01-GENESIS
01-9:23 And
Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it
upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of
their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness.
01-12:1 Now
the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred,
and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I
will shew thee:
01-20:13 And
it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father’s
house, that I said unto her, This is thy
kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come,
say of me, He is my brother.
01-24:7 The
LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father’s
house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware
unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel
before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.
01-24:23 And
said, Whose daughter art thou? tell
me, I pray thee: is there room in thy
father’s house for us to lodge in?
01-24:38 But
thou shalt go unto my father’s house, and to my
kindred, and take a wife unto my son.
01-24:40 And
he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee,
and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and
of my father’s house:
01-26:15 For
all the wells which his father’s servants had
digged in the days of Abraham his father,
the Philistines had stopped them, and filled them with earth.
01-28:21 So
that I come again to my father’s house in peace;
then shall the LORD be my God:
01-29:9 And
while he yet spake with them, Rachel came with her father’s
sheep: for she kept them.
01-29:12 And
Jacob told Rachel that he was her father’s brother, and that he was Rebekah’s son: and she ran and told her father.
01-31:1 And
he heard the words of Laban’s sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father’s;
and of that which was our father’s
hath he gotten all this glory.
01-31:5 And
said unto them, I see your father’s countenance,
that it is not toward me as before;
but the God of my father hath been with me.
01-31:14 And
Rachel and Leah answered and said unto him, Is
there yet any portion or inheritance for us in our father’s
house?
01-31:19 And
Laban went to shear his sheep: and Rachel had stolen the images that were her father’s.
01-31:30 And
now, though thou wouldest needs be
gone, because thou sore longedst after thy father’s
house, yet wherefore hast thou stolen
my gods?
01-35:22 And
it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with
Bilhah his father’s concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:
01-37:2 These
are the generations of Jacob. Joseph,
being seventeen years old, was
feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.
01-37:12 And
his brethren went to feed their father’s flock
in Shechem.
01-38:11 Then
said Judah to Tamar his daughter in law, Remain a widow at thy father’s house, till Shelah my son be grown: for he
said, Lest peradventure he die also, as his brethren did. And Tamar went and dwelt in her father’s
house.
01-41:51 And
Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.
01-46:31 And
Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father’s
house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father’s house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;
01-47:12 And
Joseph nourished his father, and his
brethren, and all his father’s household, with
bread, according to their families.
01-48:17 And
when Joseph saw that his father laid his
right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father’s hand, to remove it from Ephraim’s head unto
Manasseh’s head.
01-49:4 Unstable
as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.
01-49:8
01-50:1 And
Joseph fell upon his father’s face, and wept
upon him, and kissed him.
01-50:8 And
all the house of Joseph, and his brethren, and his father’s
house: only their little ones, and their flocks, and their herds, they left in

