01-8:9 But
the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot,
and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand,
and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
01-9:15 And
I will remember my covenant, which is between
me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
01-11:30 But
Sarai was barren; she had no child.
01-13:8 And
Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I
pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.
01-15:3 And
Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no
seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
01-16:1 Now
Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children: and she
had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was
Hagar.
01-26:29 That
thou wilt do us no hurt, as we have not touched
thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away
in peace: thou art now the blessed of
the LORD.
01-30:1 And
when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children,
Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.
01-31:50 If
thou shalt afflict my daughters, or if thou shalt take other wives beside my daughters, no
man is with us; see, God is witness betwixt me and thee.
01-32:28 And
he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob,
but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast
prevailed.
01-37:22 And
Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their
hands, to deliver him to his father again.
01-37:24 And
they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.
01-37:32 And
they sent the coat of many colours,
and they brought it to their father;
and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son’s coat or no.
01-38:21 Then
he asked the men of that place, saying, Where is the harlot, that was openly
by the way side? And they said, There was no
harlot in this place.
01-38:22 And
he returned to Judah, and said, I cannot find her; and also the men of the
place said, that there was no harlot in this place.
01-38:26 And
Judah acknowledged them, and said,
She hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my
son. And he knew her again no more.
01-40:8 And
they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And
Joseph said unto them, Do not
interpretations belong to God? tell
me them, I pray you.
01-41:44 And
Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh,
and without thee shall no man lift up his hand
or foot in all the land of Egypt.
01-42:11 We
are all one man’s sons; we are true men, thy servants are no spies.
01-42:31 And
we said unto him, We are true men; we are no
spies:
01-42:34 And
bring your youngest brother unto me: then shall I know that ye are no
spies, but that ye are true men: so will I deliver you your brother, and ye shall traffick in
the land.
01-44:23 And
thou saidst unto thy servants, Except your youngest brother come down with you,
ye shall see my face no more.
01-45:1 Then
Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he
cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto
his brethren.
01-47:4 They
said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for thy
servants have no pasture for their flocks; for
the famine is sore in the land of Canaan:
now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.
01-47:13 And
there was no
bread in all the land; for the famine was
very sore, so that the land of Egypt and all the land of Canaan fainted by reason of the famine.
02-2:12 And
he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the
Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.
02-3:19 And
I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no,
not by a mighty hand.
02-5:7 Ye
shall no more give the people straw to make
brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.
02-5:16 There
is no straw given unto thy servants, and they
say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in
thine own people.
02-5:18 Go
therefore now, and work; for there
shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye
deliver the tale of bricks.
02-8:22 And
I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of
flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.
02-9:26 Only
in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.
02-9:28 Intreat
the LORD (for it is enough) that
there be no more
mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer.
02-10:14 And
the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of
Egypt: very grievous were they; before
them there were no such locusts as they, neither
after them shall be such.
02-10:28 And
Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that
day thou seest my face thou shalt die.
02-10:29 And
Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more.
02-12:16 And
in the first day there shall be an
holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to
you; no manner of work shall be done in them,
save that which every man must eat,
that only may be done of you.
02-12:19 Seven
days shall there be no leaven found in your
houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be
cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in
the land.
02-12:43 And
the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is
the ordinance of the passover: There shall no
stranger eat thereof:
02-12:48 And
when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the
LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it;
and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no
uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
02-13:3 And
Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt,
out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out
from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
02-13:7 Unleavened
bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no
leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee
in all thy quarters.
02-14:11 And
they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in
the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out
of Egypt?
02-14:13 And
Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of
the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen
to day, ye shall see them again no more for
ever.
02-15:22 So
Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of
Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
02-16:4 Then
said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and
the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove
them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
02-16:18 And
when they did mete it with an omer,
he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his
eating.
02-16:19 And
Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the
morning.
02-16:29 See,
for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the
sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
02-17:1 And
all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of
Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and
pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
02-20:3 Thou
shalt have no other gods before me.
02-21:8 If
she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let
her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.
02-21:22 If
men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished,
according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the
judges determine.
02-22:2 If
a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.
02-22:10 If
a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to
keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no
man seeing it:
02-23:8 And
thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth
the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
02-23:13 And
in all things that I have said unto
you be circumspect: and make no mention of the
name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
02-23:32 Thou
shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their
gods.
02-30:9 Ye
shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor
burnt sacrifice, nor meat offering; neither shall ye pour drink offering
thereon.
02-30:12 When
thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall
they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest
them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them.
02-33:4 And
when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.
02-33:20 And
he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no
man see me, and live.
02-34:3 And
no man shall come up with thee, neither let any
man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed
before that mount.
02-34:7 Keeping
mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that
will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children,
and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
02-34:14 For
thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD,
whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
02-34:17 Thou
shalt make thee no molten gods.
02-35:3 Ye
shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations
upon the sabbath day.
03-2:11 No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD,
shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no
leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.
03-5:11 But
if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned
shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin
offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither
shall he put any frankincense
thereon: for it is a sin offering.
03-6:30 And
no sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation
to reconcile withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt
in the fire.
03-7:23 Speak
unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no
manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.
03-7:24 And
the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is torn
with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it.
03-7:26 Moreover
ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in
any of your dwellings.
03-11:12 Whatsoever
hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
03-12:4 And
she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days;
she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into
the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
03-13:21 But
if the priest look on it, and, behold, there
be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be
somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
03-13:26 But
if the priest look on it, and, behold, there
be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no
lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall
shut him up seven days:
03-13:31 And
if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin,
and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall
seven days:
03-13:32 And
in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall spread not, and there be in
it no yellow hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;
03-16:17 And
there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation
when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself,
and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
03-16:29 And
this shall be a statute for ever unto
you: that in the seventh month, on
the tenth day of the month, ye shall
afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country,
or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
03-17:7 And
they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto
devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever
unto them throughout their generations.
03-17:12 Therefore
I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of
you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat
blood.
03-17:14 For
it is the life of all flesh; the
blood of it is for the life thereof:
therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth
it shall be cut off.
03-19:15 Ye
shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou
shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge
thy neighbour.
03-19:35 Ye
shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard,
in weight, or in measure.
03-20:14 And
if a man take a wife and her mother, it is
wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
03-21:3 And
for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.
03-21:21 No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the
priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath
a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
03-22:10 There
shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant,
shall not eat of the holy thing.
03-22:13 But
if the priest’s daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father’s house, as
in her youth, she shall eat of her father’s meat: but there shall no stranger eat thereof.
03-22:21 And
whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in
beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.
03-23:3 Six
days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein:
it is the sabbath of the LORD in
all your dwellings.
03-23:7 In
the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-23:8 But
ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the
seventh day is an holy convocation:
ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-23:21 And
ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that
it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it
shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your
generations.
03-23:25 Ye
shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
03-23:28 And
ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an
atonement for you before the LORD your God.
03-23:31 Ye
shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all
your dwellings.
03-23:35 On
the first day shall be an holy
convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-23:36 Seven
days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day
shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by
fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn
assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-25:31 But
the houses of the villages which have no wall
round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be
redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubile.
03-25:36 Take
thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy
God; that thy brother may live with thee.
03-26:1 Ye
shall make you no idols nor graven image,
neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow
down unto it: for I am the LORD your
God.
03-26:37 And
they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none
pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand
before your enemies.
03-27:26 Only
the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD’S firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the
LORD’S.
03-27:28 Notwithstanding
no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto
the LORD of all that he hath, both of
man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed:
every devoted thing is most holy unto
the LORD.
04-1:53 But
the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of
Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
04-3:4 And
Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the
LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no
children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the
sight of Aaron their father.
04-5:8 But
if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass
unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an
atonement shall be made for him.
04-5:13 And
a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be
kept close, and she be defiled, and there
be no witness against her, neither she be
taken with the manner;
04-5:15 Then
shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering
for her, the tenth part of an ephah
of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it,
nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an
offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to
remembrance.
04-5:19 And
the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone
aside to uncleanness with another instead
of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:
04-6:3 He
shall separate himself from wine and
strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of
wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes,
nor eat moist grapes, or dried.
04-6:5 All
the days of the vow of his separation there shall no
razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth
himself unto the LORD, he shall be
holy, and shall let the locks of the
hair of his head grow.
04-6:6 All
the days that he separateth himself unto
the LORD he shall come at no dead body.
04-8:19 And
I have given the Levites as a gift to
Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of
the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an
atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no
plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto
the sanctuary.
04-8:25 And
from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:
04-8:26 But
shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to
keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus
shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.
04-14:18 The
LORD is longsuffering, and of great
mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no
means clearing the guilty, visiting
the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
04-16:40 To be a memorial unto the children of
Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to
offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as
the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.
04-18:5 And
ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that
there be no wrath any more upon the children of
Israel.
04-18:20 And
the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no
inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among
the children of Israel.
04-18:23 But
the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and
they shall bear their iniquity: it shall
be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children
of Israel they have no inheritance.
04-18:24 But
the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to
inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they
shall have no inheritance.
04-18:32 And
ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, when ye
have heaved from it the best of it: neither shall ye pollute the holy things of
the children of Israel, lest ye die.
04-19:2 This
is the ordinance of the law which the
LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring
thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is
no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:
04-19:15 And
every open vessel, which hath no covering bound
upon it, is unclean.
04-20:2 And
there was no water for the congregation: and
they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.
04-20:5 And
wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this
evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of
pomegranates; neither is there any
water to drink.
04-21:5 And
the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us
up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul
loatheth this light bread.
04-22:26 And
the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no
way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.
04-23:23 Surely
there is no
enchantment against Jacob, neither is
there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be
said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!
04-26:33 And
Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but
daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
04-26:62 And
those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from
a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of
Israel, because there was no inheritance given
them among the children of Israel.
04-27:3 Our
father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that
gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died
in his own sin, and had no sons.
04-27:4 Why
should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he
hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.
04-27:8 And
thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass
unto his daughter.
04-27:9 And
if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his
inheritance unto his brethren.
04-27:10 And
if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his
inheritance unto his father’s brethren.
04-27:11 And
if his father have no brethren, then ye shall
give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he
shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of
judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.
04-27:17 Which
may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead
them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not
as sheep which have no shepherd.
04-28:18 In
the first day shall be an holy
convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile
work therein:
04-28:25 And
on the seventh day ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.
04-28:26 Also
in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the LORD,
after your weeks be out, ye shall
have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile
work:
04-29:1 And
in the seventh month, on the first day of
the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets
unto you.
04-29:12 And
on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye
shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep a
feast unto the LORD seven days:
04-29:35 On
the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein:
04-33:14 And
they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
04-35:31 Moreover
ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a
murderer, which is guilty of death:
but he shall be surely put to death.
04-35:32 And
ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is
fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land,
until the death of the priest.
05-1:39 Moreover
your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in
that day had no knowledge between good and evil,
they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess
it.
05-2:5 Meddle
not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no,
not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.
05-3:26 But
the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD
said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more
unto me of this matter.
05-4:12 And
the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the
words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.
05-4:15 Take
ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no
manner of similitude on the day that the
LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
05-5:22 These
words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of
the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added
no more. And he wrote them in two tables of
stone, and delivered them unto me.
05-7:2 And
when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt
make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto
them:
05-7:16 And
thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee;
thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither
shalt thou serve their gods; for that will
be a snare unto thee.
05-7:24 And
he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name
from under heaven: there shall no man be able to
stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.
05-8:2 And
thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty
years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and
to prove thee, to know what was in
thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
05-8:15 Who
led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no
water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;
05-10:9 Wherefore
Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his
brethren; the LORD is his
inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him.
05-10:16 Circumcise
therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no
more stiffnecked.
05-11:17 And
then the LORD’S wrath be kindled
against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no
rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth
you.
