD
of hosts.
23-22:14 And
it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall
not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord
GOD of hosts.
23-22:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto
this treasurer, even unto Shebna,
which is over the house, and say,
23-22:25 In
that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the
nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall;
and the burden that was upon it shall
be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
23-28:16 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion
for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
23-29:11 And
the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed,
which men deliver to one that is
learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith,
I cannot; for it is sealed:
23-29:12 And
the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray
thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
23-29:22 Therefore
thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham,
concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall
his face now wax pale.
23-30:1 Woe
to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that
take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my
spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
23-30:12 Wherefore
thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye
despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
23-30:15 For
thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel;
In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be
your strength: and ye would not.
23-31:9 And
he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid
of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in
Jerusalem.
23-33:10 Now
will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be
exalted; now will I lift up myself.
23-36:4 And
Rabshakeh said unto them, Say ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith
the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?
23-36:14 Thus
saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you:
for he shall not be able to deliver you.
23-36:16 Hearken
not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of
Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me: and
eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every
one the waters of his own cistern;
23-37:3 And
they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This
day is a day of trouble, and of
rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.
23-37:6 And
Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou
hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
23-37:21 Then
Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me
against Sennacherib king of Assyria:
23-37:33 Therefore
thus saith the LORD concerning the king of
Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come
before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.
23-37:34 By
the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this
city, saith the LORD.
23-38:1 In
those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz
came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the
LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.
23-38:5 Go,
and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God
of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I
will add unto thy days fifteen years.
23-39:6 Behold,
the days come, that all that is in
thine house, and that which thy
fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon:
nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
23-40:1 Comfort
ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
23-40:25 To
whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith
the Holy One.
23-41:14 Fear
not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of
Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and
thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
23-41:21 Produce
your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your
strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.
23-42:5 Thus
saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens,
and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh
out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them
that walk therein:
23-42:22 But
this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes,
and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth;
for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
23-43:1 But
now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O
Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I
have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
23-43:10 Ye
are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen:
that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after
me.
23-43:12 I
have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among
you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
23-43:14 Thus
saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of
Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their
nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in
the ships.
23-43:16 Thus
saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea,
and a path in the mighty waters;
23-44:2 Thus
saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee
from the womb, which will help thee;
Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
23-44:6 Thus
saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his
redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the
first, and I am the last; and beside
me there is no God.
23-44:16 He
burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he
roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm,
I have seen the fire:
23-44:17 And
the residue thereof he maketh a god, even
his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
23-44:24 Thus
saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed
thee from the womb, I am the LORD
that maketh all things; that
stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
23-44:26 That
confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his
messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt
be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise
up the decayed places thereof:
23-44:27 That
saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy
rivers:
23-44:28 That
saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to
Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be
laid.
23-45:1 Thus
saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose
right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the
loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall
not be shut;
23-45:10 Woe
unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou
brought forth?
23-45:11 Thus
saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his
Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of
my hands command ye me.
23-45:13 I
have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall
build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
23-45:14 Thus
saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and
merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over
unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they
shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make
supplication unto thee, saying, Surely
God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.
23-45:18 For
thus saith the LORD that created the heavens;
God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he
created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none
else.
23-48:17 Thus
saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of
Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth
thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
23-48:22 There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.
23-49:5 And
now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb
to be his servant, to bring Jacob
again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the
eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.
23-49:7 Thus
saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man
despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings
shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is
faithful, and the Holy One of Israel,
and he shall choose thee.
23-49:8 Thus
saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I
heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve
thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to
cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
23-49:18 Lift
up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the LORD, thou
shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.
23-49:22 Thus
saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand
to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy
sons in their arms, and thy daughters
shall be carried upon their shoulders.
23-49:25 But
thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the
mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered:
for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy
children.
23-50:1 Thus
saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have put away? or
which of my creditors is it to whom I
have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for
your transgressions is your mother put away.
23-51:22 Thus
saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people,
Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury;
thou shalt no more drink it again:
23-52:3 For
thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for
nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.
23-52:4 For
thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down
aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without
cause.
23-52:5 Now
therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD,
that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to
howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually
every day is blasphemed.
23-52:7 How
beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings,
that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth
salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God
reigneth!
23-54:1 Sing,
O barren, thou that didst not bear;
break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married
wife, saith the LORD.
23-54:6 For
the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife
of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
23-54:8 In
a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting
kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the
LORD thy Redeemer.
23-54:10 For
the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not
depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
23-54:17 No
weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment
thou shalt condemn. This is the
heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith
the LORD.
23-55:8 For
my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
23-56:1 Thus
saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do
justice: for my salvation is near to
come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
23-56:4 For
thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep
my sabbaths, and choose the things that
please me, and take hold of my covenant;
23-56:8 The
Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith,
Yet will I gather others to him,
beside those that are gathered unto him.
23-57:15 For
thus saith the high and lofty One that
inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place, with
him also that is of a contrite and
humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of
the contrite ones.
23-57:19 I
create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him
that is near, saith the LORD; and I will
heal him.
23-57:21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
23-59:20 And
the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in
Jacob, saith the LORD.
23-59:21 As
for me, this is my covenant with
them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put
in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy
seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith
the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.
23-65:7 Your
iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the
mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their
former work into their bosom.
23-65:8 Thus
saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the
cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’
sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
23-65:13 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants
shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye
shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
23-65:25 The
wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the
bullock: and dust shall be the
serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
23-66:1 Thus
saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is
my footstool: where is the house
that ye build unto me? and where is the
place of my rest?
23-66:2 For
all those things hath mine hand made,
and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite
spirit, and trembleth at my word.
23-66:9 Shall
I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith
the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
23-66:12 For
thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace
to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then
shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her
sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
23-66:17 They
that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh,
and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
23-66:20 And
they shall bring all your brethren for an
offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in
litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an
offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
23-66:21 And
I will also take of them for priests and for
Levites, saith the LORD.
23-66:22 For
as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before
me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your
name remain.
23-66:23 And
it shall come to pass, that from one
new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to
worship before me, saith the LORD.
24-1:8 Be
not afraid of their faces: for I am with
thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
24-1:15 For,
lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall
set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against
all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
24-1:19 And
they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith
the LORD, to deliver thee.
24-2:2 Go
and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith
the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine
espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.
24-2:3 Israel
was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all
that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.
24-2:5 Thus
saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers
found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and
are become vain?
24-2:9 Wherefore
I will yet plead with you, saith the LORD, and
with your children’s children will I plead.
24-2:12 Be
astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate,
saith the LORD.
24-2:19 Thine
own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee:
know therefore and see that it is an
evil thing and bitter, that thou hast
forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is
not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
24-2:22 For
though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much sope, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith
the Lord GOD.
24-2:29 Wherefore
will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the LORD.
24-3:1 They
say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s,
shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but
thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.
24-3:10 And
yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her
whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.
24-3:12 Go
and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding
Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith
the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.
24-3:13 Only
acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy
God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and
ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.
24-3:14 Turn,
O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am
married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I
will bring you to Zion:
24-3:16 And
it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in
those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no
more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind:
neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be
done any more.
24-3:20 Surely
as a wife treacherously departeth
from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD.
24-4:1 If
thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD,
return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight,
then shalt thou not remove.
24-4:3 For
thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and
Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.
24-4:9 And
it shall come to pass at that day, saith the
LORD, that the heart of the king
shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be
astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.
24-4:17 As
keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she hath been
rebellious against me, saith the LORD.
24-5:9 Shall
I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on
such a nation as this?
24-5:11 For
the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously
against me, saith the LORD.
24-5:14 Wherefore
thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye
speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this
people wood, and it shall devour them.
24-5:15 Lo,
I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it is
a mighty nation, it is an ancient
nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what
they say.
24-5:18 Nevertheless
in those days, saith the LORD, I will not make a
full end with you.
24-5:22 Fear
ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble
at my presence, which have placed the sand for
the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and
