judgment cometh from the LORD.

making a noise,

01-47:6 The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land
make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell:
and if thou knowest any men of
activity among them, then make them rulers over
my cattle.
02-16:22 And
it came to pass, that on the sixth
day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the
congregation came and told Moses.
02-18:21 Moreover
thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of
truth, hating covetousness; and place such
over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers
of tens:
02-18:25 And
Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers
of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
02-34:31 And
Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers
of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.
02-35:27 And
the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be
set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;
05-1:13 Take you wise men, and
understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.
07-15:11 Then three thousand men of Judah went
to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the
Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast
done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto
them.
10-8:18 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the
Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief rulers.
11-9:22 But of the children of Israel did
Solomon make no bondmen: but they were men
of war, and his servants, and his princes, and his captains, and rulers of his chariots, and his horsemen.
12-10:1 And Ahab had seventy sons in
Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to them that
brought up Ahab’s children, saying,
12-11:4 And the seventh year Jehoiada sent
and fetched the rulers over hundreds, with the
captains and the guard, and brought them to him into the house of the LORD, and
made a covenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of the LORD,
and shewed them the king’s son.
12-11:19 And he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard,
and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house
of the LORD, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king’s house.
And he sat on the throne of the kings.
13-21:2 And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beersheba
even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it.
13-26:32 And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred
chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over
the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter
pertaining to God, and affairs of the king.
13-27:31 And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers
of the substance which was king David’s.
13-29:6 Then the chief of the fathers and
princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds,
with the rulers of the king’s work, offered
willingly,
14-29:20 Then Hezekiah the king rose early,
and gathered the rulers of the city, and went up
to the house of the LORD.
14-35:8 And his princes gave willingly unto
the people, to the priests, and to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and
Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave unto
the priests for the passover offerings two thousand and six hundred small cattle, and three hundred oxen.
15-9:2 For they have taken of their
daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have
mingled themselves with the people of those
lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers
hath been chief in this trespass.
15-10:14 Let now our rulers
of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken strange wives
in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city,
and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter be
turned from us.
16-2:16 And the rulers
knew not whither I went, or what I did; neither had I as yet told it to the Jews, nor to the priests, nor
to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the
rest that did the work.
16-4:14 And I looked, and rose up, and said
unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the
rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for
your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
16-4:16 And it came to pass from that time
forth, that the half of my servants
wrought in the work, and the other half of them held both the spears, the
shields, and the bows, and the habergeons; and the rulers
were behind all the house of Judah.
16-4:19 And I said unto the nobles, and to
the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The
work is great and large, and we are
separated upon the wall, one far from another.
16-5:7 Then I consulted with myself, and I
rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said
unto them, Ye exact usury, every one of his brother. And I set a great assembly
against them.
16-5:17 Moreover there were at my table an hundred and fifty of the Jews and rulers, beside those that came unto us from among the
heathen that are about us.
16-7:5 And my God put into mine heart to
gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and
the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of
the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein,
16-11:1 And the rulers
of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to
bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.
16-12:40 So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and
the half of the rulers with me:
16-13:11 Then contended I with the rulers, and said, Why is the house of God forsaken?
And I gathered them together, and set them in their place.
17-3:12 Then were the king’s scribes called
on the thirteenth day of the first month, and there was written according to
all that Haman had commanded unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors
that were over every province, and to
the rulers of every people of every province
according to the writing thereof, and to every
people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and
sealed with the king’s ring.
17-8:9 Then were the king’s scribes called
at that time in the third month, that is,
the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai
commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven
provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every
people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and
according to their language.
17-9:3 And all the rulers of the provinces, and the lieutenants, and the deputies, and
officers of the king, helped the Jews; because the fear of Mordecai fell upon
them.
19-2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together, against
the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
23-1:10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye
people of Gomorrah.
23-14:5 The LORD hath broken the staff of
the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.
23-22:3 All thy rulers
are fled together, they are bound by the archers: all that are found in thee
are bound together, which have fled
from far.
23-29:10 For the LORD hath poured out upon you
the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.
23-49:7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of
Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom
man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall
worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
24-33:26 Then will I cast away the seed of
Jacob, and David my servant, so that
I will not take any of his seed to be rulers
over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to
return, and have mercy on them.
24-51:23 I will also break in pieces with thee
the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman
and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.
24-51:28 Prepare against her the nations with
the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion.
24-51:57 And I will make drunk her princes,
and her wise men, her captains, and
her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall
sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.
26-23:6 Which
were clothed with blue, captains and rulers,
all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.
26-23:12 She doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon
horses, all of them desirable young men.
26-23:23 The Babylonians, and all the
Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all
the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding
upon horses.
27-3:2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent
to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges,
the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of
the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
27-3:3 Then the princes, the governors,
and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and
all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered
together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set
up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
28-4:18 Their drink is sour: they have
committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give ye.
41-5:22 And, behold, there cometh one of the
rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and
when he saw him, he fell at his feet,
41-13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for
they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be
beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers
and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
42-21:12 But before all these, they shall lay
their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering
you up to the synagogues, and into
prisons, being brought before kings and rulers
for my name’s sake.
42-23:13 And Pilate, when he had called
together the chief priests and the rulers and
the people,
42-23:35 And the people stood beholding. And
the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save
himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.
42-24:20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and
have crucified him.
43-7:26 But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and
they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know
indeed that this is the very Christ?
43-7:48 Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?
43-12:42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the
Pharisees they did not confess him, lest
they should be put out of the synagogue:
44-3:17 And now, brethren, I wot that
through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
44-4:5 And it came to pass on the morrow,
that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,
44-4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy
Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people,
and elders of Israel,
44-4:26 The kings of the earth stood up, and
the rulers were gathered together against the
Lord, and against his Christ.
44-13:15 And after the reading of the law and
the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent
unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of
exhortation for the people, say on.
44-13:27 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and
their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet
the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have
fulfilled them in condemning him.
44-14:5 And when there was an assault made
both of the Gentiles, and also of the Jews with their rulers,
to use them despitefully, and to
stone them,
44-16:19 And when her masters saw that the
hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,
44-17:6 And when they found them not, they
drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers
of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come
hither also;
44-17:8 And they troubled the people and the
rulers of the city, when they heard these
things.
45-13:3 For rulers
are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid
of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
49-6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places.