02-2:16 Now
the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water
their father’s flock.
02-6:20 And
Amram took him Jochebed his father’s sister to
wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven
years.
02-15:2 The
LORD is my strength and song, and he
is become my salvation: he is my God,
and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s
God, and I will exalt him.
03-16:32 And
the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in
the priest’s office in his father’s stead, shall
make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:
03-18:8 The
nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover:
it is thy father’s
nakedness.
03-18:11 The
nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter,
begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover
her nakedness.
03-18:12 Thou
shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s
sister: she is thy father’s near kinswoman.
03-18:14 Thou
shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s
brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.
03-20:11 And
the man that lieth with his father’s wife hath
uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them
shall surely be put to death; their blood shall
be upon them.
03-20:17 And
if a man shall take his sister, his father’s
daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his
nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and
they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his
sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
03-20:19 And
thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister, nor of thy father’s sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they
shall bear their iniquity.
03-22:13 But
if the priest’s daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is
returned unto her father’s house, as in her
youth, she shall eat of her father’s meat: but
there shall no stranger eat thereof.
04-2:2 Every
man of the children of
04-18:1 And
the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father’s
house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou and thy sons
with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.
04-27:7 The
daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession
of an inheritance among their father’s brethren;
and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father
to pass unto them.
04-27:10 And
if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father’s brethren.
04-30:3 If
a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father’s
house in her youth;
04-30:16 These
are the statutes, which the LORD
commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s
house.
04-36:11 For
Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad,
were married unto their father’s brothers’ sons:
05-22:21 Then
they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s
house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die:
because she hath wrought folly in
05-22:30 A
man shall not take his father’s wife, nor
discover his father’s skirt.
05-27:20 Cursed
be he that lieth with his father’s wife; because he uncovereth his father’s skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.
06-2:12 Now
therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you
kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father’s
house, and give me a true token:
06-2:18 Behold,
when we come into the land, thou
shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us
down by: and thou shalt bring thy father,
and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father’s
household, home unto thee.
06-6:25 And
Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s
household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in
07-6:15 And
he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save
07-6:25 And
it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father’s young bullock, even the second bullock of
seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it:
07-6:27 Then
Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as the LORD had said unto him: and
so it was, because he feared his father’s household, and the men of the city, that he
could not do it by day, that he did it by night.
07-9:5 And
he went unto his father’s house at Ophrah, and
slew his brethren the sons of Jerubbaal, being
threescore and ten persons, upon one stone: notwithstanding yet Jotham the
youngest son of Jerubbaal was left; for he hid himself.
07-9:18 And
ye are risen up against my father’s house this
day, and have slain his sons, threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and
have made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem,
because he is your brother;)
07-11:2 And
Gilead’s wife bare him sons; and his wife’s sons grew up, and they thrust out
Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father’s house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.
07-11:7 And
Jephthah said unto the elders of
07-14:15 And
it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson’s wife, Entice
thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father’s house with fire: have ye called us to take
that we have? is it not so?
07-14:19 And
the spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew
thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them
which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.
07-19:2 And
his concubine played the whore against him, and went away from him unto her father’s house to Bethlehemjudah, and was there four
whole months.
07-19:3 And
her husband arose, and went after her, to speak friendly unto her, and to bring her again, having his
servant with him, and a couple of asses: and she brought him into her father’s house: and when the father
of the damsel saw him, he rejoiced to meet him.
09-2:31 Behold,
the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in
thine house.
09-9:20 And
as for thine asses that were lost three days ago, set not thy mind on them; for
they are found. And on whom is all
the desire of

David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s
sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:
09-18:2 And
Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father’s house.
09-18:18 And
David said unto Saul, Who am I? and
what is my life, or my father’s family in
09-22:1 David
therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his
brethren and all his father’s house heard it, they went down thither to him.
09-22:11 Then
the king sent to call Ahimelech the priest, the son of Ahitub, and all his father’s house, the priests that were in Nob: and they came all of them to the king.
09-22:16 And
the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father’s house.
09-22:22 And
David said unto Abiathar, I knew it that
day, when Doeg the Edomite was there,
that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of thy father’s
house.
09-24:21 Swear
now therefore unto me by the LORD, that thou wilt not cut off my seed after me,
and that thou wilt not destroy my name out of my father’s
house.
10-3:7 And
Saul had a concubine, whose name was Rizpah,
the daughter of Aiah: and Ishbosheth said
to Abner, Wherefore hast thou gone in unto my father’s
concubine?
10-3:29 Let
it rest on the head of Joab, and on all his father’s
house; and let there not fail from the house of Joab one that hath an issue, or
that is a leper, or that leaneth on a staff, or that falleth on the sword, or
that lacketh bread.
10-9:7 And
David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for
Jonathan thy father’s sake, and will restore
thee all the land of Saul thy father; and
thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
10-14:9 And
the woman of Tekoah said unto the king, My lord, O king, the iniquity be on me, and on my father’s house: and the king and his throne be guiltless.
10-15:34 But
if thou return to the city, and say unto Absalom, I will be thy servant, O
king; as I have been thy father’s servant
hitherto, so will I now also be thy servant: then mayest thou for me
defeat the counsel of Ahithophel.
10-16:19 And
again, whom should I serve? should I not
serve in the presence of his son? as
I have served in thy father’s presence, so will
I be in thy presence.
10-16:21 And
Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father’s
concubines, which he hath left to keep the house; and all
10-16:22 So
they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto
his father’s concubines in the sight of all
10-19:28 For
all of my father’s
house were but dead men before my lord the king: yet didst thou set thy servant
among them that did eat at thine own table. What right therefore have I yet to
cry any more unto the king?
10-24:17 And
David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people, and
said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have
they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father’s house.
11-11:12 Notwithstanding
in thy days I will not do it for David thy father’s
sake: but I will rend it out of the
hand of thy son.
11-11:17 That
Hadad fled, he and certain Edomites of his father’s
servants with him, to go into
11-12:10 And
the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt
thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say
unto them, My little finger shall be
thicker than my father’s loins.
11-18:18 And
he answered, I have not troubled
12-10:3 Look
even out the best and meetest of your master’s sons, and set him on his father’s
throne, and fight for your master’s house.
12-23:30 And
his servants carried him in a chariot dead from
12-24:17 And
the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father’s
brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.

