N,63 nations
01-10:5 By
these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after
his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
01-10:20 These
are the sons of Ham, after their
families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.
01-10:31 These
are the sons of Shem, after their
families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
01-10:32 These
are the families of the sons of Noah,
after their generations, in their nations: and
by these were the nations divided in the earth
after the flood.
01-14:1 And
it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar,
Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations;
01-14:9 With
Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations,
and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five.
01-17:4 As
for me, behold, my covenant is with
thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
01-17:5 Neither
shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a
father of many nations have I made thee.
01-17:6 And
I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations
of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
01-17:16 And
I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and
she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
01-18:18 Seeing
that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation,
and all the nations of the earth shall be
blessed in him?
01-22:18 And
in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth
be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
01-25:16 These
are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by
their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.
01-25:23 And
the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of
people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
01-26:4 And
I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy
seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
01-27:29 Let
people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee:
be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and
blessed be he that blesseth thee.
01-35:11 And
God said unto him, I am God Almighty:
be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a
company of nations shall be of thee, and kings
shall come out of thy loins;
01-48:19 And
his father refused, and said, I know it, my
son, I know it: he also shall become
a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be
greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
02-34:24 For
I will cast out the nations before thee, and
enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go
up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.
03-18:24 Defile
not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
03-18:28 That
the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were
before you.
04-14:15 Now
if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak,
saying,
04-23:9 For
from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the
people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
04-24:8 God
brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he
shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall
break their bones, and pierce them through
with his arrows.
04-24:20 And
when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.
05-2:25 This
day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are
under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble,
and be in anguish because of thee.
05-4:6 Keep
therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in
the sight of the nations, which shall hear all
these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation
is a wise and understanding people.
05-4:19 And
lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the
moon, and the stars, even all the
host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the
LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under
the whole heaven.
05-4:27 And
the LORD shall scatter you among the nations,
and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall
lead you.
05-4:38 To
drive out nations from before thee greater and
mightier than thou art, to bring thee
in, to give thee their land for an
inheritance, as it is this day.
05-7:1 When
the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess
it, and hath cast out many nations before thee,
the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the
Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations
greater and mightier than thou;
05-7:17 If
thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess
them?
05-7:22 And
the LORD thy God will put out those nations before
thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the
beasts of the field increase upon thee.
05-8:20 As
the nations which the LORD destroyeth before
your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice
of the LORD your God.
05-9:1 Hear,
O Israel: Thou art to pass over
Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations
greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven,
05-9:4 Speak
not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from
before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to
possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations
the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
05-9:5 Not
for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to
possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations
the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform
the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
05-11:23 Then
will the LORD drive out all these nations from
before you, and ye shall possess greater nations
and mightier than yourselves.
05-12:2 Ye
shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations
which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the
hills, and under every green tree:
05-12:29 When
the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from
before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and
dwellest in their land;
05-12:30 Take
heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be
destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying,
How did these nations serve their gods? even so
will I do likewise.
05-14:2 For
thou art an holy people unto the LORD
thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself,
above all the nations that are upon the earth.
05-15:6 For
the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto
many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and
thou shalt reign over many nations, but they
shall not reign over thee.
05-17:14 When
thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt
possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me,
like as all the nations that are about me;
05-18:9 When
thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not
learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
05-18:14 For
these nations, which thou shalt possess,
hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD
thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
05-19:1 When
the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose
land the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in
their cities, and in their houses;
05-20:15 Thus
shalt thou do unto all the cities which
are very far off from thee, which are
not of the cities of these nations.
05-26:19 And
to make thee high above all nations which he
hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an
holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.
05-28:1 And
it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the
LORD thy God, to observe and to do
all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will
set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
05-28:12 The
LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto
thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt
lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not
borrow.
05-28:37 And
thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.
05-28:65 And
among these nations shalt thou find no ease,
neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee
there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:
05-29:16 (For
ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;
05-29:18 Lest
there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart
turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations;
lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
05-29:24 Even
all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD
done thus unto this land? what meaneth the
heat of this great anger?
05-30:1 And
it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing
and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
05-30:3 That
then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee,
and will return and gather thee from all the nations,
whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
05-31:3 The
LORD thy God, he will go over before thee, and
he will destroy these nations from before
thee, and thou shalt possess them: and Joshua,
he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath said.
05-32:8 When
the Most High divided to the nations their
inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the
people according to the number of the children of Israel.
05-32:43 Rejoice,
O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and
will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.
