02-3:7 And
the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in
02-4:31 And
the people believed: and when they heard that the

02-6:5 And
I have also heard the groaning of the children
of
02-16:9 And
Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of
02-16:12 I
have heard the murmurings of the children of
02-18:1 When
Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses’ father in law, heard
of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out
of Egypt;
02-23:13 And
in all things that I have said unto
you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let
it be heard out of thy mouth.
02-28:35 And
it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the LORD, and when he
cometh out, that he die not.
02-32:17 And
when Joshua heard the noise of the people as
they shouted, he said unto Moses, There
is a noise of war in the camp.

03-10:20 And
when Moses heard that, he was content.
03-24:14 Bring
forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay
their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
04-7:89 And
when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him,
then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him
from off the mercy seat that was upon
the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.

Moses heard the people weep throughout their
families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled
greatly; Moses also was displeased.
04-12:2 And
they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also
by us? And the LORD heard it.
04-14:14 And
they will tell it to the inhabitants
of this land: for they have heard that thou LORD art among this people, that thou LORD art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time
in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.
04-14:15 Now
if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the
nations which have heard the fame of thee will
speak, saying,
04-14:27 How
long shall I bear with this evil
congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard
the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.
04-16:4 And
when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:
04-20:16 And
when we cried unto the LORD, he heard our voice,
and sent an angel, and hath brought us forth out of Egypt: and, behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost
of thy border:
04-21:1 And
when king Arad the Canaanite, which
dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came
by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.
04-22:36 And
when Balak heard that Balaam was come, he went
out to meet him unto a city of Moab, which is

04-24:4 He
hath said, which heard the words of God, which
saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into
a trance, but having his eyes open:
04-24:16 He
hath said, which heard the words of God, and
knew the knowledge of the most High, which
saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into
a trance, but having his eyes open:
04-30:7 And
her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then
her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
04-30:8 But
if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard
it; then he shall make her vow which she
vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul,
of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
04-30:11 And
her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and
disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith
she bound her soul shall stand.
04-30:12 But
if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then
whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the
bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the
LORD shall forgive her.
04-30:14 But
if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he
establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her
in the day that he heard them.
04-30:15 But
if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard
them; then he shall bear her
iniquity.
04-33:40 And
king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
05-1:34 And
the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was
wroth, and sware, saying,
05-4:12 And
the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only
ye heard a
voice.
05-4:32 For
ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that
God created man upon the earth, and ask from
the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?
05-4:33 Did
ever people hear the voice of God
speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard,
and live?
05-5:23 And
it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of
the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came
near unto me, even all the heads of
your tribes, and your elders;
05-5:24 And
ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness,
and we have heard his voice out of the midst of
the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.
05-5:26 For
who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the
midst of the fire, as we have, and
lived?
05-5:28 And
the LORD heard the voice of your words, when ye
spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard
the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they
have well said all that they have spoken.
05-9:2 A
people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and of whom thou hast heard say, Who
can stand before the children of Anak!
05-17:4 And
it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and,
behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in
Israel:
05-26:7 And
when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our
labour, and our oppression:
06-2:10 For
we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of
the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two
kings of the Amorites, that were on
the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.
06-2:11 And
as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any
more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth
beneath.
06-5:1 And
it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the
Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan
from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart
melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of
Israel.
06-6:20 So
the people shouted when the priests blew
with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great
shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city,
every man straight before him, and they took the city.
06-9:1 And
it came to pass, when all the kings which were
on this side Jordan, in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the
coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the
Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof;
06-9:3 And
when the inhabitants of Gibeon heard what Joshua
had done unto Jericho and to Ai,
06-9:9 And
they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of
the name of the LORD thy God: for we have heard
the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt,
06-9:16 And
it came to pass at the end of three days after they had made a league with
them, that they heard that they were their neighbours, and that they dwelt among them.
06-10:1 Now
it came to pass, when Adonizedec king of Jerusalem had heard

of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them;

children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh have
built an altar over against the land of Canaan, in the borders of Jordan, at
the passage of the children of Israel.
06-22:12 And

children of Israel gathered themselves together at Shiloh, to go up to war
against them.

06-24:27 And

your God.

her.

wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art
come down that thou mightest see the battle.
09-17:31 And
when the words were heard which David spake,
they rehearsed them before Saul: and

said David, O LORD God of Israel, thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy
the city for my sake.
09-23:11 Will
the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy
servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I
beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.

missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel.
09-25:39 And
when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said,
Blessed be the LORD, that hath

beside thee, according to all that we have heard
with our ears.

have heard is
good.

mine heart shall be there perpetually.

