01-GENESIS
01-6:17 And,
behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters
upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in
the earth shall die.
01-9:3 Every
moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even
as the green herb have I given you all things.
01-10:9 He
was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.
01-10:19 And
the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto
Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
01-10:21 Unto
Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder,
even to him were children born.
01-13:3 And
he went on his journeys from the south even to
Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel
and Hai;
01-13:10 And
Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the
LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of
Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.
01-14:23 That
I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any
thing that is thine, lest thou
shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:
01-19:1 And
there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot
sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them
rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
01-19:4 But
before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round,
both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
01-19:9 And
they said, Stand back. And they said again,
This one fellow came in to
sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than
with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the
door.
01-20:5 Said
he not unto me, She is my sister? and
she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my
heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.
01-21:10 Wherefore
she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this
bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.
01-23:7 And
Abraham stood up, and bowed himself to the people of the land, even to
the children of Heth.
01-23:10 And
Ephron dwelt among the children of Heth: and Ephron the Hittite answered
Abraham in the audience of the children of Heth, even of all that went in at the gate
of his city, saying,
01-24:11 And
he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the
time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water.
01-26:28 And
they said, We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee: and we said, Let there
be now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a
covenant with thee;
01-27:34 And
when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding
bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.
01-27:38 And
Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me
also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.
01-34:29 And
all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive,
and spoiled even all that was in the house.
01-35:14 And
Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a
pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil
thereon.
01-37:18 And
when they saw him afar off, even before he came
near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.
01-42:28 And
he said unto his brethren, My money is restored; and, lo, it is even in my sack: and their
heart failed them, and they were
afraid, saying one to another, What is this
that God hath done unto us?
01-44:18 Then
Judah came near unto him, and said, Oh my lord, let thy servant, I pray thee,
speak a word in my lord’s ears, and let not thine anger burn against thy
servant: for thou art even as Pharaoh.
01-46:18 These
are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban
gave to Leah his daughter, and these she bare unto Jacob, even sixteen souls.
01-46:34 That
ye shall say, Thy servants’ trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for
every shepherd is an abomination unto
the Egyptians.
01-47:2 And
he took some of his brethren, even five men, and presented them unto Pharaoh.
01-47:21 And
as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even
to the other end thereof.
01-49:22 Joseph
is a fruitful bough, even a
fruitful bough by a well; whose branches
run over the wall:
01-49:25 Even by
the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall
bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth
under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
02-3:1 Now
Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he
led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to
Horeb.
02-4:16 And
he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he
shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.
02-4:22 And
thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:
02-4:23 And
I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let
him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.
02-9:18 Behold,
to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as
hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even
until now.
02-10:12 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the
locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of
the land, even
all that the hail hath left.
02-10:21 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may
be darkness over the land of Egypt, even
darkness which may be felt.
02-11:5 And
all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh
that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the
firstborn of the maidservant that is behind
the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
02-12:15 Seven
days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the
first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth
leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut
off from Israel.
02-12:18 In
the first month, on the fourteenth
day of the month at even, ye shall eat
unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
02-12:19 Seven
days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that
which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut
off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the
land.
02-12:38 And
a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very
much cattle.
02-12:41 And
it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the
hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.
02-14:23 And
the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all
Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
02-16:6 And
Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the LORD hath brought
you out from the land of Egypt:
02-16:12 I
have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying,
At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning
ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.
02-16:13 And
it came to pass, that at even the quails came
up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.
02-18:14 And
when Moses’ father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the
people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from
morning unto even?
02-23:31 And
I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto
the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will
deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them
out before thee.
02-25:9 According
to all that I shew thee, after the
pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.
02-25:19 And
make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of
the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
02-27:5 And
thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar.
02-28:1 And
take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the
children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron,
Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.
02-28:8 And
the curious girdle of the ephod, which is
upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof; even of gold,
of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and
fine twined linen.
02-28:17 And
thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a
sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this
shall be the first row.
02-28:42 And
thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:
02-29:27 And
thou shalt sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the
heave offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of the
consecration, even
of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons:
02-29:28 And
it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’ by a statute for ever from the children of
Israel: for it is an heave offering:
and it shall be an heave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifice
of their peace offerings, even their heave offering unto the LORD.
02-29:39 The
one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer
at even:
02-29:41 And
the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt
do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the
drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the
LORD.
02-30:8 And
when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall
burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your
generations.
02-30:21 So
they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be
a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their
generations.
02-30:23 Take
thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so
much, even
two hundred and fifty shekels, and
of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,
02-30:33 Whosoever
compoundeth any like it, or whosoever
putteth any of it upon a stranger,
shall even be cut off from his people.
02-30:38 Whosoever
shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even
be cut off from his people.
02-32:29 For
Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother;
that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.
02-35:35 Them
hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the
engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in
purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and
of those that devise cunning work.
02-36:2 And
Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart
the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come
unto the work to do it:
02-37:3 And
he cast for it four rings of gold, to be
set by the four corners of it; even two
rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it.
02-37:9 And
the cherubims spread out their wings
on high, and covered with their wings
over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even to the mercy seatward were the
faces of the cherubims.
02-38:21 This
is the sum of the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of testimony, as it was
counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, son to
Aaron the priest.
02-38:24 All
the gold that was occupied for the work in all the work of the holy place, even
the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and
thirty shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
02-39:37 The
pure candlestick, with the lamps
thereof, even
with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil
for light,
02-39:43 And
Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had
commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses
blessed them.
03-1:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an
offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of
the herd, and of the flock.
03-2:14 And
if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt
offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the
fire, even
corn beaten out of full ears.
03-3:14 And
he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the
fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
03-4:12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without
the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on
the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.
03-4:17 And
the priest shall dip his finger in some of
the blood, and sprinkle it seven
times before the LORD, even before the vail.
03-5:12 Then
shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a
memorial thereof, and burn it on the
altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.
03-6:5 Or
all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even
restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it
appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.
03-6:15 And
he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the
oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is
upon the meat offering, and shall burn it
upon the altar for a sweet
savour, even
the memorial of it, unto the LORD.
03-7:8 And
the priest that offereth any man’s burnt offering, even the priest shall have to
himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.
03-7:20 But
the soul that eateth of the flesh of
the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain
unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even
that soul shall be cut off from his people.
03-7:21 Moreover
the soul that shall touch any unclean thing,
as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean
beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and
eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
03-7:25 For
whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by
fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
03-7:27 Whatsoever
soul it be that eateth any manner of
blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his
people.
03-8:9 And
he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, did he put the
golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.
03-11:11 They
shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall
not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
03-11:22 Even these
of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his
kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
03-11:24 And
for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be
unclean until the even.
03-11:25 And
whosoever beareth ought of the
carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
03-11:27 And
whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean
until the even.
03-11:28 And
he that beareth the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean
until the even: they are unclean unto you.
03-11:31 These
are unclean to you among all that
creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the
even.
03-11:32 And
upon whatsoever any of them, when
they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever
vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into
water, and it shall be unclean until the even;
so it shall be cleansed.
03-11:39 And
if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof
shall be unclean until the even.
03-11:40 And
he that eateth of the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean
until the even: he also that beareth the carcase
of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
03-13:12 And
if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin
of him that hath the plague from his
head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest
looketh;
03-13:18 The
flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,
03-13:30 Then
the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall
pronounce him unclean: it is a dry
scall, even
a leprosy upon the head or beard.
03-13:38 If
a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white
bright spots;
03-14:9 But
it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head
and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his
hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his
flesh in water, and he shall be clean.
03-14:31 Even such
as he is able to get, the one for a
sin offering, and the other for a
burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement
for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.
03-14:46 Moreover
he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean
until the even.
03-15:5 And
whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until
the even.
03-15:6 And
he that sitteth on any thing whereon
he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until
the even.
03-15:7 And
he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes,
and bathe himself in water, and be
unclean until the even.
03-15:8 And
if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his
clothes, and bathe himself in water,
and be unclean until the even.
03-15:10 And
whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until
the even.
03-15:11 And
whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not rinsed his hands in
water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself
in water, and be unclean until the even.
03-15:16 And
if any man’s seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his
flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.
03-15:17 And
every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be
washed with water, and be unclean until the even.
03-15:18 The
woman also with whom man shall lie with seed
of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean
until the even.
03-15:19 And
if a woman have an issue, and her
issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth
her shall be unclean until the even.
03-15:21 And
whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until
the even.
03-15:22 And
whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and
bathe himself in water, and be
unclean until the even.
03-15:23 And
if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it,
he shall be unclean until the even.
03-15:27 And
whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes,
and bathe himself in water, and be
unclean until the even.
03-16:32 And
the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in
the priest’s office in his father’s stead, shall make the atonement, and shall
put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:
03-17:5 To
the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they
offer in the open field, even that they may
bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
unto the priest, and offer them for peace
offerings unto the LORD.
03-17:9 And
bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer
it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off
from among his people.
03-17:10 And
whatsoever man there be of the house
of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner
of blood; I will even set my face against that
soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
03-17:13 And
whatsoever man there be of the
children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth
and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with
dust.
03-17:15 And
every soul that eateth that which died of
itself, or that which was torn with
beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both
wash his clothes, and bathe himself in
water, and be unclean until the even: then shall
he be clean.
03-18:9 The
nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother,
whether she be born at home, or born
abroad, even
their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
03-18:10 The
nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their
nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.
03-18:29 For
whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even
the souls that commit them shall be
cut off from among their people.
03-19:21 And
he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the
tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering.
03-20:6 And
the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards,
to go a whoring after them, I will even set my
face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
03-20:10 And
the man that committeth adultery with another
man’s wife, even
he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and
the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
03-22:6 The
soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his
flesh with water.
03-23:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these
are my feasts.
03-23:4 These
are the feasts of the LORD, even holy
convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
03-23:5 In
the fourteenth day of the first month
at even is
the Lord’s passover.
03-23:16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall
ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.
03-23:18 And
ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year,
and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and
their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour
unto the LORD.
03-23:32 It
shall be unto you a sabbath of rest,
and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall
ye celebrate your sabbath.
03-24:7 And
thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each
row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto
the LORD.
03-26:16 I
also will do this unto you; I will even appoint
over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the
eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your
enemies shall eat it.
03-26:28 Then
I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even
I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
03-26:34 Then
shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies’ land; even then
shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.
03-26:43 The
land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth
desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their
iniquity: because, even because they despised my
judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
03-27:3 And
thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even
thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the
sanctuary.
03-27:5 And
if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall
be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
03-27:6 And
if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be
of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.
03-27:18 But
if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto
him the money according to the years that remain, even
unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.
03-27:23 Then
the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto
the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the LORD.
03-27:24 In
the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to
him to whom the possession of the land did
belong.
03-27:32 And
concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the
rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.
04-1:21 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
04-1:23 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
04-1:25 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.
04-1:27 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.
04-1:29 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four
hundred.
04-1:31 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
04-1:33 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.
04-1:35 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two
hundred.
04-1:37 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four
hundred.
04-1:39 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.
04-1:41 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
04-1:43 Those
that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four
hundred.
04-1:46 Even all they that were numbered were six hundred
thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
04-3:22 Those
that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a
month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.
04-3:38 But
those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the
congregation eastward, shall be Moses,
and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of
the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to
death.
04-3:47 Thou
shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll,
after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty
gerahs:)
04-4:3 From
thirty years old and upward even until fifty
years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of
the congregation.
04-4:14 And
they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about
it, even the
censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of
the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put
to the staves of it.
04-4:30 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years
old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the
work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-4:35 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty
years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the
tabernacle of the congregation:
04-4:39 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty
years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the
tabernacle of the congregation,
04-4:40 Even those that were numbered of them, throughout
their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six
hundred and thirty.
04-4:43 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty
years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the
tabernacle of the congregation,
04-4:44 Even those that were numbered of them after their
families, were three thousand and two hundred.
04-4:47 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty
years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the
service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,
04-4:48 Even those that were numbered of them, were eight
thousand and five hundred and fourscore.
04-5:8 But
if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be
recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the
atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.
04-5:26 And
the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall
cause the woman to drink the water.
04-6:4 All
the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree,
from the kernels even to the husk.
04-7:10 And
the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was
anointed, even the princes offered their
offering before the altar.
04-8:8 Then
let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled with oil,
and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering.
04-8:16 For
they are wholly given unto me from
among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead
of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.
04-9:3 In
the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye
shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and
according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.
04-9:5 And
they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that
the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.
