O,106 one
01-1:9 And
God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
01-2:21 And
the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead
thereof;
01-2:24 Therefore
shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife:
and they shall be one flesh.
01-3:6 And
when the woman saw that the tree was good
for food, and that it was pleasant to
the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did
eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
01-3:22 And
the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one
of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take
also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
01-4:14 Behold,
thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face
shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it
shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
01-4:19 And
Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one
was Adah, and the name of the other
Zillah.
01-10:5 By
these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their
nations.
01-10:8 And
Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one
in the earth.
01-10:25 And
unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth
divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
01-11:1 And
the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
01-11:3 And
they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick,
and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for
morter.
01-11:6 And
the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one
language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from
them, which they have imagined to do.
01-11:7 Go
to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not
understand one another’s speech.
01-13:11 Then
Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they
separated themselves the one from the other.
01-14:13 And
there came one that had escaped, and told Abram
the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol,
and brother of Aner: and these were confederate
with Abram.
01-15:3 And
Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
01-15:10 And
he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.
01-19:9 And
they said, Stand back. And they said again,
This one fellow
came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse
with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the
door.
01-19:14 And
Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and
said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But
he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in
law.
01-19:20 Behold
now, this city is near to flee unto,
and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my
soul shall live.
01-21:15 And
the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.
01-22:2 And
he said, Take now thy son, thine only son
Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer
him there for a burnt offering upon one of the
mountains which I will tell thee of.
01-24:41 Then
shalt thou be clear from this my
oath, when thou comest to my kindred; and if they give not thee one, thou
shalt be clear from my oath.
01-25:23 And
the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in
thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people
shall be stronger than the other people;
and the elder shall serve the younger.
01-26:10 And
Abimelech said, What is this thou
hast done unto us? one of the people might
lightly have lien with thy wife, and thou shouldest have brought guiltiness
upon us.
01-26:26 Then
Abimelech went to him from Gerar, and Ahuzzath one
of his friends, and Phichol the chief captain of his army.
01-26:31 And
they rose up betimes in the morning, and sware one
to another: and Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.
01-27:29 Let
people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and
let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and
blessed be he that blesseth thee.
01-27:38 And
Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one
blessing, my father? bless me, even me
also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.
01-27:45 Until
thy brother’s anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee
from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?
01-30:33 So
shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my
hire before thy face: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the
goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me.
01-30:35 And
he removed that day the he goats that were ringstraked and spotted, and all the
she goats that were speckled and spotted, and
every one that had some white in it, and all the brown among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons.
01-31:49 And
Mizpah; for he said, The LORD watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another.
01-32:8 And
said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite
it, then the other company which is left shall escape.
01-33:13 And
he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive
them one day, all the flock will die.
01-34:14 And
they said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us:
01-34:16 Then
will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take your daughters to us, and
we will dwell with you, and we will become one
people.
01-34:22 Only
herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as
they are circumcised.
01-37:19 And
they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer
cometh.
01-38:28 And
it came to pass, when she travailed, that the
one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet
thread, saying, This came out first.
01-40:5 And
they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of
his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison.
01-41:5 And
he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up
upon one stalk, rank and good.
01-41:11 And
we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we
dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.
01-41:22 And
I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one
stalk, full and good:
01-41:25 And
Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what
he is about to do.
01-41:26 The
seven good kine are seven years; and
the seven good ears are seven years:
the dream is one.
01-41:38 And
Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such
a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?
01-42:1 Now
when Jacob saw that there was corn in Egypt, Jacob said unto his sons, Why do
ye look one upon another?
01-42:11 We
are all one
man’s sons; we are true men, thy servants are no spies.
01-42:13 And
they said, Thy servants are twelve
brethren, the sons of one man in the land of
Canaan; and, behold, the youngest is this
day with our father, and one is not.
01-42:16 Send
one of you, and let him fetch your brother, and
ye shall be kept in prison, that your words may be proved, whether there be any truth in you: or else by
the life of Pharaoh surely ye are spies.
01-42:19 If
ye be true men, let one of your brethren be
bound in the house of your prison: go ye, carry corn for the famine of your
houses:
01-42:21 And
they said one to another, We are verily guilty concerning our
brother, in that we saw the anguish of his soul, when he besought us, and we
would not hear; therefore is this distress come upon us.
01-42:27 And
as one of them opened his sack to give his ass
provender in the inn, he espied his money; for, behold, it was in his sack’s mouth.
01-42:28 And
he said unto his brethren, My money is restored; and, lo, it is even in my sack: and their heart failed them, and they were afraid, saying one
to another, What is this that God hath done unto us?
01-42:32 We
be twelve brethren, sons of our
father; one is
not, and the youngest is this day
with our father in the land of Canaan.
01-42:33 And
the man, the lord of the country, said unto us, Hereby shall I know that ye are true men; leave one of your brethren here with me, and take food for the famine of your households,
and be gone:
01-43:33 And
they sat before him, the firstborn according to his birthright, and the
youngest according to his youth: and the men marvelled one
at another.
01-44:20 And
we said unto my lord, We have a father, an old man, and a child of his old age,
a little one; and his brother is dead, and he
alone is left of his mother, and his father loveth him.
01-44:28 And
the one went out from me, and I said, Surely he
is torn in pieces; and I saw him not since:
01-47:21 And
as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even
to the other end thereof.
01-48:1 And
it came to pass after these things, that one told Joseph, Behold, thy father is sick: and he took with him his two
sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.
01-48:2 And
one told
Jacob, and said, Behold, thy son Joseph cometh unto thee: and Israel
strengthened himself, and sat upon the bed.
01-48:22 Moreover
I have given to thee one portion above thy
brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my
bow.
01-49:16 Dan
shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of
Israel.
01-49:28 All
these are the twelve tribes of
Israel: and this is it that their
father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one
according to his blessing he blessed them.
02-1:15 And
the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah,
and the name of the other Puah:
02-2:6 And
when she had opened it, she saw the
child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said,
This is one
of the Hebrews’ children.
02-2:11 And
it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his
brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an
Hebrew, one of his brethren.
02-6:25 And
Eleazar Aaron’s son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she
bare him Phinehas: these are the
heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.
02-8:31 And
the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his
servants, and from his people; there remained not one.
02-9:6 And
the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of
the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.
02-9:7 And
Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of
the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and
he did not let the people go.
02-10:5 And
they shall cover the face of the earth, that one
cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which
is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree
which groweth for you out of the field:
02-10:19 And
the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and
cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one
locust in all the coasts of Egypt.
02-10:23 They
saw not one another, neither rose any from his place
for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
02-11:1 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one
plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon
Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out
hence altogether.
02-12:18 In
the first month, on the fourteenth
day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
02-12:30 And
Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians;
and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there
was not a house where there was not
one dead.
02-12:46 In
one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not
carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break
a bone thereof.
02-12:48 And
when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the
LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it;
and he shall be as one that is born in the land:
for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
02-12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the
stranger that sojourneth among you.
02-14:7 And
he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and
captains over every one of them.
02-14:20 And
it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a
cloud and darkness to them, but it
gave light by night to these: so that
the one came not near the other all the night.
02-14:28 And
the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came
into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one
of them.
02-16:15 And
when the children of Israel saw it, they
said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.
02-16:22 And
it came to pass, that on the sixth
day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one
man: and all the rulers of the
congregation came and told Moses.
02-17:12 But
Moses’ hands were heavy; and they
took a stone, and put it under him,
and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side,
and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down
of the sun.
02-18:3 And
her two sons; of which the name of the one was Gershom; for he said, I have been an
alien in a strange land:
02-18:16 When
they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.
02-21:18 And
if men strive together, and one smite another
with a stone, or with his fist, and
he die not, but keepeth his bed:
02-21:35 And
if one man’s ox hurt another’s, that he die;
then they shall sell the live ox, and divide the money of it; and the dead ox also they shall divide.
02-23:29 I
will not drive them out from before thee in one
year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply
against thee.
02-24:3 And
Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the
judgments: and all the people answered with one
voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.
02-25:12 And
thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one
side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
02-25:19 And
make one cherub on the one
end, and the other cherub on the other end: even
of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
02-25:20 And
the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings
on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one
to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
02-25:32 And
six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the
candlestick out of the one side, and three
branches of the candlestick out of the other side:
02-25:33 Three
bowls made like unto almonds, with a
knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls
made like almonds in the other branch, with
a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the
candlestick.
02-25:36 Their
knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.
02-26:2 The
length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure.
02-26:3 The
five curtains shall be coupled together one to
another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.
02-26:4 And
thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one
curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the
uttermost edge of another curtain, in
the coupling of the second.
02-26:5 Fifty
loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and
fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that
the loops may take hold one of another.
02-26:6 And
thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the
taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.
02-26:8 The
length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one
curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure.
02-26:10 And
thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one
curtain that is outmost in the
coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.
02-26:11 And
thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and
couple the tent together, that it may be one.
02-26:13 And
a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the
other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent,
it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side,
to cover it.
02-26:16 Ten
cubits shall be the length of a
board, and a cubit and a half shall be the
breadth of one board.
02-26:17 Two
tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one
against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
02-26:19 And
thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets
under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets
under another board for his two tenons.
02-26:21 And
their forty sockets of silver; two
sockets under one board, and two sockets under
another board.
02-26:24 And
they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together
above the head of it unto one ring: thus shall
it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.
02-26:25 And
they shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
02-26:26 And
thou shalt make bars of shittim wood;
five for the boards of the one side of the
tabernacle,
02-27:9 And
thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred
cubits long for one side:
02-27:14 The
hangings of one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their
sockets three.
02-28:10 Six
of their names on one stone, and the other six names of the rest on the
other stone, according to their birth.
02-28:21 And
the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according
to their names, like the engravings
of a signet; every one with his name shall they
be according to the twelve tribes.
02-29:1 And
this is the thing that thou shalt do
unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest’s office: Take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish,
02-29:3 And
thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring
them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.
02-29:15 Thou
shalt also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons
shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.
02-29:23 And
one loaf of bread, and one
cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the
basket of the unleavened bread that is before
the LORD:
02-29:39 The
one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and
the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:
02-29:40 And
with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled
with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of
wine for a drink offering.
02-30:13 This
they shall give, every one that passeth among
them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a
shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half
shekel shall be the offering of the
LORD.
02-30:14 Every
one that passeth among them that are numbered,
from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.
02-31:14 Ye
shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is
holy unto you: every one that defileth it
shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
02-32:15 And
Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony
were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the
one side and on the other were they written.
02-33:7 And
Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the
camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one
which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.
02-34:15 Lest
thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring
after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his
sacrifice;
02-35:21 And
they came, every one whose heart stirred him up,
and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD’S offering to
the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and
for the holy garments.
02-35:24 Every
one that did offer an offering of silver and
brass brought the Lord’s offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim
wood for any work of the service, brought it.
02-36:2 And
Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart
the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work
to do it:
02-36:9 The
length of one curtain was twenty and eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: the curtains were all of one
size.
02-36:10 And
he coupled the five curtains one unto another:
and the other five curtains he
coupled one unto another.
02-36:11 And
he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain
from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the uttermost side of another curtain, in the coupling of the
second.
02-36:12 Fifty
loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops
made he in the edge of the curtain which was
in the coupling of the second: the loops held one
curtain to another.
02-36:13 And
he made fifty taches of gold, and coupled the curtains one
unto another with the taches: so it became one
tabernacle.
02-36:15 The
length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain: the
eleven curtains were of one size.
02-36:18 And
he made fifty taches of brass to
couple the tent together, that it might be one.
02-36:21 The
length of a board was ten cubits, and
the breadth of a board one cubit and a half.
02-36:22 One board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards
of the tabernacle.
02-36:24 And
forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under
another board for his two tenons.
02-36:26 And
their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one
board, and two sockets under another board.
02-36:29 And
they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the
corners.
02-36:31 And
he made bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
02-36:33 And
he made the middle bar to shoot through the boards from the one end to the other.
02-37:3 And
he cast for it four rings of gold, to be
set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of
it.
02-37:6 And
he made the mercy seat of pure gold:
two cubits and a half was the length
thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth
thereof.