11-19:13 And
it was so, when Elijah heard it that
he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in
of the cave. And, behold, there came a
voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?
11-20:12 And
it came to pass, when Benhadad heard this message, as he was drinking, he and the kings in the pavilions, that he said unto
his servants, Set yourselves in array. And
they set themselves in array against
the city.
11-20:31 And
his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have heard
that the kings of the house of Israel are
merciful kings: let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes
upon our heads, and go out to the king of Israel: peradventure he will save thy
life.
11-21:15 And
it came to pass, when Jezebel heard that Naboth
was stoned, and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of the
vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give thee for money: for
Naboth is not alive, but dead.
11-21:16 And
it came to pass, when Ahab heard that Naboth was
dead, that Ahab rose up to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to
take possession of it.
11-21:27 And
it came to pass, when Ahab heard those words,
that he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay
in sackcloth, and went softly.
12-3:21 And
when all the Moabites heard that the kings were
come up to fight against them, they gathered all that were able to put on
armour, and upward, and stood in the border.
12-5:8 And
it was so, when Elisha the man of God
had heard that the king of Israel had rent his
clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy
clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in
Israel.
12-6:30 And
it came to pass, when the king heard the words
of the woman, that he rent his clothes; and he passed by upon the wall, and the
people looked, and, behold, he had sackcloth
within upon his flesh.
12-9:30 And
when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and
tired her head, and looked out at a window.
12-11:13 And
when Athaliah heard the noise of the guard and of the people, she came to the
people into the temple of the LORD.
12-19:1 And
it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and
covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.
12-19:4 It
may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of
Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God; and will reprove the
words which the LORD thy God hath heard:
wherefore lift up thy prayer for the
remnant that are left.
12-19:6 And
Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD,
Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard,
with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
12-19:8 So
Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for
he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.
12-19:9 And
when he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia,
Behold, he is come out to fight against thee: he sent messengers again unto
Hezekiah, saying,
12-19:11 Behold,
thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have
done to all lands, by destroying them utterly: and shalt thou be delivered?
12-19:20 Then
Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, That which thou hast prayed
to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.
12-19:25 Hast
thou not heard long ago how I have done it, and of
ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou
shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into
ruinous heaps.
12-20:5 Turn
again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God
of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I
have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go
up unto the house of the LORD.
12-20:12 At
that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters
and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard
that Hezekiah had been sick.
12-22:11 And
it came to pass, when the king had heard the
words of the book of the law, that he rent his clothes.
12-22:18 But
to the king of Judah which sent you to enquire of the LORD, thus shall ye say
to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, As
touching the words which thou hast heard;
12-22:19 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the LORD, when
thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants
thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy
clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.
12-25:23 And
when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah
governor, there came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah,
and Johanan the son of Careah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the
Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.
13-10:11 And
when all Jabeshgilead heard all that the
Philistines had done to Saul,
13-14:8 And
when the Philistines heard that David was
anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And
David heard of
it, and went out against them.
13-17:20 O
LORD, there is none like thee,
neither is there any God beside thee,
according to all that we have heard with our
ears.
13-18:9 Now
when Tou king of Hamath heard how David had
smitten all the host of Hadarezer king of Zobah;
13-19:8 And
when David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the host of the mighty men.
14-5:13 It
came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard
in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of
musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For
he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;
14-7:12 And
the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself
for an house of sacrifice.
14-9:1 And
when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of
Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a
very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and
precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all
that was in her heart.
14-9:5 And
she said to the king, It was a true
report which I heard in mine own land of thine
acts, and of thy wisdom:
14-9:6 Howbeit
I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the
greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: for
thou exceedest the fame that I heard.
14-10:2 And
it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who was in Egypt, whither he had fled from the presence of Solomon the
king, heard it,
that Jeroboam returned out of Egypt.
14-15:8 And
when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of
Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all
the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from
mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.
14-16:5 And
it came to pass, when Baasha heard it, that he left off building of Ramah,
and let his work cease.
14-20:29 And
the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those
countries, when they had heard that the LORD
fought against the enemies of Israel.
14-23:12 Now
when Athaliah heard the noise of the people running
and praising the king, she came to the people into the house of the LORD:
14-30:27 Then
the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even
unto heaven.
14-33:13 And
prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard
his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then
Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God.
14-34:19 And
it came to pass, when the king had heard the
words of the law, that he rent his clothes.
14-34:26 And
as for the king of Judah, who sent you to enquire of the LORD, so shall ye say
unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel concerning
the words which thou hast heard;
14-34:27 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou
heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and
humbledst thyself before me, and didst rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I
have even heard thee also, saith the LORD.
15-3:13 So
that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise
of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the
noise was heard afar off.
15-4:1 Now
when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard
that the children of the captivity builded the temple unto the LORD God of
Israel;
15-9:3 And
when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and
my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down
astonied.
16-1:4 And
it came to pass, when I heard these words, that
I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days,
and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,
16-2:10 When
Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it
grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the
children of Israel.
16-2:19 But
when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem
the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel
against the king?
16-4:1 But
it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that
we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the
Jews.
16-4:7 But
it came to pass, that when Sanballat,
and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be
stopped, then they were very wroth,
16-4:15 And
it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it
was known unto us, and God had brought their counsel to nought, that we
returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work.
16-5:6 And
