01-4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And
unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
01-4:24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech
seventy and sevenfold.
01-8:8 Also
he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the
waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
01-13:9 Is
not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the
right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then
I will go to the left.
01-13:16 And
I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if
a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
01-15:5 And
he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the
stars, if thou be able to number them: and he
said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
01-18:3 And
said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy
sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
01-18:21 I
will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the
cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I
will know.
01-18:26 And
the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty
righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
01-18:28 Peradventure
there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city
for lack of five? And he said, If I find there
forty and five, I will not destroy it.
01-18:30 And
he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure
there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.
01-20:7 Now
therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for
thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore
her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.
01-23:8 And
he communed with them, saying, If it be your
mind that I should bury my dead out of my sight; hear me, and intreat for me to
Ephron the son of Zohar,
01-23:13 And
he spake unto Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, But if thou wilt give it, I pray thee, hear me: I will
give thee money for the field; take it of me, and I will bury my dead there.
01-24:8 And
if the woman will not be willing to follow thee,
then thou shalt be clear from this my oath: only bring not my son thither
again.
01-24:41 Then
shalt thou be clear from this my oath, when thou comest to my kindred; and if they give not thee one, thou shalt be clear from my
oath.
01-24:42 And
I came this day unto the well, and said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, if now thou do prosper my way which I go:
01-24:49 And
now if ye will deal kindly and truly with my
master, tell me: and if not, tell me; that I may
turn to the right hand, or to the left.
01-25:22 And
the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of
the LORD.
01-27:46 And
Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as

again feed and keep thy flock.
01-31:8 If he said thus, The speckled shall be thy wages; then
all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said
thus, The ringstraked shall be thy hire; then bare all the cattle ringstraked.
01-31:50 If thou shalt afflict my daughters, or if thou shalt take other wives beside my daughters, no
man is with us; see, God is witness betwixt me and thee.
01-32:8 And
said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite
it, then the other company which is left shall escape.
01-33:10 And
Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have
found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I
have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased
with me.
01-33:13 And
he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks
and herds with young are with me: and if men
should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.
01-34:15 But
in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be
as we be, that every male of you be circumcised;
01-34:17 But
if ye will not hearken unto us, to be
circumcised; then will we take our daughter, and we will be gone.
01-34:22 Only
herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are
circumcised.
01-37:26 And
Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if
we slay our brother, and conceal his blood?
01-42:19 If ye be true men, let one of your brethren be bound
in the house of your prison: go ye, carry corn for the famine of your houses:

their father Israel said unto them, If it must
be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and
carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and
myrrh, nuts, and almonds:

God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other
brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my
children, I am bereaved.
01-44:22 And
we said unto my lord, The lad cannot leave his father: for if he should leave his father, his father would die.
01-44:26 And
we said, We cannot go down: if our youngest
brother be with us, then will we go down: for we may not see the man’s face,
except our youngest brother be with us.
01-44:29 And
if ye take this also from me, and mischief
befall him, ye shall bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.
01-44:32 For
thy servant became surety for the lad unto my father, saying, If I bring him not unto thee, then I shall bear the

he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them
upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall
kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she

