01-GENESIS
01-7:4 For
yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty
nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
01-8:3 And
the waters returned from off the earth
continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were
abated.
01-8:7 And
he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried
up from off the earth.
01-8:8 Also
he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
01-8:11 And
the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
01-8:13 And
it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the
ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
01-9:11 And
I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall
there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
01-11:8 So
the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and
they left off to build the city.
01-17:14 And
the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised,
that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath
broken my covenant.
01-17:22 And
he left off talking with him, and God went up
from Abraham.
01-21:16 And
she went, and sat her down over against him
a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she
said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.
01-22:4 Then
on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
01-24:64 And
Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel.
01-27:40 And
by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to
pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.
01-37:18 And
when they saw him afar off, even before he came
near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.
01-38:14 And
she put her widow’s garments off from her, and
covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for she saw
that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife.
01-40:19 Yet
within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off
thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.
01-41:42 And
Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put
it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a
gold chain about his neck;
01-44:4 And when they were gone out of the city,
and not yet far off, Joseph said unto his steward,
Up, follow after the men; and when thou dost overtake them, say unto them,
Wherefore have ye rewarded evil for good?
02-EXODUS
02-2:4 And
his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be
done to him.
02-3:5 And
he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes
from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou
standest is holy ground.
02-4:25 Then
Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the
foreskin of her son, and cast it at
his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art
thou to me.
02-9:15 For
now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with
pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the
earth.
02-12:15 Seven
days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven
out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day
until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off
from Israel.
02-12:19 Seven
days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that
which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off
from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
02-14:25 And
took off their chariot wheels, that they drave
them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel;
for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.
02-20:18 And
all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the
trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.
02-20:21 And
the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near
unto the thick darkness where God was.
02-23:23 For
mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the
Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:
and I will cut them off.
02-24:1 And
he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu,
and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.
02-30:33 Whosoever
compoundeth any like it, or whosoever
putteth any of it upon a stranger,
shall even be cut off from his people.
02-30:38 Whosoever
shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.
02-31:14 Ye
shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is
holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for
whosoever doeth any work therein,
that soul shall be cut off from among his
people.
02-32:2 And
Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden
earrings, which are in the ears of
your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
02-32:3 And
all the people brake off the golden earrings
which were in their ears, and brought
them unto Aaron.
02-32:24 And
I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and
there came out this calf.
02-33:5 For
the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up
into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to
do unto thee.
02-33:7 And
Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the
congregation. And it came to pass, that every
one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation,
which was without the camp.
02-34:34 But
when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake
unto the children of Israel that which
he was commanded.
03-LEVITICUS
03-1:15 And
the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off
his head, and burn it on the altar;
and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar:
03-3:9 And
he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire
unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the
whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the
backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
03-4:8 And
he shall take off from it all the fat of the
bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the
fat that is upon the inwards,
03-4:10 As
it was taken off from the bullock of the
sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of
the burnt offering.
03-4:31 And
he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest
shall burn it upon the altar for a
sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and
it shall be forgiven him.
03-5:8 And
he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin
offering first, and wring off his head from his
neck, but shall not divide it asunder:
03-6:11 And
he shall put off his garments, and put on other
garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.
03-7:20 But
the soul that eateth of the flesh of
the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain
unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut
off from his people.
03-7:21 Moreover
the soul that shall touch any unclean thing,
as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean
beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and
eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul
shall be cut off from his people.
03-7:25 For
whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by
fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
03-7:27 Whatsoever
soul it be that eateth any manner of
blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his
people.
03-7:34 For
the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel
from off the sacrifices of their peace
offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a
statute for ever from among the children of Israel.
03-8:28 And
Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar upon the burnt
offering: they were consecrations for
a sweet savour: it is an offering
made by fire unto the LORD.
03-13:40 And
the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.
03-13:41 And
he that hath his hair fallen off from the part
of his head toward his face, he is forehead
bald: yet is he clean.
03-14:8 And
he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he
may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry
abroad out of his tent seven days.
03-14:9 But
it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all
his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash
his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.
03-14:41 And
he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour
out the dust that they scrape off without the
city into an unclean place:
03-16:12 And
he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of
sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within
the vail:
03-16:23 And
Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went
into the holy place, and shall leave
them there:
03-17:4 And
bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer
an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be
imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
03-17:9 And
bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer
it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off
from among his people.