05-11:25 There
shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear
of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he
hath said unto you.
05-12:12 And
ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your
daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he
hath no part nor inheritance with you.
05-13:11 And
all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no
more any such wickedness as this is among you.
05-14:27 And
the Levite that is within thy gates;
thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part
nor inheritance with thee.
05-14:29 And
the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance
with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and
shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the
work of thine hand which thou doest.
05-15:4 Save
when there shall be no poor among you; for the
LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:
05-15:19 All
the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto
the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work with the
firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.
05-16:3 Thou
shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days
shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even
the bread of affliction: for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in
haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land
of Egypt all the days of thy life.
05-16:4 And
there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee
in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at
even, remain all night until the morning.
05-16:8 Six
days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD
thy God: thou shalt do no work therein.
05-17:13 And
all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no
more presumptuously.
05-17:16 But
he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt,
to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto
you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that
way.
05-18:1 The
priests the Levites, and all the
tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor
inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by fire,
and his inheritance.
05-18:2 Therefore
shall they have no inheritance among their
brethren: the LORD is their
inheritance, as he hath said unto them.
05-19:20 And
those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.
05-20:12 And
if it will make no peace with thee, but will
make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
05-21:14 And
it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then
thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for
money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her.
05-22:26 But
unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there
is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour,
and slayeth him, even so is this
matter:
05-23:14 For
the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give
up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
05-23:17 There
shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel,
nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
05-23:22 But
if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin
in thee.
05-24:1 When
a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some
uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his
house.
05-24:6 No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to
pledge: for he taketh a man’s life to
pledge.
05-25:5 If
brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no
child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her
husband’s brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and
perform the duty of an husband’s brother unto her.
05-28:26 And
thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the
earth, and no man shall fray them away.
05-28:29 And
thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt
not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore,
and no man shall save thee.
05-28:32 Thy
sons and thy daughters shall be given
unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine
hand.
05-28:65 And
among these nations shalt thou find no ease,
neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee
there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:
05-28:68 And
the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I
spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more
again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen,
and no man shall buy you.
05-31:2 And
he said unto them, I am an hundred
and twenty years old this day; I can no more go
out and come in: also the LORD hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this
Jordan.
05-32:12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no
strange god with him.
05-32:20 And
he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no
faith.
05-32:39 See
now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and
I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is
there any that can deliver out of my hand.
05-34:6 And
he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
06-8:20 And
when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the
city ascended up to heaven, and they had no
power to flee this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness
turned back upon the pursuers.
06-8:31 As
Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is
written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD,
and sacrificed peace offerings.
06-10:14 And
there was no day like that before it or after
it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for
Israel.
06-11:20 For
it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel
in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour,
but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.
06-14:4 For
the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim: therefore they
gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save
cities to dwell in, with their
suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.
06-17:3 But
Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of
Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters: and these are the names of his daughters, Mahlah,
and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
06-18:7 But
the Levites have no part among you; for the
priesthood of the LORD is their
inheritance: and Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh, have received
their inheritance beyond Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of the
LORD gave them.
06-22:25 For
the LORD hath made Jordan a border between us and you, ye children of Reuben
and children of Gad; ye have no part in the
LORD: so shall your children make our children cease from fearing the LORD.
06-22:27 But
that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us,
that we might do the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings,
and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may
not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no
part in the LORD.
06-23:9 For
the LORD hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no
man hath been able to stand before you unto this day.
06-23:13 Know
for a certainty that the LORD your God will no
more drive out any of these nations
from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in
your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land
which the LORD your God hath given you.
07-2:2 And
ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of
this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice:
why have ye done this?
07-4:20 Again
he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man
doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt
say, No.
07-5:19 The
kings came and fought, then fought
the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.
07-6:4 And
they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou
come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for
Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.
07-8:28 Thus
was Midian subdued before the children of Israel, so that they lifted up their
heads no more. And the country was in quietness
forty years in the days of Gideon.
07-10:13 Yet
ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.
07-11:39 And
it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father,
who did with her according to his vow
which he had vowed: and she knew no man. And it
was a custom in Israel,
07-13:5 For,
lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no
razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from
the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.
07-13:7 But
he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite
to God from the womb to the day of his death.
07-13:21 But
the angel of the LORD did no more appear to
Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the LORD.
07-15:13 And
they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will
bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee.
And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.
07-17:6 In
those days there was no king in Israel, but
every man did that which was right
in his own eyes.
07-18:1 In
those days there was no king in Israel: and in those days the tribe of the
Danites sought them an inheritance to dwell in; for unto that day all their inheritance had not fallen
unto them among the tribes of Israel.
07-18:7 Then
the five men departed, and came to Laish, and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless,
after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure; and there was no magistrate in the land,
that might put them to shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had no
business with any man.
07-18:10 When
ye go, ye shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God hath
given it into your hands; a place where there
is no want of any thing that is in the earth.
07-18:28 And
there was no
deliverer, because it was far from
Zidon, and they had no business with any man; and it was in the valley that lieth by Bethrehob. And they built a
city, and dwelt therein.
07-19:1 And
it came to pass in those days, when there
was no king in Israel, that there was a certain
Levite sojourning on the side of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out
of Bethlehemjudah.
07-19:15 And
they turned aside thither, to go in and to
lodge in Gibeah: and when he went in, he sat him down in a street of the city:
for there was no man that took them into his house to lodging.
07-19:18 And
he said unto him, We are passing from
Bethlehemjudah toward the side of mount Ephraim; from thence am I: and I went to Bethlehemjudah, but
I am now going to the house of the
LORD; and there is no man that receiveth me to house.
07-19:19 Yet
there is both straw and provender for our asses; and there is bread and wine
also for me, and for thy handmaid, and for the young man which is with thy servants: there
is no want of any thing.
07-19:30 And
it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no
such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of
the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds.
07-21:12 And
they found among the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead four hundred young virgins,
that had known no man by lying with any male:
and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.
07-21:25 In
those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
09-1:2 And
he had two wives; the name of the one was
Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but
Hannah had no children.
09-1:11 And
she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the
affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid,
but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the
LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no
razor come upon his head.
09-1:15 And
Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have
drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the
LORD.
09-1:18 And
she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her
way, and did eat, and her countenance was no
more sad.
09-2:3 Talk
no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth:
for the LORD is a God of knowledge,
and by him actions are weighed.
09-2:9 He
will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness;
for by strength shall no man prevail.
09-2:24 Nay,
my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the Lord’s people
to transgress.
09-3:1 And
the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD
was precious in those days; there was no open vision.
09-6:7 Now
therefore make a new cart, and take two milch kine, on which there hath come no yoke, and tie the kine to the cart, and bring their
calves home from them:
09-7:13 So
the Philistines were subdued, and they came no
more into the coast of Israel: and the hand of the LORD was against the
Philistines all the days of Samuel.
09-10:14 And
Saul’s uncle said unto him and to his servant, Whither went ye? And he said, To
seek the asses: and when we saw that they
were no where, we came to Samuel.
09-10:27 But
the children of Belial said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him,
and brought him no presents. But he held his
peace.
09-11:3 And
the elders of Jabesh said unto him, Give us seven days’ respite, that we may
send messengers unto all the coasts of Israel: and then, if there be no
man to save us, we will come out to thee.
09-13:19 Now
there was no smith found throughout all the land
of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears:
09-14:6 And
Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over
unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for
us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.
09-14:26 And
when the people were come into the wood, behold, the honey dropped; but no man put his hand to his mouth: for the people
feared the oath.
09-15:35 And
Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of
his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he
had made Saul king over Israel.
09-17:32 And
David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail
because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.
09-17:50 So
David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote
the Philistine, and slew him; but there
was no sword in the hand of David.
09-18:2 And
Saul took him that day, and would let him go no
more home to his father’s house.
09-20:15 But
also thou shalt not cut off thy
kindness from my house for ever: no, not when
the LORD hath cut off the enemies of David every one from the face of the
earth.
09-20:21 And,
behold, I will send a lad, saying, Go,
find out the arrows. If I expressly say unto the lad, Behold, the arrows are on this side of thee, take them;
then come thou: for there is peace to
thee, and no hurt; as the LORD liveth.
09-20:34 So
Jonathan arose from the table in fierce anger, and did eat no meat the second day of the month: for he was
grieved for David, because his father had done him shame.
09-21:1 Then
came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was afraid at the
meeting of David, and said unto him, Why art
thou alone, and no man with thee?
09-21:2 And
David said unto Ahimelech the priest, The king hath commanded me a business,
and hath said unto me, Let no man know any thing
of the business whereabout I send thee, and what I have commanded thee: and I
have appointed my servants to such
and such a place.
09-21:4 And
the priest answered David, and said, There
is no common bread under mine hand, but
there is hallowed bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from
women.
09-21:6 So
the priest gave him hallowed bread: for
there was no bread there but the shewbread, that
was taken from before the LORD, to put hot bread in the day when it was taken
away.
09-21:9 And
the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the
valley of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped
in a cloth behind the ephod: if thou wilt take that, take it: for there is no other save that here. And David said, There is none like that; give it me.
09-25:31 That
this shall be no grief unto thee, nor offence of
heart unto my lord, either that thou hast shed blood causeless, or that my lord
hath avenged himself: but when the LORD shall have dealt well with my lord,
then remember thine handmaid.
09-26:12 So
David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul’s bolster; and they gat them
away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither
awaked: for they were all asleep;
because a deep sleep from the LORD was fallen upon them.
09-26:21 Then
said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in
thine eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred
exceedingly.
09-27:4 And
it was told Saul that David was fled to Gath: and he sought no more again for him.
09-28:10 And
Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As
the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment
happen to thee for this thing.
09-28:15 And
Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul
answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and
God is departed from me, and answereth me no
more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that
thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
09-28:20 Then
Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of
the words of Samuel: and there was no strength
in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day,
nor all the night.
09-29:3 Then
said the princes of the Philistines, What do
these Hebrews here? And Achish
said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is
not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been
with me these days, or these years, and I have found no
fault in him since he fell unto me unto
this day?
09-30:4 Then
David and the people that were with
him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no
more power to weep.
09-30:12 And
they gave him a piece of a cake of figs, and two clusters of raisins: and when
he had eaten, his spirit came again to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk any water, three days and three nights.
10-1:21 Ye
mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let
there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of
the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed
with oil.
10-2:28 So
Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.
10-6:23 Therefore
Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto
the day of her death.
10-7:10 Moreover
I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may
dwell in a place of their own, and move no more;
neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,
10-12:6 And
he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he
had no pity.
10-13:12 And
she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do not thou this folly.
10-13:16 And
she said unto him, There is no cause: this evil in sending me away is greater than the other that thou
didst unto me. But he would not hearken unto her.
10-14:25 But
in all Israel there was none to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty:
from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no blemish in him.
10-15:3 And
Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are
good and right; but there is no man deputed of
the king to hear thee.
10-15:26 But
if he thus say, I have no delight in thee;
behold, here am I, let him do to me
as seemeth good unto him.
10-18:13 Otherwise
I should have wrought falsehood against mine own life: for there is no matter hid from the king, and thou thyself wouldest
have set thyself against me.
10-18:18 Now
Absalom in his lifetime had taken and reared up for himself a pillar, which is in the king’s dale: for he said, I
have no son to keep my name in remembrance: and
he called the pillar after his own name: and it is called unto this day,
Absalom’s place.
10-18:20 And
Joab said unto him, Thou shalt not bear tidings this day, but thou shalt bear
tidings another day: but this day thou shalt bear no
tidings, because the king’s son is dead.
10-18:22 Then
said Ahimaaz the son of Zadok yet again to Joab, But howsoever, let me, I pray
thee, also run after Cushi. And Joab said, Wherefore wilt thou run, my son,
seeing that thou hast no tidings ready?