I was very angry when I heard their cry and
these words.
16-6:1 Now
it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the
rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded
the wall, and that there was no
breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the
gates;)
16-6:16 And
it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard
thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they
perceived that this work was wrought of our God.
16-8:9 And
Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and
Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto
all the people, This day is holy unto
the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.
16-12:43 Also
that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them
rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the
joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
16-13:3 Now
it came to pass, when they had heard the law,
that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.
17-1:18 Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and
Media say this day unto all the king’s princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and
wrath.
17-2:8 So
it came to pass, when the king’s commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together
unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also
unto the king’s house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.
18-2:11 Now
when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil
that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the
Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made
an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.
18-4:16 It
stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,
18-13:1 Lo,
mine eye hath seen all this, mine ear
hath heard and understood it.
18-15:8 Hast
thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou
restrain wisdom to thyself?
18-16:2 I
have heard many such things: miserable
comforters are ye all.
18-19:7 Behold,
I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry
aloud, but there is no judgment.
18-20:3 I
have heard the check of my reproach, and the
spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.
18-26:14 Lo,
these are parts of his ways: but how
little a portion is heard of him? but the
thunder of his power who can understand?
18-28:22 Destruction
and death say, We have heard the fame thereof
with our ears.
18-29:11 When
the ear heard me, then it blessed me; and when the eye saw me, it gave witness to me:
18-33:8 Surely
thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard
the voice of thy words, saying,
18-37:4 After
it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will
not stay them when his voice is heard.
18-42:5 I
have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear:
but now mine eye seeth thee.
19-3:4 I
cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard
me out of his holy hill. Selah.
19-6:8 Depart
from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard
the voice of my weeping.
19-6:9 The
LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive
my prayer.
19-10:17 LORD,
thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou
wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
19-18:6 In
my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came
before him, even into his ears.
19-19:3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
19-22:21 Save
me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me
from the horns of the unicorns.
19-22:24 For
he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath
he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
19-28:6 Blessed
be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
19-31:13 For
I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took
counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.
19-34:4 I
sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered
me from all my fears.
19-34:6 This
poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his
troubles.
19-38:13 But
I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I
was as a dumb man that openeth
not his mouth.
19-40:1 I
waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
19-44:1 We
have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers
have told us, what work thou didst in
their days, in the times of old.
19-48:8 As
we have heard, so have we seen in the city of
the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever.
Selah.
19-61:5 For
thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given
me the heritage of those that fear
thy name.
19-62:11 God
hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that
power belongeth unto God.
19-66:8 O
bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
19-66:19 But verily God hath heard me; he
hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
19-76:8 Thou
didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven;
the earth feared, and was still,
19-78:3 Which
we have heard and known, and our fathers have
told us.
19-78:21 Therefore
the LORD heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger
also came up against Israel;
19-78:59 When
God heard this,
he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:
19-81:5 This
he ordained in Joseph for a testimony,
when he went out through the land of Egypt: where
I heard a language that I understood not.
19-97:8 Zion
heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah
rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.
19-106:44 Nevertheless
he regarded their affliction, when he heard
their cry:
19-116:1 I
love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
19-118:21 I
will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and
art become my salvation.
19-120:1 In
my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard
me.
19-132:6 Lo,
we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the
fields of the wood.
20-21:13 Whoso
stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall
not be heard.
21-9:16 Then
said I, Wisdom is better than
strength: nevertheless the poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.
21-9:17 The
words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth
among fools.
22-2:12 The
flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
23-6:8 Also
I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom
shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
23-10:30 Lift
up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard
unto Laish, O poor Anathoth.
23-15:4 And
Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard
even unto Jahaz: therefore the armed
soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous unto him.
23-16:6 We
have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.
23-21:10 O
my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I
declared unto you.
23-24:16 From
the uttermost part of the earth have we heard
songs, even glory to the righteous.
But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have
dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very
treacherously.
23-28:22 Now
therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even
determined upon the whole earth.
23-30:30 And
the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard,
and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.
23-37:1 And
it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and
covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.
23-37:4 It
may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of
Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the
words which the LORD thy God hath heard:
wherefore lift up thy prayer for the
remnant that is left.
23-37:6 And
Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD,
Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard,
wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
23-37:8 So
Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for
he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.
23-37:9 And
he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of
Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he heard it, he
sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,
23-37:11 Behold,
thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have
done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?
23-37:26 Hast
thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of
ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou
shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into
ruinous heaps.
23-38:5 Go,
and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I
will add unto thy days fifteen years.
23-39:1 At
that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters
and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that
he had been sick, and was recovered.
23-40:21 Have
ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not
been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations
of the earth?
23-40:28 Hast
thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the
Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his
understanding.
23-42:2 He
shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard
in the street.
23-48:6 Thou
hast heard, see all this; and will not ye
declare it? I have shewed thee new
things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.
23-49:8 Thus
saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard
thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee,
and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to
inherit the desolate heritages;
23-52:15 So
shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall
they see; and that which they had not
heard shall they consider.
23-58:4 Behold,
ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye
shall not fast as ye do this day, to
make your voice to be heard on high.
23-60:18 Violence
shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor
destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and
thy gates Praise.
23-64:4 For
since the beginning of the world men have
not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither
hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what
he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
23-65:19 And
I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping
shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of
crying.
23-66:8 Who
hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such
things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed,
she brought forth her children.
23-66:19 And
I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto
the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and
Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and
Javan, to the isles afar off, that
have not heard my fame, neither have seen my
glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
24-3:21 A
voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of
Israel: for they have perverted their way, and
they have forgotten the LORD their God.
24-4:19 My
bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me;
I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard,
O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.
24-4:31 For
I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that bringeth
forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself, that spreadeth
her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied
because of murderers.
24-6:7 As
a fountain casteth out her waters, so she casteth out her wickedness: violence
and spoil is heard in her; before me continually
is grief and wounds.
24-6:24 We
have heard the fame thereof: our hands wax
feeble: anguish hath taken hold of us, and
pain, as of a woman in travail.
24-7:13 And
now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto
you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard
not; and I called you, but ye answered not;
24-8:6 I
hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness,
saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth
into the battle.
24-8:16 The
snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the
whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they
are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and
those that dwell therein.
24-9:19 For
a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are
we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land,
because our dwellings have cast us out.
24-18:13 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Ask ye now among the heathen, who hath heard such things: the virgin of Israel hath done a
very horrible thing.
24-18:22 Let
a cry be heard from their houses, when thou
shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a pit to take me,
and hid snares for my feet.
24-20:1 Now
Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was
also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard
that Jeremiah prophesied these things.
24-20:10 For
I heard the defaming of many, fear on every
side. Report, say they, and we will
report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail
against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.
24-23:18 For
who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?
24-23:25 I
have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy
lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
24-25:8 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts; Because ye have not heard
my words,
24-25:36 A
voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an howling of the principal of the
flock, shall be heard:
for the LORD hath spoiled their pasture.
24-26:7 So
the priests and the prophets and all the people heard
Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.
24-26:10 When
the princes of Judah heard these things, then
they came up from the king’s house unto the house of the LORD, and sat down in
the entry of the new gate of the LORD’S house.
24-26:11 Then
spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people,
saying, This man is worthy to die;
for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard
with your ears.
24-26:12 Then
spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The LORD
sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that
ye have heard.
24-26:21 And
when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death:
but when Urijah heard it, he was afraid, and
fled, and went into Egypt;
24-30:5 For
thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling,
of fear, and not of peace.
24-31:15 Thus
saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah,
lamentation, and bitter weeping;
Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children,
because they were not.
24-31:18 I
have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was
chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to
the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.
24-33:10 Thus
saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in
this place, which ye say shall be desolate
without man and without beast, even in
the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate,
without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
24-34:10 Now
when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and
every one his maidservant, go free, that none should serve themselves of them
any more, then they obeyed, and let them go.
24-35:17 Therefore
thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon
Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have
pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not
answered.
24-36:11 When
Michaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard
out of the book all the words of the LORD,
24-36:13 Then
Michaiah declared unto them all the words that he had heard,
when Baruch read the book in the ears of the people.
24-36:16 Now
it came to pass, when they had heard all the
words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will
surely tell the king of all these words.
24-36:24 Yet
they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words.
24-37:5 Then
Pharaoh’s army was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that
besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they
departed from Jerusalem.
24-38:1 Then
Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashur, and Jucal the son
of Shelemiah, and Pashur the son of Malchiah, heard
the words that Jeremiah had spoken unto all the people, saying,
24-38:7 Now
when Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, one of the eunuchs which was in the king’s
house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the
dungeon; the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin;
24-40:7 Now
when all the captains of the forces which were
in the fields, even they and
their men, heard that the king of Babylon had
made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto
him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that
were not carried away captive to Babylon;
24-40:11 Likewise
when all the Jews that were in Moab,
and among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that were in all the countries, heard
that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over
them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan;
24-41:11 But
when Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, heard
of all the evil that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had done,
24-42:4 Then
Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard
you; behold, I will pray unto the
LORD your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever thing the LORD shall
answer you, I will declare it unto
you; I will keep nothing back from you.
24-46:12 The
nations have heard of thy shame, and thy cry
hath filled the land: for the mighty man hath stumbled against the mighty, and they are fallen both together.
24-48:4 Moab
is destroyed; her little ones have caused a cry to be heard.
24-48:5 For
in the going up of Luhith continual weeping shall go up; for in the going down
of Horonaim the enemies have heard a cry of
destruction.
24-48:29 We
have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceeding
proud) his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of
his heart.
24-49:2 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a
desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel
be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith the LORD.
24-49:14 I
have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an
ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying,
Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle.
24-49:21 The
earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.
24-49:23 Concerning
Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be
quiet.
24-50:43 The
king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and
his hands waxed feeble: anguish took hold of him, and pangs as of a woman in travail.
24-50:46 At
the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard among the nations.
24-51:46 And
lest your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.
24-51:51 We
are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame
hath covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the
LORD’S house.
25-1:21 They
have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done
it: thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be
like unto me.
25-3:56 Thou
hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my
breathing, at my cry.
25-3:61 Thou
hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me;
26-1:24 And
when they went, I heard the noise of their
wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice
of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.
26-1:28 As
the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness
round about. This was the appearance
of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard
a voice of one that spake.
26-2:2 And
the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that
I heard him that spake unto me.
26-3:12 Then
the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a
voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed
be the glory of the LORD from his
place.
26-3:13 I heard also
the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and
the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing.
26-10:5 And
the sound of the cherubims’ wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of
the Almighty God when he speaketh.
26-19:4 The
nations also heard of him; he was taken in their
pit, and they brought him with chains unto the land of Egypt.
26-19:9 And
they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they
brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel.
26-26:13 And
I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall
be no more heard.
26-27:30 And
shall cause their voice to be heard against
thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they
shall wallow themselves in the ashes:
26-33:5 He
heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning;
his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
26-35:12 And
thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard
all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel,
saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.
26-35:13 Thus
with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words
against me: I have heard them.
26-43:6 And
I heard him
speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.
27-3:7 Therefore
at that time, when all the people heard the
sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick,
all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had
set up.
27-5:14 I
have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the
gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and
excellent wisdom is found in thee.
27-5:16 And
I have heard of thee, that thou canst make
interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and
make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with
scarlet, and have a chain of gold
about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
27-6:14 Then
the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and
he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.
27-8:13 Then
I heard one saint speaking, and another saint
said unto that certain saint which
spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of
desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
27-8:16 And
I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and
said, Gabriel, make this man to
understand the vision.
27-10:9 Yet
heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep
sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
27-10:12 Then
said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set
thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words
were heard, and I am come for thy words.
27-12:7 And
I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when
he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that
liveth for ever that it shall be for
a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the
power of the holy people, all these things
shall be finished.
27-12:8 And
I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my
Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
28-7:12 When
they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the
fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.
28-14:8 Ephraim
shall say, What have I to do any more
with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like
a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
31-1:1 The
vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is
sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.
32-2:2 And
said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
33-5:15 And
I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have
not heard.
34-2:13 Behold,
I am against thee, saith the LORD of
hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour
thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of
thy messengers shall no more be heard.
35-3:2 O
LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work
in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath
remember mercy.
35-3:16 When
I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at
the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I
might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will
invade them with his troops.
36-2:8 I
have heard the reproach of Moab, and the
revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and
magnified themselves against their
border.
38-8:23 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it
shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of
the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We
will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
39-3:16 Then
they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened,
and heard it,
and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the
LORD, and that thought upon his name.
40-2:3 When
Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
40-2:9 When
they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo,
the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood
over where the young child was.
40-2:18 In
Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and
weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for
her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.
40-2:22 But
when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea
in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding,
being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:
40-4:12 Now
when Jesus had heard that John was cast into
prison, he departed into Galilee;
40-5:21 Ye
have heard that it was said by them of old time,
Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the
judgment:
40-5:27 Ye
have heard that it was said by them of old time,
Thou shalt not commit adultery:
40-5:33 Again,
ye have heard that it hath been said by them of
old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord
thine oaths:
40-5:38 Ye
have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an
eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
40-5:43 Ye
have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt
love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
40-6:7 But
when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard
for their much speaking.
40-8:10 When
Jesus heard it,
he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have
not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
40-9:12 But
when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician,
but they that are sick.
40-11:2 Now
when John had heard in the prison the works of
Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
40-12:24 But
when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth
not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
40-13:17 For
verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those
things which ye see, and have not seen them;
and to hear those things which ye
hear, and have not heard them.
40-14:1 At
that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame
of Jesus,
40-14:13 When
Jesus heard of
it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the
people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
40-15:12 Then
came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were
offended, after they heard this saying?
40-17:6 And
when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
40-19:22 But
when the young man heard that saying, he went
away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
40-19:25 When
his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
40-20:24 And
when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.
40-20:30 And,
behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have
mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of
David.
40-21:45 And
when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard
his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
