01-1:26 And
God said, Let us make man in our image, after
our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the
fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
01-2:18 And
the LORD God said, It is not good
that the man should be alone; I will make him an
help meet for him.
01-3:6 And
when the woman saw that the tree was good
for food, and that it was pleasant to
the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof,
and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
01-3:21 Unto
Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make
coats of skins, and clothed them.
01-6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without
with pitch.
01-6:15 And
this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The
length of the ark shall be three
hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty
cubits.
01-6:16 A
window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a
cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the
side thereof; with lower, second, and
third stories shalt thou make it.
01-9:12 And
God said, This is the token of the
covenant which I make between me and you and
every living creature that is with
you, for perpetual generations:
01-11:3 And
they said one to another, Go to, let us make
brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had
they for morter.
01-11:4 And
they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the
face of the whole earth.
01-12:2 And
I will make of thee a great nation, and I will
bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou
shalt be a blessing:
01-13:16 And
I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth:
so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
01-17:2 And
I will make my covenant between me and thee, and
will multiply thee exceedingly.
01-17:6 And
I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of
thee.
01-17:20 And
as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly;
twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make
him a great nation.
01-18:6 And
Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make
ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
01-19:32 Come,
let us make our father drink wine, and we will
lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
01-19:34 And
it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger,
Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make
him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
01-21:13 And
also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a
nation, because he is thy seed.
01-21:18 Arise,
lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.
01-24:3 And
I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of
heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son
of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:
01-26:4 And
I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of
heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall
all the nations of the earth be blessed;
01-26:28 And
they said, We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee: and we said, Let there
be now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt
us and thee, and let us make a covenant with
thee;
01-27:4 And
make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul
may bless thee before I die.
01-27:7 Bring
me venison, and make me savoury meat, that I may
eat, and bless thee before the LORD before my death.
01-27:9 Go
now to the flock, and fetch me from thence two good kids of the goats; and I
will make them savoury meat for thy father, such
as he loveth:
01-28:3 And
God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful,
and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;
01-31:44 Now
therefore come thou, let us make a covenant, I
and thou; and let it be for a witness between me and thee.
01-32:12 And
thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make
thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.
01-34:9 And
make ye marriages with us, and give your daughters unto us, and take our daughters unto you.
01-34:30 And
Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make
me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the
Perizzites: and I being few in
number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I
shall be destroyed, I and my house.
01-35:1 And
God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee
when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.
01-35:3 And
let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make
there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was
with me in the way which I went.
01-40:14 But
think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee,
unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh,
and bring me out of this house:
01-43:16 And
when Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the ruler of his house, Bring these men home, and slay, and make ready; for these
men shall dine with me at noon.
01-46:3 And
he said, I am God, the God of thy
father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
01-47:6 The
land of Egypt is before thee; in the
best of the land make thy father and brethren to
dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.
01-48:4 And
said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful,
and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a
multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.
01-48:20 And
he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set
Ephraim before Manasseh.
02-5:5 And
Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from
their burdens.
02-5:7 Ye
shall no more give the people straw to make
brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.
02-5:8 And
the tale of the bricks, which they did make
heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle;
therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and
sacrifice to our God.
02-5:16 There
is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine own people.
02-12:4 And
if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next
unto his house take it according to
the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
02-18:16 When
they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and
I do make them
know the statutes of God, and his laws.
02-20:4 Thou
shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or
any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
02-20:23 Ye
shall not make with me gods of silver, neither
shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
02-20:24 An
altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and
shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy
sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto
thee, and I will bless thee.
02-20:25 And
if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou
shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast
polluted it.
02-21:34 The
owner of the pit shall make it good, and give money
unto the owner of them; and the dead beast
shall be his.
02-22:3 If
the sun be risen upon him, there shall be
blood shed for him; for he should make
full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
02-22:5 If
a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast,
and shall feed in another man’s field; of the best of his own field, and of the
best of his own vineyard, shall he make
restitution.
02-22:6 If
fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the stacks of corn, or the
standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith;
he that kindled the fire shall surely make
restitution.
02-22:11 Then shall an oath of the LORD be
between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods;
and the owner of it shall accept thereof,
and he shall not make it good.
02-22:12 And
if it be stolen from him, he shall make
restitution unto the owner thereof.
02-22:13 If
it be torn in pieces, then let him
bring it for witness, and he shall not make good that which was torn.
02-22:14 And
if a man borrow ought of his
neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make
it good.
02-22:15 But if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good:
if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.
02-23:13 And
in all things that I have said unto
you be circumspect: and make no mention of the
name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
02-23:27 I
will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou
shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies
turn their backs unto thee.
02-23:32 Thou
shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their
gods.
02-23:33 They
shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee
sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto
thee.
02-25:8 And
let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell
among them.
02-25:9 According
to all that I shew thee, after the
pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even
so shall ye make it.
02-25:10 And
they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth
thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
02-25:11 And
thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it,
and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round
about.
02-25:13 And
thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
02-25:17 And
thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit
and a half the breadth thereof.
02-25:18 And
thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them,
in the two ends of the mercy seat.
02-25:19 And
make one cherub on the one end, and the other
cherub on the other end: even of the
mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the
two ends thereof.
02-25:23 Thou
shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall
be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a
half the height thereof.
02-25:24 And
thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make
thereto a crown of gold round about.
02-25:25 And
thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand
breadth round about, and thou shalt make a
golden crown to the border thereof round about.
02-25:26 And
thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and
put the rings in the four corners that are
on the four feet thereof.
02-25:28 And
thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be
borne with them.
02-25:29 And
thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons
thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.
02-25:31 And
thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his
branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
02-25:37 And
thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and
they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.
02-25:39 Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.
02-25:40 And
look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.
02-26:1 Moreover
thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt
thou make them.
02-26:4 And
thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of
the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.
02-26:5 Fifty
loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and
fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the
curtain that is in the coupling of
the second; that the loops may take hold one of another.
02-26:6 And
thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple
the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.
02-26:7 And
thou shalt make curtains of goats’ hair to be a
covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make.
02-26:10 And
thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the
one curtain that is outmost in the
coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.
02-26:11 And
thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put
the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.
02-26:14 And
thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering
above of badgers’ skins.
02-26:15 And
thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up.
02-26:17 Two
tenons shall there be in one board,
set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make
for all the boards of the tabernacle.
02-26:18 And
thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle,
twenty boards on the south side southward.
02-26:19 And
thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under
the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two
sockets under another board for his two tenons.
02-26:22 And
for the sides of the tabernacle westward thou shalt make
six boards.
02-26:23 And
two boards shalt thou make for the corners of
the tabernacle in the two sides.
02-26:26 And
thou shalt make bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the
tabernacle,
02-26:29 And
thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make
their rings of gold for places for the bars: and thou shalt
overlay the bars with gold.
02-26:31 And
thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning
work: with cherubims shall it be made:
02-26:36 And
thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the
tent, of blue, and purple, and
scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.
02-26:37 And
thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold:
and thou shalt cast five sockets of brass for them.
02-27:1 And
thou shalt make an altar of shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar
shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall
be three cubits.
02-27:2 And
thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four
corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with
brass.
02-27:3 And
thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes,
and his shovels, and his basons, and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the
vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass.
02-27:4 And
thou shalt make for it a grate of network of brass; and upon the net shalt thou make four brasen rings in the four corners thereof.
02-27:6 And
thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with
brass.
02-27:8 Hollow
with boards shalt thou make it: as it was shewed
thee in the mount, so shall they make it.
02-27:9 And
thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for
the south side southward there shall be hangings
for the court of fine twined linen of
an hundred cubits long for one side:
02-28:2 And
thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy
brother for glory and for beauty.
02-28:3 And
thou shalt speak unto all that are wise
hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may
minister unto me in the priest’s office.
02-28:4 And
these are the garments which they
shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a
robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his
sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
02-28:6 And
they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and of purple, of scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work.
02-28:11 With
the work of an engraver in stone, like the
engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones with the names of the
children of Israel: thou shalt make them to be
set in ouches of gold.
02-28:13 And
thou shalt make ouches of gold;
02-28:14 And
two chains of pure gold at the ends; of wreathen work shalt thou make them, and fasten the wreathen chains to the
ouches.
02-28:15 And
thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with
cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make
it; of gold, of blue, and of purple,
and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.
02-28:22 And
thou shalt make upon the breastplate chains at
the ends of wreathen work of pure gold.
02-28:23 And
thou shalt make upon the breastplate two rings
of gold, and shalt put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
02-28:26 And
thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou
shalt put them upon the two ends of the breastplate in the border thereof,
which is in the side of the ephod
inward.
02-28:27 And
two other rings of gold thou shalt make, and shalt put them on the two sides of the ephod
underneath, toward the forepart thereof, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
02-28:31 And
thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
02-28:33 And
beneath upon the hem of it thou shalt
make pomegranates of blue, and of purple,
and of scarlet, round about the hem
thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:
02-28:36 And
thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
02-28:39 And
thou shalt embroider the coat of fine linen, and thou shalt make the mitre of
fine linen, and thou shalt make the girdle of needlework.
02-28:40 And
for Aaron’s sons thou shalt make coats, and thou
shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt
thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.