10-20:1 And
there happened to be there a man of Belial, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew a trumpet,
and said, We have no part in David, neither have
we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to his tents, O Israel.
10-20:10 But
Amasa took no heed to the sword that was in Joab’s hand: so he smote him
therewith in the fifth rib, and shed
out his bowels to the ground, and struck him not again; and he died. So Joab and
Abishai his brother pursued after Sheba the son of Bichri.
10-21:4 And
the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no
silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any
man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you.
10-21:17 But
Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed
him. Then the men of David sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that thou quench not
the light of Israel.
11-1:1 Now
king David was old and stricken in
years; and they covered him with clothes, but he gat no
heat.
11-3:2 Only
the people sacrificed in high places, because there was no house built unto the name of the LORD, until those days.
11-3:18 And
it came to pass the third day after that I was delivered, that this woman was
delivered also: and we were together;
there was no
stranger with us in the house, save we two in the house.
11-3:22 And
the other woman said, Nay; but the living is
my son, and the dead is thy son.
And this said, No; but the dead is thy son, and the living is my son. Thus they spake before the
king.
11-3:26 Then
spake the woman whose the living child was
unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my
lord, give her the living child, and in no wise
slay it. But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it.
11-3:27 Then
the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof.
11-6:18 And
the cedar of the house within was carved
with knops and open flowers: all was cedar;
there was no stone seen.
11-8:16 Since
the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house,
that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.
11-8:23 And
he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth
beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee
with all their heart:
11-8:35 When
heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because
they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy
name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:
11-8:46 If
they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them,
and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the
land of the enemy, far or near;
11-9:22 But
of the children of Israel did Solomon make no
bondmen: but they were men of war,
and his servants, and his princes, and his captains, and rulers of his
chariots, and his horsemen.
11-10:5 And
the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his
ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he
went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no
more spirit in her.
11-10:10 And
she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very
great store, and precious stones: there came no
more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king
Solomon.
11-10:12 And
the king made of the almug trees pillars for the house of the LORD, and for the
king’s house, harps also and psalteries for singers: there came no such almug trees, nor were seen unto this day.
11-13:9 For
so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same
way that thou camest.
11-13:17 For
it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go
by the way that thou camest.
11-13:22 But
camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the LORD did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no
water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.
11-17:7 And
it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.
11-17:17 And
it came to pass after these things, that the
son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so
sore, that there was no breath left in him.
11-18:10 As the LORD thy God liveth, there is no nation or kingdom, whither my lord hath not sent to
seek thee: and when they said, He is not
there; he took an oath of the kingdom
and nation, that they found thee not.
11-18:23 Let
them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for
themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it
on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other
bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under:
11-18:25 And
Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves,
and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your
gods, but put no fire under.
11-18:26 And
they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from
morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that
answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.
11-21:4 And
Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth
the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance
of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and
would eat no bread.
11-21:5 But
Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto him, Why is thy spirit so sad, that
thou eatest no bread?
11-22:17 And
he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a
shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no
master: let them return every man to his house in peace.
11-22:18 And
the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would
prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?
11-22:47 There was then no
king in Edom: a deputy was king.
12-1:16 And
he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers
to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is
it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore
thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt
surely die.
12-1:17 So
he died according to the word of the LORD which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned
in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of
Judah; because he had no son.
12-2:12 And
Elisha saw it, and he cried, My
father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw
him no more: and he took hold of his own
clothes, and rent them in two pieces.
12-3:9 So
the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king of Edom: and they
fetched a compass of seven days’ journey: and there was no water for the host, and for the cattle that followed them.
12-4:14 And
he said, What then is to be done for
her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no
child, and her husband is old.
12-4:41 But
he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into
the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was
no harm in the pot.
12-5:15 And
he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood
before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth,
but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.
12-5:25 But
he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy
servant went no whither.
12-6:23 And
he prepared great provision for them: and when they had eaten and drunk, he
sent them away, and they went to their master. So the bands of Syria came no more into the land of Israel.
12-7:5 And
they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they
were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no
man there.
12-7:10 So
they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying,
We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither
voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were.
12-9:35 And
they went to bury her: but they found no more of
her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands.
12-10:31 But
Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD
God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of
Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.
12-12:7 Then
king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and the other priests, and said unto them, Why repair ye not the breaches
of the house? now therefore receive no more money of your acquaintance, but
deliver it for the breaches of the house.
12-12:8 And
the priests consented to receive no more money of the people, neither to
repair the breaches of the house.
12-17:4 And
the king of Assyria found conspiracy in Hoshea: for he had sent messengers to
So king of Egypt, and brought no present to the
king of Assyria, as he had done year
by year: therefore the king of Assyria shut him up, and bound him in prison.
12-19:18 And
have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s
hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.
12-22:7 Howbeit
there was no reckoning made with them of the
money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.
12-23:10 And
he defiled Topheth, which is in the
valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man
might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.
12-23:18 And
he said, Let him alone; let no man move his
bones. So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet that came out
of Samaria.
12-23:25 And
like unto him was there no king before him, that
turned to the LORD with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his
might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.
12-25:3 And
on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the
city, and there was no bread for the people of
the land.
13-2:34 Now
Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan
had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was
Jarha.
13-12:17 And
David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come
peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if ye be come to betray me to mine enemies,
seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.
13-16:21 He
suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he
reproved kings for their sakes,
13-16:22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do
my prophets no harm.
13-17:9 Also
I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall
dwell in their place, and shall be moved no
more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the
beginning,
13-22:16 Of
the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number. Arise therefore, and be doing, and the LORD be
with thee.
13-23:22 And
Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters:
and their brethren the sons of Kish took them.
13-23:26 And
also unto the Levites; they shall no more carry the tabernacle, nor any
vessels of it for the service thereof.
13-24:2 But
Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no
children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest’s office.
13-24:28 Of
Mahli came Eleazar, who had no sons.
14-6:5 Since
the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build an
house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be a ruler
over my people Israel:
14-6:14 And
said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth;
which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy
unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts:
14-6:26 When
the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain,
because they have sinned against thee; yet
if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their
sin, when thou dost afflict them;
14-6:36 If
they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with
them, and deliver them over before their enemies,
and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near;
14-7:13 If
I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command
the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14-8:9 But
of the children of Israel did Solomon make no
servants for his work; but they were men
of war, and chief of his captains, and captains of his chariots and horsemen.
14-9:4 And
the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of
his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and
his ascent by which he went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
14-13:9 Have
ye not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites,
and have made you priests after the manner of the nations of other lands? so that whosoever cometh to
consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them
that are no gods.
14-14:6 And
he built fenced cities in Judah: for the land had rest, and he had no war in those years; because the LORD had given him
rest.
14-14:11 And
Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them
that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for
we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against
thee.
14-15:5 And
in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came
in, but great vexations were upon all
the inhabitants of the countries.
14-15:19 And
there was no more
war unto the five and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa.
14-17:10 And
the fear of the LORD fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Judah, so that they
made no war against Jehoshaphat.
14-18:16 Then
he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return therefore every man to his house in peace.
14-19:7 Wherefore
now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of
persons, nor taking of gifts.
14-20:12 O
our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no
might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what
to do: but our eyes are upon thee.
14-21:19 And
it came to pass, that in process of time, after the end of two years, his
bowels fell out by reason of his sickness: so he died of sore diseases. And his
people made no burning for him, like the burning
of his fathers.
14-22:9 And
he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and
brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because,
said they, he is the son of
Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah
had no power to keep still the kingdom.
14-32:15 Now
therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you on this manner,
neither yet believe him: for no god of any
nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of mine hand, and out of the
hand of my fathers: how much less shall your God deliver you out of mine hand?
14-35:18 And
there was no passover like to that kept in
Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel
keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all
Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
14-36:16 But
they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his
prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no
remedy.
14-36:17 Therefore
he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with
the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no
compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he
gave them all into his hand.
15-4:16 We
certify the king that, if this city be builded again, and the walls thereof set up, by this means thou shalt have no portion on this side the river.
15-9:14 Should
we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these
abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor
escaping?
15-10:6 Then
Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Johanan
the son of Eliashib: and when he came
thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water:
for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away.
16-2:14 Then
I went on to the gate of the fountain, and to the king’s pool: but there was no
place for the beast that was under me
to pass.
16-2:17 Then
said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste,
and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall
of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
16-2:20 Then
answered I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, he will prosper us;
therefore we his servants will arise and build: but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem.
16-6:1 Now
it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the
rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no
breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the
gates;)
16-6:8 Then
I sent unto him, saying, There are no such
things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart.
16-13:19 And
it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the
sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they
should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be
brought in on the sabbath day.
16-13:21 Then
I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if
ye do so again, I will lay hands on
you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath.
16-13:26 Did
not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was
there no king like him, who was beloved of his
God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did
outlandish women cause to sin.
17-1:19 If
it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written
among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That
Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and
let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.
17-2:14 In
the evening she went, and on the morrow she returned into the second house of
the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, the king’s chamberlain, which kept the
concubines: she came in unto the king no more,
except the king delighted in her, and that she were called by name.
17-5:12 Haman
said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no
man come in with the king unto the banquet that she had prepared but myself;
and to morrow am I invited unto her also with the king.
17-8:8 Write
ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s ring: for the writing
which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, may no man reverse.
17-9:2 The
Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces
of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them fell
upon all people.
18-3:7 Lo,
let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice
come therein.
18-4:18 Behold,
he put no trust in his servants; and his angels
he charged with folly:
18-5:19 He
shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
18-7:7 O
remember that my life is wind: mine
eye shall no more see good.
18-7:8 The
eye of him that hath seen me shall see me no more: thine eyes are upon me, and I am not.
18-7:9 As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth
away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no
more.
18-7:10 He
shall return no more to his house, neither shall
his place know him any more.
18-9:25 Now
my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good.
18-10:18 Wherefore
then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the
ghost, and no eye had seen me!
18-11:3 Should
thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
18-12:2 No doubt but ye are
the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
18-12:14 Behold,
he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there
can be no opening.
18-12:24 He
taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them
to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
18-13:4 But
ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.
18-14:12 So
man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake,
nor be raised out of their sleep.
18-15:3 Should
he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good?
18-15:15 Behold,
he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the
heavens are not clean in his sight.
18-15:19 Unto
whom alone the earth was given, and no stranger
passed among them.
18-15:28 And
he dwelleth in desolate cities, and in
houses which no man inhabiteth, which are ready
to become heaps.
18-16:18 O
earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no
place.
18-18:17 His
remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
18-19:7 Behold,
I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.
18-19:16 I
called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I intreated him with my mouth.
18-20:9 The
eye also which saw him shall see him no
more; neither shall his place any more behold him.
18-20:21 There
shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no
man look for his goods.
18-23:6 Will
he plead against me with his great
power? No; but he would put strength in me.
18-24:7 They
cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.
18-24:15 The
eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.
18-24:20 The
womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as
a tree.
18-24:22 He
draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is
sure of life.
18-26:2 How
hast thou helped him that is without
power? how savest thou the arm that hath no
strength?
18-26:3 How
hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how
hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
18-26:6 Hell
is naked before him, and destruction
hath no covering.
18-28:7 There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not
seen:
18-28:18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for
the price of wisdom is above rubies.
18-30:13 They
mar my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no
helper.
18-30:17 My
bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.
18-32:3 Also
against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet
had condemned Job.
18-32:5 When
Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.
18-32:15 They
were amazed, they answered no more: they left
off speaking.
18-32:16 When
I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
18-32:19 Behold,
my belly is as wine which hath no
vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.
18-34:22 There is no
darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide
themselves.
18-34:32 That which I see not teach thou me: if I
have done iniquity, I will do no more.
18-36:16 Even
so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there
is no straitness; and that which should be
set on thy table should be full of
fatness.