40-22:7 But
when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed
those murderers, and burned up their city.
40-22:22 When
they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
40-22:33 And
when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
40-22:34 But
when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the
Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
40-26:65 Then
the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what
further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard
his blasphemy.
40-27:47 Some
of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.
41-2:17 When
Jesus heard it,
he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but
they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to
repentance.
41-3:8 And
from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from
beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they
had heard what great things he did, came unto
him.
41-3:21 And
when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is
beside himself.
41-4:15 And
these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the
word that was sown in their hearts.
41-4:16 And
these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
41-5:27 When
she had heard of Jesus, came in the press
behind, and touched his garment.
41-5:36 As
soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he
saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
41-6:14 And
king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John
the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth
themselves in him.
41-6:16 But
when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the
dead.
41-6:20 For
Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed
him; and when he heard him, he did many things,
and heard him gladly.
41-6:29 And
when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.
41-6:55 And
ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds
those that were sick, where they heard he was.
41-7:25 For
a certain woman, whose young daughter
had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came
and fell at his feet:
41-10:41 And
when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.
41-10:47 And
when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he
began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son
of David, have mercy on me.
41-11:14 And
Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever.
And his disciples heard it.
41-11:18 And
the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him:
for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
41-12:28 And
one of the scribes came, and having heard them
reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him,
Which is the first commandment of all?
41-12:37 David
therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard
him gladly.
41-14:11 And
when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how
he might conveniently betray him.
41-14:58 We
heard him say, I will destroy this temple that
is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without
hands.
41-14:64 Ye
have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And
they all condemned him to be guilty of death.
41-15:35 And
some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.
41-16:11 And
they, when they had heard that he was alive, and
had been seen of her, believed not.
42-1:13 But
the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son,
and thou shalt call his name John.
42-1:41 And
it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the
salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with
the Holy Ghost:
42-1:58 And
her neighbours and her cousins heard how the
Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.
42-1:66 And
all they that heard them laid them up in their
hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord
was with him.
42-2:18 And
all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
42-2:20 And
the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that
they had heard and seen, as it was told unto
them.
42-2:47 And
all that heard him were astonished at his
understanding and answers.
42-4:23 And
he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself:
whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do
also here in thy country.
42-4:28 And
all they in the synagogue, when they heard these
things, were filled with wrath,
42-7:3 And
when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the
elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.
42-7:9 When
Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him,
and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto
you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
42-7:22 Then
Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have
seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame
walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor
the gospel is preached.
42-7:29 And
all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the
baptism of John.
42-8:14 And
that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches
and pleasures of this life, and bring
no fruit to perfection.
42-8:15 But
that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
42-8:50 But
when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall
be made whole.
42-9:7 Now
Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by
him: and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John was
risen from the dead;
42-10:24 For
I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which
ye see, and have not seen them; and
to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard
them.
42-10:39 And
she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.
42-12:3 Therefore
whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard
in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be
proclaimed upon the housetops.
42-14:15 And
when one of them that sat at meat with him heard
these things, he said unto him, Blessed is
he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.
42-15:25 Now
his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
42-16:14 And
the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all
these things: and they derided him.
42-18:22 Now
when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him,
Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the
poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
42-18:23 And
when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for
he was very rich.
42-18:26 And
they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?
42-19:11 And
as they heard these things, he added and spake a
parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the
kingdom of God should immediately appear.
42-20:16 He
shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others.
And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.
42-22:71 And
they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.
42-23:6 When
Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the
man were a Galilaean.
42-23:8 And
when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of
a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen
some miracle done by him.
43-1:37 And
the two disciples heard him speak, and they
followed Jesus.
43-1:40 One
of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
43-3:32 And
what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth;
and no man receiveth his testimony.
43-4:1 When
therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard
that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
43-4:42 And
said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves,
and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
43-4:47 When
he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into
Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal
his son: for he was at the point of death.
43-5:37 And
the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have
neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen
his shape.
43-6:45 It
is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man
therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of
the Father, cometh unto me.
43-6:60 Many
therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who
can hear it?
43-7:32 The
Pharisees heard that the people murmured such
things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to
take him.
43-7:40 Many
of the people therefore, when they heard this
saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
43-8:6 This
they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped
down, and with his finger wrote on
the ground, as though he heard them not.
43-8:9 And
they which heard it, being convicted by their
own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left
alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
43-8:26 I
have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I
speak to the world those things which I have heard
of him.
43-8:40 But
now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
43-9:32 Since
the world began was it not heard that any man
opened the eyes of one that was born blind.
43-9:35 Jesus
heard that they had cast him out; and when he
had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
43-9:40 And
some of the Pharisees which were with
him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we
