01-GENESIS
01-49:9 Judah
is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched
as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
01-49:27 Benjamin
shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning
he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall
divide the spoil.
04-14:3 And
wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that
our wives and our children should be a prey?
were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
04-14:31 But
your little ones, which ye said should be a prey,
them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.
04-23:24 Behold,
the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion:
he shall not lie down until he eat of the
prey, and drink the blood of the slain.
04-31:11 And
they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.
04-31:12 And
they brought the captives, and the prey, and the
spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the
children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho.
04-31:26 Take
the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, thou, and
Eleazar the priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation:
04-31:27 And
divide the prey into two parts; between them that
took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the
congregation:
04-31:32 And
the booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred
thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand sheep.
05-1:39 Moreover
your little ones, which ye said should be a prey,
and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil,
they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess
it.
05-2:35 Only
the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves,
and the spoil of the cities which we took.
05-3:7 But
all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.
06-8:2 And
thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only
the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay thee an ambush for the city
behind it.
06-8:27 Only
the cattle and the spoil of that city Israel took for a prey unto themselves, according unto the word of the LORD which he
commanded Joshua.
06-11:14 And
all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for
a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote
with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they
any to breathe.
07-5:30 Have
they not sped? have they not divided
the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey
of divers colours of needlework, of divers colours of needlework on both sides,
meet for the necks of them that take the spoil?
07-8:24 And
Gideon said unto them, I would desire a request of you, that ye would give me
every man the earrings of his prey. (For they
had golden earrings, because they were Ishmaelites.)
07-8:25 And
they answered, We will willingly give them.
And they spread a garment, and did cast therein every man the earrings of
his prey.
12-21:14 And
I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand
of their enemies; and they shall become a prey
and a spoil to all their enemies;
16-4:4 Hear,
O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head,
and give them for a prey in the land of
captivity:
17-3:13 And
the letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to
kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and
women, in one day, even upon the
thirteenth day of the twelfth month,
which is the month Adar, and to take the
spoil of them for a prey.
17-8:11 Wherein
the king granted the Jews which were in
every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to
destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and
province that would assault them, both little
ones and women, and to take the spoil
of them for a prey,
17-9:15 For
the Jews that were in Shushan gathered
themselves together on the fourteenth day also of the month Adar, and slew
three hundred men at Shushan; but on the prey
they laid not their hand.
17-9:16 But
the other Jews that were in the
king’s provinces gathered themselves together, and stood for their lives, and
had rest from their enemies, and slew of their foes seventy and five thousand,
but they laid not their hands on the prey,
18-4:11 The
old lion perisheth for lack of prey, and the
stout lion’s whelps are scattered abroad.
18-9:26 They
are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hasteth to the prey.
18-24:5 Behold,
as wild asses in the desert, go they
forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey:
the wilderness yieldeth food for them
and for their children.
18-38:39 Wilt
thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the
appetite of the young lions,
18-39:29 From
thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.
19-17:12 Like
as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret
places.
19-76:4 Thou
art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.
19-104:21 The
young lions roar after their prey, and seek
their meat from God.
19-124:6 Blessed
be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey
to their teeth.
20-23:28 She
also lieth in wait as for a prey, and increaseth the transgressors among men.
23-5:29 Their
roaring shall be like a lion, they
shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
23-10:2 To
turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of
my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
23-10:6 I
will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my
wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the
streets.
23-31:4 For
thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring
on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is
called forth against him, he will not
be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the
LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
23-33:23 Thy
tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not
spread the sail: then is the prey of a great
spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
23-42:22 But
this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes,
and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey,
and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
23-49:24 Shall
the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful
captive delivered?
23-49:25 But
thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and
the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for
I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy
children.
23-59:15 Yea,
truth faileth; and he that departeth
from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD
saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
24-21:9 He
that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the
pestilence: but he that goeth out, and falleth to the Chaldeans that besiege
you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey.
24-30:16 Therefore
all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every
one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a
spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give
for a prey.