02-28:42 And
thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover
their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:
02-29:2 And
unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened tempered with oil, and wafers unleavened
anointed with oil: of wheaten flour
shalt thou make them.
02-29:37 Seven
days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar,
and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever toucheth the
altar shall be holy.
02-30:1 And
thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon: of shittim wood shalt thou make it.
02-30:3 And
thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof
round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make
unto it a crown of gold round about.
02-30:4 And
two golden rings shalt thou make to it under the
crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make it; and
they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal.
02-30:5 And
thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
02-30:10 And
Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of
it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the
year shall he make atonement upon it throughout
your generations: it is most holy
unto the LORD.
02-30:15 The
rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel,
when they give an offering unto the
LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
02-30:16 And
thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt
appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may
be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
02-30:18 Thou
shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also
of brass, to wash withal: and
thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and
thou shalt put water therein.
02-30:25 And
thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an
ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy
anointing oil.
02-30:32 Upon
man’s flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make
any other like it, after the
composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.
02-30:35 And
thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after
the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy:
02-30:37 And
as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make
to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy
for the LORD.
02-30:38 Whosoever
shall make like unto that, to smell thereto,
shall even be cut off from his people.
02-31:6 And
I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of
Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that
they may make all that I have commanded thee;
02-32:1 And
when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the
people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought
us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
02-32:10 Now
therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may
consume them: and I will make of thee a great
nation.
02-32:23 For
they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go
before us: for as for this Moses, the
man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of
him.
02-32:30 And
it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned
a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.
02-33:19 And
he said, I will make all my goodness pass before
thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be
gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew
mercy.
02-34:10 And
he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all
thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor
in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
02-34:12 Take
heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with
the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the
midst of thee:
02-34:15 Lest
thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the
land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods,
and one call thee, and thou eat of
his sacrifice;
02-34:16 And
thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring
after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring
after their gods.
02-34:17 Thou
shalt make thee no molten gods.
02-35:10 And
every wise hearted among you shall come, and make
all that the LORD hath commanded;
02-35:33 And
in the cutting of stones, to set them, and
in carving of wood, to make any manner of
cunning work.
02-36:3 And
they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had
brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And
they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.
02-36:5 And
they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the
service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.
02-36:6 And
Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the
camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any
more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from
bringing.
02-36:7 For
the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make
it, and too much.
02-36:22 One
board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
03-1:4 And
he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be
accepted for him to make atonement for him.
03-4:20 And
he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so
shall he do with this: and the priest shall make
an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
03-4:26 And
he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace
offerings: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.
03-4:31 And
he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the
sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest
shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be
forgiven him.
03-4:35 And
he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away
from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon
the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the
priest shall make an atonement for his sin that
he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
03-5:6 And
he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath
sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin
offering; and the priest shall make an atonement
for him concerning his sin.
03-5:10 And
he shall offer the second for a burnt
offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it
shall be forgiven him.
03-5:13 And
the priest shall make an atonement for him as
touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven
him: and the remnant shall be the
priest’s, as a meat offering.
03-5:16 And
he shall make amends for the harm that he hath
done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto
the priest: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be
forgiven him.
03-5:18 And
he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for
a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance
wherein he erred and wist it not, and
it shall be forgiven him.
03-6:7 And
the priest shall make an atonement for him
before the LORD: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath
done in trespassing therein.
03-8:15 And
he slew it; and Moses took the blood,
and put it upon the horns of the
altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood
at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make
reconciliation upon it.
03-8:34 As
he hath done this day, so the LORD
hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for
you.
03-9:7 And
Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy
burnt offering, and make an atonement for
thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.
03-10:17 Wherefore
have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?
03-11:43 Ye
shall not make yourselves abominable with any
creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make
yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.
03-11:47 To
make a difference between the unclean and the
clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be
eaten.
03-12:7 Who
shall offer it before the LORD, and make an
atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male
or a female.
03-12:8 And
if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two
young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin
offering: and the priest shall make an atonement
for her, and she shall be clean.
03-14:18 And
the remnant of the oil that is in the
priest’s hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and
the priest shall make an atonement for him
before the LORD.
03-14:19 And
the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make
an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward
he shall kill the burnt offering:
03-14:20 And
the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar:
and the priest shall make an atonement for him,
and he shall be clean.
03-14:21 And
if he be poor, and cannot get so
much; then he shall take one lamb for a
trespass offering to be waved, to make an
atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat
offering, and a log of oil;
03-14:29 And
the rest of the oil that is in the
priest’s hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD.
03-14:31 Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat
offering: and the priest shall make an atonement
for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.
03-14:53 But
he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be
clean.
03-15:15 And
the priest shall offer them, the one for a
sin offering, and the other for a
burnt offering; and the priest shall make an
atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.
03-15:30 And
the priest shall offer the one for a
sin offering, and the other for a
burnt offering; and the priest shall make an
atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.
03-16:6 And
Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an
atonement for himself, and for his house.
03-16:10 But
the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive
before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into
the wilderness.
03-16:11 And
Aaron shall bring the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make an
atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin
offering which is for himself:
03-16:16 And
he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the
children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and
so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among
them in the midst of their uncleanness.
03-16:17 And
there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to
make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made
an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation
of Israel.
03-16:18 And
he shall go out unto the altar that is before
the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and
shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round
about.
03-16:24 And
he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments,
and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the
people, and make an atonement for himself, and
for the people.
03-16:27 And
the bullock for the sin offering, and
the goat for the sin offering, whose
blood was brought in to make atonement in the
holy place, shall one carry forth without the camp; and
they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.
03-16:30 For
on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins
before the LORD.
03-16:32 And
the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in
the priest’s office in his father’s stead, shall make
the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:
03-16:33 And
he shall make an atonement for the holy
sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for
the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the
people of the congregation.
03-16:34 And
this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make
an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he
did as the LORD commanded Moses.
03-17:11 For
the life of the flesh is in the
blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make
an atonement for your souls: for it is the
blood that maketh an atonement for
the soul.
03-19:4 Turn
ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten
gods: I am the LORD your God.
03-19:22 And
the priest shall make an atonement for him with
the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath
done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.
03-19:28 Ye
shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for
the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am
the LORD.
03-20:25 Ye
shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between
unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make
your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing
that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
03-21:5 They
shall not make baldness upon their head, neither
shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make
any cuttings in their flesh.
03-22:22 Blind,
or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not
offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering
by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD.
03-22:24 Ye
shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or
cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.
03-23:22 And
when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make
clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt
thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor,
and to the stranger: I am the LORD
your God.
03-23:28 And
ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an
atonement for you before the LORD your God.
03-24:18 And
he that killeth a beast shall make it good;
beast for beast.
03-25:9 Then
shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of
atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound
throughout all your land.
03-26:1 Ye
shall make you no idols nor graven image,
neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow
down unto it: for I am the LORD your
God.
03-26:6 And
I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid:
and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through
your land.
03-26:9 For
I will have respect unto you, and make you
fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
03-26:19 And
I will break the pride of your power; and I will make
your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
03-26:22 I
will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and
destroy your cattle, and make you few in number;
and your high ways shall be desolate.
03-26:31 And
I will make your cities waste, and bring your
sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet
odours.
03-27:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the LORD by thy estimation.
04-5:21 Then
the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall
say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse
and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make
thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;
04-5:22 And
this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly
to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And
the woman shall say, Amen, amen.
04-6:7 He
shall not make himself unclean for his father,
or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because
the consecration of his God is upon
his head.
04-6:11 And
the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt
offering, and make an atonement for him, for
that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day.
04-6:25 The
LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be
gracious unto thee:
04-8:7 And
thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon
them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make
themselves clean.
04-8:12 And
the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou
shalt offer the one for a sin
offering, and the other for a burnt
offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement
for the Levites.
04-8:19 And
I have given the Levites as a gift to
Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of
the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that
there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel
come nigh unto the sanctuary.
04-10:2 Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece
shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them
for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.
04-12:6 And
he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make
myself known unto him in a vision, and will
speak unto him in a dream.
04-14:4 And
they said one to another, Let us make a captain,
and let us return into Egypt.
04-14:12 I
will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.
04-14:30 Doubtless
ye shall not come into the land, concerning
which I sware to make you dwell therein,
save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
04-15:3 And
will make an offering by fire unto the LORD, a
burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering,
or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savour
unto the LORD, of the herd, or of the flock:
04-15:25 And
the priest shall make an atonement for all the
congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their
offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin offering before
the LORD, for their ignorance:
04-15:28 And
the priest shall make an atonement for the soul
that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven
him.
04-15:38 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make
them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and
that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:
04-16:13 Is it a small thing that thou hast
brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the
wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether
a prince over us?
04-16:30 But
if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open
her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye
shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.
04-16:38 The
censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD,
therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of
Israel.
04-16:46 And
Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar,
and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone
out from the LORD; the plague is begun.
04-17:5 And
it shall come to pass, that the man’s
rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make
to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur
against you.
04-21:8 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery
serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that
is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
04-23:19 God
is not a man, that he should lie;
neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not
do it? or hath he spoken, and shall
he not make it good?
