14-28:7†††† And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah the kingís son, and Azrikam the governor of the house, and Elkanah that was next to the king.

14-28:12††† Then certain of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of Hadlai, stood up against them that came from the war,

14-30:1†††† And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.

14-30:10††† So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.

14-30:18††† For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one

14-31:1†††† Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.

14-34:6†††† And so did he in the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, even unto Naphtali, with their mattocks round about.

14-34:9†††† And when they came to Hilkiah the high priest, they delivered the money that was brought into the house of God, which the Levites that kept the doors had gathered of the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all the remnant of Israel, and of all Judah and Benjamin; and they returned to Jerusalem.

16-Nehemiah

16-8:16†††† So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.

16-12:39††† And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.

19-Psalms

19-60:7†††† Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

19-78:9†††† The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.

19-78:67††† Moreover he refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim:

19-80:2†††† Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.

19-108:8††† Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

23-Isaiah

23-7:2††††† And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.

23-7:5††††† Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,

23-7:8††††† For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.

23-7:9††††† And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliahís son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.

23-7:17†††† The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy fatherís house, days that have not come from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.

23-9:9††††† And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,

23-9:21†††† Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they together shall be against Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

23-11:13††† The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.

23-17:3†††† The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts.

23-28:1†††† Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!

23-28:3†††† The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:

24-Jeremiah

24-4:15†††† For a voice declareth from Dan, and publisheth affliction from mount Ephraim.

24-7:15†††† And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.

24-31:6†††† For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

24-31:9†††† They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

24-31:18††† I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.

24-31:20††† Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

24-50:19††† And I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead.

26-Ezekiel

26-37:16††† Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

26-37:19††† Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

26-48:5†††† And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Ephraim.

26-48:6†††† And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, a portion for Reuben.

28-Hosea

28-4:17†††† Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.

28-5:3††††† I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.

28-5:5††††† And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.

28-5:9††††† Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.

28-5:11†††† Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.

28-5:12†††† Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.

28-5:13†††† When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.

28-5:14†††† For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.

28-6:4††††† O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.

28-6:10†††† I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.

28-7:1††††† When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.

28-7:8††††† Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.

28-7:11†††† Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.

28-8:9††††† For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers.

28-8:11†††† Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin.

28-9:3††††† They shall not dwell in the LORDíS land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria.

28-9:8††††† The watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God.

28-9:11†††† As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.

28-9:13†††† Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer.

28-9:16†††† Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.

28-10:6†††† It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.

28-10:11††† And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.

28-11:3†††† I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.

28-11:8†††† How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.

28-11:9†††† I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.

28-11:12††† Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.

28-12:1†††† Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.

28-12:8†††† And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin.

28-12:14††† Ephraim provoked him to anger most bitterly: therefore shall he leave his blood upon him, and his reproach shall his Lord return unto him.

28-13:1†††† When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.

28-13:12††† The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid.

28-14:8†††† Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.

31-Obadiah

31-1:19†††† And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.

38-Zechariah

38-9:10†††† And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.

38-9:13†††† When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.

38-10:7†††† And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.

43-John

43-11:54††† Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.