though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they
roar, yet can they not pass over it?
24-5:29 Shall
I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a
nation as this?
24-6:9 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, They shall throughly
glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine hand as a grapegatherer
into the baskets.
24-6:12 And
their houses shall be turned unto others, with
their fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the
inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD.
24-6:15 Were
they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all
ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that
fall: at the time that I visit them
they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
24-6:16 Thus
saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and
ask for the old paths, where is the
good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they
said, We will not walk therein.
24-6:21 Therefore
thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay
stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall
fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.
24-6:22 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, a people cometh from the
north country, and a great nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth.
24-7:3 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel,
Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
24-7:11 Is
this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes?
Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.
24-7:13 And
now, because ye have done all these works, saith
the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not;
and I called you, but ye answered not;
24-7:19 Do
they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?
24-7:20 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and
my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon
the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn,
and shall not be quenched.
24-7:21 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put
your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.
24-7:30 For
the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith
the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my
name, to pollute it.
24-7:32 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it
shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the
valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.
24-8:1 At
that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out
the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of
the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, out of their graves:
24-8:3 And
death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain
of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them,
saith the LORD of hosts.
24-8:4 Moreover
thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD;
Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?
24-8:12 Were
they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all
ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that
fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
24-8:13 I
will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there shall be no grapes on the vine,
nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.
24-8:17 For,
behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, saith
the LORD.
24-9:3 And
they bend their tongues like their
bow for lies: but they are not
valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and
they know not me, saith the LORD.
24-9:6 Thine
habitation is in the midst of deceit;
through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the
LORD.
24-9:7 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will
melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?
24-9:9 Shall
I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a
nation as this?
24-9:13 And
the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my
law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked
therein;
24-9:15 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Behold, I will feed them, even this
people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.
24-9:17 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call
for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come:
24-9:22 Speak,
Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men shall
fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and
none shall gather them.
24-9:23 Thus
saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the
mighty man glory in his might, let
not the rich man glory in his riches:
24-9:24 But
let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that
I am the LORD which exercise
lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
24-9:25 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will
punish all them which are circumcised
with the uncircumcised;
24-10:2 Thus
saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the
heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are
dismayed at them.
24-10:18 For
thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out
the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may
find it so.
24-11:3 And
say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth
not the words of this covenant,
24-11:11 Therefore
thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil
upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry
unto me, I will not hearken unto them.
24-11:21 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of the men of Anathoth, that
seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that thou die not
by our hand:
24-11:22 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will
punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their
daughters shall die by famine:
24-12:14 Thus
saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours,
that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit;
Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah
from among them.
24-12:17 But
if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD.
24-13:1 Thus
saith the LORD unto me, Go and get thee a linen
girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water.
24-13:9 Thus
saith the LORD, After this manner will I mar the
pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
24-13:11 For
as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave unto
me the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, saith the LORD; that they might be unto me for a
people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not
hear.
24-13:12 Therefore
thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith
the LORD God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall
say unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with
wine?
24-13:13 Then
shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD,
Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit
upon David’s throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants
of Jerusalem, with drunkenness.
24-13:14 And
I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have
mercy, but destroy them.
24-13:25 This
is thy lot, the portion of thy
measures from me, saith the LORD; because thou
hast forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood.
24-14:10 Thus
saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved
to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not
accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.
24-14:15 Therefore
thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that
prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall
not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.
24-15:2 And
it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then
thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such
as are for death, to death; and such
as are for the sword, to the sword;
and such as are for the famine, to
the famine; and such as are for the
captivity, to the captivity.
24-15:3 And
I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the
LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and
the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.
24-15:6 Thou
hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone
backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee;
I am weary with repenting.
24-15:9 She
that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone
down while it was yet day: she hath
been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the
sword before their enemies, saith the LORD.
24-15:19 Therefore
thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I
bring thee again, and thou shalt
stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt
be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.
24-15:20 And
I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight
against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver
thee, saith the LORD.
24-16:3 For
thus saith the LORD concerning the sons and
concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their
mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this
land;
24-16:5 For
thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of
mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace
from this people, saith the LORD, even lovingkindness and mercies.
24-16:9 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days,
the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and
the voice of the bride.
24-16:11 Then
shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and
have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not
kept my law;
24-16:14 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it
shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel
out of the land of Egypt;
24-16:16 Behold,
I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD,
and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they
shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes
of the rocks.
24-17:5 Thus
saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and
whose heart departeth from the LORD.
24-17:21 Thus
saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear
no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it
in by the gates of Jerusalem;
24-17:24 And
it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the
gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no
work therein;
24-18:6 O
house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith
the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in
the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine
hand, O house of Israel.
24-18:11 Now
therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold,
I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every
one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
24-18:13 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Ask ye now among the
heathen, who hath heard such things: the virgin of Israel hath done a very
horrible thing.
24-19:1 Thus
saith the LORD, Go and get a potter’s earthen
bottle, and take of the ancients of
the people, and of the ancients of the priests;
24-19:3 And
say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of
Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God
of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever
heareth, his ears shall tingle.
24-19:6 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that this
place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but
The valley of slaughter.
24-19:11 And
shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of
hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter’s vessel, that cannot be made whole again:
and they shall bury them in Tophet,
till there be no place to bury.
24-19:12 Thus
will I do unto this place, saith the LORD, and
to the inhabitants thereof, and even make
this city as Tophet:
24-19:15 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I
have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they
might not hear my words.
24-20:4 For
thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will make thee a
terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of
their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it:
and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he
shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.
24-21:4 Thus
saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will
turn back the weapons of war that are in
your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you
without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.
24-21:7 And
afterward, saith the LORD, I will deliver
Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and such as are left
in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the
hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and
into the hand of those that seek their life: and he shall smite them with the
edge of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have mercy.
24-21:8 And
unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith the
LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.
24-21:10 For
I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, saith the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the
king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.
24-21:12 O
house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute
judgment in the morning, and deliver him
that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like
fire, and burn that none can quench it, because
of the evil of your doings.
24-21:13 Behold,
I am against thee, O inhabitant of
the valley, and rock of the plain, saith the LORD; which say, Who shall come down against
us? or who shall enter into our habitations?
24-21:14 But
I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, saith the LORD: and I will kindle a fire in the forest
thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it.
24-22:1 Thus
saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king
of Judah, and speak there this word,
24-22:3 Thus
saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and
righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do
no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow,
neither shed innocent blood in this place.
24-22:5 But
if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith
the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.
24-22:6 For
thus saith the LORD unto the king’s house of
Judah; Thou art Gilead unto me, and the head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make thee a
wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.
24-22:11 For
thus saith the LORD touching Shallum the son of
Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went
forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more:
24-22:14 That
saith, I will build me a wide house and large
chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and it
is cieled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.
24-22:16 He
judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not
this to know me? saith the LORD.
24-22:18 Therefore
thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son
of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for
him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his
glory!
24-22:24 As I live, saith
the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon
my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence;
24-22:30 Thus
saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a
man that shall not prosper in his
days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David,
and ruling any more in Judah.
24-23:1 Woe
be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
24-23:2 Therefore
thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the
pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away,
and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your
doings, saith the LORD.
24-23:4 And
I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no
more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith
the LORD.
24-23:5 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise
unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall
execute judgment and justice in the earth.
24-23:7 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they
shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out
of the land of Egypt;
24-23:11 For
both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their
wickedness, saith the LORD.
24-23:12 Wherefore
their way shall be unto them as slippery ways
in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will
bring evil upon them, even the year
of their visitation, saith the LORD.
24-23:15 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the
prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water
of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all
the land.
24-23:16 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the
words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a
vision of their own heart, and not
out of the mouth of the LORD.
24-23:23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
24-23:24 Can
any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
24-23:28 The
prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let
him speak my word faithfully. What is the
chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
24-23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
24-23:30 Therefore,
behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his
neighbour.
24-23:31 Behold,
I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
24-23:32 Behold,
I am against them that prophesy false
dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and
cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them
not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
24-23:33 And
when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt
then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.
24-23:38 But
since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith
the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent
unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD;
24-24:5 Thus
saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these
good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah,
whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
24-24:8 And
as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of
Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land,
