01-1:9 And
God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
01-12:6 And
Abram passed through the land unto the place of
Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.
01-13:3 And
he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning,
between Bethel and Hai;
01-13:4 Unto
the place of the altar, which he had made there
at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD.
01-13:14 And
the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now
thine eyes, and look from the place where thou
art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
01-18:24 Peradventure
there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare
the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
01-18:26 And
the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will
spare all the place for their sakes.
01-18:33 And
the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham
returned unto his place.
01-19:12 And
the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons,
and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:
01-19:13 For
we will destroy this place, because the cry of
them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to
destroy it.
01-19:14 And
Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and
said, Up, get you out of this place; for the
LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in
law.
01-19:27 And
Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place
where he stood before the LORD:
01-20:11 And
Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will
slay me for my wife’s sake.
01-20:13 And
it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father’s house, that I
said unto her, This is thy kindness
which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place
whither we shall come, say of me, He is my
brother.
01-21:31 Wherefore
he called that place Beersheba; because there
they sware both of them.
01-22:3 And
Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his
young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt
offering, and rose up, and went unto the place
of which God had told him.
01-22:4 Then
on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
01-22:9 And
they came to the place which God had told him
of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound
Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
01-22:14 And
Abraham called the name of that place
Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this
day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.
01-26:7 And
the men of the place asked him of his wife; and he said, She is my sister: for he feared to say, She is my wife; lest, said
he, the men of the place should kill me for
Rebekah; because she was fair to look
upon.
01-28:11 And
he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried
there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them
for his pillows, and lay down in that place
to sleep.

Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it

none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

name of that city was called Luz at
the first.

thither were all the flocks gathered: and they rolled the stone from the well’s
mouth, and watered the sheep, and put the stone again upon the well’s mouth in
his place.
01-29:22 And
Laban gathered together all the men of the place,
and made a feast.
01-30:25 And
it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send
me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and
to my country.
01-31:55 And
early in the morning Laban rose up, and kissed his sons and his daughters, and

Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison,
the place where Joseph was bound.

within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his
hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.