02-37:7 And
he made two cherubims of gold, beaten
out of one piece made he them, on the two ends
of the mercy seat;
02-37:8 One cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub
on the other end on that side: out of
the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
02-37:9 And
the cherubims spread out their wings
on high, and covered with their wings
over the mercy seat, with their faces one to
another; even to the mercy seatward
were the faces of the cherubims.
02-37:18 And
six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick
out of the one side thereof, and three branches
of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:
02-37:19 Three
bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one
branch, a knop and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another
branch, a knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the
candlestick.
02-37:22 Their
knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold.
02-38:14 The
hangings of the one side of the gate were fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their
sockets three.
02-38:26 A
bekah for every man, that is, half a shekel,
after the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one
that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred
thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men.
02-39:14 And
the stones were according to the
names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.
03-4:27 And
if any one of the common people sin through
ignorance, while he doeth somewhat
against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
03-5:4 Or
if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips
to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it
be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he
knoweth of it, then he shall be
guilty in one of these.
03-5:5 And
it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of
these things, that he shall confess
that he hath sinned in that thing:
03-5:7 And
if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which
he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt
offering.
03-5:13 And
the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath
sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven
him: and the remnant shall be the
priest’s, as a meat offering.
03-6:18 All
the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the
offerings of the LORD made by fire: every one
that toucheth them shall be holy.
03-7:7 As
the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one
law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.
03-7:10 And
every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron
have, one as
much as another.
03-7:14 And
of it he shall offer one out of the whole
oblation for an heave offering unto
the LORD, and it shall be the
priest’s that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.
03-8:26 And
out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was
before the LORD, he took one unleavened
cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer,
and put them on the fat, and upon the
right shoulder:
03-11:26 The carcases of every beast which
divideth the hoof, and is not
clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean
unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be
unclean.
03-12:8 And
if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two
young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering,
and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for
her, and she shall be clean.
03-13:2 When
a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and
it be in the skin of his flesh like the
plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:
03-14:5 And
the priest shall command that one of the birds be
killed in an earthen vessel over running water:
03-14:10 And
on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and
three tenth deals of fine flour for a
meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of
oil.
03-14:12 And
the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him
for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:
03-14:21 And
if he be poor, and cannot get so
much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to
make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of
fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil;
03-14:22 And
two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt
offering.
03-14:30 And
he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of
the young pigeons, such as he can get;
03-14:31 Even such as he is able to get, the one for a
sin offering, and the other for a
burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement
for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.
03-14:50 And
he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen
vessel over running water:
03-15:15 And
the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest
shall make an atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.
03-15:30 And
the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall
make an atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.
03-16:5 And
he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the
goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a
burnt offering.
03-16:8 And
Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one
lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat.
03-16:27 And
the bullock for the sin offering, and
the goat for the sin offering, whose
blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall one carry forth without the camp; and they shall
burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.
03-16:29 And
this shall be a statute for ever unto
you: that in the seventh month, on
the tenth day of the month, ye shall
afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether
it be one of your own country, or a stranger
that sojourneth among you:
03-17:15 And
every soul that eateth that which died of
itself, or that which was torn with
beasts, whether it be one of your own
country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until
the even: then shall he be clean.
03-18:30 Therefore
shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit
not any one
of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye
defile not yourselves therein: I am the
LORD your God.
03-19:8 Therefore
every one that
eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing
of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
03-19:11 Ye
shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one
to another.
03-19:34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you
shall be unto you as one born among you, and
thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
03-20:9 For
every one that curseth his father or his mother
shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his
blood shall be upon him.
03-22:28 And
whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall
not kill it and her young both in one day.
03-23:18 And
ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year,
and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall
be for a burnt offering unto the
LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.
03-23:19 Then
ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a
sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace
offerings.
03-24:5 And
thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals
shall be in one cake.
03-24:22 Ye
shall have one manner of law, as well for the
stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.
03-25:14 And
if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour’s hand, ye shall not oppress one another:
03-25:17 Ye
shall not therefore oppress one another; but
thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the
LORD your God.
03-25:46 And
ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be
your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall
not rule one over another with rigour.
03-25:48 After
that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of
his brethren may redeem him:
03-26:26 And when I have broken the staff of your
bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one
oven, and they shall deliver you your
bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.
03-26:37 And
they shall fall one upon another, as it were
before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before
your enemies.
04-1:4 And
with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one
head of the house of his fathers.
04-1:41 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the
tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
04-1:44 These
are those that were numbered, which
Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for
the house of his fathers.
04-2:16 All
that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were
an hundred thousand and fifty and one
thousand and four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. And they shall
set forth in the second rank.
04-2:28 And
his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five
hundred.
04-2:34 And
the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so
they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of
their fathers.
04-4:19 But
thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the
most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
04-4:30 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them,
every one that entereth into the service, to do
the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-4:35 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in
the tabernacle of the congregation:
04-4:39 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in
the tabernacle of the congregation,
04-4:43 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in
the tabernacle of the congregation,
04-4:47 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and
the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,
04-4:49 According
to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his
burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
04-5:2 Command
the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by
the dead:
04-6:11 And
the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering,
and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he
sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day.
04-6:14 And
he shall offer his offering unto the LORD, one he
lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish for a
sin offering, and one ram without blemish for
peace offerings,
04-6:19 And
the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite,
after the hair of his separation is
shaven:
04-7:3 And
they brought their offering before the LORD, six covered wagons, and twelve
oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and for each one
an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle.
04-7:13 And

when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him,
then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him
from off the mercy seat that was upon
the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.
04-8:12 And
the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou
shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the
Levites.
04-9:14 And
if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the
LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner
thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one
ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
04-10:4 And
if they blow but with one trumpet, then
the princes, which are heads of the
thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.
04-11:19 Ye
shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five
days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;
04-11:26 But
there remained two of the men in the
camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested
upon them; and they were of them that
were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the
camp.
04-11:28 And
Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and
said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
04-12:12 Let
her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is
half consumed when he cometh out of his mother’s womb.
04-13:2 Send
thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the
children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.
04-13:23 And
they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two
upon a staff; and they brought of the
pomegranates, and of the figs.
04-14:4 And
they said one to another, Let us make a captain,
and let us return into Egypt.
04-14:15 Now
if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of
thee will speak, saying,
04-15:5 And
the fourth part of an hin of wine for
a drink offering shalt thou prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb.
04-15:11 Thus
shall it be done for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid.
04-15:12 According
to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.
04-15:15 One ordinance shall
be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that
sojourneth with you, an ordinance for
ever in your generations: as ye are, so
shall the stranger be before the LORD.
04-15:16 One law and one manner
shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.
04-15:24 Then
it shall be, if ought be committed by
ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation
shall offer one young bullock for a burnt
offering, for a sweet savour unto the LORD, with his meat offering, and his
drink offering, according to the manner, and one
kid of the goats for a sin offering.
04-15:29 Ye
shall have one law for him that sinneth through
ignorance, both for him that is born
among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.
04-16:3 And
they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said
unto them, Ye take too much upon you,
seeing all the congregation are holy,
every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up
yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?
04-16:15 And
Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering:
I have not taken one ass from them, neither have
I hurt one of them.
04-16:22 And
they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all
flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth
with all the congregation?
04-17:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and take of every one
of them a rod according to the house of their
fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers
twelve rods: write thou every man’s name upon his rod.
04-17:3 And
thou shalt write Aaron’s name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the
head of the house of their fathers.
04-17:6 And
Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one
of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.
04-18:11 And
this is thine; the heave offering of
their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given
them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute
for ever: every one that is clean in thy house
shall eat of it.
04-18:13 And whatsoever is first ripe in the
land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thine house shall eat of it.
04-19:3 And
ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without
the camp, and one
shall slay her before his face:
04-19:5 And
one shall
burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her
dung, shall he burn:
04-19:16 And
whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a
sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall
be unclean seven days.
04-19:18 And
a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it
in the water, and sprinkle it upon
the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and
upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:
04-21:8 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and
it shall come to pass, that every one that is
bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
04-25:5 And
Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one
his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.
04-25:6 And,
behold, one of the children of Israel came and
brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the
sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-26:54 To
many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less
inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance
be given according to those that were numbered of him.
04-28:4 The
one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and
the other lamb shalt thou offer at even;
04-28:7 And
the drink offering thereof shall be the
fourth part of an hin for the one lamb: in the holy place shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto the LORD for a drink offering.
04-28:11 And
in the beginnings of your months ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD;
two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of
the first year without spot;
04-28:12 And
three tenth deals of flour for a meat
offering, mingled with oil, for one bullock; and
two tenth deals of flour for a meat
offering, mingled with oil, for one ram;
04-28:13 And
a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a meat offering unto one lamb; for a burnt offering of a sweet savour,
a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.
04-28:15 And
one kid of the goats for a sin offering unto the
LORD shall be offered, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink
offering.
04-28:19 But
ye shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for
a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, and seven lambs of the first year: they shall
be unto you without blemish:
04-28:22 And
one goat for
a sin offering, to make an atonement for you.
04-28:27 But
ye shall offer the burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; two young
bullocks, one ram, seven lambs of the first
year;
04-28:28 And
their meat offering of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto one bullock, two tenth deals unto one ram,
04-28:29 A
several tenth deal unto one lamb, throughout the
seven lambs;
04-28:30 And one
kid of the goats, to make an atonement for you.
04-29:2 And
ye shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; one young bullock, one
ram, and seven lambs of the first
year without blemish:
04-29:4 And
one tenth deal for one
lamb, throughout the seven lambs:
04-29:5 And
one kid of the goats for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you:
04-29:8 But
ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD for a sweet savour; one young
bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year; they shall be unto you without
blemish:
04-29:9 And
their meat offering shall be of flour
mingled with oil, three tenth deals to a bullock, and two tenth deals to one ram,
04-29:10 A
several tenth deal for one lamb, throughout the
seven lambs:
04-29:11 One kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the sin offering of atonement, and the
continual burnt offering, and the meat offering of it, and their drink
offerings.
04-29:16 And
one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meat
offering, and his drink offering.
04-29:19 And
one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and the
meat offering thereof, and their drink offerings.
04-29:22 And
one goat for
a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering,
and his drink offering.
04-29:25 And
one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meat
offering, and his drink offering.
04-29:28 And
one goat for
a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering,
and his drink offering.
04-29:31 And
one goat for
a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and
his drink offering.
04-29:34 And
one goat for
a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and
his drink offering.
04-29:36 But
ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour
unto the LORD: one bullock, one ram, seven lambs of the first year without
blemish:
04-29:38 And
one goat for
a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering,
and his drink offering.
04-31:28 And
levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of
the sheep:
04-31:30 And
of the children of Israel’s half, thou shalt take one
portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the
flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the
charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.
04-31:34 And
threescore and one thousand asses,
04-31:39 And
the asses were thirty thousand and
five hundred; of which the LORD’S tribute was
threescore and one.
04-31:47 Even
of the children of Israel’s half, Moses took one
portion of fifty, both of man and of
beast, and gave them unto the Levites, which kept the charge of the tabernacle
of the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
04-31:49 And
they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh
not one man of us.
04-34:18 And
ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to
divide the land by inheritance.
04-35:8 And
the cities which ye shall give shall be of
the possession of the children of Israel: from them that have many ye shall give many; but from them that have few ye shall give few:
every one shall give of his cities unto the
Levites according to his inheritance which he inheriteth.
04-35:15 These
six cities shall be a refuge, both for
the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them:
that every one that killeth any person unawares
may flee thither.
04-35:30 Whoso
killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of
witnesses: but one witness shall not testify
against any person to cause him to
die.
04-36:7 So
shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe:
for every one of the children of Israel shall keep
himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
04-36:8 And
every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of
Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of
the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the
inheritance of his fathers.
04-36:9 Neither
shall the inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; but every one of the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep
himself to his own inheritance.
05-1:22 And
ye came near unto me every one of you, and said,
We will send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bring us
word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come.
05-1:23 And
the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one of a tribe:
05-1:35 Surely
there shall not one of these men of this evil
generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
05-2:36 From
Aroer, which is by the brink of the
river of Arnon, and from the city
that is by the river, even unto
Gilead, there was not one city too strong for
us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:
05-4:4 But
ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God are
alive every one of you this day.