03-17:10 And
whatsoever man there be of the house
of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner
of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will
cut him off from among his people.
03-17:14 For
it is the life of all flesh; the
blood of it is for the life thereof:
therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no
manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is
the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
03-18:29 For
whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
03-19:8 Therefore
every one that eateth it shall bear
his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that
soul shall be cut off from among his people.
03-20:3 And
I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off
from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile
my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
03-20:5 Then
I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit
whoredom with Molech, from among their people.
03-20:6 And
the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards,
to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will
cut him off from among his people.
03-20:17 And
if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s
daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut
off in the sight of their people: he hath
uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
03-20:18 And
if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness;
he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her
blood: and both of them shall be cut off from
among their people.
03-21:5 They
shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings
in their flesh.
03-22:3 Say
unto them, Whosoever he be of all
your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the
children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that
soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.
03-23:29 For
whatsoever soul it be that shall not
be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off
from among his people.
04-NUMBERS
04-2:2 Every
man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign
of their father’s house: far off about the
tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.
04-4:18 Cut
ye not off the tribe of the families of the
Kohathites from among the Levites:
04-7:89 And
when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him,
then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off
the mercy seat that was upon the ark
of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.
04-9:10 Speak
unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity
shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he
shall keep the passover unto the LORD.
04-9:13 But
the man that is clean, and is not in
a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut
off from among his people: because he brought
not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his
sin.
04-10:11 And
it came to pass on the twentieth day of
the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.
04-12:10 And
the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and,
behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon
Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.
04-15:30 But
the soul that doeth ought presumptuously,
whether he be born in the land, or a
stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
04-15:31 Because
he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that
soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.
04-16:46 And
Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto
the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out
from the LORD; the plague is begun.
04-19:13 Whosoever
toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself,
defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was
not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.
04-19:20 But
the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be
cut off from among the congregation, because he
hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been
sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-4:26 I
call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon
utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go
over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.
05-6:15 (For
the LORD thy God is a jealous God
among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and
destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
05-11:17 And
then the LORD’S wrath be kindled
against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the
land yield not her fruit; and lest ye
perish quickly from off the good land which the
LORD giveth you.
05-12:29 When
the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from
before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and
dwellest in their land;
05-13:7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or
far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
05-19:1 When
the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose
land the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in
their cities, and in their houses;
05-20:15 Thus
shalt thou do unto all the cities which
are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.
05-21:4 And
the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which
is neither eared nor sown, and shall strike off
the heifer’s neck there in the valley:
05-21:13 And
she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off
her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a
full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and
she shall be thy wife.
05-23:1 He
that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the
LORD.
05-25:9 Then
shall his brother’s wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose
his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his
face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not
build up his brother’s house.
05-25:12 Then
thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not
pity her.
05-28:21 The
LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee
from off the land, whither thou goest to possess
it.
05-28:63 And
it shall come to pass, that as the
LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will
rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be
plucked from off the land whither thou goest to
possess it.
05-30:11 For
this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
06-JOSHUA
06-3:13 And
it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear
the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of
Jordan, that the waters of Jordan
shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand
upon an heap.
06-3:16 That
the waters which came down from above stood and
rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the
plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off:
and the people passed over right against Jericho.
06-4:7 Then
ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when
it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off:
and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.
06-5:9 And
the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt
from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is
called Gilgal unto this day.
06-5:15 And
the captain of the LORD’S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
06-7:9 For
the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and
cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt
thou do unto thy great name?
06-10:27 And
it came to pass at the time of the going down of the sun, that Joshua commanded, and they took them down off the trees, and cast them into the cave wherein
they had been hid, and laid great stones in the cave’s mouth, which remain until this very day.
06-11:21 And
at that time came Joshua, and cut off the
Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all
the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed
them utterly with their cities.
06-15:18 And
it came to pass, as she came unto him, that
she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass;
and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?
06-23:4 Behold,
I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance
for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even unto the great sea westward.
06-23:13 Know
for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you;
but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and
thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off
this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.
06-23:15 Therefore
it shall come to pass, that as all
good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall
the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given
you.