04-28:22 And
one goat for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you.
04-28:30 And one kid of the goats, to make an atonement for you.
04-29:5 And
one kid of the goats for a sin
offering, to make an atonement for you:
04-30:8 But
if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which
she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her
soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
04-30:13 Every
vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it,
or her husband may make it void.
04-30:15 But
if he shall any ways make them void after that
he hath heard them; then he shall
bear her iniquity.
04-31:23 Every
thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be
clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all
that abideth not the fire ye shall make go
through the water.
04-31:50 We
have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of
jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.
05-1:11 (The
LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand
times so many more as ye are, and
bless you, as he hath promised you!)
05-1:13 Take
you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.
05-4:10 Specially the day that thou stoodest
before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the
people together, and I will make them hear my
words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon
the earth, and that they may teach
their children.
05-4:16 Lest
ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure,
the likeness of male or female,
05-4:23 Take
heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which
he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath
forbidden thee.
05-4:25 When
thou shalt beget children, and children’s children, and ye shall have remained
long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves,
and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of
the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:
05-5:8 Thou
shalt not make thee any graven image, or any
likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
05-7:2 And
when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
05-7:3 Neither
shalt thou make marriages with them; thy
daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take
unto thy son.
05-8:3 And
he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which
thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only,
but by every word that proceedeth out
of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
05-9:14 Let
me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven:
and I will make of thee a nation mightier and
greater than they.
05-10:1 At
that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the
first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make
thee an ark of wood.
05-13:14 Then
shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask
diligently; and, behold, if it be truth,
and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among
you;
05-14:1 Ye
are the children of the LORD your
God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any
baldness between your eyes for the dead.
05-15:1 At
the end of every seven years thou
shalt make a release.
05-16:18 Judges
and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy
gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they
shall judge the people with just judgment.
05-16:21 Thou
shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy
God, which thou shalt make thee.
05-19:18 And
the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and,
behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;
05-20:9 And
it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people,
that they shall make captains of the armies to
lead the people.
05-20:11 And
it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace,
and open unto thee, then it shall be, that
all the people that is found
therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee.
05-20:12 And
if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
05-21:14 And
it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither
she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled
her.
05-21:16 Then
it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he
may not make the son of the beloved firstborn
before the son of the hated, which is
indeed the firstborn:
05-22:8 When
thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make
a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any
man fall from thence.
05-22:12 Thou
shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters
of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.
05-26:19 And
to make thee high above all nations which he
hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an
holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.
05-28:11 And
the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in
the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy
ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
05-28:13 And
the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the
tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou
hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this
day, to observe and to do them:
05-28:21 The
LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee,
until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess
it.
05-28:24 The
LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and
dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
05-28:59 Then
the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and
the plagues of thy seed, even great
plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.
05-29:1 These
are the words of the covenant, which
the LORD commanded Moses to make with the
children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with
them in Horeb.
05-29:14 Neither
with you only do I make this covenant and this
oath;
05-30:9 And
the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every
work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle,
and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over
thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
05-32:26 I
said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make
the remembrance of them to cease from among men:
05-32:35 To
me belongeth vengeance, and
recompence; their foot shall slide in due
time: for the day of their calamity is
at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make
haste.
05-32:39 See
now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make
alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is
there any that can deliver out of my hand.
05-32:42 I
will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my
sword shall devour flesh; and that with
the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon
the enemy.
06-1:8 This
book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate
therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is
written therein: for then thou shalt make thy
way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
06-5:2 At
that time the LORD said unto Joshua, Make thee
sharp knives, and circumcise again the children of Israel the second time.
06-6:5 And
it shall come to pass, that when they make a
long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the
trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the
city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight
before him.
06-6:10 And
Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth,
until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.
06-6:18 And
ye, in any wise keep yourselves from
the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the
accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a
curse, and trouble it.
06-7:3 And
they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but
let about two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to
labour thither; for they are but few.
06-7:19 And
Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of
Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell
me now what thou hast done; hide it not
from me.
06-9:6 And
they went to Joshua unto the camp at Gilgal, and said unto him, and to the men
of Israel, We be come from a far country: now therefore make ye a league with us.
06-9:7 And
the men of Israel said unto the Hivites, Peradventure ye dwell among us; and
how shall we make a league with you?
06-9:11 Wherefore
our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spake to us, saying, Take
victuals with you for the journey, and go to meet them, and say unto them, We are your servants: therefore now make ye a league with us.
06-22:25 For
the LORD hath made Jordan a border between us and you, ye children of Reuben
and children of Gad; ye have no part in the LORD: so shall your children make our children cease from fearing the LORD.
06-23:7 That
ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to
swear by them, neither serve them,
nor bow yourselves unto them:
06-23:12 Else
if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and
shall make marriages with them, and go in unto
them, and they to you:
07-2:2 And
ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of
this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice:
why have ye done this?
07-9:48 And
Abimelech gat him up to mount Zalmon, he and all the people that were with him; and Abimelech took an ax
in his hand, and cut down a bough from the trees, and took it, and laid it on his shoulder, and said unto the
people that were with him, What ye
have seen me do, make haste, and do as I have done.
07-16:25 And
it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson,
that he may make us sport. And they called for
Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him
between the pillars.
07-17:3 And
when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels
of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver
unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a
graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.
07-20:38 Now
there was an appointed sign between the men of Israel and the liers in wait,
that they should make a great flame with smoke
rise up out of the city.
08-3:3 Wash
thy self therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get
thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall
have done eating and drinking.
08-4:11 And
all the people that were in the gate,
and the elders, said, We are witnesses.
The LORD make the woman that is come into thine
house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and
do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:
09-1:6 And
her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make
her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.
09-2:8 He
raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth
up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them
among princes, and to make them inherit the
throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.
09-2:24 Nay,
my sons; for it is no good report
that I hear: ye make the Lord’s people to
transgress.
09-2:29 Wherefore
kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons
above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest
of all the offerings of Israel my people?
09-3:12 In
that day I will perform against Eli all things
which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.
09-6:5 Wherefore
ye shall make images of your emerods, and images
of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel:
peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and
from off your land.
09-6:7 Now
therefore make a new cart, and take two milch
kine, on which there hath come no yoke, and tie the kine to the cart, and bring
their calves home from them:
09-8:5 And
said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
09-8:12 And
he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to
reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of
war, and instruments of his chariots.
09-8:22 And
the LORD said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make
them a king. And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his
city.
09-9:12 And
they answered them, and said, He is; behold, he is before you: make haste now,
for he came to day to the city; for there
is a sacrifice of the people to day in the high place:
09-11:1 Then
Nahash the Ammonite came up, and encamped against Jabeshgilead: and all the men
of Jabesh said unto Nahash, Make a covenant with
us, and we will serve thee.
09-11:2 And
Nahash the Ammonite answered them, On this condition
will I make a covenant with you, that I may thrust out all your right eyes, and
lay it for a reproach upon all
Israel.
09-12:22 For
the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake: because it hath
pleased the LORD to make you his people.
09-13:19 Now
there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines
said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears:
09-17:25 And
the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy
Israel is he come up: and it shall be, that
the man who killeth him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and
will give him his daughter, and make his
father’s house free in Israel.
09-18:25 And
Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an
hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king’s enemies. But
Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of
the Philistines.
09-20:38 And
Jonathan cried after the lad, Make speed, haste,
stay not. And Jonathan’s lad gathered up the arrows, and came to his master.
09-22:7 Then
Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will
the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and vineyards, and make
you all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;
09-25:28 I
pray thee, forgive the trespass of thine handmaid: for the LORD will certainly make my lord a sure house; because my lord fighteth
the battles of the LORD, and evil hath not been found in thee all thy days.
09-28:2 And
David said to Achish, Surely thou shalt know what thy servant can do. And
Achish said to David, Therefore will I make thee
keeper of mine head for ever.
09-28:15 And
Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered,
I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make
war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither
by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
09-29:4 And
the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the
Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow
return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and
let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to
us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with the heads of these men?
10-3:12 And
Abner sent messengers to David on his behalf, saying, Whose is the land? saying also, Make thy league with me, and,
behold, my hand shall be with thee,
to bring about all Israel unto thee.
10-3:13 And
he said, Well; I will make a league with thee:
but one thing I require of thee, that is, Thou shalt not see my face, except
thou first bring Michal Saul’s daughter, when thou comest to see my face.
10-3:21 And
Abner said unto David, I will arise and go, and will gather all Israel unto my
lord the king, that they may make a league with
thee, and that thou mayest reign over all that thine heart desireth. And David
sent Abner away; and he went in peace.
10-7:11 And
as since the time that I commanded judges to
be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine
enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make
thee an house.
10-7:21 For
thy word’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these
great things, to make thy servant know them.
10-7:23 And
what one nation in the earth is like
thy people, even like Israel, whom
God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make
him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before
thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?
10-11:25 Then
David said unto the messenger, Thus shalt thou say unto Joab, Let not this
thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city, and
overthrow it: and encourage thou him.
10-13:5 And
Jonadab said unto him, Lay thee down on thy bed, and make
thyself sick: and when thy father cometh to see thee, say unto him, I pray
thee, let my sister Tamar come, and give me meat, and dress the meat in my
sight, that I may see it, and eat it at her hand.