14-20:6 And said, O LORD God of our fathers,
art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou
over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand

19-89:9 Thou rulest
the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

21-9:17 The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry

27-4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the

words, and seal the book, even to the
time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and
knowledge shall be increased.
29-2:4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as
horsemen, so shall they run.
29-2:7 They shall run
like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall
march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
29-2:9 They shall run
to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the
wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows
like a thief.
30-5:24 But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty
stream.
30-6:12 Shall horses run upon the rock? will one plow
there with oxen? for ye have turned
judgment into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into hemlock:
30-8:12 And they shall wander from sea to
sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run
to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
34-2:4 The chariots shall rage in the
streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall
seem like torches, they shall run like the
lightnings.
35-2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said,
Write the vision, and make it plain
upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
37-1:9 Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith
the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto
his own house.
38-2:4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall
be inhabited as towns without walls
for the multitude of men and cattle therein:
38-4:10 For who hath despised the day of
small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of
Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
40-28:8 And they departed quickly from the
sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run
to bring his disciples word.
46-9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all,
but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may
obtain.
46-9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that
beateth the air:
48-2:2 And I went up by revelation, and
communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but
privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in
vain.
48-5:7 Ye did run
well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
50-2:16 Holding forth the word of life; that
I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run
in vain, neither laboured in vain.
58-12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are
compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every
weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the
race that is set before us,
60-4:4 Wherein they think it strange that
ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we
in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there
none of the sons of Levi.
18-15:26 He runneth
upon him, even on his neck, upon the thick bosses of his
bucklers:
18-16:14 He breaketh me with breach upon
breach, he runneth upon me like a giant.
19-23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in
the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
19-147:15 He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.
20-18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
25-1:16 For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth
down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from
me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.
25-3:48 Mine eye runneth
down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
40-9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old
bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth
out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both
are preserved.
43-20:2 Then she runneth,
and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and
saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we
know not where they have laid him.
45-9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running
water:

well.

flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the
wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

tail, branch or rush, may do.

corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

08-1:4 And they
took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and
they dwelled there about ten years.
08-1:14 And
they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law;
but Ruth clave unto her.
08-1:16 And
Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee:
for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy
people shall be my people, and thy
God my God:
08-1:22 So
Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her,
which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the
beginning of barley harvest.
08-2:2 And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to
the field, and glean ears of corn after him
in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.
08-2:8 Then
said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in
another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:
08-2:21 And
Ruth the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou
shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest.
08-2:22 And
Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that
they meet thee not in any other field.
08-3:9 And he
said, Who art thou? And she answered,
I am Ruth thine
handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman.
08-4:5 Then
said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the
Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his
inheritance.
08-4:10 Moreover
Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I
purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance,
that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the
gate of his place: ye are witnesses
this day.

her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.