02-4:8 And
it shall come to pass, if they will not believe
thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe
the voice of the latter sign.
02-4:9 And
it shall come to pass, if they will not believe
also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of
the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou
takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.
02-4:23 And
I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy
son, even thy firstborn.
02-8:2 And
if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will
smite all thy borders with frogs:
02-8:21 Else,
if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I
will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy
people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of
swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.
02-9:2 For
if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold
them still,
02-10:4 Else,
if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to
morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast:
02-12:4 And
if the household be too little for the lamb, let
him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of
the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the
lamb.
02-13:13 And
every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his
neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.
02-15:26 And
said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the
voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt
give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of
these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the
LORD that healeth thee.
02-18:23 If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so,
then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their
place in peace.
02-19:5 Now
therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and
keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all
people: for all the earth is mine:
02-20:25 And
if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou
shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou
lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.
02-21:2 If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall
serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.
02-21:3 If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with
him.
02-21:4 If his master have given him a wife, and she have born
him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master’s, and he
shall go out by himself.
02-21:5 And
if the servant shall plainly say, I love my
master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:
02-21:7 And
if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant,
she shall not go out as the menservants do.
02-21:8 If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her
to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange
nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.
02-21:9 And
if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall
deal with her after the manner of daughters.
02-21:10 If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment,
and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.
02-21:11 And
if he do not these three unto her, then shall
she go out free without money.
02-21:13 And
if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him
into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee.
02-21:14 But
if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour,
to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.
02-21:16 And
he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if
he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.
02-21:18 And
if men strive together, and one smite another
with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keepeth his bed:
02-21:19 If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then
shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time,
and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.
02-21:20 And
if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a
rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
02-21:21 Notwithstanding,
if he continue a day or two, he shall not be
punished: for he is his money.
02-21:22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that
her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely
punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay
as the judges determine.
02-21:23 And
if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give
life for life,
02-21:26 And
if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the
eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye’s sake.
02-21:27 And
if he smite out his manservant’s tooth, or his
maidservant’s tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth’s sake.
02-21:28 If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then
the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner
of the ox shall be quit.
02-21:29 But
if the ox were wont to push with his horn in
time past, and it hath been testified to his owner, and he hath not kept him
in, but that he hath killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his
owner also shall be put to death.
02-21:30 If there be laid on him a sum of money, then he shall
give for the ransom of his life whatsoever is laid upon him.
02-21:32 If the ox shall push a manservant or a maidservant; he
shall give unto their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.
02-21:33 And
if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit, and not cover it, and an ox
or an ass fall therein;
02-21:35 And
if one man’s ox hurt another’s, that he die; then
they shall sell the live ox, and divide the money of it; and the dead ox also
they shall divide.
02-21:36 Or
if it be known that the ox hath used to push in
time past, and his owner hath not kept him in; he shall surely pay ox for ox;
and the dead shall be his own.
02-22:1 If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it,
or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.
02-22:2 If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that
he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.
02-22:3 If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood
shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if
he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
02-22:4 If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive,
whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.
02-22:5 If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten,
and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man’s field; of the best
of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.
02-22:6 If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the
stacks of corn, or the standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith; he
that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
02-22:7 If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or
stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man’s house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.
02-22:8 If the thief be not found, then the master of the
house shall be brought unto the judges, to see whether he have put his hand
unto his neighbour’s goods.
02-22:10 If a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass, or an ox,
or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no
man seeing it:
02-22:12 And
if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution
unto the owner thereof.
02-22:13 If it be torn in pieces, then let him bring it for
witness, and he shall not make good that which was torn.
02-22:14 And
if a man borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be
hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it
good.
02-22:15 But
if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not
make it good: if it be an hired thing, it came
for his hire.
02-22:16 And
if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed,
and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.
02-22:17 If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he
shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.
02-22:23 If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all
unto me, I will surely hear their cry;
02-22:25 If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by
thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him
usury.
02-22:26 If thou at all take thy neighbour’s raiment to pledge,
thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down:
02-23:4 If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray,
thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
02-23:5 If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying
under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with
him.
02-23:22 But
if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all
that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto
thine adversaries.
02-23:33 They
shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare
unto thee.
02-24:14 And
he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you:
and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any
man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.
02-29:34 And
if ought of the flesh of the consecrations, or
of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with
fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
02-32:32 Yet
now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which
thou hast written.
02-33:13 Now
therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in
thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in
thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
02-33:15 And
he said unto him, If thy presence go not with
me, carry us not up hence.
02-34:9 And
he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight,
O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people;
and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
02-34:20 But
the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his
neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear
before me empty.
02-40:37 But
if the cloud were not taken up, then they
journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
03-1:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If
any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of
the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.
03-1:3 If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let
him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will
at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
03-1:10 And
if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the
sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without
blemish.
03-1:14 And
if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the
LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young
pigeons.
03-2:4 And
if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering
baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil,
or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
03-2:5 And
if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in a
pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.
03-2:7 And
if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in the
fryingpan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
03-2:14 And
if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits
unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green
ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.
03-3:1 And
if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace
offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it
be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.
03-3:6 And
if his offering for a sacrifice of peace
offering unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it
without blemish.
03-3:7 If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he
offer it before the LORD.
03-3:12 And
if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer
it before the LORD.
03-4:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul
shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD
concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
03-4:3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the
sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a
young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
03-4:13 And
if the whole congregation of Israel sin through
ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have
done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things
which should not be done, and are guilty;
03-4:23 Or
if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his
knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without
blemish:
03-4:27 And
if any one of the common people sin through
ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD
concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
03-4:28 Or
if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his
knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female
without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.
03-4:32 And
if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall
bring it a female without blemish.
03-5:1 And
if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing,
and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if
he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
03-5:2 Or
if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be
a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase
of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden
from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
03-5:3 Or
if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever
uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him;
when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
03-5:4 Or
if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do
evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath,
and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one
of these.
03-5:7 And
if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall
bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young
pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt
offering.
03-5:11 But
if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or
two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth
part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it,
neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.
03-5:15 If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance,
in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the
LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of
silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:
03-5:17 And
if a soul sin, and commit any of these things
which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist
it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
03-6:2 If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD,
and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in
fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his
neighbour;
03-6:28 But
the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both
scoured, and rinsed in water.
03-7:12 If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer
with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and
unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour,
fried.
03-7:16 But
if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a
voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his
sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:
03-7:18 And
if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his
peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted,
neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an
abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.
03-10:19 And
Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering
and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things have befallen me: and
if I had eaten the sin offering to day, should
it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?
03-11:37 And
if any part of their carcase fall upon any
sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.
03-11:38 But
if any water be put upon the seed, and any part
of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.
03-11:39 And
if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that
toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.
03-12:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman
have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days;
according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
03-12:5 But
if she bear a maid child, then she shall be
unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of
her purifying threescore and six days.
03-12:8 And
if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she
shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering,
and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for
her, and she shall be clean.
03-13:4 If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh,
and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned
white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:
03-13:5 And
the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the
plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days
more:
03-13:6 And
the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread
not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he
shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
03-13:7 But
if the scab spread much abroad in the skin,
after that he hath been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen
of the priest again:
03-13:8 And
if the priest see that, behold, the scab
spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a
leprosy.
03-13:10 And
the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the
rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be
quick raw flesh in the rising;
03-13:12 And
if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and
the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even
to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;
03-13:13 Then
the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the
leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the
plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.
03-13:16 Or
if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto
white, he shall come unto the priest;
03-13:17 And
the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the
plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that
hath the plague: he is clean.
03-13:20 And
if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it be in
sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest
shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.
03-13:21 But
if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be
no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower
than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven
days:
03-13:22 And
if it spread much abroad in the skin, then the
priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.
03-13:23 But
if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread
not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
03-13:24 Or
if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there
is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot,
somewhat reddish, or white;
03-13:25 Then
the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if
the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the
skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall
pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
03-13:26 But
if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be
no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but
be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
03-13:27 And
the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if
it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him
unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
03-13:28 And
if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread
not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and
the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.
03-13:29 If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the
beard;
03-13:30 Then
the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if
it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair;
then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy
upon the head or beard.
03-13:31 And
if the priest look on the plague of the scall,
and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no
black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the
scall seven days:
03-13:32 And
in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall spread not, and there be in it no yellow
hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;
03-13:34 And
in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, nor be in
sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he
shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
03-13:35 But
if the scall spread much in the skin after his
cleansing;
03-13:36 Then
the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if
the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he
is unclean.
03-13:37 But
if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that
there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the
priest shall pronounce him clean.
03-13:38 If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their
flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;
03-13:39 Then
the priest shall look: and, behold, if the
bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot
that groweth in the skin; he is clean.
03-13:42 And
if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead,
a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald
forehead.
03-13:43 Then
the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if
the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald
forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;
03-13:49 And
if the plague be greenish or reddish in the
garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of
skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:
03-13:51 And
he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if
the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in
a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy;
it is unclean.
03-13:53 And
if the priest shall look, and, behold, the
plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in
any thing of skin;
03-13:55 And
the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the
plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is fret
inward, whether it be bare within or without.
03-13:56 And
if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be
somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the
garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:
03-13:57 And
if it appear still in the garment, either in the
warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: thou
shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.
03-13:58 And
the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which
thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from
them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.
03-14:3 And
the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and,
behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in
the leper;
03-14:21 And
if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he
shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement
for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering,
and a log of oil;
03-14:37 And
he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the
plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish,
which in sight are lower than the wall;
03-14:39 And
the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;
03-14:43 And
if the plague come again, and break out in the
house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the
house, and after it is plaistered;
03-14:44 Then
the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if
the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house: it is
unclean.
03-14:48 And
if the priest shall come in, and look upon it,
and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was
plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague
is healed.
03-15:8 And
if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is
clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be
unclean until the even.
03-15:16 And
if any man’s seed of copulation go out from him,
then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.
03-15:19 And
if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her
flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her
shall be unclean until the even.
03-15:23 And
if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she
sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.
03-15:24 And
if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers
be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth
shall be unclean.
03-15:25 And
if a woman have an issue of her blood many days
out of the time of her separation, or if it run
beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness
shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.
03-15:28 But
if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall
number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.
03-17:16 But
if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then
he shall bear his iniquity.
03-18:5 Ye
shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.
03-19:5 And
if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto
the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.
03-19:6 It
shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt
in the fire.
03-19:7 And
if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is
abominable; it shall not be accepted.
03-19:33 And
if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye
shall not vex him.
03-20:4 And
if the people of the land do any ways hide their
eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
03-20:12 And
if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of
them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood
shall be upon them.
03-20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a
woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to
death; their blood shall be upon them.
03-20:14 And
if a man take a wife and her mother, it is
wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no
wickedness among you.
03-20:15 And
if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be
put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
03-20:16 And
if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down
thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to
death; their blood shall be upon them.
03-20:17 And
if a man shall take his sister, his father’s
daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his
nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of
their people: he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his
iniquity.
03-20:18 And
if a man shall lie with a woman having her
sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and
she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off
from among their people.
03-20:20 And
if a man shall lie with his uncle’s wife, he
hath uncovered his uncle’s nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die
childless.
03-20:21 And
if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is an
unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother’s nakedness; they shall be
childless.
03-21:9 And
the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself
by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
03-22:9 They
shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die
therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do
sanctify them.
03-22:11 But
if the priest buy any soul with his money, he
shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat.
03-22:12 If the priest’s daughter also be married unto a
stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.
03-22:13 But
if the priest’s daughter be a widow, or
divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father’s house, as in her
youth, she shall eat of her father’s meat: but there shall no stranger eat
thereof.
03-22:14 And
if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then
he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest
with the holy thing.
03-24:19 And
if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he
hath done, so shall it be done to him;
03-25:14 And
if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest
ought of thy neighbour’s hand, ye shall not oppress one another:
03-25:20 And
if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh
year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:
03-25:25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some
of his possession, and if any of his kin come to
redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.
03-25:26 And
if the man have none to redeem it, and himself
be able to redeem it;
03-25:28 But
if he be not able to restore it to him, then
that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until
the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto
his possession.
03-25:29 And
if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city,
then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year
may he redeem it.
03-25:30 And
if it be not redeemed within the space of a full
year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to
him that bought it throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the
jubile.
03-25:33 And
if a man purchase of the Levites, then the house
that was sold, and the city of his possession, shall go out in the year of
jubile: for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among
the children of Israel.
03-25:35 And
if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in
decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or
a sojourner; that he may live with thee.
03-25:39 And
if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen
poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a
bondservant:
03-25:47 And
if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and
thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger
or sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger’s family:
03-25:49 Either
his uncle, or his uncle’s son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto
him of his family may redeem him; or if he be
able, he may redeem himself.
03-25:51 If there be yet many years behind, according unto them
he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the money that he was
bought for.
03-25:52 And
if there remain but few years unto the year of
jubile, then he shall count with him, and according unto his years shall he
give him again the price of his redemption.
03-25:54 And
if he be not redeemed in these years, then he
shall go out in the year of jubile, both he, and his children with him.
03-26:3 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments,
and do them;
03-26:14 But
if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do
all these commandments;
03-26:15 And
if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not
do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:
03-26:18 And
if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me,
then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
03-26:21 And
if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not
hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to
your sins.
03-26:23 And
if ye will not be reformed by me by these
things, but will walk contrary unto me;
03-26:27 And
if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but
walk contrary unto me;
03-26:40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity
of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and
that also they have walked contrary unto me;
03-26:41 And
that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land
of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised
hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
03-27:4 And
if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be
thirty shekels.
03-27:5 And
if it be from five years old even unto twenty
years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the
female ten shekels.
03-27:6 And
if it be from a month old even unto five years
old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for
the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.
03-27:7 And
if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen
shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
03-27:8 But
if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he
shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him;
according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.
03-27:9 And
if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering
unto the LORD, all that any man giveth of such unto the LORD shall be holy.
03-27:10 He
shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and
the exchange thereof shall be holy.
03-27:11 And
if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not
offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the
priest:
03-27:13 But
if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a
fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.
03-27:15 And
if he that sanctified it will redeem his house,
then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it
shall be his.
03-27:16 And
if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some part of
a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed
thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.
03-27:17 If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile,
according to thy estimation it shall stand.
03-27:18 But
if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then
the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain,
even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.
03-27:19 And
if he that sanctified the field will in any wise
redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto
it, and it shall be assured to him.
03-27:20 And
if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not
be redeemed any more.
03-27:22 And
if a man sanctify unto the LORD a field which he
hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession;
03-27:27 And
if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall
redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it
thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall
be sold according to thy estimation.
03-27:31 And
if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes,
he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.
03-27:33 He
shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change
thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.
04-5:8 But
if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass
unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside
the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.
04-5:12 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If
any man’s wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,
04-5:14 And
the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be
defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon
him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:
04-5:19 And
the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with
another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that
causeth the curse:
04-5:20 But
if thou hast gone aside to another instead of
thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some
man have lain with thee beside thine husband:
04-5:27 And
when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her
husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become
bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall
be a curse among her people.
04-5:28 And
if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then
she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.
04-6:9 And
if any man die very suddenly by him, and he hath
defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day
of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.
04-9:10 Speak
unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man
of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in
a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.
04-9:14 And
if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will
keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover,
and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one
ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
04-10:4 And
if they blow but with one trumpet, then the
princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves
unto thee.
04-10:9 And
if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that
oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be
remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.
04-10:32 And
it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall
be, that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto
thee.
04-11:15 And
if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee,
out of hand, if I have found favour in thy
sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.
04-12:6 And
he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet
among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will
speak unto him in a dream.
04-12:14 And
the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but
spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out
from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.
04-14:8 If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into
this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
04-14:15 Now
if thou shalt kill all this people as one man,
then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,
04-15:14 And
if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be
among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a
sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.
04-15:22 And
if ye have erred, and not observed all these
commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses,
04-15:24 Then
it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance
without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer
one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the LORD, with
his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid
of the goats for a sin offering.
04-15:27 And
if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall
bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.
04-16:29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men;
then the LORD hath not sent me.
04-16:30 But
if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open
her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go
down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked
the LORD.
04-19:12 He
shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall
be clean: but if he purify not himself the third
day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
04-20:19 And
the children of Israel said unto him, We will go by the high way: and if I and my cattle drink of thy water, then I will pay
for it: I will only, without doing any thing else, go through on my feet.
04-21:2 And
Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If
thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy
their cities.
04-21:9 And
Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass,
that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he
beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
04-22:18 And
Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If
Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the
word of the LORD my God, to do less or more.
04-22:20 And
God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If
the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I
shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.
04-22:34 And
Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned; for I knew not that thou
stoodest in the way against me: now therefore, if
it displease thee, I will get me back again.
04-24:13 If Balak would give me his house full of silver and
gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad
of mine own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak?
04-27:8 And
thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If
a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto
his daughter.
04-27:9 And
if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his
inheritance unto his brethren.
04-27:10 And
if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance
unto his father’s brethren.
04-27:11 And
if his father have no brethren, then ye shall
give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he
shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment,
as the LORD commanded Moses.
04-30:2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to
bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according
to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
04-30:3 If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind
herself by a bond, being in her father’s house in her youth;
04-30:5 But
if her father disallow her in the day that he
heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her
soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father
disallowed her.
04-30:6 And
if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or
uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
04-30:8 But
if her husband disallowed her on the day that he
heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she
uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the
LORD shall forgive her.
04-30:10 And
if she vowed in her husband’s house, or bound
her soul by a bond with an oath;
04-30:12 But
if her husband hath utterly made them void on
the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her
vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath
made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.
04-30:14 But
if her husband altogether hold his peace at her
from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are
upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that
he heard them.
04-30:15 But
if he shall any ways make them void after that
he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.
04-32:5 Wherefore,
said they, if we have found grace in thy sight,
let this land be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not
over Jordan.
04-32:15 For
if ye turn away from after him, he will yet
again leave them in the wilderness; and ye shall destroy all this people.
04-32:20 And
Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to war,
04-32:23 But
if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned
against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.
04-32:29 And
Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and
the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to
battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye
shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:
04-32:30 But
if they will not pass over with you armed, they
shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.
04-33:55 But
if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the
land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let
remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and
shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
04-35:16 And
if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so
that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
04-35:17 And
if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith
he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to
death.
04-35:18 Or
if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood,
wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely
be put to death.
04-35:20 But
if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by
laying of wait, that he die;
04-35:22 But
if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or
have cast upon him any thing without laying of wait,
04-35:26 But
if the slayer shall at any time come without the
border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled;
04-36:3 And
if they be married to any of the sons of the
other tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken
from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the
tribe whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the lot of our
inheritance.
05-4:29 But
if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God,
thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all
thy heart and with all thy soul.
05-4:30 When
thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the
latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God,
and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
05-5:25 Now
therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more,
then we shall die.
05-6:25 And
it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to
do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
05-7:12 Wherefore
it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these
judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee
the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:
05-7:17 If thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are
more than I; how can I dispossess them?

