M,27 made
01-1:7 And
God made the firmament, and divided the waters
which were under the firmament from
the waters which were above the
firmament: and it was so.
01-1:16 And
God made two great lights; the greater light to
rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
01-1:25 And
God made the beast of the earth after his kind,
and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after
his kind: and God saw that it was good.
01-1:31 And
God saw every thing that he had made, and,
behold, it was very good. And the
evening and the morning were the sixth day.
01-2:2 And
on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made;
and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
01-2:3 And
God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had
rested from all his work which God created and made.
01-2:4 These
are the generations of the heavens
and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
01-2:9 And
out of the ground made the LORD God to grow
every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life
also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
01-2:22 And
the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made
he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
01-3:1 Now
the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said,
Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
01-3:7 And
the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
01-5:1 This
is the book of the generations of
Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
01-6:6 And
it repented the LORD that he had made man on the
earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
01-6:7 And
the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the
earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air;
for it repenteth me that I have made them.
01-7:4 For
yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty
nights; and every living substance that I have made
will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
01-8:1 And
God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters
asswaged;
01-8:6 And
it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the
ark which he had made:
01-9:6 Whoso
sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
01-13:4 Unto
the place of the altar, which he had made there
at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD.
01-14:2 That these made
war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of
Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.
01-14:23 That
I will not take from a thread even to
a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made
Abram rich:
01-15:18 In
the same day the LORD made a covenant with
Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt
unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
01-17:5 Neither
shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a
father of many nations have I made thee.
01-19:3 And
he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his
house; and he made them a feast, and did bake
unleavened bread, and they did eat.
01-19:33 And
they made their father drink wine that night:
and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when
she lay down, nor when she arose.
01-19:35 And
they made their father drink wine that night
also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she
lay down, nor when she arose.
01-21:6 And
Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with
me.
01-21:8 And
the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made
a great feast the same day that Isaac
was weaned.
01-21:27 And
Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.
01-21:32 Thus
they made a covenant at Beersheba: then Abimelech
rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the
land of the Philistines.
01-23:17 And
the field of Ephron, which was in
Machpelah, which was before Mamre,
the field, and the cave which was therein,
and all the trees that were in the
field, that were in all the borders
round about, were made sure
01-23:20 And
the field, and the cave that is therein,
were made sure unto Abraham for a possession of
a buryingplace by the sons of Heth.
01-24:11 And
he made his camels to kneel down without the
city by a well of water at the time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water.
01-24:21 And
the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.
01-24:37 And
my master made me swear, saying, Thou shalt not
take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I
dwell:
01-24:46 And
she made haste, and let down her pitcher from
her shoulder, and said, Drink, and I
will give thy camels drink also: so I drank, and she made
the camels drink also.
01-26:22 And
he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not:
and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the
land.
01-26:30 And
he made them a feast, and they did eat and
drink.
01-27:14 And
he went, and fetched, and brought them to
his mother: and his mother made savoury meat,
such as his father loved.
01-27:30 And
it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an
end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of
Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.
01-27:31 And
he also had made savoury meat, and brought it
unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his
son’s venison, that thy soul may bless me.
01-27:37 And
Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made
him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with
corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?
01-29:22 And
Laban gathered together all the men of the place, and made
a feast.
01-30:37 And
Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and
pilled white strakes in them, and made the white
appear which was in the rods.
01-31:46 And
Jacob said unto his brethren, Gather stones; and they took stones, and made an heap: and they did eat there upon the heap.
01-33:17 And
Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is
called Succoth.
01-37:3 Now
Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made
him a coat of many colours.
01-37:7 For,
behold, we were binding sheaves in
the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your
sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to
my sheaf.
01-37:9 And
he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I
have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven
stars made obeisance to me.
01-39:3 And
his master saw that the LORD was with
him, and that the LORD made all that he did to
prosper in his hand.
01-39:4 And
Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.
01-39:5 And
it came to pass from the time that he
had made him overseer in his house, and over all
that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and
the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the
field.
01-39:23 The
keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to
prosper.
01-40:20 And
it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s
birthday, that he made a feast unto all his
servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker
among his servants.
01-41:43 And
he made him to ride in the second chariot which
he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all
the land of Egypt.
01-41:51 And
Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my
toil, and all my father’s house.
01-42:7 And
Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made
himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them,
Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food.
01-43:25 And
they made ready the present against Joseph came
at noon: for they heard that they should eat bread there.
01-43:28 And
they answered, Thy servant our father is in
good health, he is yet alive. And
they bowed down their heads, and made obeisance.
01-43:30 And
Joseph made haste; for his bowels did yearn upon
his brother: and he sought where to
weep; and he entered into his chamber,
and wept there.
01-45:1 Then
Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he
cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him,
while Joseph made himself known unto his
brethren.
01-45:8 So
now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he
hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of
all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
01-45:9 Haste
ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, Thus saith thy son Joseph, God
hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto
me, tarry not:
01-46:29 And
Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to
meet Israel his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell
on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.
01-47:26 And
Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto
this day, that Pharaoh should have
the fifth part; except the land of
the priests only, which became not
Pharaoh’s.
01-49:24 But
his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
01-49:33 And
when Jacob had made an end of commanding his
sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was
gathered unto his people.
01-50:5 My
father made me swear, saying, Lo, I die: in my
grave which I have digged for me in the land of Canaan, there shalt thou bury
me. Now therefore let me go up, I pray thee, and bury my father, and I will
come again.
01-50:6 And
Pharaoh said, Go up, and bury thy father, according as he made thee swear.
01-50:10 And
they came to the threshingfloor of Atad, which is beyond Jordan, and there they mourned with a great and very sore
lamentation: and he made a mourning for his
father seven days.
02-1:13 And
the Egyptians made the children of Israel to
serve with rigour:
02-1:14 And
they made their lives bitter with hard bondage,
in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their
service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.
02-1:21 And
it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.
02-2:14 And
he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over
us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared,
and said, Surely this thing is known.
02-4:11 And
the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man’s
mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I
the LORD?
02-5:21 And
they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh,
and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.
02-7:1 And
the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee
a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.
02-9:20 He
that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:
02-14:6 And
he made ready his chariot, and took his people
with him:
02-14:21 And
Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that
night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
02-15:17 Thou
shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made
for thee to dwell in, in the
Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands
have established.
02-15:25 And
he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made
for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,
02-16:31 And
the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
02-18:25 And
Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made
them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of
fifties, and rulers of tens.
02-20:11 For
in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day:
wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
02-24:8 And
Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on
the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.
02-25:31 And
thou shalt make a candlestick of pure
gold: of beaten work shall the
candlestick be made: his shaft, and his
branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
02-25:33 Three
bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch;
and three bowls made like almonds in the other
branch, with a knop and a flower: so
in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.
02-25:34 And
in the candlestick shall be four
bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.
02-26:31 And
thou shalt make a vail of blue, and
purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims
shall it be made:
02-29:18 And
thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt offering unto the LORD: it is a sweet savour, an offering made
by fire unto the LORD.
02-29:25 And
thou shalt receive them of their hands, and burn them upon the altar for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour before
the LORD: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
02-29:33 And
they shall eat those things wherewith the atonement was made, to consecrate and to
sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat thereof,
because they are holy.
02-29:36 And
thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a
sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to
sanctify it.
02-29:41 And
the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the
meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for
a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto
the LORD.
02-30:20 When
they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water,
that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn
offering made by fire unto the LORD:
02-31:17 It
is a sign between me and the children
of Israel for ever: for in six days
the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the
seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
02-31:18 And
he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of
communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone,
written with the finger of God.
02-32:4 And
he received them at their hand, and
fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made
it a molten calf: and they said, These be
thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
02-32:5 And
when Aaron saw it, he built an altar
before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and
said, To morrow is a feast to the
LORD.
02-32:8 They
have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and
have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be
thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
02-32:20 And
he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
02-32:25 And
when Moses saw that the people were naked;
(for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)
02-32:31 And
Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great
sin, and have made them gods of gold.
02-32:35 And
the LORD plagued the people, because they made
the calf, which Aaron made.
02-34:8 And
Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the
earth, and worshipped.
02-34:27 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these
words I have made a covenant with thee and with
Israel.
02-35:21 And
they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and
they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the
congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.
02-35:29 The
children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and
woman, whose heart made them willing to bring
for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.
02-36:4 And
all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man
from his work which they made;
02-36:8 And
every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of
fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made
he them.
02-36:11 And
he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain
from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made
in the uttermost side of another curtain,
in the coupling of the second.
02-36:12 Fifty
loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain which was in the coupling of the second: the
loops held one curtain to another.
02-36:13 And
he made fifty taches of gold, and coupled the
curtains one unto another with the taches: so it became one tabernacle.
02-36:14 And
he made curtains of goats’ hair for the
tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made
them.
02-36:17 And
he made fifty loops upon the uttermost edge of
the curtain in the coupling, and fifty loops made
he upon the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.
02-36:18 And
he made fifty taches of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.
02-36:19 And
he made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers’ skins above that.
02-36:20 And
he made boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood, standing up.
02-36:23 And
he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards
for the south side southward:
02-36:24 And
forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty
boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under
another board for his two tenons.
02-36:25 And
for the other side of the tabernacle, which
is toward the north corner, he made twenty
boards,
02-36:27 And
for the sides of the tabernacle westward he made
six boards.
02-36:28 And
two boards made he for the corners of the
tabernacle in the two sides.
02-36:31 And
he made bars of shittim wood; five for the
boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
02-36:33 And
he made the middle bar to shoot through the
boards from the one end to the other.
02-36:34 And
he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their
rings of gold to be places for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.
02-36:35 And
he made a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubims made
he it of cunning work.
02-36:36 And
he made thereunto four pillars of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.
02-36:37 And
he made an hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and
fine twined linen, of needlework;
02-37:1 And
Bezaleel made the ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and
a cubit and a half the height of it:
02-37:2 And
he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made
a crown of gold to it round about.
02-37:4 And
he made staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
02-37:6 And
he made the mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth
thereof.
02-37:7 And
he made two cherubims of gold, beaten out of one piece made
he them, on the two ends of the mercy seat;
02-37:8 One
cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub on the other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
02-37:10 And
he made the table of shittim wood: two cubits was
the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half
the height thereof:
02-37:11 And
he overlaid it with pure gold, and made
thereunto a crown of gold round about.
02-37:12 Also
he made thereunto a border of an handbreadth
round about; and made a crown of gold for the
border thereof round about.
02-37:15 And
he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table.
02-37:16 And
he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and
his covers to cover withal, of pure
gold.
02-37:17 And
he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten
work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his
branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same:
02-37:19 Three
bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one
branch, a knop and a flower; and three bowls made
like almonds in another branch, a knop and a flower: so throughout the six
branches going out of the candlestick.
02-37:20 And
in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers:
02-37:23 And
he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and
his snuffdishes, of pure gold.
02-37:24 Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.
02-37:25 And
he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same.
02-37:26 And
he overlaid it with pure gold, both the
top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
02-37:27 And
he made two rings of gold for it under the crown
thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for
the staves to bear it withal.
02-37:28 And
he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
02-37:29 And
he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure
incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the apothecary.
02-38:1 And
he made the altar of burnt offering of shittim wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits
the breadth thereof; it was foursquare;
and three cubits the height thereof.
02-38:2 And
he made the horns thereof on the four corners of
it; the horns thereof were of the same: and he overlaid it with brass.
02-38:3 And
he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots,
and the shovels, and the basons, and the
fleshhooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made
he of brass.
02-38:4 And
he made for the altar a brasen grate of network
under the compass thereof beneath unto the midst of it.
02-38:6 And
he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with brass.
02-38:7 And
he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it withal;
he made the altar hollow with boards.
02-38:8 And
he made the laver of brass, and the foot of it of
brass, of the lookingglasses of the
women assembling, which assembled at the
door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
02-38:9 And
he made the court: on the south side southward
the hangings of the court were of fine
twined linen, an hundred cubits:
02-38:22 And
Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the LORD commanded Moses.
02-38:28 And
of the thousand seven hundred seventy and five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their
chapiters, and filleted them.
02-38:30 And
therewith he made the sockets to the door of the
tabernacle of the congregation, and the brasen altar, and the brasen grate for
it, and all the vessels of the altar,
02-39:1 And
of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made
cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments
for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.
02-39:2 And
he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
02-39:4 They
made shoulderpieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it
coupled together.
02-39:8 And
he made the breastplate of cunning work, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
02-39:9 It
was foursquare; they made the breastplate
double: a span was the length
thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being
doubled.
02-39:15 And
they made upon the breastplate chains at the
ends, of wreathen work of pure gold.
02-39:16 And
they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends
of the breastplate.
02-39:19 And
they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate,
upon the border of it, which was on
the side of the ephod inward.
