41-7:26 The woman
was a Greek, a
Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the
devil out of her daughter.
42-23:38 And a
superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE
JEWS.
43-19:20 This title
then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to
the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and
Greek, and Latin.
44-16:1 Then came
he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named
Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but
his father was a Greek:
44-16:3 Him would
Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the
Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek.
44-21:37 And as
Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak
unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek?
45-1:16 For I am
not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew
first, and also to the Greek.
45-10:12 For there
is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for
the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
48-2:3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
48-3:28 There is neither
Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is
neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
51-3:11 Where
there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision,
Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free:
but Christ is all, and in all.
66-9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless
pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his
name Apollyon.

43-12:20 And there
were certain Greeks among
them that came up to worship at the feast:
44-14:1 And it came
to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the
Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.
44-17:4 And some
of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of
the chief women not a few.
44-17:12 Therefore
many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
44-18:4 And he
reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
44-18:17 Then all
the Greeks took
Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Gallio cared for none of those
things.
44-19:10 And this
continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard
the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
44-19:17 And this
was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them
all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
44-20:21 Testifying
both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our
Lord Jesus Christ.
44-21:28 Crying
out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and
the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this
holy place.
45-1:14 I am
debtor both to the Greeks, and
to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
46-1:22 For
the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
46-1:23 But
we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
46-1:24 But
unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

01-1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and
to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
01-9:3 Every moving thing that liveth
shall be meat for you; even as the green herb
have I given you all things.
01-30:37 And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and
pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.
02-10:15 For
they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and
they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the
hail had left: and there remained not any green
thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of
Egypt.
03-2:14 And if thou offer a meat offering of
thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits
green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.
03-23:14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor
parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame
day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all
your dwellings.
05-12:2 Ye shall utterly destroy all the places,
wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high
mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green
tree:
07-16:7 And Samson said unto her, If they
bind me with seven green withs that were never
dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.
07-16:8 Then the lords of the Philistines
brought up to her seven green withs which had
not been dried, and she bound him with them.
11-14:23 For they also built them high places,
and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree.
12-16:4 And he sacrificed and burnt incense
in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green
tree.
12-17:10 And they set them up images and
groves in every high hill, and under every green
tree:
12-19:26 Therefore their inhabitants were of
small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as
the green herb, as the grass on the house tops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.
14-28:4 He sacrificed also and burnt incense
in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green
tree.
17-1:6 Where
were white, green, and blue, hangings, fastened with cords of fine linen
and purple to silver rings and pillars of marble: the beds were of gold and silver, upon a pavement of red, and blue, and
white, and black, marble.
18-8:16 He is green before the sun, and his
branch shooteth forth in his garden.
18-15:32 It shall be accomplished before his
time, and his branch shall not be green.
18-39:8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after
every green thing.
19-23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
19-37:2 For they shall soon be cut down like
the grass, and wither as the green herb.
19-37:35 I have seen the wicked in great
power, and spreading himself like a green bay
tree.
19-52:8 But I am like a green olive tree in the
house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
22-1:16 Behold,
thou art fair, my beloved, yea,
pleasant: also our bed is green.
22-2:13 The fig
tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines
with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one,
and come away.
23-15:6 For the waters of Nimrim shall be
desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass faileth, there is no green thing.
23-37:27 Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed
and confounded: they were as the
grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the
grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted
before it be grown up.
23-57:5 Enflaming yourselves with idols
under every green tree, slaying the children in
the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?
24-2:20 For of old time I have broken thy
yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou
saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.
24-3:6 The LORD said also unto me in the
days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that
which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain
and under every green tree, and there hath
played the harlot.
24-3:13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity,
that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy
ways to the strangers under every green tree,
and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.
24-11:16 The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath
kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.
24-17:2 Whilst their children remember their
altars and their groves by the green trees upon
the high hills.
24-17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by
the waters, and that spreadeth out
her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall
be green; and shall not be careful in the year
of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
26-6:13 Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round
about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and
under every green tree, and under every thick
oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
26-17:24 And all the trees of the field shall
know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low
tree, have dried up the green tree, and have
made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.
26-20:47 And say to the forest of the south,
Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a
fire in thee, and it shall devour every green
tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and
all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.
28-14:8 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green
fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
41-6:39 And he commanded them to make all
sit down by companies upon the green grass.
42-23:31 For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?
66-8:7 The first angel sounded, and there
followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and
the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green
grass was burnt up.
66-9:4 And it was commanded them that they
should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green
thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in
their foreheads.

either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be

03-14:37 And he shall look on the plague, and,

09-25:31 That this shall be no grief unto thee, nor offence of heart unto my lord,
either that thou hast shed blood causeless, or that my lord hath avenged
himself: but when the LORD shall have dealt well with my lord, then remember
thine handmaid.
14-6:29 Then
what prayer or what supplication
soever shall be made of any man, or of all thy people Israel, when every one
shall know his own sore and his own grief, and
shall spread forth his hands in this house:
18-2:13 So they sat down with him upon the

18-6:2 Oh that my grief

18-16:5 But

him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for
sin, he shall see his seed, he shall
prolong his days, and the pleasure of
the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
24-6:7 As a fountain casteth out her waters,
so she casteth out her wickedness: violence and spoil is heard in her; before
me continually is grief and wounds.
24-10:19 Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is
grievous: but I said, Truly this is a
grief, and I must bear it.

not overcharge you all.
58-13:17 Obey them that have the rule over
you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must
give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is
unprofitable for you.
60-2:19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