10-13:6 So
Amnon lay down, and made himself sick: and when the king was come to see him,
Amnon said unto the king, I pray thee, let Tamar my sister come, and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat
at her hand.
10-15:14 And
David said unto all his servants that were
with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not else escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly,
and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.
10-15:20 Whereas
thou camest but yesterday, should I
this day make thee go up and down with us?
seeing I go whither I may, return thou, and take back thy brethren: mercy and
truth be with thee.
10-17:2 And
I will come upon him while he is weary
and weak handed, and will make him afraid: and
all the people that are with him
shall flee; and I will smite the king only:
10-21:3 Wherefore
David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance
of the LORD?
10-23:5 Although
my house be not so with God; yet he
hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is
all my salvation, and all my desire,
although he make it not to grow.
11-1:37 As
the LORD hath been with my lord the king, even so be he with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord
king David.
11-1:47 And
moreover the king’s servants came to bless our lord king David, saying, God make the name of Solomon better than thy name, and make his throne greater than thy throne. And the king
bowed himself upon the bed.
11-2:42 And
the king sent and called for Shimei, and said unto him, Did I not make thee to swear by the LORD, and protested unto
thee, saying, Know for a certain, on the day thou goest out, and walkest abroad
any whither, that thou shalt surely die? and thou saidst unto me, The word that I have heard is good.
11-8:29 That
thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be
there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.
11-8:33 When
thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned
against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and
make supplication unto thee in this house:
11-8:47 Yet if they shall bethink themselves in
the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that
carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we
have committed wickedness;
11-9:22 But
of the children of Israel did Solomon make no
bondmen: but they were men of war,
and his servants, and his princes, and his captains, and rulers of his
chariots, and his horsemen.
11-11:34 Howbeit
I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand: but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my
servant’s sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutes:
11-12:1 And
Rehoboam went to Shechem: for all Israel were come to Shechem to make him king.
11-12:4 Thy
father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make
thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke which he put upon us,
lighter, and we will serve thee.
11-12:9 And
he said unto them, What counsel give ye that we may answer this people, who
have spoken to me, saying, Make the yoke which
thy father did put upon us lighter?
11-12:10 And
the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt
thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our
yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father’s
loins.
11-16:3 Behold,
I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and
will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam
the son of Nebat.
11-16:19 For
his sins which he sinned in doing evil in the sight of the LORD, in walking in the
way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he did, to make
Israel to sin.
11-16:21 Then
were the people of Israel divided into two parts: half of the people followed
Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and
half followed Omri.
11-17:13 And
Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do
as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little
cake first, and bring it unto me, and
after make for thee and for thy son.
11-19:2 Then
Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to
morrow about this time.
11-20:34 And
Benhadad said unto him, The cities,
which my father took from thy father, I will restore; and thou shalt make streets for thee in Damascus, as my father made
in Samaria. Then said Ahab, I will
send thee away with this covenant. So he made a covenant with him, and sent him
away.
11-21:22 And
will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam
the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation
wherewith thou hast provoked me to
anger, and made Israel to sin.
12-3:16 And
he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley
full of ditches.
12-4:10 Let
us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the
wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a
candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in
thither.
12-5:7 And
it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his
clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill
and to make alive, that this man doth send unto
me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how
he seeketh a quarrel against me.
12-6:2 Let
us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he
answered, Go ye.
12-7:2 Then
a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold,
if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he
said, Behold, thou shalt see it with
thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
12-7:19 And
that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in
heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with
thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
12-9:2 And
when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of
Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from
among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;
12-9:9 And
I will make the house of Ahab like the house of
Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:
12-9:21 And
Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made
ready. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his
chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth
the Jezreelite.
12-10:5 And
he that was over the house, and he
that was over the city, the elders
also, and the bringers up of the
children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are
thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any king: do thou that which is good in thine eyes.
12-18:30 Neither
let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying,
The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the
hand of the king of Assyria.
12-18:31 Hearken
not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make
an agreement with me by a present,
and come out to me, and then eat ye
every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every
one the waters of his cistern:
12-21:8 Neither
will I make the feet of Israel move any more out
of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do
according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that
my servant Moses commanded them.
12-23:10 And
he defiled Topheth, which is in the
valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make
his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.
13-6:49 But
Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the
altar of incense, and were appointed for
all the work of the place most holy,
and to make an atonement for Israel, according
to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
13-11:10 These
also are the chief of the mighty men
whom David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his kingdom, and with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD
concerning Israel.
13-12:31 And
of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, which were expressed by name,
to come and make David king.
13-12:38 All
these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to
make David king over all Israel: and all the
rest also of Israel were of one heart
to make David king.
13-16:8 Give
thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make
known his deeds among the people.
13-16:42 And
with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And
the sons of Jeduthun were porters.
13-17:21 And
what one nation in the earth is like
thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to
be his own people, to make thee a name of
greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom
thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?
13-17:22 For
thy people Israel didst thou make thine own
people for ever; and thou, LORD, becamest their God.
13-21:3 And
Joab answered, The LORD make his people an
hundred times so many more as they be: but,
my lord the king, are they not all my
lord’s servants? why then doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a
cause of trespass to Israel?
13-22:5 And
David said, Solomon my son is young
and tender, and the house that is to
be builded for the LORD must be exceeding
magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make
preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
13-28:4 Howbeit
the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king
over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father;
and among the sons of my father he liked me to make
me king over all Israel:
13-29:12 Both
riches and honour come of thee, and
thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is
power and might; and in thine hand it
is to make great, and to give strength unto
all.
14-4:11 And
Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the
work that he was to make for king Solomon for
the house of God;
14-4:16 The
pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did
Huram his father make to king Solomon for the
house of the LORD of bright brass.
14-5:13 It
came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be
heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and
cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever: that
then the house was filled with a
cloud, even the house of the LORD;
14-6:21 Hearken
therefore unto the supplications of thy servant, and of thy people Israel,
which they shall make toward this place: hear
thou from thy dwelling place, even from
heaven; and when thou hearest, forgive.
14-6:22 If
a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him swear, and the oath come before thine altar
in this house;
14-6:24 And
if thy people Israel be put to the worse before the enemy, because they have
sinned against thee; and shall return and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house;
14-7:11 Thus
Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king’s house: and all that came
into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of the
LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.
14-7:20 Then
will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and
this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight,
and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.
14-8:8 But of their children, who were left
after them in the land, whom the children of Israel consumed not, them did
Solomon make to pay tribute until this day.
14-8:9 But
of the children of Israel did Solomon make no
servants for his work; but they were men
of war, and chief of his captains, and captains of his chariots and horsemen.
14-10:1 And
Rehoboam went to Shechem: for to Shechem were all Israel come to make him king.
14-10:10 And
the young men that were brought up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt
thou answer the people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke
heavy, but make thou it somewhat lighter for us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My
little finger shall be thicker than
my father’s loins.
14-11:22 And
Rehoboam made Abijah the son of Maachah the chief, to be ruler among his brethren: for he thought to make him king.
14-14:7 Therefore
he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make
about them walls, and towers, gates,
and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have sought
the LORD our God, we have sought him, and
he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.
14-20:36 And
he joined himself with him to make ships to go
to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongaber.
14-25:8 But
if thou wilt go, do it, be strong for
the battle: God shall make thee fall before the
enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down.
14-29:10 Now
it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his
fierce wrath may turn away from us.
14-29:24 And
the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the
altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for
the king commanded that the burnt
offering and the sin offering should be
made for all Israel.
14-30:5 So
they established a decree to make proclamation
throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to
keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not
done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.
14-35:21 But
he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of
Judah? I come not against thee this
day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with
me, that he destroy thee not.
15-5:3 At
the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and
Shetharboznai, and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath
commanded you to build this house, and to make
up this wall?
15-5:4 Then
said we unto them after this manner, What are the names of the men that make this building?
15-5:9 Then
asked we those elders, and said unto
them thus, Who commanded you to build this house, and to make up these walls?
15-6:8 Moreover
I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders
of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king’s goods, even of the tribute beyond the river,
forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered.
15-7:13 I
make a decree, that all they of the people of
Israel, and of his priests and
Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to
Jerusalem, go with thee.
15-7:21 And
I, even I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers which are beyond the river, that whatsoever
Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of
you, it be done speedily,
15-10:3 Now
therefore let us make a covenant with our God to
put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel
of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it
be done according to the law.
15-10:11 Now
therefore make confession unto the LORD God of
your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of
the land, and from the strange wives.
16-2:4 Then
the king said unto me, For what dost thou make
request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.
16-2:8 And
a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber
to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the
wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king
granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.
16-4:2 And
he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these
feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out
of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
16-8:12 And
all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and
to make great mirth, because they had understood
the words that were declared unto them.
16-8:15 And
that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem,
saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches,
and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it
is written.
16-9:38 And
because of all this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes, Levites, and
priests, seal unto it.
16-10:33 For
the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt
offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the
holy things, and for the sin
offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our
God.
17-1:20 And
when the king’s decree which he shall make shall
be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall
give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.
17-4:8 Also
he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to
destroy them, to shew it unto Esther,
and to declare it unto her, and to
charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make
supplication unto him, and to make request
before him for her people.