02-39:20 And
they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod
underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
02-39:22 And
he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.
02-39:24 And
they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates
of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.
02-39:25 And
they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the
hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;
02-39:27 And
they made coats of fine linen of woven
work for Aaron, and for his sons,
02-39:30 And
they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a
writing, like to the engravings of a
signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
02-39:42 According
to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
03-1:9 But
his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all
on the altar, to be a burnt
sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet
savour unto the LORD.
03-1:13 But
he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a
burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a
sweet savour unto the LORD.
03-1:17 And
he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, but
shall not divide it asunder: and
the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
03-2:2 And
he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his
handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense
thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD:
03-2:3 And
the remnant of the meat offering shall be
Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a
thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made
by fire.
03-2:7 And
if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in the fryingpan, it shall be made of fine
flour with oil.
03-2:8 And
thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made
of these things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto the priest, he
shall bring it unto the altar.
03-2:9 And
the priest shall take from the meat offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn
it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
03-2:10 And
that which is left of the meat offering shall
be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a
thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made
by fire.
03-2:11 No
meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any
honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.
03-2:16 And
the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part
of the beaten corn thereof, and part of
the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto
the LORD.
03-3:3 And
he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the
inwards, and all the fat that is upon
the inwards,
03-3:5 And
Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a
sweet savour unto the LORD.
03-3:9 And
he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off
hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat
that is upon the inwards,
03-3:11 And
the priest shall burn it upon the altar: it
is the food of the offering made by fire
unto the LORD.
03-3:14 And
he shall offer thereof his offering, even
an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the
fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
03-3:16 And
the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it
is the food of the offering made by fire for
a sweet savour: all the fat is the
LORD’S.
03-4:35 And
he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away
from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon
the altar, according to the offerings made by
fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he
hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
03-5:12 Then
shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the
offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.
03-6:17 It
shall not be baken with leaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most
holy, as is the sin offering, and as
the trespass offering.
03-6:18 All
the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the
offerings of the LORD made by fire: every one
that toucheth them shall be holy.
03-6:21 In
a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is baken, thou shalt bring
it in: and the baken pieces of the
meat offering shalt thou offer for a
sweet savour unto the LORD.
03-7:5 And
the priest shall burn them upon the altar for
an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a trespass offering.
03-7:25 For
whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
03-7:30 His
own hands shall bring the offerings of the LORD made
by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be
waved for a wave offering before the
LORD.
03-7:35 This
is the portion of the anointing of
Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest’s
office;
03-8:21 And
he washed the inwards and the legs in water; and Moses burnt the whole ram upon
the altar: it was a burnt sacrifice
for a sweet savour, and an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded
Moses.
03-8:28 And
Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar upon the burnt offering: they were consecrations for a sweet savour:
it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
03-10:12 And
Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were
left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the
altar: for it is most holy:
03-10:13 And
ye shall eat it in the holy place, because it is thy due, and thy sons’ due, of the sacrifices of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.
03-10:15 The
heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine, and
thy sons’ with thee, by a statute for ever; as the LORD hath commanded.
03-13:48 Whether
it be in the warp, or woof; of linen,
or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made
of skin;
03-13:51 And
he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the
garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin;
the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.
03-14:11 And
the priest that maketh him clean
shall present the man that is to be made clean,
and those things, before the LORD, at the
door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
03-14:36 Then
the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that
is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to
see the house:
03-16:17 And
there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to
make an atonement in the holy place, until
he come out, and have made an atonement for
himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
03-16:20 And
when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy
place, and the tabernacle of the
congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:
03-21:6 They
shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the
offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do
offer: therefore they shall be holy.
03-21:21 No
man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to
offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he
hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
03-22:5 Or
whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take
uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;
03-22:27 When
a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days
under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for
an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
03-23:8 But
ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the
LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an
holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-23:13 And
the meat offering thereof shall be two
tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for
a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part
of an hin.
03-23:18 And
ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year,
and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and
their drink offerings, even an
offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the
LORD.
03-23:25 Ye
shall do no servile work therein: but
ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the
LORD.
03-23:27 Also
on the tenth day of this seventh
month there shall be a day of
atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your
souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto
the LORD.
03-23:36 Seven
days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto
the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall
offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it
is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-23:37 These
are the feasts of the LORD, which ye
shall proclaim to be holy
convocations, to offer an offering made by fire
unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink
offerings, every thing upon his day:
03-23:43 That
your generations may know that I made the
children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of
Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
03-24:7 And
thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each
row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto
the LORD.
03-24:9 And
it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for
it is most holy unto him of the
offerings of the LORD made by fire by a
perpetual statute.
03-26:13 I
am the LORD your God, which brought
you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I
have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you
go upright.
03-26:46 These
are the statutes and judgments and
laws, which the LORD made between him and the
children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
04-4:15 And
when Aaron and his sons have made an end of
covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to
set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of
Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-4:26 And
the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the
court, which is by the tabernacle and
by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their
service, and all that is made for them: so shall
they serve.
04-5:8 But
if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be
recompensed unto the LORD, even to
the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.
04-5:27 And
when he hath made her to drink the water, then
it shall come to pass, that, if she
be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that
causeth the curse shall enter into her, and
become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the
woman shall be a curse among her people.
04-6:4 All
the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.
04-8:4 And
this work of the candlestick was of beaten
gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had
shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.
04-8:21 And
the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered
them as an offering before the LORD;
and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse
them.
04-11:8 And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in
a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste
of fresh oil.
04-14:36 And
the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by
bringing up a slander upon the land,
04-15:10 And
thou shalt bring for a drink offering half an hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a
sweet savour unto the LORD.
04-15:13 All
that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in
offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet
savour unto the LORD.
04-15:14 And
if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye
do, so he shall do.
04-15:25 And
the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of
Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin offering
before the LORD, for their ignorance:
04-16:31 And
it came to pass, as he had made an end of
speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
04-16:39 And
Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had
offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:
04-16:47 And
Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and,
behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
04-18:17 But
the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a
goat, thou shalt not redeem; they are holy:
thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat for an offering made
by fire, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
04-20:5 And
wherefore have ye made us to come up out of
Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates;
neither is there any water to drink.
04-21:9 And
Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a
pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld
the serpent of brass, he lived.
04-25:13 And
he shall have it, and his seed after him, even
the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his
God, and made an atonement for the children of
Israel.
04-28:2 Command
the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made
by fire, for a sweet savour unto me,
shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.
04-28:3 And
thou shalt say unto them, This is the
offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto
the LORD; two lambs of the first year without spot day by day, for a continual burnt offering.
04-28:6 It is a continual burnt offering, which
was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.
04-28:8 And
the other lamb shalt thou offer at even: as the meat offering of the morning,
and as the drink offering thereof, thou shalt offer it, a sacrifice made by fire, of a
sweet savour unto the LORD.
04-28:13 And
a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a meat offering unto one lamb; for a burnt offering of a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.
04-28:19 But
ye shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for a burnt offering unto the LORD; two
young bullocks, and one ram, and seven lambs of the first year: they shall be
unto you without blemish:
04-28:24 After
this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the
sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto
the LORD: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his
drink offering.
04-29:6 Beside
the burnt offering of the month, and his meat offering, and the daily burnt
offering, and his meat offering, and their drink offerings, according unto
their manner, for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made
by fire unto the LORD.
04-29:13 And
ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made
by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year;
they shall be without blemish:
04-29:36 But
ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made
by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: one bullock, one ram, seven lambs of
the first year without blemish:
04-30:12 But
if her husband hath utterly made them void on
the day he heard them; then whatsoever
proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her
soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them
void; and the LORD shall forgive her.
04-31:20 And
purify all your raiment, and all that
is made of skins, and all work of goats’ hair, and all things made of wood.
04-32:13 And
the LORD’S anger was kindled against Israel, and he made
them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had
done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.
05-1:15 So
I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and
captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and
officers among your tribes.
05-2:30 But
Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God
hardened his spirit, and made his heart
obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.
05-4:23 Take
heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which
he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath
forbidden thee.
05-4:36 Out
of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that
he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou
heardest his words out of the midst of the fire.
05-5:2 The
LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.
05-5:3 The
LORD made not this covenant with our fathers,
but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.
05-9:9 When
I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which
the LORD made with you, then I abode in the
mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water:
05-9:12 And
the LORD said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people
which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I
commanded them; they have made them a molten
image.
05-9:16 And
I looked, and, behold, ye had sinned against the LORD your God, and had made
you a molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which the LORD
had commanded you.
05-9:21 And
I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and
burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground
it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof
into the brook that descended out of the mount.
05-10:3 And
I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first,
and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.
05-10:5 And
I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark
which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD
commanded me.
05-10:22 Thy
fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD
thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven
for multitude.
05-11:4 And
what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots;
how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow
them as they pursued after you, and how the
LORD hath destroyed them unto this day;
05-18:1 The
priests the Levites, and all the
tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat
the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and his
inheritance.
05-20:9 And
it shall be, when the officers have made an end
of speaking unto the people, that they shall make captains of the armies to
lead the people.
05-26:12 When
thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes
of thine increase the third year, which
is the year of tithing, and hast given it
unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may
eat within thy gates, and be filled;
05-26:19 And
to make thee high above all nations which he hath made,
in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto
the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.
05-29:1 These
are the words of the covenant, which
the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of
Moab, beside the covenant which he made with
them in Horeb.
05-29:25 Then
men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their
fathers, which he made with them when he brought
them forth out of the land of Egypt:
05-31:16 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this
people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the
land, whither they go to be among
them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.
05-31:24 And
it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of
writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,
05-32:6 Do
ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath
bought thee? hath he not made thee, and
established thee?
05-32:13 He
made him ride on the high places of the earth,
that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made
him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;
05-32:15 But
Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou
art covered with fatness; then he
forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his
salvation.
05-32:45 And
Moses made an end of speaking all these words to
all Israel:
06-2:17 And
the men said unto her, We will be blameless
of this thine oath which thou hast made us
swear.
06-2:20 And
if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou
hast made us to swear.
06-5:3 And
Joshua made him sharp knives, and circumcised
the children of Israel at the hill of the foreskins.
06-8:15 And
Joshua and all Israel made as if they were
beaten before them, and fled by the way of the wilderness.
06-8:24 And
it came to pass, when Israel had made an end of
slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field, in the wilderness wherein they
chased them, and when they were all fallen on the edge of the sword, until they
were consumed, that all the Israelites returned unto Ai, and smote it with the
edge of the sword.
06-8:28 And
Joshua burnt Ai, and made it an heap for ever, even a desolation unto this day.
06-9:4 They
did work wilily, and went and made as if they
had been ambassadors, and took old sacks upon their asses, and wine bottles,
old, and rent, and bound up;
06-9:15 And
Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the
princes of the congregation sware unto them.
06-9:16 And
it came to pass at the end of three days after they had made a league with them, that they heard that they were their neighbours, and that they dwelt among them.
06-9:27 And
Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and
drawers of water for the congregation, and for the altar of the LORD, even unto
this day, in the place which he should choose.
06-10:1 Now
it came to pass, when Adonizedec king of Jerusalem had heard how Joshua had
taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king,
so he had done to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them;
06-10:4 Come
up unto me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of
Israel.
06-10:5 Therefore
the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the
king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves
together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon,
and made war against it.
06-10:20 And
it came to pass, when Joshua and the children of Israel had made an end of slaying them with a very great
slaughter, till they were consumed, that the rest which remained of them entered into fenced cities.
06-11:18 Joshua
made war a long time with all those kings.
06-11:19 There
was not a city that made peace with the children
of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all other they took in battle.
06-13:14 Only
unto the tribe of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God
of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said unto them.
06-14:8 Nevertheless
my brethren that went up with me made the heart
of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God.
06-19:49 When
they had made an end of dividing the land for
inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to
Joshua the son of Nun among them:
06-19:51 These
are the inheritances, which Eleazar
the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the
tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh
before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.
06-22:25 For
the LORD hath made Jordan a border between us
and you, ye children of Reuben and children of Gad; ye have no part in the
LORD: so shall your children make our children cease from fearing the LORD.
06-22:28 Therefore
said we, that it shall be, when they should so
say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say again, Behold the pattern of the altar
of the LORD, which our fathers made, not for
burnt offerings, nor for sacrifices; but it is
a witness between us and you.
06-24:25 So
Joshua made a covenant with the people that day,
and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.
07-2:1 And
an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you
unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break
my covenant with you.
07-3:16 But
Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a
cubit length; and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh.
07-3:18 And
when he had made an end to offer the present, he
sent away the people that bare the present.
07-5:13 Then
he made him that remaineth have dominion over
the nobles among the people: the LORD made me
have dominion over the mighty.
07-6:2 And
the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.
