_______________________________________________________________________
01-1:1 In the
beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
01-1:2 And the earth was without form, and void;
and darkness was upon the face of the
deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
01-1:10 And God
called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together
of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
01-1:11 And God
said, Let the earth bring
forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the
fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
01-1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind,
and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was
in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
01-1:15 And let
them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
01-1:17 And God
set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
01-1:20 And God
said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life,
and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of
heaven.
01-1:22 And God
blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the
seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
01-1:24 And God
said, Let the earth bring
forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast
of the earth after
his kind: and it was so.
01-1:25 And God
made the beast of the earth after
his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw
that it was good.
01-1:26 And God
said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle,
and over all the earth, and
over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
01-1:28 And God
blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish
the earth, and
subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the
air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
01-1:29 And God
said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which
is the fruit of a tree yielding seed;
to you it shall be for meat.
01-1:30 And to
every beast of the earth, and
to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every
green herb for meat: and it was so.
01-2:1 Thus the
heavens and the earth were
finished, and all the host of them.
01-2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and
of the earth when
they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
01-2:5 And every
plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for
the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there
was not a man to till the ground.
01-2:6 But
there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
01-4:11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth
to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;
01-4:12 When thou
tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a
fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
01-4:14 Behold,
thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy
face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall
slay me.
01-6:1 And it
came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto
them,
01-6:4 There
were giants in the earth in
those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the
daughters of men, and they bare children to
them, the same became mighty men
which were of old, men of renown.
01-6:5 And God
saw that the wickedness of man was great
in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts
of his heart was only evil
continually.
01-6:6 And it
repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
01-6:7 And the
LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the
creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made
them.
01-6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God,
and the earth was
filled with violence.
01-6:12 And God
looked upon the earth, and,
behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
01-6:13 And God
said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence
through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
01-6:17 And,
behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under
heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
01-6:20 Of fowls
after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of
the earth after
his kind, two of every sort shall
come unto thee, to keep them alive.
01-7:3 Of fowls
also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the
face of all the earth.
01-7:4 For yet
seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living
substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
01-7:6 And Noah was
six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
01-7:8 Of clean
beasts, and of beasts that are not
clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
01-7:10 And it
came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
01-7:12 And the
rain was upon the earth forty
days and forty nights.
01-7:14 They, and
every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind,
every bird of every sort.
01-7:17 And the
flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark,
and it was lift up above the earth.
01-7:18 And the
waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
01-7:19 And the
waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were
covered.
01-7:21 And all
flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that
creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
01-7:23 And every
living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man,
and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were
destroyed from the earth: and
Noah only remained alive, and they
that were with him in the ark.
01-7:24 And the
waters prevailed upon the earth an
hundred and fifty days.
01-8:1 And God
remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a
wind to pass over the earth, and
the waters asswaged;
01-8:3 And the
waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and
fifty days the waters were abated.
01-8:7 And he
sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up
from off the earth.
01-8:9 But the dove
found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark,
for the waters were on the face of
the whole earth: then
he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
01-8:11 And the
dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were
abated from off the earth.
01-8:13 And it
came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering
of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
01-8:14 And in
the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.
01-8:17 Bring
forth with thee every living thing that is
with thee, of all flesh, both of
fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed
abundantly in the earth, and
be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
01-8:19 Every
beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.
01-8:22 While the
earth remaineth, seedtime and
harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not
cease.
01-9:1 And God blessed
Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish
the earth.
01-9:2 And the
fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the
air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your
hand are they delivered.
01-9:7 And you,
be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.
01-9:10 And with
every living creature that is with you,
of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to
every beast of the earth.
01-9:11 And I
will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any
more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to
destroy the earth.
01-9:13 I do set
my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and
the earth.
01-9:14 And it shall
come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
01-9:16 And the
bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the
everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
01-9:17 And God
said unto Noah, This is the token of
the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
01-9:19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them
was the whole earth
overspread.
01-10:8 And Cush
begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
01-10:25 And unto Eber
were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg;
for in his days was the earth
divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
01-10:32 These are the families of the sons of Noah,
after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations
divided in the earth after
the flood.
