the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou

in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people
go.
02-5:21 And
they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because ye have made
our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his
servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay
us.
02-8:23 And
I will put a division between my people and thy
people: to morrow shall this sign be.
02-11:7 But
against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against
man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put
a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
02-12:15 Seven
days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever
eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall
be cut off from Israel.
02-15:26 And
said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and
wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his
commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put
none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for
I am the LORD that healeth thee.
02-16:33 And
Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an
omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your
generations.
02-17:12 But
Moses’ hands were heavy; and they
took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his
hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands
were steady until the going down of the sun.
02-17:14 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a
memorial in a book, and rehearse it in
the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out
the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
02-19:12 And
thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to
yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the
border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:
02-21:12 He
that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put
to death.
02-21:15 And
he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.
02-21:16 And
he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he
shall surely be put to death.
02-21:17 And
he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

if the ox were wont to push with his horn in time past, and it hath been
testified to his owner, and he hath not kept him in, but that he hath killed a
man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death.
02-22:5 If
a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man’s field;
of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he
make restitution.
02-22:8 If
the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the
judges, to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods.
02-22:11 Then shall an oath of the LORD be
between them both, that he hath not put his hand
unto his neighbour’s goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.
02-22:19 Whosoever
lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.
02-23:1 Thou
shalt not raise a false report: put not thine
hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
02-24:6 And
Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he
sprinkled on the altar.
02-25:12 And
thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put
them in the four corners thereof; and
two rings shall be in the one side of
it, and two rings in the other side of it.
02-25:14 And
thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the
sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
02-25:16 And
thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which
I shall give thee.
02-25:21 And
thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the
ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony
that I shall give thee.
02-25:26 And
thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put
the rings in the four corners that are on
the four feet thereof.
02-26:11 And
thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put
the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.
02-26:34 And
thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of
the testimony in the most holy place.
02-26:35 And
thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the
table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side.
02-27:5 And
thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar
beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar.
02-27:7 And
the staves shall be put into the rings, and the
staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, to bear it.
02-28:12 And
thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulders
of the ephod for stones of memorial
unto the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD
upon his two shoulders for a memorial.
02-28:23 And
thou shalt make upon the breastplate two rings of gold, and shalt put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
02-28:24 And
thou shalt put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings which are on the ends of the
breastplate.
02-28:25 And
the other two ends of the two
wreathen chains thou shalt fasten in
the two ouches, and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod before it.
02-28:26 And
thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put
them upon the two ends of the breastplate in the border thereof, which is in the side of the ephod inward.
02-28:27 And
two other rings of gold thou shalt
make, and shalt put them on the two sides of the
ephod underneath, toward the forepart thereof, over against the other coupling thereof, above the
curious girdle of the ephod.
02-28:30 And
thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment
the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goeth
in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel
upon his heart before the LORD continually.
02-28:37 And
thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be
upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.
02-28:41 And
thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and
his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify
them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
02-29:3 And
thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring
them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.
02-29:5 And
thou shalt take the garments, and put upon Aaron
the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and
gird him with the curious girdle of the ephod:
02-29:6 And
thou shalt put the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre.
02-29:8 And
thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats upon
them.
02-29:9 And
thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest’s office shall
be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his
sons.
02-29:10 And
thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the
congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put
their hands upon the head of the bullock.
02-29:12 And
thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put
it upon the horns of the altar with
thy finger, and pour all the blood beside the bottom of the altar.
02-29:15 Thou
shalt also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put
their hands upon the head of the ram.
02-29:17 And
thou shalt cut the ram in pieces, and wash the inwards of him, and his legs,
and put them
unto his pieces, and unto his head.
02-29:19 And
thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.
02-29:20 Then
shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put
it upon the tip of the right ear of
Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of
their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the
blood upon the altar round about.
02-29:24 And
thou shalt put all in the hands of Aaron, and in
the hands of his sons; and shalt wave them for
a wave offering before the LORD.
02-29:30 And that son that is priest in his stead
shall put them on seven days, when he cometh
into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place.
02-30:6 And
thou shalt put it before the vail that is by the ark of the testimony, before
the mercy seat that is over the
testimony, where I will meet with thee.
02-30:18 Thou
shalt also make a laver of brass, and
his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and
the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.
02-30:36 And
thou shalt beat some of it very
small, and put of it before the testimony in the
tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto
you most holy.
02-31:6 And
I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of
Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have
commanded thee;
02-31:14 Ye
shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is
holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
02-31:15 Six
days may work be done; but in the seventh is
the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
02-32:27 And
he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put
every man his sword by his side, and go
in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his
brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.
02-33:4 And
when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.
02-33:5 For
the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up
into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what
to do unto thee.
02-33:22 And
it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee
with my hand while I pass by:
02-34:33 And