07-6:19 And
Gideon went in, and made ready a kid, and
unleavened cakes of an ephah of flour: the flesh he put in a basket, and he put
the broth in a pot, and brought it out
unto him under the oak, and presented it.
07-8:27 And
Gideon made an ephod thereof, and put it in his
city, even in Ophrah: and all Israel
went thither a whoring after it: which thing became a snare unto Gideon, and to
his house.
07-8:33 And
it came to pass, as soon as Gideon was dead, that the children of Israel turned
again, and went a whoring after Baalim, and made
Baalberith their god.
07-9:6 And
all the men of Shechem gathered together, and all the house of Millo, and went,
and made Abimelech king, by the plain of the
pillar that was in Shechem.
07-9:16 Now
therefore, if ye have done truly and sincerely, in that ye have made Abimelech king, and if ye have dealt well with
Jerubbaal and his house, and have done unto him according to the deserving of
his hands;
07-9:18 And
ye are risen up against my father’s house this day, and have slain his sons,
threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and have made
Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem, because he
is your brother;)
07-9:27 And
they went out into the fields, and gathered their vineyards, and trode the grapes, and made
merry, and went into the house of their god, and did eat and drink, and cursed
Abimelech.
07-11:4 And
it came to pass in process of time, that the children of Ammon made war against Israel.
07-11:5 And
it was so, that when the children of Ammon made
war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land
of Tob:
07-11:11 Then
Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and captain over them: and Jephthah uttered all his
words before the LORD in Mizpeh.
07-13:10 And
the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her
husband, and said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came
unto me the other day.
07-13:15 And
Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, I pray thee, let us detain thee, until
we shall have made ready a kid for thee.
07-14:10 So
his father went down unto the woman: and Samson made
there a feast; for so used the young men to do.
07-15:17 And
it came to pass, when he had made an end of
speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place
Ramathlehi.
07-16:19 And
she made him sleep upon her knees; and she
called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head;
and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.
07-16:25 And
it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson,
that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house;
and he made them sport: and they set him between
the pillars.
07-16:27 Now
the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that
beheld while Samson made sport.
07-17:4 Yet
he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the
founder, who made thereof a graven image and a
molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.
07-17:5 And
the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an
ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
07-18:24 And
he said, Ye have taken away my gods which I made,
and the priest, and ye are gone away: and what have I more? and what is this that ye say unto me, What aileth thee?
07-18:27 And
they took the things which Micah had made, and the priest which he had, and came unto
Laish, unto a people that were at
quiet and secure: and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the
city with fire.
07-18:31 And
they set them up Micah’s graven image, which he made,
all the time that the house of God was in Shiloh.
07-21:5 And
the children of Israel said, Who is there
among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the congregation unto
the LORD? For they had made a great oath
concerning him that came not up to the LORD to Mizpeh, saying, He shall surely
be put to death.
07-21:15 And
the people repented them for Benjamin, because that the LORD had made a breach in the tribes of Israel.
09-2:19 Moreover
his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she
came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.
09-2:28 And
did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear
an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the
offerings made by fire of the children of
Israel?
09-3:13 For
I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he
knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile,
and he restrained them not.
09-4:18 And
it came to pass, when he made mention of the ark
of God, that he fell from off the seat backward by the side of the gate, and
his neck brake, and he died: for he was an old man, and heavy. And he had
judged Israel forty years.
09-8:1 And
it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made
his sons judges over Israel.
09-9:22 And
Samuel took Saul and his servant, and brought them into the parlour, and made them sit in the chiefest place among them that
were bidden, which were about thirty
persons.
09-10:13 And
when he had made an end of prophesying, he came
to the high place.
09-11:15 And
all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made
Saul king before the LORD in Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of
peace offerings before the LORD; and there Saul and all the men of Israel
rejoiced greatly.
09-12:1 And
Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all
that ye said unto me, and have made a king over
you.
09-12:8 When
Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD
sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place.
09-13:10 And
it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an
end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to
meet him, that he might salute him.
09-13:12 Therefore
said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself
therefore, and offered a burnt offering.
09-14:14 And
that first slaughter, which Jonathan and his armourbearer made, was about twenty men, within as it were an half
acre of land, which a yoke of oxen might plow.
09-15:17 And
Samuel said, When thou wast little in
thine own sight, wast thou not made the
head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?
09-15:33 And
Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women
childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag
in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.
09-15:35 And
Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel
mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made
Saul king over Israel.
09-16:8 Then
Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before
Samuel. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.
09-16:9 Then
Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said,
Neither hath the LORD chosen this.
09-16:10 Again,
Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before
Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD hath not chosen these.
09-18:1 And
it came to pass, when he had made an end of
speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David,
and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.
09-18:3 Then
Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he
loved him as his own soul.
09-18:13 Therefore
Saul removed him from him, and made him his
captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people.
09-20:16 So
Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, Let the LORD even require it at the hand of David’s enemies.
09-22:8 That
all of you have conspired against me, and there
is none that sheweth me that my son hath made
a league with the son of Jesse, and there
is none of you that is sorry for me, or sheweth unto me that my son hath
stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
09-23:18 And
they two made a covenant before the LORD: and
David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.
09-23:26 And
Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of
the mountain: and David made haste to get away
for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men compassed David and his men round about
to take them.
09-24:16 And
it came to pass, when David had made an end of
speaking these words unto Saul, that Saul said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And Saul lifted up his voice, and
wept.
09-25:18 Then
Abigail made haste, and took two hundred loaves,
and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of
parched corn, and an hundred clusters
of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on asses.
09-27:10 And
Achish said, Whither have ye made a road to day?
And David said, Against the south of Judah, and against the south of the
Jerahmeelites, and against the south of the Kenites.
09-27:12 And
Achish believed David, saying, He hath made his
people Israel utterly to abhor him; therefore he shall be my servant for ever.
09-30:11 And
they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him
bread, and he did eat; and they made him drink
water;
09-30:14 We
made an invasion upon the south of the Cherethites, and upon the coast which belongeth to
Judah, and upon the south of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire.
09-30:21 And
David came to the two hundred men, which were so faint that they could not
follow David, whom they had made also to abide
at the brook Besor: and they went forth to meet David, and to meet the people
that were with him: and when David
came near to the people, he saluted them.
09-30:25 And
it was so from that day forward, that
he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel
unto this day.
10-2:9 And
made him king over Gilead, and over the
Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin, and over all
Israel.
10-3:6 And
it came to pass, while there was war between the house of Saul and the house of
David, that Abner made himself strong for the
house of Saul.
10-3:20 So
Abner came to David to Hebron, and twenty men with him. And David made Abner and the men that were with him a feast.
10-4:4 And
Jonathan, Saul’s son, had a son that was lame
of his feet. He was five years old
when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse took
him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made
haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth.
10-5:3 So
all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and
they anointed David king over Israel.
10-6:5 And
David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made
of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on
cornets, and on cymbals.
10-6:8 And
David was displeased, because the LORD had made
a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this
day.
10-6:18 And
as soon as David had made an end of offering
burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the
LORD of hosts.
10-7:9 And
I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies
out of thy sight, and have made thee a great
name, like unto the name of the great men
that are in the earth.
10-10:19 And
when all the kings that were servants
to Hadarezer saw that they were smitten before Israel, they made peace with Israel, and served them. So the Syrians
feared to help the children of Ammon any more.
10-11:13 And
when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his
bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.
10-11:19 And
charged the messenger, saying, When thou hast made
an end of telling the matters of the war unto the king,
10-12:31 And
he brought forth the people that were therein,
and put them under saws, and under harrows
of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them
pass through the brickkiln: and thus did he unto all the cities of the children
of Ammon. So David and all the people returned unto Jerusalem.
10-13:6 So
Amnon lay down, and made himself sick: and when
the king was come to see him, Amnon said unto the king, I pray thee, let Tamar
my sister come, and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat at
her hand.
10-13:8 So
Tamar went to her brother Amnon’s house; and he was laid down. And she took flour,
and kneaded it, and made cakes in his sight, and did bake the cakes.
10-13:10 And
Amnon said unto Tamar, Bring the meat into the chamber, that I may eat of thine
hand. And Tamar took the cakes which she had made,
and brought them into the chamber to
Amnon her brother.
10-13:36 And
it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end
of speaking, that, behold, the king’s sons came, and lifted up their voice and
wept: and the king also and all his servants wept very sore.
10-14:15 Now
therefore that I am come to speak of this thing unto my lord the king, it is because the people have made me afraid: and thy handmaid said, I will now
speak unto the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his
handmaid.
10-15:4 Absalom
said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the
land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I
would do him justice!
10-17:25 And
Absalom made Amasa captain of the host instead
of Joab: which Amasa was a man’s son,
whose name was Ithra an Israelite,
that went in to Abigail the daughter of Nahash, sister to Zeruiah Joab’s
mother.
10-22:5 When
the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
10-22:12 And
he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark
waters, and thick clouds of the
skies.
10-22:36 Thou
hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
10-23:5 Although
my house be not so with God; yet he
hath made with me an everlasting covenant,
ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it not to grow.
11-1:41 And
Adonijah and all the guests that were with
him heard it as they had made an end of eating. And when Joab heard the sound
of the trumpet, he said, Wherefore is
this noise of the city being in an uproar?
11-1:43 And
Jonathan answered and said to Adonijah, Verily our lord king David hath made Solomon king.
11-2:24 Now
therefore, as the LORD liveth, which
hath established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who hath made me an house, as he promised, Adonijah shall be
put to death this day.
11-3:1 And
Solomon made affinity with Pharaoh king of
Egypt, and took Pharaoh’s daughter, and brought her into the city of David,
until he had made an end of building his own
house, and the house of the LORD, and the wall of Jerusalem round about.
11-3:7 And
now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant
king instead of David my father: and I am
but a little child: I know not how to
go out or come in.
11-3:15 And
Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a
dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of
the LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.
11-4:7 And
Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the
king and his household: each man his month in a year made
provision.
11-5:12 And
the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between
Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league
together.
11-6:4 And
for the house he made windows of narrow lights.
11-6:5 And
against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the walls of the house round
about, both of the temple and of the
oracle: and he made chambers round about:
11-6:6 The
nethermost chamber was five cubits
broad, and the middle was six cubits
broad, and the third was seven cubits
broad: for without in the wall of the
house he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not be fastened in the
walls of the house.
11-6:7 And
the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made
ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor ax nor any tool of iron heard in the house,
while it was in building.
11-6:21 So
Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the
oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.
11-6:23 And
within the oracle he made two cherubims of olive tree, each ten cubits high.
11-6:31 And
for the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive tree: the lintel and side posts were a fifth part of the
wall.
11-6:33 So
also made he for the door of the temple posts of olive tree, a fourth part of the wall.
11-7:6 And
he made a porch of pillars; the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth
thereof thirty cubits: and the porch was before
them: and the other pillars and the
thick beam were before them.
11-7:7 Then
he made a porch for the throne where he might
judge, even the porch of judgment:
and it was covered with cedar from
one side of the floor to the other.
11-7:8 And
his house where he dwelt had another
court within the porch, which was of
the like work. Solomon made also an house for
Pharaoh’s daughter, whom he had taken to
wife, like unto this porch.
11-7:16 And
he made two chapiters of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars: the height of
the one chapiter was five cubits, and
the height of the other chapiter was five
cubits:
11-7:18 And
he made the pillars, and two rows round about
upon the one network, to cover the chapiters that were upon the top, with pomegranates: and so did he for the other
chapiter.
11-7:23 And
he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one
brim to the other: it was round all about,
and his height was five cubits: and a
line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
11-7:27 And
he made ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four
cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it.
11-7:29 And
on the borders that were between the
ledges were lions, oxen, and
cherubims: and upon the ledges there was a
base above: and beneath the lions and oxen were
certain additions made of thin work.
11-7:37 After
this manner he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one
measure, and one size.
11-7:38 Then
made he ten lavers of brass: one laver contained
forty baths: and every laver was four
cubits: and upon every one of the ten
bases one laver.
11-7:40 And
Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the
basons. So Hiram made an end of doing all the
work that he made king Solomon for the house of
the LORD:
11-7:45 And
the pots, and the shovels, and the basons: and all these vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, were of bright brass.
11-7:48 And
Solomon made all the vessels that pertained unto the house of the LORD:
the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread was,
11-7:51 So
was ended all the work that king Solomon made
for the house of the LORD. And Solomon brought in the things which David his
father had dedicated; even the
silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the
house of the LORD.
11-8:9 There was nothing in the ark save the two
tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with
the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
11-8:21 And
I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, which he made
with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.
11-8:38 What
prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague
of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:
11-8:54 And
it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and
supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from
kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.
11-8:59 And
let these my words, wherewith I have made
supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that
he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all
times, as the matter shall require:
11-9:3 And
the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou
hast made before me: I have hallowed this house,
which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine
heart shall be there perpetually.