and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:
24-25:7 Yet
ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the LORD;
that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own
hurt.
24-25:8 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts; Because ye have
not heard my words,
24-25:9 Behold,
I will send and take all the families of the north, saith
the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring
them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all
these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an
astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.
24-25:12 And
it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon,
and that nation, saith the LORD, for their
iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual
desolations.
24-25:15 For
thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take
the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send
thee, to drink it.
24-25:27 Therefore
thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of
hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and
rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.
24-25:28 And
it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt
thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of
hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.
24-25:29 For,
lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye
be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon
all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD
of hosts.
24-25:31 A
noise shall come even to the ends of
the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with
all flesh; he will give them that are wicked
to the sword, saith the LORD.
24-25:32 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go
forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the
coasts of the earth.
24-26:2 Thus
saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD’S
house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the
LORD’S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish
not a word:
24-26:4 And
thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD;
If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,
24-26:18 Micah
the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to
all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the
LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed like a
field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the
high places of a forest.
24-27:2 Thus
saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes,
and put them upon thy neck,
24-27:4 And
command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith
the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;
24-27:8 And
it shall come to pass, that the
nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of
Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of
Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the
LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I
have consumed them by his hand.
24-27:11 But
the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve
him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith
the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
24-27:15 For
I have not sent them, saith the LORD, yet they
prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish,
ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.
24-27:16 Also
I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your
prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD’S
house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie
unto you.
24-27:19 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the
pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the
residue of the vessels that remain in this city,
24-27:21 Yea,
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel,
concerning the vessels that remain in the
house of the LORD, and in the house
of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;
24-27:22 They
shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit
them, saith the LORD; then will I bring them up,
and restore them to this place.
24-28:4 And
I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah,
with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
24-28:11 And
Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of
two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
24-28:13 Go
and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD;
Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.
24-28:14 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may
serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have
given him the beasts of the field also.
24-28:16 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee
from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast
taught rebellion against the LORD.
24-29:4 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto
all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from
Jerusalem unto Babylon;
24-29:8 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams
which ye cause to be dreamed.
24-29:9 For
they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.
24-29:10 For
thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be
accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you,
in causing you to return to this place.
24-29:11 For
I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith
the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
24-29:14 And
I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I
will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and
from all the places whither I have driven you, saith
the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be
carried away captive.
24-29:16 Know that thus saith
the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and of all the
people that dwelleth in this city, and of
your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity;
24-29:17 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send
upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like
vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
24-29:19 Because
they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD,
which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending
them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD.
24-29:21 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of
Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, which prophesy a
lie unto you in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes;
24-29:23 Because
they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours’
wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them;
even I know, and am a witness, saith the LORD.
24-29:31 Send
to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith
the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath
prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie:
24-29:32 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will punish
Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among
this people; neither shall he behold the good that I will do for my people, saith the LORD; because he hath taught rebellion
against the LORD.
24-30:3 For,
lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will
bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the
land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
24-30:5 For
thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of
trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
24-30:8 For
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the
LORD of hosts, that I will break his
yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more
serve themselves of him:
24-30:10 Therefore
fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the
LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and
thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be
in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him
afraid.
24-30:11 For
I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end
of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of
thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether
unpunished.
24-30:12 For
thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous.
24-30:17 For
I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
24-30:18 Thus
saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the
captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city
shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the
manner thereof.
24-30:21 And
their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the
midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto
me: for who is this that engaged his
heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.
24-31:1 At
the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God
of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
24-31:2 Thus
saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to
rest.
24-31:7 For
thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for
Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and
say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.
24-31:14 And
I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied
with my goodness, saith the LORD.
24-31:15 Thus
saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah,
lamentation, and bitter weeping;
Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children,
because they were not.
24-31:16 Thus
saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping,
and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the
land of the enemy.
24-31:17 And
there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that
thy children shall come again to their own border.
24-31:20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I
spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are
troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith
the LORD.
24-31:23 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As
yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof,
when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of
justice, and mountain of holiness.
24-31:27 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow
the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the
seed of beast.
24-31:28 And
it shall come to pass, that like as I
have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and
to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.
24-31:31 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make
a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
24-31:32 Not
according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring
them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an
husband unto them, saith the LORD:
24-31:33 But
this shall be the covenant that I
will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith
the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their
hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
24-31:34 And
they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother,
saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto
the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will
forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
24-31:35 Thus
saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light
by day, and the ordinances of the
moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the
waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his
name:
24-31:36 If
those ordinances depart from before me, saith
the LORD, then the seed of Israel
also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
24-31:37 Thus
saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured,
and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all
the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith
the LORD.
24-31:38 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that the city
shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the
corner.
24-32:3 For
Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy,
and say, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will
give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;
24-32:5 And
he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, saith the LORD: though ye fight with the Chaldeans, ye
shall not prosper.
24-32:14 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take
these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this
evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may
continue many days.
24-32:15 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.
24-32:28 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this
city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king
of Babylon, and he shall take it:
24-32:30 For
the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done evil before me
from their youth: for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger
with the work of their hands, saith the LORD.
24-32:36 And
now therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of
Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the
hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the
pestilence;
24-32:42 For
thus saith the LORD; Like as I have brought all
this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I
have promised them.
24-32:44 Men
shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of
Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in
the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities
of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, saith the LORD.
24-33:2 Thus
saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that
formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his
name;
24-33:4 For
thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel,
concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of
Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
24-33:10 Thus
saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in
this place, which ye say shall be desolate
without man and without beast, even in
the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate,
without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
24-33:11 The
voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the
voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts:
for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house
of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the
first, saith the LORD.
24-33:12 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place,
which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof,
shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their
flocks to lie down.
24-33:13 In
the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of
the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and
in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that
telleth them, saith the LORD.
24-33:14 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will
perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to
the house of Judah.
24-33:17 For
thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a
man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
24-33:20 Thus
saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of
the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and
night in their season;
24-33:25 Thus
saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the
ordinances of heaven and earth;
24-34:2 Thus
saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak
to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith
the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and
he shall burn it with fire:
24-34:4 Yet
hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of thee, Thou shalt not die by the
sword:
24-34:5 But thou shalt die in peace: and with
the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall
they burn odours for thee; and they
will lament thee, saying, Ah lord!
for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.
24-34:13 Thus
saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a
covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land
of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,
24-34:17 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto
me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour:
behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the
LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you
to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
24-34:22 Behold,
I will command, saith the LORD, and cause them
to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn
it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an
inhabitant.
24-35:13 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go
and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive
instruction to hearken to my words? saith the
LORD.
24-35:17 Therefore
thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of
Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of
Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have
spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but
they have not answered.
24-35:18 And
Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith
the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of
Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all
that he hath commanded you:
24-35:19 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.
24-36:29 And
thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith
the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein,
saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and
shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?
24-36:30 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah;
He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be
cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.
24-37:7 Thus
saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye
say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold,
Pharaoh’s army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into
their own land.
24-37:9 Thus
saith the LORD; Deceive not yourselves, saying,
The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart.
24-38:2 Thus
saith the LORD, He that remaineth in this city
shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth
forth to the Chaldeans shall live; for he shall have his life for a prey, and
shall live.
24-38:3 Thus
saith the LORD, This city shall surely be given
into the hand of the king of Babylon’s army, which shall take it.
24-38:17 Then
said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the
LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If thou wilt assuredly go forth unto