04-9:11 The
fourteenth day of the second month at even they
shall keep it, and eat it with
unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
04-9:13 But
the man that is clean, and is not in
a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even
the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not
the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
04-9:15 And
on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and
at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were
the appearance of fire, until the morning.
04-9:21 And
so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed:
whether it was by day or by night
that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.
04-11:20 But even
a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto
you: because that ye have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth
out of Egypt?
04-12:8 With
him will I speak mouth to mouth, even
apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he
behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
04-14:19 Pardon,
I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy
mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.
04-14:34 After
the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a
year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of
promise.
04-14:37 Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon
the land, died by the plague before the LORD.
04-14:45 Then
the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and
smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.
04-15:23 Even all
that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the
LORD commanded Moses, and
henceforward among your generations;
04-16:5 And
he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even
to morrow the LORD will shew who are his,
and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom
he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
04-17:6 And
Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave
him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, even twelve
rods: and the rod of Aaron was among
their rods.
04-18:21 And,
behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an
inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle
of the congregation.
04-18:26 Thus
speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of
Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then
ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.
04-18:29 Out
of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the
best thereof, even
the hallowed part thereof out of it.
04-19:7 Then
the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and
afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until
the even.
04-19:8 And
he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in
water, and shall be unclean until the even.
04-19:10 And
he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be
unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the
children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a
statute for ever.
04-19:19 And
the clean person shall sprinkle upon
the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he
shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and
shall be clean at even.
04-19:21 And
it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of
separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation
shall be unclean until even.
04-19:22 And
whatsoever the unclean person toucheth
shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.
04-20:1 Then
came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of
Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there,
and was buried there.
04-20:22 And
the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from
Kadesh, and came unto mount Hor.
04-20:29 And
when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they mourned for Aaron
thirty days, even
all the house of Israel.
04-21:24 And
Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon
unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for
the border of the children of Ammon was strong.
04-21:26 For
Heshbon was the city of Sihon the
king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken
all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.
04-21:30 We
have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto
Dibon, and we have laid them waste even unto
Nophah, which reacheth unto Medeba.
04-25:13 And
he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood;
because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of
Israel.
04-25:14 Now
the name of the Israelite that was slain, even that was slain with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of
a chief house among the Simeonites.
04-27:21 And
he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his
word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel
with him, even all the congregation.
04-28:4 The
one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer
at even;
04-28:8 And
the other lamb shalt thou offer at even: as the
meat offering of the morning, and as the drink offering thereof, thou shalt
offer it, a sacrifice made by fire,
of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
04-31:47 Even of the children of Israel’s half, Moses took one
portion of fifty, both of man and of
beast, and gave them unto the Levites, which kept the charge of the tabernacle
of the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
04-31:51 And
Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of them, even all wrought jewels.
04-32:4 Even the
country which the LORD smote before the congregation of Israel, is a land for cattle, and thy servants
have cattle:
04-32:33 And
Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children
of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom
of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land,
with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about.
04-33:49 And
they pitched by Jordan, from Bethjesimoth even unto Abelshittim in the plains of Moab.
04-34:2 Command
the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of
Canaan; (this is the land that shall
fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
04-34:6 And
as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be
your west border.
04-36:10 Even as the LORD commanded Moses, so did the daughters
of Zelophehad:
05-1:44 And
the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased
you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.
05-2:22 As
he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the
Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:
05-2:23 And
the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth
out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)
05-2:36 From
Aroer, which is by the brink of the
river of Arnon, and from the city
that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong
for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:
05-3:16 And
unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I gave from Gilead even unto the river Arnon half the valley, and the
border even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of
Ammon;
05-3:17 The
plain also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof,
from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the
plain, even
the salt sea, under Ashdothpisgah eastward.
05-4:5 Behold,
I have taught you statutes and judgments, even
as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go
to possess it.
05-4:13 And
he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten
commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
05-4:19 And
lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the
moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven
to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all
nations under the whole heaven.
05-4:20 But
the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out
of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.
05-4:24 For
the LORD thy God is a consuming fire,
even a
jealous God.
05-4:30 When
thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in
the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto
his voice;
05-4:48 From
Aroer, which is by the bank of the
river Arnon, even unto mount Sion, which is Hermon,
05-4:49 And
all the plain on this side Jordan eastward, even
unto the sea of the plain, under the springs of Pisgah.
05-5:3 The
LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.
05-5:23 And
it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for
the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all
the heads of your tribes, and your elders;
05-9:9 When
I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the
tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount
forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water:
05-9:11 And
it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that the LORD gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant.
05-9:21 And
I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and
stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust:
and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.
05-10:15 Only
the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed
after them, even
you above all people, as it is this
day.
05-11:12 A
land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning
of the year even unto the end of the year.
05-11:24 Every
place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the
wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
05-12:5 But
unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to
put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and
thither thou shalt come:
05-12:22 Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou
shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.
05-12:30 Take
heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be
destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying,
How did these nations serve their gods? even so
will I do likewise.
05-12:31 Thou
shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which
he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even
their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
05-13:7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or
far off from thee, from the one end
of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
05-16:3 Thou
shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread
therewith, even
the bread of affliction: for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in
haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land
of Egypt all the days of thy life.
05-16:4 And
there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days;
neither shall there any thing of the
flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even,
remain all night until the morning.
05-16:6 But
at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there
thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at
the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.
05-17:5 Then
shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked
thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them
with stones, till they die.
05-17:12 And
the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that
standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the
evil from Israel.
05-18:20 But
the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not
commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
05-20:14 But
the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all
the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil
of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
05-21:3 And
it shall be, that the city which is next unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take an heifer,
which hath not been wrought with, and which
hath not drawn in the yoke;
05-22:26 But
unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there
is in the damsel no sin worthy of
death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this
matter:
05-23:2 A
bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into
the congregation of the LORD.
05-23:3 An
Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter
into the congregation of the LORD for ever:
05-23:16 He
shall dwell with thee, even among you, in that place which he shall
choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress
him.
05-23:18 Thou
shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the
LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
05-23:23 That
which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according
as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy
mouth.
05-25:18 How
he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.
05-26:9 And
he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a
land that floweth with milk and honey.
05-28:59 Then
the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great
plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.
05-28:64 And
the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other
gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
05-28:67 In
the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even!
and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were
morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the
sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
05-29:24 Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD
done thus unto this land? what meaneth the
heat of this great anger?
05-31:21 And
it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that
this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be
forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which
they go about, even now, before I have brought
them into the land which I sware.
05-32:31 For
their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.
05-32:39 See
now that I, even
I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I
make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is
there any that can deliver out of my hand.
05-33:4 Moses
commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.
06-1:2 Moses
my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all
this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
06-1:4 From
the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the
great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the
great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
06-2:1 And
Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go
view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and
came into an harlot’s house, named Rahab, and lodged there.
06-2:24 And
they said unto Joshua, Truly the LORD hath delivered into our hands all the
land; for even all the inhabitants of the
country do faint because of us.
06-3:16 That
the waters which came down from above stood and
rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the
plain, even
the salt sea, failed, and were
cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.
06-5:4 And
this is the cause why Joshua did
circumcise: All the people that came out of Egypt, that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by
the way, after they came out of Egypt.
06-5:10 And
the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the passover on the
fourteenth day of the month at even in the
plains of Jericho.
06-6:17 And
the city shall be accursed, even it, and all
that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all
that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.
06-6:25 And
Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that
she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto
this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
06-7:5 And
the men of Ai smote of them about thirty and six men: for they chased them from
before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote
them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became
as water.
06-7:11 Israel
hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded
them: for they have even taken of the accursed
thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.
06-8:4 And
he commanded them, saying, Behold, ye shall lie in wait against the city, even behind the city: go not very far from the city,
but be ye all ready:
06-8:11 And
all the people, even the people of war that were
with him, went up, and drew nigh, and came before the city, and pitched on the
north side of Ai: now there was a valley between them and Ai.
06-8:13 And
when they had set the people, even all the host
that was on the north of the city, and their liers in wait on the west of the
city, Joshua went that night into the midst of the valley.
06-8:25 And
so it was, that all that fell that day, both of men and women, were twelve
thousand, even all the men of Ai.
06-8:28 And
Joshua burnt Ai, and made it an heap for ever, even
a desolation unto this day.
06-9:20 This
we will do to them; we will even let them live,
lest wrath be upon us, because of the oath which we sware unto them.
06-9:27 And
Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the congregation,
and for the altar of the LORD, even unto this
day, in the place which he should choose.
06-10:41 And
Joshua smote them from Kadeshbarnea even unto
Gaza, and all the country of Goshen, even unto
Gibeon.
06-11:4 And
they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in
multitude, with horses and chariots very many.
06-11:17 Even from the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even unto Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon under mount
Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.
06-12:2 Sihon
king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon
the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half
Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the
border of the children of Ammon;
06-12:3 And
from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the
plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to
Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah:
06-12:7 And
these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel
smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir;
which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their
divisions;
06-13:3 From
Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the
borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanite: five lords of
the Philistines; the Gazathites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the
Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites:
06-13:8 With
whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which
Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as
Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;
06-13:24 And
Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of Gad, even
unto the children of Gad according to their families.
06-13:27 And
in the valley, Betharam, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of
the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the
other side Jordan eastward.
06-13:31 And
half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan,
were pertaining unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir by
their families.
06-14:10 And
now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five
years, even since the LORD spake this word unto
Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I
am this day fourscore and five years old.
06-14:11 As
yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my
strength was then, even so is my strength now,
for war, both to go out, and to come in.
06-15:1 This
then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin
southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.
06-15:5 And
the east border was the salt sea, even unto the
end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the
sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:
06-15:13 And
unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah,
according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even
the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.
06-15:46 From
Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near
Ashdod, with their villages:
06-16:5 And
the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side
was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper;
06-17:11 And
Manasseh had in Issachar and in Asher Bethshean and her towns, and Ibleam and
her towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, and the inhabitants of
Endor and her towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and her towns, and the
inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns, even three
countries.
06-17:17 And
Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to
Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power:
thou shalt not have one lot only:
06-19:1 And
the second lot came forth to Simeon, even for
the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their
inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.
06-19:28 And
Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, even
unto great Zidon;
06-19:32 The
sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, even
for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
06-19:50 According
to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in mount Ephraim: and he built the
city, and dwelt therein.
06-21:20 And
the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the
children of Kohath, even they had the cities of
their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.
06-23:4 Behold,
I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance
for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even unto the great sea westward.
06-23:12 Else
if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make
marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you:
06-24:2 And
Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your
fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of
Nachor: and they served other gods.
06-24:12 And
I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you, even the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy
sword, nor with thy bow.
06-24:18 And
the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even
the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD;
for he is our God.
07-3:1 Now
these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars
of Canaan;
07-3:9 And
when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer
to the children of Israel, who delivered them, even
Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother.
07-4:13 And
Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even
nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from
Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon.
07-5:3 Hear,
O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I,
will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.
07-5:5 The
mountains melted from before the LORD, even that
Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.
07-5:11 They
that are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water,
there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his
villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates.
07-5:15 And
the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; even
Issachar, and also Barak: he was sent on foot into the valley. For the divisions
of Reuben there were great thoughts of heart.
07-6:3 And
so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the
Amalekites, and the children of the east, even
they came up against them;
07-6:25 And
it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father’s
young bullock, even the second bullock of seven
years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down
the grove that is by it:
07-7:22 And
the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man’s sword against
his fellow, even throughout all the host: and
the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah,
unto Tabbath.
07-8:14 And
caught a young man of the men of Succoth, and enquired of him: and he described
unto him the princes of Succoth, and the elders thereof, even threescore and seventeen men.
07-8:19 And
he said, They were my brethren, even the sons of
my mother: as the LORD liveth, if ye had saved them alive, I would not slay
you.
07-8:27 And
Gideon made an ephod thereof, and put it in his city, even
in Ophrah: and all Israel went thither a whoring after it: which thing became a
snare unto Gideon, and to his house.
07-9:40 And
Abimelech chased him, and he fled before him, and many were overthrown and
wounded, even unto the entering of the gate.
07-11:13 And
the king of the children of Ammon answered unto the messengers of Jephthah,
Because Israel took away my land, when they came up out of Egypt, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and unto Jordan: now therefore
restore those lands again peaceably.
07-11:22 And
they possessed all the coasts of the Amorites, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and from the wilderness even unto Jordan.
07-11:33 And
he smote them from Aroer, even till thou come to
Minnith, even twenty cities, and unto the plain
of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. Thus the children of Ammon were
subdued before the children of Israel.
07-11:36 And
she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do
to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the
LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even
of the children of Ammon.