17-5:5 Then
the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that
he may do as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that
Esther had prepared.
17-6:10 Then
the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as
thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king’s
gate: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken.
17-7:7 And
the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he
saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.
17-9:22 As
the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was
turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that
they should make them days of feasting and joy,
and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor.
18-5:18 For
he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.
18-8:5 If
thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make
thy supplication to the Almighty;
18-8:6 If
thou wert pure and upright; surely
now he would awake for thee, and make the
habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.
18-9:15 Whom,
though I were righteous, yet would I
not answer, but I would make supplication to my judge.
18-9:30 If
I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands
never so clean;
18-11:3 Should
thy lies make men hold their peace? and when
thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
18-11:19 Also
thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.
18-13:11 Shall
not his excellency make you afraid? and his
dread fall upon you?
18-13:21 Withdraw
thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make
me afraid.
18-13:23 How
many are mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.
18-15:24 Trouble
and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall
prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.
18-18:2 How
long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will
speak.
18-18:11 Terrors
shall make him afraid on every side, and shall
drive him to his feet.
18-19:3 These
ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to
me.
18-20:2 Therefore
do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this
I make haste.
18-22:27 Thou
shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall
hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
18-24:11 Which make
oil within their walls, and tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.
18-24:25 And
if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and
make my speech nothing worth?
18-28:25 To
make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth
the waters by measure.
18-31:15 Did
not he that made me in the womb make him? and
did not one fashion us in the womb?
18-33:7 Behold,
my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither
shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
18-34:29 When
he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble?
and when he hideth his face, who then
can behold him? whether it be done against
a nation, or against a man only:
18-35:9 By
reason of the multitude of oppressions they make
the oppressed to cry: they cry out by
reason of the arm of the mighty.
18-39:20 Canst
thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory
of his nostrils is terrible.
18-39:27 Doth
the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her
nest on high?
18-40:19 He
is the chief of the ways of God: he
that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
18-41:3 Will
he make many supplications unto thee? will he
speak soft words unto thee?
18-41:4 Will
he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him
for a servant for ever?
18-41:6 Shall
the companions make a banquet of him? shall they
part him among the merchants?
18-41:28 The
arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are
turned with him into stubble.
19-5:8 Lead
me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
19-6:6 I
am weary with my groaning; all the night make I
my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
19-11:2 For,
lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may
privily shoot at the upright in heart.
19-21:9 Thou
shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of
thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall
devour them.
19-21:12 Therefore
shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make
ready thine arrows upon thy strings
against the face of them.
19-22:9 But
thou art he that took me out of the
womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts.
19-31:16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for
thy mercies’ sake.
19-34:2 My
soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the
humble shall hear thereof, and be
glad.
19-36:8 They
shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
19-38:22 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.
19-39:4 LORD,
make me to know mine end, and the measure of my
days, what it is; that I may know how
frail I am.
19-39:8 Deliver
me from all my transgressions: make me not the
reproach of the foolish.
19-40:13 Be
pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make
haste to help me.
19-40:17 But
I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
19-41:3 The
LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
19-45:16 Instead
of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make
princes in all the earth.
19-45:17 I
will make thy name to be remembered in all
generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
19-46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof
shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most
High.
19-51:6 Behold,
thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know
wisdom.
19-51:8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou
hast broken may rejoice.
19-55:2 Attend
unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make
a noise;
19-57:1 Be
merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee:
yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my
refuge, until these calamities be
overpast.
19-59:6 They
return at evening: they make a noise like a dog,
and go round about the city.
19-59:14 And
at evening let them return; and let
them make a noise like a dog, and go round about
the city.
19-64:8 So
they shall make their own tongue to fall upon
themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
19-66:1 Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:
19-66:2 Sing
forth the honour of his name: make his praise
glorious.
19-66:8 O
bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of
his praise to be heard:
19-69:23 Let
their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make
their loins continually to shake.
19-70:1 Make haste, O
God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O
LORD.
19-70:5 But
I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make
no tarrying.
19-71:12 O
God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste
for my help.
19-71:16 I
will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make
mention of thy righteousness, even of
thine only.
19-78:5 For
he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he
commanded our fathers, that they should make
them known to their children:
19-81:1 Sing
aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise
unto the God of Jacob.
19-83:2 For,
lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that
hate thee have lifted up the head.
19-83:11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all
their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
19-83:13 O
my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble
before the wind.
19-83:15 So
persecute them with thy tempest, and make them
afraid with thy storm.
19-84:6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
19-87:4 I
will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them
that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.
19-89:1 I
will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
19-89:27 Also
I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
19-89:29 His
seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
19-90:15 Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
19-95:1 O
come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a
joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
19-95:2 Let
us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make
a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
19-98:4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
19-98:6 With
trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise
before the LORD, the King.
19-100:1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
19-104:15 And
wine that maketh glad the heart of
man, and oil to make his face
to shine, and bread which strengtheneth
man’s heart.
19-104:17 Where
the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are
her house.
19-105:1 O
give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make
known his deeds among the people.
19-106:8 Nevertheless
he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make
his mighty power to be known.
19-110:1 The
LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
19-115:8 They
that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
19-119:27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so
shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
19-119:35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for
therein do I delight.
19-119:135 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me
thy statutes.
19-132:17 There
will I make the horn of David to bud: I have
ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
19-135:18 They
that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
19-139:8 If
I ascend up into heaven, thou art there:
if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
19-141:1 LORD,
I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear
unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.
19-142:1 I
cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.
19-145:12 To
make known to the sons of men his mighty acts,
and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
20-1:16 For
their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed
blood.
20-1:23 Turn
you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
20-6:3 Do
this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy
friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy
friend.
20-14:9 Fools
make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.
20-20:18 Every purpose is established by counsel:
and with good advice make war.
20-20:25 It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make
enquiry.
20-22:21 That
I might make thee know the certainty of the
words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send
unto thee?
20-22:24 Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a
furious man thou shalt not go:
20-23:5 Wilt
thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves
wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
20-24:6 For
by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in
multitude of counsellors there is safety.
20-24:27 Prepare
thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in
the field; and afterwards build thine house.
20-27:11 My
son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may
answer him that reproacheth me.
20-30:26 The
conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
21-2:24 There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make
his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.
21-7:13 Consider
the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made
crooked?
21-7:16 Be
not righteous over much; neither make thyself
over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?
22-1:11 We
will make thee borders of gold with studs of
silver.
22-8:14 Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or
to a young hart upon the mountains of spices.
23-1:15 And
when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are
full of blood.
23-1:16 Wash
you, make you clean; put away the evil of your
doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
23-3:7 In
that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.
23-5:19 That
say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and
come, that we may know it!
23-6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they
see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart,
and convert, and be healed.
23-7:6 Let
us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make
a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:
23-10:23 For
the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption,
even determined, in the midst of all the land.
23-11:3 And
shall make him of quick understanding in the
fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither
reprove after the hearing of his ears:
23-11:15 And
the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his
mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the
seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.
23-12:4 And
in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his
doings among the people, make mention that his
name is exalted.
23-13:12 I
will make a man more precious than fine gold;
even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
23-13:20 It
shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to
generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the
shepherds make their fold there.
23-14:23 I
will also make it a possession for the bittern,
and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith
the LORD of hosts.
23-16:3 Take
counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as
the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that
wandereth.
23-17:2 The
cities of Aroer are forsaken: they
shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
23-17:11 In
the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and
in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to
flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and
of desperate sorrow.
23-17:12 Woe
to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the
rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!
23-19:10 And
they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make
sluices and ponds for fish.
23-23:16 Take
an harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest
be remembered.
23-25:6 And
in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make
unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat
things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
23-26:13 O
LORD our God, other lords beside thee
have had dominion over us: but by
thee only will we make mention of thy name.
23-27:5 Or
let him take hold of my strength, that he
may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.
23-28:9 Whom
shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make
to understand doctrine? them that are weaned
from the milk, and drawn from the
breasts.
23-28:16 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a
tried stone, a precious corner stone, a
sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make
haste.
23-29:21 That
make a man an offender for a word, and lay a
snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing
of nought.
23-32:6 For
the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to
practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause
the drink of the thirsty to fail.
23-32:11 Tremble,
ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.
23-33:1 Woe
to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not
spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee!
when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to
deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
23-34:15 There
shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and
hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered,
every one with her mate.
23-36:15 Neither
let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying,
The LORD will surely deliver us: this city shall not be delivered into the hand
of the king of Assyria.
23-36:16 Hearken
not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make
an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me: and
eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every
one the waters of his own cistern;
23-37:9 And
he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah,
saying,
23-38:12 Mine
age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd’s tent: I have cut off
like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.
23-38:13 I
reckoned till morning, that, as a
lion, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end
of me.
23-38:16 O
Lord, by these things men live, and
in all these things is the life of my
spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to
live.
23-38:19 The
living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
23-40:3 The
voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
23-41:15 Behold,
I will make thee a new sharp threshing
instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
23-41:18 I
will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I
will make the wilderness a pool of water, and
the dry land springs of water.
23-42:15 I
will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up
all their herbs; and I will make the rivers
islands, and I will dry up the pools.