01-11:1 And the
whole earth was of
one language, and of one speech.
01-11:4 And they
said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered
abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
01-11:8 So the
LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build
the city.
01-11:9 Therefore
is the name of it called
01-12:3 And I
will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall
all families of the earth be
blessed.
01-13:16 And I will
make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
01-14:19 And he
blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram
of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
01-14:22 And Abram
said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most
high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,
01-18:18 Seeing
that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations
of the earth shall
be blessed in him?
01-18:25 That be
far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked:
and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall
not the Judge of all the earth do
right?
01-19:23 The sun
was risen upon the earth when
01-19:31 And the
firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is
old, and there is not a man in
the earth to
come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:
01-22:18 And in thy
seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
01-24:3 And I
will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a
wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:
01-24:52 And it
came to pass, that, when Abraham’s servant heard their words, he worshipped the
LORD, bowing himself to the earth.
01-26:4 And I
will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed
all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
01-26:15 For all
the wells which his father’s servants had digged in the days of Abraham his
father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled them with earth.
01-27:28 Therefore
God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:
01-27:39 And Isaac
his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the
fatness of the earth, and
of the dew of heaven from above;
01-28:12 And he
dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending
on it.
01-28:14 And thy
seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to
the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall
all the families of the earth be
blessed.
01-37:10 And he
told it to his father, and to his
brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed?
Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren
indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?
01-41:47 And in the
seven plenteous years the earth
brought forth by handfuls.
01-41:56 And the
famine was over all the face of the earth: And Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold
unto the Egyptians; and the famine waxed sore in the
01-42:6 And
Joseph was the governor over the
land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph’s
brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth.
01-43:26 And when
Joseph came home, they brought him the present which was in their hand into the house, and bowed themselves to him to
the earth.
01-45:7 And God sent
me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
01-48:12 And Joseph
brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to
the earth.
01-48:16 The Angel
which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on
them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a
multitude in the midst of the earth.
02-8:17 And they did so; for Aaron stretched
out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the
dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
02-8:22 And I will sever in that day the
land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.
02-9:14 For I will at this time send all my
plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou
mayest know that there is none like
me in all the earth.
02-9:15 For now I will stretch out my hand,
that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off
from the earth.
02-9:16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew
in thee my power; and that my name
may be declared throughout all the earth.
02-9:29 And Moses said unto him, As soon as
I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the LORD; and the thunder shall cease, neither
shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the Lord’s.
02-9:33 And Moses went out of the city from
Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands unto the LORD: and the thunders and hail
ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.
02-10:5 And they shall cover the face of the
earth, that one cannot be able to
see the earth: and
they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you
from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field:
02-10:6 And they shall fill thy houses, and
the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which
neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers’ fathers have seen, since the day that
they were upon the earth unto
this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh.
02-10:15 For they covered the face of the
whole earth, so
that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all
the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any
green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the
02-15:12 Thou stretchedst out thy right hand,
the earth
swallowed them.
02-19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my
voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto
me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
02-20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any
graven image, or any likeness of any
thing that is in heaven above, or
that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
02-20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day:
wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
02-20:24 An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice
thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine
oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will
bless thee.
02-31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of
02-32:12 Wherefore should the Egyptians speak,
and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and
to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this
evil against thy people.
02-33:16 For wherein shall it be known here
that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I
and thy people, from all the people that are
upon the face of the earth.
02-34:8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his
head toward the earth, and
worshipped.
02-34:10 And he said, Behold, I make a
covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done
in all the earth, nor
in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
03-11:2 Speak
unto the children of
03-11:21 Yet these
may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the
earth;
03-11:29 These also
shall be unclean unto you among the
creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise
after his kind,
03-11:41 And every
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an
abomination; it shall not be eaten.
03-11:42 Whatsoever
goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things
that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not
eat; for they are an abomination.
03-11:44 For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore
sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
03-11:46 This is the law of the beasts, and of the
fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every
creature that creepeth upon the earth:
03-15:12 And the
vessel of earth, that
he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood
shall be rinsed in water.
