01-GENESIS
01-2:15 And
the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and
to keep it.
01-3:24 So
he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the
01-6:19 And
of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the
ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be
male and female.
01-6:20 Of
fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing
of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
01-7:3 Of
fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
01-17:9 And
God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my
covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
01-17:10 This
is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me
and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be
circumcised.
01-18:19 For
I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and
they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do
justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath
spoken of him.
01-28:15 And,
behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in
all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I
will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
01-28:20 And
Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread
to eat, and raiment to put on,
01-30:31 And
he said, What shall I give thee? And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any
thing: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep thy flock.
01-33:9 And
Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that
thou hast unto thyself.
01-41:35 And
let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn
under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep
food in the cities.
02-6:5 And
I have also heard the groaning of the children of
02-12:6 And
ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of
the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of
02-12:14 And
this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
02-12:25 And
it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give
you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep
this service.
02-12:47 All
the congregation of
02-12:48 And
when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep
the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him
come near and keep it; and he shall be as one
that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
02-13:5 And
it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and
the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he
sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that
thou shalt keep this service in this month.
02-13:10 Thou
shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his
season from year to year.
02-15:26 And
said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and
wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his
commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put
none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for
I am the LORD that healeth thee.
02-16:28 And
the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep
my commandments and my laws?
02-19:5 Now
therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep
my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for
all the earth is mine:
02-20:6 And
shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep
my commandments.
02-20:8 Remember
the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
02-22:7 If
a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man’s house; if the
thief be found, let him pay double.
02-22:10 If
a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to
keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no
man seeing it:
02-23:7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent
and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
02-23:14 Three
times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the
year.
02-23:15 Thou
shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou
shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time
appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none
shall appear before me empty:)
02-23:20 Behold,
I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the
way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
02-31:13 Speak
thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout
your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
02-31:14 Ye
shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy
unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for
whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his
people.
02-31:16 Wherefore
the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to
observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
02-34:18 The
feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven
days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the
month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.
03-6:2 If
a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour
in that which was delivered him to keep, or in
fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;
03-6:4 Then
it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that
which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or
that which was delivered him to keep, or the
lost thing which he found,
03-8:35 Therefore
shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night
seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD,
that ye die not: for so I am commanded.
03-18:4 Ye
shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances,
to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.
03-18:5 Ye
shall therefore keep my statutes, and my
judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.
03-18:26 Ye
shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments,
and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation,
nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
03-18:30 Therefore
shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not
any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that
ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
03-19:3 Ye
shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep
my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.
03-19:19 Ye
shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle
gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed:
neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.
03-19:30 Ye
shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my
sanctuary: I am the LORD.
03-20:8 And
ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the
LORD which sanctify you.
03-20:22 Ye
shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my
judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein,
spue you not out.
03-22:9 They
shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they
bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify
them.
03-22:31 Therefore
shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am
the LORD.
03-23:39 Also
in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit
of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD
seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be
a sabbath.
03-23:41 And
ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven
days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall
celebrate it in the seventh month.
03-25:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land
which I give you, then shall the land keep a
sabbath unto the LORD.
03-25:18 Wherefore
ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments,
and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
03-26:2 Ye
shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my
sanctuary: I am the LORD.
03-26:3 If
ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments,
and do them;
04-1:53 But
the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be
no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall
keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
04-3:7 And
they shall keep his charge, and the charge of
the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the
service of the tabernacle.
04-3:8 And
they shall keep all the instruments of the
tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do
the service of the tabernacle.
04-3:32 And
Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the
Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep
the charge of the sanctuary.
04-6:24 The
LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
04-8:26 But
shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt
thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.
04-9:2 Let
the children of Israel also keep the passover at
his appointed season.
04-9:3 In
the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep
it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to
all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.
04-9:4 And
Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover.
04-9:6 And
there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they
could not keep the passover on that day: and they
came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:
04-9:10 Speak
unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity
shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he
shall keep the passover unto the LORD.
04-9:11 The
fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep
it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
04-9:12 They
shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to
all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep
it.
04-9:13 But
the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off
from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his
appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
04-9:14 And
if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep
the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and
according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance,
both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
04-18:3 And
they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of
all the tabernacle: only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary
and the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die.
04-18:4 And
they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the
charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the service of the
tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.
04-18:5 And
ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and
the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the children of
Israel.
04-18:7 Therefore
thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your
priest’s office for every thing of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall
serve: I have given your priest’s office unto you as a service of gift: and the
stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
04-29:12 And
on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye
shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep a
feast unto the LORD seven days:
04-31:18 But
all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.