07-18:15 And
they turned thitherward, and came to the house of the young man the Levite, even unto the house of Micah, and saluted him.
07-19:16 And,
behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at even, which was also of mount Ephraim; and he
sojourned in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjamites.
07-20:1 Then
all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was gathered together
as one man, from Dan even to Beersheba, with the
land of Gilead, unto the LORD in Mizpeh.
07-20:2 And
the chief of all the people, even of all the
tribes of Israel, presented themselves in the assembly of the people of God,
four hundred thousand footmen that drew sword.
07-20:23 (And
the children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until even, and asked counsel of the LORD, saying, Shall I
go up again to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the LORD
said, Go up against him.)
07-20:26 Then
all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came unto the
house of God, and wept, and sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day
until even, and offered burnt offerings and
peace offerings before the LORD.
07-20:33 And
all the men of Israel rose up out of their place, and put themselves in array
at Baaltamar: and the liers in wait of Israel came forth out of their places, even out of the meadows of Gibeah.
07-21:2 And
the people came to the house of God, and abode there till even before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept
sore;
08-2:7 And
she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the
sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even
from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.
08-2:15 And
when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her
glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her
not:
08-2:17 So
she gleaned in the field until even, and beat
out that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah of barley.
09-3:20 And
all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that
Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.
09-5:6 But
the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and
smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the
coasts thereof.
09-6:18 And
the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines
belonging to the five lords, both of fenced cities, and of country villages, even unto the great stone of Abel, whereon they set
down the ark of the LORD: which stone remaineth unto this day in the field of
Joshua, the Bethshemite.
09-6:19 And
he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the
LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand
and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had
smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.
09-7:14 And
the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel,
from Ekron even unto Gath; and the coasts
thereof did Israel deliver out of the hands of the Philistines. And there was
peace between Israel and the Amorites.
09-8:8 According
to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out
of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have
forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.
09-8:14 And
he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants.
09-14:21 Moreover
the Hebrews that were with the Philistines before that time, which went up with
them into the camp from the country round about, even
they also turned to be with the Israelites that were with Saul and Jonathan.
09-14:22 Likewise
all the men of Israel which had hid themselves in mount Ephraim, when they
heard that the Philistines fled, even they also
followed hard after them in the battle.
09-17:40 And
he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the
brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag which he had, even
in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.
09-17:52 And
the men of Israel and of Judah arose, and shouted, and pursued the Philistines,
until thou come to the valley, and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of
the Philistines fell down by the way to Shaaraim, even
unto Gath, and unto Ekron.
09-18:4 And
Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David,
and his garments, even to his sword, and to his
bow, and to his girdle.
09-18:11 And
Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even
to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice.
09-19:10 And
Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with
the javelin; but he slipped away out of Saul’s presence, and he smote the
javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night.
09-20:4 Then
said Jonathan unto David, Whatsoever thy soul desireth, I will even do it for thee.
09-20:5 And
David said unto Jonathan, Behold, to morrow is the new moon, and I should not
fail to sit with the king at meat: but let me go, that I may hide myself in the
field unto the third day at even.
09-20:16 So
Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, Let the LORD even require it at the hand of David’s enemies.
09-20:25 And
the king sat upon his seat, as at other times, even
upon a seat by the wall: and Jonathan arose, and Abner sat by Saul’s side, and
David’s place was empty.
09-25:25 Let
not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial, even
Nabal: for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him:
but I thine handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom thou didst send.
09-25:27 And
now this blessing which thine handmaid hath brought unto my lord, let it even be given unto the young men that follow my lord.
09-26:8 Then
said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day:
now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him
the second time.
09-27:3 And
David dwelt with Achish at Gath, he and his men, every man with his household, even David with his two wives, Ahinoam the
Jezreelitess, and Abigail the Carmelitess, Nabal’s wife.
09-27:8 And
David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and
the Amalekites: for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as
thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.
09-28:3 Now
Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that
had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.
09-28:17 And
the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the
kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David:
09-30:17 And
David smote them from the twilight even unto the
evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred
young men, which rode upon camels, and fled.
09-30:26 And
when David came to Ziklag, he sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah, even to his friends, saying, Behold a present for you
of the spoil of the enemies of the LORD;
10-1:2 It
came even to pass on the third day, that,
behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth
upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth,
and did obeisance.
10-1:12 And
they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even,
for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the
house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.
10-2:5 And
David sent messengers unto the men of Jabeshgilead, and said unto them, Blessed
be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.
10-3:9 So
do God to Abner, and more also, except, as the LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him;
10-3:10 To
translate the kingdom from the house of Saul, and to set up the throne of David
over Israel and over Judah, from Dan even to
Beersheba.
10-3:15 And
Ishbosheth sent, and took her from her husband, even
from Phaltiel the son of Laish.
10-6:5 And
David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of
instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and
on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.
10-6:19 And
he dealt among all the people, even among the
whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of
bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people
departed every one to his house.
10-7:6 Whereas
I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of
Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have
walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.
10-7:23 And
what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even
like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a
name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy
people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their
gods?
10-8:2 And
he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground; even with two lines measured he to put to death, and
with one full line to keep alive. And so the Moabites became David’s servants,
and brought gifts.
10-10:4 Wherefore
Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved off the one half of their beards, and
cut off their garments in the middle, even to
their buttocks, and sent them away.
10-11:13 And
when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him
drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed
with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.
10-11:23 And
the messenger said unto David, Surely the men prevailed against us, and came
out unto us into the field, and we were upon them even
unto the entering of the gate.
10-14:25 But
in all Israel there was none to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty:
from the sole of his foot even to the crown of
his head there was no blemish in him.
10-15:12 And
Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David’s counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the
conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.
10-15:21 And
Ittai answered the king, and said, As the LORD liveth, and as my lord the king
liveth, surely in what place my lord the king shall be, whether in death or
life, even there also will thy servant be.
10-17:11 Therefore
I counsel that all Israel be generally gathered unto thee, from Dan even to Beersheba, as the sand that is by the sea for
multitude; and that thou go to battle in thine own person.
10-18:5 And
the king commanded Joab and Abishai and Ittai, saying, Deal gently for my sake
with the young man, even with Absalom. And all
the people heard when the king gave all the captains charge concerning Absalom.
10-19:11 And
king David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, saying, Speak unto the
elders of Judah, saying, Why are ye the last to bring the king back to his
house? seeing the speech of all Israel is come to the king, even to his house.
10-19:14 And
he bowed the heart of all the men of Judah, even
as the heart of one man; so that they sent this word unto the king, Return
thou, and all thy servants.
10-19:32 Now
Barzillai was a very aged man, even fourscore
years old: and he had provided the king of sustenance while he lay at Mahanaim;
for he was a very great man.
10-20:2 So
every man of Israel went up from after David, and followed Sheba the son of
Bichri: but the men of Judah clave unto their king, from Jordan even to Jerusalem.
10-20:21 The
matter is not so: but a man of mount Ephraim, Sheba the son of Bichri by name,
hath lifted up his hand against the king, even
against David: deliver him only, and I will depart from the city. And the woman
said unto Joab, Behold, his head shall be thrown to thee over the wall.
10-22:42 They
looked, but there was none to save; even unto
the LORD, but he answered them not.
10-23:4 And
he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass
springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain.
10-24:2 For
the king said to Joab the captain of the host, which was with him, Go now
through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan even
to Beersheba, and number ye the people, that I may know the number of the
people.
10-24:7 And
came to the strong hold of Tyre, and to all the cities of the Hivites, and of
the Canaanites: and they went out to the south of Judah, even to Beersheba.
10-24:15 So
the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men.
11-1:26 But
me, even me thy servant, and Zadok the priest,
and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and thy servant Solomon, hath he not called.
11-1:30 Even as I sware unto thee by the LORD God of Israel,
saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon
my throne in my stead; even so will I certainly
do this day.
11-1:37 As
the LORD hath been with my lord the king, even
so be he with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord
king David.
11-1:48 And
also thus said the king, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which hath given
one to sit on my throne this day, mine eyes even
seeing it.
11-2:22 And
king Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag
the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is mine elder
brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the
priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
11-4:12 Baana
the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Bethshean,
which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:
11-4:24 For
he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the
river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.
11-4:25 And
Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree,
from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of
Solomon.
11-4:29 And
God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of
heart, even as the sand that is on the sea
shore.
11-4:33 And
he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall:
he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
11-6:16 And
he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls
with boards of cedar: he even built them for it
within, even for the oracle, even for the most holy place.
11-7:7 Then
he made a porch for the throne where he might judge, even
the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from one side of the floor
to the other.
11-7:9 All
these were of costly stones, according to the measures of hewed stones, sawed
with saws, within and without, even from the
foundation unto the coping, and so on the outside toward the great court.
11-7:10 And
the foundation was of costly stones, even great
stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.
11-7:42 And
four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, even
two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters
that were upon the pillars;
11-7:51 So
was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And
Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he
put among the treasures of the house of the LORD.
11-8:4 And
they brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation,
and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even
those did the priests and the Levites bring up.
11-8:6 And
the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into
the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even
under the wings of the cherubims.
11-8:29 That
thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be
there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make
toward this place.
11-8:39 Then
hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every
man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children
of men;)
11-8:65 And
at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great
congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before
the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even
fourteen days.
11-11:26 And
Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda, Solomon’s servant, whose
mother’s name was Zeruah, a widow woman, even he
lifted up his hand against the king.
11-11:35 But
I will take the kingdom out of his son’s hand, and will give it unto thee, even ten tribes.
11-12:27 If
this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then
shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill
me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah.
11-12:30 And
this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.
11-12:33 So
he offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel the fifteenth day of the
eighth month, even in the month which he had
devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and
he offered upon the altar, and burnt incense.
11-13:34 And
this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even
to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.
11-14:14 Moreover
the LORD shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of
Jeroboam that day: but what? even now.
11-14:26 And
he took away the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the
king’s house; he even took away all: and he took
away all the shields of gold which Solomon had made.
11-15:13 And
also Maachah his mother, even her he removed
from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed
her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.
11-15:28 Even in the third year of Asa king of Judah did Baasha
slay him, and reigned in his stead.
11-16:7 And
also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the
LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even
for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to
anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and
because he killed him.
11-18:22 Then
said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only,
remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty
men.
11-18:26 And
they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on
the name of Baal from morning even until noon,
saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And
they leaped upon the altar which was made.
11-19:10 And
he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children
of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy
prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am
left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
11-19:14 And
he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the
children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and
slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I
only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
11-20:3 Thy
silver and thy gold is mine; thy wives also and thy children, even the goodliest, are mine.
11-20:14 And
Ahab said, By whom? And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Even
by the young men of the princes of the provinces. Then he said, Who shall order
the battle? And he answered, Thou.
11-20:15 Then
he numbered the young men of the princes of the provinces, and they were two
hundred and thirty two: and after them he numbered all the people, even all the children of Israel, being seven thousand.
11-21:11 And
the men of his city, even the elders and the
nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them,
and as it was written in the letters which she had sent unto them.
11-21:13 And
there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of
Belial witnessed against him, even against
Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the
king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones,
that he died.
11-21:19 And
thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and
also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the
LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy
blood, even thine.
11-22:35 And
the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot
against the Syrians, and died at even: and the
blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.
12-3:24 And
when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and smote the
Moabites, so that they fled before them: but they went forward smiting the
Moabites, even in their country.
12-3:26 And
when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with
him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they could not.
12-4:3 Then
he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.
12-5:22 And
he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two
young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of
silver, and two changes of garments.
12-7:6 For
the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise
of horses, even the noise of a great host: and
they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the
kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.
12-7:7 Wherefore
they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses,
and their asses, even the camp as it was, and
fled for their life.
12-7:13 And
one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the
horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the
multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are
consumed:) and let us send and see.
12-8:6 And
when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a
certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the
field since the day that she left the land, even
until now.
12-8:9 So
Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even
of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels’ burden, and came and stood
before him, and said, Thy son Benhadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee,
saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
12-9:4 So
the young man, even the young man the prophet,
went to Ramothgilead.
12-9:6 And
he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said
unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the
people of the LORD, even over Israel.
12-9:20 And
the watchman told, saying, He came even unto
them, and cometh not again: and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son
of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously.
12-10:3 Look
even out the best and meetest of your master’s
sons, and set him on his father’s throne, and fight for your master’s house.
12-10:14 And
he said, Take them alive. And they took them alive, and slew them at the pit of
the shearing house, even two and forty men;
neither left he any of them.