it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD
thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify
against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken
diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD
your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
05-11:22 For
if ye shall diligently keep all these
commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk
in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;
05-11:27 A
blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the
LORD your God, which I command you this day:
05-11:28 And
a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of
the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day,
to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
05-12:21 If the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to put
his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of
thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou
shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
05-13:1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of
dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
05-13:6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or
thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own
soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou
hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
05-13:12 If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the
LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,
05-13:14 Then
shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination
is wrought among you;
05-14:24 And
if the way be too long for thee, so that thou
art not able to carry it; or if the place be too
far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when
the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
05-15:5 Only
if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the
LORD thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this
day.
05-15:7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy
brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth
thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor
brother:
05-15:12 And
if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew
woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year
thou shalt let him go free from thee.
05-15:16 And
it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go
away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with
thee;
05-15:21 And
if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou
shalt not sacrifice it unto the LORD thy God.
05-17:2 If there be found among you, within any of thy gates
which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness
in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant,
05-17:8 If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment,
between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke,
being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get
thee up into the place which the LORD thy God shall choose;
05-18:6 And
if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of
all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto
the place which the LORD shall choose;
05-18:21 And
if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know
the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
05-18:22 When
a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if
the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath
not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be
afraid of him.
05-19:8 And
if the LORD thy God enlarge thy coast, as he
hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the land which he promised to
give unto thy fathers;
05-19:9 If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them,
which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in
his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:
05-19:11 But
if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for
him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth
into one of these cities:
05-19:16 If a false witness rise up against any man to testify
against him that which is wrong;
05-19:18 And
the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified
falsely against his brother;
05-20:11 And
it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace,
and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein
shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee.
05-20:12 And
if it will make no peace with thee, but will
make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
05-21:1 If one be found slain in the land which the LORD thy God
giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath
slain him:
05-21:14 And
it shall be, if thou have no delight in her,
then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all
for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled
her.
05-21:15 If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another
hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated:
05-21:18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which
will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that,
when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:
05-21:22 And
if a man have committed a sin worthy of death,
and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:
05-22:2 And
if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto
thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and
thou shalt restore it to him again.
05-22:6 If a bird’s nest chance to be before thee in the way
in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam
sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the
young:
05-22:8 When
thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that
thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any
man fall from thence.
05-22:13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate
her,
05-22:20 But
if this thing be true, and the tokens of
virginity be not found for the damsel:
05-22:22 If a man be found lying with a woman married to an
husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the
woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.
05-22:23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an
husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;
05-22:25 But
if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and
the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall
die:
05-22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not
betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
05-23:10 If there be among you any man, that is not clean by
reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out
of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:
05-23:22 But
if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin
in thee.
05-24:3 And
if the latter husband hate her, and write her a
bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his
house; or if the latter husband die, which took
her to be his wife;
05-24:7 If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the
children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that
thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.
05-24:12 And
if the man be poor, thou shalt not sleep with
his pledge:
05-25:1 If there be a controversy between men, and they come
unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the
righteous, and condemn the wicked.
05-25:2 And
it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be
beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his
face, according to his fault, by a certain number.
05-25:3 Forty
stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if
he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother
should seem vile unto thee.
05-25:5 If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and
have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger:
her husband’s brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and
perform the duty of an husband’s brother unto her.
05-25:7 And
if the man like not to take his brother’s wife,
then let his brother’s wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My
husband’s brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he
will not perform the duty of my husband’s brother.
05-25:8 Then
the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her;
05-28:1 And
it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken
diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments
which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high
above all nations of the earth:
05-28:2 And
all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy
God.
05-28:9 The
LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto
thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the
LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
05-28:13 And
the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above
only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that
thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee
this day, to observe and to do them:
05-28:15 But
it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken
unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and
his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come
upon thee, and overtake thee:
05-28:58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this
law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and
fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;
05-30:4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts
of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will
he fetch thee:
05-30:10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy
God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book
of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy

LORD God of gods, the LORD God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if
in transgression against the LORD, (save us not this day,)
06-22:23 That
we have built us an altar to turn from following the LORD, or if to offer thereon burnt offering or meat offering,
or if to offer peace offerings thereon, let the
LORD himself require it;
06-22:24 And
if we have not rather done it for fear of this
thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children,
saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel?
06-23:12 Else
if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the
remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make
marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you:
06-24:15 And
if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD,
choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers
served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites,
in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
06-24:20 If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then
he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you
good.

if not, let fire come out from Abimelech, and
devour the men of Shechem, and the house of Millo; and let fire come out from
the men of Shechem, and from the house of Millo, and devour Abimelech.

so that when those Ephraimites which were escaped said, Let me go over; that
the men of Gilead said unto him, Art thou an Ephraimite? If he said, Nay;

the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat
of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt
offering, thou must offer it unto the LORD. For Manoah knew not that he was an
angel of the LORD.

his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased
to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our
hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this
time have told us such things as these.

come out to dance in dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you
every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.