the king of Babylon’s princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall
not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thine house:
24-39:16 Go
and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith
the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring my words upon this
city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished in that day before thee.
24-39:17 But
I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD:
and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid.
24-39:18 For
I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall
be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the LORD.
24-42:9 And
said unto them, Thus saith the LORD, the God of
Israel, unto whom ye sent me to present your supplication before him;
24-42:11 Be
not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him,
saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.
24-42:15 And
now therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye remnant of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; If ye
wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there;
24-42:18 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of
Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into
Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a
reproach; and ye shall see this place no more.
24-43:10 And
say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the
God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon,
my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he
shall spread his royal pavilion over them.
24-44:2 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye
have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the
cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are
a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein,
24-44:7 Therefore
now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the
God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye this great
evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling,
out of Judah, to leave you none to remain;
24-44:11 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah.
24-44:25 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel,
saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with
your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn
incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye
will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.
24-44:26 Therefore
hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt;
Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the
LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in
all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth.
24-44:29 And
this shall be a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place,
that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:
24-44:30 Thus
saith the LORD; Behold, I will give
Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of
them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life.
24-45:2 Thus
saith the LORD, the God of Israel, unto thee, O
Baruch;
24-45:4 Thus
shalt thou say unto him, The LORD saith thus;
Behold, that which I have built will
I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole
land.
24-45:5 And
seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them
not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in
all places whither thou goest.
24-46:5 Wherefore
have I seen them dismayed and turned
away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look
not back: for fear was round about, saith the LORD.
24-46:8 Egypt
riseth up like a flood, and his waters
are moved like the rivers; and he saith, I will
go up, and will cover the earth; I
will destroy the city and the inhabitants thereof.
24-46:18 As I live, saith
the King, whose name is the LORD of
hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the
mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall
he come.
24-46:23 They
shall cut down her forest, saith the LORD,
though it cannot be searched; because they are more than the grasshoppers, and are innumerable.
24-46:25 The
LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold,
I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and
their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them
that trust in him:
24-46:26 And
I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the
hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and
afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith the LORD.
24-46:28 Fear
thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD:
for I am with thee; for I will make a
full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a
full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly
unpunished.
24-47:2 Thus
saith the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the
north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all
that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry,
and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl.
24-48:1 Against
Moab thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel; Woe unto Nebo! for it is spoiled: Kiriathaim is confounded and taken: Misgab is confounded and
dismayed.
24-48:12 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I
will send unto him wanderers, that shall cause him to wander, and shall empty
his vessels, and break their bottles.
24-48:15 Moab
is spoiled, and gone up out of her
cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.
24-48:25 The
horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, saith
the LORD.
24-48:30 I
know his wrath, saith the LORD; but it shall not be so; his lies shall not so effect it.
24-48:35 Moreover
I will cause to cease in Moab, saith the LORD,
him that offereth in the high places, and him that burneth incense to his gods.
24-48:38 There shall be lamentation generally
upon all the housetops of Moab, and in the streets thereof: for I have broken
Moab like a vessel wherein is no
pleasure, saith the LORD.
24-48:40 For
thus saith the LORD; Behold, he shall fly as an
eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab.
24-48:43 Fear,
and the pit, and the snare, shall be upon
thee, O inhabitant of Moab, saith the LORD.
24-48:44 He
that fleeth from the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that getteth up out
of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring upon it, even upon Moab, the year of their
visitation, saith the LORD.
24-48:47 Yet
will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the latter days, saith the LORD. Thus far is the judgment of Moab.
24-49:1 Concerning
the Ammonites, thus saith the LORD; Hath Israel
no sons? hath he no heir? why then doth
their king inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his cities?
24-49:2 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I
will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall
be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall
Israel be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith
the LORD.
24-49:5 Behold,
I will bring a fear upon thee, saith the Lord
GOD of hosts, from all those that be about thee; and ye shall be driven out
every man right forth; and none shall gather up him that wandereth.
24-49:6 And
afterward I will bring again the captivity of the children of Ammon, saith the LORD.
24-49:7 Concerning
Edom, thus saith the LORD of hosts; Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel
perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?
24-49:12 For
thus saith the LORD; Behold, they whose judgment
was not to drink of the cup have
assuredly drunken; and art thou he that shall altogether go unpunished?
thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink of it.
24-49:13 For
I have sworn by myself, saith the LORD, that Bozrah
shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities
thereof shall be perpetual wastes.
24-49:16 Thy
terribleness hath deceived thee, and the
pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that
holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as
the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith
the LORD.
24-49:18 As
in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD, no
man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.
24-49:26 Therefore
her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut
off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts.
24-49:28 Concerning
Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of
Babylon shall smite, thus saith the LORD; Arise
ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east.
24-49:30 Flee,
get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken
counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you.
24-49:31 Arise,
get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the LORD, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone.
24-49:32 And
their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I
will scatter into all winds them that are
in the utmost corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides
thereof, saith the LORD.
24-49:35 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break
the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.
24-49:37 For
I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that
seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the
LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:
24-49:38 And
I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the
princes, saith the LORD.
24-49:39 But
it shall come to pass in the latter days, that
I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith
the LORD.
24-50:4 In
those days, and in that time, saith the LORD,
the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going
and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.
24-50:10 And
Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, saith the LORD.
24-50:18 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the
king of Assyria.
24-50:20 In
those days, and in that time, saith the LORD,
the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be
found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.
24-50:21 Go
up against the land of Merathaim, even against
it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them,
saith the LORD, and do according to all that I
have commanded thee.
24-50:30 Therefore
shall her young men fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut
off in that day, saith the LORD.
24-50:31 Behold,
I am against thee, O thou most proud, saith the Lord GOD of hosts: for thy day is come, the
time that I will visit thee.
24-50:33 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel
and the children of Judah were oppressed
together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let
them go.
24-50:35 A
sword is upon the Chaldeans, saith the LORD, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon,
and upon her princes, and upon her wise men.
24-50:40 As
God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD; so shall no man abide there, neither shall
any son of man dwell therein.
24-51:1 Thus
saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against
Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against
me, a destroying wind;
24-51:24 And
I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil
that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith
the LORD.
24-51:25 Behold,
I am against thee, O destroying
mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all
the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from
the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.
24-51:26 And
they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations;
but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the
LORD.
24-51:33 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
The daughter of Babylon is like a
threshingfloor, it is time to thresh
her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.
24-51:36 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy
cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her
springs dry.
24-51:39 In
their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they
may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD.
24-51:48 Then
the heaven and the earth, and all that is
therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the spoilers shall come unto her from
the north, saith the LORD.
24-51:52 Wherefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I
will do judgment upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded
shall groan.
24-51:53 Though
Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of
her strength, yet from me shall
spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD.
24-51:57 And
I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men,
her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a
perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King,
whose name is the LORD of hosts.
24-51:58 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of
Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire;
and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall
be weary.
25-3:24 The
LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
25-3:37 Who
is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?
26-2:4 For
they are impudent children and
stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
26-3:11 And
go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and
speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the
Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
26-3:27 But
when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them,
Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let
him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.
26-5:5 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries
that are round about her.
26-5:7 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied
more than the nations that are round
about you, and have not walked in my
statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments
of the nations that are round about
you;
26-5:8 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute
judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
26-5:11 Wherefore,
as I live, saith
the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy
detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also
diminish thee; neither shall mine eye
spare, neither will I have any pity.
26-6:3 And
say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills,
to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high
places.
26-6:11 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and
stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house
of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the
pestilence.
26-7:2 Also,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto
the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
26-7:5 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil,
behold, is come.
26-11:5 And
the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel:
for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.
26-11:7 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have
laid in the midst of it, they are the
flesh, and this city is the caldron:
but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
26-11:8 Ye
have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.
26-11:16 Therefore
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast
them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the
countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where
they shall come.
26-11:17 Therefore
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather
you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been
scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
26-11:21 But
as for them whose heart walketh after
the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense
their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord
GOD.
26-12:10 Say
thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; This
burden concerneth the prince in
Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are
among them.
26-12:19 And
say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the
Lord GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and
of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and
drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all
that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.
26-12:23 Tell
them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will
make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in
Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every
vision.
26-12:25 For
I am the LORD: I will speak, and the
word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for
in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-12:28 Therefore
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There
shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken
shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:3 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish
prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
26-13:6 They
have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm
the word.
26-13:7 Have
ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas
ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken?
26-13:8 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken
vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am
against you, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:13 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and
there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
26-13:16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which
prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:18 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes,
and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt
the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?
26-13:20 Wherefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye
there hunt the souls to make them fly,
and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
26-14:4 Therefore
speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith
the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his
heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and
cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the
multitude of his idols;
26-14:6 Therefore
say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the
Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from
your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
26-14:11 That
the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more
with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be
their God, saith the Lord GOD.
26-14:14 Though
these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their
righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.
26-14:16 Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they
shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the
land shall be desolate.
26-14:18 Though
these three men were in it, as I live, saith
the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only
shall be delivered themselves.
26-14:20 Though
Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith
the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their
righteousness.
26-14:21 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I
send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the
noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
26-14:23 And
they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall
know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-15:6 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; As the vine tree among
the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I
give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
26-15:8 And
I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord GOD.
26-16:3 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy
birth and thy nativity is of the land
of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite,
and thy mother an Hittite.
26-16:8 Now
when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my
skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered
into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD,
and thou becamest mine.
26-16:14 And
thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which
I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
26-16:19 My
meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set
it before them for a sweet savour: and thus
it was, saith the Lord GOD.
26-16:23 And
it came to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the Lord GOD;)
26-16:30 How
weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing
thou doest all these things, the work
of an imperious whorish woman;
26-16:36 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was
poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers,
and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children,
which thou didst give unto them;
26-16:43 Because
thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all
these things; behold, therefore I
also will recompense thy way upon thine head,
saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit
this lewdness above all thine abominations.
26-16:48 As I live, saith
the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou
hast done, thou and thy daughters.
26-16:58 Thou
hast borne thy lewdness and thine abominations, saith
the LORD.
26-16:59 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with
thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.
26-16:63 That
thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more
because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast
done, saith the Lord GOD.
26-17:3 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with
great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto
Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:
26-17:9 Say
thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper?
shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it
wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great
power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof.
26-17:16 As I live, saith
the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the
king dwelleth that made him king,
whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.
26-17:19 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant
that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.
26-17:22 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the
highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one,
and will plant it upon an high
mountain and eminent:
26-18:3 As I live, saith
the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any
more to use this proverb in Israel.
26-18:9 Hath
walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.
26-18:23 Have
I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith
the Lord GOD: and not that he should
return from his ways, and live?
26-18:29 Yet
saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord
is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways
unequal?
26-18:30 Therefore
I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions;
so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
26-18:32 For
I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith
the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and
live ye.
26-20:3 Son
of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith
the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.
26-20:5 And
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the
day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of
Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up
mine hand unto them, saying, I am the
LORD your God;
26-20:27 Therefore,
son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have
blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me.
26-20:30 Wherefore
say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the
Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye
whoredom after their abominations?
26-20:31 For
when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye
pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be
enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As
I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be
enquired of by you.
26-20:33 As I live, saith
the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with
fury poured out, will I rule over you:
26-20:36 Like
as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will
I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.
26-20:39 As
for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord
GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no
more with your gifts, and with your idols.
26-20:40 For
in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of
Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there
will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all
your holy things.
26-20:44 And
ye shall know that I am the LORD,
when I have wrought with you for my name’s sake, not according to your wicked
ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
26-20:47 And
say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in
thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming
flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be
burned therein.
26-21:3 And
say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD;
Behold, I am against thee, and will draw
forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and
the wicked.
26-21:7 And
it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt
answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all
hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be
weak as water: behold, it cometh, and
shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.
26-21:9 Son
of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD;
Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:
26-21:13 Because
it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall
be no more, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-21:24 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made
your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so
that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the
hand.
26-21:26 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take
off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him
that is high.
26-21:28 And
thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith
the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say
thou, The sword, the sword is drawn:
for the slaughter it is furbished, to
consume because of the glittering:
26-22:3 Then
say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city
sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols
against herself to defile herself.
26-22:12 In
thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase,
and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast
forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.
26-22:19 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye are all
become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
26-22:28 And
her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.
26-22:31 Therefore
have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the
fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
26-23:22 Therefore,
O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I
will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I
will bring them against thee on every side;
26-23:28 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver
thee into the hand of them whom thou
hatest, into the hand of them from
whom thy mind is alienated:
26-23:32 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy
sister’s cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in
derision; it containeth much.
26-23:34 Thou
shalt even drink it and suck it out,
and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I
have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-23:35 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast
forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy
lewdness and thy whoredoms.
26-23:46 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a
company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.
26-24:3 And
utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:
26-24:6 Wherefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city,
to the pot whose scum is therein, and
whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall
upon it.
26-24:9 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city!
I will even make the pile for fire great.
26-24:14 I
the LORD have spoken it: it shall
come to pass, and I will do it; I
will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy
ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.
26-24:21 Speak
unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the
desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your
daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.
26-25:3 And
say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against
my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was
desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;
26-25:6 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast
clapped thine hands, and stamped with
the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of
Israel;
26-25:8 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir
do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like
unto all the heathen;
26-25:12 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt
against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and
revenged himself upon them;
26-25:13 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out
mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it
desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
26-25:14 And
I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they
shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they
shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.
26-25:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have
dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;
26-25:16 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch
out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and
destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
26-26:3 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause
many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.
26-26:5 It
shall be a place for the spreading of
nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall
become a spoil to the nations.
26-26:7 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon
Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with
horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people.
26-26:14 And
I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the
LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-26:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles
shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is
made in the midst of thee?
26-26:19 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee
a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up
the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee;
26-26:21 I
will make thee a terror, and thou shalt
be no more: though thou be sought
for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-27:3 And
say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for
many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus,
thou hast said, I am of perfect
beauty.
26-28:2 Son
of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith
the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted
up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I
sit in the seat of God, in the midst
of the seas; yet thou art a man, and
not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
26-28:6 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set
thine heart as the heart of God;
26-28:10 Thou
shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have
spoken it, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-28:12 Son
of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of
wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
26-28:22 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be
glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall
be sanctified in her.
26-28:25 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered
the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be
sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their
land that I have given to my servant Jacob.
26-29:3 Speak,
and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt,
the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My
river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.
26-29:8 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a
sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.
26-29:13 Yet
thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty
years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:
26-29:19 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the
land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her
multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for
his army.
26-29:20 I
have given him the land of Egypt for his
labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD.
26-30:2 Son
of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!
26-30:6 Thus
saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt
shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene
shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the
Lord GOD.
26-30:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the
multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
26-30:13 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols,
and I will cause their images to
cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt:
and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
26-30:22 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and
will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause
the sword to fall out of his hand.
26-31:10 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast
lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick
boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;
26-31:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down
to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the
floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn
for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.
26-31:18 To
whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet
shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the
earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:3 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out
my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in
my net.
26-32:8 All
the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon
thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:11 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king
of Babylon shall come upon thee.
26-32:14 Then
will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:16 This
is the lamentation wherewith they
shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall
lament for her, even for Egypt, and
for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:31 Pharaoh
shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by
the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:32 For
I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the
midst of the uncircumcised with them that
are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh
and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
26-33:11 Say
unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of
the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye
from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
26-33:25 Wherefore
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat
with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and
shall ye possess the land?
26-33:27 Say
thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the
sword, and him that is in the open
field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall
die of the pestilence.
26-34:2 Son
of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them,
Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do
feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
26-34:8 As I live, saith
the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat
to every beast of the field, because there
was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the
shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
26-34:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require
my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither
shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from
their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
