01-2:24 Therefore
shall a man leave his father and his mother, and
shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a
graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.

And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the
kingdom also; for he is mine elder
brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of
Zeruiah.

the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it:
she is the mother
thereof.

brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
40-12:48 But
he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother?
and who are my brethren?
40-12:49 And
he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
40-12:50 For
whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my
brother, and sister, and mother.