05-4:32 For
ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that
God created man upon the earth, and ask from
the one side of heaven unto the other, whether
there hath been any such thing as
this great thing is, or hath been
heard like it?
05-4:42 That
the slayer might flee thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and
hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one
of these cities he might live:
05-6:4 Hear,
O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
05-12:14 But
in the place which the LORD shall choose in one
of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt
do all that I command thee.
05-13:7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or
far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
05-13:12 If
thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given
thee to dwell there, saying,
05-15:7 If
there be among you a poor man of one of thy
brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth
thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor
brother:
05-17:6 At
the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of
death be put to death; but at the
mouth of one witness he shall not be put to
death.
05-17:15 Thou
shalt in any wise set him king over
thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king
over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.
05-18:10 There
shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass
through the fire, or that useth
divination, or an observer of times,
or an enchanter, or a witch,
05-19:5 As
when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand
fetcheth a stroke with the ax to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from
the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live:
05-19:11 But
if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against
him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities:
05-19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any
iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two
witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
05-21:1 If
one be
found slain in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying
in the field, and it be not known who
hath slain him:
05-21:15 If
a man have two wives, one beloved, and another
hated, and they have born him children, both
the beloved and the hated; and if the
firstborn son be hers that was hated:
05-23:16 He
shall dwell with thee, even among
you, in that place which he shall choose in one
of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.
05-24:5 When
a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be
charged with any business: but he
shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer
up his wife which he hath taken.
05-25:5 If
brethren dwell together, and one of them die,
and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a
stranger: her husband’s brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to
wife, and perform the duty of an husband’s brother unto her.
05-25:11 When
men strive together one with another, and the
wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her
husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand,
and taketh him by the secrets:
05-28:7 The
LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before
thy face: they shall come out against thee one
way, and flee before thee seven ways.
05-28:25 The
LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them:
and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
05-28:57 And
toward her young one that cometh out from
between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall
eat them for want of all things secretly
in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy
gates.
05-28:64 And
the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one
end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods,
which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
05-32:30 How
should one chase a thousand, and two put ten
thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them
up?
05-33:3 Yea,
he loved the people; all his saints are in
thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every
one shall receive of thy words.
05-33:8 And
of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and
thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the
waters of Meribah;
06-9:2 That
they gathered themselves together, to fight with Joshua and with Israel, with one accord.
06-10:2 That
they feared greatly, because Gibeon was a
great city, as one of the royal cities, and
because it was greater than Ai, and
all the men thereof were mighty.
06-10:42 And
all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one
time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.
06-12:9 The
king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;
06-12:10 The
king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;
06-12:11 The
king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;
06-12:12 The
king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;
06-12:13 The
king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;
06-12:14 The
king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;
06-12:15 The
king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;
06-12:16 The
king of Makkedah, one; the king of Bethel, one;
06-12:17 The
king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one;
06-12:18 The
king of Aphek, one; the king of Lasharon, one;
06-12:19 The
king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one;
06-12:20 The
king of Shimronmeron, one; the king of Achshaph,
one;
06-12:21 The
king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one;
06-12:22 The
king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam of
Carmel, one;
06-12:23 The
king of Dor in the coast of Dor, one; the king
of the nations of Gilgal, one;
06-12:24 The
king of Tirzah, one: all the kings thirty and one.
06-13:31 And
half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were pertaining unto the children of
Machir the son of Manasseh, even to
the one half of the children of Machir by their
families.
06-17:14 And
the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but one
lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the LORD
hath blessed me hitherto?
06-17:17 And
Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even
to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only:
06-20:4 And
when he that doth flee unto one of those cities
shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his
cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city
unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them.
06-21:42 These
cities were every one with their suburbs round
about them: thus were all these
cities.
06-22:7 Now
to the one
half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given possession in Bashan: but unto the other half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this side
Jordan westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents, then he
blessed them,
06-22:14 And
with him ten princes, of each chief house a prince throughout all the tribes of
Israel; and each one was an head of the house of their fathers among the thousands of
Israel.
06-23:10 One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your
God, he it is that fighteth for you,
as he hath promised you.
06-23:14 And,
behold, this day I am going the way
of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that
not one thing hath failed of all the good things
which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one
thing hath failed thereof.
07-6:16 And
the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the
Midianites as one man.
07-6:29 And
they said one to another, Who hath done this
thing? And when they enquired and asked, they said, Gideon the son of Joash
hath done this thing.
07-6:31 And
Joash said unto all that stood against him, Will ye plead for Baal? will ye
save him? he that will plead for him, let him be put to death whilst it is yet morning: if he be a god, let him plead for himself,
because one
hath cast down his altar.
07-7:5 So
he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every
one that lappeth of the water with his tongue,
as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink.
07-8:18 Then
said he unto Zebah and Zalmunna, What manner of men were they whom ye slew at Tabor? And they answered, As thou art, so were they; each one resembled the
children of a king.
07-9:2 Speak,
I pray you, in the ears of all the men of Shechem, Whether is better for you, either that all the sons of Jerubbaal, which are threescore and ten persons,
reign over you, or that one reign over you?
remember also that I am your bone and
your flesh.
07-9:5 And
he went unto his father’s house at Ophrah, and slew his brethren the sons of
Jerubbaal, being threescore and ten
persons, upon one stone: notwithstanding yet
Jotham the youngest son of Jerubbaal was left; for he hid himself.
07-9:18 And
ye are risen up against my father’s house this day, and have slain his sons,
threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and have
made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem,
because he is your brother;)
07-10:18 And
the people and princes of Gilead said
one to another, What man is he that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he
shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.
07-11:35 And
it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my
daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one
of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot
go back.
07-12:7 And
Jephthah judged Israel six years. Then died Jephthah the Gileadite, and was
buried in one
of the cities of Gilead.
07-16:5 And
the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him,
and see wherein his great strength lieth,
and by what means we may prevail
against him, that we may bind him to afflict him: and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.
07-16:29 And

the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and
consecrated one of his sons, who became his
priest.
07-17:11 And
the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as
one of his sons.
07-18:19 And
they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay thine hand upon thy mouth, and go with
us, and be to us a father and a priest: is
it better for thee to be a priest unto the house of one man, or that thou be a priest unto a tribe and a family in
Israel?
07-19:13 And
he said unto his servant, Come, and let us draw near to one of these places to lodge all night, in Gibeah, or in Ramah.
07-20:1 Then
all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was gathered together
as one man, from Dan even to Beersheba, with the
land of Gilead, unto the LORD in Mizpeh.
07-20:8 And
all the people arose as one man, saying, We will
not any of us go to his tent, neither
will we any of us turn into his
house.
07-20:11 So
all the men of Israel were gathered against the city, knit together as one man.
07-20:16 Among
all this people there were seven
hundred chosen men lefthanded; every one could
sling stones at an hair breadth, and
not miss.
07-20:31 And
the children of Benjamin went out against the people, and were drawn away from the city; and they began to smite of the
people, and kill, as at other times,
in the highways, of which one goeth up to the house
of God, and the other to Gibeah in the field, about thirty men of Israel.
07-21:3 And
said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to pass in Israel, that there
should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel?
07-21:6 And
the children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said,
There is one tribe cut off from Israel this day.

they said, What one is there of the tribes of Israel that came not up to Mizpeh to the LORD?
And, behold, there came none to the camp from Jabeshgilead to the assembly.
08-1:4 And
they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah,
and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.

she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast
comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid,
though I be not like unto one of thine
handmaidens.
08-2:20 And
Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living
and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of our
next kinsmen.
08-3:14 And
she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be
known that a woman came into the floor.
08-4:1 Then
went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of
whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one!
turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.
09-1:2 And
he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other
Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
09-1:24 And
when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought
him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young.
09-2:25 If
one man sin against another, the judge shall judge
him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him?
Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the
LORD would slay them.
09-2:34 And
this shall be a sign unto thee, that
shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.
09-2:36 And
it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver
and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests’ offices, that I may eat a piece of
bread.
09-3:11 And
the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the
ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.
09-6:4 Then
said they, What shall be the trespass
offering which we shall return to him? They answered, Five golden emerods, and
five golden mice, according to the
number of the lords of the Philistines: for one
plague was on you all, and on your
lords.
09-6:17 And
these are the golden emerods which
the Philistines returned for a
trespass offering unto the LORD; for Ashdod one,
for Gaza one, for Askelon one, for Gath one, for
Ekron one;
09-9:3 And
the asses of Kish Saul’s father were lost. And Kish said to Saul his son, Take
now one of the servants with thee, and arise, go
seek the asses.
09-10:3 Then
shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of
Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three
loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:
09-10:11 And
it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he
prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one
to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
09-10:12 And
one of the same place answered and said, But who
is their father? Therefore it became
a proverb, Is Saul also among the
prophets?
09-11:7 And
he took a yoke of oxen, and hewed them in pieces, and sent them throughout all the coasts of Israel by the hands of
messengers, saying, Whosoever cometh not forth after Saul and after Samuel, so
shall it be done unto his oxen. And the fear of the LORD fell on the people,
and they came out with one consent.
09-13:1 Saul
reigned one year; and when he had reigned two
years over Israel,
09-13:17 And
the spoilers came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned unto the way that leadeth to Ophrah, unto the land of Shual:
09-14:4 And
between the passages, by which Jonathan sought to go over unto the Philistines’
garrison, there was a sharp rock on
the one side, and a sharp rock on the other
side: and the name of the one was Bozez, and the name of the other
Seneh.
09-14:5 The
forefront of the one was situate northward over against Michmash, and the other
southward over against Gibeah.
09-14:16 And
the watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Benjamin looked; and, behold, the multitude
melted away, and they went on beating down one another.
09-14:28 Then
answered one of the people, and said, Thy father
straitly charged the people with an oath, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth any food
this day. And the people were faint.
09-14:40 Then
said he unto all Israel, Be ye on one side, and I
and Jonathan my son will be on the other side. And the people said unto Saul,
Do what seemeth good unto thee.
09-14:45 And
the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great
salvation in Israel? God forbid: as the
LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of his
head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people
rescued Jonathan, that he died not.
09-16:18 Then
answered one of the servants, and said, Behold,
I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of
war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him.
09-17:3 And
the Philistines stood on a mountain on the one
side, and Israel stood on a mountain on the other side: and there was a valley between them.
09-17:7 And
the staff of his spear was like a
weaver’s beam; and his spear’s head weighed
six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing
a shield went before him.
09-17:36 Thy
servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine
shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied
the armies of the living God.
09-18:7 And
the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath
slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.
09-18:21 And
Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the
hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, Thou
shalt this day be my son in law in the one of the twain.
09-19:22 Then
went he also to Ramah, and came to a great well that is in Sechu: and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And one said, Behold, they be at Naioth in Ramah.
09-20:15 But
also thou shalt not cut off thy kindness
from my house for ever: no, not when the LORD hath cut off the enemies of David
every one from the face of the earth.
09-20:41 And as soon as the lad was gone, David
arose out of a place toward the
south, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed himself three times: and
they kissed one another, and wept one with another, until David exceeded.
09-21:11 And
the servants of Achish said unto him, Is not
this David the king of the land? did they not sing one
to another of him in dances, saying, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David
his ten thousands?
09-22:2 And
every one that
was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented,
gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were
with him about four hundred men.
09-22:7 Then
Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will
the son of Jesse give every one of you fields
and vineyards, and make you all
captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;
09-22:20 And
one of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub,
named Abiathar, escaped, and fled after David.
09-25:14 But
one of the young men told Abigail, Nabal’s wife,
saying, Behold, David sent messengers out of the wilderness to salute our
master; and he railed on them.
09-26:15 And
David said to Abner, Art not thou a valiant man? and who is like to thee in Israel? wherefore
then hast thou not kept thy lord the king? for there came one of the people in to destroy the king thy lord.
09-26:20 Now
therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the LORD: for
the king of Israel is come out to seek a flea, as when one
doth hunt a partridge in the mountains.
09-26:22 And
David answered and said, Behold the king’s spear! and let one of the young men come over and fetch it.