I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;

thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and
more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if
he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman’s
part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman
to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie
down until the morning.

I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before
the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it,
redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then
tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am
after thee. And he said, I will redeem it.
09-1:11 And
she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if
thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and
not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then
I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no
razor come upon his head.

if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to
burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he
would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force.
09-2:25 If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge
him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who
shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of
their father, because the LORD would slay them.

Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if
he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So
Samuel went and lay down in his place.
09-3:17 And
he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide
it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if
thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee.
09-6:3 And
they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of
Israel, send it not empty; but in any wise return him a trespass offering: then
ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed
from you.
09-6:9 And
see, if it goeth up by the way of his own coast
to Bethshemesh, then he hath done us this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand
that smote us: it was a chance that happened to us.
09-7:3 And
Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If
ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods
and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him
only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
09-9:7 Then
said Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go,
what shall we bring the man? for the bread is spent in our vessels, and there
is not a present to bring to the man of God: what have we?
09-10:22 Therefore
they enquired of the LORD further, if the man
should yet come thither. And the LORD answered, Behold, he hath hid himself
among the stuff.
09-11:3 And
the elders of Jabesh said unto him, Give us seven days’ respite, that we may
send messengers unto all the coasts of Israel: and then, if there be no man to save us, we will come out to
thee.
09-12:14 If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his
voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye
and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:
09-12:15 But
if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but
rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be
against you, as it was against your fathers.
09-12:25 But
if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be
consumed, both ye and your king.
09-14:9 If they say thus unto us, Tarry until we come to you;
then we will stand still in our place, and will not go up unto them.
09-14:10 But
if they say thus, Come up unto us; then we will
go up: for the LORD hath delivered them into our hand: and this shall be a sign
unto us.
09-14:30 How
much more, if haply the people had eaten freely
to day of the spoil of their enemies which they found? for had there not been
now a much greater slaughter among the Philistines?
09-16:2 And
Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he
will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come
to sacrifice to the LORD.
09-17:9 If he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then
will we be your servants: but if I prevail
against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us.
09-19:11 Saul
also sent messengers unto David’s house, to watch him, and to slay him in the
morning: and Michal David’s wife told him, saying, If
thou save not thy life to night, to morrow thou shalt be slain.
09-20:6 If thy father at all miss me, then say, David earnestly
asked leave of me that he might run to Bethlehem his city: for there is a
yearly sacrifice there for all the family.
09-20:7 If he say thus, It is well; thy servant shall have
peace: but if he be very wroth, then be sure
that evil is determined by him.
09-20:8 Therefore
thou shalt deal kindly with thy servant; for thou hast brought thy servant into
a covenant of the LORD with thee: notwithstanding, if
there be in me iniquity, slay me thyself; for why shouldest thou bring me to
thy father?
09-20:9 And
Jonathan said, Far be it from thee: for if I
knew certainly that evil were determined by my father to come upon thee, then
would not I tell it thee?
09-20:10 Then
said David to Jonathan, Who shall tell me? or what if
thy father answer thee roughly?
09-20:12 And
Jonathan said unto David, O LORD God of Israel, when I have sounded my father
about to morrow any time, or the third day, and, behold, if there be good toward David, and I then send not
unto thee, and shew it thee;
09-20:13 The
LORD do so and much more to Jonathan: but if it
please my father to do thee evil, then I will shew it thee, and send thee away,
that thou mayest go in peace: and the LORD be with thee, as he hath been with
my father.
09-20:21 And,
behold, I will send a lad, saying, Go, find out the arrows. If I expressly say unto the lad, Behold, the arrows
are on this side of thee, take them; then come thou: for there is peace to
thee, and no hurt; as the LORD liveth.
09-20:22 But
if I say thus unto the young man, Behold, the
arrows are beyond thee; go thy way: for the LORD hath sent thee away.
09-20:29 And
he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our family hath a sacrifice in the city;
and my brother, he hath commanded me to be there: and now, if I have found favour in thine eyes, let me get away,
I pray thee, and see my brethren. Therefore he cometh not unto the king’s
table.
09-21:4 And
the priest answered David, and said, There is no common bread under mine hand,
but there is hallowed bread; if the young men
have kept themselves at least from women.
09-21:9 And
the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the

save that here. And David said, There is none like that; give it me.
09-23:3 And
David’s men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more
then if we come to Keilah against the armies of
the Philistines?
09-23:23 See
therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hideth
himself, and come ye again to me with the certainty, and I will go with you:
and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land,
that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.
09-24:19 For
if a man find his enemy, will he let him go well
away? wherefore the LORD reward thee good for that thou hast done unto me this
day.
09-25:22 So
and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if
I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisseth
against the wall.
09-26:19 Now
therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him
accept an offering: but if they be the children
of men, cursed be they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day
from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.
09-27:5 And
David said unto Achish, If I have now found grace
in thine eyes, let them give me a place in some town in the country, that I may
dwell there: for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee?
10-3:35 And
when all the people came to cause David to eat meat while it was yet day, David
sware, saying, So do God to me, and more also, if
I taste bread, or ought else, till the sun be down.
10-7:14 I
will be his father, and he shall be my son. If
he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the
stripes of the children of men:
10-10:11 And
he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me,
then thou shalt help me: but if the children of
Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will come and help thee.
10-11:20 And
if so be that the king’s wrath arise, and he say
unto thee, Wherefore approached ye so nigh unto the city when ye did fight?
knew ye not that they would shoot from the wall?
10-12:8 And
I gave thee thy master’s house, and thy master’s wives into thy bosom, and gave
thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if
that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such
things.
10-12:18 And
it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of
David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while
the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our
voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell
him that the child is dead?
10-13:26 Then
said Absalom, If not, I pray thee, let my
brother Amnon go with us. And the king said unto him, Why should he go with
thee?
10-14:32 And
Absalom answered Joab, Behold, I sent unto thee, saying, Come hither, that I
may send thee to the king, to say, Wherefore am I come from Geshur? it had been
good for me to have been there still: now therefore let me see the king’s face;
and if there be any iniquity in me, let him kill
me.
10-15:8 For
thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem,
then I will serve the LORD.
10-15:25 And
the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favour in the eyes of the LORD, he
will bring me again, and shew me both it, and his habitation:
10-15:26 But
if he thus say, I have no delight in thee;
behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him.
10-15:33 Unto
whom David said, If thou passest on with me,
then thou shalt be a burden unto me:
10-15:34 But
if thou return to the city, and say unto
Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; as I have been thy father’s servant
hitherto, so will I now also be thy servant: then mayest thou for me defeat the
counsel of Ahithophel.
10-16:23 And
the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counselled in those days, was as if a man had enquired at the oracle of God: so was all
the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom.
10-17:3 And
I will bring back all the people unto thee: the man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: so all the people shall be in peace.
10-17:6 And
when Hushai was come to Absalom, Absalom spake unto him, saying, Ahithophel
hath spoken after this manner: shall we do after his saying? if not; speak thou.
10-17:13 Moreover,
if he be gotten into a city, then shall all Israel
bring ropes to that city, and we will draw it into the river, until there be
not one small stone found there.
10-18:3 But
the people answered, Thou shalt not go forth: for if
we flee away, they will not care for us; neither if
half of us die, will they care for us: but now thou art worth ten thousand of
us: therefore now it is better that thou succour us out of the city.
10-18:25 And
the watchman cried, and told the king. And the king said, If he be alone, there is tidings in his mouth. And he
came apace, and drew near.
10-19:6 In
that thou lovest thine enemies, and hatest thy friends. For thou hast declared
this day, that thou regardest neither princes nor servants: for this day I
perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we
had died this day, then it had pleased thee well.
10-19:7 Now
therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear
by the LORD, if thou go not forth, there will
not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be worse unto thee than all
the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now.
10-19:13 And
say ye to Amasa, Art thou not of my bone, and of my flesh? God do so to me, and
more also, if thou be not captain of the host
before me continually in the room of Joab.
11-1:52 And
Solomon said, If he will shew himself a worthy
man, there shall not an hair of him fall to the earth: but if wickedness shall be found in him, he shall die.
11-2:4 That
the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before
me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail
thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.
11-2:23 Then
king Solomon sware by the LORD, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word against his own
life.
11-3:14 And
if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my
statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will
lengthen thy days.
11-6:12 Concerning
this house which thou art in building, if thou
wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my
commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I
spake unto David thy father:
11-8:31 If any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath
be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine altar in
this house:
11-8:35 When
heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee;
if they pray toward this place, and confess thy
name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:
11-8:37 If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpillar; if
their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague,
whatsoever sickness there be;
11-8:44 If thy people go out to battle against their enemy,
whithersoever thou shalt send them, and shall pray unto the LORD toward the
city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house that I have built for thy
name:
11-8:46 If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that
sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so
that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;
11-8:47 Yet
if they shall bethink themselves in the land
whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee
in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and
have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;
11-9:4 And
if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father
walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that
I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:
11-9:6 But
if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or
your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have
set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:
11-11:38 And
it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that
I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to
keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be
with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give
Israel unto thee.
11-12:7 And
they spake unto him, saying, If thou wilt be a
servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them, and answer them, and
speak good words to them, then they will be thy servants for ever.
11-12:27 If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of
the LORD at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their
lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to
Rehoboam king of Judah.
11-13:8 And
the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt
give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread
nor drink water in this place:
11-16:31 And
it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing
for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife
Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served
Baal, and worshipped him.
11-18:21 And
Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two
opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him
not a word.
11-19:2 Then
Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and
more also, if I make not thy life as the life of
one of them by to morrow about this time.
11-20:10 And
Benhadad sent unto him, and said, The gods do so unto me, and more also, if the dust of Samaria shall suffice for handfuls for
all the people that follow me.
11-20:39 And
as the king passed by, he cried unto the king: and he said, Thy servant went
out into the midst of the battle; and, behold, a man turned aside, and brought
a man unto me, and said, Keep this man: if by
any means he be missing, then shall thy life be for his life, or else thou
shalt pay a talent of silver.
11-21:2 And
Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a
garden of herbs, because it is near unto my house: and I will give thee for it
a better vineyard than it; or, if it seem good
to thee, I will give thee the worth of it in money.
11-21:6 And
he said unto her, Because I spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and said unto
him, Give me thy vineyard for money; or else, if
it please thee, I will give thee another vineyard for it: and he answered, I
will not give thee my vineyard.
11-22:28 And
Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace,
the LORD hath not spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of
you.
12-1:10 And
Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If
I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy
fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a
man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And
the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
12-2:10 And
he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if
thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.
12-4:29 Then
he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go
thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not;
and if any salute thee, answer him not again:
and lay my staff upon the face of the child.
12-5:13 And
his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing,
wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee,
Wash, and be clean?
12-6:27 And
he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence
shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress?
12-6:31 Then
he said, God do so and more also to me, if the
head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall stand on him this day.
12-7:2 Then
a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold,
if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might
this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but
shalt not eat thereof.
12-7:4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the
famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if
we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the
host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we
shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but
die.
12-7:9 Then
they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings,
and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the
morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may
go and tell the king’s household.
12-7:19 And
that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such
a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt
not eat thereof.
12-9:15 But
king Joram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians
had given him, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria.) And Jehu said, If it be your minds, then let none go forth nor escape
out of the city to go to tell it in Jezreel.
12-10:6 Then
he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If
ye be mine, and if ye will hearken unto my
voice, take ye the heads of the men your master’s sons, and come to me to
Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king’s sons, being seventy persons,
were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.
12-10:15 And
when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming
to meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my
heart is with thy heart? And Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be, give me thine hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took
him up to him into the chariot.
12-10:24 And
when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings, Jehu appointed
fourscore men without, and said, If any of the
men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his
life shall be for the life of him.
12-18:21 Now,
behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on
which if a man lean, it will go into his hand,
and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.
12-18:22 But
if ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God:
is not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away,
and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in
Jerusalem?
12-18:23 Now
therefore, I pray thee, give pledges to my lord the king of Assyria, and I will
deliver thee two thousand horses, if thou be
able on thy part to set riders upon them.
12-20:19 Then
said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken.
And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth
be in my days?
12-21:8 Neither
will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their
fathers; only if they will observe to do
according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that
my servant Moses commanded them.
13-12:17 And
David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart
shall be knit unto you: but if ye be come to betray
me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the God of our
fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.
13-13:2 And
David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If
it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad
unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and
with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and
suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:
13-19:12 And
he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me,
then thou shalt help me: but if the children of
Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee.
13-22:13 Then
shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to
fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning
Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.
13-28:7 Moreover
I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be
constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.
13-28:9 And
thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a
perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and
understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if
thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if
thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
14-6:22 If a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be