04-31:30 And
of the children of Israel’s half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the
persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of
beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep
the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.
04-36:7 So
shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe:
for every one of the children of Israel shall keep
himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
04-36:9 Neither
shall the inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; but every one of
the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep himself
to his own inheritance.
05-4:2 Ye
shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish
ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments
of the LORD your God which I command you.
05-4:6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom
and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these
statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
05-4:9 Only
take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently,
lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart
from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’
sons;
05-4:40 Thou
shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his
commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and
with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the
earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.
05-5:1 And
Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and
judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.
05-5:10 And
shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep
my commandments.
05-5:12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy
God hath commanded thee.
05-5:15 And
remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy
God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm:
therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep
the sabbath day.
05-5:29 O
that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well
with them, and with their children for ever!
05-6:2 That
thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all
his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and
thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
05-6:17 Ye
shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD
your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
05-7:8 But
because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep
the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out
with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand
of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
05-7:9 Know
therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth
covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep
his commandments to a thousand generations;
05-7:11 Thou
shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the
statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.
05-7:12 Wherefore
it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he
sware unto thy fathers:
05-8:2 And
thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty
years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in
thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his
commandments, or no.
05-8:6 Therefore
thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy
God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
05-10:13 To
keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes,
which I command thee this day for thy good?
05-11:1 Therefore
thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his
charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.
05-11:8 Therefore
shall ye keep all the commandments which I
command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land,
whither ye go to possess it;
05-11:22 For
if ye shall diligently keep all these
commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to
walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;
05-13:4 Ye
shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep
his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto
him.
05-13:18 When
thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that
which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.
05-16:1 Observe
the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto
the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth
out of Egypt by night.
05-16:10 And
thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD
thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt
give unto the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
05-16:15 Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.
05-17:19 And
it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that
he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep
all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:
05-19:9 If
thou shalt keep all these commandments to do
them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever
in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these
three:
05-23:9 When
the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep
thee from every wicked thing.
05-23:23 That
which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep
and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the
LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
05-26:16 This
day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments:
thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all
thine heart, and with all thy soul.
05-26:17 Thou
hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments,
and to hearken unto his voice:
05-26:18 And
the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath
promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all
his commandments;
05-27:1 And
Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this
day.
05-28:9 The
LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto
thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the
LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
05-28:45 Moreover
all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake
thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of
the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and
his statutes which he commanded thee:
05-29:9 Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do
them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.
05-30:10 If
thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are
written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with
all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
05-30:16 In
that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and
to keep his commandments and his statutes and
his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall
bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
06-6:18 And
ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the
accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed
thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
06-10:18 And
Joshua said, Roll great stones upon the mouth of the cave, and set men by it
for to keep them:
06-22:5 But
take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of
the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways,
and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto
him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
06-23:6 Be
ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all
that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside
therefrom to the right hand or to the left;
07-2:22 That
through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep
the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.
07-3:19 But
he himself turned again from the quarries that were by Gilgal, and said, I have
a secret errand unto thee, O king: who said, Keep
silence. And all that stood by him went out from him.
08-2:21 And
Ruth the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all
my harvest.
09-2:9 He
will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked
shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
09-7:1 And
the men of Kirjathjearim came, and fetched up the ark of the LORD, and brought
it into the house of Abinadab in the hill, and sanctified Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the LORD.
10-8:2 And
he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground;
even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And so the Moabites became David’s
servants, and brought gifts.
10-15:16 And
the king went forth, and all his household after him. And the king left ten
women, which were concubines, to keep the house.
10-16:21 And
Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father’s concubines, which he hath
left to keep the house; and all Israel shall
hear that thou art abhorred of thy father: then shall the hands of all that are
with thee be strong.
10-18:18 Now
Absalom in his lifetime had taken and reared up for himself a pillar, which is
in the king’s dale: for he said, I have no son to keep
my name in remembrance: and he called the pillar after his own name: and it is
called unto this day, Absalom’s place.
10-20:3 And
David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the king took the ten women his
concubines, whom he had left to keep the house,
and put them in ward, and fed them, but went not in unto them. So they were
shut up unto the day of their death, living in widowhood.
11-2:3 And
keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in
his ways, to keep his statutes, and his
commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the
law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and
whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
11-3:14 And
if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my
statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will
lengthen thy days.
11-6:12 Concerning
this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and
execute my judgments, and keep all my
commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I
spake unto David thy father:
11-8:25 Therefore
now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant
David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a
man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed
to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.