13-7:2 And
the sons of Tola; Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Jibsam, and
Shemuel, heads of their father’s house, to wit, of Tola: they were valiant men of might in their generations; whose number was in the days of David two and twenty
thousand and six hundred.
13-7:40 All
these were the children of Asher,
heads of their father’s house, choice and mighty men of valour, chief of the princes. And the number
throughout the genealogy of them that were apt to the war and to battle was twenty
and six thousand men.
13-12:28 And
Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father’s
house twenty and two captains.
13-21:17 And
David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be
numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done?
let thine hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my father’s house; but not on thy people, that they
should be plagued.
13-23:11 And
Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many
sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to their father’s house.
14-2:13 And
now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father’s,
14-10:10 And
the young men that were brought up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt
thou answer the people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it somewhat lighter for us; thus shalt
thou say unto them, My little finger shall
be thicker than my father’s loins.

thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the
prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the
children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of
Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned.
16-7:61 And
these were they which went up also from Telmelah, Telharesha, Cherub,
Addon, and Immer: but they could not shew their father’s

17-4:14 For
if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from
another place; but thou and thy father’s house
shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
19-45:10 Hearken,
O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people,
and thy father’s house;
20-4:3 For
I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
20-6:20 My
son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake
not the law of thy mother:
20-13:1 A
wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not
rebuke.
20-15:5 A
fool despiseth his father’s instruction: but he that
regardeth reproof is prudent.
20-27:10 Thine
own friend, and thy father’s friend, forsake
not; neither go into thy brother’s house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near
than a brother far off.
23-7:17 The
LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house, days that have not come from the day
that Ephraim departed from
23-22:23 And
I will fasten him as a nail in a sure
place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s
house.
23-22:24 And
they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father’s
house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the
vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.
24-35:14 The
words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink
wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken
unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.
26-18:14 Now,
lo, if he beget a son, that seeth all
his father’s sins which he hath done, and
considereth, and doeth not such like,
26-22:11 And
one hath committed abomination with his neighbour’s wife; and another hath
lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his
sister, his father’s daughter.
40-26:29 But
I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until
that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s
kingdom.
42-2:49 And
he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be
about my Father’s business?
42-9:26 For
whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man
be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy
angels.
42-12:32 Fear
not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good
pleasure to give you the kingdom.
42-15:17 And
when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish
with hunger!
42-16:27 Then
he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that
thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
43-2:16 And
said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.
43-5:43 I
am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me

43-6:39 And
this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that
of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up
again at the last day.
43-10:25 Jesus
answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.
43-10:29 My
Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out
of my Father’s hand.
43-14:2 In
my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
43-14:24 He
that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not

ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward:
it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
05-26:12 When thou hast made an end of tithing
all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may
eat within thy gates, and be filled;
05-26:13 Then thou shalt say before the LORD
thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the
stranger, to the fatherless,
and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded
me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:

widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

dig a pit for your friend.

cried, and the fatherless,

and the fatherless
hath not eaten thereof;
18-31:21 If I have lifted up my hand against
the fatherless,
when I saw my help in the gate:
19-10:14 Thou hast seen it: for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth
himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
19-10:18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man
of the earth may no more oppress.

judge of the widows, is God in his

relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the
widow come unto them.
23-9:17 Therefore the Lord shall have no joy
in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and

hand is stretched out still.
23-10:2 To turn aside the needy from
judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows

the fatherless,

24-7:6 If
ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not
innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

turn aside the stranger from his right, and
fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