02-17:7 And
he called the name of the place Massah, and
Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they
tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?
02-18:21 Moreover
thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of
truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and
rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
02-18:23 If
thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall
also go to their place in peace.
02-21:13 And
if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him
into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place
whither he shall flee.
02-23:20 Behold,
I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the
place which I have prepared.
02-26:33 And
thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither
within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you
between the holy place
and the most holy.
02-26:34 And
thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
02-28:29 And
Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of
judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the
LORD continually.
02-28:35 And
it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goeth
in unto the holy place
before the LORD, and when he cometh out, that he die not.
02-28:43 And
they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the
tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to
minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him
and his seed after him.
02-29:30 And that son that is priest in his stead
shall put them on seven days, when he cometh into the tabernacle of the
congregation to minister in the holy place.
02-29:31 And
thou shalt take the ram of the consecration, and seethe his flesh in the holy place.
02-31:11 And
the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have
commanded thee shall they do.
02-32:34 Therefore
now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine
Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit
their sin upon them.
02-33:21 And
the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
02-35:19 The
cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron
the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.
02-38:24 All
the gold that was occupied for the work in all the work of the holy place, even
the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and
thirty shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
02-39:1 And
of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do
service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as
the LORD commanded Moses.
02-39:41 The
cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest,
and his sons’ garments, to minister in the priest’s office.
03-1:16 And
he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on
the east part, by the place of the ashes:
03-4:12 Even
the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on
the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.
03-4:24 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the
LORD: it is a sin offering.
03-4:29 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin
offering in the place of the burnt offering.
03-4:33 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin
offering in the place where they kill the burnt
offering.
03-6:11 And
he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the
ashes without the camp unto a clean place.
03-6:16 And
the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unleavened bread shall
it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of
the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.
03-6:25 Speak
unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is
the law of the sin offering: In the place
where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the
LORD: it is most holy.
03-6:26 The
priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the
tabernacle of the congregation.
03-6:27 Whatsoever
shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy: and when there is sprinkled of the
blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled
in the holy place.
03-6:30 And
no sin offering, whereof any of the
blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be
burnt in the fire.
03-7:2 In
the place where they kill the burnt offering
shall they kill the trespass offering: and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle
round about upon the altar.
03-7:6 Every
male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most
holy.
03-10:13 And
ye shall eat it in the holy place, because it is thy due, and thy sons’ due, of the
sacrifices of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.
03-10:14 And
the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with
thee: for they be thy due, and thy
sons’ due, which are given out of the
sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel.
03-10:17 Wherefore
have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place,
seeing it is most holy, and God hath given it you to bear the
iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?
03-10:18 Behold,
the blood of it was not brought in within the holy place: ye should indeed have eaten
it in the holy place,
as I commanded.
03-13:19 And
in the place of the boil there be a white
rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be shewed to the
priest;
03-13:23 But
if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
03-13:28 And
if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the
priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is
an inflammation of the burning.
03-14:13 And
he shall slay the lamb in the place where he
shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the
trespass offering: it is most holy:
03-14:28 And
the priest shall put of the oil that is in
his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon
the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the
place of the blood of the trespass offering:
03-14:40 Then
the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an
unclean place without the city:
03-14:41 And
he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour
out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:
03-14:42 And
they shall take other stones, and put them
in the place of those stones; and he shall
take other morter, and shall plaister the house.
03-14:45 And
he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and
all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.
03-16:2 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all
times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which
is upon the ark; that he die not: for
I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.
03-16:3 Thus
shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering,
and a ram for a burnt offering.
03-16:16 And
he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children
of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he
do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the
midst of their uncleanness.
03-16:17 And
there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to
make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an
atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of
Israel.
03-16:20 And
when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the
congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:
03-16:23 And
Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the
linen garments, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there:
03-16:24 And
he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place,
and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the
burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the
people.
03-16:27 And
the bullock for the sin offering, and
the goat for the sin offering, whose blood
was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall one carry forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire
their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.
03-24:9 And
it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is
most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual
statute.
04-2:17 Then
the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites
in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man
in his place by their standards.
04-9:17 And
when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children
of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the
cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.
04-10:14 In
the first place
went the standard of the camp of the children of Judah according to their
armies: and over his host was Nahshon
the son of Amminadab.
04-10:29 And
Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses’ father in law,
We are journeying unto the place of which the
LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for
the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.
04-10:33 And
they departed from the mount of the LORD three days’ journey: and the ark of
the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days’ journey, to search
out a resting place for them.
04-11:3 And
he called the name of the place Taberah: because
the fire of the LORD burnt among them.
04-11:34 And
he called the name of that place
Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.
04-13:24 The
place was called the brook Eshcol, because of
the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence.
04-14:40 And
they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the
mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and
will go up unto the place which the LORD hath
promised: for we have sinned.
04-18:10 In
the most holy place
shalt thou eat it; every male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto thee.
04-18:31 And
ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your
households: for it is your reward for
your service in the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-19:9 And
a man that is clean shall gather up
the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up
without the camp in a clean place, and it shall
be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of
separation: it is a purification for
sin.
04-20:5 And
wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this
evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or
of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there
any water to drink.
04-21:3 And
the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and
they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.
04-22:26 And
the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was
no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.
04-23:3 And
Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by thy burnt offering, and I will go:
peradventure the LORD will come to meet me: and whatsoever he sheweth me I will
tell thee. And he went to an high place.
04-23:13 And
Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from whence thou mayest see them: thou shalt
see but the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them
from thence.
04-23:27 And
Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I will bring thee unto another place; peradventure it will please God that thou
mayest curse me them from thence.
04-24:11 Therefore
now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote
thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour.
04-24:25 And
Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place:
and Balak also went his way.
04-28:7 And
the drink offering thereof shall be the
fourth part of an hin for the one
lamb: in the holy place shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto the
LORD for a drink offering.
04-32:1 Now
the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of
cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that,
behold, the place was a place for cattle;
04-32:17 But
we ourselves will go ready armed before the children of Israel, until we have
brought them unto their place: and our little
ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land.
04-33:54 And
ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more
inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes
of your fathers ye shall inherit.
05-1:31 And
in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as
a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place.
05-1:33 Who
went in the way before you, to search you out a place
to pitch your tents in, in fire by
night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day.
05-2:37 Only
unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river
Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our
God forbad us.
05-9:7 Remember,
and forget not, how thou provokedst
the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst
depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.
05-11:5 And
what he did unto you in the wilderness, until ye came into this place;
05-11:24 Every
place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread
shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river
Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
05-12:3 And
ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves
with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy
the names of them out of that place.
05-12:5 But
unto the place which the LORD your God shall
choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt
come:
05-12:11 Then
there shall be a place which the LORD your God
shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that
I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the
heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the
LORD:
05-12:13 Take
heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:
05-12:14 But
in the place which the LORD shall choose in one
of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt
do all that I command thee.
05-12:18 But
thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place
which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and
thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God
in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.
05-12:21 If
the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to
put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and
of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and
thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
05-12:26 Only
thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the
place which the LORD shall choose.
05-14:23 And
thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place
which he shall choose to place his name there,
the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy
herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God
always.
05-14:24 And
if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place
be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name
there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
05-14:25 Then
shalt thou turn it into money, and bind
up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place
which the LORD thy God shall choose:
05-15:20 Thou
shalt eat it before the LORD thy God
year by year in the place which the LORD shall
choose, thou and thy household.
05-16:2 Thou
shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the flock and
the herd, in the place which the LORD shall
choose to place his name there.
05-16:6 But
at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose
to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice
the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou
camest forth out of Egypt.
05-16:7 And
thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose: and thou
shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.
05-16:11 And
thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy
daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger,
and the fatherless, and the widow, that are
among you, in the place which the LORD thy
God hath chosen to place his name there.
05-16:15 Seven
days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD
thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine
hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.
05-16:16 Three
times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of
unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles:
and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:
05-17:8 If
there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood,
between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou
arise, and get thee up into the place which the
LORD thy God shall choose;
05-17:10 And
thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the LORD shall choose shall shew thee; and
thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:
05-18:6 And
if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned,
and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place
which the LORD shall choose;
05-21:19 Then
shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the
elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
05-23:12 Thou
shalt have a place also without the camp,
whither thou shalt go forth abroad:
05-23:16 He
shall dwell with thee, even among
you, in that place which he shall choose in one
of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.
05-26:2 That
thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt
bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there.
05-26:9 And
he hath brought us into this place, and hath
given us this land, even a land that floweth
with milk and honey.
05-27:15 Cursed
be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an
abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say,