09-27:1 And
David said in his heart, I shall now perish one
day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing
better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the
Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of
Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.
09-29:5 Is not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul slew his
thousands, and David his ten thousands?
10-1:15 And
David called one of the young men, and said, Go
near, and fall upon him. And he smote
him that he died.
10-2:13 And
Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together
by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one
on the one side of the pool, and the other on
the other side of the pool.
10-2:16 And
they caught every one his fellow by the head,
and thrust his sword in his fellow’s
side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called
Helkathhazzurim, which is in Gibeon.
10-2:21 And
Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay
thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee
his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.
10-2:25 And
the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill.
10-2:27 And
Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou
hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.
10-3:13 And
he said, Well; I will make a league with thee: but one
thing I require of thee, that is, Thou shalt not see my face, except thou first
bring Michal Saul’s daughter, when thou comest to see my face.
10-3:29 Let
it rest on the head of Joab, and on all his father’s house; and let there not
fail from the house of Joab one that hath an
issue, or that is a leper, or that leaneth on a staff, or that falleth on the
sword, or that lacketh bread.
10-4:2 And
Saul’s son had two men that were captains
of bands: the name of the one was Baanah, and the name of the other
Rechab, the sons of Rimmon a Beerothite, of the children of Benjamin: (for
Beeroth also was reckoned to Benjamin.
10-4:10 When
one told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead,
thinking to have brought good tidings, I took hold of him, and slew him in
Ziklag, who thought that I would have
given him a reward for his tidings:
10-6:19 And
he dealt among all the people, even among
the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed
every one to his house.
10-6:20 Then
David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out
to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who
uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth
himself!
10-7:23 And
what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself,
and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy
land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?
10-8:2 And
he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground;
even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And so the Moabites became David’s servants, and brought gifts.
10-9:11 Then
said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded
his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king’s sons.
10-10:4 Wherefore
Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved off the one
half of their beards, and cut off their garments in the middle, even to their buttocks, and sent them
away.
10-11:3 And
David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the
Hittite?
10-11:25 Then
David said unto the messenger, Thus shalt thou say unto Joab, Let not this
thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth one
as well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow
it: and encourage thou him.
10-12:1 And
the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There
were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
10-12:3 But
the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished
up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his
own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a
daughter.
10-13:13 And
I, whither shall I cause my shame to go? and as for thee, thou shalt be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I pray
thee, speak unto the king; for he will not withhold me from thee.
10-13:30 And
it came to pass, while they were in the way, that tidings came to David, saying,
Absalom hath slain all the king’s sons, and there is not one of them left.
10-14:6 And
thy handmaid had two sons, and they two strove together in the field, and there was none to part them, but the one smote the other, and slew him.
10-14:11 Then
said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou
wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they
destroy my son. And he said, As the
LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son
fall to the earth.
10-14:12 Then
the woman said, Let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak one word unto my lord the king. And
he said, Say on.
10-14:13 And
the woman said, Wherefore then hast thou thought such a thing against the
people of God? for the king doth speak this thing as one
which is faulty, in that the king doth not fetch home again his banished.
10-14:27 And
unto Absalom there were born three sons, and one
daughter, whose name was Tamar: she
was a woman of a fair countenance.
10-15:2 And
Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was so, that when any man that had a
controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and
said, Of what city art thou? And he
said, Thy servant is of one of the tribes of Israel.
10-15:31 And
one told
David, saying, Ahithophel is among
the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the
counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.
10-17:12 So
shall we come upon him in some place where he shall be found, and we will light
upon him as the dew falleth on the ground: and of him and of all the men that are with him there shall not be left so
much as one.
10-17:13 Moreover,
if he be gotten into a city, then shall all Israel bring ropes to that city,
and we will draw it into the river, until there be not one
small stone found there.
10-17:22 Then
David arose, and all the people that were
with him, and they passed over Jordan: by the morning light there lacked
not one of them that was not gone over Jordan.
10-18:17 And
they took Absalom, and cast him into a great pit in the wood, and laid a very
great heap of stones upon him: and all Israel fled every one to his tent.
10-19:7 Now
therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear
by the LORD, if thou go not forth, there will not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be worse unto thee than all
the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now.
10-19:14 And
he bowed the heart of all the men of Judah, even as the heart of one man; so that they
sent this word unto the king, Return
thou, and all thy servants.
10-20:11 And
one of Joab’s men stood by him, and said, He
that favoureth Joab, and he that is for
David, let him go after Joab.
10-20:12 And
Amasa wallowed in blood in the midst of the highway. And when the man saw that
all the people stood still, he removed Amasa out of the highway into the field,
and cast a cloth upon him, when he saw that every one
that came by him stood still.
10-20:19 I
am one of
them that are peaceable and faithful
in Israel: thou seekest to destroy a city and a mother in Israel: why wilt thou
swallow up the inheritance of the LORD?
10-23:8 These
be the names of the mighty men whom
David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the
same was Adino the Eznite: he lift up his spear against eight
hundred, whom he slew at one time.
10-23:9 And
after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo
the Ahohite, one
of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to
battle, and the men of Israel were gone away:
10-23:15 And
David longed, and said, Oh that one would give
me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!
10-23:24 Asahel
the brother of Joab was one of the thirty; Elhanan the son of Dodo of
Bethlehem,
10-24:12 Go
and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.
11-1:48 And
also thus said the king, Blessed be the
LORD God of Israel, which hath given one to sit on my throne this day, mine eyes even
seeing it.
11-2:16 And
now I ask one petition of thee, deny me not. And
she said unto him, Say on.
11-2:20 Then
she said, I desire one small petition of thee; I pray thee, say me not nay. And the
king said unto her, Ask on, my mother: for I will not say thee nay.
11-3:17 And
the one woman said, O my lord, I and this woman
dwell in one house; and I was delivered of a
child with her in the house.
11-3:23 Then
said the king, The one saith, This is my son that liveth, and thy son is the dead: and the other saith, Nay;
but thy son is the dead, and my son is the living.
11-3:25 And
the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other.
11-4:22 And
Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty
measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,
11-6:24 And
five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing
of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one
wing unto the uttermost part of the other were
ten cubits.
11-6:25 And
the other cherub was ten cubits: both
the cherubims were of one measure and one size.
11-6:26 The
height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it
of the other cherub.
11-6:27 And
he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings
of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one
touched the one
wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their
wings touched one another in the midst of the
house.
11-6:34 And
the two doors were of fir tree: the
two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding.
11-7:7 Then
he made a porch for the throne where he might judge, even the porch of judgment: and it
was covered with cedar from one side of the
floor to the other.
11-7:16 And
he made two chapiters of molten
brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars: the height of the one chapiter was
five cubits, and the height of the other chapiter was five cubits:
11-7:17 And nets of checker work, and wreaths of
chain work, for the chapiters which were upon
the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter,
and seven for the other chapiter.
11-7:18 And
he made the pillars, and two rows round about upon the one
network, to cover the chapiters that were
upon the top, with pomegranates: and so did he for the other chapiter.
11-7:23 And
he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one
brim to the other: it was round all
about, and his height was five
cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
11-7:27 And
he made ten bases of brass; four cubits was
the length of one base, and four cubits the
breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it.
11-7:34 And
there were four undersetters to the
four corners of one base: and the undersetters were of
the very base itself.
11-7:36 For
on the plates of the ledges thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved
cherubims, lions, and palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions round about.
11-7:37 After
this manner he made the ten bases:
all of them had one casting, one measure, and
one size.
11-7:38 Then
made he ten lavers of brass: one laver contained
forty baths: and every laver was four
cubits: and upon every one of the ten bases one
laver.
11-7:42 And
four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, even two rows of pomegranates for one
network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that were upon the pillars;
11-7:44 And
one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea;
11-8:56 Blessed
be the LORD, that hath given rest
unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not
failed one word of all his good promise, which
he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.
11-9:8 And
at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall
hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to
this house?
11-10:14 Now
the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one
year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,
11-10:16 And
king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten
gold: six hundred shekels of gold
went to one target.
11-10:17 And
he made three hundred shields of beaten gold; three pound of gold went
to one shield: and the king put them in the
house of the forest of Lebanon.
11-10:20 And
twelve lions stood there on the one side and on
the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom.
11-11:13 Howbeit
I will not rend away all the kingdom; but
will give one tribe to thy son for David my
servant’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen.
11-11:32 (But
he shall have one tribe for my servant David’s
sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the
tribes of Israel:)
11-11:36 And
unto his son will I give one tribe, that David
my servant may have a light alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have
chosen me to put my name there.
11-12:29 And
he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he
in Dan.
11-12:30 And
this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.
11-13:33 After
this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the
lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he
consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places.
11-14:21 And
Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty and one years old when he
began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the
LORD did choose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his
mother’s name was Naamah an
Ammonitess.
11-15:10 And
forty and one years reigned he in Jerusalem. And
his mother’s name was Maachah, the
daughter of Abishalom.
11-16:11 And
it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he
left him not one that pisseth against a wall,
neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.
11-18:6 So
they divided the land between them to pass throughout it: Ahab went one way by himself, and Obadiah went another way by
himself.
11-18:23 Let
them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and
lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other
bullock, and lay it on wood, and put
no fire under:
11-18:25 And
Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one
bullock for yourselves, and dress it first;
for ye are many; and call on the name
of your gods, but put no fire under.
11-18:40 And
Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah
brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.
11-19:2 Then
Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy
life as the life of one of them by to morrow
about this time.
11-20:20 And
they slew every one his man: and the Syrians
fled; and Israel pursued them: and Benhadad the king of Syria escaped on an
horse with the horsemen.
11-20:29 And
they pitched one over against the other seven
days. And so it was, that in the
seventh day the battle was joined: and the children of Israel slew of the
Syrians an hundred thousand footmen in one day.
11-22:8 And
the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There
is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by
whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good
concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
11-22:13 And
the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now,
the words of the prophets declare good
unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I
pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and
speak that which is good.
11-22:20 And
the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at
Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and
another said on that manner.
11-22:28 And
Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, the LORD hath not spoken by me.
And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of
you.
11-22:38 And
one washed
the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they
washed his armour; according unto the word of the LORD which he spake.
12-3:11 But
Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a
prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel’s servants answered and
said, Here is Elisha the son of
Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah.
12-3:23 And
they said, This is blood: the kings
are surely slain, and they have smitten one
another: now therefore, Moab, to the spoil.
12-4:22 And
she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one
of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again.
12-4:39 And
one went out into the field to gather herbs, and
found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and
shred them into the pot of pottage:
for they knew them not.
12-5:4 And
one went
in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.
12-6:3 And
one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with
thy servants. And he answered, I will go.
12-6:5 But
as one was felling a beam, the ax head fell into
the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.
12-6:12 And
one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king:
but Elisha, the prophet that is in
Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy
bedchamber.
12-7:3 And
there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?
12-7:6 For
the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a
noise of horses, even the noise of a
great host: and they said one to another, Lo,
the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the
kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.
12-7:8 And
when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence
silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried
thence also, and went and hid it.
12-7:9 Then
they said one to another, We do not well: this
day is a day of good tidings, and we
hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come
upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.
12-7:13 And
one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the
horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that
are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the
Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.
12-8:26 Two
and twenty years old was Ahaziah when
he began to reign; and he reigned one year in
Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Athaliah,
the daughter of Omri king of Israel.
12-9:1 And
Elisha the prophet called one of the children of
the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in
thine hand, and go to Ramothgilead:
12-9:11 Then
Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said unto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellow to thee? And he said unto them,
Ye know the man, and his communication.
12-9:18 So
there went one on horseback to meet him, and
said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace?
And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the
watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.
12-10:21 And
Jehu sent through all Israel: and all the worshippers of Baal came, so that
there was not a man left that came not. And they came into the house of Baal;
and the house of Baal was full from one end to
another.
12-12:4 And
Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is
brought into the house of the LORD, even the
money of every one that passeth the account, the money that every man is
set at, and all the money that cometh
into any man’s heart to bring into the house of the LORD,
12-12:9 But
Jehoiada the priest took a chest, and bored a hole in the lid of it, and set it
beside the altar, on the right side as one
cometh into the house of the LORD: and the priests that kept the door put
therein all the money that was brought
into the house of the LORD.