till Moses had done speaking with
them, he put a vail on his face.
02-34:35 And
the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face
shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face
again, until he went in to speak with him.
02-35:2 Six
days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy
day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
02-35:34 And
he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of
Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.
02-36:1 Then
wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all
manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD
had commanded.
02-36:2 And
Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart
the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to
do it:
02-37:5 And
he put the staves into the rings by the sides of
the ark, to bear the ark.
02-37:13 And
he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the
rings upon the four corners that were in
the four feet thereof.
02-38:7 And
he put the staves into the rings on the sides of
the altar, to bear it withal; he made the altar hollow with boards.
02-39:7 And
he put them on the shoulders of the ephod, that they should be stones for a
memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
02-39:16 And
they made two ouches of gold, and two
gold rings; and put the two rings in the two
ends of the breastplate.
02-39:17 And
they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the
two rings on the ends of the breastplate.
02-39:18 And
the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, before
it.
02-39:19 And
they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate,
upon the border of it, which was on
the side of the ephod inward.
02-39:20 And
they made two other golden rings, and
put them on the two sides of the ephod
underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
02-39:25 And
they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of
the robe, round about between the pomegranates;
02-40:3 And
thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony,
and cover the ark with the vail.
02-40:5 And
thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the
testimony, and put the hanging of the door to
the tabernacle.
02-40:7 And
thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar,
and shalt put water therein.
02-40:13 And
thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and
anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s
office.
02-40:18 And
Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards
thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared
up his pillars.
02-40:19 And
he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put
the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.
02-40:20 And
he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set
the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat
above upon the ark:
02-40:22 And
he put the table in the tent of the
congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.
02-40:24 And
he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation,
over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
02-40:26 And
he put the golden altar in the tent of the
congregation before the vail:
02-40:29 And
he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the
tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat
offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.
02-40:30 And
he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.
03-1:4 And
he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt
offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.
03-1:7 And
the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon
the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire:
03-2:1 And
when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil
upon it, and put frankincense thereon:
03-2:15 And
thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincense
thereon: it is a meat offering.
03-4:7 And
the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense
before the LORD, which is in the
tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at
the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
03-4:18 And
he shall put some
of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in
the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the
bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
03-4:25 And
the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon
the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the
bottom of the altar of burnt offering.
03-4:30 And
the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon
the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood
thereof at the bottom of the altar.
03-4:34 And
the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon
the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood
thereof at the bottom of the altar:
03-5:11 But
if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that
sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour
for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it,
neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.
03-6:10 And
the priest shall put on his linen garment, and
his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh,
and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on
the altar, and he shall put them beside the
altar.
03-6:11 And
he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes
without the camp unto a clean place.
03-6:12 And
the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every
morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon
the fat of the peace offerings.
03-8:7 And
he put upon him the coat, and girded him with
the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put
the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and
bound it unto him therewith.
03-8:8 And
he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim.
03-8:9 And
he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the
mitre, even upon his forefront, did
he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the
LORD commanded Moses.
03-8:13 And
Moses brought Aaron’s sons, and put coats upon
them, and girded them with girdles, and put
bonnets upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses.
03-8:15 And
he slew it; and Moses took the blood,
and put it
upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the
altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to
make reconciliation upon it.
03-8:23 And
he slew it; and Moses took of the
blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron’s right ear, and upon the thumb of his
right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.
03-8:24 And
he brought Aaron’s sons, and Moses put of the
blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right
hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkled the
blood upon the altar round about.
03-8:26 And
out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was
before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread,
and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon the right shoulder:
03-8:27 And
he put all upon Aaron’s hands, and upon his
sons’ hands, and waved them for a
wave offering before the LORD.
03-9:9 And
the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the
blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the
bottom of the altar:
03-9:20 And
they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt
the fat upon the altar:
03-10:1 And
Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put
incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded
them not.
03-10:10 And
that ye may put difference between holy and
unholy, and between unclean and clean;
03-11:32 And
upon whatsoever any of them, when
they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever
vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the
even; so it shall be cleansed.
03-11:38 But
if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.
03-13:45 And
the leper in whom the plague is, his
clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put
a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.
03-14:14 And
the priest shall take some of the
blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put
it upon the tip of the right ear of
him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the
great toe of his right foot:
03-14:17 And
of the rest of the oil that is in his
hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the
right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand,
and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass
offering:
03-14:25 And
he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass
offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and
upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:
03-14:28 And
the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right
ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and
upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the
trespass offering:

the rest of the oil that is in the
priest’s hand he shall put upon the head of him
that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD.
03-14:34 When
ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I
put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land
of your possession;

he shall take other morter, and shall plaister the house.