12-10:33 From
Jordan eastward, all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, and the Reubenites, and
the Manassites, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, even Gilead and Bashan.
12-11:2 But
Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of
Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons which were slain; and they
hid him, even him and his nurse, in the
bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.
12-11:5 And
he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of
you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be
keepers of the watch of the king’s house;
12-11:7 And
two parts of all you that go forth on the sabbath, even
they shall keep the watch of the house of the LORD about the king.
12-12:4 And
Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is
brought into the house of the LORD, even the
money of every one that passeth the account, the money that every man is set
at, and all the money that cometh into any man’s heart to bring into the house
of the LORD,
12-14:10 Thou
hast indeed smitten Edom, and thine heart hath lifted thee up: glory of this,
and tarry at home: for why shouldest thou meddle to thy hurt, that thou
shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?
12-14:29 And
Jeroboam slept with his fathers, even with the
kings of Israel; and Zachariah his son reigned in his stead.
12-15:20 And
Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all
the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king
of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the
land.
12-17:16 And
they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten
images, even two calves, and made a grove, and
worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.
12-18:8 He
smote the Philistines, even unto Gaza, and the
borders thereof, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.
12-18:10 And
at the end of three years they took it: even in
the sixth year of Hezekiah, that is the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel,
Samaria was taken.
12-18:21 Now,
behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will go
into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust
on him.
12-19:15 And
Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest
between the cherubims, thou art the God, even
thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.
12-19:19 Now
therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that
all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only.
12-19:22 Whom
hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy
voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even
against the Holy One of Israel.
12-20:14 Then
came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these
men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from
a far country, even from Babylon.
12-21:15 Because
they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger,
since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even
unto this day.
12-22:16 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the
inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the
book which the king of Judah hath read:
12-24:14 And
he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of
valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the
craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the
land.
12-24:16 And
all the men of might, even seven thousand, and
craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to
Babylon.
12-25:22 And
as for the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king
of Babylon had left, even over them he made
Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, ruler.
12-25:23 And
when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of
Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, there came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son
of Careah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the
son of a Maachathite, they and their men.
13-2:23 And
he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and
the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All
these belonged to the sons of Machir, the father of Gilead.
13-4:15 And
the sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh; Iru, Elah, and Naam: and the sons of
Elah, even Kenaz.
13-4:39 And
they went to the entrance of Gedor, even unto
the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.
13-4:42 And
some of them, even of the sons of Simeon, five
hundred men, went to mount Seir, having for their captains Pelatiah, and
Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi.
13-5:8 And
Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who dwelt in Aroer, even unto Nebo and Baalmeon:
13-5:24 And
these were the heads of the house of their fathers, even
Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and
Jahdiel, mighty men of valour, famous men, and heads of the house of their
fathers.
13-5:26 And
the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit
of Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half
tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the
river Gozan, unto this day.
13-6:39 And
his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, even
Asaph the son of Berachiah, the son of Shimea,
13-10:13 So
Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not,
and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of
it;
13-11:2 And
moreover in time past, even when Saul was king,
thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD thy God
said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over
my people Israel.
13-11:8 And
he built the city round about, even from Millo
round about: and Joab repaired the rest of the city.
13-12:2 They
were armed with bows, and could use both the right hand and the left in hurling
stones and shooting arrows out of a bow, even of
Saul’s brethren of Benjamin.
13-12:40 Moreover
they that were nigh them, even unto Issachar and
Zebulun and Naphtali, brought bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and
on oxen, and meat, meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine, and
oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly: for there was joy in Israel.
13-13:5 So
David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of
God from Kirjathjearim.
13-14:16 David
therefore did as God commanded him: and they smote the host of the Philistines
from Gibeon even to Gazer.
13-16:16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and
of his oath unto Isaac;
13-16:19 When
ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in
it.
13-17:7 Now
therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of
hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, even from
following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel:
13-17:24 Let
it even be established, that thy name may be
magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and let the house of David thy
servant be established before thee.
13-20:3 And
he brought out the people that were in it, and cut them with saws, and with
harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David
with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people
returned to Jerusalem.
13-21:2 And
David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from
Beersheba even to Dan; and bring the number of
them to me, that I may know it.
13-21:12 Either
three years’ famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while
that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword
of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land,
and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now
therefore advise thyself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
13-21:17 And
David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed;
but as for these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, O
LORD my God, be on me, and on my father’s house; but not on thy people, that
they should be plagued.
13-23:24 These
were the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; even the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of
names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the
LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward.
13-23:30 And
to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even;
13-24:31 These
likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron in the
presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the
fathers of the priests and Levites, even the
principal fathers over against their younger brethren.
13-25:7 So
the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of
the LORD, even all that were cunning, was two
hundred fourscore and eight.
13-26:12 Among
these were the divisions of the porters, even
among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house
of the LORD.
13-26:21 As
concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief
fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite, were
Jehieli.
13-26:31 Among
the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even among
the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth
year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among
them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
13-28:15 Even the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for
their lamps of gold, by weight for every candlestick, and for the lamps
thereof: and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the
candlestick, and also for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every
candlestick.
13-28:19 All
this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.
13-28:20 And
David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear
not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my
God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou
hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
13-28:21 And,
behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even
they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there
shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful man, for
any manner of service: also the princes and all the people will be wholly at
thy commandment.
13-29:4 Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of
Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of
the houses withal:
13-29:21 And
they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the
LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a
thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink
offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:
14-2:3 And
Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David
my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, even so deal with me.
14-2:9 Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house
which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.
14-5:7 And
the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to
the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even
under the wings of the cherubims:
14-5:13 It
came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers
were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD;
and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and
instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his
mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;
14-6:21 Hearken
therefore unto the supplications of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, which
they shall make toward this place: hear thou from thy dwelling place, even from heaven; and when thou hearest, forgive.
14-6:33 Then
hear thou from the heavens, even from thy
dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for;
that all people of the earth may know thy name, and fear thee, as doth thy
people Israel, and may know that this house which I have built is called by thy
name.
14-6:39 Then
hear thou from the heavens, even from thy dwelling
place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and
forgive thy people which have sinned against thee.
14-8:10 And
these were the chief of king Solomon’s officers, even
two hundred and fifty, that bare rule over the people.
14-8:13 Even after a certain rate every day, offering
according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons,
and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even
in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast
of tabernacles.
14-9:26 And
he reigned over all the kings from the river even
unto the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.
14-11:6 He
built even Bethlehem, and Etam, and Tekoa,
14-13:3 And
Abijah set the battle in array with an army of valiant men of war, even four hundred thousand chosen men: Jeroboam also
set the battle in array against him with eight hundred thousand chosen men,
being mighty men of valour.
14-13:5 Ought
ye not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to
David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a
covenant of salt?
14-17:7 Also
in the third year of his reign he sent to his princes, even
to Benhail, and to Obadiah, and to Zechariah, and to Nethaneel, and to
Michaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah.
14-17:8 And
with them he sent Levites, even Shemaiah, and
Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and
Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tobadonijah, Levites; and with them Elishama and
Jehoram, priests.
14-18:13 And
Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, even what my
God saith, that will I speak.
14-18:21 And
he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.
And the LORD said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out,
and do even so.
14-18:34 And
the battle increased that day: howbeit the king of Israel stayed himself up in
his chariot against the Syrians until the even:
and about the time of the sun going down he died.
14-19:10 And
what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their
cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and
judgments, ye shall even warn them that they
trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath
come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.
14-20:4 And
Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help
of the LORD: even out of all the cities of
Judah they came to seek the LORD.
14-24:14 And
when they had finished it, they
brought the rest of the money before the king and Jehoiada, whereof were made
vessels for the house of the LORD, even vessels to minister, and to offer withal, and spoons, and vessels of gold
and silver. And they offered burnt offerings in the house of the LORD
continually all the days of Jehoiada.
14-25:13 But
the soldiers of the army which Amaziah sent back, that they should not go with
him to battle, fell upon the cities of Judah, from Samaria even unto Bethhoron, and smote three thousand of them,
and took much spoil.
14-25:19 Thou
sayest, Lo, thou hast smitten the Edomites; and thine heart lifteth thee up to
boast: abide now at home; why shouldest thou meddle to thine hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?
14-26:8 And
the Ammonites gave gifts to Uzziah: and his name spread abroad even to
the entering in of Egypt; for he strengthened himself exceedingly.
14-26:19 Then
Uzziah was wroth, and had a censer in
his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the
house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar.
14-28:10 And
now ye purpose to keep under the children of Judah and Jerusalem for bondmen
and bondwomen unto you: but are there not
with you, even with you, sins against the LORD
your God?
14-28:27 And
Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, even in
Jerusalem: but they brought him not into the sepulchres of the kings of Israel:
and Hezekiah his son reigned in his stead.
14-30:5 So
they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from
Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to
keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not
done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.
14-30:10 So
the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and
mocked them.
14-30:18 For
a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and
Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise
than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon
every one
14-30:27 Then
the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard,
and their prayer came up to his holy
dwelling place, even
unto heaven.
14-31:16 Beside
their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even unto every one that entereth
into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their service in their charges
according to their courses;
14-33:14 Now
after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of
Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at
the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height,
and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.
14-34:6 And
so did he in the cities of Manasseh,
and Ephraim, and Simeon, even unto Naphtali,
with their mattocks round about.
14-34:11 Even to the artificers and builders gave they it, to buy hewn stone, and timber for
couplings, and to floor the houses which the kings of Judah had destroyed.
14-34:24 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the
inhabitants thereof, even all the curses that are written in the book
which they have read before the king of Judah:
14-34:27 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou
heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and
humbledst thyself before me, and didst rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I
have even heard thee also, saith the LORD.
14-34:33 And
Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries that pertained to the children of Israel, and
made all that were present in Israel to serve, even to serve the LORD their God. And all his days they departed not from
following the LORD, the God of their fathers.
15-1:8 Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the
hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the
prince of Judah.
15-3:3 And
they set the altar upon his bases; for fear was
upon them because of the people of those countries: and they offered burnt
offerings thereon unto the LORD, even burnt offerings morning and evening.
15-4:5 And
hired counsellors against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of
Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of
Darius king of Persia.
15-4:11 This
is the copy of the letter that they
sent unto him, even
unto Artaxerxes the king; Thy servants the men on this side the river, and
at such a time.
15-5:1 Then
the prophets, Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied
unto the Jews that were in Judah and
Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, even unto them.
15-5:16 Then
came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid
the foundation of the house of God which is
in Jerusalem: and since that time even until
now hath it been in building, and yet it
is not finished.
15-6:8 Moreover
I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building
of this house of God: that of the king’s goods, even of the tribute beyond the
river, forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered.
15-7:11 Now
this is the copy of the letter that
the king Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, even a scribe of the words of the
commandments of the LORD, and of his statutes to Israel.
15-7:21 And
I, even I
Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers which are beyond the river, that whatsoever
Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of
you, it be done speedily,
15-8:25 And
weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the
offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his
lords, and all Israel there present,
had offered:
15-8:26 I
even weighed unto their hand six hundred and
fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;
15-9:1 Now
when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of
Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from
the people of the lands, doing according
to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the
Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the
Amorites.
16-2:13 And
I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even
before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of
Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with
fire.
16-3:1 Then
Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they
builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto
the tower of Hananeel.
16-3:10 And
next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even
over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah.
16-3:21 After
him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the
door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of
the house of Eliashib.
16-3:24 After
him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah
unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.
16-3:27 After
them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that
lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel.
16-4:3 Now
Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and
he said, Even that which they build, if a fox go
up, he shall even break down their stone wall.
16-4:13 Therefore
set I in the lower places behind the wall, and
on the higher places, I even set the people
after their families with their swords, their spears, and their bows.
16-5:8 And
I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews,
which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even
sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace,
and found nothing to answer.
16-5:11 Restore,
I pray you, to them, even this day, their lands,
their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the money, and of the corn, the
wine, and the oil, that ye exact of them.
16-5:13 Also
I shook my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from
his labour, that performeth not this promise, even
thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the congregation said, Amen, and praised
the LORD. And the people did according to this promise.
16-5:14 Moreover
from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah,
from the twentieth year even unto the two and
thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that
is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the
governor.
16-5:15 But
the former governors that had been before
me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine,
beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their
servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of
God.
16-8:13 And
on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the
people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words of the law.
16-9:6 Thou,
even thou,
art LORD alone; thou hast made
heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven
worshippeth thee.
16-12:23 The
sons of Levi, the chief of the fathers, were
written in the book of the chronicles, even
until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.
16-12:37 And
at the fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs
of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.
