I,266 Israel
27-Daniel
28-1:1 The
word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah,
Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of
Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
28-1:4 And
the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of
Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the
house of Israel.
28-1:5 And
it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.
28-1:6 And
she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have
mercy upon the house of Israel; but
I will utterly take them away.
28-1:10 Yet
the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be
measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
28-1:11 Then
shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one
head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.
28-3:1 Then
said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD
toward the children of Israel, who
look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.
28-3:4 For
the children of Israel shall
abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice,
and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:
28-3:5 Afterward
shall the children of Israel
return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the
LORD and his goodness in the latter days.
28-4:1 Hear
the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the
inhabitants of the land, because there is
no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
28-4:15 Though
thou, Israel, play
the harlot, yet let not Judah offend;
and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to Bethaven, nor swear, The LORD
liveth.
28-4:16 For
Israel slideth back as a
backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place.
28-5:1 Hear
ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for
judgment is toward you, because ye
have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
28-5:3 I
know Ephraim, and Israel is
not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.
28-5:5 And
the pride of Israel doth
testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also
shall fall with them.
28-5:9 Ephraim
shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which
shall surely be.
28-6:10 I
have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the
whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is
defiled.
28-7:1 When
I would have healed Israel, then
the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they
commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and
the troop of robbers spoileth without.
28-7:10 And
the pride of Israel
testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek
him for all this.
28-8:2 Israel shall cry unto me, My God,
we know thee.
28-8:3 Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall
pursue him.
28-8:6 For
from Israel was it also: the workman made it;
therefore it is not God: but the calf
of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.
28-8:8 Israel is swallowed up: now shall
they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.
28-8:14 For
Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and
buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a
fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.
28-9:1 Rejoice
not, O Israel, for
joy, as other people: for thou hast
gone a whoring from thy God, thou hast loved a reward upon every cornfloor.
28-9:7 The
days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is
mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.
28-9:10 I
found Israel like
grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree
at her first time: but they went to
Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that
shame; and their abominations
were according as they loved.
28-10:1 Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according
to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the
goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
28-10:6 It
shall be also carried unto Assyria for a
present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.
28-10:8 The
high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle
shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us;
and to the hills, Fall on us.
28-10:9 O
Israel, thou hast sinned from the
days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of
iniquity did not overtake them.
28-10:15 So
shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall
the king of Israel
utterly be cut off.
28-11:1 When
Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
28-11:8 How
shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall
I deliver thee, Israel? how
shall I make thee as Admah? how shall
I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled
together.
28-11:12 Ephraim
compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and
is faithful with the saints.
28-12:12 And
Jacob fled into the country of Syria, and Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheep.
28-12:13 And
by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.
28-13:1 When
Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.
28-13:9 O
Israel, thou hast destroyed
thyself; but in me is thine help.
28-14:1 O
Israel, return unto the LORD thy
God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
28-14:5 I
will be as the dew unto Israel: he
shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
29-2:27 And
ye shall know that I am in the midst
of Israel, and that I am the LORD your
God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
29-3:2 I
will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of
Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and
parted my land.
29-3:16 The
LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the
heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of
Israel.
30-1:1 The
words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of
Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the
earthquake.
30-2:6 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they
sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;
30-2:11 And
I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.
30-3:1 Hear
this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family
which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
30-3:12 Thus
saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs,
or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner
of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.
30-3:14 That
in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Bethel:
and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.
30-4:5 And
offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this
liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
30-4:12 Therefore
thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee,
prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
30-5:1 Hear
ye this word which I take up against you, even
a lamentation, O house of Israel.
30-5:2 The
virgin of Israel is
fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up.
30-5:3 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the
house of Israel.
30-5:4 For
thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
30-5:25 Have
ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O
house of Israel?
30-6:1 Woe
to them that are at ease in Zion, and
trust in the mountain of Samaria, which
are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!
30-6:14 But,
behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, saith the LORD the God of
hosts; and they shall afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river
of the wilderness.
30-7:8 And
the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then
said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by
them any more:
30-7:9 And
the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I
will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.
30-7:10 Then
Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the
midst of the house of Israel: the
land is not able to bear all his words.
30-7:11 For
thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their
own land.
30-7:15 And
the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go,
prophesy unto my people Israel.
30-7:16 Now
therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.
30-7:17 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and
thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line;
and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his
land.
30-8:2 And
he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said
the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.
30-9:7 Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians
unto me, O children of Israel?
saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines
from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
30-9:9 For,
lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon
the earth.
30-9:14 And
I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and
inhabit them; and they shall plant
vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat
the fruit of them.
31-1:20 And
the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall
possess that of the Canaanites, even unto
Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south.
33-1:5 For
the transgression of Jacob is all
this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the
transgression of Jacob? is it not
Samaria? and what are the high places
of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
33-1:13 O
thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the
daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
33-1:14 Therefore
shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
33-1:15 Yet
will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto
Adullam the glory of Israel.
33-2:12 I
will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of
Israel; I will put them together as
the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make
great noise by reason of the multitude of
men.
33-3:1 And
I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
33-3:8 But
truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of
might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
33-3:9 Hear
this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and
pervert all equity.
33-5:1 Now
gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us:
they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
33-5:2 But
thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou
be little among the thousands of Judah, yet
out of thee shall he come forth unto me that
is to be ruler in Israel; whose
goings forth have been from of old,
from everlasting.
33-5:3 Therefore
will he give them up, until the time that
she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren
shall return unto the children of Israel.