the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take
the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace
offerings.
04-6:19 And
the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake
out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put
them upon the hands of the Nazarite,
after the hair of his separation is
shaven:
04-6:27 And
they shall put my name upon the children of
Israel; and I will bless them.
04-8:10 And

office unto you as a service of gift:

for an unclean person they shall take
of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water
shall be put thereto in a vessel:

away evil from Israel.

ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone
them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because
he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put
away evil from among you.
05-22:29 Then
the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his
wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put
her away all his days.
05-23:24 When
thou comest into thy neighbour’s vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill
at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.
05-24:7 If
a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and
maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou
shalt put evil away from among you.
05-24:16 The
fathers shall not be put to death for the
children, neither shall the children be put to
death for the fathers: every man shall be put to
death for his own sin.
05-25:6 And
it shall be, that the firstborn which
she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put
out of Israel.

thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt
bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a
basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place
his name there.

shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in

the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon

Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate
of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon
his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron.
07-16:21 But
the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes,
and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did
grind in the prison house.
07-18:7 Then
the five men departed, and came to Laish, and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless,
after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure; and there was no magistrate in the land, that might put them to
shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had no
business with any man.

ones and the cattle and the carriage before them.

therefore deliver us the men, the
children of Belial, which are in Gibeah,
that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel. But the children of
Benjamin would not hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of

the men of Israel went out to battle against Benjamin; and the men of Israel put themselves in array to fight against them at
Gibeah.
07-20:22 And
the people the men of Israel encouraged themselves, and set their battle again
in array in the place where they put themselves
in array the first day.
07-20:30 And
the children of Israel went up against the children of Benjamin on the third
day, and put themselves in array against Gibeah,
as at other times.
07-20:33 And
all the men of Israel rose up out of their place, and put
themselves in array at Baaltamar: and the liers in wait of Israel came forth
out of their places, even out of the
meadows of Gibeah.
07-21:5 And
the children of Israel said, Who is there
among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the congregation unto
the LORD? For they had made a great oath concerning him that came not up to the
LORD to Mizpeh, saying, He shall surely be put
to death.

thy self therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy
raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done

it away, that it may go.
09-6:15 And
the Levites took down the ark of the LORD, and the coffer that was with it, wherein the jewels of gold were, and put
them on the great stone: and the men of
Bethshemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices the same day unto
the LORD.
09-7:3 And
Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the
LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among
you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will
deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
09-7:4 Then
the children of Israel did put away Baalim and
Ashtaroth, and served the LORD only.
09-8:16 And
he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young
men, and your asses, and put them to his work.
09-11:11 And
it was so on the morrow, that Saul put the people in three companies; and they came into
the midst of the host in the morning watch, and slew the Ammonites until the
heat of the day: and it came to pass, that they which remained were scattered,
so that two of them were not left together.
09-11:12 And
the people said unto Samuel, Who is he
that said, Shall Saul reign over us? bring the men, that we may put them to death.
09-11:13 And
Saul said, There shall not a man be put to death
this day: for to day the LORD hath wrought salvation in Israel.
09-14:26 And
when the people were come into the wood, behold, the honey dropped; but no man put his hand to his mouth: for the people feared the
oath.
09-14:27 But
Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore
he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an
honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and
his eyes were enlightened.
09-17:21 For
Israel and the Philistines had put the battle in
array, army against army.
09-17:38 And
Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an
helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail.
09-17:39 And
David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not
proved it. And David said unto Saul,
I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.
09-17:40 And
he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the
brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag which he
had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in
his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.
09-17:49 And
David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a
stone, and slang it, and smote the
Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell
upon his face to the earth.
09-17:54 And
David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent.
09-19:5 For
he did put his life in his hand, and slew the
Philistine, and the LORD wrought a great salvation for all Israel: thou sawest it, and didst rejoice: wherefore then
wilt thou sin against innocent blood, to slay David without a cause?
09-19:13 And
Michal took an image, and laid it in
the bed, and put a pillow of goats’ hair for his bolster, and covered it with a cloth.
09-21:6 So
the priest gave him hallowed bread: for
there was no bread there but the shewbread, that was taken from before the
LORD, to put hot bread in the day when it was
taken away.
09-22:17 And
the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests
of the LORD; because their hand also is with
David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not shew it to me. But the
servants of the king would not put forth their
hand to fall upon the priests of the LORD.
09-24:10 Behold,
this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into mine
hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD’S anointed.
09-28:3 Now
Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even
in his own city. And Saul had put away those
that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.
09-28:8 And
Saul disguised himself, and put on other
raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by
night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and
bring me him up, whom I shall name
unto thee.
09-28:21 And
the woman came unto Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and said unto him,
Behold, thine handmaid hath obeyed thy voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have hearkened unto thy
words which thou spakest unto me.
09-31:10 And
they put his armour in the house of Ashtaroth:
and they fastened his body to the wall of Bethshan.
10-1:24 Ye
daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet, with other delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon your apparel.