03-26:19 And I will
break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
04-11:31 And there
went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a
day’s journey on this side, and as it were a day’s journey on the other side,
round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
04-12:3 (Now the
man Moses was very meek, above all
the men which were upon the face of
the earth.)
04-14:21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.
04-16:30 But if the
LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all
that appertain unto them, and they go
down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked
the LORD.
04-16:32 And the earth opened her mouth, and
swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their
goods.
04-16:33 They, and
all that appertained to them, went
down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among
the congregation.
04-16:34 And all
04-22:5 He sent
messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the
children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out
from
04-22:11 Behold, there is a people come out of
04-26:10 And the earth opened her mouth, and
swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the
fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.
05-3:24 O Lord
GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand:
for what God is there in heaven or in
earth, that can do according to thy
works, and according to thy might?
05-4:10 Specially the day that thou stoodest
before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the
people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to
fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they
may teach their children.
05-4:17 The
likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged
fowl that flieth in the air,
05-4:18 The
likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish
that is in the waters beneath the earth:
05-4:26 I call
heaven and earth to
witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the
land whereunto ye go over
05-4:32 For ask
now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God
created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the
other, whether there hath been any such
thing as this great thing is, or
hath been heard like it?
05-4:36 Out of
heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great
fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire.
05-4:39 Know
therefore this day, and consider it in
thine heart, that the LORD he is God
in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there
is none else.
05-4:40 Thou shalt
keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this
day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that
thou mayest prolong thy days upon the
earth, which the LORD thy God
giveth thee, for ever.
05-5:8 Thou
shalt not make thee any graven image,
or any likeness of any thing that is in
heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
05-6:15 (For the
LORD thy God is a jealous God among you)
lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee
from off the face of the earth.
05-7:6 For thou
art an holy people unto the LORD thy
God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself,
above all people that are upon the
face of the earth.
05-10:14 Behold,
the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the
LORD’S thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.
05-11:6 And what he
did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and
swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance
that was in their possession, in the
midst of all Israel:
05-11:21 That your
days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the
LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
05-12:1 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye
shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to
possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
05-12:16 Only ye
shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.
05-12:19 Take heed
to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.
05-12:24 Thou shalt
not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.
05-13:7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or
far off from thee, from the one end
of the earth even
unto the other end of the earth;
05-14:2 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God,
and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all
the nations that are upon the earth.
05-26:2 That thou
shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD
thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in
a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to
place his name there.
05-28:1 And it
shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD
thy God, to observe and to do all his
commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee
on high above all nations of the earth:
05-28:10 And all
people of the earth shall
see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of
thee.
05-28:23 And thy
heaven that is over thy head shall be
brass, and the earth that
is under thee shall be iron.
05-28:25 The LORD
shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way
against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all
the kingdoms of the earth.
05-28:26 And thy
carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.
05-28:49 The LORD
shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not
understand;
05-28:64 And the
LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and
there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have
known, even wood and stone.
05-30:19 I call
heaven and earth to
record this day against you, that I have
set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life,
that both thou and thy seed may live:
05-31:28 Gather
unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these
words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them.
05-32:1 Give ear,
O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
05-32:13 He made
him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields;
and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;
05-32:22 For a fire
is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall
consume the earth with
her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
05-33:16 And for
the precious things of the earth and
fulness thereof, and for the good
will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the
blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
05-33:17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock,
and his horns are like the horns of
unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and
they are the thousands of Manasseh.
06-2:11 And as
soon as we had heard these things, our
hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because
of you: for the LORD your God, he is God
in heaven above, and in earth
beneath.
06-3:11 Behold,
the ark of the covenant of the LORD of all the earth passeth over before you into
06-3:13 And it
shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear
the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut
off from the waters that come down
from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.
06-4:24 That all
the people of the earth might
know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty:
that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.
06-5:14 And he
said, Nay; but as captain of the host
of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said
unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
06-7:6 And
Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the LORD until
the eventide, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads.
06-7:9 For the Canaanites
and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto
thy great name?
06-7:21 When I
saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of
silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and
took them; and, behold, they are hid
in the earth in the
midst of my tent, and the silver under it.