12-14:8 Then
Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of
Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in
the face.
12-14:11 But
Amaziah would not hear. Therefore Jehoash king of Israel went up; and he and
Amaziah king of Judah looked one another in the
face at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to
Judah.
12-14:23 In
the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah Jeroboam the son
of Joash king of Israel began to reign in Samaria, and reigned forty and one years.
12-17:27 Then
the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one
of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there,
and let him teach them the manner of the God of the land.
12-17:28 Then
one of the priests whom they had carried away
from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the
LORD.
12-18:24 How
then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain
of the least of my master’s servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots and
for horsemen?
12-18:31 Hearken
not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine,
and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye
every one the waters of his cistern:
12-19:22 Whom
hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on
high? even against the Holy One of
Israel.
12-21:16 Moreover
Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made
Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil
in the sight of the LORD.
12-22:1 Josiah
was eight years old when he began to
reign, and he reigned thirty and one years in
Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jedidah,
the daughter of Adaiah of Boscath.
12-23:35 And
Jehoiakim gave the silver and the gold to Pharaoh; but he taxed the land to
give the money according to the commandment of Pharaoh: he exacted the silver
and the gold of the people of the land, of every one
according to his taxation, to give it unto
Pharaohnechoh.
12-24:18 Zedekiah
was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned
eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
12-25:16 The
two pillars, one sea, and the bases which
Solomon had made for the house of the LORD; the brass of all these vessels was
without weight.
12-25:17 The
height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and the chapiter upon it was brass: and the height of the chapiter three cubits; and the
wreathen work, and pomegranates upon the chapiter round about, all of brass:
and like unto these had the second pillar with wreathen work.
13-1:19 And
unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one
was Peleg; because in his days the
earth was divided: and his brother’s name was
Joktan.
13-9:31 And
Mattithiah, one
of the Levites, who was the
firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the set office over the things that were
made in the pans.
13-10:13 So
Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which
he kept not, and also for asking counsel of
one that
had a familiar spirit, to enquire of
it;
13-11:11 And
this is the number of the mighty men
whom David had; Jashobeam, an Hachmonite, the chief of the captains: he lifted
up his spear against three hundred slain by
him at one time.
13-11:12 And
after him was Eleazar the son of
Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighties.
13-11:17 And
David longed, and said, Oh that one would give
me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, that is at the gate!
13-12:14 These
were of the sons of Gad, captains of
the host: one of the least was over an hundred, and the greatest over a thousand.
13-12:25 Of
the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour for the war, seven thousand and one hundred.
13-12:38 All
these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to
make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one
heart to make David king.
13-16:3 And
he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and
woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good
piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
13-16:20 And
when they went from nation to nation,
and from one
kingdom to another people;
13-17:5 For
I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this
day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another.
13-17:21 And
what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went
to redeem to be his own people, to
make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from
before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?
13-21:10 Go
and tell David, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things: choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.
13-23:11 And
Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many
sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according
to their father’s house.
13-24:5 Thus
were they divided by lot, one sort with another;
for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons
of Ithamar.
13-24:6 And
Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them before the king,
and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and before the chief of the fathers of the
priests and Levites: one principal household
being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.
13-24:17 The
one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and
twentieth to Gamul,
13-25:28 The
one and twentieth to Hothir, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13-26:12 Among
these were the divisions of the
porters, even among the chief men, having wards one
against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.
13-27:18 Of
Judah, Elihu, one
of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:
13-29:7 And
gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten
thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen
thousand talents, and one hundred thousand
talents of iron.
14-3:11 And
the wings of the cherubims were twenty
cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits,
reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
14-3:12 And
one wing
of the other cherub was five cubits,
reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining
to the wing of the other cherub.
14-3:17 And
he reared up the pillars before the temple, one
on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on
the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
14-4:15 One sea, and twelve oxen under it.
14-5:13 It
came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the
LORD; and when they lifted up their voice
with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth
for ever: that then the house was
filled with a cloud, even the house
of the LORD;
14-6:29 Then what prayer or what supplication soever shall be made of any man, or of all thy
people Israel, when every one shall know his own
sore and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house:
14-7:21 And
this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath
the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?
14-9:6 Howbeit
I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told
me: for thou exceedest the fame that
I heard.
14-9:13 Now
the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one
year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;
14-9:15 And
king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten
gold: six hundred shekels of beaten gold
went to one target.
14-9:16 And
three hundred shields made he of beaten
gold: three hundred shekels of gold
went to one shield. And the king put them in the
house of the forest of Lebanon.
14-9:19 And
twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the
other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.
14-12:13 So
king Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned: for Rehoboam was one
and forty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in
Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel,
to put his name there. And his mother’s name was Naamah an Ammonitess.
14-16:13 And
Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one
and fortieth year of his reign.
14-18:7 And
the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There
is yet one man, by whom we may enquire of
the LORD: but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always
evil: the same is Micaiah the son of
Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
14-18:8 And
the king of Israel called for one of his officers, and said, Fetch quickly
Micaiah the son of Imla.
14-18:12 And
the messenger that went to call Micaiah spake to him, saying, Behold, the words
of the prophets declare good to the
king with one assent; let thy word therefore, I
pray thee, be like one of theirs, and speak thou
good.
14-18:19 And
the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall
at Ramothgilead? And one spake saying after this
manner, and another saying after that manner.
14-20:23 For
the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir,
utterly to slay and destroy them: and
when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
14-22:2 Forty
and two years old was Ahaziah when he
began to reign, and he reigned one year in
Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Athaliah
the daughter of Omri.
14-25:17 Then
Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the
son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one
another in the face.
14-25:21 So
Joash the king of Israel went up; and they saw one
another in the face, both he and
Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah.
14-26:11 Moreover
Uzziah had an host of fighting men, that went out to war by bands, according to
the number of their account by the hand of Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the
ruler, under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king’s captains.
14-28:6 For
Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand in one day, which
were all valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD God of their
fathers.
14-30:12 Also
in Judah the hand of God was to give them one
heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the
LORD.
14-30:17 For
there were many in the congregation
that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing
of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the LORD.
14-30:18 For
a multitude of the people, even many
of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves,
yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah
prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one
14-31:16 Beside
their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even unto every one that entereth
into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their service in their
charges according to their courses;
14-32:12 Hath
not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded
Judah and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall worship before one
altar, and burn incense upon it?
14-34:1 Josiah
was eight years old when he began to
reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem one and
thirty years.
14-35:24 His
servants therefore took him out of that chariot, and put him in the second
chariot that he had; and they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died, and was
buried in one
of the sepulchres of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for
Josiah.
14-36:11 Zedekiah
was one
and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years in
Jerusalem.
15-2:1 Now
these are the children of the
province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried
away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon,
and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one
unto his city;
15-2:26 The
children of Ramah and Gaba, six hundred twenty and one.
15-2:69 They
gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of
silver, and one hundred priests’ garments.
15-3:1 And
when the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered
themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.
15-3:5 And
afterward offered the continual burnt
offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the LORD that
were consecrated, and of every one that
willingly offered a freewill offering unto the LORD.
15-5:14 And
the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar
took out of the temple that was in
Jerusalem, and brought them into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the
king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered unto one, whose
name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had
made governor;
15-6:5 And
also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which
Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, be restored, and brought
again unto the temple which is at
Jerusalem, every one
to his place, and place them in
the house of God.
15-8:34 By
number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.
15-9:4 Then
were assembled unto me every one that trembled
at the words of the God of Israel, because of the transgression of those that
had been carried away; and I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice.
15-9:11 Which
thou hast commanded by thy servants the prophets, saying, The land, unto which
ye go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of
the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness.
15-10:2 And
Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto
Ezra, We have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the
people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.
15-10:13 But
the people are many, and it is a time of much rain, and we are not
able to stand without, neither is this a
work of one day or two: for we are many that
have transgressed in this thing.
16-1:2 That
Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them
concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and
concerning Jerusalem.
16-3:8 Next
unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him
also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified
Jerusalem unto the broad wall.
16-3:28 From
above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one
over against his house.
16-4:15 And
it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had
brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work.
16-4:17 They
which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with
one of his hands wrought in the work, and with
the other hand held a weapon.
16-4:18 For
the builders, every one had his sword girded by
his side, and so builded. And he that
sounded the trumpet was by me.
16-4:19 And
I said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The
work is great and large, and we are
separated upon the wall, one far from another.
16-4:22 Likewise
at the same time said I unto the people, Let every one
with his servant lodge within Jerusalem, that in the night they may be a guard
to us, and labour on the day.
16-4:23 So
neither I, nor my brethren, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard which
followed me, none of us put off our clothes, saving that every one put them off
for washing.
16-5:7 Then
I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said
unto them, Ye exact usury, every one of his
brother. And I set a great assembly against them.
16-5:18 Now
that which was prepared for me daily was one ox and six choice sheep; also fowls were prepared for me, and once in
ten days store of all sorts of wine: yet for all this required not I the bread
of the governor, because the bondage was heavy upon this people.
16-6:2 That
Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the
villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.
16-7:3 And
I said unto them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun be
hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar them: and appoint watches of the
inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch,
and every one to be over against his house.
16-7:6 These
are the children of the province,
that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom
Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to
Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;
16-7:30 The
men of Ramah and Gaba, six hundred twenty and one.
16-7:37 The
children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty and one.
16-7:63 And
of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of
Barzillai, which took one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to
wife, and was called after their name.
16-8:1 And
all the people gathered themselves together as one
man into the street that was before
the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the
law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.
16-8:16 So
the people went forth, and brought them, and
made themselves booths, every one upon the roof
of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and
in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.
16-9:3 And
they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the LORD their
God one fourth
part of the day; and another fourth
part they confessed, and worshipped the LORD their God.
16-10:28 And
the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the
Nethinims, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the
lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding;
16-11:1 And
the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast
lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem
the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in
other cities.
16-11:3 Now
these are the chief of the province
that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the
Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants.
16-11:14 And
their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their
overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the
great men.
16-11:20 And
the residue of Israel, of the priests, and
the Levites, were in all the
cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.
16-12:31 Then
I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went
on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:
16-13:10 And
I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them: for the Levites and the singers,
that did the work, were fled every one to his
field.
16-13:28 And
one of
the sons of Joiada, the son of Eliashib the high priest, was son in law to Sanballat the Horonite: therefore I chased him
from me.
16-13:30 Thus
cleansed I them from all strangers, and appointed the wards of the priests and
the Levites, every one in his business;
17-1:7 And
they gave them drink in vessels of
gold, (the vessels being diverse one from
another,) and royal wine in abundance, according to the state of the king.
17-3:13 And
the letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to
kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and
women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of
the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.
17-4:5 Then
called Esther for Hatach, one of the king’s chamberlains, whom he had
appointed to attend upon her, and gave him a commandment to Mordecai, to know
what it was, and why it was.
17-4:11 All
the king’s servants, and the people of the king’s provinces, do know, that whosoever,
whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not
called, there is one law of his to put him to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden
sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king
these thirty days.
17-6:9 And
let this apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one
of the king’s most noble princes, that they may array the man withal whom the king delighteth to
honour, and bring him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaim
before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to
honour.
17-7:9 And
Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before
the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for
Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman.
Then the king said, Hang him thereon.
17-8:12 Upon
one day in all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, namely, upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar.
17-9:19 Therefore
the Jews of the villages, that dwelt in the unwalled towns, made the fourteenth
day of the month Adar a day of gladness
and feasting, and a good day, and of sending portions one
to another.
17-9:22 As
the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was
turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that
they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor.
18-1:1 There
was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was
Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one
that feared God, and eschewed evil.
18-1:4 And
his sons went and feasted in their houses,
every one his day; and sent and called for their
three sisters to eat and to drink with them.
18-1:8 And
the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a
perfect and an upright man, one that feareth
God, and escheweth evil?
18-2:3 And
the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a
perfect and an upright man, one that feareth
God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou
movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
18-2:10 But
he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the
foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and
shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
18-2:11 Now
when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they
came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the
Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made
an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.
18-2:12 And
when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their
voice, and wept; and they rent every one his
mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.