16-12:38 And
the other company of them that gave thanks
went over against them, and I after
them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the
furnaces even unto the broad wall;
16-12:39 And
from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish
gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.
16-12:43 Also
that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them
rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the
joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
16-13:26 Did
not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was
there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over
all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish
women cause to sin.
17-1:1 Now
it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus, (this is Ahasuerus which reigned, from India even
unto Ethiopia, over an hundred and
seven and twenty provinces:)
17-1:4 When
he shewed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honour of his excellent
majesty many days, even and hundred and fourscore days.
17-2:18 Then
the king made a great feast unto all his princes and his servants, even Esther’s
feast; and he made a release to the provinces, and gave gifts, according to the
state of the king.
17-3:6 And
he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had shewed him the
people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of
Ahasuerus, even
the people of Mordecai.
17-3:13 And
the letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to
kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and
women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.
17-4:2 And
came even before the king’s gate: for none might enter into the king’s gate clothed
with sackcloth.
17-5:3 Then
said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.
17-5:6 And
the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even
to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.
17-6:10 Then
the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take
the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even
so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king’s gate: let nothing fail of
all that thou hast spoken.
17-7:2 And
the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it
shall be granted thee: and what is thy
request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.
18-4:8 Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow
wickedness, reap the same.
18-4:21 Doth
not their excellency which is in them
go away? they die, even without wisdom.
18-5:5 Whose
harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even
out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance.
18-6:9 Even that it would please God to destroy me; that he
would let loose his hand, and cut me off!
18-10:21 Before
I go whence I shall not return, even to
the land of darkness and the shadow of death;
18-15:26 He
runneth upon him, even on his neck,
upon the thick bosses of his bucklers:
18-17:5 He
that speaketh flattery to his friends,
even the eyes of his children shall fail.
18-17:11 My
days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart.
18-18:13 It
shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his
strength.
18-21:6 Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh
hold on my flesh.
18-23:2 Even to day is my
complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.
18-23:3 Oh
that I knew where I might find him! that I
might come even
to his seat!
18-23:13 But
he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what
his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
18-24:17 For
the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the
terrors of the shadow of death.
18-25:5 Behold
even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the
stars are not pure in his sight.
18-28:4 The
flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are
dried up, they are gone away from men.
18-31:6 Let
me be weighed in an even balance that God may
know mine integrity.
18-34:17 Shall
even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou
condemn him that is most just?
18-36:16 Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which
should be set on thy table should be full
of fatness.
18-41:9 Behold,
the hope of him is in vain: shall not one
be cast down even at the sight of him?
18-42:16 After
this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’
sons, even
four generations.
19-18:6 In
my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice
out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
19-18:41 They
cried, but there was none to save them: even unto
the LORD, but he answered them not.
19-21:4 He
asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and
ever.
19-24:9 Lift
up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the
King of glory shall come in.
19-26:12 My
foot standeth in an even place: in the
congregations will I bless the LORD.
19-27:2 When
the wicked, even
mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled
and fell.
19-35:23 Stir
up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
19-39:title To
the chief Musician, even to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David.
19-39:2 I
was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.
19-40:3 And
he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the
LORD.
19-45:12 And
the daughter of Tyre shall be there with
a gift; even
the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.
19-47:9 The
princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of
Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong
unto God: he is greatly exalted.
19-48:14 For
this God is our God for ever and
ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
19-50:1 The
mighty God, even
the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto
the going down thereof.
19-50:7 Hear,
O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.
19-55:19 God
shall hear, and afflict them, even he that
abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not
God.
19-57:4 My
soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on
fire, even
the sons of men, whose teeth are spears
and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
19-59:12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and
lying which they speak.
19-64:3 Who
whet their tongue like a sword, and bend
their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter
words:
19-65:4 Blessed
is the man whom thou choosest, and
causest to approach unto thee, that he
may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of
thy holy temple.
19-67:6 Then shall the earth yield her increase;
and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
19-68:8 The
earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai
itself was moved at the presence of
God, the God of Israel.
19-68:17 The
chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands
of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.
19-68:19 Blessed
be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with
benefits, even the God of our salvation.
Selah.
19-68:24 They
have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the
sanctuary.
19-68:26 Bless
ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.
19-71:16 I
will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy
righteousness, even
of thine only.
19-71:22 I
will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing
with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
19-73:1 Truly
God is good to Israel, even to
such as are of a clean heart.
19-74:3 Lift
up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that
the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.
19-74:11 Why
withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand?
pluck it out of thy bosom.
19-76:7 Thou,
even thou,
art to be feared: and who may stand
in thy sight when once thou art angry?
19-77:1 I
cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto
me.
19-78:6 That
the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should
arise and declare them to their
children:
19-78:54 And
he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.
19-84:2 My
soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts
of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
19-84:3 Yea,
the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she
may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and
my God.
19-90:2 Before
the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the
world, even from everlasting to everlasting,
thou art God.
19-90:11 Who
knoweth the power of thine anger? even according
to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
19-91:9 Because
thou hast made the LORD, which is my
refuge, even
the most High, thy habitation;
19-105:17 He
sent a man before them, even Joseph, who
was sold for a servant:
19-105:20 The
king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
19-106:7 Our
fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude
of thy mercies; but provoked him at
the sea, even
at the Red sea.
19-106:38 And
shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters,
whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with
blood.
19-107:43 Whoso
is wise, and will observe these things, even
they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
19-108:1 O
God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even
with my glory.
19-109:16 Because
that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man,
that he might even slay the broken in heart.
19-113:8 That
he may set him with princes, even with
the princes of his people.
19-115:16 The
heaven, even
the heavens, are the Lord’s: but
the earth hath he given to the children of men.
19-118:27 God
is the LORD, which hath shewed us
light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
19-119:41 VAU.
Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
19-119:112 I
have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.
19-121:8 The
LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
19-125:2 As
the mountains are round about
Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about
his people from henceforth even for ever.
19-131:2 Surely
I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my
soul is even
as a weaned child.
19-133:2 It is like the precious ointment upon
the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts
of his garments;
19-133:3 As
the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that
descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the
blessing, even
life for evermore.
19-136:22 Even an
heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever.
19-137:7 Remember,
O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.
19-139:10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand
shall hold me.
19-139:11 If
I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even
the night shall be light about me.
19-146:10 The
LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise
ye the LORD.
19-148:14 He
also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of
the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.
20-2:16 To
deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
20-3:12 For
whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a
father the son in whom he delighteth.
20-8:16 By
me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.
20-14:13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end
of that mirth is heaviness.
20-14:20 The
poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the
rich hath many friends.
20-16:4 The
LORD hath made all things for himself:
yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
20-16:7 When
a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his
enemies to be at peace with him.
20-17:15 He
that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are
abomination to the LORD.
20-17:28 Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted
wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
20-20:11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.
20-20:12 The
hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even
both of them.
20-22:19 That
thy trust may be in the LORD, I have made known to thee this day, even to thee.
20-23:15 My
son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even
mine.
20-28:9 He
that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even
his prayer shall be abomination.
20-30:1 The
words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spake unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal,
21-2:12 And
I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been already done.
21-2:15 Then
said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the fool, so it happeneth even to me; and why was I then more wise? Then I said
in my heart, that this also is vanity.
21-3:19 For
that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even
one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have
all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
21-4:16 There is no end of all the people, even of
all that have been before them: they also that come after shall not rejoice in
him. Surely this also is vanity and
vexation of spirit.
21-7:25 I
applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the
reason of things, and to know the
wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness:
21-9:1 For
all this I considered in my heart even to
declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knoweth
either love or hatred by all that is before them.
21-11:5 As
thou knowest not what is the way of
the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with
child: even so thou knowest not the works of God
who maketh all.
21-12:10 The
preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright,
even words
of truth.
22-4:2 Thy
teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even
shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and
none is barren among them.
23-1:6 From
the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores:
they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
23-1:13 Bring
no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and
sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn
meeting.
23-4:3 And
it shall come to pass, that he that is left
in Zion, and he that remaineth in
Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in
Jerusalem:
23-5:9 In
mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of
a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.
23-7:6 Let
us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us,
and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:
23-7:17 The
LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house,
days that have not come from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the
king of Assyria.
23-7:23 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that every
place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it
shall even
be for briers and thorns.
23-8:7 Now
therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river,
strong and many, even
the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his
channels, and go over all his banks:
23-8:8 And
he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to
the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy
land, O Immanuel.
23-9:7 Of
the increase of his government and
peace there shall be no end, upon the
throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with
judgment and with justice from henceforth even
for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
23-9:9 And
all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that
say in the pride and stoutness of heart,
23-10:21 The
remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
23-10:23 For
the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even
determined, in the midst of all the land.
23-13:3 I
have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine
anger, even
them that rejoice in my highness.
23-13:5 They
come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of
his indignation, to destroy the whole land.
23-13:12 I
will make a man more precious than fine gold; even
a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
23-14:9 Hell
from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee
at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the
earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
23-14:18 All
the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his
own house.
23-15:4 And
Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even unto Jahaz: therefore the armed
soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous unto him.
23-16:6 We
have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very
proud: even
of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.
23-16:8 For
the fields of Heshbon languish, and the
vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants
thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are
stretched out, they are gone over the sea.
23-18:2 That
sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels
of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go,
ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible
from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land
the rivers have spoiled!
23-19:13 The
princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have
also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.
23-19:22 And
the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of
them, and shall heal them.
23-19:24 In
that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a
blessing in the midst of the land:
23-20:4 So
shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians
captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even
with their buttocks uncovered, to the
shame of Egypt.
23-22:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto
Shebna, which is over the house, and say,
23-22:24 And
they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and
the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.
23-23:4 Be
thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, even the strength of the sea,
saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young
men, nor bring up virgins.
23-24:15 Wherefore
glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the
isles of the sea.
23-24:16 From
the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I
said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt
treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.
23-25:5 Thou
shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the
heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be
brought low.
23-25:10 For
in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden
down under him, even as straw is trodden down
for the dunghill.
23-25:12 And
the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to
the dust.
23-26:5 For
he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he
layeth it low, even
to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
23-26:6 The
foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
23-27:1 In
that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish
leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan
that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
23-28:22 Now
therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard
from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even
determined upon the whole earth.
23-29:7 And
the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and
that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.
23-29:8 It
shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth;
but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and,
behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of
all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.
23-29:14 Therefore,
behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a
marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
23-32:7 The
instruments also of the churl are evil:
he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
23-35:2 It
shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with
joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of
Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
23-35:4 Say
to them that are of a fearful heart,
Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with
a recompence; he will come and save you.
23-37:16 O
LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between
the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou
alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
23-37:20 Now
therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the
earth may know that thou art the
LORD, even
thou only.
23-37:23 Whom
hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on
high? even
against the Holy One of Israel.
23-38:11 I
said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall
behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
23-38:12 Mine
age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd’s tent: I have cut off
like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to
night wilt thou make an end of me.
23-38:13 I
reckoned till morning, that, as a
lion, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end
of me.
23-39:3 Then
came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these
men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from
a far country unto me, even from Babylon.
23-40:30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the
young men shall utterly fall:
23-41:3 He
pursued them, and passed safely; even by
the way that he had not gone with his
feet.
23-41:12 Thou
shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war
against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
23-41:28 For
I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a
word.
23-43:7 Even every
one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have
formed him; yea, I have made him.
23-43:11 I,
even I,
am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
23-43:19 Behold,
I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
23-43:25 I,
even I,
am he that blotteth out thy
transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
23-44:8 Fear
ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have
declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a
God beside me? yea, there is no God;
I know not any.
23-44:17 And
the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it,
and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto
it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my
god.
23-44:28 That
saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd,
and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying
to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be
laid.
23-45:4 For
Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even
called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
23-45:12 I
have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out
the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
23-45:24 Surely,
shall one say, in the LORD have I
righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
23-46:4 And
even to
your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
23-47:15 Thus
shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth:
they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee.
23-48:5 I
have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I
shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest
say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath
commanded them.
23-48:6 Thou
hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.
23-48:7 They
are created now, and not from the beginning; even
before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I
knew them.
23-48:11 For
mine own sake, even
for mine own sake, will I do it: for
how should my name be polluted? and I
will not give my glory unto another.
23-48:15 I,
even I,
have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his
way prosperous.
23-48:20 Go
ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing
declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD
hath redeemed his servant Jacob.
23-49:10 They
shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he
that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by
the springs of water shall he guide them.
23-49:19 For
thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants,
and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.
23-49:25 But
thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the
mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered:
for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy
children.