when ye came unto this place, Sihon the king of
Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us unto battle, and we
smote them:
05-31:11 When
all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law
before all Israel in their hearing.
06-1:3 Every
place that the sole of your foot shall tread
upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
06-3:3 And
they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the
LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove
from your place, and go after it.
06-4:3 And
command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests’ feet stood firm, twelve
stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.
06-4:8 And
the children of Israel did so as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones
out of the midst of Jordan, as the LORD spake unto Joshua, according to the
number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them
unto the place where they lodged, and laid them
down there.
06-4:9 And
Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests which bare the ark
of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day.
06-4:18 And
it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD
were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and
the soles of the priests’ feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the
waters of Jordan returned unto their place, and
flowed over all his banks, as they did before.
06-5:9 And
the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt
from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is
called Gilgal unto this day.
06-5:15 And
the captain of the LORD’S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy
foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
06-7:26 And
they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the LORD turned
from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.
06-8:19 And
the ambush arose quickly out of their place, and
they ran as soon as he had stretched out his hand: and they entered into the
city, and took it, and hasted and set the city on fire.
06-9:27 And
Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the
congregation, and for the altar of the LORD, even unto this day, in the place which he should choose.

when he that doth flee unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of
the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of
that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them.

the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could
find a place:
and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.

Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go
to sojourn where I may find a place.

they were by the house of Micah, they
knew the voice of the young man the Levite: and they turned in thither, and
said unto him, Who brought thee hither? and what makest thou in this place? and

ye go, ye shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God hath
given it into your hands; a place where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth.

they went up, and pitched in Kirjathjearim, in Judah: wherefore they called
that place Mahanehdan unto this day: behold, it is behind Kirjathjearim.
07-19:16 And,
behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at even, which was also of mount Ephraim; and he
sojourned in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjamites.
07-19:28 And
he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took
her up upon an ass, and the man rose

the people the men of Israel encouraged themselves, and set their battle again

on the north side of Bethel, on the east side of the highway that goeth up from

08-1:7 Wherefore
she went forth out of the place where she was,
and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto
the land of Judah.