11-9:26 And
king Solomon made a navy of ships in Eziongeber,
which is beside Eloth, on the shore
of the Red sea, in the land of Edom.
11-10:9 Blessed
be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of
Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.
11-10:12 And
the king made of the almug trees pillars for the
house of the LORD, and for the king’s house, harps also and psalteries for
singers: there came no such almug trees, nor were seen unto this day.
11-10:16 And
king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of gold went to one target.
11-10:17 And
he made three
hundred shields of beaten gold; three
pound of gold went to one shield: and the king put them in the house of the forest
of Lebanon.
11-10:18 Moreover
the king made a great throne of ivory, and
overlaid it with the best gold.
11-10:20 And
twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps:
there was not the like made in any kingdom.
11-10:27 And
the king made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made
he to be as the sycomore trees that are in the vale, for abundance.
11-11:28 And
the man Jeroboam was a mighty man of
valour: and Solomon seeing the young man that he was industrious, he made him ruler over all the charge of the house of
Joseph.
11-12:4 Thy
father made our yoke grievous: now therefore
make thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke which he put
upon us, lighter, and we will serve thee.
11-12:10 And
the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt
thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say
unto them, My little finger shall be
thicker than my father’s loins.
11-12:14 And
spake to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my
father also chastised you with whips,
but I will chastise you with scorpions.
11-12:18 Then
king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over
the tribute; and all Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. Therefore
king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his
chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
11-12:20 And
it came to pass, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again, that they
sent and called him unto the congregation, and made
him king over all Israel: there was none that followed the house of David, but
the tribe of Judah only.
11-12:28 Whereupon
the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too
much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought
thee up out of the land of Egypt.
11-12:31 And
he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were
not of the sons of Levi.
11-12:32 And
Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the
month, like unto the feast that is in
Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the
calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel
the priests of the high places which he had made.
11-12:33 So
he offered upon the altar which he had made in
Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and
ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar,
and burnt incense.
11-13:33 After
this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places:
whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places.
11-14:7 Go,
tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee
from among the people, and made thee prince over
my people Israel,
11-14:9 But
hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images, to provoke me
to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:
11-14:15 For
the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall
root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall
scatter them beyond the river, because they have made
their groves, provoking the LORD to anger.
11-14:16 And
he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who did sin, and who made Israel to sin.
11-14:26 And
he took away the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s
house; he even took away all: and he took away all the shields of gold which
Solomon had made.
11-14:27 And
king Rehoboam made in their stead brasen
shields, and committed them unto the
hands of the chief of the guard, which kept the door of the king’s house.
11-15:12 And
he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his
fathers had made.
11-15:13 And
also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an
idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.
11-15:22 Then
king Asa made a proclamation throughout all
Judah; none was exempted: and they
took away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha had
builded; and king Asa built with them Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.
11-15:26 And
he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and
in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin.
11-15:30 Because
of the sins of Jeroboam which he sinned, and which he made
Israel sin, by his provocation wherewith he provoked the LORD God of Israel to
anger.
11-15:34 And
he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of Jeroboam, and in
his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin.
11-16:2 Forasmuch
as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee
prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and
hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me
to anger with their sins;
11-16:13 For
all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, by which they sinned, and
by which they made Israel to sin, in provoking
the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.
11-16:16 And
the people that were encamped heard
say, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slain the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel
that day in the camp.
11-16:26 For
he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith
he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God
of Israel to anger with their vanities.
11-16:33 And
Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke
the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before
him.
11-18:26 And
they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from
morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the
altar which was made.
11-18:32 And
with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would
contain two measures of seed.
11-20:34 And
Benhadad said unto him, The cities,
which my father took from thy father, I will restore; and thou shalt make
streets for thee in Damascus, as my father made
in Samaria. Then said Ahab, I will
send thee away with this covenant. So he made a
covenant with him, and sent him away.
11-21:22 And
will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the
house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast
provoked me to anger, and made Israel to sin.
11-22:11 And
Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of
iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians,
until thou have consumed them.
11-22:39 Now
the rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that he did, and the ivory house which he
made, and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the book of the
chronicles of the kings of Israel?
11-22:44 And
Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel.
11-22:48 Jehoshaphat
made ships of Tharshish to go to Ophir for gold:
but they went not; for the ships were broken at Eziongeber.
11-22:52 And
he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and
in the way of his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin:
12-3:2 And
he wrought evil in the sight of the LORD; but not like his father, and like his
mother: for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made.
12-3:3 Nevertheless
he cleaved unto the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.
12-7:6 For
the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to
hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo,
the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the
kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.
12-8:20 In
his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and made a king over themselves.
12-9:21 And
Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made
ready. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his
chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth
the Jezreelite.
12-10:16 And
he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot.
12-10:25 And
it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end
of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the
captains, Go in, and slay them; let
none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard
and the captains cast them out, and
went to the city of the house of Baal.
12-10:27 And
they brake down the image of Baal, and brake down the house of Baal, and made it a draught house unto this day.
12-10:29 Howbeit
from the sins of Jeroboam the son of
Nebat, who made Israel to sin, Jehu departed not
from after them, to wit, the golden
calves that were in Bethel, and that were in Dan.
12-10:31 But
Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD God of Israel with all his
heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.
12-11:4 And
the seventh year Jehoiada sent and fetched the rulers over hundreds, with the
captains and the guard, and brought them to him into the house of the LORD, and
made a covenant with them, and took an oath of
them in the house of the LORD, and shewed them the king’s son.
12-11:12 And
he brought forth the king’s son, and put the crown upon him, and gave him the testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped
their hands, and said, God save the king.
12-11:17 And
Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and
the king and the people, that they should be the LORD’S people; between the
king also and the people.
12-12:13 Howbeit
there were not made for the house of the LORD
bowls of silver, snuffers, basons, trumpets, any vessels of gold, or vessels of
silver, of the money that was brought
into the house of the LORD:
12-12:20 And
his servants arose, and made a conspiracy, and
slew Joash in the house of Millo, which goeth down to Silla.
12-13:2 And
he did that which was evil in the sight
of the LORD, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.
12-13:6 Nevertheless
they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who made Israel sin, but
walked therein: and there remained the grove also in Samaria.)
12-13:7 Neither
did he leave of the people to Jehoahaz but fifty horsemen, and ten chariots,
and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Syria had destroyed them, and had made them like the dust by threshing.
12-13:11 And
he did that which was evil in the
sight of the LORD; he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of
Nebat, who made Israel sin: but he walked therein.
12-14:19 Now
they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem:
and he fled to Lachish; but they sent after him to Lachish, and slew him there.
12-14:21 And
all the people of Judah took Azariah, which was
sixteen years old, and made him king instead
of his father Amaziah.
12-14:24 And
he did that which was evil in the
sight of the LORD: he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of
Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
12-15:9 And
he did that which was evil in the
sight of the LORD, as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of
Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to
sin.
12-15:15 And
the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are
written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
12-15:18 And
he did that which was evil in the
sight of the LORD: he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the
son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
12-15:24 And
he did that which was evil in the
sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat,
who made Israel to sin.
12-15:28 And
he did that which was evil in the
sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat,
who made Israel to sin.
12-15:30 And
Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against
Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his
stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
12-16:3 But
he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yea, and made
his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen,
whom the LORD cast out from before the children of Israel.
12-16:11 And
Urijah the priest built an altar according to all that king Ahaz had sent from
Damascus: so Urijah the priest made it against king Ahaz came from Damascus.
12-17:8 And
walked in the statutes of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out from before the
children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made.
12-17:15 And
they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made
with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and
they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged
them, that they should not do like them.
12-17:16 And
they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove,
and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.
12-17:19 Also
Judah kept not the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked in the
statutes of Israel which they made.
12-17:21 For
he rent Israel from the house of David; and they made
Jeroboam the son of Nebat king: and Jeroboam drave Israel from following the
LORD, and made them sin a great sin.
12-17:29 Howbeit
every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places
which the Samaritans had made, every nation in
their cities wherein they dwelt.
12-17:30 And
the men of Babylon made Succothbenoth, and the
men of Cuth made Nergal, and the men of Hamath made Ashima,
12-17:31 And
the Avites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the
Sepharvites burnt their children in fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the
gods of Sepharvaim.
12-17:32 So
they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of
the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the
houses of the high places.
12-17:35 With
whom the LORD had made a covenant, and charged
them, saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor
serve them, nor sacrifice to them:
12-17:38 And
the covenant that I have made with you ye shall
not forget; neither shall ye fear other gods.
12-18:4 He
removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and
brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made:
for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he
called it Nehushtan.
12-19:15 And
Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest
between the cherubims, thou art the
God, even thou alone, of all the
kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and
earth.
12-20:20 And
the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the
city, are they not written in the book
of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
12-21:3 For
he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and
he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove,
as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served
them.
12-21:6 And
he made his son pass through the fire, and
observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and
wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
12-21:7 And
he set a graven image of the grove that he had made
in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this
house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will
I put my name for ever:
12-21:11 Because
Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
12-21:16 Moreover
Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one
end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made
Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil
in the sight of the LORD.
12-21:24 And
the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and
the people of the land made Josiah his son king
in his stead.
12-22:7 Howbeit
there was no reckoning made with them of the
money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.
12-23:3 And
the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant
before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his
testimonies and his statutes with all their
heart and all their soul, to
perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the
people stood to the covenant.
12-23:4 And
the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second
order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the
LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal,
and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without
Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.
12-23:12 And
the altars that were on the top of
the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars which Manasseh had made
in the two courts of the house of the LORD, did the king beat down, and brake them down from thence, and cast the dust
of them into the brook Kidron.
12-23:15 Moreover
the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the
son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he brake
down, and burned the high place, and stamped
it small to powder, and burned the
grove.
12-23:19 And
all the houses also of the high places that were
in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had made to provoke the
LORD to anger, Josiah took away, and did to them according to all the acts
that he had done in Bethel.
12-23:30 And
his servants carried him in a chariot dead from Megiddo, and brought him to Jerusalem,
and buried him in his own sepulchre. And the people of the land took Jehoahaz
the son of Josiah, and anointed him, and made
him king in his father’s stead.
12-23:34 And
Pharaohnechoh made Eliakim the son of Josiah king
in the room of Josiah his father, and turned his name to Jehoiakim, and took
Jehoahaz away: and he came to Egypt, and died there.
12-24:13 And
he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the
treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which
Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of
the LORD, as the LORD had said.
12-24:17 And
the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father’s
brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
12-25:16 The
two pillars, one sea, and the bases which Solomon had made
for the house of the LORD; the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
12-25:22 And
as for the people that remained in
the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them
he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of
Shaphan, ruler.
12-25:23 And
when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of
Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, there came
to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son
of Careah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the
son of a Maachathite, they and their men.
13-5:10 And
in the days of Saul they made war with the
Hagarites, who fell by their hand: and they dwelt in their tents throughout all
the east land of Gilead.
13-5:19 And
they made war with the Hagarites, with Jetur,
and Nephish, and Nodab.
13-9:30 And
some of the sons of the priests made the ointment of the spices.
13-9:31 And
Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the
Korahite, had the set office over the things that were made
in the pans.
13-11:3 Therefore
came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD;
and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD by
Samuel.
13-12:18 Then
the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief
of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son
of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee,
and peace be to thine helpers; for
thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made
them captains of the band.
13-13:11 And
David was displeased, because the LORD had made
a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perezuzza to this day.
13-15:1 And
David made
him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and
pitched for it a tent.
13-15:13 For
because ye did it not at the first,
the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that
we sought him not after the due order.
13-16:2 And
when David had made an end of offering the burnt
offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the
LORD.
13-16:5 Asaph
the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and
Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and
with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;
13-16:16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
13-16:26 For
all the gods of the people are idols:
but the LORD made the heavens.
13-17:8 And
I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all
thine enemies from before thee, and have made
thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth.
13-18:8 Likewise
from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, brought David very much
brass, wherewith Solomon made the brasen sea,
and the pillars, and the vessels of brass.
13-19:6 And
when the children of Ammon saw that they had made
themselves odious to David, Hanun and the children of Ammon sent a thousand
talents of silver to hire them chariots and horsemen out of Mesopotamia, and
out of Syriamaachah, and out of Zobah.
13-19:19 And
when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before
Israel, they made peace with David, and became
his servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more.
13-21:29 For
the tabernacle of the LORD, which Moses made in
the wilderness, and the altar of the burnt offering, were at that season in the high place at Gibeon.
13-22:8 But
the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and
hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an
house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my
sight.
13-23:1 So
when David was old and full of days, he made
Solomon his son king over Israel.
13-23:5 Moreover
four thousand were porters; and four
thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made,
said David, to praise therewith.
13-26:10 Also
Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his
father made him the chief;)
13-26:32 And
his brethren, men of valour, were two
thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the
half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the
king.