06-12:23 The
king of Dor in the coast of Dor, one; the king of the nations
of Gilgal, one;
06-23:3 And
ye have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto all these nations because of you; for the LORD your God is he that hath fought for you.
06-23:4 Behold,
I have divided unto you by lot these nations
that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even unto the great sea
westward.
06-23:7 That
ye come not among these nations, these that
remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to
swear by them, neither serve them,
nor bow yourselves unto them:
06-23:9 For
the LORD hath driven out from before you great nations
and strong: but as for you, no man
hath been able to stand before you unto this day.
06-23:12 Else
if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these
that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them,
and they to you:
06-23:13 Know
for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations
from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in
your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land
which the LORD your God hath given you.
07-2:21 I
also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died:
07-2:23 Therefore
the LORD left those nations, without driving
them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua.
07-3:1 Now
these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;
09-8:5 And
said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now
make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
09-8:20 That
we also may be like all the nations; and that
our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.
09-27:8 And
David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and
the Amalekites: for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land,
as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.
10-7:23 And
what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself,
and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy
land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations
and their gods?
10-8:11 Which
also king David did dedicate unto the LORD, with the silver and gold that he
had dedicated of all nations which he subdued;
11-4:31 For
he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and
Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations
round about.
11-11:2 Of
the nations concerning
which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to
them, neither shall they come in unto you: for
surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto
these in love.
11-14:24 And
there were also sodomites in the land: and
they did according to all the abominations of the nations
which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
12-17:26 Wherefore
they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations
which thou hast removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the
manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them, and,
behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God of the
land.
12-17:33 They
feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence.
12-17:41 So
these nations feared the LORD, and served their
graven images, both their children, and their children’s children: as did their
fathers, so do they unto this day.
12-18:33 Hath
any of the gods of the nations delivered at all
his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
12-19:12 Have
the gods of the nations delivered them which my
fathers have destroyed; as Gozan, and
Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Thelasar?
12-19:17 Of
a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations
and their lands,
12-21:9 But
they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of
Israel.
13-14:17 And
the fame of David went out into all lands; and the LORD brought the fear of him
upon all nations.
13-16:24 Declare
his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
13-16:31 Let
the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD
reigneth.
13-17:21 And
what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went
to redeem to be his own people, to
make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast
redeemed out of Egypt?
13-18:11 Them
also king David dedicated unto the LORD, with the silver and the gold that he
brought from all these nations; from Edom, and from Moab, and from the
children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.
14-7:20 Then
will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and
this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight,
and will make it to be a proverb and
a byword among all nations.
14-13:9 Have
ye not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites,
and have made you priests after the manner of the nations
of other lands? so that whosoever
cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them that are no gods.
14-32:13 Know
ye not what I and my fathers have done unto all the people of other lands? were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able to deliver their
lands out of mine hand?
14-32:14 Who
was there among all the gods of those
nations that my fathers utterly destroyed, that
could deliver his people out of mine hand, that your God should be able to
deliver you out of mine hand?
14-32:17 He
wrote also letters to rail on the LORD God of Israel, and to speak against him,
saying, As the gods of the nations of other lands have not delivered their
people out of mine hand, so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people
out of mine hand.
14-32:23 And
many brought gifts unto the LORD to Jerusalem, and presents to Hezekiah king of
Judah: so that he was magnified in the sight of all nations
from thenceforth.
15-4:10 And
the rest of the nations whom the great and noble
Asnapper brought over, and set in the cities of Samaria, and the rest that are on this side the river, and at
such a time.
16-1:8 Remember,
I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you
abroad among the nations:
16-9:22 Moreover
thou gavest them kingdoms and nations, and didst
divide them into corners: so they possessed the land of Sihon, and the land of
the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.
16-13:26 Did
not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of
his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did
outlandish women cause to sin.
18-12:23 He
increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he
enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.
19-9:17 The
wicked shall be turned into hell, and all
the nations that forget God.
19-9:20 Put
them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
19-22:27 All
the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the
kindreds of the nations shall worship before
thee.
19-22:28 For
the kingdom is the LORD’S: and he is the governor among the nations.
19-47:3 He
shall subdue the people under us, and the nations
under our feet.
19-57:9 I
will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations.
19-66:7 He
ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations:
let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.
19-67:2 That
thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
19-67:4 O
let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for
thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
19-72:11 Yea,
all kings shall fall down before him: all nations
shall serve him.