06-23:14 And,
behold, this day I am going the way
of all the earth: and
ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath
failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all
are come to pass unto you, and not
one thing hath failed thereof.
07-3:25 And
they tarried till they were ashamed: and, behold, he opened not the doors of
the parlour; therefore they took a key, and opened them: and, behold, their lord was
fallen down dead on the earth.
07-5:4 LORD,
when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of
07-6:4 And
they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto
07-6:37 Behold,
I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and
if the dew be on the fleece only, and it
be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt
save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said.
07-18:10 When
ye go, ye shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God hath
given it into your hands; a place where there
is no want of any thing that is in
the earth.
09-2:8 He raiseth up the poor out of the
dust, and lifteth up the beggar from
the dunghill, to set them among
princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.
09-2:10 The
adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he
thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and
exalt the horn of his anointed.
09-4:5 And
when the ark of the covenant of the LORD came into the camp, all
09-4:12 And
there ran a man of Benjamin out of the army, and came to
09-5:3 And
when they of
09-14:15 And
there was trembling in the host, in the field, and among all the people: the
garrison, and the spoilers, they also trembled, and the earth quaked: so it was a very great trembling.
09-17:46 This
day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take
thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the
Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God
in Israel.
09-17:49 And
David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his
forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to
the earth.
09-20:15 But
also thou shalt not cut off thy
kindness from my house for ever: no, not when the LORD hath cut off the enemies
of David every one from the face of the earth.
09-24:8 David
also arose afterward, and went out of the cave, and cried after Saul, saying,
My lord the king. And when Saul looked behind him, David stooped with his face
to the earth, and
bowed himself.
09-25:41 And
she arose, and bowed herself on her face
to the earth, and
said, Behold, let thine handmaid be a servant to wash the feet of the
servants of my lord.
09-26:8 Then
said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day:
now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time.
09-26:20 Now
therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the LORD: for the king of
09-28:13 And
the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said
unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.
09-28:20 Then
Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of
Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the
day, nor all the night.
09-28:23 But
he refused, and said, I will not eat. But his servants, together with the
woman, compelled him; and he hearkened unto their voice. So he arose from the earth, and sat upon the bed.
09-30:16 And
when he had brought him down, behold, they
were spread abroad upon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all
the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out
of the land of Judah.
10-1:2 It
came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp
from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.
10-4:11 How
much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon
his bed? shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand, and take you
away from the earth?
10-7:9 And
I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies
out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the
great men that are in the earth.
10-7:23 And
what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like
10-12:16 David
therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay
all night upon the earth.
10-12:17 And
the elders of his house arose, and went to
him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with
them.
10-12:20 Then
David arose from the earth, and
washed, and anointed himself, and
changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped: then
he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and
he did eat.
10-13:31 Then
the king arose, and tare his garments, and lay on the earth; and all his servants stood by with their clothes
rent.
10-14:7 And,
behold, the whole family is risen against thine handmaid, and they said,
Deliver him that smote his brother, that we may kill him, for the life of his
brother whom he slew; and we will destroy the heir also: and so they shall
quench my coal which is left, and shall not leave to my husband neither name nor remainder upon the earth.
10-14:11 Then
said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou
wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they
destroy my son. And he said, As the
LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.
10-14:20 To fetch about this form of speech
hath thy servant Joab done this thing: and my lord is wise, according to the wisdom of an angel of God, to know all things that are in the earth.
10-15:32 And
it came to pass, that when David was
come to the top of the mount, where
he worshipped God, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat
rent, and earth upon
his head:
10-18:9 And
Absalom met the servants of David. And Absalom rode upon a mule, and the mule
went under the thick boughs of a great oak, and his head caught hold of the
oak, and he was taken up between the heaven and the earth; and the mule that was under him went away.
10-18:28 And
Ahimaaz called, and said unto the king, All is well. And he fell down to the earth upon his face before the
king, and said, Blessed be the LORD
thy God, which hath delivered up the men that lifted up their hand against my
lord the king.
10-22:8 Then
the earth shook
and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
10-22:43 Then
did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.
10-23:4 And
he shall be as the light of the
morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain.
11-1:31 Then
Bathsheba bowed with her face to the earth, and did reverence to the
king, and said, Let my lord king David live for ever.