26-34:11 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and
seek them out.
26-34:15 I
will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-34:17 And
as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and
cattle, between the rams and the he goats.
26-34:20 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat
cattle and between the lean cattle.
26-34:30 Thus
shall they know that I the LORD their God am
with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-34:31 And
ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are
men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD.
26-35:3 And
say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O
mount Seir, I am against thee, and I
will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
26-35:6 Therefore,
as I live, saith
the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith
thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.
26-35:11 Therefore,
as I live, saith
the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine
envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make
myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
26-35:14 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth
rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.
26-36:2 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said
against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:
26-36:3 Therefore
prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Because they have made you desolate,
and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the
residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:
26-36:4 Therefore,
ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills,
to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities
that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the
heathen that are round about;
26-36:5 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of
my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea,
which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to
cast it out for a prey.
26-36:6 Prophesy
therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the
hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith
the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye
have borne the shame of the heathen:
26-36:7 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine
hand, Surely the heathen that are about
you, they shall bear their shame.
26-36:13 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you,
Thou land devourest up men, and hast
bereaved thy nations;
26-36:14 Therefore
thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.
26-36:15 Neither
will I cause men to hear in thee the
shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the
people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD.
26-36:22 Therefore
say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the
Lord GOD; I do not this for your
sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned
among the heathen, whither ye went.
26-36:23 And
I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye
have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith
the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
26-36:32 Not
for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed
and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.
26-36:33 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have
cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
26-36:37 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of
Israel, to do it for them; I will
increase them with men like a flock.
26-37:5 Thus
saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I
will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
26-37:9 Then
said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the
wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the
four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
26-37:12 Therefore
prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out
of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
26-37:14 And
shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your
own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
26-37:19 Say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I
will take the stick of Joseph, which is in
the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them
with him, even with the stick of
Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
26-37:21 And
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold,
I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be
gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
26-38:3 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince
of Meshech and Tubal:
26-38:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come
into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
26-38:14 Therefore,
son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith
the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou
not know it?
26-38:17 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the
prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
26-38:18 And
it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of
Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
26-38:21 And
I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against
his brother.
26-39:1 Therefore,
thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith
the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
26-39:5 Thou
shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-39:8 Behold,
it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD;
this is the day whereof I have
spoken.
26-39:10 So
that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall
burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and
rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
26-39:13 Yea,
all the people of the land shall bury them;
and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
26-39:17 And,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak
unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves,
and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice
for you, even a great sacrifice upon
the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
26-39:20 Thus
ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and
with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
26-39:25 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again
the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will
be jealous for my holy name;
26-39:29 Neither
will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon
the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
26-43:18 And
he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord
GOD; These are the ordinances of the
altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and
to sprinkle blood thereon.
26-43:19 And
thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which
approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the
Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.
26-43:27 And
when these days are expired, it shall be, that
upon the eighth day, and so forward,
the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace
offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord
GOD.
26-44:6 And
thou shalt say to the rebellious, even to
the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O
ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations,
26-44:9 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised
in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any
stranger that is among the children
of Israel.
26-44:12 Because
they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to
fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their
iniquity.
26-44:15 But
the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my
sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near
to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the
fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:
26-44:27 And
in the day that he goeth into the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister in
the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-45:9 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O
princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice,
take away your exactions from my people, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-45:15 And
one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the fat pastures of
Israel; for a meat offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings,
to make reconciliation for them, saith the Lord
GOD.
26-45:18 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish,
and cleanse the sanctuary:
26-46:1 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court
that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the
sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
26-46:16 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift
unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons’; it shall be their possession by
inheritance.
26-47:13 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to
the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall
have two portions.
26-47:23 And
it shall come to pass, that in what
tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord
GOD.
26-48:29 This
is the land which ye shall divide by
lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord
GOD.
28-2:13 And
I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them,
and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her
lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.
28-2:16 And
it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt
call me no more Baali.
28-2:21 And
it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith
the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;
28-11:11 They
shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria:
and I will place them in their houses, saith the
LORD.
29-2:12 Therefore
also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with
fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
30-1:3 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of
Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with
threshing instruments of iron:
30-1:5 I
will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain
of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the
people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith
the LORD.
30-1:6 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of
Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the
punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity,
to deliver them up to Edom:
30-1:8 And
I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre
from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the
Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.
30-1:9 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of
Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the
punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and
remembered not the brotherly covenant:
30-1:11 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of
Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the
punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and
did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his
wrath for ever:
30-1:13 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the
children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with
child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:
30-1:15 And
their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.
30-2:1 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of
Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the
punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into
lime:
30-2:3 And
I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes
thereof with him, saith the LORD.
30-2:4 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of
Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the
punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and
have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the
which their fathers have walked:
30-2:6 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of
Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the
punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the
poor for a pair of shoes;
30-2:11 And
I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of
Israel? saith the LORD.
30-2:16 And
he that is courageous among the
mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith
the LORD.
30-3:10 For
they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store
up violence and robbery in their palaces.
30-3:11 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary there shall be even round about the
land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be
spoiled.
30-3:12 Thus
saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of
the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of
Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in
Damascus in a couch.
30-3:13 Hear
ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the
Lord GOD, the God of hosts,
30-3:15 And
I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory
shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith
the LORD.
30-4:3 And
ye shall go out at the breaches, every cow
at that which is before her; and ye shall cast them into the palace, saith the
LORD.
30-4:5 And
offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this
liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the
Lord GOD.
30-4:6 And
I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread
in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith
the LORD.
30-4:8 So
two or three cities wandered unto one
city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned
unto me, saith the LORD.
30-4:9 I
have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards
and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
30-4:10 I
have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men
have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made
the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned
unto me, saith the LORD.
30-4:11 I
have overthrown some of you, as God
overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the
burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith
the LORD.
30-5:3 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred,
and that which went forth by an
hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.
30-5:4 For
thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel,
Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
30-5:16 Therefore
the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith
thus; Wailing shall be in all
streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall
call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to
wailing.
30-5:17 And
in all vineyards shall be wailing:
for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.
30-5:27 Therefore
will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith
the LORD, whose name is The God of
hosts.
30-6:8 The
Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD
the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces:
therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein.
30-6:14 But,
behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, saith the LORD the God of hosts; and they shall
afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river of the wilderness.
30-7:3 The
LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith
the LORD.
30-7:6 The
LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith
the Lord GOD.
30-7:11 For
thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the
sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.
30-7:17 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot
in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy
land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and
Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.
30-8:3 And
the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith
the Lord GOD: there shall be many
dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them
forth with silence.
30-8:9 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the
Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the
earth in the clear day:
30-8:11 Behold,
the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will
send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but
of hearing the words of the LORD:
30-9:7 Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians
unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD.
Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from
Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
30-9:8 Behold,
the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the
sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving
that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith
the LORD.
30-9:12 That
they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called
by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.
30-9:13 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman
shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and
the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
30-9:15 And
I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of
their land which I have given them, saith the
LORD thy God.
31-1:1 The
vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD
concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is
sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.
31-1:3 The
pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of
the rock, whose habitation is high;
that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down
to the ground?
31-1:4 Though
thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and
though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.
31-1:8 Shall
I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy
the wise men out of Edom, and
understanding out of the mount of Esau?
33-2:3 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family
do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall
ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
33-3:5 Thus
saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make
my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth
not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
33-4:6 In
that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her
that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have