23-42:16 And
I will bring the blind by a way that they
knew not; I will lead them in paths that they
have not known: I will make darkness light
before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and
not forsake them.
23-42:21 The
LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.
23-43:19 Behold,
I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will
even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
23-44:9 They
that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not
profit; and they are their own
witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
23-44:19 And
none considereth in his heart, neither is
there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the
fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted
flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall
down to the stock of a tree?
23-45:2 I
will go before thee, and make the crooked places
straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars
of iron:
23-45:7 I
form the light, and create darkness: I make
peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
23-45:14 Thus
saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the
Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine:
they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall
down unto thee, they shall make supplication
unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no
God.
23-46:5 To
whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be
like?
23-47:2 Take
the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make
bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.
23-48:1 Hear
ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come
forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.
23-48:15 I,
even I, have spoken; yea, I have
called him: I have brought him, and he shall make
his way prosperous.
23-49:11 And
I will make all my mountains a way, and my
highways shall be exalted.
23-49:17 Thy
children shall make haste; thy destroyers and
they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.
23-50:2 Wherefore,
when I came, was there no man? when I
called, was there none to answer? Is
my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver?
behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make
the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.
23-50:3 I
clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make
sackcloth their covering.
23-51:3 For
the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the
garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and
the voice of melody.
23-51:4 Hearken
unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed
from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for
a light of the people.
23-52:5 Now
therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for
nought? they that rule over them make them to
howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.
23-53:10 Yet
it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make
his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his
seed, he shall prolong his days,
and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
23-54:3 For
thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall
inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate
cities to be inhabited.
23-54:12 And
I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates
of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
23-55:3 Incline
your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
23-56:7 Even
them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make
them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for
mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
23-57:4 Against
whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make
ye a wide mouth, and draw out the
tongue? are ye not children of
transgression, a seed of falsehood,
23-58:4 Behold,
ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye
shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.
23-58:11 And
the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered
garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
23-59:7 Their
feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed
innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts
of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in
their paths.
23-60:13 The
glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box
together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
23-60:15 Whereas
thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make
thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
23-60:17 For
brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass,
and for stones iron: I will also make thy
officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.
23-61:8 For
I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct
their work in truth, and I will make an
everlasting covenant with them.
23-62:6 I
have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence.
23-62:7 And
give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make
Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
23-63:6 And
I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make
them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
23-63:12 That
led them by the right hand of Moses
with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
23-63:14 As
a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest:
so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a
glorious name.
23-64:2 As
when the melting fire burneth, the
fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy
name known to thine adversaries, that the
nations may tremble at thy presence!
23-66:22 For
as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make,
shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name
remain.
24-4:7 The
lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his
way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy
land desolate; and thy cities shall
be laid waste, without an inhabitant.
24-4:16 Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish
against Jerusalem, that watchers come
from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.
24-4:27 For
thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.
24-4:30 And
when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with
crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest
thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make
thyself fair; thy lovers will despise
thee, they will seek thy life.
24-5:10 Go
ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not
a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD’S.
24-5:14 Wherefore
thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood,
and it shall devour them.
24-5:18 Nevertheless
in those days, saith the LORD, I will not make a
full end with you.
24-6:8 Be
thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited.
24-6:26 O
daughter of my people, gird thee with
sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make
thee mourning, as for an only son,
most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us.
24-7:16 Therefore
pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither
make intercession to me: for I will not hear
thee.
24-7:18 The
children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make
cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods,
that they may provoke me to anger.
24-9:11 And
I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an
inhabitant.
24-9:18 And
let them make haste, and take up a wailing for
us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with
waters.
24-10:22 Behold,
the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country,
to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.
24-13:16 Give
glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet
stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into
the shadow of death, and make it gross
darkness.
24-15:14 And
I will make thee
to pass with thine enemies into a land which
thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you.
24-15:20 And
I will make thee unto this people a fenced
brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail
against thee: for I am with thee to
save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
24-16:6 Both
the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried,
neither shall men lament for them,
nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for
them:
24-16:20 Shall
a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?
24-18:4 And
the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he
made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
24-18:11 Now
therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and
devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
24-18:16 To
make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be
astonished, and wag his head.
24-19:7 And
I will make void the counsel of Judah and
Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before
their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their
carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts
of the earth.
24-19:8 And
I will make this city desolate, and an hissing;
every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the
plagues thereof.
24-19:12 Thus
will I do unto this place, saith the LORD, and to the inhabitants thereof, and even make
this city as Tophet:
24-20:4 For
thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will make thee a
terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of
their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it:
and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he
shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.
24-20:9 Then
I said, I will not make mention of him, nor
speak any more in his name. But his word was
in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with
forbearing, and I could not stay.
24-22:6 For
thus saith the LORD unto the king’s house of Judah; Thou art Gilead unto me, and the
head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make thee a wilderness, and cities which are not
inhabited.
24-23:15 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them
with wormwood, and make them drink the water of
gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the
land.
24-23:16 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that
prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they
speak a vision of their own heart, and not
out of the mouth of the LORD.
24-25:9 Behold,
I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and
Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against
this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations
round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make
them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.
24-25:12 And
it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon,
and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the
Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual
desolations.
24-25:18 To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of
Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing,
and a curse; as it is this day;
24-26:6 Then
will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the
earth.
24-27:2 Thus
saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes,
and put them upon thy neck,
24-27:18 But
if they be prophets, and if the word
of the LORD be with them, let them now make
intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house
of the LORD, and in the house of the
king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.
24-28:13 Go
and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of
wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of
iron.
24-29:17 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine,
and the pestilence, and will make them like vile
figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
24-29:22 And
of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon, saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king
of Babylon roasted in the fire;
24-30:10 Therefore
fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O
Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of
their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet,
and none shall make him afraid.
24-30:11 For
I am with thee, saith the LORD, to
save thee: though I make a full end of all
nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make
a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee
altogether unpunished.
24-30:19 And
out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall
not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
24-31:4 Again
I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt
again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them
that make merry.
24-31:13 Then
shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I
will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
24-31:21 Set
thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set
thine heart toward the highway, even the
way which thou wentest: turn again, O
virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
24-31:31 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make
a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
24-31:33 But
this shall be the covenant that I
will make with the house of Israel; After those
days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in
their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
24-32:40 And
I will make an everlasting covenant with them,
that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in
their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
24-34:17 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty,
every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a
liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the
famine; and I will make you to be removed into
all the kingdoms of the earth.
24-34:22 Behold,
I will command, saith the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they
shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an
inhabitant.
24-44:19 And
when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings
unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her,
and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?
24-46:27 But
fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold,
I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity;
and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.
24-46:28 Fear
thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full
end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure;
yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.
24-48:26 Make ye him drunken: for he magnified himself against the LORD: Moab also
shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.
24-49:15 For,
lo, I will make thee small among the heathen, and despised among men.
24-49:16 Thy
terribleness hath deceived thee, and the
pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that
holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make
thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the
LORD.
24-49:19 Behold,
he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation
of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run
away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for
who is like me? and who will appoint
me the time? and who is that shepherd
that will stand before me?
24-49:20 Therefore
hear the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Edom; and his
purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the
least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.
24-50:3 For
out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein:
they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.
24-50:44 Behold,
he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of
the strong: but I will make them suddenly run
away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for
who is like me? and who will appoint
me the time? and who is that shepherd
that will stand before me?
24-50:45 Therefore
hear ye the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Babylon; and his
purposes, that he hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the
least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitation
desolate with them.
24-51:11 Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD
hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it;
because it is the vengeance of the
LORD, the vengeance of his temple.
24-51:12 Set
up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make
the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath
both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.
24-51:25 Behold,
I am against thee, O destroying
mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch
out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.
24-51:29 And
the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the LORD shall be
performed against Babylon, to make the land of
Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.
24-51:36 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for
thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her
springs dry.
24-51:39 In
their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a
perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD.
24-51:57 And
I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and
her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the
King, whose name is the LORD of
hosts.
25-4:21 Rejoice
and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also
shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked.
26-3:26 And
I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy
mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house.
26-4:9 Take
thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and
fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee
bread thereof, according to the
number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety
days shalt thou eat thereof.
26-5:14 Moreover
I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the
nations that are round about thee, in
the sight of all that pass by.
26-6:14 So
will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make
the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in
all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-7:14 They
have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready;
but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is
upon all the multitude thereof.
26-7:23 Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes,
and the city is full of violence.
26-7:24 Wherefore
I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I
will also make the pomp of the strong to cease;
and their holy places shall be defiled.
26-11:13 And
it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then
fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD!
wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of
Israel?
26-12:23 Tell
them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make
this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel;
but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.
26-13:18 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women
that sew pillows to all armholes, and make
kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls
of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?
26-13:20 Wherefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make
them fly, and I will tear them from
your arms, and will let the souls go, even
the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
26-14:8 And
I will set my face against that man, and will make
him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people;
and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-15:8 And
I will make the land desolate, because they have
committed a trespass, saith the Lord GOD.
26-16:42 So
will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my
jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more
angry.