11-8:58 That
he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments,
which he commanded our fathers.
11-8:61 Let
your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes,
and to keep his commandments, as at this day.
11-9:4 And
if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart,
and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt
keep my statutes and my judgments:
11-9:6 But
if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set
before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:
11-11:33 Because
that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the
Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of
Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes,
and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did
David his father.
11-11:38 And
it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk
in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep
my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with
thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel
unto thee.
11-20:39 And
as the king passed by, he cried unto the king: and he said, Thy servant went
out into the midst of the battle; and, behold, a man turned aside, and brought
a man unto me, and said, Keep this man: if by
any means he be missing, then shall thy life be for his life, or else thou
shalt pay a talent of silver.
12-11:6 And
a third part shall be at the gate of Sur; and a third part at the gate behind
the guard: so shall ye keep the watch of the
house, that it be not broken down.
12-11:7 And
two parts of all you that go forth on the sabbath, even they shall keep the watch of the house of the LORD about the
king.
12-17:13 Yet
the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and
by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all
the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants
the prophets.
12-23:3 And
the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after
the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his
testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to
perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the
people stood to the covenant.
12-23:21 And
the king commanded all the people, saying, Keep
the passover unto the LORD your God, as it is written in the book of this
covenant.
13-4:10 And
Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me
indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that
thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not
grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
13-12:33 Of
Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all instruments of
war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: they
were not of double heart.
13-12:38 All
these men of war, that could keep rank, came
with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the
rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.
13-22:12 Only
the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning
Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the
LORD thy God.
13-23:32 And
that they should keep the charge of the
tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy place, and the
charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the
LORD.
13-28:8 Now
therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the
audience of our God, keep and seek for all the
commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may possess this good land, and
leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.
13-29:18 O
LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart
of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:
13-29:19 And
give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep
thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these
things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.
14-6:16 Now
therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy
servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall
not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that
thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked
before me.
14-13:11 And
they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and
sweet incense: the shewbread also set they in order upon the pure table; and
the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge of the LORD our God; but ye have
forsaken him.
14-22:9 And
he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and
brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because,
said they, he is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his
heart. So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep
still the kingdom.
14-23:6 But
let none come into the house of the LORD, save the priests, and they that
minister of the Levites; they shall go in, for they are holy: but all the
people shall keep the watch of the LORD.
14-28:10 And
now ye purpose to keep under the children of
Judah and Jerusalem for bondmen and bondwomen unto you: but are there not with
you, even with you, sins against the LORD your God?
14-30:1 And
Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and
Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.
14-30:2 For
the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in
Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second
month.
14-30:3 For
they could not keep it at that time, because the
priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people
gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
14-30:5 So
they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from
Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep
the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it
of a long time in such sort as it was written.
14-30:13 And
there assembled at Jerusalem much people to keep
the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great congregation.
14-30:23 And
the whole assembly took counsel to keep other
seven days: and they kept other seven days with gladness.
14-34:31 And
the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after
the LORD, and to keep his commandments, and his
testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to
perform the words of the covenant which are written in this book.
14-35:16 So
all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon
the altar of the LORD, according to the commandment of king Josiah.
14-35:18 And
there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the
prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel keep
such a passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah
and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
15-8:29 Watch
ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before
the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel,
at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.
16-1:9 But
if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments,
and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the
heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place
that I have chosen to set my name there.
16-12:27 And
at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all
their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep
the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with
cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.
16-13:22 And
I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they
should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the
sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me
according to the greatness of thy mercy.
17-3:8 And
Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and
dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws
are diverse from all people; neither keep they
the king’s laws: therefore it is not for the king’s profit to suffer them.
17-9:21 To
stablish this among them, that they should keep
the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same,
yearly,
17-9:27 The
Jews ordained, and took upon them, and upon their seed, and upon all such as
joined themselves unto them, so as it should not fail, that they would keep these two days according to their writing, and
according to their appointed time every year;
18-14:13 O
that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou
wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
18-20:13 Though
he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it
still within his mouth:
19-12:7 Thou
shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve
them from this generation for ever.
19-17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the
shadow of thy wings,
19-19:13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let
them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be
innocent from the great transgression.
19-22:29 All
they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the
dust shall bow before him: and none can keep
alive his own soul.
19-25:10 All
the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep
his covenant and his testimonies.
19-25:20 O
keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be
ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
19-31:20 Thou
shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt
keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife
of tongues.
19-33:19 To
deliver their soul from death, and to keep them
alive in famine.