19-72:17 His
name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and
men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
19-82:8 Arise,
O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
19-86:9 All
nations whom thou hast made shall come and
worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
19-96:5 For
all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
19-106:27 To
overthrow their seed also among the nations, and
to scatter them in the lands.
19-106:34 They
did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the
LORD commanded them:
19-108:3 I
will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee
among the nations.
19-113:4 The
LORD is high above all nations, and his
glory above the heavens.
19-117:1 O
Praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all
ye people.
19-118:10 All
nations compassed me about: but in the name of
the LORD will I destroy them.
19-135:10 Who
smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
20-24:24 He
that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous;
him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor
him:
23-2:2 And
it shall come to pass in the last days, that
the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the
mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
23-2:4 And
he shall judge among the nations, and shall
rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their
spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not
lift up sword against nation, neither shall
they learn war any more.
23-5:26 And
he will lift up an ensign to the nations from
far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall
come with speed swiftly:
23-9:1 Nevertheless
the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the
land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously
afflict her by the way of the sea,
beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.
23-10:7 Howbeit
he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations
not a few.
23-11:12 And
he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall
assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah
from the four corners of the earth.
23-13:4 The
noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous
noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together:
the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.
23-14:6 He
who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
23-14:9 Hell
from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee
at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their
thrones all the kings of the nations.
23-14:12 How
art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground,
which didst weaken the nations!
23-14:18 All
the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
23-14:26 This
is the purpose that is purposed upon
the whole earth: and this is the hand
that is stretched out upon all the nations.
23-17:12 Woe
to the multitude of many people, which make
a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make
a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!
23-17:13 The
nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters:
but God shall rebuke them, and they
shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before
the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.
23-23:3 And
by great waters the seed of Sihor, the harvest of the river, is her revenue; and she is a mart of nations.
23-25:3 Therefore
shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
23-25:7 And
he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people,
and the vail that is spread over all nations.
23-29:7 And
the multitude of all the nations that fight
against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that
distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.
23-29:8 It
shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth,
and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a
thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite:
so shall the multitude of all the nations be,
that fight against mount Zion.
23-30:28 And
his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to
sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of
the people, causing them to err.
23-33:3 At
the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
23-34:1 Come
near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye
people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things
that come forth of it.
23-34:2 For
the indignation of the LORD is upon
all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he
hath delivered them to the slaughter.
23-36:18 Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you,
saying, The LORD will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king
of Assyria?
23-37:12 Have
the gods of the nations delivered them which my
fathers have destroyed, as Gozan, and
Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar?
23-37:18 Of
a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries.
23-40:15 Behold,
the nations are
as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance:
behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.
23-40:17 All
nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and
vanity.
23-41:2 Who
raised up the righteous man from the
east, called him to his foot, gave the nations
before him, and made him rule over
kings? he gave them as the dust to
his sword, and as driven stubble to
his bow.
23-43:9 Let
all the nations be gathered together, and let
the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former
things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or
let them hear, and say, It is truth.
23-45:1 Thus
saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to
subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins
of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be
shut;
23-45:20 Assemble
yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that
are escaped of the nations: they have no
knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
23-52:10 The
LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of
our God.
23-52:15 So
shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut
their mouths at him: for that which
had not been told them shall they see; and that
which they had not heard shall they consider.
23-55:5 Behold,
thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew
not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One
of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
23-60:12 For
the nation and kingdom that will not serve
thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
23-61:11 For
as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that
are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and
praise to spring forth before all the nations.
23-64:2 As
when the melting fire burneth, the
fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations
may tremble at thy presence!
23-66:18 For
I know their works and their
thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations
and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
23-66:19 And
I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto
the nations, to
Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the
isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and
they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
23-66:20 And
they shall bring all your brethren for an
offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon
horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts,
to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring
an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
24-1:5 Before
I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the
womb I sanctified thee, and I
ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
24-1:10 See,
I have this day set thee over the nations and
over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw
down, to build, and to plant.
24-3:17 At
that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the
LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of
their evil heart.
24-3:19 But
I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land,
a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I
said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.
24-4:2 And
thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness;
and the nations shall bless themselves in him,
and in him shall they glory.
24-4:16 Make
ye mention to the nations; behold, publish
against Jerusalem, that watchers come
from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.
24-6:18 Therefore
hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what
is among them.
24-9:26 Egypt,
and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that are in the utmost corners, that
dwell in the wilderness: for all these nations are uncircumcised,
and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised
in the heart.
24-10:7 Who
would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to
thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their
kingdoms, there is none like unto
thee.