18-36:19 Will
he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.
18-38:11 And
said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further:
and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
18-38:26 To
cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the
wilderness, wherein there is no man;
18-40:5 Once
have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
18-41:8 Lay
thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no
more.
18-41:16 One
is so near to another, that no air can come
between them.
18-42:2 I
know that thou canst do every thing, and
that no
thought can be withholden from thee.
18-42:15 And
in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and
their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.
19-3:2 Many
there be which say of my soul, There is no
help for him in God. Selah.
19-5:9 For
there is no
faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
19-6:5 For
in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give
thee thanks?
19-10:18 To
judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
19-14:1 The
fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable
works, there is none that doeth good.
19-14:3 They
are all gone aside, they are all together
become filthy: there is none that
doeth good, no, not one.
19-14:4 Have
all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who
eat up my people as they eat bread,
and call not upon the LORD.
19-19:3 There is no
speech nor language, where their
voice is not heard.
19-22:6 But
I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
19-23:4 Yea,
though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art
with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
19-32:2 Blessed
is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth
not iniquity, and in whose spirit there
is no guile.
19-32:9 Be
ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no
understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come
near unto thee.
19-33:16 There
is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a
mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
19-34:9 O
fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there
is no want to them that fear him.
19-36:1 The
transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before
his eyes.
19-38:3 There is no
soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
19-38:7 For
my loins are filled with a loathsome disease:
and there is no soundness in my flesh.
19-38:14 Thus
I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
19-39:13 O
spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.
19-40:17 But
I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
19-41:8 An
evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast
unto him: and now that he lieth he
shall rise up no more.
19-50:9 I
will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
19-53:1 The
fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable
iniquity: there is none that doeth
good.
19-53:3 Every
one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
19-53:4 Have
the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up
my people as they eat bread: they
have not called upon God.
19-53:5 There
were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him
that encampeth against thee: thou
hast put them to shame, because God
hath despised them.
19-55:19 God
shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they
have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
19-63:1 O
God, thou art my God; early will I
seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and
thirsty land, where no water is;
19-69:2 I
sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the
floods overflow me.
19-70:5 But
I am poor and needy: make haste unto
me, O God: thou art my help and my
deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
19-72:12 For
he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no
helper.
19-73:4 For
there are no
bands in their death: but their strength is
firm.
19-74:9 We
see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
19-77:7 Will
the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no
more?
19-78:64 Their
priests fell by the sword; and their widows made no
lamentation.
19-81:9 There
shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt
thou worship any strange god.
19-83:4 They
have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
19-84:11 For
the LORD God is a sun and shield: the
LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that
walk uprightly.
19-88:4 I
am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no
strength:
19-88:5 Free
among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.
19-91:10 There
shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any
plague come nigh thy dwelling.
19-92:15 To
shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
19-101:3 I
will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I
hate the work of them that turn aside; it
shall not cleave to me.
19-102:27 But
thou art the same, and thy years
shall have no end.
19-103:16 For
the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
19-104:35 Let
the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the
LORD.
19-105:14 He
suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he
reproved kings for their sakes;
19-105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do
my prophets no harm.
19-107:4 They
wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
19-107:40 He
poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no
way.
19-119:3 They
also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
19-142:4 I
looked on my right hand, and beheld,
but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
19-143:2 And
enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
19-144:14 That our oxen may be strong to labour; that
there be no breaking in, nor going out; that
there be no
complaining in our streets.
19-146:3 Put
not your trust in princes, nor in the
son of man, in whom there is no help.
20-1:24 Because
I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
20-3:30 Strive
not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no
harm.
20-6:7 Which
having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
20-8:24 When
there were no
depths, I was brought forth; when there
were no fountains abounding with water.
20-10:22 The
blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no
sorrow with it.
20-10:25 As
the whirlwind passeth, so is the
wicked no more:
but the righteous is an
everlasting foundation.
20-11:14 Where
no counsel is,
the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
20-12:21 There
shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked
shall be filled with mischief.
20-12:28 In
the way of righteousness is life; and
in the pathway thereof there is no death.
20-14:4 Where
no oxen are,
the crib is clean: but much
increase is by the strength of the
ox.
20-17:16 Wherefore
is there a price in the hand of a
fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it?
20-17:20 He
that hath a froward heart findeth no good: and
he that hath a perverse tongue falleth into mischief.
20-17:21 He
that begetteth a fool doeth it to his
sorrow: and the father of a fool hath no joy.
20-18:2 A
fool hath no delight in understanding, but that
his heart may discover itself.
20-21:10 The
soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.
20-21:30 There is no
wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.
20-22:24 Make
no friendship with an angry man; and with a
furious man thou shalt not go:
20-24:20 For
there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be
put out.
20-25:28 He
that hath no
rule over his own spirit is like a
city that is broken down, and without walls.
20-26:20 Where
no wood is, there
the fire goeth out: so where there is
no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.
20-28:1 The
wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the
righteous are bold as a lion.
20-28:3 A
poor man that oppresseth the poor is like
a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.
20-28:17 A
man that doeth violence to the blood of any
person shall flee to the pit; let no man
stay him.
20-28:24 Whoso
robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.
20-29:9 If a wise man contendeth with a foolish
man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.
20-29:18 Where
there is no
vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
20-30:20 Such
is the way of an adulterous woman;
she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.
20-30:27 The
locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of
them by bands;
20-30:31 A
greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up.
20-31:7 Let
him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
20-31:11 The
heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
21-1:9 The
thing that hath been, it is that which
shall be; and that which is done is that
which shall be done: and there is no new thing under
the sun.
21-1:11 There is no
remembrance of former things; neither
shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.
21-2:11 Then
I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I
had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity
and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.
21-2:16 For
there is no
remembrance of the wise more than of the fool for ever; seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be
forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? as
the fool.
21-3:11 He
hath made every thing beautiful in
his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the
beginning to the end.
21-3:12 I
know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
21-3:19 For
that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth
them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so
that a man hath no preeminence above a beast:
for all is vanity.
21-4:1 So
I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and
behold the tears of such as were oppressed,
and they had no comforter; and on the side of
their oppressors there was power; but
they had no comforter.
21-4:8 There
is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath
neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied
with riches; neither saith he, For
whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a
sore travail.
21-4:13 Better
is a poor and a wise child than an
old and foolish king, who will no more be
admonished.
21-4:16 There is no
end of all the people, even of all
that have been before them: they also that come after shall not rejoice in him.
Surely this also is vanity and
vexation of spirit.
21-5:4 When
thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay
that which thou hast vowed.
21-6:3 If
a man beget an hundred children, and
live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not
filled with good, and also that he
have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better
than he.
21-6:6 Yea,
though he live a thousand years twice told,
yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to
one place?
21-7:21 Also
take no heed unto all words that are spoken;
lest thou hear thy servant curse thee:
21-8:5 Whoso
keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil
thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment.
21-8:8 There is no
man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no
discharge in that war; neither shall
wickedness deliver those that are given to it.
21-8:15 Then
I commended mirth, because a man hath no better
thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall
abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under
the sun.
21-9:1 For
all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous,
and the wise, and their works, are in
the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or
hatred by all that is before them.
21-9:8 Let
thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no
ointment.
21-9:10 Whatsoever
thy hand findeth to do, do it with
thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the
grave, whither thou goest.
21-9:15 Now
there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city;
yet no man remembered that same poor man.
21-10:11 Surely
the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better.
21-10:20 Curse
not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse
not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice,
and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.
21-12:1 Remember
now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the
years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no
pleasure in them;
21-12:12 And
further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no
end; and much study is a weariness of
the flesh.
22-4:7 Thou
art all fair, my love; there is no
spot in thee.
22-5:6 I
opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone: my soul failed when he
spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.
22-8:8 We
have a little sister, and she hath no breasts:
what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?
23-1:6 From
the sole of the foot even unto the head there
is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been
closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
23-1:13 Bring
no more vain oblations; incense is an
abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I
cannot away with; it is iniquity,
even the solemn meeting.
23-1:30 For
ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water.
23-5:6 And
I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come
up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
23-5:8 Woe
unto them that join house to house, that lay
field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst
of the earth!
23-5:13 Therefore
my people are gone into captivity, because they
have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried
up with thirst.
23-8:20 To
the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
23-9:7 Of
the increase of his government and
peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his
kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from
henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
23-9:17 Therefore
the Lord shall have no joy in their young men,
neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and
every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his
hand is stretched out still.
23-9:19 Through
the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as
the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his
brother.
23-10:15 Shall
the ax boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if
the rod should shake itself against
them that lift it up, or as if the
staff should lift up itself, as if it
were no wood.
23-10:20 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the
remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall
stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
23-13:14 And
it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no
man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one
into his own land.
23-13:18 Their bows also shall dash the young men
to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the
fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.
23-14:8 Yea,
the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the
cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou
art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
23-15:6 For
the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass
faileth, there is no green thing.
23-16:10 And
gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the
vineyards there shall be no singing, neither
shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no
wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease.
23-19:7 The
paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by
the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no
more.
23-23:1 The
burden of Tyre. Howl, ye ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there
is no house, no
entering in: from the land of Chittim it is revealed to them.
23-23:10 Pass
through thy land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength.
23-23:12 And
he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou
oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also
shalt thou have no rest.
23-24:10 The
city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
23-25:2 For
thou hast made of a city an heap; of a
defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no
city; it shall never be built.
23-26:21 For,
behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth
for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
23-27:11 When
the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no
understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he
that formed them will shew them no favour.
23-28:8 For
all tables are full of vomit and filthiness,
so that there is no place clean.
23-29:16 Surely
your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for
shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing
framed say of him that framed it, He had no
understanding?
23-30:7 For
the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no
purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.
23-30:16 But
ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses;
therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they
that pursue you be swift.
23-30:19 For
the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the
voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.
23-32:5 The
vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor
the churl said to be bountiful.
23-33:8 The
highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he
hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
23-33:21 But
there the glorious LORD will be unto
us a place of broad rivers and streams;
wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither
shall gallant ship pass thereby.
23-34:16 Seek
ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one
of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded,
and his spirit it hath gathered them.
23-35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found
there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
23-37:19 And
have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s
hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.
23-38:11 I
said, I shall not see the LORD, even the
LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no
more with the inhabitants of the world.
23-40:20 He
that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare
a graven image, that shall not be
moved.
23-40:28 Hast
thou not known? hast thou not heard, that
the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth,
fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
23-40:29 He
giveth power to the faint; and to them
that have no might he increaseth strength.
23-41:28 For
I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when
I asked of them, could answer a word.
23-43:10 Ye
are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and
my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand
that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
23-43:11 I,
even I, am the LORD; and beside me there
is no saviour.
23-43:12 I
have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I
am God.
23-43:24 Thou
hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither
hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to
serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.
23-44:6 Thus
saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there
is no God.
23-44:8 Fear
ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have
declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no
God; I know not any.
23-44:12 The
smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers,
and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his
strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is
faint.
23-45:5 I
am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not
known me:
23-45:9 Woe
unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let
the potsherd strive with the potsherds
of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou?
or thy work, He hath no hands?
23-45:14 Thus
saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the
Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine:
they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall
down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in
thee; and there is none else, there is no
God.
23-45:20 Assemble
yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that
are escaped of the nations: they have no
knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
23-45:21 Tell
ye, and bring them near; yea, let
them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no
God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
23-47:1 Come
down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no
throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no
more be called tender and delicate.
23-47:5 Sit
thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou
shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.
23-47:6 I
was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into
thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon
the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.
23-48:22 There is no
peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.
23-50:2 Wherefore,
when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it
cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold,
at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish
stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.