house;

if thy people Israel be put to the worse before
the enemy, because they have sinned against thee; and shall return and confess
thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house;

the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against
thee; yet if they pray toward this place, and
confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict them;
14-6:28 If there be dearth in the land, if there be pestilence, if
there be blasting, or mildew, locusts, or caterpillars; if their enemies besiege them in the cities of their land;
whatsoever sore or whatsoever sickness there be:
14-6:32 Moreover
concerning the stranger, which is not of thy people Israel, but is come from a
far country for thy great name’s sake, and thy mighty hand, and thy stretched
out arm; if they come and pray in this house;
14-6:34 If thy people go out to war against their enemies by
the way that thou shalt send them, and they pray unto thee toward this city
which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name;
14-6:36 If they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them,
and deliver them over before their enemies,
and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near;
14-6:37 Yet
if they
bethink themselves in the land whither they are carried captive, and turn and
pray unto thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have
done amiss, and have dealt wickedly;
14-6:38 If they return to thee with all their heart and with
all their soul in the land of their captivity, whither they have carried them
captives, and pray toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, and
toward the city which thou hast
chosen, and toward the house which I have built for thy name:
14-7:13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14-7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall
humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their
land.
14-7:17 And
as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as
David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee,
and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments;
14-7:19 But
if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my
commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods,
and worship them;
14-10:7 And
they spake unto him, saying, If thou be kind to
this people, and please them, and speak good words to them, they will be thy
servants for ever.
14-15:2 And
he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and
Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while
ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be
found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will
forsake you.
14-18:27 And
Micaiah said, If thou certainly return in peace,
then hath not the LORD spoken by me.
And he said, Hearken, all ye people.
14-20:9 If, when evil
cometh upon us, as the sword,
judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy
presence, (for thy name is in this
house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help.
14-25:8 But
if thou wilt go, do it, be strong for the battle: God shall make thee fall before the
enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down.
14-30:9 For
if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren
and your children shall find compassion
before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this
land: for the LORD your God is gracious
and merciful, and will not turn away his face
from you, if ye return unto him.
15-4:13 Be
it known now unto the king, that, if this city
be builded, and the walls set up again,
then will they not pay toll, tribute, and custom, and so thou shalt endamage the revenue of the kings.
15-4:16 We
certify the king that, if this city be builded again, and the walls thereof set up, by
this means thou shalt have no portion on this side the river.
15-5:17 Now
therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king’s
treasure house, which is there at
Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree
was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the
king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.
16-1:8 Remember,
I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress,
I will scatter you abroad among the nations:
16-1:9 But
if ye
turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you
cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the
place that I have chosen to set my name there.
16-2:5 And
I said unto the king, If it please the king, and
if thy servant have found favour in thy sight,
that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers’ sepulchres,
that I may build it.
16-2:7 Moreover
I said unto the king, If it please the king, let
letters be given me to the governors beyond the river, that they may convey me
over till I come into Judah;
16-4:3 Now
Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and
he said, Even that which they build, if a fox go
up, he shall even break down their stone wall.
16-9:29 And
testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet
they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against
thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live
in them;) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not
hear.
16-10:31 And
if the
people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the
sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we
would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.
16-13:21 Then
I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again,
I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath.
17-1:19 If it please the king, let there go a royal
commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and
the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus;
and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.
17-3:9 If it please the king, let it be written that they may
be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of
those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king’s treasuries.
17-4:14 For
if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this
time, then shall there enlargement
and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s
house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom
for such a time as this?
17-4:16 Go,
gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me,
and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will
fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if
I perish, I perish.
17-5:4 And
Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day
unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.
17-5:8 If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to
perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall
prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said.
17-6:13 And
Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his
wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall,
thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.
17-7:3 Then
Esther the queen answered and said, If I have
found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it
please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my
request:
17-7:4 For
we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had
held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king’s damage.
17-8:5 And
said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be
written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the
Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king’s provinces:
17-9:13 Then
said Esther, If it please the king, let it be
granted to the Jews which are in
Shushan to do to morrow also according unto this day’s decree, and let Haman’s
ten sons be hanged upon the gallows.
18-4:2 If we
assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself
from speaking?
18-5:1 Call
now, if there be any that will answer thee; and
to which of the saints wilt thou turn?
18-6:28 Now
therefore be content, look upon me; for it
is evident unto you if I lie.
18-8:4 If thy children have sinned against him, and he have
cast them away for their transgression;
18-8:5 If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy
supplication to the Almighty;
18-8:6 If thou wert pure
and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy
righteousness prosperous.
18-8:18 If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee.
18-9:3 If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one
of a thousand.
18-9:13 If God will
not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him.
18-9:16 If I had called, and he had answered me; yet would I not believe that he had
hearkened unto my voice.
18-9:19 If I speak of
strength, lo, he is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time to plead?
18-9:20 If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I
am perfect, it shall also prove me
perverse.
18-9:23 If the scourge slay suddenly, he will laugh at the
trial of the innocent.
18-9:24 The
earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges
thereof; if not, where, and who is he?
18-9:27 If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off
my heaviness, and comfort myself:
18-9:29 If I be
wicked, why then labour I in vain?
18-9:30 If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands
never so clean;
18-10:14 If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not
acquit me from mine iniquity.
18-10:15 If I be wicked, woe unto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see
thou mine affliction;
18-11:10 If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then
who can hinder him?
18-11:13 If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine
hands toward him;
18-11:14 If iniquity be in
thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
18-13:10 He
will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly

18-13:19 Who
is he that will plead with me? for now, if
I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.

there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that
it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
18-14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change
come.

also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul’s stead, I could heap up
words against you, and shake mine head at you.

shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the
terrors of the shadow of death.

if it be not
so now, who will make me a liar, and
make my speech nothing worth?
18-27:14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with
bread.
18-29:24 If I
laughed on them, they believed it not;
and the light of my countenance they cast not down.
18-31:5 If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;
18-31:7 If my step hath turned out of the way, and mine heart walked
after mine eyes, and if any blot hath cleaved to
mine hands;
18-31:9 If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have
laid wait at my neighbour’s door;
18-31:13 If I did despise the cause of my manservant or of my
maidservant, when they contended with me;
18-31:16 If I have withheld the poor from their desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail;
18-31:19 If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, or any
poor without covering;
18-31:20 If his loins have not blessed me, and if he
were not warmed with the fleece of my
sheep;
18-31:21 If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless,
when I saw my help in the gate:
18-31:24 If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine
gold, Thou art my confidence;
18-31:25 If I rejoiced because my wealth was great, and because mine hand had gotten much;
18-31:26 If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon
walking in brightness;
18-31:29 If I rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me,
or lifted up myself when evil found him:
18-31:31 If the men of my tabernacle said not, Oh that we had
of his flesh! we cannot be satisfied.
18-31:33 If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine
iniquity in my bosom:
18-31:38 If my land cry against me, or that the furrows
likewise thereof complain;
18-31:39 If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or
have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:
18-33:5 If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.
18-33:23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one
among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:

looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me
not;
18-33:32 If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I
desire to justify thee.
18-33:33 If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall
teach thee wisdom.
18-34:14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit
and his breath;

understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.
18-34:32 That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?

transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?
18-35:7 If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what
receiveth he of thine hand?

if they be
bound in fetters, and be holden
in cords of affliction;
18-36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in
pleasures.
18-36:12 But
if they obey not, they shall perish by the
sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
18-37:20 Shall
it be told him that I speak? if a man speak,
surely he shall be swallowed up.
18-38:4 Where
wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest?
or who hath stretched the line upon it?
18-38:8 Or
who shut up the sea with doors, when
it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if

19-7:3 O
LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
19-7:4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace
with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
19-7:12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent
his bow, and made it ready.
19-11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the
righteous do?

LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.

out our hands to a strange god;

be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his
house.
20-9:12 If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou
scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.

hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be
found in the way of righteousness.

man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if

man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.
20-29:12 If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.

hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his
fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the
ends of the earth? what is his name,
and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?
20-30:32 If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.
21-4:10 For
if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow:
but woe to him that is alone when he
falleth; for he hath not another to
help him up.
21-4:11 Again,
if two lie together, then they have heat: but
how can one be warm alone?
21-4:12 And
if one prevail against him, two shall withstand
him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
21-5:8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent
perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for
he that is higher than the highest
regardeth; and there be higher than
they.
21-6:3 If a man beget an hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years be
many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also that he have no burial; I say, that
an untimely birth is better than
he.
21-10:4 If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave
not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offences.
21-10:10 If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge,
then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.
21-11:3 If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the
north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.
21-11:8 But
if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness;
for they shall be many. All that cometh is
vanity.
22-1:8 If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy
way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the
shepherds’ tents.

charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find
my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am sick

us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if
the vine flourish, whether the tender
grape appear, and the pomegranates
bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.

waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man
would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be
contemned.
22-8:9 If she be a
wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if
she be a door, we will inclose her
with boards of cedar.
23-1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good
of the land:
23-1:20 But
if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured
with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
23-5:30 And
in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look
unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow,
and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
23-7:9 And
the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and
the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s
son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not
be established.
23-8:20 To
the law and to the testimony: if they speak not
according to this word, it is because
there is no light in them.
23-10:15 Shall
the ax boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if
it were no wood.
23-21:12 The
watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if
ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.
23-36:6 Lo,
thou trustest in the staff of this broken reed, on Egypt; whereon if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce
it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt to
all that trust in him.

if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our God:
is it not he, whose high places and
whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye
shall worship before this altar?

therefore give pledges, I pray thee, to my master the king of Assyria, and I
will give thee two thousand horses, if thou be
able on thy part to set riders upon them.
23-47:12 Stand
now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein
thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou
shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest
prevail.
23-51:13 And
forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid
the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of
the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready
to destroy? and where is the fury of
the oppressor?

shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say,

thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the
finger, and speaking vanity;

draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy
light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be
as the noon day:
23-58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day;
and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt
honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor
speaking thine own words:
23-59:10 We
grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if
we had no eyes: we stumble at noon
day as in the night; we are in
desolate places as dead men.
23-66:3 He
that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he
cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he
that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their
own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
24-2:10 For
pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send unto Kedar, and consider
diligently, and see if there be such a thing.
24-2:28 But
where are thy gods that thou hast made
thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in
the time of thy trouble: for according to
the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
24-3:1 They
say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from
him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto her again? shall not that
land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet
return again to me, saith the LORD.
24-4:1 If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return
unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine
abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.
24-5:1 Run
ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek
in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a
man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will
pardon it.
24-7:5 For
if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings;
if ye throughly execute judgment between a man
and his neighbour;
24-7:6 If ye
oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent
blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:
24-12:5 If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have
wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do
in the swelling of Jordan?
24-12:16 And
it shall come to pass, if they will diligently
learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they
taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my
people.
24-12:17 But
if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up
and destroy that nation, saith the LORD.
24-13:17 But
if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in
secret places for your pride; and
mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord’s flock is
carried away captive.
24-13:22 And
if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these
things upon me? For the greatness of thine iniquity are thy skirts discovered, and thy heels made bare.
24-14:18 If I go forth into the field, then behold the slain
with the sword! and if I enter into the city,
then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the
priest go about into a land that they know not.
24-15:2 And
it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither
shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and
such as are for the famine, to the
famine; and such as are for the
captivity, to the captivity.
24-15:19 Therefore
thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I
bring thee again, and thou shalt
stand before me: and if thou take forth the
precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee;
but return not thou unto them.
24-17:24 And
it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken
unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city
on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;
24-17:27 But
if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the
sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of
Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof,
and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.
24-18:8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn
from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
24-18:10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice,
then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.
24-21:2 Inquire,
I pray thee, of the LORD for us; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon maketh war
against us; if so be that the LORD will deal
with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may go up from us.
24-22:4 For
if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there
enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David,
riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
24-22:5 But
if ye will not hear these words, I swear by
myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.
24-23:22 But
if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused
my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil
way, and from the evil of their doings.
24-25:28 And
it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at
thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of
hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.
24-26:3 If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from
his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them
because of the evil of their doings.
24-26:4 And
thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; If
ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,
24-26:15 But
know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death,
ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and
upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to
speak all these words in your ears.
24-27:18 But
if they be
prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with
them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels
which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to
Babylon.
24-31:36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the
LORD, then the seed of Israel also
shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
24-31:37 Thus
saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured,
and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all
the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
24-33:20 Thus
saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of
the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and
night in their season;
24-33:25 Thus
saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I
have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
24-38:15 Then
Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it unto thee, wilt thou not surely put
me to death? and if I give thee counsel, wilt
thou not hearken unto me?
24-38:17 Then
said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of
Israel; If thou wilt assuredly go forth unto the
king of Babylon’s princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be
burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thine house:
24-38:18 But
if thou wilt not go forth to the king of
Babylon’s princes, then shall this city be given into the hand of the
Chaldeans, and they shall burn it with fire, and thou shalt not escape out of
their hand.
24-38:21 But
if thou refuse to go forth, this is the word that the LORD hath shewed
me:
24-38:25 But
if the princes hear that I have talked with
thee, and they come unto thee, and say unto thee, Declare unto us now what thou
hast said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put thee to
death; also what the king said unto thee:
24-40:4 And
now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem
good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto
thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with
me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to
go, thither go.
24-42:5 Then
they said to Jeremiah, The LORD be a true and faithful witness between us, if we do not even according to all things for the
which the LORD thy God shall send thee to us.
24-42:10 If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build
you, and not pull you down, and I
will plant you, and not pluck you up:
for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you.
24-42:13 But
if ye say, We will not dwell in this land,
neither obey the voice of the LORD your God,
24-42:15 And
now therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye remnant of Judah; Thus saith the LORD
of hosts, the God of Israel; If ye wholly set
your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there;
24-49:9 If grapegatherers come to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, they will destroy till they have
enough.
24-51:8 Babylon
is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
25-1:12 Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass
by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like
unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.
25-2:6 And
he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath
destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts
and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of
his anger the king and the priest.
25-3:29 He
putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there
may be hope.
26-3:19 Yet
if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his
wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou
hast delivered thy soul.
26-3:21 Nevertheless
if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall
surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
26-10:10 And
as for their appearances, they four
had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the
midst of a wheel.
26-14:9 And
if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a
thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand
upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
26-14:15 If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land,
and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because
of the beasts:
26-14:17 Or
if I
bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I
cut off man and beast from it:
26-14:19 Or
if I
send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut
off from it man and beast:
26-16:47 Yet
hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but,
as if that
were a very little thing, thou
wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.
26-18:5 But
if a man be just, and do that which is lawful
and right,
26-18:10 If he beget a son that
is a robber, a shedder of blood, and that
doeth the like to any one of
these things,
26-18:14 Now,
lo, if he
beget a son, that seeth all his father’s sins which he hath done, and
considereth, and doeth not such like,
26-18:21 But
if the wicked will turn from all his sins that
he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and
right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
26-20:11 And
I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man
do, he shall even live in them.
26-20:13 But
the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in
my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in
them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my
fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
26-20:21 Notwithstanding

accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
26-20:39 As
for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one
his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy
name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.
26-21:13 Because
it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn
even the rod? it shall be no more, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-33:2 Son
of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring
the sword upon a land, if the people of the land
take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
26-33:3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow
the trumpet, and warn the people;
26-33:4 Then
whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall
be upon his own head.
26-33:6 But
if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not
the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if
the sword come, and take any person
from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require
at the watchman’s hand.
26-33:8 When
I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou
shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn
the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall
die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
26-33:9 Nevertheless,
if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from
it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die
in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
26-33:10 Therefore,
O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them,
how should we then live?
26-33:13 When
I shall say to the righteous, that he
shall surely live; if he trust to his own
righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be
remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
26-33:14 Again,
when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if
he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
26-33:15 If the
wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes
of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
26-33:19 But
if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do
that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.
26-43:11 And
if they be ashamed of all that they have done,
shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out
thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the
ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and
write it in their sight, that they
may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
26-46:16 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift
unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons’; it shall be their possession by
inheritance.
26-46:17 But
if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of
his servants, then it shall be his to the year of liberty; after it shall
return to the prince: but his inheritance shall be his sons’ for them.
27-2:5 The
king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the
interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be
made a dunghill.
27-2:6 But
if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation
thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore
shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof.
27-2:9 But
if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye
have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be
changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the
interpretation thereof.
27-3:15 Now
if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the
sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds
of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if
ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning
fiery furnace; and who is that God
that shall deliver you out of my hands?
27-3:17 If it be so, our
God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he
will deliver us out of thine hand, O
king.
27-3:18 But
if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we
will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
27-4:27 Wherefore,
O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by
righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
27-5:16 And
I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve
doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and
make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with
scarlet, and have a chain of gold
about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
28-6:3 Then
shall we know, if
we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning;
and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
28-8:7 For
they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk:
the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield,
the strangers shall swallow it up.
29-2:14 Who
knoweth if
he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink
offering unto the LORD your God?
29-3:4 Yea,
and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of
Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if
ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily
will I return your recompence upon your own head;
30-3:4 Will
a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of
his den, if he have taken nothing?
30-5:19 As
if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met
him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit
him.
30-6:9 And
it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men
in one house, that they shall die.
31-1:5 If thieves came to thee, if
robbers by night, (how art thou cut off!) would they not have stolen till they
had enough? if the grapegatherers came to thee,
would they not leave some grapes?
32-1:6 So
the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper?
arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will
think upon us, that we perish not.
32-3:9 Who
can tell if
God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we
perish not?
33-2:11 If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of
wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
33-5:8 And
the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as
a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of
sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth
down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
34-3:12 All
thy strong holds shall be like fig
trees with the firstripe figs: if they be
shaken, they shall even fall into the mouth of the eater.
37-2:12 If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment,
and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat,
shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
37-2:13 Then
said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be
unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
38-3:7 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my
ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou
shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee
places to walk among these that stand by.
38-6:15 And
they that are far off shall come and
build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath
sent me unto you. And this shall come
to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of
the LORD your God.
38-8:6 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in
the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be
marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.
38-11:12 And
I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
38-14:18 And
if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not,
that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the
heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
39-1:6 A
son honoureth his father, and a
servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that
despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?
39-1:8 And
if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased
with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.
39-2:2 If ye will not hear, and if
ye will not lay it to heart, to give
glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you,
and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do
not lay it to heart.
39-3:10 Bring
ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house,
and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if
I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
40-4:3 And
when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou
be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
40-4:6 And
saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast
thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning
thee: and in their hands they shall
bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
40-4:9 And
saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if
thou wilt fall down and worship me.
40-5:13 Ye
are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have
lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for
nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
40-5:23 Therefore
if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there
rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
40-5:29 And
if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and
cast it from thee: for it is
profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into
hell.
40-5:30 And
if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and
cast it from thee: for it is profitable
for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
40-5:40 And
if any man will sue thee at the law, and take
away thy coat, let him have thy cloke
also.
40-5:46 For
if ye love them which love you, what reward have
ye? do not even the publicans the same?
40-5:47 And
if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more
than others? do not even the
publicans so?
40-6:14 For
if ye forgive men their trespasses, your
heavenly Father will also forgive you:
40-6:15 But
if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither
will your Father forgive your trespasses.
40-6:22 The
light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine
eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
40-6:23 But
if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be
full of darkness. If therefore the light that is
in thee be darkness, how great is that
darkness!
40-6:30 Wherefore,
if God so clothe the grass of the field, which
to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe
you, O ye of little faith?
40-7:9 Or
what man is there of you, whom if his son ask
bread, will he give him a stone?
40-7:10 Or
if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
40-7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts
unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give
good things to them that ask him?
40-8:2 And,
behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
40-8:31 So
the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us
out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
40-9:21 For
she said within herself, If I may but touch his
garment, I shall be whole.
40-10:13 And
if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon
it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace
return to you.
40-10:25 It
is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his
lord. If they have called the master of the
house Beelzebub, how much more shall they
call them of his household?
40-11:14 And
if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.
40-11:21 Woe
unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if
the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they
would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
40-11:23 And
thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell:
for if the mighty works, which have been done in
thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
40-12:7 But
if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not
have condemned the guiltless.
40-12:11 And
he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one
sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath
day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it
out?
40-12:26 And
if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against
himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
40-12:27 And
if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do
your children cast them out?
therefore they shall be your judges.
40-12:28 But
if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then
the kingdom of God is come unto you.
40-14:28 And
Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be
thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
40-15:14 Let
them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if
the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
40-16:24 Then
said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny
himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
40-16:26 For
what is a man profited, if he shall gain the
whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for
his soul?
40-17:4 Then
answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one
for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
40-17:20 And
Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall
say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and
nothing shall be impossible unto you.
40-18:8 Wherefore
if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them
off, and cast them from thee: it is better
for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two
feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
40-18:9 And
if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast
it from thee: it is better for thee
to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into
hell fire.
40-18:12 How
think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and
one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth
into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
40-18:13 And
if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you,
he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than
of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
40-18:15 Moreover
if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go
and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if
he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
40-18:16 But
if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two
or three witnesses every word may be established.
40-18:17 And
if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee
as a heathen man and a publican.
40-18:19 Again
I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree
on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them
of my Father which is in heaven.
40-18:35 So
likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if
ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
40-19:10 His
disciples say unto him, If the case of the man
be so with his wife, it is not good
to marry.
40-19:17 And
he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there
is none good but one, that is, God:
but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the
commandments.
40-19:21 Jesus
said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the
poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
40-21:3 And
if any man
say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and
straightway he will send them.
40-21:21 Jesus
answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If
ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if
ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the
sea; it shall be done.
40-21:24 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what
authority I do these things.
40-21:25 The
baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with
themselves, saying, If we shall say, From
heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?
40-21:26 But
if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for
all hold John as a prophet.
40-22:24 Saying,
Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no
children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
40-22:45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
40-23:30 And
say, If we had been in the days of our fathers,
we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
40-24:23 Then
if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
40-24:24 For
there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs
and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the
very elect.
40-24:26 Wherefore
if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the
desert; go not forth: behold, he is in
the secret chambers; believe it not.
40-24:43 But
know this, that if the goodman of the house had
known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not
have suffered his house to be broken up.
40-24:48 But
and if that evil servant shall say in his heart,
My lord delayeth his coming;
40-26:24 The
Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son
of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if
he had not been born.
40-26:39 And
he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my
Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from
me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
40-26:42 He
went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink
it, thy will be done.
40-27:40 And
saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If
thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
40-27:42 He
saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be
the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe
him.
40-27:43 He
trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he
will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
40-28:14 And
if this come to the governor’s ears, we will
persuade him, and secure you.
41-1:40 And
there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying
unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me
clean.
41-3:24 And
if a kingdom be divided against itself, that
kingdom cannot stand.
41-3:25 And
if a house be divided against itself, that house
cannot stand.
41-3:26 And
if Satan rise up against himself, and be
divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
41-4:23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man
should cast seed into the ground;
41-5:28 For
she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I
shall be whole.

whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the
sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many
as touched him were made whole.

ye say, If a man shall say to his father or
mother, It is Corban, that is to say,
a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
41-7:16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
41-8:3 And
if I send them away fasting to their own houses,
they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.
41-8:23 And
he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had
spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.
41-8:36 For
what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the
whole world, and lose his own soul?
41-9:22 And
ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him:
but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion
on us, and help us.
41-9:23 Jesus
said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things
are possible to him that believeth.
41-9:35 And
he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.
41-9:43 And
if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is
better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into
hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
41-9:45 And
if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is
better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into
hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
41-9:47 And
if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is
better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two
eyes to be cast into hell fire:
41-9:50 Salt
is good: but if
the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in
yourselves, and have peace one with another.
41-10:12 And
if a woman shall put away her husband, and be
married to another, she committeth adultery.
41-11:3 And
if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that
the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
41-11:13 And
seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if
haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing
but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
41-11:25 And
when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought
against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your
trespasses.
41-11:26 But
if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father
which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
41-11:31 And
they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we
shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?
41-11:32 But
if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people:
for all men counted John, that he was
a prophet indeed.
41-12:19 Master,
Moses wrote unto us, If a man’s brother die, and
leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his
wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
41-13:21 And
then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
41-13:22 For
false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders,
to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
41-14:21 The
Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom
the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if
he had never been born.
41-14:31 But
he spake the more vehemently, If I should die
with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.
41-14:35 And
he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
41-15:44 And
Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and
calling unto him the centurion, he
asked him whether he had been any while dead.
41-16:18 They
shall take up serpents; and if they drink any
deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and
they shall recover.
42-4:3 And
the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God,
command this stone that it be made bread.
42-4:7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
42-4:9 And
he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said

thyself down from hence:

it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy:
who seeing Jesus fell on his face,
and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt,

he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon
an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a
rent, and the piece that was taken out
of the new agreeth not with the old.
42-6:32 For
if ye love them which love you, what thank have
ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
42-6:33 And
if ye do good to them which do good to you, what
thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
42-6:34 And
if ye lend to
them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to
sinners, to receive as much again.
42-7:39 Now
when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it,
he spake within himself, saying, This man, if
he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a
sinner.
42-9:23 And
he said to them all, If any man will
come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow
me.
42-9:25 For
what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole
world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
42-10:6 And
if the son of peace be there, your peace shall
rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you
again.

if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a
scorpion?
42-11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts
unto your children: how much more shall your
heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
42-11:18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall
his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.
42-11:19 And
if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do
your sons cast them out? therefore
shall they be your judges.
42-11:20 But
if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no
doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
42-11:36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of
light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

if any man think that he behaveth himself
uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the
flower of her age, and need so
require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.
46-7:39 The
wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be
married to whom she will; only in the Lord.
46-7:40 But
she is happier if she so abide, after my
judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he

46-9:2 If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am
to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.
46-9:11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
46-9:12 If others be partakers of this power over you, are not
we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things,
lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.
46-9:16 For
though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid
upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not
the gospel!
46-9:17 For
if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward:
but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
46-10:27 If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go;
whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.
46-10:28 But
if any man say unto you, This is offered in
sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience
sake: for the earth is the Lord’s,
and the fulness thereof:
46-10:30 For
if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil
spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one
as if she were shaven.
46-11:6 For
if the woman be not covered, let her also be
shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be
shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
46-11:14 Doth
not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man
have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
46-11:15 But
if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her:
for her hair is given her for a
covering.
46-11:16 But
if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such
custom, neither the churches of God.
46-11:31 For
if we would judge ourselves, we should not be
judged.
46-11:34 And
if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye
come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I
come.
46-12:15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am
not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
46-12:16 And
if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye,
I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
46-12:17 If the whole body were
an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were
hearing, where were the smelling?
46-12:19 And
if they were all one member, where were the body?
46-14:6 Now,
brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues,
what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or
by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?
46-14:8 For
if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who
shall prepare himself to the battle?
46-14:11 Therefore
if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall
be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.
46-14:14 For
if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is
unfruitful.
46-14:23 If therefore the whole church be come together into
one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye
are mad?
46-14:24 But
if all prophesy, and there come in one that
believeth not, or one unlearned, he
is convinced of all, he is judged of all:
46-14:27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by
two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
46-14:28 But
if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence
in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
46-14:30 If any thing be
revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.
46-14:35 And
if they will learn any thing, let them ask their
husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
46-14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or
spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the
commandments of the Lord.
46-14:38 But
if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.
46-15:2 By
which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory
what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
46-15:12 Now
if Christ be preached that he rose from the
dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
46-15:13 But
if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is
Christ not risen:
46-15:14 And
if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
46-15:15 Yea,
and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that
he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if
so be that the dead rise not.
46-15:16 For
if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
46-15:17 And
if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
46-15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of
all men most miserable.
46-15:29 Else
what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if
the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
46-15:32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts
at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead
rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with
me.

I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.

if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you

if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom
we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not
received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear
with him.

it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers
of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
47-11:16 I
say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise,
yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you,
if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.
47-11:30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things
which concern mine infirmities.

told you before, and foretell you, as if I were
present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore
have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come

we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you

do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of

Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as

if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we
ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore
Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
48-2:18 For
if I build again the things which I destroyed, I
make myself a transgressor.
48-2:21 I
do not frustrate the grace of God: for if
righteousness come by the law, then
Christ is dead in vain.
48-3:4 Have
ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
48-3:15 Brethren,
I speak after the manner of men; Though it
be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth
thereto.
48-3:18 For
if the inheritance be of the law, it is no
more of promise: but God gave it to
Abraham by promise.
48-3:21 Is the law then against the promises of
God? God forbid: for if there had been a law
given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the
law.

if ye be Christ’s,
then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
48-4:7 Wherefore
thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a
son, then an heir of God through Christ.

is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible,
ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised,

in many things we offend all. If any man offend
not in word, the same is a perfect
man, and able also to bridle the

if ye have bitter envying and strife in your
hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
59-4:11 Speak
not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother,
speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if
thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
59-4:15 For
that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
59-5:15 And
the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
59-5:19 Brethren,
if any of you do err from the truth, and one
convert him;
60-1:6 Wherein
ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if
need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
60-1:17 And
if ye call on the Father, who without respect of
persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning
here in fear:
60-2:3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
60-2:19 For
this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief,
suffering wrongfully.

what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take
it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and
suffer for it, ye take it patiently,
this is acceptable with God.
60-3:1 Likewise,
ye wives, be in subjection to your
own husbands; that, if any obey not the word,
they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
60-3:13 And
who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
60-3:14 But
and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their
terror, neither be troubled;
60-3:17 For
it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for
evil doing.
60-4:11 If any man speak, let
him speak as the oracles of God; if any man
minister, let him do it as of the
ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus
Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
60-4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of
God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he
is glorified.
60-4:16 Yet
if any man
suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on
this behalf.
60-4:17 For
the time is come that judgment must
begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be
of them that obey not the gospel of God?

if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall
the ungodly and the sinner appear?

the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:

if after they have escaped the pollutions of the

again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than
the beginning.
62-1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk
in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
62-1:7 But
if we walk in the light, as he is in the light,
we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son
cleanseth us from all sin.
62-1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves,
and the truth is not in us.
62-1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins, and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness.
62-1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar,
and his word is not in us.
62-2:1 My
little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father,
Jesus Christ the righteous:
62-2:3 And
hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep
his commandments.
62-2:15 Love
not the world, neither the things that
are in the world. If any man love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him.
62-2:19 They
went out from us, but they were not of us; for if
they had been of us, they would no doubt have
continued with us: but they went out, that
they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
62-2:24 Let
that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall
remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
62-2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every
one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
62-3:13 Marvel
not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
62-3:20 For
if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our
heart, and knoweth all things.
62-3:21 Beloved,
if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
62-4:11 Beloved,
if God so loved us, we ought also to love one
another.
62-4:12 No
man hath seen God at any time. If we love one
another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
62-4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he
is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he
love God whom he hath not seen?
62-5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God
is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
62-5:14 And
this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if
we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
62-5:15 And
if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask,
we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
62-5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask,
and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin
unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
63-1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this
doctrine, receive him not into your house,
neither bid him God speed:
64-1:6 Which
have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly
sort, thou shalt do well:
64-1:10 Wherefore,
if I come, I will remember his deeds which he
doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith,
neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would,
and casteth them out of the church.
66-1:15 And
his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned
in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
66-3:3 Remember
therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee
as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
66-3:20 Behold,
I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear
my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and
he with me.
66-11:5 And
if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out
of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if
any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
66-13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
66-14:9 And
the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and
receive his mark in his forehead, or
in his hand,
66-22:18 For
I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add
unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
66-22:19 And
if any man shall take away from the words of the
book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life,
and out of the holy city, and from the
things which are written in this book.