brought gifts.

David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and
the Syrians became servants to David, and
brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
10-8:14 And
he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all they of Edom became David’s
servants. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
10-10:8 And
the children of Ammon came out, and put the
battle in array at the entering in of the gate: and the Syrians of Zoba, and of
Rehob, and Ishtob, and Maacah, were by
themselves in the field.
10-10:9 When
Joab saw that the front of the battle was against him before and behind, he
chose of all the choice men of Israel,
and put them
in array against the Syrians:
10-10:10 And
the rest of the people he delivered into the hand of Abishai his brother, that
he might put them
in array against the children of Ammon.
10-12:13 And
David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto
David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou
shalt not die.
10-12:31 And
he brought forth the people that were therein,

under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made
them pass through the brickkiln: and thus did he unto all the cities of the
children of Ammon. So David and all the people returned unto Jerusalem.

thee, feign thyself to be a mourner, and put on
now mourning apparel, and anoint not thyself with oil, but be as a woman that
had a long time mourned for the dead:

come to the king, and speak on this manner unto him. So Joab put the words in her mouth.
10-14:19 And
the king said, Is not the hand of
Joab with thee in all this? And the woman answered and said, As thy soul liveth, my lord the king,
none can turn to the right hand or to the left from ought that my lord the king
hath spoken: for thy servant Joab, he bade me, and he put
all these words in the mouth of thine handmaid:
10-15:5 And
it was so, that when any man came
nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.
10-17:23 And
when Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his ass, and arose, and gat him home to
his house, to his city, and put his household in

David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this
day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put
to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel?
10-20:3 And
David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the king took the ten women his concubines, whom he had left to keep
the house, and put them in ward, and fed them,
but went not in unto them. So they were shut up unto the day of their death,
living in widowhood.
10-20:8 When
they were at the great stone which is in Gibeon, Amasa went before them.
And Joab’s garment that he had put on was girded
unto him, and upon it a girdle with a
sword fastened upon his loins in the sheath thereof; and as he went forth it
fell out.
10-21:9 And
he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the
hill before the LORD: and they fell all seven
together, and were put to death in the days of
harvest, in the first days, in the
beginning of barley harvest.
11-2:5 Moreover
thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto
Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed
the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of
war upon his girdle that was about
his loins, and in his shoes that were on
his feet.
11-2:8 And,
behold, thou hast with thee Shimei
the son of Gera, a Benjamite of Bahurim, which cursed me with a grievous curse
in the day when I went to Mahanaim: but he came down to meet me at Jordan, and
I sware to him by the LORD, saying, I will not put
thee to death with the sword.
11-2:24 Now
therefore, as the LORD liveth, which
hath established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who hath
made me an house, as he promised, Adonijah shall be put
to death this day.
11-2:26 And
unto Abiathar the priest said the king, Get thee to Anathoth, unto thine own
fields; for thou art worthy of death:
but I will not at this time put thee to death,
because thou barest the ark of the Lord GOD before David my father, and because
thou hast been afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted.
11-2:35 And
the king put Benaiah the son of Jehoiada in his
room over the host: and Zadok the priest did the king put
in the room of Abiathar.
11-5:3 Thou
knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the
LORD his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet.
11-7:39 And
he put five bases on the right side of the
house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right
side of the house eastward over against the south.
11-7:51 So
was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And
Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the
vessels, did he put among the treasures of the
house of the LORD.
11-8:9 There was nothing in the ark save the
two tables of stone, which Moses put there at
Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with
the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
11-9:3 And
the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou
hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine
heart shall be there perpetually.
11-10:17 And
he made three hundred shields of beaten gold; three pound of gold went
to one shield: and the king put them in the
house of the forest of Lebanon.