18-5:2 For
wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one.
18-6:10 Then
should I yet have comfort; yea, I would harden myself in sorrow: let him not
spare; for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One.
18-6:26 Do
ye imagine to reprove words, and the speeches of one
that is desperate, which are as wind?
18-9:3 If
he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one
of a thousand.
18-9:22 This
is one
thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the
wicked.
18-12:4 I
am as one
mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just
upright man is laughed to scorn.
18-13:9 Is
it good that he should search you out? or as one
man mocketh another, do ye so mock
him?
18-14:3 And
dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and
bringest me into judgment with thee?
18-14:4 Who
can bring a clean thing out of an
unclean? not one.
18-16:21 O
that one might plead for a man with God, as a
man pleadeth for his neighbour!
18-17:10 But
as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.
18-19:11 He
hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his
enemies.
18-21:23 One dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease
and quiet.
18-23:13 But
he is in one
mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
18-24:6 They
reap every one
his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.
18-24:17 For
the morning is to them even as the
shadow of death: if one know them,
they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
18-29:25 I
chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one that comforteth
the mourners.
18-31:15 Did
not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one
fashion us in the womb?
18-31:35 Oh
that one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer me,
and that mine adversary had written a
book.
18-33:23 If
there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one
among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
18-40:11 Cast
abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one
that is proud, and abase him.
18-40:12 Look
on every one that
is proud, and bring him low; and
tread down the wicked in their place.
18-41:9 Behold,
the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
18-41:16 One is so near to another, that no air can come
between them.
18-41:17 They
are joined one to another, they stick together,
that they cannot be sundered.
18-41:32 He
maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
18-42:11 Then
came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that
had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house:
and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had
brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.
19-12:2 They
speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
19-14:3 They
are all gone aside, they are all together
become filthy: there is none that
doeth good, no, not one.
19-16:10 For
thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
19-27:4 One thing have
I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of
the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to
enquire in his temple.
19-29:9 The
voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and
in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
19-32:6 For
this shall every one that is godly pray unto
thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters
they shall not come nigh unto him.
19-34:20 He
keepeth all his bones: not one of them is
broken.
19-35:14 I
behaved myself as though he had been my
friend or brother: I bowed down
heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.
19-49:16 Be
not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory
of his house is increased;
19-50:21 These
things hast thou done, and I kept
silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
19-53:3 Every
one of them is gone back: they are altogether
become filthy; there is none that
doeth good, no, not one.
19-58:8 As
a snail which melteth, let every one of
them pass away: like the untimely
birth of a woman, that they may not
see the sun.
19-63:11 But
the king shall rejoice in God; every one that
sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be
stopped.
19-64:6 They
search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the
heart, is deep.
19-68:21 But
God shall wound the head of his enemies, and
the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on
still in his trespasses.
19-68:30 Rebuke
the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the
people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter
thou the people that delight in war.
19-71:18 Now
also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed
thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is
to come.
19-71:22 I
will also praise thee with the psaltery, even
thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
19-73:20 As
a dream when one
awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou
awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
19-75:7 But
God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
19-78:41 Yea,
they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One
of Israel.
19-78:65 Then
the Lord awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouteth by
reason of wine.
19-82:7 But
ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the
princes.
19-83:5 For
they have consulted together with one consent:
they are confederate against thee:
19-84:7 They
go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
19-89:10 Thou
hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is
slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.
19-89:18 For
the LORD is our defence; and the Holy
One of Israel is our king.
19-89:19 Then
thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and
saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen
out of the people.
19-105:13 When
they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom
to another people;
19-105:37 He
brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
19-106:11 And
the waters covered their enemies: there was not one
of them left.
19-115:8 They
that make them are like unto them; so is every
one that trusteth in them.
19-119:160 Thy
word is true from the beginning: and every one of
thy righteous judgments endureth for
ever.
19-119:162 I
rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great
spoil.
19-128:1 Blessed
is every one
that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
19-135:18 They
that make them are like unto them: so is every
one that trusteth in them.
19-137:3 For
there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that
wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
19-141:7 Our
bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when one
cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the
earth.
19-145:4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and
shall declare thy mighty acts.
20-1:14 Cast
in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
20-1:19 So
are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
20-3:18 She
is a tree of life to them that lay
hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
20-6:11 So
shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth,
and thy want as an armed man.
20-6:28 Can
one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be
burned?
20-8:30 Then
I was by him, as one brought up with
him: and I was daily his delight,
rejoicing always before him;
20-15:12 A
scorner loveth not one that reproveth him:
neither will he go unto the wise.
20-16:5 Every
one that
is proud in heart is an
abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be
unpunished.
20-17:14 The
beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention,
before it be meddled with.
20-19:25 Smite
a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one
that hath understanding, and he will
understand knowledge.
20-20:6 Most
men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but
a faithful man who can find?
20-21:5 The
thoughts of the diligent tend only to
plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.
20-22:26 Be
not thou one
of them that strike hands, or of
them that are sureties for debts.
20-24:34 So
shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
20-26:17 He
that passeth by, and meddleth with
strife belonging not to him, is like one
that taketh a dog by the ears.
21-1:4 One generation
passeth away, and another generation
cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.
21-2:14 The
wise man’s eyes are in his head; but
the fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all.
21-3:19 For
that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a
beast: for all is vanity.
21-3:20 All
go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn
to dust again.
21-4:8 There
is one alone,
and there is not a second; yea,
he hath neither child nor brother: yet is
there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches;
neither saith he, For whom do I
labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is
also vanity, yea, it is a sore
travail.
21-4:9 Two
are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
21-4:10 For
if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow:
but woe to him that is alone when he
falleth; for he hath not another to
help him up.
21-4:11 Again,
if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one
be warm alone?
21-4:12 And
if one prevail against him, two shall withstand
him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
21-5:18 Behold
that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to
eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under
the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.
21-6:6 Yea,
though he live a thousand years twice told,
yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one
place?
21-7:14 In
the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also
hath set the one over against the other, to the
end that man should find nothing after him.
21-7:27 Behold,
this have I found, saith the preacher, counting
one by one,
to find out the account:
21-7:28 Which
yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man
among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found.
21-8:9 All
this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the
sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.
21-9:2 All
things come alike to all: there is one
event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to
the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he
that sweareth, as he that feareth an
oath.
21-9:3 This
is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that
there is one
event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and
madness is in their heart while they
live, and after that they go to the
dead.
21-9:18 Wisdom
is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.
21-10:3 Yea
also, when he that is a fool walketh by the way, his wisdom faileth him, and he saith to every one that he is a fool.
21-10:15 The
labour of the foolish wearieth every one of
them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.
21-12:11 The
words of the wise are as goads, and
as nails fastened by the masters of
assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
22-1:7 Tell
me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should
I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of
thy companions?
22-2:10 My
beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
22-2:13 The
fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good
smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come
away.
22-4:2 Thy
teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came
up from the washing; whereof every one bear
twins, and none is barren among them.
22-4:9 Thou
hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse;
thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine
eyes, with one chain of thy neck.
22-6:6 Thy
teeth are as a flock of sheep which
go up from the washing, whereof every one
beareth twins, and there is not one barren among them.
22-6:9 My
dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the
only one
of her mother, she is the choice one of
her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.
22-8:10 I
am a wall, and my breasts like towers:
then was I in his eyes as one that found favour.
22-8:11 Solomon
had a vineyard at Baalhamon; he let out the vineyard unto keepers; every one for the fruit thereof was to bring a thousand pieces of silver.
23-1:4 Ah
sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that
are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
23-1:23 Thy
princes are rebellious, and
companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts,
and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the
cause of the widow come unto them.
23-1:24 Therefore
saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One
of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine
enemies:
23-2:12 For
the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon
every one
that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought
low:
23-2:20 In
that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which
they made each one
for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
23-3:5 And
the people shall be oppressed, every one by
another, and every one by his neighbour: the
child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against
the honourable.
23-4:1 And
in that day seven women shall take hold of one
man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us
be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
23-4:3 And
it shall come to pass, that he that is left
in Zion, and he that remaineth in
Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every
one that is written among the living in
Jerusalem:
23-5:10 Yea,
ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and
the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.
23-5:19 That
say, Let him make speed, and hasten
his work, that we may see it: and let
the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh
and come, that we may know it!
23-5:24 Therefore
as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness,
and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of
the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One
of Israel.
23-5:30 And
in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look
unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow,
and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
23-6:2 Above
it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with
twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain
he did fly.
23-6:3 And
one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy,
holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole
earth is full of his glory.
23-6:6 Then
flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live
coal in his hand, which he had taken
with the tongs from off the altar:
23-7:22 And
it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey
shall every one eat that is left in the land.
23-9:14 Therefore
the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day.
23-9:17 Therefore
the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on
their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and
every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his
hand is stretched out still.
23-10:14 And
my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that
are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the
wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
23-10:17 And
the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One
for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;
23-10:20 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the
remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more
again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
23-10:34 And
he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall
by a mighty one.
23-12:6 Cry
out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the
midst of thee.
23-13:8 And
they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be
in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
23-13:14 And
it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall
every man turn to his own people, and flee every one
into his own land.
23-13:15 Every
one that is found shall be thrust through; and
every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.
23-14:18 All
the kings of the nations, even all of
them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
23-14:32 What
shall one then
answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the
poor of his people shall trust in it.
23-15:3 In
their streets they shall gird themselves with sackcloth: on the tops of their
houses, and in their streets, every one shall
howl, weeping abundantly.
23-16:7 Therefore
shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl:
for the foundations of Kirhareseth shall ye mourn; surely they are stricken.
23-17:7 At
that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the
Holy One of Israel.
23-19:2 And
I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
23-19:17 And
the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one
that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel
of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.
23-19:18 In
that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan,
and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be
called, The city of destruction.
23-19:20 And
it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of
Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall
send them a saviour, and a great one, and he
shall deliver them.
23-23:15 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years,
according to the days of one king: after the end
of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot.
23-27:12 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the
LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and
ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
23-28:2 Behold,
the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of
mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.
23-29:4 And
thou shalt be brought down, and shalt
speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy
voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar
spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.
23-29:11 And
the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed,
which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee:
and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:
23-29:19 The
meek also shall increase their joy in
the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
23-29:20 For
the terrible one is brought to nought, and the
scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:
23-29:23 But
when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they
shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One
of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.
23-30:11 Get
you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
23-30:12 Wherefore
thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye
despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
23-30:15 For
thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel;
In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall
be your strength: and ye would not.
23-30:17 One thousand shall
flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of
five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and
as an ensign on an hill.
23-30:29 Ye
shall have a song, as in the night when a
holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one
goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel.
23-31:1 Woe
to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in
chariots, because they are many; and
in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
23-33:20 Look
upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet
habitation, a tabernacle that shall
not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof
shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
23-34:15 There
shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow:
there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one
with her mate.
23-34:16 Seek
ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one
of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded,
and his spirit it hath gathered them.
23-36:9 How
then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain
of the least of my master’s servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots
and for horsemen?
23-36:16 Hearken
not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by
a present, and come out to me: and eat ye every one
of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and
drink ye every one the waters of his own
cistern;
23-37:23 Whom
hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy
voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
23-40:25 To
whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.
23-40:26 Lift
up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth
out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his
might, for that he is strong in power; not one
faileth.
23-41:6 They
helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.
23-41:14 Fear
not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD,
and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
23-41:16 Thou
shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall
scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.
23-41:20 That
they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of
the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of
Israel hath created it.
23-41:25 I
have raised up one from the north, and he shall come:
from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon
princes as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay.
23-41:27 The
first shall say to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings.
23-43:3 For
I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel,
thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
23-43:7 Even
every one that is called by my name: for I have
created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
23-43:14 Thus
saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of
Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their
nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
23-43:15 I
am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of
Israel, your King.
23-44:5 One shall say, I am the Lord’s; and another shall call
himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto
the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
23-45:11 Thus
saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his
Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of
my hands command ye me.
23-45:24 Surely,
shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness
and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him
shall be ashamed.