13-28:2 Then
David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my
people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of
rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God,
and had made ready for the building:
13-28:19 All
this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all
the works of this pattern.
13-29:2 Now
I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made
of gold, and the silver for things of
silver, and the brass for things of
brass, the iron for things of iron,
and wood for things of wood; onyx
stones, and stones to be set,
glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones,
and marble stones in abundance.
13-29:5 The
gold for things of gold, and the
silver for things of silver, and for
all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his
service this day unto the LORD?
13-29:19 And
give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies,
and thy statutes, and to do all these
things, and to build the palace, for the
which I have made provision.
13-29:22 And
did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time,
and anointed him unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.
14-1:3 So
Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle
of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness.
14-1:5 Moreover
the brasen altar, that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of the LORD: and
Solomon and the congregation sought unto it.
14-1:8 And
Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and
hast made me to reign in his stead.
14-1:9 Now,
O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth
in multitude.
14-1:11 And
God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked
riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast
asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou
mayest judge my people, over whom I have made
thee king:
14-1:15 And
the king made silver and gold at Jerusalem as plenteous as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the vale for abundance.
14-2:11 Then
Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because
the LORD hath loved his people, he hath made
thee king over them.
14-2:12 Huram
said moreover, Blessed be the LORD
God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who
hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and
understanding, that might build an house for the LORD, and an house for his
kingdom.
14-3:8 And
he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the
house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it
with fine gold, amounting to six
hundred talents.
14-3:10 And
in the most holy house he made two cherubims of
image work, and overlaid them with gold.
14-3:14 And
he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought
cherubims thereon.
14-3:15 Also
he made before the house two pillars of thirty
and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was
on the top of each of them was five
cubits.
14-3:16 And
he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them
on the heads of the pillars; and made an
hundred pomegranates, and put them on
the chains.
14-4:1 Moreover
he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the
length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the
height thereof.
14-4:2 Also
he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to
brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of
thirty cubits did compass it round about.
14-4:6 He
made also ten lavers, and put five on the right
hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for
the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
14-4:7 And
he made ten candlesticks of gold according to
their form, and set them in the
temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
14-4:8 He
made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right
side, and five on the left. And he made an
hundred basons of gold.
14-4:9 Furthermore
he made the court of the priests, and the great
court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.
14-4:11 And
Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the
basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for
the house of God;
14-4:14 He
made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;
14-4:18 Thus
Solomon made all these vessels in great
abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.
14-4:19 And
Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden
altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;
14-4:21 And
the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold;
14-5:1 Thus
all the work that Solomon made for the house of
the LORD was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver,
and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house
of God.
14-5:10 There was nothing in the ark save the
two tables which Moses put therein at
Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of
Egypt.
14-6:11 And
in it have I put the ark, wherein is the
covenant of the LORD, that he made with the children
of Israel.
14-6:13 For
Solomon had made a brasen scaffold, of five
cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in
the midst of the court: and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees
before all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward
heaven,
14-6:29 Then what prayer or what supplication soever shall be made
of any man, or of all thy people Israel, when every one shall know his own sore
and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house:
14-6:40 Now,
my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent
unto the prayer that is made in this place.
14-7:1 Now
when Solomon had made an end of praying, the
fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices;
and the glory of the LORD filled the house.
14-7:6 And
the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of
musick of the LORD, which David the king had made
to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth
for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded
trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.
14-7:7 Moreover
Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt
offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which
Solomon had made was not able to receive the
burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.
14-7:9 And
in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly:
for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.
14-7:15 Now
mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in
this place.
14-9:8 Blessed
be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because
thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and
justice.
14-9:11 And
the king made of the algum trees terraces to the house of the LORD, and to the
king’s palace, and harps and psalteries for singers: and there were none such
seen before in the land of Judah.
14-9:15 And
king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of beaten gold went to one
target.
14-9:16 And
three hundred shields made he of beaten gold: three hundred shekels of gold went to one shield. And
the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.
14-9:17 Moreover
the king made a great throne of ivory, and
overlaid it with pure gold.
14-9:19 And
twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps.
There was not the like made in any kingdom.
14-9:27 And
the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and
cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the low plains in abundance.
14-10:4 Thy
father made our yoke grievous: now therefore
ease thou somewhat the grievous servitude of thy father, and his heavy yoke
that he put upon us, and we will serve thee.
14-10:10 And
the young men that were brought up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt
thou answer the people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it somewhat lighter for us; thus shalt
thou say unto them, My little finger shall
be thicker than my father’s loins.
14-10:14 And
answered them after the advice of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add thereto: my
father chastised you with whips, but I will
chastise you with scorpions.
14-10:18 Then
king Rehoboam sent Hadoram that was over
the tribute; and the children of Israel stoned him with stones, that he died.
But king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
14-11:12 And
in every several city he put shields
and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having
Judah and Benjamin on his side.
14-11:15 And
he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the
calves which he had made.
14-11:17 So
they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made
Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in
the way of David and Solomon.
14-11:22 And
Rehoboam made Abijah the son of Maachah the
chief, to be ruler among his
brethren: for he thought to make him
king.
14-12:9 So
Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, and took away the treasures of
the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house; he took all: he
carried away also the shields of gold which Solomon had made.
14-12:10 Instead
of which king Rehoboam made shields of brass,
and committed them to the hands of
the chief of the guard, that kept the entrance of the king’s house.
14-13:8 And
now ye think to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of
David; and ye be a great multitude,
and there are with you golden calves,
which Jeroboam made you for gods.
14-13:9 Have
ye not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites,
and have made you priests after the manner of
the nations of other lands? so that
whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them that are no gods.
14-15:16 And
also concerning Maachah the mother of
Asa the king, he removed her from being queen,
because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa
cut down her idol, and stamped it, and
burnt it at the brook Kidron.
14-16:14 And
they buried him in his own sepulchres, which he had made
for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was filled with
sweet odours and divers kinds of spices prepared
by the apothecaries’ art: and they made a very
great burning for him.
14-17:10 And
the fear of the LORD fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Judah, so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat.
14-18:10 And
Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made him horns
of iron, and said, Thus saith the LORD, With these thou shalt push Syria until
they be consumed.
14-20:23 For
the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir,
utterly to slay and destroy them: and
when they had made an end of the inhabitants of
Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
14-20:27 Then
they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the
forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies.
14-20:36 And
he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongaber.
14-21:7 Howbeit
the LORD would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he
had made with David, and as he promised to give
a light to him and to his sons for ever.
14-21:8 In
his days the Edomites revolted from under the dominion of Judah, and made themselves a king.
14-21:11 Moreover
he made high places in the mountains of Judah,
and caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit fornication, and compelled
Judah thereto.
14-21:13 But
hast walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and hast made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go a whoring, like
to the whoredoms of the house of Ahab, and also hast slain thy brethren of thy
father’s house, which were better
than thyself:
14-21:19 And
it came to pass, that in process of time, after the end of two years, his
bowels fell out by reason of his sickness: so he died of sore diseases. And his
people made no burning for him, like the burning
of his fathers.
14-22:1 And
the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his
youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians
to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of
Judah reigned.
14-23:3 And
all the congregation made a covenant with the
king in the house of God. And he said unto them, Behold, the king’s son shall
reign, as the LORD hath said of the sons of David.
14-23:11 Then
they brought out the king’s son, and put upon him the crown, and gave him the testimony, and made him king. And Jehoiada and his sons anointed him,
and said, God save the king.
14-23:16 And
Jehoiada made a covenant between him, and
between all the people, and between the king, that they should be the LORD’S
people.
14-24:8 And
at the king’s commandment they made a chest, and
set it without at the gate of the house of the LORD.
14-24:9 And
they made a proclamation through Judah and
Jerusalem, to bring in to the LORD the collection that Moses the servant of God laid
upon Israel in the wilderness.
14-24:10 And
all the princes and all the people rejoiced, and brought in, and cast into the
chest, until they had made an end.
14-24:14 And
when they had finished it, they
brought the rest of the money before the king and Jehoiada, whereof were made vessels for the house of the LORD, even vessels to minister, and to offer withal, and spoons, and vessels of gold
and silver. And they offered burnt offerings in the house of the LORD
continually all the days of Jehoiada.
14-24:17 Now
after the death of Jehoiada came the princes of Judah, and made obeisance to the king. Then the king hearkened
unto them.
14-25:5 Moreover
Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them
captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the houses of
their fathers, throughout all Judah
and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and above, and found
them three hundred thousand choice men,
able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.
14-25:16 And
it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the king said unto him, Art thou made
of the king’s counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Then the prophet
forbare, and said, I know that God hath determined to destroy thee, because
thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened unto my counsel.
14-25:27 Now
after the time that Amaziah did turn away from following the LORD they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem; and he
fled to Lachish: but they sent to Lachish after him, and slew him there.
14-26:1 Then
all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was
sixteen years old, and made him king in the
room of his father Amaziah.
14-26:5 And
he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of
God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made
him to prosper.
14-26:13 And
under their hand was an army, three
hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred, that made war with mighty power, to help the king against
the enemy.
14-26:15 And
he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by
cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and
great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously
helped, till he was strong.
14-28:2 For
he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made
also molten images for Baalim.
14-28:19 For
the LORD brought Judah low because of Ahaz king of Israel; for he made Judah naked, and transgressed sore against the
LORD.
14-28:24 And
Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut in pieces the
vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house of the LORD, and
he made him altars in every corner of Jerusalem.
14-28:25 And
in every several city of Judah he made high
places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger the LORD God of
his fathers.
14-29:17 Now
they began on the first day of the
first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the
porch of the LORD: so they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days; and
in the sixteenth day of the first month they made
an end.
14-29:24 And
the priests killed them, and they made
reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all
Israel: for the king commanded that the
burnt offering and the sin offering should
be made for all Israel.
14-29:29 And
when they had made an end of offering, the king
and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.
14-32:5 Also
he strengthened himself, and built up all the wall that was broken, and raised it up to the towers, and another wall
without, and repaired Millo in the
city of David, and made darts and shields in
abundance.
14-32:27 And
Hezekiah had exceeding much riches and honour: and he made
himself treasuries for silver, and for gold, and for precious stones, and for
spices, and for shields, and for all manner of pleasant jewels;
14-33:3 For
he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and
he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves,
and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
14-33:7 And
he set a carved image, the idol which he had made,
in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In
this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of
Israel, will I put my name for ever:
14-33:9 So
Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of
Jerusalem to err, and to do worse
than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.
14-33:22 But
he did that which was evil in the
sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the
carved images which Manasseh his father had made,
and served them;
14-33:25 But
the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and
the people of the land made Josiah his son king
in his stead.
14-34:4 And
they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images, that were on high above them, he cut down;
and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images, he brake in
pieces, and made dust of them, and strowed it upon
the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them.
14-34:31 And
the king stood in his place, and made a covenant
before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments, and his
testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to
perform the words of the covenant which are written in this book.
14-34:33 And
Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries that pertained to the children of Israel, and
made all that were present in Israel to serve, even to serve the LORD their God. And all his days they departed not from
following the LORD, the God of their fathers.
14-35:14 And
afterward they made ready for themselves, and
for the priests: because the priests the sons of Aaron were busied in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night;
therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of
Aaron.
14-35:25 And
Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing women
spake of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made
them an ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.
14-36:1 Then
the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father’s stead in Jerusalem.
14-36:4 And
the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king
over Judah and Jerusalem, and turned his name to Jehoiakim. And Necho took
Jehoahaz his brother, and carried him to Egypt.
14-36:10 And
when the year was expired, king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought him to
Babylon, with the goodly vessels of the house of the LORD, and made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and
Jerusalem.
14-36:13 And
he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made
him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from
turning unto the LORD God of Israel.
14-36:22 Now
in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be
accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
15-1:1 Now
in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the
mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus
king of Persia, that he made a proclamation
throughout all his kingdom, and put it also
in writing, saying,
15-4:15 That
search may be made in the book of the records of
thy fathers: so shalt thou find in the book of the records, and know that this
city is a rebellious city, and
hurtful unto kings and provinces, and that they have moved sedition within the
same of old time: for which cause was this city destroyed.
15-4:19 And
I commanded, and search hath been made, and it
is found that this city of old time hath made
insurrection against kings, and that rebellion
and sedition have been made therein.
15-4:23 Now
when the copy of king Artaxerxes’ letter was
read before Rehum, and Shimshai the scribe, and their companions, they went
up in haste to Jerusalem unto the Jews, and made
them to cease by force and power.
15-5:13 But
in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon the same king Cyrus made a decree to
build this house of God.
15-5:14 And
the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar
took out of the temple that was in
Jerusalem, and brought them into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the
king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered unto one, whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had made
governor;
15-5:17 Now
therefore, if it seem good to the
king, let there be search made in the king’s
treasure house, which is there at
Babylon, whether it be so, that a
decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this
house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning
this matter.