23-50:10 Who
is among you that feareth the LORD,
that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let
him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.
23-51:22 Thus
saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that
pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand
the cup of trembling, even the dregs
of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink
it again:
23-52:1 Awake,
awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem,
the holy city: for henceforth there shall no
more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
23-52:11 Depart
ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no
unclean thing; go ye out of the midst
of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.
23-53:2 For
he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry
ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when
we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
23-53:9 And
he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he
had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
23-54:9 For
this is as the waters of Noah unto
me: for as I have sworn that the
waters of Noah should no more go over the earth;
so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
23-54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and
every tongue that shall rise against
thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is
the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
23-55:1 Ho,
every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine
and milk without money and without price.
23-57:1 The
righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that
the righteous is taken away from the evil to
come.
23-57:10 Thou
art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet
saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast
found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.
23-57:21 There is no
peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
23-58:3 Wherefore
have we fasted, say they, and thou
seest not? wherefore have we
afflicted our soul, and thou takest no
knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your
labours.
23-59:8 The
way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them
crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
23-59:10 We
grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noon
day as in the night; we are in
desolate places as dead men.
23-59:15 Yea,
truth faileth; and he that departeth
from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there
was no judgment.
23-59:16 And
he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore
his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
23-60:15 Whereas
thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no
man went through thee, I will make
thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
23-60:18 Violence
shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor
destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and
thy gates Praise.
23-60:19 The
sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither
for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto
thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
23-60:20 Thy
sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy
moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the
days of thy mourning shall be ended.
23-62:4 Thou
shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall
thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and
thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be
married.
23-62:7 And
give him no rest, till he establish, and till he
make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
23-62:8 The
LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I
will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall
not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
23-65:19 And
I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping
shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of
crying.
23-65:20 There
shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor
an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred
years old; but the sinner being an
hundred years old shall be accursed.
24-2:6 Neither
said they, Where is the LORD that brought
us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a
land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of
death, through a land that no man passed
through, and where no man dwelt?
24-2:11 Hath
a nation changed their gods, which are yet no
gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.
24-2:13 For
my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of
living waters, and hewed them out
cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no
water.
24-2:25 Withhold
thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There
is no hope: no;
for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.
24-2:30 In
vain have I smitten your children; they received no
correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.
24-2:31 O
generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel?
a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee?
24-3:3 Therefore
the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no
latter rain; and thou hadst a whore’s forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
24-3:16 And
it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in
those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no
more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind:
neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be
done any more.
24-4:22 For
my people is foolish, they have not
known me; they are sottish children,
and they have none understanding: they are
wise to do evil, but to do good they have no
knowledge.
24-4:23 I
beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without
form, and void; and the heavens, and they had
no light.
24-4:25 I
beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
24-5:7 How
shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no
gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and
assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses.
24-6:10 To
whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot
hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.
24-6:14 They
have healed also the hurt of the daughter
of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
24-6:23 They
shall lay hold on bow and spear; they are
cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth
like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as men for war against
thee, O daughter of Zion.
24-7:32 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no
more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of
slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.
24-8:6 I
hearkened and heard, but they spake
not aright: no man repented him of his
wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the
horse rusheth into the battle.
24-8:11 For
they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace,
peace; when there is no peace.
24-8:13 I
will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there
shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on
the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the
things that I have given them shall pass away from them.
24-8:15 We
looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health, and
behold trouble!
24-8:22 Is there no
balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the
daughter of my people recovered?
24-10:14 Every
man is brutish in his knowledge:
every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
24-11:19 But
I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had
devised devices against me, saying, Let
us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the
land of the living, that his name may be no more
remembered.
24-11:23 And
there shall be no remnant of them: for I will
bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, even
the year of their visitation.
24-12:11 They
have made it desolate, and being desolate
it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth it
to heart.
24-12:12 The
spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of
the LORD shall devour from the one end
of the land even to the other end of
the land: no flesh shall have peace.
24-14:3 And
their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, and found no
water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded,
and covered their heads.
24-14:4 Because
the ground is chapt, for there was no rain in
the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their heads.
24-14:5 Yea,
the hind also calved in the field, and forsook it, because there was no grass.
24-14:6 And
the wild asses did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like
dragons; their eyes did fail, because there
was no grass.
24-14:19 Hast
thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul loathed Zion? why hast thou smitten
us, and there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no
good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble!
24-16:14 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no
more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of
the land of Egypt;
24-16:19 O
LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the
Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely
our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
24-16:20 Shall
a man make gods unto himself, and they are
no gods?
24-17:21 Thus
saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no
burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in
by the gates of Jerusalem;
24-17:24 And
it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to
bring in no burden through the gates of this
city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;
24-18:12 And
they said, There is no hope: but we will walk
after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil
heart.
24-19:6 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of
Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter.
24-19:11 And
shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this
people and this city, as one breaketh
a potter’s vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no
place to bury.
24-22:3 Thus
saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled
out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no
wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the
fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.
24-22:10 Weep
ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: but
weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.
24-22:12 But
he shall die in the place whither they have led him captive, and shall see this
land no more.
24-22:28 Is this man Coniah a despised broken
idol? is he a vessel wherein is no
pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a
land which they know not?
24-22:30 Thus
saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no
man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any
more in Judah.
24-23:4 And
I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be
lacking, saith the LORD.
24-23:7 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no
more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the
land of Egypt;
24-23:17 They
say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace;
and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own
heart, No evil shall come upon you.
24-23:36 And
the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more:
for every man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of
the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.
24-25:6 And
go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not
to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.
24-25:27 Therefore
thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no
more, because of the sword which I will send among you.
24-25:35 And
the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the
principal of the flock to escape.
24-30:8 For
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy
neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no
more serve themselves of him:
24-30:13 There is none to plead thy cause, that
thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing
medicines.
24-30:17 For
I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the
LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying,
This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
24-31:29 In
those days they shall say no more, The fathers
have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
24-31:34 And
they shall teach no more every man his
neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all
know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for
I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
24-33:24 Considerest
thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD
hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people,
that they should be no more a nation before
them.
24-35:6 But
they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab
the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither
ye, nor your sons for ever:
24-35:8 Thus
have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he
hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days,
we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters;
24-36:19 Then
said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide thee, thou and Jeremiah; and let no man know where ye be.
24-38:6 Then
took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of
Hammelech, that was in the court of
the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no
water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire.
24-38:9 My
lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah
the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die for
hunger in the place where he is: for there
is no more bread in the city.
24-38:24 Then
said Zedekiah unto Jeremiah, Let no man know of
these words, and thou shalt not die.
24-39:12 Take
him, and look well to him, and do him no harm;
but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee.
24-40:15 Then
Johanan the son of Kareah spake to Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly, saying, Let me
go, I pray thee, and I will slay Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man shall know it:
wherefore should he slay thee, that all the Jews which are gathered unto
thee should be scattered, and the remnant in Judah perish?
24-41:4 And
it came to pass the second day after he had slain Gedaliah, and no man knew it,
24-42:14 Saying,
No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where
we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the
trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:
24-42:18 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath
been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured
forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration,
and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more.
24-44:2 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I
have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold,
this day they are a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein,
24-44:5 But
they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to
burn no incense unto other gods.
24-44:17 But
we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn
incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as
we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of
Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then
had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no
evil.
24-44:22 So
that the LORD could no longer bear, because of
the evil of your doings, and because
of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a
desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this
day.
24-44:26 Therefore
hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt;
Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in
all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth.
24-45:3 Thou
didst say, Woe is me now! for the LORD hath added grief to my sorrow; I fainted
in my sighing, and I find no rest.
24-46:25 The
LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of
No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and
their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them
that trust in him:
24-48:2 There shall be no
more praise of Moab: in Heshbon they have devised evil against it; come, and
let us cut it off from being a
nation. Also thou shalt be cut down, O Madmen; the sword shall pursue thee.
24-48:8 And
the spoiler shall come upon every city, and no
city shall escape: the valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed,
as the LORD hath spoken.
24-48:33 And
joy and gladness is taken from the plentiful field, and from the land of Moab;
and I have caused wine to fail from the winepresses: none shall tread with
shouting; their shouting shall be no
shouting.
24-48:38 There shall be lamentation generally
upon all the housetops of Moab, and in the streets thereof: for I have broken
Moab like a vessel wherein is no pleasure, saith the LORD.
24-49:1 Concerning
the Ammonites, thus saith the LORD; Hath Israel no
sons? hath he no heir? why then doth their king inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his
cities?
24-49:7 Concerning
Edom, thus saith the LORD of hosts; Is wisdom
no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the
prudent? is their wisdom vanished?
24-49:18 As
in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD, no
man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.
24-49:33 And
Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and
a desolation for ever: there shall no man
abide there, nor any son of man dwell
in it.
24-49:36 And
upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and
will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.
24-50:14 Put
yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow,
shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath
sinned against the LORD.
24-50:39 Therefore
the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein:
and it shall be no more inhabited for ever;
neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation.
24-50:40 As
God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD; so
shall no man abide there, neither shall any
son of man dwell therein.
24-51:17 Every
man is brutish by his knowledge;
every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
24-51:43 Her
cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.
24-52:6 And
in the fourth month, in the ninth day of
the month, the famine was sore in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
25-1:3 Judah
is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude:
she dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth no
rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits.
25-1:6 And
from the daughter of Zion all her beauty is departed: her princes are become
like harts that find no pasture, and they are gone without strength before
the pursuer.
25-1:9 Her
filthiness is in her skirts; she
remembereth not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully: she had no comforter. O LORD, behold my affliction: for the
enemy hath magnified himself.
25-2:9 Her
gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king
and her princes are among the
Gentiles: the law is no more; her
prophets also find no vision from the LORD.
25-2:18 Their
heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down
like a river day and night: give thyself no
rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.
25-4:4 The
tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the
young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it
unto them.
25-4:6 For
the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the
punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her.
25-4:15 They
cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean;
depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among
the heathen, They shall no more sojourn there.
25-4:16 The
anger of the LORD hath divided them; he will no
more regard them: they respected not the persons of the priests, they favoured
not the elders.
25-4:22 The
punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into captivity: he will visit
thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover thy sins.
25-5:5 Our
necks are under persecution: we
labour, and have no rest.
26-12:23 Tell
them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and
they shall no more use it as a proverb in
Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every
vision.
26-12:24 For
there shall be no more any vain vision nor
flattering divination within the house of Israel.
26-12:25 For
I am the LORD: I will speak, and the
word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say
the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:10 Because,
even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no
peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:
26-13:15 Thus
will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it
with untempered morter, and will say
unto you, The wall is no more, neither
they that daubed it;
26-13:16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which
prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no
peace, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:21 Your
kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they
shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and
ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-13:23 Therefore
ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine
divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know
that I am the LORD.
26-14:11 That
the house of Israel may go no more astray from
me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they
may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD.
26-14:15 If
I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it
be desolate, that no man may pass through
because of the beasts:
26-15:5 Behold,
when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how
much less shall it be meet yet for any work,
when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned?
26-16:34 And
the contrary is in thee from other women
in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that
thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto
thee, therefore thou art contrary.
26-16:41 And
they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the
sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot,
and thou also shalt give no hire any more.
26-16:42 So
will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from
thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more
angry.
26-18:32 For
I have no pleasure in the death of him that
dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves,
and live ye.
26-19:9 And
they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they
brought him into holds, that his voice should no
more be heard upon the mountains of Israel.
26-19:14 And
fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which
hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no
strong rod to be a sceptre to rule.
This is a lamentation, and shall be
for a lamentation.
26-20:39 As
for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one
his idols, and hereafter also, if ye
will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no
more with your gifts, and with your idols.