24-38:2 Thus
saith the LORD, He that remaineth in this city shall die by the sword, by the
famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth forth to the Chaldeans shall
live; for he shall have his life for a prey, and
shall live.
24-39:18 For
I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life
shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast
put thy trust in me, saith the LORD.
24-45:5 And
seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them
not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy
life will I give unto thee for a prey in all
places whither thou goest.
26-7:21 And
I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey,
and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
26-19:3 And
she brought up one of her whelps: it became a young lion, and it learned to
catch the prey; it devoured men.
26-19:6 And
he went up and down among the lions, he became a young lion, and learned to
catch the prey, and devoured men.
26-22:25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in
the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey;
they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things;
they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.
26-22:27 Her
princes in the midst thereof are like
wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
26-26:12 And
they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey
of thy merchandise: and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy
pleasant houses: and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in
the midst of the water.
26-29:19 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her
spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the
wages for his army.
26-34:8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely
because my flock became a prey, and my flock
became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my
flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
26-34:22 Therefore
will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey;
and I will judge between cattle and cattle.
26-34:28 And
they shall no more be a prey to the heathen,
neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely,
and none shall make them afraid.
26-36:4 Therefore,
ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD
to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the
desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;
26-36:5 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken
against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have
appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to
cast it out for a prey.
26-38:12 To
take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine
hand upon the desolate places that are
now inhabited, and upon the people that
are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that
dwell in the midst of the land.
26-38:13 Sheba,
and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof,
shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy
company to take a prey? to carry away silver and
gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
27-11:24 He
shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he
shall do that which his fathers have not
done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds,
even for a time.
30-3:4 Will
a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey?
will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?
34-2:12 The
lion did tear in pieces enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses,
and filled his holes with prey, and his dens
with ravin.
34-2:13 Behold,
I am against thee, saith the LORD of
hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour
thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey
from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.
34-3:1 Woe
to the bloody city! it is all full of
lies and robbery; the prey departeth not;
36-3:8 Therefore
wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour
upon them mine indignation, even all
my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my
jealousy.

03-LEVITICUS
03-25:16 According
to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price
thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according
to the number of the years of the
fruits doth he sell unto thee.
03-25:50 And
he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him
unto the year of jubile: and the price of his
sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an
hired servant shall it be with him.
03-25:51 If
there be yet many years behind, according unto them he shall
give again the price of his redemption out of
the money that he was bought for.
03-25:52 And
if there remain but few years unto the year of jubile, then he shall count with
him, and according unto his years
shall he give him again the price of his
redemption.
05-23:18 Thou
shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price
of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
10-24:24 And
the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will
I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me
nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of
silver.
11-10:28 And
Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king’s merchants
received the linen yarn at a price.
13-21:22 Then
David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this
threshingfloor, that I may build an altar therein unto the LORD: thou shalt
grant it me for the full price: that the plague
may be stayed from the people.
13-21:24 And
king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for
the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
14-1:16 And
Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king’s merchants
received the linen yarn at a price.
18-28:13 Man
knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found
in the land of the living.
18-28:15 It
cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.
18-28:18 No
mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price
of wisdom is above rubies.
19-44:12 Thou
sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.
20-17:16 Wherefore
is there a price
in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he
hath no heart to it?
20-27:26 The
lambs are for thy clothing, and the
goats are the price of the field.
20-31:10 Who
can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
23-45:13 I
have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall
build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
23-55:1 Ho,
every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money;
come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
24-15:13 Thy
substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for
all thy sins, even in all thy borders.
38-11:12 And
I said unto them, If ye think good, give me
my price; and if not, forbear. So they
weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
38-11:13 And
the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the
thirty pieces of silver, and cast
them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
40-13:46 Who,
when he had found one pearl of great price, went
and sold all that he had, and bought it.
40-27:6 And
the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put
them into the treasury, because it is the price
of blood.
40-27:9 Then
was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they
took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of
him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;
44-5:2 And
kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it, at the apostles’ feet.