15-6:1 Then
Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in the house of the rolls, where the treasures
were laid up in Babylon.
15-6:3 In
the first year of Cyrus the king the same
Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at
Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices,
and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore
cubits, and the breadth thereof
threescore cubits;
15-6:11 Also
I have made a decree, that whosoever shall alter
this word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him
be hanged thereon; and let his house be made a
dunghill for this.
15-6:12 And
the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people,
that shall put to their hand to alter and
to destroy this house of God which is
at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree;
let it be done with speed.
15-6:22 And
kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of
Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God,
the God of Israel.
15-10:5 Then
arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the
Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word.
And they sware.
15-10:7 And
they made proclamation throughout Judah and
Jerusalem unto all the children of the captivity, that they should gather
themselves together unto Jerusalem;
15-10:17 And
they made an end with all the men that had taken
strange wives by the first day of the first month.
16-3:16 After
him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Bethzur,
unto the place over against the
sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made,
and unto the house of the mighty.
16-4:7 But
it came to pass, that when Sanballat,
and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that
the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be
stopped, then they were very wroth,
16-4:9 Nevertheless
we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch
against them day and night, because of them.
16-6:9 For
they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands
shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.
16-8:4 And
Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah,
and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right
hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and
Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
16-8:16 So
the people went forth, and brought them, and
made themselves booths, every one upon the roof
of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and
in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.
16-8:17 And
all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the
days of Jeshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done
so. And there was very great gladness.
16-9:6 Thou,
even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made
heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven
worshippeth thee.
16-9:18 Yea,
when they had made them a molten calf, and said,
This is thy God that brought thee up
out of Egypt, and had wrought great provocations;
16-10:32 Also
we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves
yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God;
16-12:43 Also
that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and
the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
16-13:13 And
I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah
the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them
was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son
of Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful, and their office was to distribute unto their brethren.
16-13:25 And
I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked
off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters
unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.
16-13:26 Did
not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was
there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him
did outlandish women cause to sin.
17-1:3 In
the third year of his reign, he made a feast
unto all his princes and his servants; the power of Persia and Media, the
nobles and princes of the provinces, being
before him:
17-1:5 And
when these days were expired, the king made a
feast unto all the people that were present in Shushan the palace, both unto
great and small, seven days, in the court of the garden of the king’s palace;
17-1:9 Also
Vashti the queen made a feast for the women in the royal house which belonged to king Ahasuerus.
17-2:17 And
the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in
his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her
head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
17-2:18 Then
the king made a great feast unto all his princes
and his servants, even Esther’s
feast; and he made a release to the provinces,
and gave gifts, according to the state of the king.
17-2:23 And
when inquisition was made of the matter, it was
found out; therefore they were both hanged on a tree: and it was written in the
book of the chronicles before the king.
17-5:14 Then
said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou
unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with
the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the
gallows to be made.
17-7:9 And
Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the
gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made
for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman.
Then the king said, Hang him thereon.
17-9:17 On
the thirteenth day of the month Adar; and on the fourteenth day of the same
rested they, and made it a day of feasting and
gladness.
17-9:18 But
the Jews that were at Shushan
assembled together on the thirteenth day thereof,
and on the fourteenth thereof; and on the fifteenth day of the same they rested, and made
it a day of feasting and gladness.
17-9:19 Therefore
the Jews of the villages, that dwelt in the unwalled towns, made the fourteenth day of the month Adar a day of gladness and feasting, and a
good day, and of sending portions one to another.
18-1:10 Hast
not thou made an hedge about him, and about his
house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of
his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
18-1:17 While
he was yet speaking, there came also
another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three
bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the
servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
18-2:11 Now
when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they
came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the
Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made
an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.
18-4:14 Fear
came upon me, and trembling, which made all my
bones to shake.
18-7:3 So
am I made to possess months of vanity, and
wearisome nights are appointed to me.
18-10:8 Thine
hands have made me and fashioned me together
round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
18-10:9 Remember,
I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the
clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
18-15:7 Art thou the first man that was born? or wast thou made before the hills?
18-16:7 But
now he hath made me weary: thou hast made desolate all my company.
18-17:6 He
hath made me also a byword of the people; and
aforetime I was as a tabret.
18-17:13 If
I wait, the grave is mine house: I
have made my bed in the darkness.
18-28:18 No
mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls:
for the price of wisdom is above
rubies.
18-28:26 When
he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the
lightning of the thunder:
18-31:1 I
made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should
I think upon a maid?
18-31:15 Did
not he that made me in the womb make him? and
did not one fashion us in the womb?
18-31:24 If
I have made gold my hope, or have said to the
fine gold, Thou art my confidence;
18-33:4 The
spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of
the Almighty hath given me life.
18-38:9 When
I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick
darkness a swaddlingband for it,
18-39:6 Whose
house I have made the wilderness, and the barren
land his dwellings.
18-40:15 Behold
now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth
grass as an ox.
18-40:19 He
is the chief of the ways of God: he
that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
18-41:33 Upon
earth there is not his like, who is made without
fear.
19-7:12 If
he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
19-7:15 He
made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into
the ditch which he made.
19-8:5 For
thou hast made him a little lower than the
angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
19-9:15 The
heathen are sunk down in the pit that they
made: in the net which they hid is their own
foot taken.
19-18:4 The
sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
19-18:11 He
made darkness his secret place; his pavilion
round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
19-18:35 Thou
hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden
me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
19-18:43 Thou
hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of
the heathen: a people whom I have not
known shall serve me.
19-21:6 For
thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou
hast made him exceeding glad with thy
countenance.
19-30:1 I
will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
19-30:7 LORD,
by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to
stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and
I was troubled.
19-30:8 I
cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made
supplication.
19-33:6 By
the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and
all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
19-39:5 Behold,
thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is
as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
19-45:1 My
heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
19-45:8 All
thy garments smell of myrrh, and
aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory
palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.
19-46:8 Come,
behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made
in the earth.
19-49:16 Be
not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the
glory of his house is increased;
19-50:5 Gather
my saints together unto me; those that have made
a covenant with me by sacrifice.
19-52:7 Lo,
this is the man that made not God his strength; but
trusted in the abundance of his riches, and
strengthened himself in his wickedness.
19-60:2 Thou
hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken
it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.
19-60:3 Thou
hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made
us to drink the wine of astonishment.
19-69:11 I
made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a
proverb to them.
19-72:15 And
he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also
shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.
19-74:17 Thou
hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made
summer and winter.
19-77:6 I
call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my
spirit made diligent search.
19-78:13 He
divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap.
19-78:50 He
made a way to his anger; he spared not their
soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;
19-78:52 But
made his own people to go forth like sheep, and
guided them in the wilderness like a flock.
19-78:55 He
cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line,
and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their
tents.
19-78:64 Their
priests fell by the sword; and their widows made
no lamentation.
19-86:9 All
nations whom thou hast made shall come and
worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
19-88:8 Thou
hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made
me an abomination unto them: I am shut
up, and I cannot come forth.
19-89:3 I
have made a covenant with my chosen, I have
sworn unto David my servant,
19-89:39 Thou
hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou
hast profaned his crown by casting it to
the ground.
19-89:42 Thou
hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
19-89:43 Thou
hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made
him to stand in the battle.
19-89:44 Thou
hast made his glory to cease, and cast his
throne down to the ground.
19-89:47 Remember
how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made
all men in vain?
19-91:9 Because
thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the
most High, thy habitation;
19-92:4 For
thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work:
I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
19-95:5 The
sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
19-96:5 For
all the gods of the nations are idols:
but the LORD made the heavens.
19-98:2 The
LORD hath made known his salvation: his
righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
19-100:3 Know
ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we
ourselves; we are his people, and the
sheep of his pasture.
19-103:7 He
made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto
the children of Israel.
19-104:24 O
LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made
them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
19-104:26 There
go the ships: there is that
leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.
19-105:9 Which
covenant he made
with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
19-105:21 He
made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his
substance:
19-105:24 And
he increased his people greatly; and made them
stronger than their enemies.
19-105:28 He
sent darkness, and made it dark; and they
rebelled not against his word.
19-106:19 They
made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten
image.
19-106:46 He
made them also to be pitied of all those that
carried them captives.
19-111:4 He
hath made his wonderful works to be remembered:
the LORD is gracious and full of
compassion.
19-115:15 Ye
are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
19-118:24 This
is the day which the LORD hath made; we will
rejoice and be glad in it.
19-119:60 I
made haste, and delayed not to keep thy
commandments.
19-119:73 JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that
I may learn thy commandments.
19-119:98 Thou
through thy commandments hast made me wiser than
mine enemies: for they are ever with
me.
19-119:126 It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they
have made void thy law.
19-121:2 My
help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
19-124:8 Our
help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
19-129:3 The
plowers plowed upon my back: they made long
their furrows.
19-134:3 The
LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out
of Zion.
19-136:5 To
him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his
mercy endureth for ever.
19-136:7 To
him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:
19-136:14 And
made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for
his mercy endureth for ever:
19-139:14 I
will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully
made: marvellous are thy works; and that my
soul knoweth right well.
19-139:15 My
substance was not hid from thee, when I was made
in secret, and curiously wrought in
the lowest parts of the earth.
19-143:3 For
the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground;
he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those
that have been long dead.
19-146:6 Which
made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that
therein is: which keepeth truth for
ever:
19-148:6 He
hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made
a decree which shall not pass.
19-149:2 Let
Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the
children of Zion be joyful in their King.
20-8:26 While
as yet he had not made the earth, nor the
fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
20-11:25 The
liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that
watereth shall be watered also himself.
20-13:4 The
soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing:
but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
20-14:33 Wisdom
resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made
known.
20-15:19 The
way of the slothful man is as an
hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.
20-16:4 The
LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
20-20:9 Who
can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure
from my sin?
20-20:12 The
hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made
even both of them.
20-21:11 When
the scorner is punished, the simple is made
wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
20-22:19 That
thy trust may be in the LORD, I have made known
to thee this day, even to thee.
20-28:25 He
that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in
the LORD shall be made fat.
21-1:15 That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be
numbered.
21-2:4 I
made me great works; I builded me houses; I
planted me vineyards:
21-2:5 I
made me gardens and orchards, and I planted
trees in them of all kind of fruits:
21-2:6 I
made me pools of water, to water therewith the
wood that bringeth forth trees:
21-3:11 He
hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their
heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning
to the end.
21-7:3 Sorrow
is better than laughter: for by the
sadness of the countenance the heart is made
better.
21-7:13 Consider
the work of God: for who can make that straight,
which he hath made crooked?
21-7:29 Lo,
this only have I found, that God hath made man
upright; but they have sought out many inventions.
21-10:19 A
feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh
merry: but money answereth all things.
22-1:6 Look
not upon me, because I am black,
because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children were angry with me;
they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.
22-3:9 King
Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of
Lebanon.
22-3:10 He
made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of
gold, the covering of it of purple,
the midst thereof being paved with love,
for the daughters of Jerusalem.
22-6:12 Or
ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Amminadib.
23-2:8 Their
land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that
which their own fingers have made:
23-2:17 And
the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that
day.
23-2:20 In
that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which
they made each
one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
23-5:2 And
he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the
choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should
bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
23-14:3 And
it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy
sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve.
23-14:16 They
that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is
this the man that made the earth to tremble,
that did shake kingdoms;
23-14:17 That made
the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his
prisoners?
23-16:10 And
gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards
there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall
tread out no wine in their presses; I
have made their
vintage shouting to cease.
23-17:4 And
in that day it shall come to pass, that the
glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the
fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.
23-17:8 And
he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images.
23-21:2 A
grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth
treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all
the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
23-22:11 Ye
made also a ditch between the two walls for the
water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither
had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.
23-25:2 For
thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of
strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
23-26:14 They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise:
therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made
all their memory to perish.
23-27:11 When
the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding:
therefore he that made them will not have mercy
on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour.
23-28:15 Because
ye have said, We have made a covenant with
death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall
pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made
lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
23-28:22 Now
therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made
strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even
determined upon the whole earth.
23-28:25 When
he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not
cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal
wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?
23-29:16 Surely
your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for
shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that
framed it, He had no understanding?
23-30:33 For
Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for
the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is
fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone,
doth kindle it.
23-31:7 For
in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of
gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.
23-34:6 The
sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made
fat with fatness, and with the blood
of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a
sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
23-34:7 And
the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and
their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made
fat with fatness.
23-37:16 O
LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between
the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of
the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
23-40:4 Every
valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
23-41:2 Who
raised up the righteous man from the
east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule
over kings? he gave them as the dust
to his sword, and as driven stubble
to his bow.
23-43:7 Even every one that is called by my
name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
23-43:24 Thou
hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the
fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to
serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.