it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and

when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth
before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.
09-5:11 So
they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said,
Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us not, and our people: for there
was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very
heavy there.
09-6:2 And
the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, What shall we
do to the ark of the LORD? tell us wherewith we shall send it to his place.
09-9:12 And
they answered them, and said, He is; behold, he is before you: make haste now, for he came to day to the city;
for there is a sacrifice of the
people to day in the high place:
09-9:13 As
soon as ye be come into the city, ye shall straightway find him, before he go
up to the high place to eat: for the people will
not eat until he come, because he doth bless the sacrifice; and afterwards they eat that be bidden.
Now therefore get you up; for about this time ye shall find him.
09-9:14 And
they went up into the city: and when
they were come into the city, behold, Samuel came out against them, for to go
up to the high place.
09-9:19 And
Samuel answered Saul, and said, I am the
seer: go up before me unto the high place; for
ye shall eat with me to day, and to morrow I will let thee go, and will tell
thee all that is in thine heart.
09-9:22 And
Samuel took Saul and his servant, and brought them into the parlour, and made
them sit in the chiefest place among them that
were bidden, which were about thirty
persons.
09-9:25 And
when they were come down from the high place
into the city, Samuel communed with
Saul upon the top of the house.
09-10:5 After
that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when
thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets
coming down from the high place with a psaltery,
and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:
09-10:12 And
one of the same place answered and said, But who
is their father? Therefore it became
a proverb, Is Saul also among the
prophets?
09-10:13 And
when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.
09-12:8 When
Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD
sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made
them dwell in this place.
09-14:9 If
they say thus unto us, Tarry until we come to you; then we will stand still in
our place, and will not go up unto them.
09-14:46 Then
Saul went up from following the Philistines: and the Philistines went to their
own place.
09-15:12 And
when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying,
Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place,
and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.
09-19:2 But
Jonathan Saul’s son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying,
Saul my father seeketh to kill thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to
thyself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thyself:
09-20:19 And
when thou hast stayed three days, then thou shalt go down quickly, and
come to the place where thou didst hide thyself
when the business was in hand, and
shalt remain by the stone Ezel.
09-20:25 And
the king sat upon his seat, as at other times, even upon a seat by the wall: and Jonathan arose, and Abner sat by
Saul’s side, and David’s place was empty.
09-20:27 And
it came to pass on the morrow, which was the
second day of the month, that David’s
place was empty: and Saul said unto Jonathan his
son, Wherefore cometh not the son of Jesse to meat, neither yesterday, nor to
day?
09-20:37 And
when the lad was come to the place of the arrow
which Jonathan had shot, Jonathan cried after the lad, and said, Is not the arrow beyond thee?
09-20:41 And as soon as the lad was gone, David
arose out of a place
toward the south, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed himself
three times: and they kissed one another, and wept one with another, until
David exceeded.
09-21:2 And
David said unto Ahimelech the priest, The king hath commanded me a business,
and hath said unto me, Let no man know any thing of the business whereabout I
send thee, and what I have commanded thee: and I have appointed my servants to such and such a place.
09-23:22 Go,
I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his place
where his haunt is, and who hath seen
him there: for it is told me that he
dealeth very subtilly.
09-23:28 Wherefore
Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines:
therefore they called that place
Selahammahlekoth.
09-26:5 And
David arose, and came to the place where Saul
had pitched: and David beheld the place where
Saul lay, and Abner the son of Ner, the captain of his host: and Saul lay in the
trench, and the people pitched round about him.
09-26:25 Then
Saul said to David, Blessed be thou,
my son David: thou shalt both do great things,
and also shalt still prevail. So David went on his way, and Saul returned
to his place.
09-27:5 And
David said unto Achish, If I have now found grace in thine eyes, let them give
me a place in some town in the country, that I
may dwell there: for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee?
09-29:4 And
the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the
Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his

not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for

they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow’s side; so they fell down together:
wherefore that place was called Helkathhazzurim,
which is in Gibeon.
10-2:23 Howbeit
he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear
smote him under the fifth rib, that
the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place
where Asahel fell down and died stood still.
10-5:20 And
David came to Baalperazim, and David smote them there, and said, The LORD hath
broken forth upon mine enemies before me, as the breach of waters. Therefore he
called the name of that place Baalperazim.
10-6:8 And
David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he
called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this
day.
10-6:17 And
they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place,
in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered
burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
10-7:10 Moreover
I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and
will plant them, that they may dwell in a place
of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness
afflict them any more, as beforetime,

Absalom in his lifetime had taken and reared up for himself a pillar, which is in the king’s dale: for he said, I
have no son to keep my name in remembrance: and he called the pillar after his
own name: and it is called unto this day, Absalom’s place.
10-19:39 And
all the people went over Jordan. And when the king was come over, the king
kissed Barzillai, and blessed him; and he returned unto his own place.
10-22:20 He
brought me forth also into a large place: he
delivered me, because he delighted in me.
10-23:7 But
the man that shall touch them must be
fenced with iron and the staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned
with fire in the same place.
11-3:4 And
the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand
burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.
11-4:12 Baana
the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach
and Megiddo, and all Bethshean, which is by
Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:
11-4:28 Barley
also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the
officers were, every man according to his charge.