23-51:12 I,
even I,
am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid
of a man that shall die, and of the
son of man which shall be made as grass;
23-51:22 Thus
saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that
pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand
the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt
no more drink it again:
23-55:3 Incline
your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an
everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
23-56:5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my
walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them
an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
23-56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make
them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for
mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
23-57:6 Among
the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even
to them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering.
Should I receive comfort in these?
23-57:7 Upon
a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even
thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.
23-57:9 And
thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and
didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase thyself even unto hell.
23-57:11 And
of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not
remembered me, nor laid it to thy
heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and
thou fearest me not?
23-65:6 Behold,
it is written before me: I will not
keep silence, but will recompense, even
recompense into their bosom,
23-66:2 For
all those things hath mine hand made,
and all those things have been, saith
the LORD: but to this man will I
look, even
to him that is poor and of a
contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
24-3:25 We
lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against
the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even
unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.
24-4:12 Even a
full wind from those places shall
come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.
24-6:11 Therefore
I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it
out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the
aged with him that is full of days.
24-6:13 For
from the least of them even unto the greatest of
them every one is given to
covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the
priest every one dealeth falsely.
24-6:19 Hear,
O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts,
because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.
24-7:11 Is
this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes?
Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.
24-7:15 And
I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the
whole seed of Ephraim.
24-7:25 Since
the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I
have even sent unto you all my servants the
prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:
24-8:10 Therefore
will I give their wives unto others, and their
fields to them that shall inherit them: for
every one from the least even unto the greatest
is given to covetousness, from the prophet even
unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
24-9:15 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this
people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.
24-9:22 Speak,
Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men
shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the
harvestman, and none shall gather them.
24-10:11 Thus
shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they
shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
24-11:7 For
I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto
this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
24-11:13 For
according to the number of thy cities
were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the
number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars
to burn incense unto Baal.
24-11:23 And
there shall be no remnant of them: for I will bring evil upon the men of
Anathoth, even
the year of their visitation.
24-12:6 For
even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea,
they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak
fair words unto thee.
24-12:12 The
spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of
the LORD shall devour from the one end
of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.
24-13:10 This
evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of
their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them,
shall even be as this girdle, which is good for
nothing.
24-13:13 Then
shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants
of this land, even the kings that sit upon
David’s throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, with drunkenness.
24-13:14 And
I will dash them one against another, even the fathers
and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have
mercy, but destroy them.
24-13:18 Say
unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your
principalities shall come down, even the crown of your glory.
24-15:13 Thy
substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders.
24-16:5 For
thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament
nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the
LORD, even
lovingkindness and mercies.
24-17:4 And
thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine
heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the
land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.
24-17:10 I
the LORD search the heart, I try the
reins, even to give every man according to his
ways, and according to the fruit of
his doings.
24-17:27 But
if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a
burden, even entering in at the gates of
Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof,
and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.
24-19:11 And
shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even
so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter’s vessel, that cannot be made whole again:
and they shall bury them in Tophet,
till there be no place to bury.
24-19:12 Thus
will I do unto this place, saith the LORD, and to the inhabitants thereof, and even make
this city as Tophet:
24-21:5 And
I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong
arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great
wrath.
24-22:25 And
I will give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand of them whose face thou fearest, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon,
and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
24-23:12 Wherefore
their way shall be unto them as slippery ways
in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will
bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
24-23:19 Behold,
a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even
a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
24-23:33 And
when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt
then say unto them, What burden? I will even
forsake you, saith the LORD.
24-23:34 And
as for the prophet, and the priest,
and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.
24-23:39 Therefore,
behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and
I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:
24-24:2 One
basket had very good figs, even like
the figs that are first ripe: and the
other basket had very naughty figs,
which could not be eaten, they were so bad.
24-25:3 From
the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come
unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not
hearkened.
24-25:13 And
I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all
that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the
nations.
24-25:31 A
noise shall come even
to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations,
he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.
24-25:33 And
the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be
lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.
24-28:6 Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so:
the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the
vessels of the LORD’S house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon
into this place.
24-28:11 And
Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king
of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And
the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
24-29:23 Because
they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their
neighbours’ wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not
commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, saith the LORD.
24-30:7 Alas!
for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble;
but he shall be saved out of it.
24-31:2 Thus
saith the LORD, The people which were left
of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
24-31:19 Surely
after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote
upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my
youth.
24-31:21 Set
thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the
way which thou wentest: turn again, O
virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
24-32:9 And
I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle’s son, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.
24-32:20 Which
hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel,
and among other men; and hast made
thee a name, as at this day;
24-32:31 For
this city hath been to me as a
provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from
before my face,
24-33:10 Thus
saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and
without beast, even
in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate,
without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
24-33:24 Considerest
thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD
hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus
they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
24-34:20 I
will even give them into the hand of their
enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies
shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.
24-36:2 Take
thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto
thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the
day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even
unto this day.
24-36:12 Then
he went down into the king’s house, into the scribe’s chamber: and, lo, all the
princes sat there, even Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of
Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and
Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes.
24-39:3 And
all the princes of the king of Babylon came in, and sat in the middle gate, even Nergalsharezer,
Samgarnebo, Sarsechim, Rabsaris, Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, with all the residue
of the princes of the king of Babylon.
24-39:12 Take
him, and look well to him, and do him no harm; but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee.
24-39:14 Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of
the prison, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of
Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people.
24-40:7 Now
when all the captains of the forces which were
in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of
Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had
committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land,
of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;
24-40:8 Then
they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael
the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, and Seraiah
the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah the
son of a Maachathite, they and their men.
24-40:12 Even all the Jews returned out of all places whither
they were driven, and came to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah, unto Mizpah, and
gathered wine and summer fruits very much.
24-41:1 Now
it came to pass in the seventh month, that
Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, and
the princes of the king, even ten men with him,
came unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and there they did eat bread
together in Mizpah.
24-41:3 Ishmael
also slew all the Jews that were with him, even with Gedaliah, at Mizpah, and the Chaldeans
that were found there, and the men of
war.
24-41:5 That
there came certain from Shechem, from Shiloh, and from Samaria, even fourscore
men, having their beards shaven, and their clothes rent, and having cut
themselves, with offerings and incense in their hand, to bring them to the house of the LORD.
24-41:10 Then
Ishmael carried away captive all the residue of the people that were in Mizpah, even the king’s daughters, and all
the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard
had committed to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah
carried them away captive, and departed to go over to the Ammonites.
24-41:16 Then
took Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, all the remnant of the
people whom he had recovered from Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, from Mizpah,
after that he had slain Gedaliah the
son of Ahikam, even
mighty men of war, and the women, and the children, and the eunuchs, whom
he had brought again from Gibeon:
24-42:1 Then
all the captains of the forces, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Jezaniah the
son of Hoshaiah, and all the people from the least even
unto the greatest, came near,
24-42:2 And
said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be
accepted before thee, and pray for us unto the LORD thy God, even for
all this remnant; (for we are left but a
few of many, as thine eyes do behold us:)
24-42:5 Then
they said to Jeremiah, The LORD be a true and faithful witness between us, if
we do not even according to all things for the
which the LORD thy God shall send thee to us.
24-42:8 Then
called he Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces which were with him, and all the people from
the least even to the greatest,
24-43:1 And
it came to pass, that when Jeremiah
had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the LORD their
God, for which the LORD their God had sent him to them, even all these words,
24-43:6 Even men,
and women, and children, and the king’s daughters, and every person that
Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam
the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.
24-43:7 So
they came into the land of Egypt: for they obeyed not the voice of the LORD:
thus came they even
to Tahpanhes.
24-44:10 They
are not humbled even
unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my
statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.
24-44:12 And
I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land
of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from
the least even unto the greatest, by the sword
and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.
24-44:15 Then
all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and
all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even
all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah,
saying,
24-45:4 Thus
shalt thou say unto him, The LORD saith thus; Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have
planted I will pluck up, even this whole land.
24-46:25 The
LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of
No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all
them that trust in him:
24-48:32 O
vine of Sibmah, I will weep for thee with the weeping of Jazer: thy plants are
gone over the sea, they reach even to the sea of Jazer: the spoiler is fallen
upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage.
24-48:34 From
the cry of Heshbon even unto Elealeh, and even unto Jahaz, have they uttered
their voice, from Zoar even unto Horonaim, as an heifer of three years old: for the waters also of Nimrim
shall be desolate.
24-48:44 He
that fleeth from the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that getteth up out
of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring upon it, even upon
Moab, the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
24-49:37 For
I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that
seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the
LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:
24-50:7 All
that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not,
because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers.
24-50:21 Go
up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of
Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the LORD, and do according
to all that I have commanded thee.
24-51:9 We
would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go
every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is
lifted up even
to the skies.
24-51:56 Because
the spoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken,
every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompenses shall surely
requite.
24-51:60 So
Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all
these words that are written against Babylon.
25-4:3 Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give
suck to their young ones: the daughter of my
people is become cruel, like the
ostriches in the wilderness.
26-1:27 And
I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it,
from the appearance of his loins even upward,
and from the appearance of his loins even
downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round
about.
26-2:3 And
he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a
rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have
transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
26-4:1 Thou
also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon
it the city, even
Jerusalem:
26-4:13 And
the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of
Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.
26-4:14 Then
said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth
up even till now have I not eaten of that which
dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into
my mouth.
26-5:8 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute
judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
26-6:3 And
say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord
GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys;
Behold, I, even
I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
26-7:14 They
have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready;
but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is
upon all the multitude thereof.
26-8:2 Then
I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of
his loins even downward, fire; and from his
loins even upward, as the appearance of
brightness, as the colour of amber.
26-8:6 He
said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the
great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go
far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.
26-9:1 He
cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge
over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
26-10:2 And
he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under
the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims,
and scatter them over the city. And
he went in in my sight.
26-10:5 And
the sound of the cherubims’ wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the
Almighty God when he speaketh.
26-10:12 And
their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the
wheels, were full of eyes round
about, even
the wheels that they four had.
26-11:15 Son
of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all
the house of Israel wholly, are they
unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD:
unto us is this land given in possession.
26-11:17 Therefore
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather
you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been
scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
26-12:4 Then
shalt thou bring forth thy stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing:
and thou shalt go forth at even in their sight,
as they that go forth into captivity.
26-12:7 And
I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for
captivity, and in the even I digged through the
wall with mine hand; I brought it forth
in the twilight, and I bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.
26-13:10 Because,
even because they have seduced my people,
saying, Peace; and there was no
peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:
26-13:13 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and
there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
26-13:20 Wherefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the
souls go, even
the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
26-14:10 And
they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet
shall be even as the punishment of him that
seeketh unto him;
26-14:22 Yet,
behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they
shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye
shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning
all that I have brought upon it.
26-16:19 My
meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD.
26-16:37 Behold,
therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and
all them that thou hast loved, with
all them that thou hast hated; I will
even gather them round about against thee, and
will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
26-16:59 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with
thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.
26-17:9 Say
thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots
thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all
the leaves of her spring, even without great
power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof.
26-17:16 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in
the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath
he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall
die.
26-17:19 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live,
surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.
26-18:11 And
that doeth not any of those duties, but
even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled
his neighbour’s wife,
26-18:18 As for his father, because he cruelly
oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good
among his people, lo, even he shall die in his
iniquity.
26-20:11 And
I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.
26-20:13 But
the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in
my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in
them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my
fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
26-20:21 Notwithstanding
the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept
my judgments to do them, which if a
man do, he shall even live in them; they
polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to
accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
26-20:31 For
when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye
pollute yourselves with all your idols, even
unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
not be enquired of by you.
26-21:13 Because
it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD.
26-21:28 And
thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the
Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even
say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn:
for the slaughter it is furbished, to
consume because of the glittering:
26-22:4 Thou
art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in
thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near,
and art come even
unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and
a mocking to all countries.
26-22:18 Son
of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead,
in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.
26-23:34 Thou
shalt even drink it and suck it out, and thou shalt break the sherds
thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-24:2 Son
of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set
himself against Jerusalem this same day.
26-24:4 Gather
the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the
shoulder; fill it with the choice
bones.
26-24:9 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.
26-24:18 So
I spake unto the people in the morning: and at even
my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
26-29:10 Behold,
therefore I am against thee, and
against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.
26-30:3 For
the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.
26-32:6 I
will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to
the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee.
26-32:16 This
is the lamentation wherewith they
shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall
lament for her, even
for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:18 Son
of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her,
and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth,
with them that go down into the pit.