06-23:16 When
ye have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you,
and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall
the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you.
07-JUDGES
07-1:6 But
Adonibezek fled; and they pursued after him, and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his great toes.
07-1:7 And
Adonibezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great
toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me.
And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.
07-1:14 And
it came to pass, when she came to him, that
she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted from off her ass;
and Caleb said unto her, What wilt thou?
07-4:15 And
the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots,
and all his host, with the edge of
the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off
his chariot, and fled away on his
feet.
07-5:26 She
put her hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workmen’s hammer; and with
the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote off his
head, when she had pierced and stricken through his temples.
07-13:20 For
it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in
the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground.
07-15:14 And when he came unto Lehi, the
Philistines shouted against him: and the spirit of the LORD came mightily upon
him, and the cords that were upon his
arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.
07-16:12 Delilah
therefore took new ropes, and bound him therewith, and said unto him, The
Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And
there were liers in wait abiding in
the chamber. And he brake them from off his arms
like a thread.
07-16:19 And
she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him
to shave off the seven locks of his head; and
she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.
07-21:6 And
the children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said,
There is one tribe cut off from Israel this day.
08-RUTH
08-2:20 And
Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left off
his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of our next
kinsmen.
08-4:7 Now
this was the manner in former time in
Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things;
a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.
08-4:8 Therefore
the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for
thee. So he drew off his shoe.
08-4:10 Moreover
Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to
raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead
be not cut off from among his brethren, and from
the gate of his place: ye are witnesses
this day.
09-1 SAMUEL
09-2:31 Behold,
the days come, that I will cut off thine arm,
and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine
house.
09-2:33 And
the man of thine, whom I shall not cut
off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all
the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.

oblation, as if he offered swine’s
blood; he that burneth incense, as if he
blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul
delighteth in their abominations.
23-66:19 And
I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto
the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and
Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and
Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my
glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
24-JEREMIAH
24-7:28 But
thou shalt say unto them, This is a
nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth
correction: truth is perished, and is cut off
from their mouth.
24-7:29 Cut
off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away,
and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and
forsaken the generation of his wrath.
24-9:21 For
death is come up into our windows, and is
entered into our palaces, to cut off the
children from without, and the young
men from the streets.
24-11:19 But
I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had
devised devices against me, saying, Let
us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be
no more remembered.
24-23:23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and
not a God afar off?
24-24:10 And
I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be
consumed from off the land that I gave unto them
and to their fathers.
24-28:10 Then
Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the
prophet Jeremiah’s neck, and brake it.
24-28:12 Then
the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the
prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
24-28:16 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off
the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught
rebellion against the LORD.
24-30:8 For
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers
shall no more serve themselves of him:
24-31:10 Hear
the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say,
He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
24-31:37 Thus
saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the
earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off
all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
24-33:24 Considerest
thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD
hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus
they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
24-38:27 Then
came all the princes unto Jeremiah, and asked him: and he told them according
to all these words that the king had commanded. So they left off speaking with him; for the matter was not
perceived.
24-44:7 Therefore
now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit
ye this great evil against your
souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child
and suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain;
24-44:8 In
that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense
unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye
might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a
curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?
24-44:11 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face
against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah.
24-44:18 But
since we left off to burn incense to the queen
of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the
sword and by the famine.
24-46:27 But
fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold,
I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed
from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at
ease, and none shall make him afraid.
24-47:4 Because
of the day that cometh to spoil all the Philistines, and to cut off from Tyrus and Zidon
every helper that remaineth: for the LORD will spoil the Philistines, the
remnant of the country of Caphtor.
24-47:5 Baldness
is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off with the remnant of their valley: how
long wilt thou cut thyself?
24-48:2 There shall be no more praise of Moab:
in Heshbon they have devised evil against it; come, and let us cut it off from being a
nation. Also thou shalt be cut down, O Madmen; the sword shall pursue thee.
24-48:25 The
horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken,
saith the LORD.
24-49:26 Therefore
her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts.
24-49:30 Flee,
get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of
Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel
against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you.
24-50:16 Cut
off the sower from Babylon, and him that
handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword
they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his
own land.
24-50:30 Therefore
shall her young men fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD.
24-51:6 Flee
out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’S vengeance; he will render unto her a
recompence.