blind also?
43-11:4 When
Jesus heard that,
he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that
the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
43-11:6 When
he had heard therefore that he was sick, he
abode two days still in the same place where he was.
43-11:20 Then
Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was
coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still
in the house.
43-11:29 As
soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.
43-11:41 Then
they took away the stone from the place where
the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his
eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
43-12:12 On
the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
43-12:18 For
this cause the people also met him, for that they heard
that he had done this miracle.
43-12:29 The
people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said,
An angel spake to him.
43-12:34 The
people answered him, We have heard out of the
law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be
lifted up? who is this Son of man?
43-14:28 Ye
have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and
come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye
would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater
than I.
43-15:15 Henceforth
I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I
have called you friends; for all things that I have heard
of my Father I have made known unto you.
43-18:21 Why
askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I
have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.
43-19:8 When
Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the
more afraid;
43-19:13 When
Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought
Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the
Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.
43-21:7 Therefore
that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon
Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
44-1:4 And,
being assembled together with them, commanded
them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of
the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
44-2:6 Now
when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded,
because that every man heard them speak in his
own language.
44-2:37 Now
when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to
the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren,
what shall we do?
44-4:4 Howbeit
many of them which heard the word believed; and
the number of the men was about five thousand.
44-4:20 For
we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
44-4:24 And
when they heard that, they lifted up their voice
to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all
that in them is:
44-5:5 And
Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear
came on all them that heard these things.
44-5:11 And
great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.
44-5:21 And
when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and
taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the
council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the
prison to have them brought.
44-5:24 Now
when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto
this would grow.
44-5:33 When
they heard that,
they were cut to the heart, and
took counsel to slay them.
44-6:11 Then
they suborned men, which said, We have heard him
speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against
God.
44-6:14 For
we have heard him say, that this Jesus of
Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses
delivered us.
44-7:12 But
when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt,
he sent out our fathers first.
44-7:34 I
have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I
have heard their groaning, and am come down to
deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.
44-7:54 When
they heard these things, they were cut to the
heart, and they gnashed on him with their
teeth.
44-8:14 Now
when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard
that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
44-8:30 And
Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said,
Understandest thou what thou readest?
44-9:4 And
he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying
unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
44-9:13 Then
Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of
this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
44-9:21 But
all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which
called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he
might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
44-9:38 And
forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two
men, desiring him that he would not delay
to come to them.
44-10:31 And
said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine
alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
44-10:44 While
Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
44-10:46 For
they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify
God. Then answered Peter,
44-11:1 And
the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard
that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
44-11:7 And
I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter;
slay and eat.
44-11:18 When
they heard these things, they held their peace,
and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted
repentance unto life.
44-13:48 And
when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad,
and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal
life believed.
44-14:9 The
same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding
him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
44-14:14 Which when the apostles, Barnabas and
Paul, heard of,
they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,
44-15:24 Forasmuch
as we have heard, that certain which went out
from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the
law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
44-16:14 And
a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which
worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things
which were spoken of Paul.
44-16:25 And
at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners
heard them.
44-16:38 And
the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they
heard that they were Romans.
44-17:8 And
they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things.
44-17:32 And
when they heard of the resurrection of the dead,
some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.
44-18:26 And
he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
44-19:2 He
said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they
said unto him, We have not so much as heard
whether there be any Holy Ghost.
44-19:5 When
they heard this,
they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
44-19:10 And
this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and
Greeks.
44-19:28 And
when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying,
Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
44-21:12 And
when we heard these things, both we, and they of
that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.
44-21:20 And
when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest,
brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all
zealous of the law:
44-22:2 (And
when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew
tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he saith,)
44-22:7 And
I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying
unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
44-22:9 And
they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
44-22:15 For
thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
44-22:26 When
the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what
thou doest: for this man is a Roman.
44-23:16 And
when Paul’s sister’s son heard of their lying in
wait, he went and entered into the castle, and told Paul.
44-24:22 And
when Felix heard these things, having more
perfect knowledge of that way, he
deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will
know the uttermost of your matter.
44-24:24 And
after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess,
he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the
faith in Christ.
44-26:14 And
when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a
voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why
persecutest thou me? it is hard for
thee to kick against the pricks.
44-28:15 And
from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they
came to meet us as far as Appii forum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul
saw, he thanked God, and took courage.
45-10:14 How
then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they
believe in him of whom they have not heard? and
how shall they hear without a preacher?
45-10:18 But
I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their
sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
45-15:21 But
as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that
have not heard shall understand.
46-2:9 But
as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,
neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love him.
47-2 CORINTHIANS