24-10:10 But
the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting
king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations
shall not be able to abide his indignation.
24-22:8 And
many nations shall pass by this city, and they
shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto
this great city?
24-25:9 Behold,
I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and
Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against
this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them,
and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.
24-25:11 And
this whole land shall be a desolation, and
an astonishment; and these nations shall
serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
24-25:13 And
I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book,
which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations.
24-25:14 For
many nations and great kings shall serve
themselves of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds,
and according to the works of their own hands.
24-25:15 For
thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my
hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send
thee, to drink it.
24-25:17 Then
took I the cup at the LORD’S hand, and made all the nations
to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:
24-25:31 A
noise shall come even to the ends of
the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations,
he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.
24-26:6 Then
will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
24-27:7 And
all nations shall serve him, and his son, and
his son’s son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.
24-27:11 But
the nations that bring their neck under the yoke
of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their
own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
24-28:11 And
Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD;
Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck
of all nations within the space of two full
years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
24-28:14 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon
the neck of all these nations, that they may
serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have
given him the beasts of the field also.
24-29:14 And
I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity,
and I will gather you from all the nations, and
from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring
you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
24-29:18 And
I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence,
and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a
curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them:
24-30:11 For
I am with thee, saith the LORD, to
save thee: though I make a full end of all nations
whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I
will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
24-31:7 For
thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of
the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O
LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.
24-31:10 Hear
the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He
that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
24-33:9 And
it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good
that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and
for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
24-36:2 Take
thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto
thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days
of Josiah, even unto this day.
24-43:5 But
Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the
remnant of Judah, that were returned from all nations,
whither they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah;
24-44:8 In
that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense
unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye
might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all
the nations of the earth?
24-46:12 The
nations have heard of thy shame, and thy cry
hath filled the land: for the mighty man hath stumbled against the mighty, and they are fallen both together.
24-46:28 Fear
thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not
make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee
wholly unpunished.
24-50:2 Declare
ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a
standard; publish, and conceal not:
say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her
idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.
24-50:9 For,
lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set
themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none
shall return in vain.
24-50:12 Your
mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold,
the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a
desert.
24-50:23 How
is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become
a desolation among the nations!
24-50:46 At
the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard
among the nations.
24-51:7 Babylon
hath been a golden cup in the LORD’S
hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations
have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations
are mad.
24-51:20 Thou
art my battle ax and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;
24-51:27 Set
ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations
against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and
Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the
rough caterpillars.
24-51:28 Prepare
against her the nations with the kings of the
Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of
his dominion.
24-51:41 How
is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the whole earth surprised! how is
Babylon become an astonishment among the nations!
24-51:44 And
I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that
which he hath swallowed up: and the nations
shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.
25-1:1 How
doth the city sit solitary, that was full
of people! how is she become as a
widow! she that was great among the nations, and princess
among the provinces, how is she
become tributary!
26-5:5 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem:
I have set it in the midst of the nations and
countries that are round about her.
26-5:6 And
she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have
refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.
26-5:7 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are
round about you, and have not walked
in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to
the judgments of the nations that are round about you;
26-5:8 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am
against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight
of the nations.
26-5:14 Moreover
I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations
that are round about thee, in the
sight of all that pass by.
26-5:15 So
it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the
nations that are
round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in
fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.
26-6:8 Yet
will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some
that shall escape the sword among the nations,
when ye shall be scattered through the countries.
26-6:9 And
they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations
whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish
heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring
after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they
have committed in all their abominations.
26-12:15 And
they shall know that I am the LORD,
when I shall scatter them among the nations, and
disperse them in the countries.
26-19:4 The
nations also heard of him; he was taken in their
pit, and they brought him with chains unto the land of Egypt.
26-19:8 Then
the nations set against him on every side from
the provinces, and spread their net over him: he was taken in their pit.
26-25:10 Unto
the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that
the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.
26-26:3 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to
come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.
26-26:5 It
shall be a place for the spreading of
nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall become a spoil to the nations.
26-28:7 Behold,
therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the
beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
26-29:12 And
I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among
the cities that are laid waste shall
be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
26-29:15 It
shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more
above the nations: for I will diminish them,
that they shall no more rule over the nations.
26-30:11 He
and his people with him, the terrible of the nations,
shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against
Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.
26-30:23 And
I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations,
and will disperse them through the countries.
26-30:26 And
I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations,
and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-31:6 All
the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did
all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt
all great nations.
26-31:12 And
strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut
him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his
branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and
all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.