24-51:50 Ye
that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.
24-51:62 Then
shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor
beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.
25-LAMENTATIONS
25-2:3 He
hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his
right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming
fire, which devoureth round about.
25-2:7 The
Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred
his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her
palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a
solemn feast.
25-3:17 And
thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I
forgat prosperity.
25-3:31 For
the Lord will not cast off for ever:
25-3:53 They
have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a
stone upon me.
25-3:54 Waters
flowed over mine head; then I said, I
am cut off.
26-EZEKIEL
26-6:12 He
that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and
he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged
shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
26-8:6 He
said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the
house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off
from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and
thou shalt see greater abominations.
26-10:18 Then
the glory of the LORD departed from off the
threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.
26-11:16 Therefore
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them
among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the
countries where they shall come.
26-12:27 Son
of man, behold, they of the house of
Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for
many days to come, and he prophesieth
of the times that are far off.
26-14:8 And
I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb,
and I will cut him off from the midst of my
people; and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-14:13 Son
of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I
stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof,
and will send famine upon it, and will cut off
man and beast from it:
26-14:17 Or
if I bring a sword upon that land,
and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off
man and beast from it:
26-14:19 Or
if I send a pestilence into that
land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off
from it man and beast:
26-14:21 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon
Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the
pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
26-17:4 He
cropped off the top of his young twigs, and
carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants.
26-17:9 Say
thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots
thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it
wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great
power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof.
26-17:17 Neither
shall Pharaoh with his mighty army
and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building
forts, to cut off many persons:
26-17:22 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar,
and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and
will plant it upon an high mountain
and eminent:
26-18:17 That hath taken off
his hand from the poor, that hath not
received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my
statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely
live.
26-21:3 And
say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath,
and will cut off from thee the righteous and the
wicked.
26-21:4 Seeing
then that I will cut off from thee the righteous
and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all
flesh from the south to the north:
26-21:26 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off
the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him
that is high.
26-23:34 Thou
shalt even drink it and suck it out, and
thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off
thine own breasts: for I have spoken it, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-25:7 Behold,
therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a
spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off
from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will
destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am
the LORD.
26-25:13 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will
cut off man and beast from it; and I will make
it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
26-25:16 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the
Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims,
and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
26-26:16 Then
all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away
their robes, and put off their broidered
garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the
ground, and shall tremble at every moment,
and be astonished at thee.
26-29:8 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.
26-30:15 And
I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
26-31:12 And
strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off,
and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are
fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the
people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.
26-35:7 Thus
will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off
from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
26-37:11 Then
he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold,
they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
26-44:19 And
when they go forth into the utter court, even
into the utter court to the people, they shall put off
their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and
they shall put on other garments; and they shall not sanctify the people with
their garments.
27-DANIEL
27-4:14 He
cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off
his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter
his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his
branches:
27-4:27 Wherefore,
O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by
shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
27-9:7 O
Lord, righteousness belongeth unto
thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and
to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far
off, through all the countries whither thou hast
driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
27-9:26 And
after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off,
but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy
the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are
determined.
28-HOSEA
28-4:10 For
they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not
increase: because they have left off to take
heed to the LORD.
28-8:3 Israel
hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him.
28-8:4 They
have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have
they made them idols, that they may be cut off.
28-8:5 Thy
calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?
28-10:7 As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.
28-10:15 So
shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall
the king of Israel utterly be cut off.
28-11:4 I
drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they
that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid
meat unto them.
29-JOEL
29-1:5 Awake,
ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new
wine, for it is cut off from your mouth.
29-1:9 The
meat offering and the drink offering is cut off
from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD’S ministers, mourn.
29-1:16 Is
not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of
our God?
29-2:20 But
I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren
and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the
utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up,
because he hath done great things.
29-3:8 And
I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of
Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
30-AMOS
30-1:5 I
will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off
the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from
the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir,
saith the LORD.
30-1:8 And
I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and
him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against
Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.
30-1:11 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn
away the punishment thereof; because
he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off
all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:
30-2:3 And
I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof,
and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD.
30-3:14 That
in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also
visit the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.
30-5:7 Ye
who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off
righteousness in the earth,
30-9:8 Behold,
the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the
sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off
the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of
Jacob, saith the LORD.