23-44:2 Thus
saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee
from the womb, which will help thee;
Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
23-45:12 I
have made the earth, and created man upon it: I,
even my hands, have stretched out the
heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
23-45:18 For
thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth
and made it; he hath established it, he created
it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none
else.
23-46:4 And
even to your old age I am he; and
even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made,
and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
23-49:1 Listen,
O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me
from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made
mention of my name.
23-49:2 And
he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the
shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a
polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;
23-49:17 Thy
children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.
23-51:10 Art thou not it which hath dried the
sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made
the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?
23-51:12 I,
even I, am he that comforteth you: who art
thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
23-52:10 The
LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of
all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our
God.
23-53:9 And
he made his grave with the wicked, and with the
rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
23-53:12 Therefore
will I divide him a portion with the
great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured
out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he
bare the sin of many, and made intercession for
the transgressors.
23-57:8 Behind
the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast
discovered thyself to another than
me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made
thee a covenant with them; thou
lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.
23-57:16 For
I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit
should fail before me, and the souls which
I have made.
23-59:8 The
way of peace they know not; and there is no
judgment in their goings: they have made them
crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
23-63:17 O
LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy
ways, and hardened our heart from thy
fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
23-66:2 For
all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite
spirit, and trembleth at my word.
23-66:8 Who
hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed,
she brought forth her children.
24-1:18 For,
behold, I have made thee this day a defenced
city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the
kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and
against the people of the land.
24-2:7 And
I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the
goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.
24-2:15 The
young lions roared upon him, and yelled,
and they made his land waste: his cities are
burned without inhabitant.
24-2:28 But
where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in
the time of thy trouble: for according to
the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
24-5:3 O
LORD, are not thine eyes upon the
truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed
them, but they have refused to
receive correction: they have made their faces
harder than a rock; they have refused to return.
24-8:8 How
do ye say, We are wise, and the law
of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly
in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is
in vain.
24-10:11 Thus
shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made
the heavens and the earth, even they
shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
24-10:12 He
hath made the earth by his power, he hath
established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his
discretion.
24-10:25 Pour
out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that
call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and
consumed him, and have made his habitation
desolate.
24-11:10 They
are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear
my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and
the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made
with their fathers.
24-12:10 Many
pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot,
they have made my pleasant portion a desolate
wilderness.
24-12:11 They
have made it desolate, and being desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth it to heart.
24-13:22 And
if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these things upon me? For the
greatness of thine iniquity are thy skirts discovered, and thy heels made bare.
24-13:27 I
have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hills in
the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made clean? when shall
it once be?
24-14:22 Are
there any among the vanities of the
Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God?
therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made
all these things.
24-17:23 But
they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made
their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.
24-18:4 And
the vessel that he made of clay was marred in
the hand of the potter: so he made it again
another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
24-19:11 And
shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this
people and this city, as one breaketh
a potter’s vessel, that cannot be made whole
again: and they shall bury them in
Tophet, till there be no place to
bury.
24-20:8 For
since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the
LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a
derision, daily.
24-25:17 Then
took I the cup at the LORD’S hand, and made all
the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:
24-26:8 Now
it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end
of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him
to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the
people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
24-27:5 I
have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power
and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
24-29:26 The
LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of
Jehoiada the priest, that ye should be officers in the house of the LORD, for
every man that is mad, and maketh
himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in prison, and in the stocks.
24-31:32 Not
according to the covenant that I made with their
fathers in the day that I took them
by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they
brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
24-32:17 Ah
Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and
the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
24-32:20 Which
hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a
name, as at this day;
24-34:8 This is the word that came unto Jeremiah
from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made
a covenant with all the people which were
at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;
24-34:13 Thus
saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a
covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land
of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,
24-34:15 And
ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty
every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a
covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:
24-34:18 And
I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not
performed the words of the covenant which they had made
before me, when they cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts
thereof.
24-36:25 Nevertheless
Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made intercession
to the king that he would not burn the roll: but he would not hear them.
24-37:1 And
king Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim,
whom Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon made king in
the land of Judah.
24-37:15 Wherefore
the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in prison in
the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made
that the prison.
24-38:16 So
Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, As the LORD liveth, that made us
this soul, I will not put thee to death, neither will I give thee into the hand
of these men that seek thy life.
24-40:5 Now
while he was not yet gone back, he said, Go
back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of
Babylon hath made governor over the cities of
Judah, and dwell with him among the people: or go wheresoever it seemeth
convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a
reward, and let him go.
24-40:7 Now
when all the captains of the forces which were
in the fields, even they and
their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made
Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him
men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were
not carried away captive to Babylon;
24-41:2 Then
arose Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and the ten men that were with him, and
smote Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan with the sword, and slew
him, whom the king of Babylon had made governor
over the land.
24-41:9 Now
the pit wherein Ishmael had cast all the dead bodies of the men, whom he had
slain because of Gedaliah, was it
which Asa the king had made for fear of Baasha
king of Israel: and Ishmael the son
of Nethaniah filled it with them that
were slain.
24-41:18 Because
of the Chaldeans: for they were afraid of them, because Ishmael the son of
Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land.
24-43:1 And
it came to pass, that when Jeremiah
had made an end of speaking unto all the people
all the words of the LORD their God, for which the LORD their God had sent him
to them, even all these words,
24-46:10 For
this is the day of the Lord GOD of
hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the
sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made
drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north
country by the river Euphrates.
24-46:16 He
made many to fall, yea, one fell upon another:
and they said, Arise, and let us go again to our own people, and to the land of
our nativity, from the oppressing sword.
24-49:10 But
I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his
secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled,
and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not.
24-51:7 Babylon
hath been a golden cup in the LORD’S
hand, that made all the earth drunken: the
nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.
24-51:15 He
hath made the earth by his power, he hath
established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his
understanding.
24-51:34 Nebuchadrezzar
the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like
a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out.
24-51:63 And
it shall be, when thou hast made an end of
reading this book, that thou shalt
bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:
24-52:20 The
two pillars, one sea, and twelve brasen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: the brass of all these
vessels was without weight.
25-1:13 From
above hath he sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath
spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and
faint all the day.
25-1:14 The
yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall, the Lord hath delivered me
into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up.
25-2:7 The
Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up
into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day
of a solemn feast.
25-2:8 The
LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched
out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they
languished together.
25-3:4 My
flesh and my skin hath he made old: he hath
broken my bones.
25-3:7 He
hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he hath made
my chain heavy.
25-3:9 He
hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made
my paths crooked.
25-3:11 He
hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate.
25-3:15 He
hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me
drunken with wormwood.
25-3:45 Thou
hast made us as
the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.
26-3:8 Behold,
I have made thy face strong against their faces,
and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.
26-3:9 As
an adamant harder than flint have I made thy
forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
26-3:17 Son
of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the
house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning
from me.
26-6:6 In
all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places
shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease,
and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
26-7:20 As
for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein:
therefore have I set it far from them.
26-13:5 Ye
have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up
the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the
LORD.
26-13:6 They
have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD
hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm
the word.
26-13:22 Because
with lies ye have made the heart of the
righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened
the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by
promising him life:
26-16:24 That thou hast also built unto thee an
eminent place, and hast made thee an high place
in every street.
26-16:25 Thou
hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy
feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.
26-17:13 And
hath taken of the king’s seed, and made a
covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty
of the land:
26-17:16 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in
the place where the king dwelleth that made
him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he
shall die.
26-17:24 And
all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the
high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken
and have done it.
26-19:5 Now
when she saw that she had waited, and her
hope was lost, then she took another of her whelps, and made him a young lion.
26-20:5 And
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and
lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when
I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am
the LORD your God;
26-20:9 But
I wrought for my name’s sake, that it should not be polluted before the
heathen, among whom they were, in whose
sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing
them forth out of the land of Egypt.
26-20:28 For when I had brought them into the
land, for the which I lifted up mine
hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick
trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the
provocation of their offering: there also they made
their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.
26-21:15 I
have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made
bright, it is wrapped up for the
slaughter.
26-21:21 For
the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two
ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with
images, he looked in the liver.
26-21:24 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made
your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so
that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the
hand.
26-22:4 Thou
art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in
thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast
caused thy days to draw near, and art come even
unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a
reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.
26-22:13 Behold,
therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of
thee.
26-22:25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in
the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured
souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.
26-26:10 By
reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls
shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the
chariots, when he shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein
is made a breach.
26-26:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy
fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made
in the midst of thee?
26-27:5 They
have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from
Lebanon to make masts for thee.
26-27:6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of
ivory, brought out of the isles
of Chittim.
26-27:11 The
men of Arvad with thine army were upon
thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their
shields upon thy walls round about; they have made
thy beauty perfect.
26-27:24 These
were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and
broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.
26-27:25 The
ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished,
and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
26-29:3 Speak,
and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am
against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the
midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.
26-29:9 And
the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he hath said, The
river is mine, and I have made it.
26-29:18 Son
of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service
against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the
service that he had served against it:
26-31:4 The
waters made him great, the deep set him up on high
with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out her little rivers
unto all the trees of the field.
26-31:6 All
the fowls of heaven made their nests in his
boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth
their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.
26-31:9 I
have made him fair by the multitude of his
branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.
26-31:16 I
made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall,
when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the
trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be
comforted in the nether parts of the earth.
26-36:3 Therefore
prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate,
and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the
residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:
26-39:26 After
that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have
trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.
26-40:14 He
made also posts of threescore cubits, even unto
the post of the court round about the gate.
26-40:17 Then
brought he me into the outward court, and, lo, there were chambers, and a pavement made
for the court round about: thirty chambers were
upon the pavement.
26-41:18 And
it was made
with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces;
26-41:19 So
that the face of a man was toward the
palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on
the other side: it was made through all the house round about.
26-41:20 From
the ground unto above the door were cherubims
and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple.
26-41:25 And
there were made
on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubims and palm trees, like as were made
upon the walls; and there were thick
planks upon the face of the porch without.
26-42:15 Now
when he had made an end of measuring the inner
house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.
26-43:23 When
thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock
without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.
26-46:23 And
there was a row of building round about in them, round about them four, and it was made
with boiling places under the rows round about.
27-2:5 The
king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will
not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be
cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a
dunghill.
27-2:15 He
answered and said to Arioch the king’s captain, Why is the decree so hasty
from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known
to Daniel.
27-2:17 Then
Daniel went to his house, and made the thing
known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:
27-2:23 I
thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom
and might, and hast made known unto me now what
we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter.
27-2:38 And
wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of
the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made
thee ruler over them all. Thou art this
head of gold.
27-2:45 Forasmuch
as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and
that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the
gold; the great God hath made known to the king
what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
27-2:48 Then
the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him
many great gifts, and made him ruler over the
whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.
27-3:1 Nebuchadnezzar
the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he
set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
27-3:10 Thou,
O king, hast made a decree, that every man that
shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and
dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden
image:
27-3:15 Now
if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp,
sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and
worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be
cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out
of my hands?
27-3:29 Therefore
I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing
amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in
pieces, and their houses shall be made a
dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
27-4:5 I
saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts
upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.
27-4:6 Therefore
made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they
might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream.
27-5:1 Belshazzar
the king made a great feast to a thousand of his
lords, and drank wine before the thousand.
27-5:11 There
is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the
spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding
and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king
Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I
say, thy father, made master of the
magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;
27-5:21 And
he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made
like the beasts, and his dwelling was with
the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with
the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of
men, and that he appointeth over it
whomsoever he will.
27-5:29 Then
commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be
the third ruler in the kingdom.
27-7:4 The
first was like a lion, and had
eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted
up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet
as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.
27-7:16 I
came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this.
So he told me, and made me know the
interpretation of the things.
27-7:21 I
beheld, and the same horn made war with the
saints, and prevailed against them;
27-9:1 In
the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which
was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;
27-9:4 And
I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my
confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant
and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
27-9:13 As
it is written in the law of Moses,
all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not
our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and
understand thy truth.
27-11:23 And
after the league made
with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become
strong with a small people.
27-12:10 Many
shall be purified, and made white, and tried;
but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but
the wise shall understand.
28-5:9 Ephraim
shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
28-7:5 In
the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he
stretched out his hand with scorners.
28-7:6 For
they have made ready their heart like an oven,
whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it
burneth as a flaming fire.
28-8:4 They
have set up kings, but not by me: they have made
princes, and I knew it not: of their
silver and their gold have they made them idols,
that they may be cut off.
28-8:6 For
from Israel was it also: the workman made it; therefore it is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.
28-8:11 Because
Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars
shall be unto him to sin.
28-10:1 Israel
is an empty vine, he bringeth forth
fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased
the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
28-12:4 Yea,
he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spake with us;
28-13:2 And
now they sin more and more, and have made them
molten images of their silver, and idols
according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they
say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.