23-46:7 They
bear him upon the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place, and he
standeth; from his place shall he not remove: yea, one
shall cry unto him, yet can he not answer, nor save him out of his trouble.
23-47:4 As
for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.
23-47:9 But
these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one
day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their
perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of
thine enchantments.
23-47:15 Thus
shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from
thy youth: they shall wander every one to his
quarter; none shall save thee.
23-48:17 Thus
saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of
Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee
by the way that thou shouldest go.
23-49:7 Thus
saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One,
to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of
rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the
LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of
Israel, and he shall choose thee.
23-49:26 And
I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be
drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that
I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One
of Jacob.
23-53:6 All
we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one
to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
23-54:5 For
thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the
Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth
shall he be called.
23-55:1 Ho,
every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters,
and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk
without money and without price.
23-55:5 Behold,
thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee
shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
23-56:6 Also
the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and
to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of
my covenant;
23-56:11 Yea,
they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that
cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
23-57:2 He
shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
23-57:15 For
thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth
eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also
that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
23-60:9 Surely
the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons
from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy
God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he
hath glorified thee.
23-60:14 The
sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all
they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and
they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
23-60:16 Thou
shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings:
and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty
One of Jacob.
23-60:22 A
little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his
time.
23-65:8 Thus
saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so
will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
23-66:8 Who
hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to
bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be
born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
23-66:13 As
one whom his mother comforteth, so will I
comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
23-66:17 They
that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the
abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
23-66:23 And
it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to
another, and from one sabbath to another, shall
all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
24-1:15 For,
lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and
they shall come, and they shall set every one
his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls
thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
24-3:14 Turn,
O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will
take you one of a city, and two of a family, and
I will bring you to Zion:
24-5:6 Wherefore
a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall
spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces:
because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.
24-5:8 They
were as fed horses in the morning: every one
neighed after his neighbour’s wife.
24-6:3 The
shepherds with their flocks shall come unto her; they shall pitch their tents
against her round about; they shall feed every one
in his place.
24-6:13 For
from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet
even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
24-8:6 I
hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his
wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one
turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.
24-8:10 Therefore
will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall
inherit them: for every one from the least even
unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the
priest every one dealeth falsely.
24-9:4 Take
ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye
not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every
neighbour will walk with slanders.
24-9:5 And
they will deceive every one his neighbour, and
will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and
weary themselves to commit iniquity.
24-9:8 Their
tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one
speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his
wait.
24-9:20 Yet
hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his
mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one
her neighbour lamentation.
24-10:3 For
the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth
a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the ax.
24-11:8 Yet
they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I
will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to
do; but they did them not.
24-12:12 The
spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of
the LORD shall devour from the one end of the
land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.
24-13:14 And
I will dash them one against another, even the
fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor
have mercy, but destroy them.
24-15:10 Woe
is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of
contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent
to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse
me.
24-16:12 And
ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they
may not hearken unto me:
24-18:11 Now
therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise
a device against you: return ye now every one
from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
24-18:12 And
they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we
will every one do the imagination of his evil
heart.
24-18:16 To
make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag
his head.
24-19:8 And
I will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every one
that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues
thereof.
24-19:9 And
I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their
daughters, and they shall eat every one the
flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and
they that seek their lives, shall straiten them.
24-19:11 And
shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this
people and this city, as one breaketh a potter’s
vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet,
till there be no place to bury.
24-20:7 O
LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and
hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one
mocketh me.
24-20:11 But
the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore
my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly
ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be
forgotten.
24-22:7 And
I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one
with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into
the fire.
24-23:17 They
say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace;
and they say unto every one that walketh after
the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
24-23:30 Therefore,
behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
24-23:35 Thus
shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and
every one to his brother, What hath the LORD
answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken?
24-24:2 One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that
are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be
eaten, they were so bad.
24-25:5 They
said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil
way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath
given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever:
24-25:26 And
all the kings of the north, far and near, one
with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the
earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
24-25:33 And
the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one
end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be
lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.
24-30:14 All
thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee
with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy
sins were increased.
24-30:16 Therefore
all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that
spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a
prey.
24-31:30 But
every one shall die for his own iniquity: every
man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
24-32:19 Great
in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the
sons of men: to give every one according to his
ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
24-32:39 And
I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good
of them, and of their children after them:
24-34:10 Now
when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant,
heard that every one should let his manservant,
and every one his maidservant, go free, that
none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed, and let them
go.
24-34:17 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty,
every one to his brother, and every man to his
neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword,
to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into
all the kingdoms of the earth.
24-35:2 Go
unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the
house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and
give them wine to drink.
24-36:7 It
may be they will present their supplication before the LORD, and will return
every one from his evil way: for great is the
anger and the fury that the LORD hath pronounced against this people.
24-36:16 Now
it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely
tell the king of all these words.
24-38:7 Now
when Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, one of the
eunuchs which was in the king’s house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the
dungeon; the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin;
24-46:16 He
made many to fall, yea, one fell upon another:
and they said, Arise, and let us go again to our own people, and to the land of
our nativity, from the oppressing sword.
24-49:17 Also
Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth
by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof.
24-50:13 Because
of the wrath of the LORD it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly
desolate: every one that goeth by Babylon shall
be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.
24-50:16 Cut
off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of
harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.
24-50:29 Call
together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it
round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work;
according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath been proud
against the LORD, against the Holy One of
Israel.
24-50:42 They
shall hold the bow and the lance: they are cruel, and will not shew mercy:
their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee,
O daughter of Babylon.
24-51:5 For
Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts;
though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One
of Israel.
24-51:9 We
would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go
every one into his own country: for her judgment
reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.
24-51:31 One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to shew the king of
Babylon that his city is taken at one end,
24-51:46 And
lest your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the
land; a rumour shall both come one year, and
after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler
against ruler.
24-51:56 Because
the spoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken,
every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD
God of recompenses shall surely requite.
24-52:1 Zedekiah
was one and twenty years old when he began to
reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was
Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
24-52:20 The
two pillars, one sea, and twelve brasen bulls
that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the
LORD: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
24-52:21 And
concerning the pillars, the height of one pillar
was eighteen cubits; and a fillet of twelve cubits did compass it; and the
thickness thereof was four fingers: it was hollow.
24-52:22 And
a chapiter of brass was upon it; and the height of one
chapiter was five cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the chapiters
round about, all of brass. The second pillar also and the pomegranates were
like unto these.
26-1:6 And
every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
26-1:9 Their
wings were joined one to another; they turned
not when they went; they went every one straight
forward.
26-1:11 Thus
were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to
another, and two covered their bodies.
26-1:12 And
they went every one straight forward: whither
the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.
26-1:15 Now
as I beheld the living creatures, behold one
wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.
26-1:16 The
appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl:
and they four had one likeness: and their
appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
26-1:23 And
under the firmament were their wings straight, the one
toward the other: every one had two, which
covered on this side, and every one had two,
which covered on that side, their bodies.
26-1:28 As
the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the
appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the
likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and
I heard a voice of one that spake.
26-3:13 I
heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against
them, and a noise of a great rushing.
26-4:8 And,
behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of
thy siege.
26-4:9 Take
thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and
fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make
thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie
upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
26-4:17 That
they may want bread and water, and be astonied one
with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
26-7:16 But
they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves
of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one
for his iniquity.
26-9:2 And,
behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the
north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a
writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen
altar.
26-10:7 And
one cherub stretched forth his hand from between
the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof,
and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and
went out.
26-10:9 And
when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another
wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of
a beryl stone.
26-10:10 And
as for their appearances, they four had one
likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.
26-10:14 And
every one had four faces: the first face was the
face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the
face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
26-10:19 And
the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight:
when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD’S
house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
26-10:21 Every
one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man
was under their wings.
26-10:22 And
the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of
Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.
26-11:5 And
the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD;
Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your
mind, every one of them.
26-11:19 And
I will give them one heart, and I will put a new
spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will
give them an heart of flesh:
26-13:10 Because,
even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no
peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others
daubed it with untempered morter:
26-14:7 For
every one of the house of Israel, or of the
stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and
setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his
iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning
me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:
26-15:7 And
I will set my face against them; they shall go out from one fire, and another fire shall devour them; and ye shall know
that I am the LORD, when I set my face against them.
26-16:15 But
thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy
renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one
that passed by; his it was.
26-16:25 Thou
hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to
be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one
that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.
26-16:44 Behold,
every one that useth proverbs shall use this
proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
26-17:22 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar,
and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and
eminent:
26-18:10 If
he beget a son that is a robber, a shedder of blood, and that doeth the like to
any one of these things,
26-18:30 Therefore
I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one
according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all
your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
26-19:3 And
she brought up one of her whelps: it became a
young lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men.
26-20:39 As
for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken
unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your
idols.
26-21:16 Go
thee one way or other, either on the right hand,
or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set.
26-21:19 Also,
thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon
may come: both twain shall come forth out of one
land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city.
26-22:6 Behold,
the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to
their power to shed blood.
26-22:11 And
one hath committed abomination with his
neighbour’s wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and
another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.
26-23:2 Son
of man, there were two women, the daughters of one
mother:
26-23:13 Then
I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one
way,
26-24:23 And
your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall
not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.
26-31:11 I
have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I
have driven him out for his wickedness.
26-33:20 Yet
ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge
you every one after his ways.
26-33:21 And
it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in
the fifth day of the month, that one that had
escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.
26-33:24 Son
of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying,
Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but
we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.
26-33:26 Ye
stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour’s wife: and shall ye possess the
land?
26-33:30 Also,
thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by
the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one
to another, every one to his brother, saying,
Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.
26-33:32 And,
lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one
that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear
thy words, but they do them not.
26-34:23 And
I will set up one shepherd over them, and he
shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be
their shepherd.
26-37:16 Moreover,
thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write
upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take
another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all
the house of Israel his companions:
26-37:17 And
join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
26-37:19 Say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph,
which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will
put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one
in mine hand.
26-37:22 And
I will make them one nation in the land upon the
mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king
to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be
divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
26-37:24 And
David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments,
and observe my statutes, and do them.
26-39:7 So
will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not
let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am
the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
26-40:5 And
behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man’s hand a measuring
reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the
breadth of the building, one reed; and the
height, one reed.
26-40:6 Then
came he unto the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up the stairs
thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad; and the other threshold of the gate,
which was one reed broad.
26-40:7 And
every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed broad; and between the little chambers were
five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reed.
26-40:8 He
measured also the porch of the gate within, one
reed.
26-40:10 And
the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on
that side; they three were of one measure: and
the posts had one measure on this side and on
that side.
26-40:12 The
space also before the little chambers was one
cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit
on that side: and the little chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits
on that side.
26-40:13 He
measured then the gate from the roof of one
little chamber to the roof of another: the breadth was five and twenty cubits,
door against door.
26-40:26 And
there were seven steps to go up to it, and the arches thereof were before them:
and it had palm trees, one on this side, and
another on that side, upon the posts thereof.
26-40:40 And
at the side without, as one goeth up to the
entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at
the porch of the gate, were two tables.
26-40:42 And
the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and an
half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one
cubit high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the
burnt offering and the sacrifice.
26-40:44 And
without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court,
which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the
south: one at the side of the east gate having the
prospect toward the north.
26-40:49 The
length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits; and he
brought me by the steps whereby they went up to it: and there were pillars by
the posts, one on this side, and another on that
side.
26-41:1 Afterward
he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side,
which was the breadth of the tabernacle.
26-41:2 And
the breadth of the door was ten cubits: and the sides of the door were five
cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the
other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth,
twenty cubits.
26-41:6 And
the side chambers were three, one over another,
and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for
the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold
in the wall of the house.
26-41:11 And
the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the
south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.
26-41:15 And
he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which
was behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one
side and on the other side, an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the
porches of the court;
26-41:19 So
that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one
side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side: it
was made through all the house round about.
26-41:21 The
posts of the temple were squared, and the face of the sanctuary; the appearance
of the one as the appearance of the other.
26-41:24 And
the doors had two leaves apiece, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door.
26-41:26 And
there were narrow windows and palm trees on the one
side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side
chambers of the house, and thick planks.