all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.

unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light

father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the grievous service of

mother’s name was Naamah an

11-18:23 Let
them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for
themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it
on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other
bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under:

Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves,

the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into

beside the altar, on the right side as one cometh into the house of the LORD:
and the priests that kept the door put therein
all the money that was brought into
the house of the LORD.
12-12:10 And
it was so, when they saw that there was much money in the chest, that
the king’s scribe and the high priest came up, and they put up in bags, and told the money that was found in the house of
the LORD.
12-13:16 And
he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand
upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king’s hands.
12-14:6 But
the children of the murderers he slew not: according unto that which is written
in the book of the law of Moses, wherein the LORD commanded, saying, The
fathers shall not be put to death for the
children, nor the children be put to death for
the fathers; but every man shall be put to death
for his own sin.
12-14:12 And
Judah was put to the worse before Israel; and
they fled every man to their tents.

he brought also the brasen altar, which was

king Ahaz cut off the borders of the bases, and removed the laver from off

which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt.

then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master’s
servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for

kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of
Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense
unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host
of heaven.
12-23:24 Moreover
the workers with familiar spirits,
and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that
were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law
which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of
the LORD.
12-23:33 And
Pharaohnechoh put him in bands at Riblah in the
land of Hamath, that he might not reign in Jerusalem; and put the land to a tribute of an hundred talents of
silver, and a talent of gold.
12-25:7 And
they slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put
out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him with fetters of brass, and carried him
to Babylon.
13-1:8 The
sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
13-5:20 And
they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their
hand, and all that were with them:
for they cried to God in the battle, and he was intreated of them; because they
put their trust in him.
13-10:10 And
they put his armour in the house of their gods,
and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon.
13-11:19 And
said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood
of these men that have put their lives in
jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their
lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these
three mightiest.

are they that went over Jordan in the
first month, when it had overflown all his banks; and they put to flight all them

in Syriadamascus; and the Syrians became David’s servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD
preserved David whithersoever he went.

13-19:9 And
the children of Ammon came out, and put the
battle in array before the gate of the city: and the kings that were come were by themselves in the field.
13-19:10 Now
when Joab saw that the battle was set against him before and behind, he chose
out of all the choice of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians.
13-19:16 And
when the Syrians saw that they were put to the
worse before Israel, they sent messengers, and drew forth the Syrians that were beyond the river: and Shophach the
captain of the host of Hadarezer went before
them.
13-19:17 And
it was told David; and he gathered all Israel, and passed over Jordan, and came
upon them, and set the battle in
array against them. So when David had put the
battle in array against the Syrians, they fought with him.
13-19:19 And
when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put
to the worse before Israel, they made peace with David, and became his
servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more.
13-21:27 And
the LORD commanded the angel; and he put up his
sword again into the sheath thereof.
13-27:24 Joab
the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell
wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put
in the account of the chronicles of king David.
14-1:5 Moreover
the brasen altar, that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of the LORD: and Solomon and
the congregation sought unto it.
14-2:14 The
son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in
brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen,
and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every
device which shall be put to him, with thy cunning
men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father.
14-3:16 And
he made chains, as in the oracle, and
put them on
the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on
the chains.
14-4:6 He
made also ten lavers, and put five on the right
hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for
the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
14-5:1 Thus
all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished: and
Solomon brought in all the things
that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the
instruments, put he among the treasures of the
house of God.
14-5:10 There was nothing in the ark save the

in it have I put the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, that he
made with the children of Israel.

thine eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the place whereof
thou hast said that thou wouldest put thy name
there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward this place.
14-6:24 And
if thy people Israel be put to the worse before
the enemy, because they have sinned against thee; and shall return and confess
thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house;

when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took
courage, and put away the abominable idols out
of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken
from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.

into the house, he shall be put to death: but be
ye with the king when he cometh in, and when he goeth out.

they brought out the king’s son, and put upon
him the crown, and gave him the testimony,
and made him king. And Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and said, God save
the king.

Judah was put to the worse before Israel, and
they fled every man to his tent.

saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put
them upon thy neck,

nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of
Babylon, and that will not put their neck under
the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD,
with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have
consumed them by his hand.