the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under
the wings of the cherubims.
11-8:7 For
the cherubims spread forth their two
wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims
covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
11-8:8 And
they drew out the staves, that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy
place before
the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are unto this day.
11-8:10 And
it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that
the cloud filled the house of the LORD,
11-8:13 I
have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place
for thee to abide in for ever.
11-8:21 And
I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, which he
made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.
11-8:29 That
thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou
hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer
which thy servant shall make toward this place.
11-8:30 And
hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when
they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou
in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou
hearest, forgive.
11-8:35 When
heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee;
if they pray toward this place, and confess thy
name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:
11-8:39 Then
hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and
forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou
knowest; (for thou, even thou only,
knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)
11-8:43 Hear
thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do
according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the
earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do
thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have
builded, is called by thy name.
11-8:49 Then
hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,
11-10:19 The
throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round behind: and there
were stays on either side on the place of
the seat, and two lions stood beside the stays.

did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the
abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before
Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.

camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the LORD did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy
carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.
11-20:24 And
do this thing, Take the kings away, every man out of his place, and put captains in their rooms:
11-21:19 And
thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and
also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD,

the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne,
having put on their robes, in a void place in
the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before

Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely
come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike
his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.

us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us
make us a place there, where we may dwell. And