31-OBADIAH
31-1:5 If
thieves came to thee, if robbers by night, (how art thou cut off!) would they not have stolen till they had enough?
if the grapegatherers came to thee, would they not leave some grapes?
31-1:9 And
thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed,
to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.
31-1:10 For
thy violence against thy brother
Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off
for ever.
31-1:14 Neither
shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off
those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of
his that did remain in the day of distress.
33-MICAH
33-2:8 Even
of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off
the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from
war.
33-3:2 Who
hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off
their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
33-3:3 Who
also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in
pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
33-4:3 And
he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against
nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
33-4:7 And
I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over
them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.
33-5:9 Thine
hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be
cut off.
33-5:10 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will
destroy thy chariots:
33-5:11 And
I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw
down all thy strong holds:
33-5:12 And
I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand;
and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:
33-5:13 Thy
graven images also will I cut off, and thy
standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the
work of thine hands.
34-NAHUM
34-1:13 For
now will I break his yoke from off thee, and
will burst thy bonds in sunder.
34-1:14 And
the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will
I cut off the graven image and the molten image:
I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.
34-1:15 Behold
upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth
peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall
no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.
34-2:13 Behold,
I am against thee, saith the LORD of
hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour
thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey
from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.
34-3:15 There
shall the fire devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off,
it shall eat thee up like the cankerworm: make thyself many as the cankerworm,
make thyself many as the locusts.
35-HABAKKUK
35-2:10 Thou
hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off
many people, and hast sinned against thy
soul.
35-3:17 Although
the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall
fruit be in the vines; the labour
of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be
cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
36-ZEPHANIAH
36-1:2 I
will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD.
36-1:3 I
will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the
fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the
land, saith the LORD.
36-1:4 I
will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of
Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of
Baal from this place, and the name of
the Chemarims with the priests;
36-1:11 Howl,
ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they
that bear silver are cut off.
36-3:6 I
have cut off the nations: their towers are
desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are
destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.
36-3:7 I
said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their
dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I
punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted
all their doings.
38-ZECHARIAH
38-5:3 Then
said he unto me, This is the curse
that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth
shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall
be cut off as
on that side according to it.
38-6:15 And
they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD,
and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will
diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.
38-9:6 And
a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off
the pride of the Philistines.
38-9:10 And
I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the
horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off:
and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even
to the ends of the earth.
38-10:6 And
I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and
I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they
shall be as though I had not cast them off: for
I am the LORD their God, and will
hear them.
38-11:8 Three
shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my
soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
38-11:9 Then
said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to
be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of
another.
38-11:16 For,
lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which
shall not visit those that be cut off,
neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that
that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their
claws in pieces.
38-13:2 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off
the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered:
and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the
land.
38-13:8 And
it shall come to pass, that in all
the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die;
but the third shall be left therein.
38-14:2 For
I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be
taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city
shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
39-MALACHI
39-2:12 The
LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the
master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth
an offering unto the LORD of hosts.
40-MATTHEW
40-5:30 And
if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and
cast it from thee: for it is
profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into
hell.
40-8:30 And
there was a good way off from them an herd of
many swine feeding.
40-10:14 And
whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of
that house or city, shake off the dust of your
feet.
40-18:8 Wherefore
if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off,
and cast them from thee: it is better
for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two
feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
40-26:51 And,
behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high
priest’s, and smote off his ear.
40-26:58 But
Peter followed him afar off unto the high
priest’s palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.
40-27:31 And
after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off
from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.
40-27:55 And
many women were there beholding afar off, which
followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:
41-MARK
41-5:6 But
when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped
him,
41-6:11 And
whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against
them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha
in the day of judgment, than for that city.
41-9:43 And
if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is
better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into
hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
41-9:45 And
if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better
for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell,
into the fire that never shall be quenched:
41-11:8 And
many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
41-11:13 And
seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he
came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he
found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
41-14:47 And
one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest,
and cut off his ear.
41-14:54 And
Peter followed him afar off, even into the
palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at
the fire.
41-15:20 And
when they had mocked him, they took off the purple
from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.
41-15:40 There
were also women looking on afar off: among whom
was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and
Salome;