26-32:31 Pharaoh
shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh
and all his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:32 For
I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the
midst of the uncircumcised with them that
are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord
GOD.
26-33:18 When
the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall
even die thereby.
26-34:11 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them
out.
26-34:20 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat
cattle and between the lean cattle.
26-34:23 And
I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my
servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
26-34:30 Thus
shall they know that I the LORD their God am
with them, and that they, even the
house of Israel, are my people, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-35:6 Therefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated
blood, even blood shall pursue thee.
26-35:11 Therefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
even do according to thine anger, and according
to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will
make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
26-35:15 As
thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was
desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all
Idumea, even
all of it: and they shall know that I am
the LORD.
26-36:2 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:
26-36:10 And
I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall
be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:
26-36:12 Yea,
I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess
thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth
bereave them of men.
26-37:19 Say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph,
which is in the hand of Ephraim, and
the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with
the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine
hand.
26-37:25 And
they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein
your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and
their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
26-38:4 And
I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee
forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all
sorts of armour, even
a great company with bucklers and
shields, all of them handling swords:
26-39:17 And,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and
to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves
on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the
mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
26-40:14 He
made also posts of threescore cubits, even unto
the post of the court round about the gate.
26-41:17 To
that above the door, even unto the inner house,
and without, and by all the wall round about within and without, by measure.
26-42:12 And
according to the doors of the chambers that were
toward the south was a door in
the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the
east, as one entereth into them.
26-43:1 Afterward
he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:
26-43:3 And
it was according to the appearance of
the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I
came to destroy the city: and the visions were
like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.
26-43:8 In
their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts,
and the wall between me and them, they have even
defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore
I have consumed them in mine anger.
26-43:13 And
these are the measures of the altar
after the cubits: The cubit is a
cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a
cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.
26-43:14 And
from the bottom upon the ground even to
the lower settle shall be two cubits,
and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.
26-44:6 And
thou shalt say to the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations,
26-44:7 In
that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers,
uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to
pollute it, even
my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have
broken my covenant because of all your abominations.
26-44:10 And
the Levites that are gone away far from me, when Israel went astray, which went
astray away from me after their idols; they shall even
bear their iniquity.
26-44:19 And
when they go forth into the utter court, even into the utter court to the people, they
shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy
chambers, and they shall put on other garments; and they shall not sanctify the
people with their garments.
26-47:10 And
it shall come to pass, that the
fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even
unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to
spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of
the great sea, exceeding many.
26-47:19 And
the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And this is the south side southward.
26-48:3 And
by the border of Asher, from the east side even
unto the west side, a portion for Naphtali.
26-48:6 And
by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even
unto the west side, a portion for Reuben.
26-48:10 And
for them, even
for the priests, shall be this holy
oblation; toward the north five and twenty thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward
the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand
in length: and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof.
26-48:28 And
by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto
the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward the great sea.
27-1:21 And
Daniel continued even
unto the first year of king Cyrus.
27-2:43 And
whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves
with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
27-4:15 Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the
earth, even with a band of iron and
brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of
heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the
earth:
27-4:23 And
whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and
saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots
thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron
and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of
heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till
seven times pass over him;
27-5:14 I
have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the
gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and
excellent wisdom is found in thee.
27-6:26 I
make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before
the God of Daniel: for he is the
living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even
unto the end.
27-7:11 I
beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I
beheld even
till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning
flame.
27-7:18 But
the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for
ever, even for ever and ever.
27-7:20 And
of the ten horns that were in his
head, and of the other which came up,
and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth
that spake very great things, whose look was
more stout than his fellows.
27-8:1 In
the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me
Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
27-8:10 And
it waxed great, even
to the host of heaven; and it cast down some
of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
27-8:11 Yea,
he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place
of his sanctuary was cast down.
27-8:15 And
it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for
the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
27-9:5 We
have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have
rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts
and from thy judgments:
27-9:11 Yea,
all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by
departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured
upon us, and the oath that is written
in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
27-9:21 Yea,
whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at
the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening
oblation.
27-9:25 Know
therefore and understand, that from
the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the
Messiah the Prince shall be seven
weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the
wall, even in troublous times.
27-9:27 And
he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the
week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the
overspreading of abominations he shall make it
desolate, even until the consummation, and
that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
27-11:1 Also
I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.
27-11:4 And
when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided
toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his
dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.
27-11:10 But
his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces:
and one shall certainly come, and
overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to
his fortress.
27-11:11 And
the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and
fight with him, even
with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but
the multitude shall be given into his hand.
27-11:24 He
shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest
places of the province; and he shall do that
which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter
among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea,
and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.
27-11:30 For
the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and
return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he
shall even return, and have intelligence with
them that forsake the holy covenant.
27-11:35 And
some of them of understanding shall
fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.
27-11:41 He
shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his
hand, even
Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
27-12:1 And
at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the
children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was
since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy
people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
27-12:4 But
thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many
shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
28-2:20 I
will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness:
and thou shalt know the LORD.
28-5:14 For
I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and
as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away,
and none shall rescue him.
28-9:16 Ephraim
is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they
bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.
28-12:5 Even the LORD God of hosts; the LORD is his memorial.
29-1:2 Hear
this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been
in your days, or even in the days of your
fathers?
29-1:12 The
vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm
tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered:
because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
29-2:2 A
day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as
the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath
not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to
the years of many generations.
29-2:12 Therefore
also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting,
and with weeping, and with mourning:
29-2:14 Who
knoweth if he will return and repent,
and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the
LORD your God?
30-2:11 And
I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even
thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.
30-3:11 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary there
shall be even round about the land; and he
shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.
30-5:1 Hear
ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.
30-5:20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
30-8:4 Hear
this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to
make the poor of the land to fail,
30-8:12 And
they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even
to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall
not find it.
30-8:14 They
that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The
manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall
fall, and never rise up again.
31-1:7 All
the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that
were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and
prevailed against thee; they that eat
thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there
is none understanding in him.
31-1:8 Shall
I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy
the wise men out of Edom, and
understanding out of the mount of Esau?
31-1:11 In
the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers
carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and
cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.
31-1:20 And
the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the
captivity of Jerusalem, which is in
Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south.
32-2:5 The
waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about,
the weeds were wrapped about my head.
32-3:5 So
the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on
sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the
least of them.
32-4:9 And
God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do
well to be angry, even unto death.
33-1:9 For
her wound is incurable; for it is
come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
33-2:2 And
they covet fields, and take them by
violence; and houses, and take them away:
so they oppress a man and his house, even a man
and his heritage.
33-2:8 Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye
pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men
averse from war.
33-2:10 Arise
ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it
shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.
33-2:11 If
a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he
shall even be the prophet of this people.
33-3:4 Then
shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they
have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
33-3:5 Thus
saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with
their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
33-4:7 And
I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong
nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.
33-4:8 And
thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee
shall it come, even the first dominion; the
kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
33-4:10 Be
in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in
travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in
the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered;
there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
33-7:12 In that day also he shall come even to thee from
Assyria, and from the fortified
cities, and from the fortress even to the river,
and from sea to sea, and from mountain
to mountain.
34-2:11 Where
is the dwelling of the lions, and the
feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion’s whelp, and none made them afraid?
34-3:12 All
thy strong holds shall be like fig
trees with the firstripe figs: if they be shaken, they shall even fall into the mouth of the eater.
35-1:2 O
LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!
35-3:9 Thy
bow was made quite naked, according to
the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth
with rivers.
35-3:13 Thou
wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine
anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by
discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.
36-1:14 The
great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the
voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
36-1:18 Neither
their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the
LORD’S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy:
for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all
them that dwell in the land.
36-2:5 Woe
unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word
of the LORD is against you; O Canaan,
the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy
thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.
36-2:9 Therefore
as I live, saith the LORD of hosts,
the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as
Gomorrah, even
the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the
residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall
possess them.
36-2:11 The
LORD will be terrible unto them: for
he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all
the isles of the heathen.
36-3:8 Therefore
wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for
my determination is to gather the
nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all
my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my
jealousy.
36-3:10 From
beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed,
shall bring mine offering.
36-3:15 The
LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of
Israel, even
the LORD, is in the midst of
thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
36-3:20 At
that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make
you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your
captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.
37-2:18 Consider
now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from
the day that the foundation of the LORD’S temple was laid, consider it.
38-3:2 And
the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the
fire?
38-6:10 Take
of them of the captivity, even of
Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, which are come from Babylon, and come thou
the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;
38-6:13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall
bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a
priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
38-7:1 And
it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in
Chisleu;
38-7:5 Speak
unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and
mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to
me?
38-8:23 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it
shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of
the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt
of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
38-9:7 And
I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between
his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as
a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.
38-9:10 And
I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the
battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his
dominion shall be from sea even to
sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.
38-9:12 Turn
you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even
to day do I declare that I will
render double unto thee;
38-11:7 And
I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me
two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed
the flock.
38-11:10 And
I took my staff, even
Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made
with all the people.
38-11:14 Then
I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood
between Judah and Israel.
38-12:6 In
that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the
wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people
round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be
inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
38-14:16 And
it shall come to pass, that every one
that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the
LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
38-14:17 And
it shall be, that whoso will not come
up of all the families of the earth
unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even
upon them shall be no rain.
39-1:10 Who
is there even
among you that would shut the doors for
nought? neither do ye kindle fire on
mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts,
neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
39-1:11 For
from the rising of the sun even unto the going
down of the same my name shall be great
among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith
the LORD of hosts.
39-1:12 But
ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.
39-2:2 If
ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it
to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your
blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
39-2:3 Behold,
I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts;
and one shall take you away with it.
39-3:1 Behold,
I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord,
whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even
the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith
the LORD of hosts.
39-3:7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away
from mine ordinances, and have not kept them.
Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye
said, Wherein shall we return?
39-3:9 Ye
are cursed with a curse: for ye have
robbed me, even
this whole nation.
39-3:15 And
now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
40-5:46 For
if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
40-5:47 And
if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the
publicans so?
40-5:48 Be
ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is
in heaven is perfect.
40-6:29 And
yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his
glory was not arrayed like one of these.
40-7:12 Therefore
all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
40-7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but
a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
40-8:16 When
the even was come, they brought unto him many
that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
40-8:27 But
the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
40-9:18 While
he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and
worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now
dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
40-11:26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
40-12:8 For
the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
40-12:45 Then
goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself,
and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even
so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
40-13:12 For
whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but
whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even
that he hath.
40-15:28 Then
Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even
as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
40-18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in
heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
40-18:33 Shouldest
not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
40-20:8 So
when even was come, the lord of the vineyard
saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
40-20:14 Take
that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
40-20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto,
but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
40-23:8 But
be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are
brethren.
40-23:10 Neither
be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
40-23:28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men,
but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
40-23:37 O
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that
killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often
would I have gathered thy children together, even
as a hen gathereth her chickens under her
wings, and ye would not!
40-24:27 For
as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even
unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40-24:33 So
likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at
the doors.
40-25:29 For
unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from
him that hath not shall be taken away even that
which he hath.
40-26:20 Now
when the even was come, he sat down with the
twelve.
40-26:38 Then
saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even
unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
40-27:57 When
the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea,
named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus’ disciple:
40-28:20 Teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with
you alway, even
unto the end of the world. Amen.
41-1:27 And
they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying,
What thing is this? what new doctrine is this?
for with authority commandeth he even the
unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
41-1:32 And
at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto
him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.
41-4:25 For
he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be
taken even that which he hath.
41-4:35 And
the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto
them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
41-4:36 And
when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even
as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
41-4:41 And
they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this,
that even the wind and the sea obey him?
41-6:2 And
when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many
hearing him were astonished, saying,
From whence hath this man these
things? and what wisdom is this which
is given unto him, that even such mighty works
are wrought by his hands?
41-6:47 And
when even was come, the ship was in the midst of
the sea, and he alone on the land.
41-10:45 For
even the Son of man came not to be ministered
unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
41-11:6 And
they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded:
and they let them go.
41-11:19 And
when even was come, he went out of the city.
41-12:44 For
all they did cast in of their abundance;
but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
41-13:22 For
false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders,
to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
41-13:29 So
ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is
nigh, even
at the doors.
41-13:35 Watch
ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the
morning:
41-14:30 And
Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in
this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.
41-14:54 And
Peter followed him afar off, even into the
palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at
the fire.
41-15:42 And
now when the even was come, because it was the
preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
42-1:2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the
beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;
42-1:15 For
he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor
strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.