26-21:13 Because
it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall
be no more,
saith the Lord GOD.
26-21:27 I
will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no
more, until he come whose right it
is; and I will give it him.
26-21:32 Thou
shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land;
thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.
26-22:26 Her
priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put
no difference between the holy and profane,
neither have they shewed difference between
the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am
profaned among them.
26-24:6 Wherefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone
out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no
lot fall upon it.
26-24:17 Forbear
to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the
tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not
thy lips, and eat not the bread of
men.
26-24:27 In
that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt
speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a
sign unto them; and they shall know that I am
the LORD.
26-26:13 And
I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall
be no more heard.
26-26:14 And
I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-26:21 I
will make thee a terror, and thou shalt
be no more:
though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the
Lord GOD.
26-28:3 Behold,
thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
26-28:9 Wilt
thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a
man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth
thee.
26-28:24 And
there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the
house of Israel, nor any grieving
thorn of all that are round about
them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
26-29:11 No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of
beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.
26-29:15 It
shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more
above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
26-29:16 And
it shall be no more the confidence of the house
of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity
to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
26-29:18 Son
of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service
against Tyrus: every head was made
bald, and every shoulder was peeled:
yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus,
for the service that he had served against it:
26-30:13 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and
there shall be no more a prince of the land of
Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
26-30:14 And
I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute
judgments in No.
26-30:15 And
I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the
multitude of No.
26-30:16 And
I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily.
26-33:11 Say
unto them, As I live, saith the Lord
GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the
wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your
evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
26-33:22 Now
the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped
came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth
was opened, and I was no more dumb.
26-34:5 And
they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of
the field, when they were scattered.
26-34:8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely
because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the
field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my
flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
26-34:22 Therefore
will I save my flock, and they shall no more be
a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.
26-34:28 And
they shall no more be a prey to the heathen,
neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely,
and none shall make them afraid.
26-34:29 And
I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear
the shame of the heathen any more.
26-36:12 Yea,
I will cause men to walk upon you, even my
people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their
inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth
bereave them of men.
26-36:14 Therefore
thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave
thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.
26-36:29 I
will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn,
and will increase it, and lay no famine upon
you.
26-36:30 And
I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye
shall receive no more reproach of famine among
the heathen.
26-37:8 And
when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin
covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
26-37:22 And
I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one
king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no
more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at
all:
26-39:10 So
that they shall take no wood out of the field,
neither cut down any out of the
forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those
that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
26-43:7 And
he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles
of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever,
and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no
more defile, neither they, nor their
kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high
places.
26-44:2 Then
said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God
of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.
26-44:9 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised
in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger
that is among the children of Israel.
26-44:17 And
it shall come to pass, that when they
enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen
garments; and no wool shall come upon them,
whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.
26-44:25 And
they shall come at no dead person to defile
themselves: but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for
brother, or for sister that hath had no husband,
they may defile themselves.
26-44:28 And
it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am
their inheritance: and ye shall give them no
possession in Israel: I am their
possession.
26-45:8 In
the land shall be his possession in Israel: and my princes shall no more oppress my people; and the rest of the land shall they give to the house of Israel
according to their tribes.
27-1:4 Children
in whom was no
blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in
knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace, and whom they
might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
27-2:10 The
Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth
that can shew the king’s matter: therefore there
is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician,
or astrologer, or Chaldean.
27-2:35 Then
was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces
together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind
carried them away, that no place was found for
them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled
the whole earth.
27-3:25 He
answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire,
and they have no hurt; and the form of the
fourth is like the Son of God.
27-3:27 And
the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being
gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed,
neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
27-3:29 Therefore
I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing
amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in
pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
27-4:9 O
Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the
holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my
dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.
27-6:2 And
over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was
first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should
have no damage.
27-6:15 Then
these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that
the law of the Medes and Persians is, That
no decree nor statute which the king
establisheth may be changed.
27-6:22 My
God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not
hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before
thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
27-6:23 Then
was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel
up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he
believed in his God.
27-8:4 I
saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of
his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
27-8:7 And
I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him,
and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast
him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could
deliver the ram out of his hand.
27-10:3 I
ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor
wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks
were fulfilled.
27-10:8 Therefore
I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me
into corruption, and I retained no strength.
27-10:16 And,
behold, one like the similitude of
the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said
unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned
upon me, and I have retained no strength.
27-10:17 For
how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me,
straightway there remained no strength in me,
neither is there breath left in me.
28-1:6 And
she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I
will utterly take them away.
28-2:16 And
it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that
thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no
more Baali.
28-2:17 For
I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.
28-4:1 Hear
the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy
with the inhabitants of the land, because there
is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God
in the land.
28-4:4 Yet
let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy
people are as they that strive with
the priest.
28-4:6 My
people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected
knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no
priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget
thy children.
28-8:7 For
they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no
meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.
28-8:8 Israel
is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no
pleasure.
28-9:15 All
their wickedness is in Gilgal: for
there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of
mine house, I will love them no more: all their
princes are revolters.
28-9:16 Ephraim
is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no
fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of
their womb.
28-10:3 For
now they shall say, We have no king, because we
feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us?
28-13:4 Yet
I am the LORD thy God from the land
of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for
there is no
saviour beside me.
29-1:18 How
do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made
desolate.
29-2:19 Yea,
the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and
wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
29-3:17 So
shall ye know that I am the LORD your
God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there
shall no strangers pass through her any more.
30-3:4 Will
a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey?
will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?
30-3:5 Can
a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no
gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and
have taken nothing at all?
30-5:2 The
virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more
rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there
is none to raise her up.
30-5:20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very
dark, and no brightness in it?
30-6:10 And
a man’s uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the
bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is
there yet any with thee? and he
shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy
tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.
30-7:14 Then
answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was
no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was
an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:
30-9:15 And
I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no
more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy
God.
33-3:7 Then
shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all
cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
33-4:9 Now
why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs
have taken thee as a woman in travail.
33-5:12 And
I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:
33-5:13 Thy
graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of
thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of
thine hands.
33-7:1 Woe
is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the
grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe
fruit.
34-1:12 Thus
saith the LORD; Though they be quiet,
and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through.
Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no
more.
34-1:14 And
the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown:
out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image:
I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.
34-1:15 Behold
upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth
peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.
34-2:13 Behold,
I am against thee, saith the LORD of
hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour
thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of
thy messengers shall no more be heard.
34-3:8 Art
thou better than populous No, that was situate
among the rivers, that had the waters
round about it, whose rampart was the
sea, and her wall was from the sea?
34-3:18 Thy
shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria: thy nobles shall dwell in the dust: thy people is scattered
upon the mountains, and no man gathereth them.
34-3:19 There is no
healing of thy bruise; thy wound is grievous: all that hear the bruit of thee
shall clap the hands over thee: for upon whom hath not thy wickedness passed
continually?
35-1:14 And
makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no
ruler over them?
35-2:19 Woe
unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall
teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold
and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
35-3:17 Although
the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall
fruit be in the vines; the labour
of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no
meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the
stalls:
36-2:5 Woe
unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word
of the LORD is against you; O Canaan,
the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.
36-3:5 The
just LORD is in the midst thereof; he
will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he
faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.
36-3:6 I
have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets
waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.
36-3:11 In
that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast
transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee
them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no
more be haughty because of my holy mountain.
37-2:12 If
one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch
bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the
priests answered and said, No.
38-1:21 Then
said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to
fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to
scatter it.
38-4:5 Then
the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what
these be? And I said, No, my lord.
38-4:13 And
he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
38-7:14 But
I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not.
Thus the land was desolate after them, that no
man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.
38-8:10 For
before these days there was no hire for man, nor
any hire for beast; neither was there any
peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set
all men every one against his neighbour.
38-8:17 And
let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.
38-9:8 And
I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth
by, and because of him that returneth: and no
oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.
38-9:11 As
for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out
of the pit wherein is no water.
38-10:2 For
the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told
false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock,
they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.
38-11:6 For
I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land,
saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s
hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of
their hand I will not deliver them.
38-13:2 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the
idols out of the land, and they shall no more be
remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass
out of the land.
38-13:5 But
he shall say, I am no prophet, I am
an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
38-14:11 And
men shall dwell in it, and there
shall be no more utter destruction; but
Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
38-14:17 And
it shall be, that whoso will not come
up of all the families of the earth
unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
38-14:18 And
if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the
heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
38-14:21 Yea,
every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts:
and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein:
and in that day there shall be no more the
Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
39-1:10 Who
is there even among you that would
shut the doors for nought? neither do
ye kindle fire on mine altar for
nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the
LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
40-5:18 For
verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall
in no wise pass from the law, till all be
fulfilled.
40-5:20 For
I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and
Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the
kingdom of heaven.
40-5:26 Verily
I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out
thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
40-6:1 Take
heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have
no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
40-6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate
the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the
other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
40-6:25 Therefore
I say unto you, Take no thought for your life,
what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall
put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
40-6:31 Therefore
take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or,
What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
40-6:34 Take
therefore no thought for the morrow: for the
morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
40-8:4 And
Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but
go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses
commanded, for a testimony unto them.
40-8:10 When
Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and
said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great
faith, no, not in Israel.
40-8:28 And
when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there
met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce,
so that no man might pass by that way.
40-9:16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old
garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and
the rent is made worse.
40-9:30 And
their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no
man know it.
40-9:36 But
when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they
fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no
shepherd.
40-10:19 But
when they deliver you up, take no thought how or
what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall
speak.
40-10:42 And
whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple,
verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose
his reward.
40-11:27 All
things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no
man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save
the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son
will reveal him.
40-12:39 But
he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after
a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it,
but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
40-13:5 Some
fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they
sprung up, because they had no deepness of
earth:
40-13:6 And
when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
40-16:4 A
wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet
Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
40-16:7 And
they reasoned among themselves, saying, It
is because we have taken no bread.
40-16:8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto
them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have
brought no bread?
40-16:20 Then
charged he his disciples that they should tell no
man that he was Jesus the Christ.
40-17:8 And
when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no
man, save Jesus only.
40-17:9 And
as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the
vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen
again from the dead.
40-19:6 Wherefore
they are no more twain, but one flesh. What
therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
40-19:18 He
saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no
murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not
bear false witness,
40-20:7 They
say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He
saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
40-20:13 But
he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no
wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
40-21:19 And
when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon,
but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit
grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
40-22:23 The
same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
40-22:24 Saying,
Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no
children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
40-22:25 Now
there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife,
deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife
unto his brother:
40-22:46 And
no man was able to answer him a word, neither
durst any man from that day forth ask
him any more questions.
40-23:9 And
call no man
your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
40-24:4 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no
man deceive you.
40-24:21 For
then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the
world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
40-24:22 And
except those days should be shortened, there should no
flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
40-24:36 But
of that day and hour knoweth no man, no,
not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
40-25:3 They
that were foolish took their lamps,
and took no oil with them:
40-25:42 For
I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was
thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
40-26:55 In
that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief
with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the
temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
41-1:45 But
he went out, and began to publish it much,
and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in
desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.
41-2:2 And
straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them,
no, not so much as about the door: and he
preached the word unto them.
41-2:17 When
Jesus heard it, he saith unto them,
They that are whole have no need of the
physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but
sinners to repentance.
41-2:21 No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment:
else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is
made worse.
41-2:22 And
no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else
the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles
will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.
41-3:27 No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil
his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his
house.
41-4:5 And
some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it
sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:
41-4:6 But
when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
41-4:7 And
some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
41-4:17 And
have no root in themselves, and so endure but
for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s
sake, immediately they are offended.
41-4:40 And
he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
41-5:3 Who
had his dwelling among the tombs; and
no man could bind him, no,
not with chains:
41-5:37 And
he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter,
and James, and John the brother of James.