26-17:17 Neither
shall Pharaoh with his mighty army
and great company make for him in the war, by
casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons:
26-18:31 Cast
away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye
die, O house of Israel?
26-20:17 Nevertheless
mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.
26-20:26 And
I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that
I might make them desolate, to the end that they
might know that I am the LORD.
26-20:31 For
when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons
to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto
this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
not be enquired of by you.
26-21:10 It
is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is
furbished that it may glitter: should we then make
mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as
every tree.
26-22:30 And
I sought for a man among them, that should make
up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not
destroy it: but I found none.
26-23:27 Thus
will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and
thy whoredom brought from the land of
Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt
any more.
26-24:5 Take
the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them
seethe the bones of it therein.
26-24:9 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.
26-24:17 Forbear
to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the
tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not
thy lips, and eat not the bread of
men.
26-25:4 Behold,
therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they
shall set their palaces in thee, and make their
dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.
26-25:5 And
I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the
Ammonites a couchingplace for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-25:13 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will
cut off man and beast from it; and I will make
it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
26-26:4 And
they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: I will also
scrape her dust from her, and make her like the
top of a rock.
26-26:8 He
shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against
thee, and lift up the buckler against thee.
26-26:12 And
they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise: and they shall break
down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses: and they shall lay thy stones
and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water.
26-26:14 And
I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou
shalt be a place to spread nets upon;
thou shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-26:19 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee
a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up
the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee;
26-26:21 I
will make thee a terror, and thou shalt be no more: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found
again, saith the Lord GOD.
26-27:5 They
have made all thy ship boards of fir
trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make
masts for thee.
26-27:31 And
they shall make themselves utterly bald for
thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with
bitterness of heart and bitter
wailing.
26-29:10 Behold,
therefore I am against thee, and
against thy rivers, and I will make the land of
Egypt utterly waste and desolate,
from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.
26-29:12 And
I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the
midst of the countries that are desolate,
and her cities among the cities that are laid
waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the
nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
26-30:9 In
that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make
the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the
day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.
26-30:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the
multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
26-30:12 And
I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land
into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the
land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have
spoken it.
26-30:14 And
I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire
in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.
26-30:21 Son
of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not
be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
26-32:7 And
when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and
the moon shall not give her light.
26-32:8 All
the bright lights of heaven will I make dark
over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:10 Yea,
I will make many people amazed at thee, and
their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword
before them; and they shall tremble at every
moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.
26-32:14 Then
will I make their waters deep, and cause their
rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:15 When
I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the
country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all
them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the LORD.
26-34:25 And
I will make with them a covenant of peace, and
will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell
safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
26-34:26 And
I will make them and the places round about my
hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there
shall be showers of blessing.
26-34:28 And
they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the
land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.
26-35:3 And
say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out
mine hand against thee, and I will make thee
most desolate.
26-35:7 Thus
will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut
off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
26-35:9 I
will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy
cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-35:11 Therefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast
used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make
myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
26-35:14 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.
26-37:19 Say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph,
which is in the hand of Ephraim, and
the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine
hand.
26-37:22 And
I will make them one nation in the land upon the
mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be
no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more
at all:
26-37:26 Moreover
I will make a covenant of peace with them; it
shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply
them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
26-39:7 So
will I make my holy name known in the midst of
my people Israel; and I will not let them
pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
26-42:20 He
measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the
profane place.
26-43:18 And
he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the
day when they shall make it, to offer burnt
offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
26-43:27 And
when these days are expired, it shall be, that
upon the eighth day, and so forward,
the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon
the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.
26-44:14 But
I will make them keepers of the charge of the
house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.
26-45:15 And
one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the fat pastures of
Israel; for a meat offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings,
to make reconciliation for them, saith the Lord
GOD.
26-45:17 And
it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt
offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the
new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he
shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering,
and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation
for the house of Israel.
27-1:10 And
the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath
appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse
liking than the children which are of
your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.
27-2:5 The
king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will
not make known unto me the dream, with the
interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be
made a dunghill.
27-2:9 But
if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye
have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be
changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the
interpretation thereof.
27-2:25 Then
Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I
have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make
known unto the king the interpretation.
27-2:26 The
king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make
known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?
27-2:30 But
as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that
thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart.
27-3:29 Therefore
I make a decree, That every people, nation, and
language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill:
because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
27-4:6 Therefore
made I a decree to bring in all the wise men
of Babylon before me, that they might make
known unto me the interpretation of the dream.
27-4:7 Then
came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and
I told the dream before them; but they did not make
known unto me the interpretation thereof.
27-4:18 This
dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the
interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make
known unto me the interpretation: but thou art
able; for the spirit of the holy gods is
in thee.
27-4:25 That
they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of
the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass
as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall
pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men,
and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
27-4:32 And
they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall
pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of
men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
27-5:8 Then
came in all the king’s wise men: but
they could not read the writing, nor make known
to the king the interpretation thereof.
27-5:15 And
now the wise men, the astrologers,
have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but
they could not shew the interpretation of the thing:
27-5:16 And
I have heard of thee, that thou canst make
interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou
shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a
chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
27-5:17 Then
Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give
thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation.
27-6:7 All
the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors,
and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a
petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be
cast into the den of lions.
27-6:26 I
make a decree, That in every dominion of my
kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for
ever, and his kingdom that which
shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall
be even unto the end.
27-8:16 And
I heard a man’s voice between the banks
of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make
this man to understand the vision.
27-8:19 And
he said, Behold, I will make thee know what
shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.
27-9:24 Seventy
weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the
transgression, and to make an end of sins, and
to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to
bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and
to anoint the most Holy.
27-9:27 And
he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the
week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the
overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the
consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
27-10:14 Now
I am come to make thee understand what shall
befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.
27-11:6 And
in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s
daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power
of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and
they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.
27-11:35 And
some of them of understanding shall
fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.
27-11:44 But
tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he
shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
28-2:3 Lest
I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land,
and slay her with thirst.
28-2:6 Therefore,
behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and make
a wall, that she shall not find her paths.
28-2:12 And
I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given
me: and I will make them a forest, and the
beasts of the field shall eat them.
28-2:18 And
in that day will I make a covenant for them with
the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow
and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.
28-5:2 And
the revolters are profound to make slaughter,
though I have been a rebuker of them
all.
28-7:3 They
make the king glad with their wickedness, and
the princes with their lies.
28-10:11 And
Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the
corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make
Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob
shall break his clods.
28-11:8 How
shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall
I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as
Admah? how shall I set thee as
Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.
28-12:1 Ephraim
feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies
and desolation; and they do make a covenant with
the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.
28-12:9 And
I that am the LORD thy God from the
land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in
tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.
29-2:19 Yea,
the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and
wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
30-6:10 And
a man’s uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the
bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is
there yet any with thee? and he
shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.
30-8:4 Hear
this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make
the poor of the land to fail,
30-8:10 And
I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and
I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I
will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter
day.
30-9:14 And
I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build
the waste cities, and inhabit them; and
they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
33-1:6 Therefore
I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I
will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the
foundations thereof.
33-1:8 Therefore
I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the
owls.
33-1:16 Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate
children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity
from thee.
33-2:12 I
will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of
Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the
midst of their fold: they shall make great noise
by reason of the multitude of men.
33-3:5 Thus
saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make
my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth
not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
33-4:4 But
they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid:
for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.
33-4:7 And
I will make her that halted a remnant, and her
that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in
mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.
33-4:13 Arise
and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make
thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs
brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their
gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.
33-6:13 Therefore
also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.
33-6:16 For
the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye
walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a
desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the
reproach of my people.
34-1:8 But
with an overrunning flood he will make an utter
end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.
34-1:9 What
do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an
utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
34-1:14 And
the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will
I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.
34-2:1 He
that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy face: keep the munition, watch the
way, make thy
loins strong, fortify thy power
mightily.
34-2:5 He
shall recount his worthies: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make haste to the wall thereof, and the defence shall
be prepared.
34-3:6 And
I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and make
thee vile, and will set thee as a gazingstock.
34-3:14 Draw
thee waters for the siege, fortify thy strong holds: go into clay, and tread
the morter, make strong the brickkiln.
34-3:15 There
shall the fire devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off, it shall eat thee up
like the cankerworm: make thyself many as the cankerworm,
make thyself many as the locusts.
35-2:2 And
the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make
it plain upon tables, that he may run
that readeth it.
35-2:18 What
profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten
image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
35-3:2 O
LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was
afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the
years make known; in wrath remember mercy.
35-3:19 The
LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk
upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
36-1:18 Neither
their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the
LORD’S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy:
for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all
them that dwell in the land.
36-2:13 And
he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness.
36-3:13 The
remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a
deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and
none shall make them afraid.
36-3:20 At
that time will I bring you again, even
in the time that I gather you: for I will make
you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your
captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.
37-2:23 In
that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant,
the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make
thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
38-6:11 Then
take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of
Josedech, the high priest;
38-9:15 The
LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling
stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled
like bowls, and as the corners of the
altar.
38-9:17 For
how great is his goodness, and how
great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.