26-31:16 I
made the nations to shake at the sound of his
fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all
the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall
be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.
26-32:2 Son
of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou
art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou
camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and
fouledst their rivers.
26-32:9 I
will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction
among the nations, into the countries which thou
hast not known.
26-32:12 By
the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of
the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil
the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.
26-32:16 This
is the lamentation wherewith they
shall lament her: the daughters of the nations
shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:18 Son
of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the
famous nations, unto the nether parts of the
earth, with them that go down into the pit.
26-35:10 Because
thou hast said, These two nations and these two
countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:
26-36:13 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations;
26-36:14 Therefore
thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations
any more, saith the Lord GOD.
26-36:15 Neither
will I cause men to hear in thee the
shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the
people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations
to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD.
26-37:22 And
I will make them one nation in the land upon
the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall
be no more two nations, neither shall they be
divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
26-38:8 After
many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the
land that is brought back from the
sword, and is gathered out of many
people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it
is brought forth out of the nations, and they
shall dwell safely all of them.
26-38:12 To
take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the
people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that
dwell in the midst of the land.
26-38:23 Thus
will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of
many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-39:27 When
I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their
enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
27-3:4 Then
an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,
27-3:7 Therefore
at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp,
sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that
Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
27-4:1 Nebuchadnezzar
the king, unto all people, nations, and languages,
that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.
27-5:19 And
for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations,
and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he
would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put
down.
27-6:25 Then
king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and
languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.
27-7:14 And
there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion
is an everlasting dominion, which
shall not pass away, and his kingdom that
which shall not be destroyed.
28-8:10 Yea,
though they have hired among the nations, now
will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king
of princes.
28-9:17 My
God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall
be wanderers among the nations.
29-3:2 I
will also gather all nations, and will bring
them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my
people and for my heritage Israel,
whom they have scattered among the nations, and
parted my land.
30-6:1 Woe
to them that are at ease in Zion, and
trust in the mountain of Samaria, which
are named chief of the nations, to whom the
house of Israel came!
30-9:9 For,
lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn
is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.
33-4:2 And
many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let
us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and
he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall
go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
33-4:3 And
he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations
afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears
into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up
a sword against nation, neither shall they
learn war any more.
33-4:11 Now
also many nations are gathered against thee,
that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.
33-7:16 The
nations shall see and be confounded at all their
might: they shall lay their hand upon
their mouth, their ears shall be
deaf.
34-3:4 Because
of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of
witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her
whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.
34-3:5 Behold,
I am against thee, saith the LORD of
hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.
35-1:17 Shall
they therefore empty their net, and not spare continually to slay the nations?
35-2:5 Yea
also, because he transgresseth by wine, he
is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell,
and is as death, and cannot be
satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations,
and heapeth unto him all people:
35-2:8 Because
thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant
of the people shall spoil thee; because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city,
and of all that dwell therein.
35-3:6 He
stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered,
the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are
everlasting.
36-2:14 And
flocks shall lie down in the midst of her, all the beasts of the nations: both the cormorant and the bittern shall
lodge in the upper lintels of it; their voice
shall sing in the windows; desolation shall
be in the thresholds: for he shall uncover the cedar work.
36-3:6 I
have cut off the nations: their towers are
desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are
destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.
36-3:8 Therefore
wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for
my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour
upon them mine indignation, even all
my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my
jealousy.
37-2:7 And
I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with
glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
38-2:8 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you
toucheth the apple of his eye.
38-2:11 And
many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that
day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou
shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
38-7:14 But
I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations
whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed
through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.
38-8:22 Yea,
many people and strong nations shall come to
seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.
38-8:23 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it
shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of
the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt
of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
38-12:9 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that I
will seek to destroy all the nations that come
against Jerusalem.
38-14:2 For
I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to
battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women
ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue
of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
38-14:3 Then
shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations,
as when he fought in the day of battle.
38-14:16 And
it shall come to pass, that every one
that is left of all the nations which came
against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the
LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
38-14:19 This
shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of
tabernacles.
39-3:12 And
all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall
be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
40-24:9 Then
shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be
hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
40-24:14 And
this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness
unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
40-25:32 And
before him shall be gathered all nations: and he
shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
40-28:19 Go
ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
41-11:17 And
he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all
nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it
a den of thieves.
41-13:10 And
the gospel must first be published among all nations.
42-12:30 For
all these things do the nations of the world
seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
42-21:24 And
they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into
all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down