the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants,

I now come up without the LORD against this place
to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.
12-22:16 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place,
and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all
the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:
12-22:17 Because
they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might
provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall
be kindled against this place, and shall not be
quenched.
12-22:19 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the LORD, when thou
heardest what I spake against this place, and
against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a
curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.
12-22:20 Behold
therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into
thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will
bring upon this place. And they brought the king
word again.
12-23:15 Moreover
the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place
which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that
altar and the high place he brake down, and
burned the high place, and stamped it small to
powder, and burned the grove.
13-6:32 And
they ministered before the dwelling place of the
tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house
of the LORD in Jerusalem: and then they
waited on their office according to their order.
13-6:49 But
Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the
altar of incense, and were appointed for
all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for
Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
13-13:11 And
David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore
that place is called Perezuzza to this day.
13-14:11 So
they came up to Baalperazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God
hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of
waters: therefore they called the name of that place
Baalperazim.
13-15:1 And
David made him houses in the city of
David, and prepared a place for the ark of God,
and pitched for it a tent.
13-15:3 And
David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the
LORD unto his place, which he had prepared for
it.
13-15:12 And
said unto them, Ye are the chief of
the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD
God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.
13-16:27 Glory
and honour are in his presence;
strength and gladness are in his place.
13-16:39 And
Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the
LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,
13-17:9 Also
I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and
will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place,
and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them
any more, as at the beginning,
13-21:22 Then
David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshingfloor, that I may build an
altar therein unto the LORD: thou shalt grant it me for the full price: that
the plague may be stayed from the people.
13-21:25 So
David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred
shekels of gold by weight.
13-21:29 For
the tabernacle of the LORD, which Moses made in the wilderness, and the altar
of the burnt offering, were at that
season in the high place at Gibeon.
13-23:32 And
that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the
charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their
brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD.
13-28:11 Then
David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses
thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and
of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place
of the mercy seat,
14-1:3 So
Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at
Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses
the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness.
14-1:4 But
the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjathjearim to the place which David had prepared
for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.
14-1:13 Then
Solomon came from his journey to the
high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the
congregation, and reigned over Israel.
14-3:1 Then
Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah,
where the Lord appeared unto David
his father, in the place that David had prepared
in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
14-4:22 And
the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the
house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of
the temple, were of gold.
14-5:7 And
the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under
the wings of the cherubims:
14-5:8 For
the cherubims spread forth their wings
over the place of the ark, and the cherubims
covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
14-5:11 And
it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for
all the priests that were present
were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:
14-6:2 But
I have built an house of habitation for thee, and a place
for thy dwelling for ever.
14-6:20 That
thine eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the place whereof thou hast said that thou wouldest put
thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward
this place.
14-6:21 Hearken
therefore unto the supplications of thy servant, and of thy people Israel,
which they shall make toward this place: hear
thou from thy dwelling place, even from heaven; and when thou hearest,
forgive.
14-6:26 When
the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against
thee; yet if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin,
when thou dost afflict them;
14-6:30 Then
hear thou from heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive,
and render unto every man according unto all his ways, whose heart thou
knowest; (for thou only knowest the hearts of the children of men:)
14-6:33 Then
hear thou from the heavens, even from
thy dwelling place, and do according to all that
the stranger calleth to thee for; that all people of the earth may know thy
name, and fear thee, as doth thy
people Israel, and may know that this house which I have built is called by thy
name.
14-6:39 Then
hear thou from the heavens, even from
thy dwelling place, their prayer and their
supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive thy people which have
sinned against thee.
14-6:40 Now,
my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent
unto the prayer that is made in this place.
14-6:41 Now
therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place,
thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with
salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.
14-7:12 And
the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy
prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for
an house of sacrifice.
14-7:15 Now
mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
14-9:18 And
there were six steps to the throne,
with a footstool of gold, which were fastened
to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place,
and two lions standing by the stays:
14-18:9 And
the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his
throne, clothed in their robes, and
they sat in a void place at the entering in of
the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.
14-20:26 And
on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there
they blessed the LORD: therefore the name of the same place
was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.
14-24:11 Now
it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought unto the king’s office
by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king’s scribe and the high priest’s
officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered
money in abundance.
14-29:5 And
said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the
house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of
the holy place.
14-29:7 Also
they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not
burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.
14-30:16 And
they stood in their place after their manner,
according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of the
Levites.
14-30:27 Then
the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was
heard, and their prayer came up to
his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.
14-34:24 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place,
and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all
the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of
Judah:
14-34:25 Because
they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might
provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall
be poured out upon this place, and shall not be
quenched.
14-34:27 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou
heardest his words against this place, and
against the inhabitants thereof, and humbledst thyself before me, and didst
rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard thee also, saith the LORD.
14-34:28 Behold,
I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in
peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So they
brought the king word again.
14-34:31 And
the king stood in his place, and made a covenant
before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments, and his
testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to
perform the words of the covenant which are written in this book.
14-35:5 And
stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the families of the fathers
of your brethren the people, and after the
division of the families of the Levites.
14-35:10 So
the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites in their courses, according to
the king’s commandment.
14-35:15 And
the singers the sons of Asaph were in
their place, according to the commandment of
David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king’s seer; and the porters waited at every gate; they might not
depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.
14-36:15 And
the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up
betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his
dwelling place:
15-1:4 And
whosoever remaineth in any place where he
sojourneth, let the men of his place help him
with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the
freewill offering for the house of God that is
in Jerusalem.
15-2:68 And
some of the chief of the fathers,
when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up
in his place:
15-5:15 And
said unto him, Take these vessels, go, carry them into the temple that is in Jerusalem, and let the house of
God be builded in his place.
15-6:3 In
the first year of Cyrus the king the same
Cyrus the king made a decree concerning
the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the
foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore
cubits;
15-6:5 And
also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which
Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, be restored, and brought
again unto the temple which is at
Jerusalem, every one to his place, and place them in the house of God.
15-6:7 Let
the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the
elders of the Jews build this house of God in his place.
15-8:17 And
I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at
the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto
us ministers for the house of our God.
15-9:8 And
now for a little space grace hath been shewed
from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a
nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten
our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.
16-1:9 But
if ye turn unto me, and keep my
commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost
part of the heaven, yet will I gather
them from thence, and will bring them unto the place
that I have chosen to set my name there.
16-2:3 And
said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance
be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers’
sepulchres, lieth waste, and the
gates thereof are consumed with fire?
16-2:14 Then
I went on to the gate of the fountain, and to the king’s pool: but there was no place
for the beast that was under me to
pass.

him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Bethzur,

of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force
the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king’s
mouth, they covered Haman’s face.

shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the
heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be
brought low.

behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to
punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall
disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

all tables are full of vomit and filthiness,

also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail

there the glorious LORD will be unto
us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall

bear him upon the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place, and he standeth; from his place shall he not remove: yea, one shall cry unto him, yet can he not answer, nor save him out of
his trouble.

bring near my righteousness: it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall
not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion
for Israel my glory.

children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again
in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to
me that I may dwell.

the place of thy tent, and let them stretch
forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and

unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters:

go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at
the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

will I do unto this house, which is
called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place
which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.
24-7:20 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out
upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and
upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall
burn, and shall not be quenched.
24-7:32 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet,
nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they
shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.
24-9:2 Oh
that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of
wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous
men.
24-13:7 Then
I went to Euphrates, and digged, and took the girdle from the place where I had hid it: and, behold, the girdle was
marred, it was profitable for nothing.
24-14:13 Then
said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the
sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.

shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place.

thus saith the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are

days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the
bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.

glorious high throne from the beginning is
the place of our sanctuary.
24-18:14 Will
a man leave the snow of Lebanon which cometh from the rock of the field?
or shall the cold flowing waters that
come from another place be forsaken?
24-19:3 And
say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of
Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will
bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever
heareth, his ears shall tingle.
24-19:4 Because
they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place,
and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their
fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;
24-19:6 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that this place
shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The
valley of slaughter.
24-19:7 And
I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword
before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their
carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts
of the earth.
24-19:11 And
shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this
people and this city, as one breaketh
a potter’s vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no place
to bury.
24-19:12 Thus
will I do unto this place, saith the LORD, and
to the inhabitants thereof, and even make
this city as Tophet:
24-19:13 And
the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled
as the place of Tophet, because of all the
houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and
have poured out drink offerings unto other gods.
24-22:3 Thus
saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled
out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the
stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.
24-22:11 For
thus saith the LORD touching Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which
reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more:
24-22:12 But
he shall die in the place whither they have led
him captive, and shall see this land no more.
24-24:5 Thus
saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge
them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
24-27:22 They
shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit
them, saith the LORD; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.
24-28:3 Within
two full years will I bring again into this place
all the vessels of the LORD’S house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took
away from this place, and carried them to
Babylon:
24-28:4 And
I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the
son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into
Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
24-28:6 Even
the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words
which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD’S house, and
all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.
24-29:10 For
thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will
visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to
this place.
24-29:14 And
I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity,
and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I
have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
24-32:37 Behold,
I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine
anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto
this place, and I will cause them to dwell
safely:
24-33:10 Thus
saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place,
which ye say shall be desolate
without man and without beast, even in
the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate,
without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
24-33:12 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place,
which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof,
shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their
flocks to lie down.
24-38:9 My
lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah
the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die for
hunger in the place where he is: for there is no more bread in the city.
24-40:2 And
the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said unto him, The LORD thy God
hath pronounced this evil upon this place.
24-42:18 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath
been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured
forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration,
and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more.
24-42:22 Now
therefore know certainly that ye shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by
the pestilence, in the place whither ye desire
to go and to sojourn.
24-44:29 And
this shall be a sign unto you, saith
the LORD, that I will punish you in this place,
that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:
24-51:62 Then
shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place,
to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it
shall be desolate for ever.
26-3:12 Then
the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place.
26-6:13 Then
shall ye know that I am the LORD,
when their slain men shall be among
their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of
the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their
idols.
26-7:22 My
face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for
the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
26-10:11 When
they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but
to the place whither the head looked they
followed it; they turned not as they went.

thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing, and remove by day in their
sight; and thou shalt remove from thy place to

in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;
26-16:39 And
I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they
shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave
thee naked and bare.
26-17:16 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in
the place where
the king dwelleth that made him
king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.
26-20:29 Then
I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name thereof is called
Bamah unto this day.
26-21:19 Also,
thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon
may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it
at the head of the way to the city.
26-21:30 Shall
I cause it to return into his sheath?
I will judge thee in the place where thou wast
created, in the land of thy nativity.
26-26:5 It
shall be a place
for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall
become a spoil to the nations.
26-26:14 And
I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou
shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I