38-10:1 Ask
ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright
clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
38-12:2 Behold,
I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto
all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
38-12:3 And
in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome
stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in
pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
38-12:6 In
that day will I make the governors of Judah like
an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they
shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and
Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
39-2:15 And
did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of
the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take
heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his
youth.
39-3:17 And
they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man
spareth his own son that serveth him.
40-1:19 Then
Joseph her husband, being a just man, and
not willing to make her a publick example, was
minded to put her away privily.
40-3:3 For
this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one
crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
40-4:19 And
he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make
you fishers of men.
40-5:36 Neither
shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make
one hair white or black.
40-8:2 And,
behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou
canst make me clean.
40-12:16 And
charged them that they should not make him
known:
40-12:33 Either
make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the
tree is known by his fruit.
40-17:4 Then
answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if
thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles;
one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
40-22:44 The
Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
40-23:5 But
all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make
broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
40-23:14 Woe
unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and
for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye
shall receive the greater damnation.
40-23:15 Woe
unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than
yourselves.
40-23:25 Woe
unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make
clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of
extortion and excess.
40-24:47 Verily
I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler
over all his goods.
40-25:21 His
lord said unto him, Well done, thou good
and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the
joy of thy lord.
40-25:23 His
lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been
faithful over a few things, I will make thee
ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
40-27:65 Pilate
said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make
it as sure as ye can.
41-1:3 The
voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
41-1:17 And
Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make
you to become fishers of men.
41-1:40 And
there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying
unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me
clean.
41-3:12 And
he straitly charged them that they should not make
him known.
41-5:39 And
when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make
ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
41-6:39 And
he commanded them to make all sit down by
companies upon the green grass.
41-9:5 And
Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let
us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one
for Moses, and one for Elias.
41-12:36 For
David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my
right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
41-12:40 Which
devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make
long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.
41-12:42 And
there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
41-14:15 And
he will shew you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for
us.
42-1:17 And
he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of
the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
42-3:4 As
it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice
of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
42-5:12 And
it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy:
who seeing Jesus fell on his face,
and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
42-5:33 And
they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
42-5:34 And
he said unto them, Can ye make the children of
the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
42-9:14 For
they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.
42-9:33 And
it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it
is good for us to be here: and let us make three
tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing
what he said.
42-9:52 And
sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of
the Samaritans, to make ready for him.
42-11:39 And
the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make
clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of
ravening and wickedness.
42-11:40 Ye fools, did not he that made that
which is without make that which is within also?
42-12:37 Blessed
are those servants, whom the lord when
he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird
himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and
will come forth and serve them.
42-12:42 And
the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make
ruler over his household, to give them
their portion of meat in due season?
42-12:44 Of
a truth I say unto you, that he will make him
ruler over all that he hath.
42-14:18 And
they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a
piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
42-14:31 Or
what king, going to make war against another
king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten
thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
42-15:19 And
am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me
as one of thy hired servants.
42-15:29 And
he answering said to his father, Lo,
these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy
commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
42-15:32 It
was meet that we should make merry, and be glad:
for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
42-16:9 And
I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of
the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into
everlasting habitations.
42-17:8 And
will not rather say unto him, Make ready
wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken;
and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
42-19:5 And
when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him,
Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day
I must abide at thy house.
42-20:43 Till
I make thine enemies thy footstool.
42-20:47 Which
devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long
prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
42-22:12 And
he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make
ready.
43-1:23 He
said, I am the voice of one crying in
the wilderness, Make straight the way of the
Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.
43-2:16 And
said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.
43-6:10 And
Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was
much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
43-6:15 When
Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain
himself alone.
43-8:32 And
ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make
you free.
43-8:36 If
the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall
be free indeed.
43-10:24 Then
came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us
plainly.
43-14:23 Jesus
answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my
Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make
our abode with him.
44-2:28 Thou
hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make
me full of joy with thy countenance.
44-2:35 Until
I make thy foes thy footstool.
44-7:40 Saying
unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out
of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
44-7:44 Our
fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed,
speaking unto Moses, that he should make it
according to the fashion that he had seen.
44-9:34 And
Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.
44-22:1 Men,
brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence which
I make now unto you.
44-22:18 And
saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee
quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning
me.
44-23:23 And
he called unto him two centurions,
saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to
Caesarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the
third hour of the night;
44-26:16 But
rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose,
to make thee a minister and a witness both of
these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will
appear unto thee;
44-26:24 And
as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art
beside thyself; much learning doth make thee
mad.
45-1:9 For
God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that
without ceasing I make mention of you always in
my prayers;
45-3:3 For
what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make
the faith of God without effect?
45-3:31 Do
we then make void the law through faith? God
forbid: yea, we establish the law.
45-9:21 Hath
not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
45-9:22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering
the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
45-9:23 And
that he might make known the riches of his glory
on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
45-9:28 For
he will finish the work, and cut it short
in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make
upon the earth.
45-13:14 But
put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not
provision for the flesh, to fulfil the
lusts thereof.
45-14:4 Who
art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or
falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
45-14:19 Let
us therefore follow after the things which make
for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
45-15:18 For
I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought
by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word
and deed,
45-15:26 For
it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make
a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.
46-4:5 Therefore
judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to
light the hidden things of darkness, and will make
manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of
God.
46-6:15 Know
ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the
members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
46-8:13 Wherefore,
if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no
flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my
brother to offend.
46-9:15 But
I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it
should be so done unto me: for it were better
for me to die, than that any man should make my
glorying void.
46-9:18 What
is my reward then? Verily that, when
I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of
Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
46-10:13 There
hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to
be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
47-2:2 For
if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh
me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?
47-9:5 Therefore
I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto
you, and make up before hand your bounty,
whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.
47-9:8 And
God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always
having all sufficiency in all things, may
abound to every good work:
47-10:12 For
we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare
ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by
themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
47-12:17 Did
I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent
unto you?
47-12:18 I
desired Titus, and with him I sent a
brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we
not in the same spirit? walked we not
in the same steps?
48-2:18 For
if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make
myself a transgressor.
48-3:17 And
this I say, that the covenant, that
was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and
thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make
the promise of none effect.
48-6:12 As
many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh,
they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution
for the cross of Christ.
49-2:15 Having
abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the
law of commandments contained in
ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one
new man, so making peace;
49-3:9 And
to make all men
see what is the fellowship of the
mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who
created all things by Jesus Christ:
49-5:13 But
all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever
doth make manifest is light.
49-6:19 And
for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly,
to make known the mystery of the gospel,
49-6:21 But
that ye also may know my affairs, and how
I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
51-1:27 To
whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this
mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
51-4:4 That
I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
51-4:9 With
Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known
unto you all things which are done here.
52-3:12 And
the Lord make you to increase and abound in love
one toward another, and toward all men, even
as we do toward you:
53-3:9 Not
because we have not power, but to make ourselves
an ensample unto you to follow us.
55-3:15 And
that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is
in Christ Jesus.
55-4:5 But
watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
58-1:13 But
to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
58-2:10 For
it became him, for whom are all
things, and by whom are all things,
in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the
captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
58-2:17 Wherefore
in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest
in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
58-7:25 Wherefore
he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing
he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
58-8:5 Who
serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished
of God when he was about to make the tabernacle:
for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to
thee in the mount.
58-8:8 For
finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when
I will make a new covenant with the house of
Israel and with the house of Judah:
58-8:10 For
this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith
the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts:
and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
58-9:9 Which
was a figure for the time then
present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining
to the conscience;
58-10:1 For
the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those
sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make
the comers thereunto perfect.
58-10:16 This
is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I
will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
58-12:13 And
make straight paths for your feet, lest that
which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
58-13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will,
working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ;
to whom be glory for ever and ever.
Amen.
59-3:18 And
the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
60-5:10 But
the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ
Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make
you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
61-1:8 For
if these things be in you, and abound, they make
you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the
knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
61-1:10 Wherefore
the rather, brethren, give diligence to make
your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
61-2:3 And
through covetousness shall they with feigned words make
merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their
damnation slumbereth not.
62-1:10 If
we say that we have not sinned, we make him a
liar, and his word is not in us.
66-3:9 Behold,
I will make them of the synagogue of Satan,
which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to
know that I have loved thee.
66-3:12 Him
that overcometh will I make a pillar in the
temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the
name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my
God: and I will write upon him my new
name.
66-10:9 And
I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said
unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and
it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be
in thy mouth sweet as honey.
66-11:7 And
when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of
the bottomless pit shall make war against them,
and shall overcome them, and kill them.
66-11:10 And
they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another;
because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
66-12:17 And
the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make
war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have
the testimony of Jesus Christ.
66-13:4 And
they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped
the beast, saying, Who is like unto
the beast? who is able to make war with him?
66-13:7 And
it was given unto him to make war with the
saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and
tongues, and nations.
66-13:14 And
deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the
means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;
saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a
sword, and did live.
66-17:14 These
shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall
overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are
with him are called, and chosen, and
faithful.
66-17:16 And
the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and
shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat
her flesh, and burn her with fire.
66-19:11 And
I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in
righteousness he doth judge and make war.
66-19:19 And
I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered
together to make war against him that sat on the
horse, and against his army.
66-21:5 And
he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make
all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and
faithful.