44-5:3 But
Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy
Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
44-19:19 Many
of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned
them before all men: and they counted
the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
46-6:20 For
ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God
in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
46-7:23 Ye
are bought with a price; be not ye the servants
of men.
60-3:4 But
let it be the hidden man of the
heart, in that which is not corruptible, even
the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of
great price.

44-ACTS
44-4:34 Neither
was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands
or houses sold them, and brought the prices of
the things that were sold,

19-PSALMS
19-73:21 Thus
my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my
reins.
44-ACTS
44-2:37 Now
when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the
rest of the apostles, Men and brethren,
what shall we do?
_______________________________________________________________________
26-EZEKIEL
26-28:24 And
there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the
house of Israel, nor any grieving
thorn of all that are round about
them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
_______________________________________________________________________
04-33:55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land
from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of
them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and
shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
44-9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am
Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard
for thee to kick against the pricks.
44-26:14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice
speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest
thou me? it is hard for thee to kick
against the pricks.

03-LEVITICUS
03-26:19 And
I will break the pride of your power; and I will
make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
09-1 SAMUEL
09-17:28 And
Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger
was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with
whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou
art come down that thou mightest see the battle.
14-32:26 Notwithstanding
Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his
heart, both he and the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD came not upon them in the days of
Hezekiah.
18-33:17 That
he may withdraw man from his purpose,
and hide pride from man.
18-35:12 There
they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride
of evil men.
18-41:15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
18-41:34 He
beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.
19-10:2 The
wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices
that they have imagined.
19-10:4 The
wicked, through the pride of his countenance,
will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
19-31:20 Thou
shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride
of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
19-36:11 Let
not the foot of pride come against me, and let
not the hand of the wicked remove me.
19-59:12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them
even be taken in their pride: and for cursing
and lying which they speak.
19-73:6 Therefore
pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence
covereth them as a garment.
20-8:13 The
fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the
froward mouth, do I hate.
20-11:2 When pride
cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
20-13:10 Only
by pride cometh contention: but with the well
advised is wisdom.
20-14:3 In
the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
20-16:18 Pride goeth before
destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
20-29:23 A
man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour
shall uphold the humble in spirit.
23-9:9 And
all the people shall know, even Ephraim
and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride
and stoutness of heart,
23-16:6 We
have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride,
and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.
23-23:9 The
LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride
of all glory, and to bring into
contempt all the honourable of the earth.
23-25:11 And
he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth
spreadeth forth his hands to swim:
and he shall bring down their pride together
with the spoils of their hands.
23-28:1 Woe
to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of
Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a
fading flower, which are on the head
of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!
23-28:3 The
crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall
be trodden under feet:
24-13:9 Thus
saith the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride
of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
24-13:17 But
if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride;
and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord’s flock
is carried away captive.
24-48:29 We
have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceeding
proud) his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride,
and the haughtiness of his heart.
24-49:16 Thy
terribleness hath deceived thee, and the
pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in
the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou
shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from
thence, saith the LORD.
26-7:10 Behold
the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed,
pride hath budded.
26-16:49 Behold,
this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride,
fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters,
neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
26-16:56 For
thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride,
26-30:6 Thus
saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of
Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
27-4:37 Now
I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose
works are truth, and his ways
judgment: and those that walk in pride he is
able to abase.
27-5:20 But
when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride,
he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:
28-5:5 And
the pride of Israel doth testify to his face:
therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall
fall with them.
28-7:10 And
the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and
they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.
31-OBADIAH
31-1:3 The
pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou
that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the
ground?
36-2:10 This
shall they have for their pride, because they
have reproached and magnified themselves against
the people of the LORD of hosts.
36-3:11 In
that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast
transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee
them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt
no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.
38-9:6 And
a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.
38-10:11 And
he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the
sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the
sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
38-11:3 There is a voice of the howling of the
shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions;
for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
41-7:22 Thefts,
covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
54-3:6 Not
a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he
fall into the condemnation of the devil.
62-2:16 For
all that is in the world, the lust of
the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride
of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
