01-GENESIS
01-41:39 And
Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath
shewed thee all this, there is none so
discreet and wise as thou art:
04-NUMBERS
04-10:31 And
he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as
thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us
instead of eyes.
05-12:12 And
ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your
daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.
05-17:16 But
he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to
Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch
as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.
06-17:14 And
the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit,
seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto?
07-11:36 And
she said unto him, My father, if thou
hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath
proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the
LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.
09-20:42 And
Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, forasmuch
as we have sworn both of us in the name of the LORD, saying, The LORD be
between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed for ever. And he arose
and departed: and Jonathan went into the city.
09-24:18 And
thou hast shewed this day how that thou hast dealt well with me: forasmuch as when the LORD had delivered me into thine
hand, thou killedst me not.
10-19:30 And
Mephibosheth said unto the king, Yea, let him take all, forasmuch as my lord the king is come again in peace unto his own
house.
11-11:11 Wherefore
the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is
done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have
commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to
thy servant.
11-13:21 And
he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD,
Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of
the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded
thee,
11-14:7 Go,
tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of
11-16:2 Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made
thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam,
and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;
12-1:16 And
he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch
as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou
shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely
die.
13-5:1 Now
the sons of Reuben the firstborn of
14-6:8 But
the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it
was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it
was in thine heart:
15-7:14 Forasmuch as thou art sent of the king, and of his
seven counsellors, to enquire concerning
23-8:6 Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of
Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;
23-29:13 Wherefore
the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw
near me with their mouth, and with
their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their
fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
24-10:6 Forasmuch as there
is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art
great, and thy name is great in
might.
24-10:7 Who
would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.
27-2:40 And
the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch
as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things:
and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
27-2:41 And
whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron,
the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the
iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed
with miry clay.
27-2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of
the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass,
the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king
what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
27-4:18 This
dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the
interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the
wise men of my kingdom are not able
to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.
27-5:12 Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and
understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and
dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named
Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.
27-6:4 Then
the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning
the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was
faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
27-6:22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the
lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch
as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I
done no hurt.
30-5:11 Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him
burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but
ye shall not drink wine of them.
40-18:25 But
forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord
commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and
payment to be made.
42-1:1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in
order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
44-9:38 And
forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the
disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to
them.
44-11:17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord
Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
44-15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went
out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the
law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
44-17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we
ought not to think that the Godhead is like
unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.
44-24:10 Then
Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years
a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
46-11:7 For
a man indeed ought not to cover his head,
forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God:
but the woman is the glory of the man.
46-14:12 Even
so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the
edifying of the church.
46-15:58 Therefore,
my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work
of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your
labour is not in vain in the Lord.
47-3:3 Forasmuch as
ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us,
written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of
stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
58-2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh
and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death
he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
60-1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your
vain conversation received by tradition
from your fathers;
60-4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the
flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in
the flesh hath ceased from sin;

40-MATTHEW
40-3:14 But
John forbad him, saying, I have need to be
baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
41-9:38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one
casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
42-9:49 And
John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and
we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.
61-2:16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass
speaking with man’s voice forbad the
madness of the prophet.

David and his men, which were about six

14-2 CHRONICLES

24-41:8 But
ten men were found among them that said unto Ishmael, Slay us not: for we have treasures in the field, of wheat, and of
barley, and of oil, and of honey. So he forbare,
and slew them not among their brethren.

48-3:21 Is the law then against the promises of
God? God forbid: for if there had been a law
given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the

Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David’s brother, answered and said, Let not my lord
suppose that they have slain all the
young men the king’s sons; for Amnon only is dead: for by the appointment of
Absalom this hath been determined from the day that he forced
his sister Tamar.
20-7:21 With
her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips
she forced him.

14-2 CHRONICLES
14-17:2 And
he placed forces in all the fenced cities of
Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim,
which Asa his father had taken.
18-JOB
18-36:19 Will
he esteem thy riches? no, not gold,
nor all the forces of strength.
23-60:5 Then
thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged;
because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
23-60:11 Therefore
thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that
men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
24-40:7 Now
when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made
Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him
men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were
not carried away captive to Babylon;
24-40:13 Moreover
Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces
that were in the fields, came to
Gedaliah to Mizpah,
24-41:11 But
when Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were
with him, heard of all the evil that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had done,
24-41:13 Now
it came to pass, that when all the
people which were with Ishmael saw
Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces
that were with him, then they were
glad.
24-41:16 Then
took Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were
with him, all the remnant of the people whom he had recovered from Ishmael
the son of Nethaniah, from Mizpah, after that
he had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, even mighty men of war, and the women, and the children, and the
eunuchs, whom he had brought again from Gibeon:
24-42:1 Then
all the captains of the forces, and Johanan the
son of Kareah, and Jezaniah the son of Hoshaiah, and all the people from the
least even unto the greatest, came near,
24-42:8 Then
called he Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces which were
with him, and all the people from the least even to the greatest,
24-43:4 So
Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces,
and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of
Judah.
24-43:5 But
Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces,
took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all nations, whither
they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah;
27-11:10 But
his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall
certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be
stirred up, even to his fortress.
27-11:38 But
in his estate shall he honour the God of forces:
and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and
with precious stones, and pleasant things.
31-1:11 In
the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers
carried away captive his forces, and foreigners
entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.

05-DEUTERONOMY
05-20:19 When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making
war against it to take it, thou shalt
not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an ax
against them: for thou mayest eat of
them, and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man’s life) to employ them in
the siege:
20-PROVERBS
20-30:33 Surely
the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose
bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath
bringeth forth strife.

07-JUDGES
07-3:28 And
he said unto them, Follow after me: for the LORD hath delivered your enemies
the Moabites into your hand. And they went down after him, and took the fords of Jordan toward Moab, and suffered not a man to
pass over.
23-ISAIAH
23-16:2 For
it shall be, that, as a wandering
bird cast out of the nest, so the
daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of
Arnon.

27-DANIEL
27-11:24 He
shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he
shall do that which his fathers have not
done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and
spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even
for a time.
27-11:25 And
he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a
great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very
great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

24-JEREMIAH
24-11:10 They
are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers,

went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant
which I made with their fathers.
55-2 TIMOTHY
55-1:3 I
thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing
I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

10-11:15 And
he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront

12-16:14 And
he brought also the brasen altar, which was
before the LORD, from the forefront of the
house, from between the altar and the house of the LORD, and put it on the
north side of the altar.
14-20:27 Then
they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy;
for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies.
26-40:19 Then
he measured the breadth from the forefront of
the lower gate unto the forefront of the inner court without, an hundred cubits
eastward and northward.
26-47:1 Afterward
he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out
from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood
toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of
the house, at the south side of the
altar.

03-13:42 And
if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead,
a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy
sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if