29-1:7 He
hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made
white.
29-1:18 How
do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no
pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made
desolate.
30-4:10 I
have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men
have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your
nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
30-5:26 But
ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of
your god, which ye made to yourselves.
30-7:2 And
it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I
said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
30-7:7 Thus
he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a
plumbline in his hand.
31-1:2 Behold,
I have made thee small among the heathen: thou
art greatly despised.
32-1:9 And
he said unto them, I am an Hebrew;
and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made
the sea and the dry land.
32-1:16 Then
the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD, and
made vows.
32-4:5 So
Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till
he might see what would become of the city.
32-4:6 And
the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might
be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was
exceeding glad of the gourd.
34-2:3 The
shield of his mighty men is made red, the
valiant men are in scarlet: the
chariots shall be with flaming
torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly
shaken.
34-2:11 Where
is the dwelling of the lions, and the
feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and
the lion’s whelp, and none made them afraid?
35-2:17 For
the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made
them afraid, because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the
city, and of all that dwell therein.
35-3:9 Thy
bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
36-3:6 I
have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made
their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that
there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.
38-7:12 Yea,
they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words
which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets:
therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.
38-9:13 When
I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons,
O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made
thee as the sword of a mighty man.
38-10:3 Mine
anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD
of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.
38-11:10 And
I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut
it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made
with all the people.
39-2:9 Therefore
have I also made you contemptible and base
before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been
partial in the law.
40-4:3 And
when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that
these stones be made bread.
40-9:16 No
man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in
to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made
worse.
40-9:22 But
Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good
comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the
woman was made whole from that hour.
40-11:1 And
it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of
commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in
their cities.
40-14:36 And
besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as
touched were made perfectly whole.
40-15:6 And
honour not his father or his mother, he
shall be free. Thus have ye made the
commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
40-15:28 Then
Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter
was made whole from that very hour.
40-18:25 But
forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his
wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
40-19:4 And
he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at
the beginning made them male and female,
40-19:12 For
there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s
sake. He that is able to receive it, let
him receive it.
40-20:12 Saying,
These last have wrought but one hour,
and thou hast made them equal unto us, which
have borne the burden and heat of the day.
40-21:13 And
said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer;
but ye have made it a den of thieves.
40-22:2 The
kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made
a marriage for his son,
40-22:5 But
they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his
merchandise:
40-23:15 Woe
unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to
make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make
him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
40-24:45 Who
then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
40-25:6 And
at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the
bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
40-25:16 Then
he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other
five talents.
40-26:19 And
the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.
40-27:24 When
Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he
took water, and washed his hands
before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person:
see ye to it.
40-27:64 Command
therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until
the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say
unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse
than the first.
40-27:66 So
they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing
the stone, and setting a watch.
41-2:21 No
man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that
filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made
worse.
41-2:27 And
he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man,
and not man for the sabbath:
41-5:34 And
he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made
thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
41-6:21 And
when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;
41-6:56 And
whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the
sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the
border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made
whole.
41-8:25 After
that he put his hands again upon his
eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored,
and saw every man clearly.
41-10:6 But
from the beginning of the creation God made them
male and female.
41-10:52 And
Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made
thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the
way.
41-11:17 And
he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all
nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it
a den of thieves.
41-14:4 And
there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this
waste of the ointment made?
41-14:16 And
his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto
them: and they made ready the passover.
41-14:58 We
heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made
with hands, and within three days I will build another made
without hands.
41-15:7 And
there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder
in the insurrection.
42-1:62 And
they made signs to his father, how he would have
him called.
42-2:2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
42-2:15 And
it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the
shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this
thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made
known unto us.
42-2:17 And
when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them
concerning this child.
42-3:5 Every
valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and
the crooked shall be made straight, and the
rough ways shall be made smooth;
42-4:3 And
the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it
be made bread.
42-5:29 And
Levi made him a great feast in his own house:
and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with
them.
42-8:17 For
nothing is secret, that shall not be made
manifest; neither any thing hid, that
shall not be known and come abroad.
42-8:48 And
he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
42-8:50 But
when Jesus heard it, he answered him,
saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made
whole.
42-9:15 And
they did so, and made them all sit down.
42-11:40 Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within
also?
42-12:14 And
he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a
divider over you?
42-13:13 And
he laid his hands on her: and
immediately she was made straight, and glorified
God.
42-14:12 Then
said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call
not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid
thee again, and a recompence be made thee.
42-14:16 Then
said he unto him, A certain man made a great
supper, and bade many:
42-17:19 And
he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made
thee whole.
42-19:6 And
he made haste, and came down, and received him
joyfully.
42-19:46 Saying
unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
42-22:13 And
they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
42-23:12 And
the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends
together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.
42-23:19 (Who
for a certain sedition made in the city, and for
murder, was cast into prison.)
42-24:22 Yea,
and certain women also of our company made us
astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;
42-24:28 And
they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
43-1:3 All
things were made by him; and without him was not
any thing made that was made.
43-1:10 He
was in the world, and the world was made by him,
and the world knew him not.
43-1:14 And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
43-1:31 And
I knew him not: but that he should be made
manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
43-2:9 When
the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made
wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;)
the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
43-2:15 And
when he had made a scourge of small cords, he
drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out
the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;
43-3:21 But
he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
43-4:1 When
therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
43-4:46 So
Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made
the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at
Capernaum.
43-5:4 For
an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water:
whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
43-5:6 When
Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt
thou be made whole?
43-5:9 And
immediately the man was made whole, and took up
his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
43-5:11 He
answered them, He that made me whole, the same
said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
43-5:14 Afterward
Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto
thee.
43-5:15 The
man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
43-7:23 If
a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not
be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made
a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?
43-8:33 They
answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how
sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
43-9:3 Jesus
answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of
God should be made manifest in him.
43-9:6 When
he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made
clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
43-9:11 He
answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made
clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and
wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.
43-9:14 And
it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay,
and opened his eyes.
43-9:39 And
Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not
might see; and that they which see might be made
blind.
43-12:2 There
they made him a supper; and Martha served: but
Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.
43-15:15 Henceforth
I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I
have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
43-17:23 I
in them, and thou in me, that they may be made
perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast
loved them, as thou hast loved me.
43-18:18 And
the servants and officers stood there, who had made
a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood
with them, and warmed himself.
43-19:7 The
Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.
43-19:23 Then
the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam,
woven from the top throughout.
44-1:1 The
former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of
all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
44-2:28 Thou
hast made known to me the ways of life; thou
shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
44-2:36 Therefore
let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both
Lord and Christ.
44-3:12 And
when Peter saw it, he answered unto
the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so
earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
44-3:16 And
his name through faith in his name hath made
this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath
given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
44-3:25 Ye
are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy
seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
44-4:9 If
we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what
means he is made whole;
44-4:24 And
when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and
said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in
them is:
44-4:35 And
laid them down at the apostles’ feet:
and distribution was made unto every man
according as he had need.
44-7:10 And
delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the
sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him
governor over Egypt and all his house.
44-7:13 And
at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph’s kindred was made known unto Pharaoh.
44-7:27 But
he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?
44-7:35 This
Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a
ruler and a judge? the same did God send to
be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him
in the bush.
44-7:41 And
they made a calf in those days, and offered
sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.
44-7:43 Yea,
ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures
which ye made to worship them: and I will carry
you away beyond Babylon.
44-7:48 Howbeit
the most High dwelleth not in temples made with
hands; as saith the prophet,
44-7:50 Hath
not my hand made all these things?
44-8:2 And
devout men carried Stephen to his burial,
and made great lamentation over him.
44-8:3 As
for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering
into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
44-9:39 Then
Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the
upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats
and garments which Dorcas made, while she was
with them.
44-10:10 And
he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
44-10:17 Now
while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean,
behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made
enquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate,
44-12:5 Peter
therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made
without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
44-12:20 And
Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one
accord to him, and, having made Blastus the
king’s chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished
by the king’s country.
44-12:21 And
upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.
44-13:32 And
we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,
44-14:2 But
the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made
their minds evil affected against the brethren.
44-14:5 And
when there was an assault made both of the
Gentiles, and also of the Jews with their rulers, to use them despitefully, and to stone them,
44-14:15 And
saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with
you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the
living God, which made heaven, and earth, and
the sea, and all things that are therein:
44-15:7 And
when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good
while ago God made choice among us, that the
Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
44-16:13 And
on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont
to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the
women which resorted thither.
44-16:24 Who,
having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.
44-17:24 God
that made the world and all things therein,
seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
44-17:26 And
hath made of one blood all nations of men for to
dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before
appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
44-18:12 And
when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made
insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment
seat,
44-19:24 For
a certain man named Demetrius, a
silversmith, which made silver shrines for
Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;
44-19:26 Moreover
ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia,
this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no
gods, which are made with hands:
44-19:33 And
they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And
Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made
his defence unto the people.
44-20:28 Take
heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy
Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the
church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
44-21:40 And
when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the
hand unto the people. And when there was made a
great silence, he spake unto them in
the Hebrew tongue, saying,
44-22:6 And
it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and
was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a
great light round about me.
44-23:13 And
they were more than forty which had made this
conspiracy.
44-26:6 And
now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made
of God unto our fathers:
44-27:40 And
when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoisted
up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward
shore.
45-1:3 Concerning
his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of
the seed of David according to the flesh;
45-1:20 For
the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so
that they are without excuse:
45-1:23 And
changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and
fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
45-2:25 For
circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker
of the law, thy circumcision is made
uncircumcision.
45-4:14 For
if they which are of the law be heirs,
faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
45-4:17 (As
it is written, I have made thee a father of many
nations,) before him whom he believed, even
God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as
though they were.
45-5:19 For
as by one man’s disobedience many were made
sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made
righteous.
45-6:18 Being
then made free from sin, ye became the servants
of righteousness.
45-6:22 But
now being made free from sin, and become
servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting
life.
45-7:13 Was
then that which is good made death unto me? God
forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is
good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
45-8:2 For
the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made
me free from the law of sin and death.
45-8:20 For
the creature was made subject to vanity, not
willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
45-9:20 Nay
but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say
to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
45-9:29 And
as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had
been as Sodoma, and been made like unto
Gomorrha.
45-10:10 For
with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation.
45-10:20 But
Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
45-11:9 And
David saith, Let their table be made a snare,
and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
45-14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to
drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy
brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made
weak.
45-15:8 Now
I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of
God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
45-15:27 It
hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have
been made partakers of their spiritual things,
their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
45-16:26 But
now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of
the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
46-1:17 For
Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of
words, lest the cross of Christ should be made
of none effect.
46-1:20 Where
is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not
God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
46-1:30 But
of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made
unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
46-3:13 Every
man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day
shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try
every man’s work of what sort it is.
46-4:9 For
I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to
death: for we are made a spectacle unto the
world, and to angels, and to men.
46-4:13 Being
defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of
the world, and are the offscouring of
all things unto this day.
46-7:21 Art
thou called being a servant? care not
for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.
46-9:19 For
though I be free from all men, yet
have I made myself servant unto all, that I
might gain the more.
46-9:22 To
the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
46-11:19 For
there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
46-12:13 For
by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we
be bond or free; and have been all made to
drink into one Spirit.
46-14:25 And
thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest;
and so falling down on his face he
will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.
46-15:22 For
as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made
alive.
46-15:45 And
so it is written, The first man Adam was made a
living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
47-2:2 For
if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?
47-3:6 Who
also hath made us able ministers of the new
testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but
the spirit giveth life.
47-3:10 For
even that which was made glorious had no glory
in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
47-4:10 Always
bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of
Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
47-4:11 For
we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life
also of Jesus might be made manifest in our
mortal flesh.
47-5:1 For
we know that if our earthly house of this
tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
47-5:11 Knowing
therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
47-5:21 For
he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
47-7:8 For
though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not
repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
47-7:9 Now
I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that
ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made
sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
47-7:14 For
if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake
all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a
truth.
47-10:16 To
preach the gospel in the regions beyond
you, and not to boast in another
man’s line of things made ready to our hand.
47-11:6 But
though I be rude in speech, yet not
in knowledge; but we have been throughly made
manifest among you in all things.
47-12:9 And
he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I
rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
48-3:3 Are
ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made
perfect by the flesh?
48-3:13 Christ
hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made
a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is
every one that hangeth on a tree:
48-3:16 Now
to Abraham and his seed were the promises made.
He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which
is Christ.
48-3:19 Wherefore
then serveth the law? It was added
because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was
ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
48-4:4 But
when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made
under the law,
48-5:1 Stand
fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made
us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
49-1:6 To
the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made
us accepted in the beloved.
49-1:9 Having
made known unto us the mystery of his will,
according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