41-5:43 And
he charged them straitly that no man should know
it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.
41-6:5 And
he could there do no mighty work, save that he
laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
41-6:8 And
commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no
scrip, no bread, no
money in their purse:
41-6:31 And
he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a
while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
41-7:12 And
ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father
or his mother;
41-7:24 And
from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered
into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.
41-7:36 And
he charged them that they should tell no man:
but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;
41-8:12 And
he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after
a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no
sign be given unto this generation.
41-8:16 And
they reasoned among themselves, saying, It
is because we have no bread.
41-8:17 And
when Jesus knew it, he saith unto
them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread?
perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?
41-8:30 And
he charged them that they should tell no man of
him.
41-9:3 And
his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
41-9:8 And
suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no
man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.
41-9:9 And
as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man
were risen from the dead.
41-9:25 When
Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit,
saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf
spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no
more into him.
41-9:39 But
Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man
which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
41-10:8 And
they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no
more twain, but one flesh.
41-10:29 And
Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters,
or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the
gospel’s,
41-11:14 And
Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat
fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
41-12:14 And
when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and
carest for no man: for thou regardest not the
person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give
tribute to Caesar, or not?
41-12:18 Then
come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no
resurrection; and they asked him, saying,
41-12:19 Master,
Moses wrote unto us, If a man’s brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and
leave no children, that his brother should take
his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
41-12:20 Now
there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
41-12:22 And
the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all
the woman died also.
41-12:34 And
when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far
from the kingdom of God. And no man after that
durst ask him any question.
41-13:11 But
when they shall lead you, and deliver
you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall
speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that
hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
41-13:20 And
except that the Lord had shortened those days, no
flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath
shortened the days.
41-13:32 But
of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the
angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
41-14:25 Verily
I say unto you, I will drink no more of the
fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
42-1:7 And
they had no child, because that Elisabeth was
barren, and they both were now well
stricken in years.
42-1:33 And
he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall
be no end.
42-2:7 And
she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and
laid him in a manger; because there was no room
for them in the inn.
42-3:13 And
he said unto them, Exact no more than that which
is appointed you.
42-3:14 And
the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he
said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither
accuse any falsely; and be content
with your wages.
42-4:24 And
he said, Verily, I say unto you, No prophet is
accepted in his own country.
42-5:14 And
he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew
thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses
commanded, for a testimony unto them.
42-5:36 And
he spake also a parable unto them; No man
putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new
maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken
out of the new agreeth not with the old.
42-5:37 And
no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else
the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall
perish.
42-5:39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
42-7:9 When
Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said
unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great
faith, no, not in Israel.
42-7:44 And
he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered
into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my
feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
42-7:45 Thou
gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time
I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
42-8:13 They
on the rock are they, which, when
they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no
root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
42-8:14 And
that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth,
and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to
perfection.
42-8:16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it
with a vessel, or putteth it under a
bed; but setteth it on a candlestick,
that they which enter in may see the light.
42-8:27 And
when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which
had devils long time, and ware no clothes,
neither abode in any house, but in
the tombs.
42-8:51 And
when he came into the house, he suffered no man
to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the
maiden.
42-8:56 And
her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.
42-9:13 But
he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we
should go and buy meat for all this people.
42-9:21 And
he straitly charged them, and commanded them
to tell no man that thing;
42-9:36 And
when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they
had seen.
42-9:62 And
Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand
to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
42-10:4 Carry
neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no
man by the way.
42-10:22 All
things are delivered to me of my Father: and no
man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son,
and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
42-11:20 But
if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no
doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
42-11:29 And
when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil
generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no
sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
42-11:33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel,
but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
42-11:36 If
thy whole body therefore be full of
light, having no part dark, the whole shall be
full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
42-12:4 And
I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after
that have no more that they can do.
42-12:11 And
when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no
thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
42-12:17 And
he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
42-12:22 And
he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither
for the body, what ye shall put on.
42-12:33 Sell
that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a
treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no
thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
42-13:11 And,
behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and
was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up
herself.
42-15:7 I
say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that
repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
42-15:16 And
he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
42-15:19 And
am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me
as one of thy hired servants.
42-15:21 And
the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight,
and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
42-16:2 And
he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an
account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no
longer steward.
42-16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will
hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise
the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
42-18:17 Verily
I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little
child shall in no wise enter therein.
42-18:29 And
he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no
man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for
the kingdom of God’s sake,
42-20:22 Is
it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
42-20:31 And
the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
42-22:36 Then
said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no
sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
42-22:53 When
I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no
hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
42-23:4 Then
said Pilate to the chief priests and to the
people, I find no fault in this man.
42-23:14 Said
unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people:
and, behold, I, having examined him before
you, have found no fault in this man touching
those things whereof ye accuse him:
42-23:15 No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo,
nothing worthy of death is done unto him.
42-23:22 And
he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise
him, and let him go.
43-1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten
Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
43-1:21 And
they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou
that prophet? And he answered, No.
43-1:47 Jesus
saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in
whom is no guile!
43-2:3 And
when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
43-3:2 The
same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a
teacher come from God: for no man can do these
miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
43-3:13 And
no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that
came down from heaven, even the Son
of man which is in heaven.
43-3:32 And
what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no
man receiveth his testimony.
43-4:9 Then
saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest
drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
43-4:17 The
woman answered and said, I have no husband.
Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no
husband:
43-4:27 And
upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou
with her?
43-4:38 I
sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no
labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
43-4:44 For
Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no
honour in his own country.
43-5:7 The
impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man,
when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming,
another steppeth down before me.
43-5:14 Afterward
Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made
whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto
thee.
43-5:22 For
the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed
all judgment unto the Son:
43-6:37 All
that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in
no wise cast out.
43-6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath
sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
43-6:53 Then
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of
the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no
life in you.
43-6:65 And
he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man
can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
43-6:66 From
that time many of his disciples went
back, and walked no more with him.
43-7:4 For
there is no
man that doeth any thing in secret,
and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew
thyself to the world.
43-7:13 Howbeit
no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.
43-7:18 He
that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory
that sent him, the same is true, and no
unrighteousness is in him.
43-7:27 Howbeit
we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no
man knoweth whence he is.
43-7:30 Then
they sought to take him: but no man laid hands
on him, because his hour was not yet come.
43-7:44 And
some of them would have taken him; but no man
laid hands on him.
43-7:52 They
answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out
of Galilee ariseth no prophet.
43-8:10 When
Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her,
Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no
man condemned thee?
43-8:11 She
said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither
do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
43-8:15 Ye
judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
43-8:20 These
words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet
come.
43-8:37 I
know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
43-8:44 Ye
are of your father the devil, and the
lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and
abode not in the truth, because there is no
truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar,
and the father of it.
43-9:4 I
must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh,
when no man can work.
43-9:25 He
answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or
no, I know not: one thing I know, that,
whereas I was blind, now I see.
43-9:41 Jesus
said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no
sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
43-10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself.
I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This
commandment have I received of my Father.
43-10:29 My
Father, which gave them me, is
greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out
of my Father’s hand.
43-10:41 And
many resorted unto him, and said, John did no
miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.
43-11:10 But
if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
43-11:54 Jesus
therefore walked no more openly among the Jews;
but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called
Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.
43-13:8 Peter
saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash
thee not, thou hast no part with me.
43-13:28 Now
no man at the table knew for what intent he
spake this unto him.
43-14:6 Jesus
saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no
man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
43-14:19 Yet
a little while, and the world seeth me no more;
but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
43-15:4 Abide
in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide
in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in
me.
43-15:13 Greater
love hath no man than this, that a man lay down
his life for his friends.
43-15:22 If
I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
43-16:10 Of
righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
43-16:21 A
woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon
as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no
more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
43-16:22 And
ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall
rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
43-16:25 These
things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew
you plainly of the Father.
43-16:29 His
disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
43-17:11 And
now I am no more in the world, but these are in
the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those
whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
43-18:38 Pilate
saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again
unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no
fault at all.
43-19:4 Pilate
therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to
you, that ye may know that I find no fault in
him.
43-19:6 When
the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify
him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no
fault in him.
43-19:9 And
went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But
Jesus gave him no answer.
43-19:11 Jesus
answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given
thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
43-19:15 But
they cried out, Away with him, away
with him, crucify him. Pilate saith
unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.
43-21:5 Then
Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
44-1:20 For
it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another
take.
44-4:17 But
that it spread no further among the people, let
us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
44-5:13 And
of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but
the people magnified them.
44-5:23 Saying,
The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing
without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.
44-7:5 And
he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he
promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after
him, when as yet he had no child.
44-7:11 Now
there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great
affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance.
44-8:39 And
when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away
Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he
went on his way rejoicing.
44-9:7 And
the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
44-9:8 And
Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
44-10:34 Then
Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a
truth I perceive that God is no respecter of
persons:
44-12:18 Now
as soon as it was day, there was no small stir
among the soldiers, what was become of Peter.
44-13:28 And
though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he
should be slain.
44-13:34 And
as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption,
he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
44-13:37 But
he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.
44-13:41 Behold,
ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work
which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man
declare it unto you.
44-15:2 When
therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small
dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas,
and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and
elders about this question.
44-15:9 And
put no difference between us and them, purifying
their hearts by faith.
44-15:24 Forasmuch
as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with
words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye
must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
44-15:28 For
it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
44-16:28 But
Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no
harm: for we are all here.
44-18:10 For
I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to
hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
44-18:15 But
if it be a question of words and names, and of
your law, look ye to it; for I
will be no judge of such matters.
44-19:23 And
the same time there arose no small stir about
that way.
44-19:24 For
a certain man named Demetrius, a
silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;
44-19:26 Moreover
ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia,
this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:
44-19:40 For
we are in danger to be called in question for this day’s uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this
concourse.
44-20:25 And
now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom
of God, shall see my face no more.
44-20:33 I
have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or
apparel.
44-20:38 Sorrowing
most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
44-21:25 As
touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no
such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and
from fornication.
44-21:39 But
Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew
of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a
citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee,
suffer me to speak unto the people.
44-23:8 For
the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection,
neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.
44-23:9 And
there arose a great cry: and the scribes that
were of the Pharisees’ part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath
spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
44-23:22 So
the chief captain then let the young
man depart, and charged him, See thou tell
no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
44-25:10 Then
said Paul, I stand at Caesar’s judgment seat, where I ought to be judged: to
the Jews have I done no wrong, as thou very well
knowest.
44-25:11 For
if I be an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not
to die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar.
44-25:26 Of
whom I have no certain thing to write unto my
lord. Wherefore I have brought him forth before you, and specially before thee,
O king Agrippa, that, after examination had, I might have somewhat to write.
44-27:20 And
when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no
small tempest lay on us, all hope
that we should be saved was then taken away.
44-27:22 And
now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any
man’s life among you, but of the ship.
44-28:2 And
the barbarous people shewed us no little
kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the
present rain, and because of the cold.
44-28:4 And
when the barbarians saw the venomous beast
hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No
doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet
vengeance suffereth not to live.
44-28:5 And
he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no
harm.
44-28:6 Howbeit
they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but
after they had looked a great while, and saw no
harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.
44-28:18 Who,
when they had examined me, would have let me
go, because there was no cause of death in
me.
44-28:31 Preaching
the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus
Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding
him.
45-2:11 For
there is no respect of persons with God.
45-3:9 What
then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we
have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
45-3:10 As
it is written, There is none righteous, no, not
one:
45-3:12 They
are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is
none that doeth good, no, not one.
45-3:18 There
is no fear of God before their eyes.
45-3:20 Therefore
by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be
justified in his sight: for by the law is
the knowledge of sin.