Ebedmelech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah, Put
now these old cast clouts and rotten rags
under thine armholes under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.
24-38:15 Then
Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it
unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to
death? and if I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me?
24-38:16 So
Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, As the LORD liveth, that made us this soul, I will not put thee to death, neither will I give thee into the
hand of these men that seek thy life.
24-38:25 But
if the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and
say unto thee, Declare unto us now what thou hast said unto the king, hide it
not from us, and we will not put thee to death;
also what the king said unto thee:
24-39:7 Moreover
he put out Zedekiah’s eyes, and bound him with
chains, to carry him to Babylon.
24-39:18 For
I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life
shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put
thy trust in me, saith the LORD.
24-40:10 As
for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah, to serve the Chaldeans, which will come
unto us: but ye, gather ye wine, and summer fruits, and oil, and put them in
your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.
24-43:3 But
Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, for to deliver us into the
hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to
death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.
24-46:4 Harness
the horses; and get up, ye horsemen, and stand forth with your helmets; furbish the spears, and put on the brigandines.
24-47:6 O
thou sword of the LORD, how long will it
be ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into
thy scabbard, rest, and be still.
24-50:14 Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about:
all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned
against the LORD.
24-50:42 They
shall hold the bow and the lance: they are
cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and
they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee,
O daughter of Babylon.
24-52:11 Then
he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of
Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.
24-52:27 And
the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to
death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out
of his own land.
26-3:25 But
thou, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands
upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them:

thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and
fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make
thee bread thereof, according to the
number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety
days shalt thou eat thereof.
26-8:3 And
he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by
a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the
heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the
inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.
26-8:17 Then
he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O
son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the
abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with
violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
26-10:7 And
one cherub stretched forth his hand
from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who
took it, and went out.
26-11:19 And
I will give them one heart, and I will put a new
spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will
give them an heart of flesh:
26-14:3 Son
of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their
face: should I be enquired of at all by them?
26-16:11 I
decked thee also with ornaments, and I put
bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.
26-16:12 And
I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in
thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.
26-16:14 And
thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which
I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
26-17:2 Son
of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable
unto the house of Israel;
26-19:9 And
they put him in ward in chains, and brought him
to the king of Babylon: they brought him into holds, that his voice should no
more be heard upon the mountains of Israel.
26-22:26 Her
priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane,
neither have they shewed difference between
the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am
profaned among them.
26-23:42 And
a voice of a multitude being at ease was with
her: and with the men of the common sort were
brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put
bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.
26-24:17 Forbear
to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee,
and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover
not thy lips, and eat not the bread
of men.
26-26:16 Then
all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away
their robes, and put off their broidered
garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the
ground, and shall tremble at every moment,
and be astonished at thee.
26-29:4 But
I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause
the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out
of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy
scales.
26-30:13 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and
there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
26-30:21 Son
of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not
be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to
bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
26-30:24 And
I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put
my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh’s arms, and he shall groan
before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
26-30:25 But
I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh
shall fall down; and they shall know that I am
the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the
hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of
Egypt.
26-32:7 And
when I shall put thee out, I will cover the
heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and
the moon shall not give her light.
26-32:25 They
have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves
are round about him: all of them uncircumcised,
slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living,
yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain.
26-36:26 A
new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your
flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
26-36:27 And
I will put my spirit within you, and cause you
to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
26-37:6 And
I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you
with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall
live; and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-37:14 And
shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and
I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have
spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
26-37:19 Say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph,
which is in the hand of Ephraim, and
the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put
them with him, even with the stick of
Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
26-38:4 And
I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy
jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all
of them clothed with all sorts of armour,
even a great company with bucklers
and shields, all of them handling swords:
26-42:14 When
the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there
they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.
26-43:9 Now
let them put away their whoredom, and the
carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for
ever.
26-43:20 And
thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the
four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou
cleanse and purge it.
26-44:19 And
when they go forth into the utter court, even
into the utter court to the people, they shall put
off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers,
and they shall put on other garments; and they
shall not sanctify the people with their garments.
26-44:22 Neither
shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away: but they shall take maidens of the seed of
the house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest before.

the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put it upon
the posts of the house, and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar,
and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court.

for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled
and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive;
and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put
down.

commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a
chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he
should be the third ruler in the kingdom.

with your mother, plead: for she is not
my wife, neither am I her husband:
let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of
her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts;

keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and

Caesarea, and there abode.

Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God

this mortal must put on immortality.

immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is
swallowed up in victory.

51-3:10 And
have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that