26-42:4 And
before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.
26-42:9 And
from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.
26-42:12 And
according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door in
the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.
26-43:14 And
from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits,
and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser
settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.
26-45:7 And
a portion shall be for the prince on the one
side and on the other side of the oblation of the holy portion, and of the
possession of the city, before the oblation of the holy portion, and before the
possession of the city, from the west side westward, and from the east side
eastward: and the length shall be over against one
of the portions, from the west border unto the east border.
26-45:11 The
ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, that
the bath may contain the tenth part of an homer, and the ephah the tenth part
of an homer: the measure thereof shall be after the homer.
26-45:15 And
one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred,
out of the fat pastures of Israel; for a meat offering, and for a burnt
offering, and for peace offerings, to make reconciliation for them, saith the
Lord GOD.
26-45:20 And
so thou shalt do the seventh day of the month for every one that erreth, and for him that is simple: so shall ye reconcile
the house.
26-46:12 Now
when the prince shall prepare a voluntary burnt offering or peace offerings
voluntarily unto the LORD, one shall then open
him the gate that looketh toward the east, and he shall prepare his burnt
offering and his peace offerings, as he did on the sabbath day: then he shall
go forth; and after his going forth one shall
shut the gate.
26-46:17 But
if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of
his servants, then it shall be his to the year of liberty; after it shall
return to the prince: but his inheritance shall be his sons’ for them.
26-46:22 In
the four corners of the court there were courts joined of forty cubits long and
thirty broad: these four corners were of one
measure.
26-47:7 Now
when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on
the one side and on the other.
26-47:14 And
ye shall inherit it, one as well as another:
concerning the which I lifted up mine hand to give it unto your fathers: and
this land shall fall unto you for inheritance.
26-48:1 Now
these are the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way
of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan,
the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his
sides east and west; a portion for Dan.
26-48:8 And
by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the
offering which ye shall offer of five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and
in length as one of the other parts, from the
east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.
26-48:21 And
the residue shall be for the prince, on the one
side and on the other of the holy oblation, and of the possession of the city,
over against the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the east
border, and westward over against the five and twenty thousand toward the west
border, over against the portions for the prince: and it shall be the holy
oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.
26-48:31 And
the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three
gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one
gate of Levi.
26-48:32 And
at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one
gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan.
26-48:33 And
at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one
gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.
26-48:34 At
the west side four thousand and five hundred, with their three gates; one gate of Gad, one
gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali.
27-2:9 But
if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and
corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me
the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof.
27-2:43 And
whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves
with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one
to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
27-3:19 Then
was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they
should heat the furnace one seven times more
than it was wont to be heated.
27-4:13 I
saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;
27-4:19 Then
Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonied for one
hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar,
let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar
answered and said, My lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the
interpretation thereof to thine enemies.
27-4:23 And
whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one
coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet
leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and
brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of
heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times
pass over him;
27-5:6 Then
the king’s countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the
joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one
against another.
27-7:3 And
four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one
from another.
27-7:5 And
behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it
between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.
27-7:13 I
saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like
the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days,
and they brought him near before him.
27-7:16 I
came near unto one of them that stood by, and
asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the
interpretation of the things.
27-8:3 Then
I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram
which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one
was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
27-8:9 And
out of one of them came forth a little horn,
which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward
the pleasant land.
27-8:13 Then
I heard one saint speaking, and another saint
said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning
the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the
sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
27-9:27 And
he shall confirm the covenant with many for one
week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the
oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it
desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon
the desolate.
27-10:13 But
the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one
and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the
chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
27-10:16 And,
behold, one like the similitude of the sons of
men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that
stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I
have retained no strength.
27-10:18 Then
there came again and touched me one like the
appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
27-11:5 And
the king of the south shall be strong, and one
of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his
dominion shall be a great dominion.
27-11:7 But
out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up
in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress
of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:
27-11:10 But
his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces:
and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and
pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.
27-11:27 And
both these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end
shall be at the time appointed.
27-12:1 And
at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the
children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was
since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people
shall be delivered, every one that shall be
found written in the book.
27-12:5 Then
I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the
other on that side of the bank of the river.
27-12:6 And
one said to the man clothed in linen, which was
upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
28-1:11 Then
shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together,
and appoint themselves one head, and they shall
come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.
28-4:3 Therefore
shall the land mourn, and every one that
dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the
fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
28-11:9 I
will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy
Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One
in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.
29-2:7 They
shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they
shall march every one on his ways, and they
shall not break their ranks:
29-2:8 Neither
shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword,
they shall not be wounded.
30-3:5 Can
a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken
nothing at all?
30-4:7 And
also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to
the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one
city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one
piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.
30-4:8 So
two or three cities wandered unto one city, to
drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me,
saith the LORD.
30-6:9 And
it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one
house, that they shall die.
30-6:12 Shall
horses run upon the rock? will one plow there with
oxen? for ye have turned judgment into gall, and the fruit of righteousness
into hemlock:
30-8:8 Shall
not the land tremble for this, and every one
mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it
shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
31-1:9 And
thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.
31-1:11 In
the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers
carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and
cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one
of them.
32-1:7 And
they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let
us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they
cast lots, and the lot fell upon Jonah.
32-3:8 But
let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea,
let them turn every one from his evil way, and
from the violence that is in their hands.
33-2:4 In
that day shall one take up a parable against
you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he
hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning
away he hath divided our fields.
33-4:5 For
all people will walk every one in the name of
his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.
34-1:11 There
is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil
against the LORD, a wicked counsellor.
34-2:4 The
chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one
against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run
like the lightnings.
35-1:12 Art
thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One?
we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty
God, thou hast established them for correction.
35-3:3 God
came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount
Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his
praise.
36-2:11 The
LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth;
and men shall worship him, every one from his
place, even all the isles of the heathen.
36-2:15 This
is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and
there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to
lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall
hiss, and wag his hand.
36-3:9 For
then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the
name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
37-2:1 In
the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day
of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,
37-2:12 If
one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment,
and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat,
shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
37-2:13 Then
said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead
body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and
said, It shall be unclean.
37-2:16 Since
those days were, when one came to an heap of
twenty measures, there were but ten: when one
came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were
but twenty.
37-2:22 And
I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the
kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride
in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
38-3:9 For
behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one
stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith
the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
38-4:3 And
two olive trees by it, one upon the right side
of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
38-5:3 Then
said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole
earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut
off as on this side according to it; and every one
that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.
38-8:10 For
before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither
was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction:
for I set all men every one against his
neighbour.
38-8:21 And
the inhabitants of one city shall go to another,
saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of
hosts: I will go also.
38-10:1 Ask
ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make
bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one
grass in the field.
38-11:6 For
I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I
will deliver the men every one into his
neighbour’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land,
and out of their hand I will not deliver them.
38-11:7 And
I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took
unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and
the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
38-11:8 Three
shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my
soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
38-11:9 Then
said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to
be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
38-11:16 For,
lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be
cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor
heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat
the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
38-12:10 And
I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the
spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they
have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one
mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
38-13:4 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the
prophets shall be ashamed every one of his
vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:
38-13:6 And
one shall
say unto him, What are these wounds
in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those
with which I was wounded in the
house of my friends.
38-14:7 But
it shall be one day which shall be known to the
LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
38-14:9 And
the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
38-14:13 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that a
great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall
rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
38-14:16 And
it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against
Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of
hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
39-2:3 Behold,
I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.
39-2:10 Have
we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every
man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
39-2:15 And
did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of
the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might
seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal
treacherously against the wife of his youth.
39-2:16 For
the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth
violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your
spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
39-2:17 Ye
have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or,
Where is the God of judgment?
39-3:16 Then
they that feared the LORD spake often one to
another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it,
and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the
LORD, and that thought upon his name.
40-3:3 For
this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of
the Lord, make his paths straight.
40-5:18 For
verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one
jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the
law, till all be fulfilled.
40-5:19 Whosoever
therefore shall break one of these least commandments,
and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:
but whosoever shall do and teach them, the
same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
40-5:29 And
if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into
hell.
40-5:30 And
if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into
hell.
40-5:36 Neither
shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
40-6:24 No
man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one,
and love the other; or else he will hold to the one,
and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
40-6:27 Which
of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto
his stature?
40-6:29 And
yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
40-7:8 For
every one that asketh receiveth; and he that
seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
40-7:21 Not
every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall
enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which
is in heaven.
40-7:26 And
every one that heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house
upon the sand:
40-7:29 For
he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
40-10:29 Are
not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of
them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
40-10:42 And
whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these
little ones a cup of cold water only
in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his
reward.
40-12:6 But
I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
40-12:11 And
he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath
day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it
out?
40-12:22 Then
was brought unto him one possessed with a devil,
blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake
and saw.
40-12:29 Or
else how can one enter into a strong man’s
house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he
will spoil his house.
40-12:47 Then
one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy
brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
40-13:19 When
any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and
understandeth it not, then cometh the
wicked one,
and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which
received seed by the way side.
40-13:38 The
field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the
tares are the children of the wicked one;
40-13:46 Who,
when he had found one pearl of great price, went
and sold all that he had, and bought it.
40-16:14 And
they said, Some say that thou art John
the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one
of the prophets.
40-17:4 Then
answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if
thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one
for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
40-18:5 And
whoso shall receive one such little child in my
name receiveth me.
40-18:6 But
whoso shall offend one of these little ones
which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about
his neck, and that he were drowned in
the depth of the sea.
40-18:9 And
if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into
hell fire.
40-18:10 Take
heed that ye despise not one of these little
ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face
of my Father which is in heaven.
40-18:12 How
think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one
of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into
the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
40-18:14 Even
so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
40-18:16 But
if he will not hear thee, then take
with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of
two or three witnesses every word may be established.
40-18:24 And
when he had begun to reckon, one was brought
unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
40-18:28 But
the same servant went out, and found one of his
fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and
took him by the throat, saying, Pay
me that thou owest.
40-18:35 So
likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts
forgive not every one his brother their
trespasses.
40-19:5 And
said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to
his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
40-19:6 Wherefore
they are no more twain, but one flesh. What
therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
40-19:16 And,
behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master,
what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
40-19:17 And
he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there
is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the
commandments.
40-19:29 And
every one that hath forsaken houses, or
brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for
my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting
life.
40-20:12 Saying,
These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which
have borne the burden and heat of the day.
40-20:13 But
he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do
thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
40-20:21 And
he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two
sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the
other on the left, in thy kingdom.
40-21:24 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one
thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do
these things.
40-21:35 And
the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one,
and killed another, and stoned another.
40-22:5 But
they made light of it, and went their
ways, one to his farm, another to his
merchandise:
40-22:35 Then
one of them, which
was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting
him, and saying,
40-23:4 For
they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one
of their fingers.
40-23:8 But
be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
40-23:9 And
call no man your father upon the
earth: for one is your Father, which is in
heaven.
40-23:10 Neither
be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
40-23:15 Woe
unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to
make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make
him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
40-24:2 And
Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There
shall not be left here one stone upon another,
that shall not be thrown down.
40-24:10 And
then shall many be offended, and shall betray one
another, and shall hate one another.
40-24:31 And
he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather
together his elect from the four winds, from one
end of heaven to the other.
40-24:40 Then
shall two be in the field; the one shall be
taken, and the other left.
40-24:41 Two
women shall be grinding at the mill;
the one shall be taken, and the other left.
40-25:15 And
unto one he gave five talents, to another two,
and to another one; to every man according to
his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
40-25:18 But
he that had received one went and digged in the
earth, and hid his lord’s money.
40-25:24 Then
he which had received the one talent came and
said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not
sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
40-25:29 For
unto every one that hath shall be given, and he
shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that
which he hath.
40-25:32 And
before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
40-25:40 And
the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye
have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
40-25:45 Then
shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one
of the least of these, ye did it not
to me.
40-26:14 Then
one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went
unto the chief priests,
40-26:21 And
as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one
of you shall betray me.
40-26:22 And
they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one
of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?
40-26:40 And
he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter,
What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
40-26:47 And
while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the
twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the
chief priests and elders of the people.
40-26:51 And,