45-3:22 Even
the righteousness of God which is by faith
of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
45-4:15 Because
the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no
transgression.
45-5:13 (For
until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
45-6:9 Knowing
that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no
more; death hath no more dominion over him.
45-7:3 So
then if, while her husband liveth,
she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her
husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
45-7:17 Now
then it is no more I that do it, but sin that
dwelleth in me.
45-7:18 For
I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no
good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
45-7:20 Now
if I do that I would not, it is no more I that
do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
45-8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who
walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
45-10:12 For
there is no difference between the Jew and the
Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
45-10:19 But
I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy
by them that are no people, and by
a foolish nation I will anger you.
45-11:6 And
if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more
grace: otherwise work is no more work.
45-12:17 Recompense
to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest
in the sight of all men.
45-13:1 Let
every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained
of God.
45-13:8 Owe
no man any thing, but to love one another: for
he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
45-13:10 Love
worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
45-14:7 For
none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth
to himself.
45-14:13 Let
us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.
45-15:23 But
now having no more place in these parts, and
having a great desire these many years to come unto you;
46-1:7 So
that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
46-1:10 Now
I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all
speak the same thing, and that there
be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in
the same mind and in the same judgment.
46-1:29 That
no flesh should glory in his presence.
46-2:11 For
what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him?
even so the things of God knoweth no man, but
the Spirit of God.
46-2:15 But
he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
46-3:11 For
other foundation can no man lay than that is
laid, which is Jesus Christ.
46-3:18 Let
no man deceive himself. If any man among you
seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
46-3:21 Therefore
let no man glory in men. For all things are
yours;
46-4:6 And
these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might
learn in us not to think of men above
that which is written, that no one of you be
puffed up for one against another.
46-4:11 Even
unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are
buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;
46-5:11 But
now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a
brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a
drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no
not to eat.
46-6:5 I
speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his
brethren?
46-7:25 Now
concerning virgins I have no commandment of the
Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be
faithful.
46-7:37 Nevertheless
he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no
necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart
that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.
46-8:13 Wherefore,
if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no
flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.
46-9:10 Or
saith he it altogether for our sakes?
For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that
he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
46-10:13 There
hath no temptation taken you but such as is
common to man: but God is faithful,
who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the
temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
46-10:24 Let
no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.
46-10:25 Whatsoever
is sold in the shambles, that eat,
asking no question for conscience sake:
46-10:27 If
any of them that believe not bid you to a
feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.
46-11:16 But
if any man seem to be contentious, we have no
such custom, neither the churches of God.
46-12:3 Wherefore
I give you to understand, that no man speaking by
the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is
the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
46-12:21 And
the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need
of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no
need of you.
46-12:24 For
our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together,
having given more abundant honour to that part
which lacked:
46-12:25 That
there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same
care one for another.
46-13:5 Doth
not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,
thinketh no evil;
46-14:2 For
he that speaketh in an unknown tongue
speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man
understandeth him; howbeit in the
spirit he speaketh mysteries.
46-14:28 But
if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence
in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
46-15:12 Now
if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that
there is no resurrection of the dead?
46-15:13 But
if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is
Christ not risen:
46-16:2 Upon
the first day of the week let every
one of you lay by him in store, as God hath
prospered him, that there be no gatherings when
I come.
46-16:11 Let
no man therefore despise him: but conduct him
forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
47-2:13 I
had no rest in my spirit, because I found not
Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into
Macedonia.
47-3:10 For
even that which was made glorious had no glory
in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
47-5:16 Wherefore
henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea,
though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no
more.
47-5:21 For
he hath made him to be sin for us,
who knew no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in him.
47-6:3 Giving
no offence in any thing, that the ministry be
not blamed:
47-7:2 Receive
us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no
man.
47-7:5 For,
when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no
rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears.
47-8:15 As
it is written, He that had gathered much
had nothing over; and he that had
gathered little had no lack.
47-8:20 Avoiding
this, that no man should blame us in this
abundance which is administered by us:
47-11:9 And
when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren
which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.
47-11:10 As
the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop
me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
47-11:14 And
no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into
an angel of light.
47-11:15 Therefore
it is no
great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;
whose end shall be according to their works.
47-11:16 I
say again, Let no man think me a fool; if
otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.
47-13:7 Now
I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we
should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we
be as reprobates.
48-2:5 To
whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an
hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
48-2:6 But
of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
48-2:16 Knowing
that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus
Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by
the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the
law shall no flesh be justified.
48-3:11 But
that no man is justified by the law in the sight
of God, it is evident: for, The just
shall live by faith.
48-3:15 Brethren,
I speak after the manner of men; Though it
be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be
confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth
thereto.
48-3:18 For
if the inheritance be of the law, it is no
more of promise: but God gave it to
Abraham by promise.
48-3:25 But
after that faith is come, we are no longer under
a schoolmaster.
48-4:7 Wherefore
thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a
son, then an heir of God through Christ.
48-4:8 Howbeit
then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
48-5:4 Christ
is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of
you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
48-5:23 Meekness,
temperance: against such there is no law.
48-6:17 From
henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in
my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
49-2:12 That
at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel,
and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no
hope, and without God in the world:
49-2:19 Now
therefore ye are no more strangers and
foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
49-4:14 That
we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about
with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
49-4:28 Let
him that stole steal no more: but rather let him
labour, working with his hands the
thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
49-4:29 Let
no corrupt communication proceed out of your
mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister
grace unto the hearers.
49-5:5 For
this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean
person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the
kingdom of Christ and of God.
49-5:6 Let
no man deceive you with vain words: for because
of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
49-5:11 And
have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of
darkness, but rather reprove them.
49-5:29 For
no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but
nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
50-2:7 But
made himself of no reputation, and took upon him
the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
50-2:20 For
I have no man likeminded, who will naturally
care for your state.
50-3:3 For
we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ
Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
50-4:15 Now
ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed
from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as
concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
51-2:16 Let
no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink,
or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
51-2:18 Let
no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary
humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath
not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
51-3:25 But
he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there
is no respect of persons.
52-3:1 Wherefore
when we could no longer forbear, we thought it
good to be left at Athens alone;
52-3:3 That
no man should be moved by these afflictions: for
yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
52-3:5 For
this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I
sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and
our labour be in vain.
52-4:6 That
no man go
beyond and defraud his brother in any matter:
because that the Lord is the avenger
of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
52-4:13 But
I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are
asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no
hope.
52-5:1 But
of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no
need that I write unto you.
53-2:3 Let
no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there
come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of
perdition;
53-3:14 And
if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
54-1:3 As
I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that
thou mightest charge some that they teach no
other doctrine,
54-3:3 Not
given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy
lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
54-4:12 Let
no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example
of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in
purity.
54-5:22 Lay
hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of
other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.
54-5:23 Drink
no longer water, but use a little wine for thy
stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.
54-6:16 Who
only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no
man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen,
nor can see: to whom be honour and
power everlasting. Amen.
55-2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the
affairs of this life; that he may
please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
55-2:14 Of
these things put them in remembrance,
charging them before the Lord that
they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
55-3:9 But
they shall proceed no further: for their folly
shall be manifest unto all men, as
theirs also was.
55-4:16 At
my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
56-1:7 For
a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon
angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given
to filthy lucre;
56-2:8 Sound
speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be
ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
56-2:15 These
things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
56-3:2 To
speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but
gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
58-5:4 And
no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that
is called of God, as was Aaron.
58-6:13 For
when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
58-7:13 For
he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
58-8:7 For
if that first covenant had been
faultless, then should no place have been sought
for the second.
58-8:12 For
I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their
iniquities will I remember no more.
58-9:17 For
a testament is of force after men are
dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all
while the testator liveth.
58-9:22 And
almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of
blood is no remission.
58-10:2 For
then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers
once purged should have had no more conscience
of sins.
58-10:6 In
burnt offerings and sacrifices for
sin thou hast had no pleasure.
58-10:17 And
their sins and iniquities will I remember no
more.
58-10:18 Now
where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
58-10:26 For
if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth,
there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
58-10:38 Now
the just shall live by faith: but if any
man draw back, my soul shall have no
pleasure in him.
58-12:11 Now
no chastening for the present seemeth to be
joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of
righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
58-12:14 Follow
peace with all men, and holiness,
without which no man shall see the Lord:
58-12:17 For
ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was
rejected: for he found no place of repentance,
though he sought it carefully with tears.
58-13:10 We
have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat
which serve the tabernacle.
58-13:14 For
here have we no continuing city, but we seek one
to come.
59-1:11 For
the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat,
but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of
the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
59-1:13 Let
no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of
God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
59-1:17 Every
good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father
of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither
shadow of turning.
59-2:11 For
he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou
commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art
become a transgressor of the law.
59-2:13 For
he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no
mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
59-3:8 But
the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
59-3:12 Can
the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no
fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
60-2:22 Who
did no sin, neither was guile found in his
mouth:
60-3:10 For
he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from
evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
60-4:2 That
he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of
men, but to the will of God.
61-1:20 Knowing
this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is
of any private interpretation.
62-1:5 This
then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God
is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
62-1:8 If
we say that we have no sin, we deceive
ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
62-2:7 Brethren,
I write no new commandment unto you, but an old
commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word
which ye have heard from the beginning.
62-2:19 They
went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they
would no
doubt have continued with us: but they
went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
62-2:21 I
have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know
it, and that no lie is of the truth.
62-2:27 But
the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not
that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things,
and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath
taught you, ye shall abide in him.
62-3:5 And
ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
62-3:7 Little
children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth
righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
62-3:15 Whosoever
hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no
murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
62-4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one
another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
62-4:18 There
is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out
fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
64-1:4 I
have no greater joy than to hear that my
children walk in truth.
66-2:17 He
that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him
that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a
white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
66-3:7 And
to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is
holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
66-3:8 I
know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength,
and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
66-3:11 Behold,
I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no
man take thy crown.
66-3:12 Him
that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God,
and the name of the city of my God, which
is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
66-5:3 And
no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under
the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
66-5:4 And
I wept much, because no man was found worthy to
open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
66-7:9 After
this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no
man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood
before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in
their hands;
66-7:16 They
shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more;
neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
66-10:6 And
sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things
that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea,
and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
66-13:17 And
that no man might buy or sell, save he that had
the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
66-14:3 And
they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts,
and the elders: and no man could learn that song
but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed
from the earth.
66-14:5 And
in their mouth was found no guile: for they are
without fault before the throne of God.
66-14:11 And
the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his
image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
66-15:8 And
the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and
no man was able to enter into the temple, till
the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
66-17:12 And
the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour
with the beast.
66-18:7 How
much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and
sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no
sorrow.
66-18:11 And
the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
66-18:14 And
the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things
which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
66-18:21 And
a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with
violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
66-18:22 And
the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be
heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a
millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
66-18:23 And
the light of a candle shall shine no more at all
in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the
great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
66-19:12 His
eyes were as a flame of fire, and on
his head were many crowns; and he had
a name written, that no man knew, but he
himself.
66-20:3 And
cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him,
that he should deceive the nations no more, till
the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a
little season.
66-20:6 Blessed
and holy is he that hath part in the
first resurrection: on such the second death hath no
power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him
a thousand years.
66-20:11 And
I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth
and the heaven fled away; and there was found no
place for them.
66-21:1 And
I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth
were passed away; and there was no more sea.
66-21:4 And
God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither
shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
66-21:22 And
I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God
Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
66-21:23 And
the city had no need of the sun, neither of the
moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
66-21:25 And
the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
66-21:27 And
there shall in no wise enter into it any thing
that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh
abomination, or maketh a lie: but
they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
66-22:3 And
there shall be no more curse: but the throne of
God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
66-22:5 And
there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God
giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