afflicted;
33-5:10 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the
LORD, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will
destroy thy chariots:
33-6:1 Hear
ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou
before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.
34-1:12 Thus
saith the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when
he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no
more.
34-2:13 Behold,
I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots
in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy
prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.
34-3:5 Behold,
I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy
skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the
kingdoms thy shame.
35-2:19 Woe
unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the
dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
36-1:2 I
will utterly consume all things from
off the land, saith the LORD.
36-1:3 I
will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the
fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off
man from off the land, saith the LORD.
36-1:10 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the
LORD, that there shall be the noise
of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great
crashing from the hills.
36-2:9 Therefore
as I live, saith
the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the
children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the
breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of
my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.
36-3:8 Therefore
wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day
that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour
upon them mine indignation, even all
my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my
jealousy.
36-3:20 At
that time will I bring you again, even
in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among
all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.
37-1:5 Now
therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider
your ways.
37-1:7 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
37-1:8 Go
up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take
pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith
the LORD.
37-1:9 Ye
looked for much, and, lo, it came to
little; and when ye brought it home,
I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of
hosts. Because of mine house that is waste,
and ye run every man unto his own house.
37-1:13 Then
spake Haggai the LORD’S messenger in the LORD’S message unto the people,
saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.
37-2:4 Yet
now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and
be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye
people of the land, saith the LORD, and work:
for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
37-2:6 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the
heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
37-2:7 And
I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will
fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of
hosts.
37-2:8 The
silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith
the LORD of hosts.
37-2:9 The
glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give
peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
37-2:11 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
37-2:14 Then
answered Haggai, and said, So is this
people, and so is this nation before
me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.
37-2:17 I
smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of
your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD.
37-2:23 In
that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take
thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith
the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
38-1:3 Therefore
say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of
hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts,
and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of
hosts.
38-1:4 Be
ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil
ways, and from your evil doings: but
they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith
the LORD.
38-1:14 So
the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem
and for Zion with a great jealousy.
38-1:16 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem
with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith
the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.
38-1:17 Cry
yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My
cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet
comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
38-2:5 For
I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire
round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
38-2:6 Ho,
ho, come forth, and flee from the
land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have
spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith
the LORD.
38-2:8 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory
hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you
toucheth the apple of his eye.
38-2:10 Sing
and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst
of thee, saith the LORD.
38-3:7 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my
ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and
shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that
stand by.
38-3:9 For
behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will
engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of
hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
38-3:10 In
that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call
every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
38-4:6 Then
he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is
the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power,
but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
38-5:4 I
will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts,
and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that
sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and
shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.
38-7:13 Therefore
it is come to pass, that as he cried,
and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:
38-8:2 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion
with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.
38-8:3 Thus
saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and
will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of
truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.
38-8:4 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men
and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff
in his hand for very age.
38-8:6 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in
the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be
marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of
hosts.
38-8:7 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my
people from the east country, and from the west country;
38-8:9 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong,
ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid,
that the temple might be built.
38-8:11 But
now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts.
38-8:14 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to
punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith
the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:
38-8:17 And
let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no
false oath: for all these are things that
I hate, saith the LORD.
38-8:19 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and
the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of
Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and
peace.
38-8:20 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that
there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:
38-8:23 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men
shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of
the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
38-10:12 And
I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his
name, saith the LORD.
38-11:4 Thus
saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the
slaughter;
38-11:6 For
I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith
the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s hand,
and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their
hand I will not deliver them.
38-12:1 The
burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith
the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the
earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
38-12:4 In
that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every
horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes
upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with
blindness.
38-13:2 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the
LORD of hosts, that I will cut off
the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered:
and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the
land.
38-13:7 Awake,
O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of
hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn
mine hand upon the little ones.
38-13:8 And
it shall come to pass, that in all
the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein
shall be cut off and die; but the
third shall be left therein.
39-1:2 I
have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say,
Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not
Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I
loved Jacob,
39-1:4 Whereas
Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will
return and build the desolate places; thus saith
the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call
them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath
indignation for ever.
39-1:6 A
son honoureth his father, and a
servant his master: if then I be a
father, where is mine honour? and if
I be a master, where is my fear? saith
the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say,
Wherein have we despised thy name?
39-1:8 And
if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is
it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased
with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD
of hosts.
39-1:9 And
now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been
by your means: will he regard your persons? saith
the LORD of hosts.
39-1:10 Who
is there even among you that would
shut the doors for nought? neither do
ye kindle fire on mine altar for
nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the
LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
39-1:11 For
from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and
in every place incense shall be offered
unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith
the LORD of hosts.
39-1:13 Ye
said also, Behold, what a weariness is
it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the
LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which
was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I
accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.
39-1:14 But
cursed be the deceiver, which hath in
his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing:
for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.
39-2:2 If
ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it
to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith
the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your
blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
39-2:4 And
ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant
might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
39-2:8 But
ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye
have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the
LORD of hosts.
39-2:16 For
the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he
hateth putting away: for one covereth
violence with his garment, saith the LORD of
hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
39-3:1 Behold,
I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord,
whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the
covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith
the LORD of hosts.
39-3:5 And
I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the
sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against
those that oppress the hireling in his wages,
the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
39-3:7 Even
from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have
not kept them. Return unto me, and I
will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.
But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
39-3:10 Bring
ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house,
and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of
hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a
blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
39-3:11 And
I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits
of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the
field, saith the LORD of hosts.
39-3:12 And
all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
39-3:13 Your
words have been stout against me, saith the
LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so
much against thee?
39-3:17 And
they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that
day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own
son that serveth him.
39-4:1 For,
behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and
all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them
up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave
them neither root nor branch.
39-4:3 And
ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your
feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
40-4:6 And
saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast
thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning
thee: and in their hands they shall
bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
40-4:9 And
saith unto him, All these things will I give
thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
40-4:10 Then
saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for
it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou
serve.
40-4:19 And
he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make
you fishers of men.
40-7:21 Not
every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall
enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which
is in heaven.
40-8:4 And
Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but
go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses
commanded, for a testimony unto them.
40-8:7 And
Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
40-8:20 And
Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the
birds of the air have nests; but the
Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
40-8:26 And
he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of
little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a
great calm.
40-9:6 But
that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then
saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take
up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
40-9:9 And
as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the
receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow
me. And he arose, and followed him.
40-9:28 And
when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this?
They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
40-9:37 Then
saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
40-12:13 Then
saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand.
And he stretched it forth; and it was
restored whole, like as the other.
40-12:44 Then
he saith, I will return into my house from
whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
40-13:14 And
in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith,
By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see,
and shall not perceive:
40-13:51 Jesus
saith unto them, Have ye understood all these
things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
40-15:34 And
Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye?
And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.
40-16:15 He
saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
40-17:25 He
saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house,
Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of
the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
40-17:26 Peter
saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
40-18:22 Jesus
saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven
times: but, Until seventy times seven.
40-19:8 He
saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness
of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it
was not so.
40-19:18 He
saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do
no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not
bear false witness,
40-19:20 The
young man saith unto him, All these things have
I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
40-20:6 And
about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
40-20:7 They
say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith
unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
40-20:8 So
when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith
unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
40-20:21 And
he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto
him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other
on the left, in thy kingdom.
40-20:23 And
he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my
cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my
right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
40-21:16 And
said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith
unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings
thou hast perfected praise?
40-21:31 Whether
of them twain did the will of his father?
They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto
them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the
kingdom of God before you.
40-21:42 Jesus
saith unto them, Did ye never read in the
scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head
of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
40-22:8 Then

hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
40-22:20 And
he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?

things that are God’s.
40-22:43 He
saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit
call him Lord, saying,
40-26:18 And
he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at
thy house with my disciples.
40-26:31 Then
saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended
because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the
sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
40-26:36 Then
cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and
pray yonder.
40-26:38 Then
saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful,
even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
40-26:40 And
he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one
hour?

cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them,
Sleep on now, and take your rest:
behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of
sinners.

saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I

of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I

things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
41-2:10 But
that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)

sinners to repentance.

he saith unto the man which had the withered

doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no

And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art

removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but
shall believe that those things which he saith
shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
41-11:33 And

unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
41-14:13 And

is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands
of sinners.

42-22:11 And
ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith
unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my
disciples?

unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being
interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw
where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.

answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast
under the fig tree, I saw thee.

answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the
Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

43-4:9 Then
saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it
that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for
the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
43-4:10 Jesus
answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that
saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest
have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
43-4:11 The
woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to
draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
43-4:15 The
woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water,
that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come
hither.

he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we
know? how is it then that he saith, I came down
from heaven?

saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by
night, being one of them,)

said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith,

43-8:25 Then
said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith
unto them, Even the same that I said
unto you from the beginning.
43-8:39 They
answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye
would do the works of Abraham.

after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.
43-11:11 These
things said he: and after that he saith unto
them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
43-11:23 Jesus
saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
43-11:24 Martha
saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again
in the resurrection at the last day.
43-11:27 She
saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou
art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
43-11:39 Jesus
said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he
hath been dead four days.
43-11:40 Jesus
saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou
wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
43-11:44 And
he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his
face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith
unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
43-12:4 Then
saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot,
Simon’s son, which should betray him,
43-13:6 Then
cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto
him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
43-13:8 Peter
saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet.
Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
43-13:9 Simon
Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only,
but also my hands and my head.
43-13:10 Jesus
saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save
to wash his feet, but is clean every whit:
and ye are clean, but not all.
43-13:25 He
then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him,
Lord, who is it?
43-14:5 Thomas
saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou
goest; and how can we know the way?
43-14:6 Jesus
saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the
life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
43-14:8 Philip
saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it
sufficeth us.
43-14:9 Jesus
saith unto him, Have I been so long time with
you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the
Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew
us the Father?
43-14:22 Judas
saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it
that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
43-16:17 Then
said some of his disciples among
themselves, What is this that he saith unto us,
A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye
shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?
43-16:18 They
said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little
while? we cannot tell what he saith.
43-18:5 They
answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith
unto them, I am he. And Judas also,
which betrayed him, stood with them.
43-18:17 Then
saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter,
Art not thou also one of this man’s
disciples? He saith, I am not.
43-18:26 One
of the servants of the high priest, being his
kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did
not I see thee in the garden with him?
43-18:38 Pilate
saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had
said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith
unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
43-19:4 Pilate
therefore went forth again, and saith unto them,
Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.
43-19:5 Then
came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith
unto them, Behold the man!
43-19:6 When
the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying,
Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith
unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for
I find no fault in him.
43-19:9 And
went again into the judgment hall, and saith
unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.
43-19:10 Then
saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto
me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to
release thee?
43-19:14 And
it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
43-19:15 But
they cried out, Away with him, away
with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief
priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.
43-19:24 They
said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it,
whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my
vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.
43-19:26 When
Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he
saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
43-19:27 Then
saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And
from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
43-19:28 After
this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might
be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
43-19:35 And
he that saw it bare record, and his
record is true: and he knoweth that he saith
true, that ye might believe.
43-19:37 And
again another scripture saith, They shall look
on him whom they pierced.
43-20:2 Then
she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus
loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away
the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
43-20:13 And
they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith
unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have
laid him.
43-20:15 Jesus
saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom
seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith
unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him,
and I will take him away.
43-20:16 Jesus
saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
43-20:17 Jesus
saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet
ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto
my Father, and your Father; and to my
God, and your God.
43-20:19 Then
the same day at evening, being the first day
of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled
for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
43-20:22 And
when he had said this, he breathed on them,
and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy
Ghost:
43-20:27 Then
saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and
behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
43-20:29 Jesus
saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me,
thou hast believed: blessed are they
that have not seen, and yet have
believed.
43-21:3 Simon
Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say
unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship
immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
43-21:5 Then
Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any
meat? They answered him, No.
43-21:7 Therefore
that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter,
It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
43-21:10 Jesus
saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have
now caught.
43-21:12 Jesus
saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou?
knowing that it was the Lord.
43-21:15 So
when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter,
Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me
more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord;
thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto
him, Feed my lambs.
43-21:16 He
saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love
thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
43-21:17 He
saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was
grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said
unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
43-21:19 This
spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had
spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
43-21:21 Peter
seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
43-21:22 Jesus
saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I
come, what is that to thee? follow
thou me.
44-1:4 And,
being assembled together with them, commanded
them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of
the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
44-2:17 And
it shall come to pass in the last days, saith
God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your
daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old
men shall dream dreams:
44-2:34 For
David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith
himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
44-7:48 Howbeit
the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
44-7:49 Heaven
is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye
build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
44-12:8 And
the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did.
And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about
thee, and follow me.
44-13:35 Wherefore
he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
44-15:17 That
the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom
my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all
these things.
44-21:11 And
when he was come unto us, he took Paul’s girdle, and bound his own hands and
feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So
shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall
deliver him into the hands of the
Gentiles.
44-22:2 (And
when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more
silence: and he saith,)
45-3:19 Now
we know that what things soever the law saith,
it saith to them who are under the law: that
every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
45-4:3 For
what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God,
and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
45-9:15 For
he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I
will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
45-9:17 For
the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this
same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and
that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
45-9:25 As
he saith also in Osee, I will call them my
people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
45-10:8 But
what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:
that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
45-10:11 For
the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall
not be ashamed.
45-10:16 But
they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith,
Lord, who hath believed our report?
45-10:19 But
I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I
will provoke you to jealousy by them that
are no people, and by a foolish
nation I will anger you.
45-10:20 But
Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of
them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
45-10:21 But
to Israel he saith, All day long I have
stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
45-11:2 God
hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God
against Israel, saying,
45-11:4 But
what saith the answer of God unto him? I have
reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
45-11:9 And
David saith, Let their table be made a snare,
and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
45-12:19 Dearly
beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather
give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the
Lord.
45-14:11 For
it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every
tongue shall confess to God.
45-15:10 And
again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his
people.
45-15:12 And
again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of
Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the
Gentiles trust.
46-1:12 Now
this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of
Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
46-3:4 For
while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
46-6:16 What?
know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
46-9:8 Say
I these things as a man? or saith not the law
the same also?
46-9:10 Or
saith he it
altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that
he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
46-14:21 In
the law it is written, With men of other
tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will
they not hear me, saith the Lord.
46-14:34 Let
your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to
speak; but they are commanded to be
under obedience, as also saith the law.
46-15:27 For
he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith
all things are put under him, it is manifest
that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
47-6:2 (For
he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted,
and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
47-6:17 Wherefore
come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith
the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing;
and I will receive you,
47-6:18 And
will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
48-3:16 Now
to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith
not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
48-4:30 Nevertheless
what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman
and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the
freewoman.
49-4:8 Wherefore
he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led
captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
49-5:14 Wherefore
he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise
from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
54-5:18 For
the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the
ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.
58-1:6 And
again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
58-1:7 And
of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels
spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
58-1:8 But
unto the Son he saith,
Thy throne, O God, is for ever
and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the
sceptre of thy kingdom.
58-3:7 Wherefore
(as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear
his voice,
58-5:6 As
he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for
ever after the order of Melchisedec.
58-8:5 Who
serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished
of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou
make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
58-8:8 For
finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the
days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a
new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
58-8:9 Not
according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took
them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued
not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith
the Lord.
58-8:10 For
this is the covenant that I will make
with the house of Israel after those days, saith
the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts:
and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
58-8:13 In
that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth
old is ready to vanish away.
58-10:5 Wherefore
when he cometh into the world, he saith,
Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
58-10:16 This
is the covenant that I will make with
them after those days, saith the Lord, I will
put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
58-10:30 For
we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth
unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord.
And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
59-2:23 And
the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham
believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called
the Friend of God.
59-4:5 Do
ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The
spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
59-4:6 But
he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God
resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
62-2:4 He
that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his
commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
62-2:6 He
that saith he abideth in him ought himself also
so to walk, even as he walked.
62-2:9 He
that saith he is in the light, and hateth his
brother, is in darkness even until now.
66-1:8 I
am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith
the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
66-2:1 Unto
the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith
he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of
the seven golden candlesticks;
66-2:7 He
that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith
unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of
life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
66-2:8 And
unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is
alive;
66-2:11 He
that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith
unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
66-2:12 And
to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
66-2:17 He
that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith
unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden
manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written,
which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
66-2:18 And
unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a
flame of fire, and his feet are like
fine brass;
66-2:29 He
that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith
unto the churches.
66-3:1 And
unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the
seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art
dead.
66-3:6 He
that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith
unto the churches.
66-3:7 And
to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath
the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no
man openeth;
66-3:13 He
that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith
unto the churches.
66-3:14 And
unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the
beginning of the creation of God;
66-3:22 He
that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith
unto the churches.
66-5:5 And
one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not:
behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to
open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
66-14:13 And
I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their
labours; and their works do follow them.
66-17:15 And
he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest,
where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
66-18:7 How
much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and
sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I
sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
66-19:9 And
he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the
marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto
me, These are the true sayings of God.
66-22:9 Then
saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the
prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
66-22:10 And
he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the
prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
66-22:20 He
which testifieth these things saith, Surely I
come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