47-6:2 (For
he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted,
and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
47-12:4 How
that he was caught up into paradise, and heard
unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
48-1:13 For
ye have heard of my conversation in time past in
the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and
wasted it:
48-1:23 But
they had heard only, That he which persecuted us
in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
49-1:13 In
whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of
promise,
49-1:15 Wherefore
I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord
Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
49-3:2 If
ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of
God which is given me to you-ward:
49-4:21 If
so be that ye have heard him, and have been
taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
50-2:26 For
he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.
50-4:9 Those
things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard,
and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
51-1:4 Since
we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of
the love which ye have to all the
saints,
51-1:5 For
the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
51-1:6 Which
is come unto you, as it is in all the
world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it
doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in
truth:
51-1:9 For
this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to
desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and
spiritual understanding;
51-1:23 If
ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which
was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a
minister;
52-2:13 For
this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the
word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which
effectually worketh also in you that believe.
55-1:13 Hold
fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard
of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
55-2:2 And
the things that thou hast heard of me among many
witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach
others also.
58-2:1 Therefore
we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
58-2:3 How
shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be
spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
58-3:16 For
some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit
not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
58-4:2 For
unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached
did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
58-5:7 Who
in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with
strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
58-12:19 And
the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that
the word should not be spoken to them any more:
59-5:11 Behold,
we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard
of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is
very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
61-1:18 And
this voice which came from heaven we heard, when
we were with him in the holy mount.
62-1:1 That
which was from the beginning, which we have heard,
which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have
handled, of the Word of life;
62-1:3 That
which we have seen and heard declare we unto
you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son
Jesus Christ.
62-1:5 This
then is the message which we have heard of him,
and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
62-2:7 Brethren,
I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from
the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
62-2:18 Little
children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard
that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we
know that it is the last time.
62-2:24 Let
that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard
from the beginning. If that which ye have heard
from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and
in the Father.
62-3:11 For
this is the message that ye heard from the
beginning, that we should love one another.
62-4:3 And
every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not
of God: and this is that spirit of
antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should
come; and even now already is it in the world.
63-1:6 And
this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment,
That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye
should walk in it.
66-1:10 I
was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard
behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
66-3:3 Remember
therefore how thou hast received and heard, and
hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee
as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
66-4:1 After
this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened
in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with
me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be
hereafter.
66-5:11 And
I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels
round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was
ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
66-5:13 And
every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and
such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard
I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for
ever and ever.
66-6:1 And
I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard,
as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
66-6:3 And
when he had opened the second seal, I heard the
second beast say, Come and see.
66-6:5 And
when he had opened the third seal, I heard the
third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that
sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
66-6:6 And
I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts
say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny;
and see thou hurt not the oil and the
wine.
66-6:7 And
when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice
of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
66-7:4 And
I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
66-8:13 And
I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the
midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of
the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels,
which are yet to sound!
66-9:13 And
the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice
from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
66-9:16 And
the number of the army of the horsemen were
two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard
the number of them.
66-10:4 And
when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up
those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
66-10:8 And
the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me
again, and said, Go and take the
little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea
and upon the earth.
66-11:12 And
they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto
them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their
enemies beheld them.
66-12:10 And
I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is
come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his
Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before
our God day and night.
66-14:2 And
I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of
many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
66-14:13 And
I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me,
Write, Blessed are the dead which die
in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from
their labours; and their works do follow them.
66-16:1 And
I heard a great voice out of the temple saying
to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God
upon the earth.
66-16:5 And
I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art
righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged
thus.
66-16:7 And
I heard another out of the altar say, Even so,
Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are
thy judgments.
66-18:4 And
I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come
out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye
receive not of her plagues.
66-18:22 And
the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of
whatsoever craft he be, shall be
found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
66-18:23 And
the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the
bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no
more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by
thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
66-19:1 And
after these things I heard a great voice of much
people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and
power, unto the Lord our God:
66-19:6 And
I heard as it were the voice of a great
multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty
thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
66-21:3 And
I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with
men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself
shall be with them, and be their God.
66-22:8 And
I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet
of the angel which shewed me these things.