33-6:2 Hear
ye, O mountains, the LORD’S controversy, and ye strong foundations of the
earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.
34-2:2 For
the LORD hath turned away the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel: for the emptiers have
emptied them out, and marred their vine branches.
36-2:9 Therefore
as I live, saith the LORD of hosts,
the God of Israel, Surely
Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and
saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil
them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.
36-3:13 The
remnant of Israel shall
not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in
their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
36-3:14 Sing,
O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O
daughter of Jerusalem.
36-3:15 The
LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the
midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
38-1:19 And
I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
38-8:13 And
it shall come to pass, that as ye
were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye
shall be a blessing: fear not, but let
your hands be strong.
38-9:1 The
burden of the word of the LORD in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the eyes
of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, shall be toward
the LORD.
38-11:14 Then
I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands,
that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
38-12:1 The
burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the
heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man
within him.
39-1:1 The
burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.
39-1:5 And
your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the
border of Israel.
39-2:11 Judah
hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah
hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the
daughter of a strange god.
39-2:16 For
the LORD, the God of Israel, saith
that he hateth putting away: for one covereth
violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your
spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
39-4:4 Remember
ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
40-2:6 And thou
Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art
not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor,
that shall rule my people Israel.
40-2:20 Saying,
Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which
sought the young child’s life.
40-2:21 And he
arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.
40-8:10 When
Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and
said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great
faith, no, not in Israel.
40-9:33 And when
the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying,
It was never so seen in Israel.
40-10:6 But go
rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
40-10:23 But when
they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto
you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
40-15:24 But he
answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
40-15:31 Insomuch
that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be
whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
40-19:28 And Jesus
said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the
regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also
shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
40-27:9 Then was
fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took
the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the
children of Israel did
value;
40-27:42 He saved
others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we
will believe him.
41-12:29 And Jesus answered
him, The first of all the commandments is,
Hear, O Israel; The
Lord our God is one Lord:
41-15:32 Let Christ
the King of Israel
descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were
crucified with him reviled him.
42-1:16 And many
of the children of Israel shall
he turn to the Lord their God.
42-1:54 He hath
holpen his servant Israel, in
remembrance of his mercy;
42-1:68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and
redeemed his people,
42-1:80 And the
child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of
his shewing unto Israel.
42-2:25 And, behold,
there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was
Simeon; and the same man was just
and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
42-2:32 A light
to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
42-2:34 And
Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising
again of many in Israel; and
for a sign which shall be spoken against;
42-4:25 But I
tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut
up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
42-4:27 And many
lepers were in Israel in
the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman
the Syrian.
42-7:9 When
Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said
unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great
faith, no, not in Israel.
42-22:30 That ye
may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the
twelve tribes of Israel.
42-24:21 But we
trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day
since these things were done.
43-1:31 And I knew
him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
43-1:49 Nathanael
answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King
of Israel.
43-3:10 Jesus
answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
43-12:13 Took
branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed
is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of
the Lord.
44-1:6 When they
therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at
this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
44-2:22 Ye men of
Israel, hear these words; Jesus of
Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs,
which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
44-2:36 Therefore
let all the house of Israel know
assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both
Lord and Christ.
44-3:12 And when
Peter saw it, he answered unto the
people, Ye men of Israel, why
marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own
power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
44-4:8 Then
Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and
elders of Israel,
44-4:10 Be it
known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,
whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
44-4:27 For of a
truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and
Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
44-5:21 And when
they heard that, they entered into
the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they
that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the
children of Israel, and
sent to the prison to have them brought.
44-5:31 Him hath
God exalted with his right hand to be a
Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel,
and forgiveness of sins.
44-5:35 And said
unto them, Ye men of Israel, take
heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.
44-7:23 And when
he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the
children of Israel.
44-7:37 This is
that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto
you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.
44-7:42 Then God
turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the
book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and
sacrifices by the space of forty
years in the wilderness?
44-9:15 But the Lord
said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name
before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
44-10:36 The word
which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus
Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
44-13:16 Then Paul
stood up, and beckoning with his hand
said, Men of Israel, and
ye that fear God, give audience.
44-13:17 The God of
this people of Israel chose
our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of
Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.
44-13:23 Of this
man’s seed hath God according to his promise
raised unto Israel a
Saviour, Jesus:
44-13:24 When John
had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the
people of Israel.
44-21:28 Crying
out, Men of Israel,
help: This is the man, that teacheth all men
every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further
brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.
44-28:20 For this
cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because
that for the hope of Israel I am
bound with this chain.
45-9:6 Not as
though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel,
which are of Israel:
45-9:27 Esaias
also crieth concerning Israel,
Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be
saved:
45-9:31 But Israel, which followed after the
law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
45-10:1 Brethren,
my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
45-10:19 But I say,
Did not Israel know?
First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by
a foolish nation I will anger you.
45-10:21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I
have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
45-11:2 God hath
not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith
of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
45-11:7 What
then? Israel hath
not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and
the rest were blinded
45-11:25 For I
would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should
be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the
Gentiles be come in.
45-11:26 And so all
Israel shall be saved: as it is
written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away
ungodliness from Jacob:
46-10:18 Behold
Israel after the flesh: are not
they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?
47-3:7 But
if the ministration of death, written and
engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold
the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
47-3:13 And
not as Moses, which put a vail over
his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that
which is abolished:
48-6:16 And as
many as walk according to this rule, peace be
on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
49-2:12 That at that
time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the
covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
50-3:5 Circumcised
the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the
tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
58-8:8 For
finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when