I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant

thou shalt come from thy place out of the north
parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great
company, and a mighty army:
26-39:11 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that I
will give unto Gog a place there of graves in
Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop
the noses of the passengers: and
there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog.
26-41:4 So
he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits,
before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy place.
26-41:9 The
thickness of the wall, which was for
the side chamber without, was five
cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side chambers
that were within.
26-41:11 And
the doors of the side chambers were toward
the place
that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the
south: and the breadth of the place that was
left was five cubits round about.
26-41:12 Now
the building that was before the
separate place at the end toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall
of the building was five cubits thick
round about, and the length thereof ninety cubits.
26-41:13 So
he measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, an hundred
cubits long;
26-41:14 Also
the breadth of the face of the house, and of the separate place toward the east, an hundred cubits.
26-41:15 And
he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind
it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, an hundred
cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court;
26-42:1 Then
he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he
brought me into the chamber that was over
against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the
north.
26-42:10 The
chambers were in the thickness of the
wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.
26-42:13 Then
said he unto me, The north chambers and the
south chambers, which are before the
separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD
shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and
the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.
26-42:14 When
the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into
the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister;
for they are holy; and shall put on
other garments, and shall approach to those
things which are for the people.
26-42:20 He
measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to
make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
26-43:7 And
he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my
throne, and the place of the soles of my feet,
where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy
name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the
carcases of their kings in their high places.
26-43:13 And
these are the measures of the altar
after the cubits: The cubit is a
cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall
be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge
thereof round about shall be a span:
and this shall be the higher place of the altar.
26-43:21 Thou
shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed
place of the house, without the sanctuary.
26-44:13 And
they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to
come near to any of my holy things, in the most holy place: but they shall bear their
shame, and their abominations which they have committed.
26-45:3 And
of this measure shalt thou measure the length of five and twenty thousand, and
the breadth of ten thousand: and in it shall be the sanctuary and the most holy place.
26-45:4 The
holy portion of the land shall be for
the priests the ministers of the sanctuary, which shall come near to minister
unto the LORD: and it shall be a place for their
houses, and an holy place for the sanctuary.
26-46:19 After
he brought me through the entry, which was
at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers of the priests, which
looked toward the north: and, behold, there was
a place on the two sides westward.
26-46:20 Then
said he unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass
offering and the sin offering, where they shall bake the meat offering; that
they bear them not out into the utter
court, to sanctify the people.
26-47:10 And
it shall come to pass, that the
fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to
spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of
the great sea, exceeding many.
26-48:15 And
the five thousand, that are left in the breadth over against the five and
twenty thousand, shall be a profane place for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs:
and the city shall be in the midst thereof.
27-2:35 Then
was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces
together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind
carried them away, that no place was found for
them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled
the whole earth.
27-8:11 Yea,
he magnified himself even to the
prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice
was taken away, and the place of his
sanctuary was cast down.
27-11:31 And
arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength,
and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and
they shall place the abomination that maketh
desolate.
28-1:10 Yet
the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which
cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place
where it was said unto them, Ye are not
my people, there it shall be said
unto them, Ye are the sons of the
living God.
28-4:16 For
Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a
lamb in a large place.
28-5:15 I
will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek
my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
28-9:13 Ephraim,
as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a
pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth
his children to the murderer.

shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria:
and I will place them in their houses, saith the
LORD.
28-13:13 The
sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the
breaking forth of children.
29-3:7 Behold,
I will raise them out of the place whither ye
have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:

the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every
place; they shall cast them forth with silence.

behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place,
and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax
before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.

with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.
34-3:17 Thy
crowned are as the locusts, and thy
captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they flee away,

will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of
Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the
name of the Chemarims with the priests;

LORD will be terrible unto them: for
he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place,
even all the isles of the heathen.
36-2:15 This
is the rejoicing city that dwelt
carelessly, that said in her heart, I am,
and there is none beside me: how
is she become a desolation, a place for beasts
to lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.
37-2:9 The
glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD
of hosts: and in this place will I give peace,

that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the
wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people
round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be
inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
38-14:10 All
the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and
it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place,
from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first
gate, unto the corner gate, and from the
tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.
39-1:11 For
from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and
in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith
the LORD of hosts.
40-8:32 And
he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of
swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
40-9:24 He
said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not
dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.
40-12:6 But
I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
40-14:13 When
Jesus heard of it, he departed thence
by ship into a desert place apart: and when the
people had heard thereof, they
followed him on foot out of the cities.
40-14:15 And
when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude
away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
40-14:35 And
when the men of that place had knowledge of him,
they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that
were diseased;
40-17:20 And
Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If
ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain,
Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall
remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
40-24:15 When
ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso
readeth, let him understand:)
40-26:36 Then
cometh Jesus with them unto a place called
Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray
yonder.

said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place:

when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as
John also taught his disciples.

man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it
in a secret place, neither under a bushel,
but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
42-14:9 And
he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.
42-16:28 For
I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into
this place of torment.
42-19:5 And
when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw
him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must
abide at thy house.

out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and
the law, and this place: and further brought
Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.

on the morrow, when Agrippa was come, and Bernice, with great pomp, and was

58-4:4 For
he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the
seventh day from all his works.
58-4:5 And
in this place
again, If they shall enter into my rest.
58-5:6 As
he saith also in another place, Thou art
a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
58-8:7 For
if that first covenant had been
faultless, then should no place have been sought
for the second.