42-2:15 And
it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the
shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even
unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath
made known unto us.
42-6:33 And
if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners
also do even the same.
42-8:18 Take
heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and
whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even
that which he seemeth to have.
42-8:25 And
he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying
one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
42-9:54 And
when his disciples James and John saw this,
they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven,
and consume them, even as Elias did?
42-10:11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us,
we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the
kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
42-10:17 And
the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even
the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
42-10:21 In
that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of
heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent,
and hast revealed them unto babes: even so,
Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
42-12:7 But
even the very hairs of your head are all
numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
42-12:41 Then
Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
42-12:57 Yea,
and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is
right?
42-17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man
is revealed.
42-18:11 The
Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not
as other men are, extortioners,
unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
42-19:26 For
I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him
that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken
away from him.
42-19:32 And
they that were sent went their way, and found even
as he had said unto them.
42-19:37 And
when he was come nigh, even now at the descent
of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice
and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
42-19:42 Saying,
If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this
thy day, the things which belong unto
thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
42-19:44 And
shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy
children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another;
because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
42-20:37 Now
that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at
the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac,
and the God of Jacob.
42-24:24 And
certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even
so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
43-1:12 But
as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to
them that believe on his name:
43-3:13 And
no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the
Son of man which is in heaven.
43-3:14 And
as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even
so must the Son of man be lifted up:
43-5:21 For
as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth
whom he will.
43-5:23 That
all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not
the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
43-5:45 Do
not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
43-6:16 And
when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,
43-6:57 As
the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me,
even he shall live by me.
43-8:9 And
they which heard it, being convicted
by their own conscience, went out one
by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and
the woman standing in the midst.
43-8:25 Then
said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that
I said unto you from the beginning.
43-8:41 Ye
do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of
fornication; we have one Father, even God.
43-8:43 Why
do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
43-10:15 As
the Father knoweth me, even so know I the
Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
43-11:22 But
I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask
of God, God will give it thee.
43-11:37 And
some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have
caused that even this man should not have died?
43-12:50 And
I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
43-14:17 Even the
Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not,
neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in
you.
43-14:31 But
that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me
commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go
hence.
43-15:10 If
ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even
as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
43-15:26 But
when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the
Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
43-17:14 I
have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not
of the world, even as I am not of the world.
43-17:16 They
are not of the world, even as I am not of the
world.
43-17:18 As
thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I
also sent them into the world.
43-17:22 And
the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
43-20:21 Then
said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto
you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
43-21:25 And
there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be
written every one, I suppose that even the world
itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
44-2:39 For
the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as
many as the Lord our God shall call.
44-4:10 Be
it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by
him doth this man stand here before you whole.
44-5:37 After
this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much
people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were
dispersed.
44-5:39 But
if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
44-9:17 And
Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him
said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as
thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled
with the Holy Ghost.
44-10:41 Not
to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to
us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
44-11:5 I
was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain
vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four
corners; and it came even to me:
44-12:15 And
they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.
44-15:8 And
God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto
us;
44-15:11 But
we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
44-20:11 When
he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a
long while, even till break of day, so he
departed.
44-22:17 And
it came to pass, that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance;
44-26:11 And
I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I
persecuted them even unto strange cities.
44-27:25 Wherefore,
sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
45-1:13 Now I
would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto
you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
45-1:20 For the
invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being
understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they
are without excuse:
45-1:26 For this
cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even
their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
45-1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a
reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
45-3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that
believe: for there is no difference:
45-4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the
man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
45-4:17 (As it is
written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he
believed, even
God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as
though they were.
45-5:7 For
scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some
would even dare to die.
45-5:14 Nevertheless
death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them
that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the
figure of him that was to come.
45-5:18 Therefore
as by the offence of one judgment came upon
all men to condemnation; even so by the
righteousness of one the free gift came upon
all men unto justification of life.
45-5:21 That as
sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace
reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
45-6:4 Therefore
we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up
from the dead by the glory of the Father, even
so we also should walk in newness of life.
45-6:19 I speak
after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have
yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to
righteousness unto holiness.
45-7:4 Wherefore,
my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye
should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we
should bring forth fruit unto God.
45-8:23 And not
only they, but ourselves also, which
have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we
ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
45-8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that
is risen again, who is even at the right hand of
God, who also maketh intercession for us.
45-9:10 And not
only this; but when Rebecca also had
conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;
45-9:17 For the
scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same
purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my
name might be declared throughout all the earth.
45-9:24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only,
but also of the Gentiles?
45-9:30 What
shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness,
have attained to righteousness, even the
righteousness which is of faith.
45-10:8 But what
saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the
word of faith, which we preach;
45-11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a
remnant according to the election of grace.
45-11:31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through
your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
45-15:3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is
written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
45-15:6 That ye
may with one mind and one mouth
glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ.
46-1:6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
46-2:7 But
we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
46-2:11 For
what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the
Spirit of God.
46-3:1 And
I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as
unto babes in Christ.
46-3:5 Who
then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but
ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord
gave to every man?
46-4:11 Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and
thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;
46-5:7 Purge
out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened.
For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for
us:
46-7:7 For
I would that all men were even as I myself. But
every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after
that.
46-7:8 I
say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.
46-9:14 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach
the gospel should live of the gospel.
46-10:33 Even as I please all men in all things, not
seeking mine own profit, but the profit of
many, that they may be saved.
46-11:1 Be
ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
46-11:5 But
every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
46-11:12 For
as the woman is of the man, even so is the
man also by the woman; but all things of God.
46-11:14 Doth
not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man
have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
46-12:2 Ye
know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
46-13:12 For
now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part;
but then shall I know even as also I am known.
46-14:7 And
even things without life giving sound, whether
pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be
known what is piped or harped?
46-14:12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the
edifying of the church.
46-15:22 For
as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all
be made alive.
46-15:24 Then
cometh the end, when he shall have
delivered up the kingdom to God, even the
Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
46-16:1 Now
concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches
of Galatia, even so do ye.
47-1:3 Blessed
be God, even
the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all
comfort;
47-1:8 For
we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia,
that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired
even of life:
47-1:13 For
we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I
trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;
47-1:14 As
also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are
ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
47-1:19 For
the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by
me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
47-3:10 For
even that which was made glorious had no glory
in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
47-3:15 But
even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail
is upon their heart.
47-3:18 But
we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are
changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
47-7:14 For
if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake
all things to you in truth, even so our
boasting, which I made before Titus,
is found a truth.
47-10:7 Do
ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself
that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ’s, even
so are we Christ’s.
47-10:13 But
we will not boast of things without our measure,
but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a
measure to reach even unto you.
47-11:12 But
what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire
occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even
as we.
47-13:9 For
we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your
perfection.
48-2:16 Knowing
that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus
Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ,
that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the
law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
48-3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to
him for righteousness.
48-4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage
under the elements of the world:
48-4:14 And
my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received
me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
48-4:29 But
as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even
so it is now.
48-5:12 I
would they were even cut off which trouble you.
48-5:14 For
all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself.
49-1:10 That
in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all
things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in
him:
49-2:3 Among
whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh,
fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the
children of wrath, even as others.
49-2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us
together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
49-2:15 Having
abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new
man, so making peace;
49-4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
49-4:15 But
speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the
head, even
Christ:
49-4:32 And
be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
49-5:12 For
it is a shame even to speak of those things
which are done of them in secret.
49-5:23 For
the husband is the head of the wife, even as
Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
49-5:25 Husbands,
love your wives, even as Christ also loved the
church, and gave himself for it;
49-5:29 For
no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
49-5:33 Nevertheless
let every one of you in particular so love his wife even
as himself; and the wife see that she
reverence her husband.
50-1:7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all,
because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the
defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
50-1:15 Some
indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife;
and some also of good will:
50-2:8 And
being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto
death, even the death of the cross.
50-3:15 Let
us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be
otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this
unto you.
50-3:18 (For
many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that
they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
50-3:21 Who
shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious
body, according to the working whereby he is able even
to subdue all things unto himself.
50-4:16 For
even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto
my necessity.
51-1:14 In
whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
51-1:26 Even the
mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made
manifest to his saints:
51-3:13 Forbearing
one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
52-1:10 And
to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus,
which delivered us from the wrath to come.
52-2:2 But
even after that we had suffered before, and were
shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak
unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
52-2:4 But
as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which
trieth our hearts.
52-2:7 But
we were gentle among you, even as a nurse
cherisheth her children:
52-2:14 For
ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in
Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have
of the Jews:
52-2:18 Wherefore
we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once
and again; but Satan hindered us.
52-2:19 For
what is our hope, or joy, or crown of
rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at
his coming?
52-3:4 For
verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer
tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye
know.
52-3:12 And
the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward
all men, even
as we do toward you:
52-3:13 To
the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ with all his saints.
52-4:3 For
this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain
from fornication:
52-4:5 Not
in the lust of concupiscence, even as the
Gentiles which know not God:
52-4:13 But
I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are
asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which
have no hope.
52-4:14 For
if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even
so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
52-5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one
another, even as also ye do.
53-2:9 Even him, whose
coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying
wonders,
53-2:16 Now
our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our
Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us
everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
53-3:1 Finally,
brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even
as it is with you:
53-3:10 For even when we
were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work,
neither should he eat.
54-3:11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober,
faithful in all things.
54-6:3 If
any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the
words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to
godliness;
55-2:9 Wherein
I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
56-1:12 One
of themselves, even
a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
56-1:15 Unto
the pure all things are pure: but
unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is
nothing pure; but even their mind and
conscience is defiled.
57-1:19 I
Paul have written it with mine own
hand, I will repay it: albeit I do
not say to thee how thou owest unto me even
thine own self besides.
58-1:9 Thou
hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy
God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
58-4:12 For
the word of God is quick, and
powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints
and marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart.
58-5:14 But
strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have
their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
58-6:20 Whither
the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the
order of Melchisedec.
58-7:4 Now
consider how great this man was, unto
whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth
of the spoils.
58-11:12 Therefore
sprang there even of one, and him as good as
dead, so many as the stars of the sky
in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
58-11:19 Accounting
that God was able to raise him up, even
from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
59-2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being
alone.
59-3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth
great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
59-3:9 Therewith
bless we God, even the Father; and therewith
curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
59-4:1 From
whence come wars and fightings among
you? come they not hence, even of
your lusts that war in your members?
59-4:14 Whereas
ye know not what shall be on the
morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and
then vanisheth away.
60-1:9 Receiving
the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
60-2:8 And
a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the
word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
60-2:21 For
even hereunto were ye called: because Christ
also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
60-3:4 But
let it be the hidden man of the
heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit,
which is in the sight of God of great price.
60-3:6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose
daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
60-3:21 The
like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the
putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience
toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
60-4:10 As
every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good
stewards of the manifold grace of God.
61-1:14 Knowing
that shortly I must put off this my
tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath
shewed me.
61-2:1 But
there were false prophets also among the people, even
as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable
heresies, even denying the Lord that bought
them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
61-3:15 And
account that the longsuffering of our
Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the
wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
62-2:6 He
that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
62-2:9 He
that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
62-2:18 Little
children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come,
even now are there many antichrists; whereby we
know that it is the last time.
62-2:25 And
this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
62-2:27 But
the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not
that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things,
and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath
taught you, ye shall abide in him.
62-3:3 And
every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
62-3:7 Little
children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
62-4:3 And
every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not
of God: and this is that spirit of
antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
62-5:4 For
whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that
overcometh the world, even our faith.
62-5:6 This
is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water
and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is
truth.
62-5:20 And
we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that
we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in
his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
64-1:2 Beloved,
I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
64-1:3 For
I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is
in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
65-1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them
in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange
flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
65-1:23 And
others save with fear, pulling them out
of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by
the flesh.
66-1:7 Behold,
he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds
of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so,
Amen.
66-2:13 I
know thy works and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain
among you, where Satan dwelleth.
66-2:27 And
he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be
broken to shivers: even as I received of my
Father.
66-3:4 Thou
hast a few names even in Sardis which have not
defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are
worthy.
66-3:21 To
him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my
Father in his throne.
66-6:13 And
the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as
a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
66-14:20 And
the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the
winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space
of a thousand and six hundred
furlongs.
66-16:7 And
I heard another out of the altar say, Even so,
Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are
thy judgments.
66-17:11 And
the beast that was, and is not, even he is the
eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
66-18:6 Reward
her even as she rewarded you, and double unto
her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her
double.
66-21:11 Having
the glory of God: and her light was like
unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper
stone, clear as crystal;
66-22:20 He
which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