11-1:40 And
all the people came up after him, and the people piped with pipes, and rejoiced
with great joy, so that the earth rent
with the sound of them.
11-1:52 And
Solomon said, If he will shew himself a worthy man, there shall not an hair of
him fall to the earth: but
if wickedness shall be found in him, he shall die.
11-2:2 I
go the way of all the earth: be
thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man;
11-4:34 And
there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his
wisdom.
11-8:23 And
he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no
God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy
servants that walk before thee with all their heart:
11-8:27 But
will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot
contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?
11-8:43 Hear
thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger
calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people
11-8:53 For
thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy
servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of
11-8:60 That
all the people of the earth may
know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.
11-10:23 So
king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.
11-10:24 And
all the earth sought
to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
11-13:34 And
this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.
11-17:14 For
thus saith the LORD God of
11-18:1 And
it came to pass after many days, that
the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself
unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.
11-18:42 So
Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of
12-5:15 And
he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood
before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take
a blessing of thy servant.
12-5:17 And
Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two
mules’ burden of earth? for
thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto
other gods, but unto the LORD.
12-10:10 Know
now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD
spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.
12-19:15 And
Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of
12-19:19 Now
therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that
all the kingdoms of the earth may
know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only.
13-1:10 And
Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.
13-1:19 And
unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother’s name was Joktan.
13-16:14 He
is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
13-16:23 Sing
unto the LORD, all the earth; shew
forth from day to day his salvation.
13-16:30 Fear
before him, all the earth: the
world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
13-16:31 Let
the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.
13-16:33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing
out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.
13-17:8 And
I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all
thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the
great men that are in the earth.
13-17:21 And
what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went
to redeem to be his own people, to
make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from
before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?
13-21:16 And
David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the LORD stand between the earth and the heaven, having a
drawn sword in his hand stretched out over
13-22:8 But
the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and
hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou
hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.
13-29:11 Thine,
O LORD, is the greatness, and the
power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the
kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
13-29:15 For
we are strangers before thee, and
sojourners, as were all our fathers:
our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
14-1:9 Now,
O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast
made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
14-2:12 Huram
said moreover, Blessed be the LORD
God of
14-6:14 And
said, O LORD God of
14-6:18 But
will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot
contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!
14-6:33 Then
hear thou from the heavens, even from
thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee
for; that all people of the earth may
know thy name, and fear thee, as doth thy
people
14-9:22 And
king Solomon passed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.
14-9:23 And
all the kings of the earth sought
the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in his heart.
14-16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and
fro throughout the whole earth, to
shew himself strong in the behalf of them
whose heart is perfect toward
him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have
wars.
14-20:24 And
when
14-32:19 And
they spake against the God of Jerusalem, as against the gods of the people of
the earth, which were the work of the hands of man.
14-36:23 Thus
saith Cyrus king of
15-1:2 Thus
saith Cyrus king of
15-5:11 And
thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven
and earth, and
build the house that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of

16-9:6 Thou, even thou, art LORD
alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein,
the seas, and all that is therein,
and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
18-1:7 And
the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and
said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
18-1:8 And
the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright
man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
18-2:2 And
the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD,
and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
18-2:3 And
the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright
man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his
integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
18-3:14 With
kings and counsellors of the earth, which built desolate places for themselves;
18-5:10 Who
giveth rain upon the earth, and
sendeth waters upon the fields:
18-5:22 At
destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the
beasts of the earth.
18-5:25 Thou
shalt know also that thy seed shall be great,
and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.
18-7:1 Is there not an appointed time to man
upon earth? are not his days also like the days of
an hireling?
18-8:9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing,
because our days upon earth are a shadow:)
18-8:19 Behold,
this is the joy of his way, and out
of the earth shall
others grow.
18-9:6 Which
shaketh the earth out of
her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.
18-9:24 The
earth is given into the hand of the
wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?
18-11:9 The
measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
18-12:8 Or speak
to the earth, and
it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
18-12:15 Behold,
he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they
overturn the earth.
18-12:24 He
taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
18-14:8 Though
the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;
18-14:19 The
waters wear the stones: thou washest away the things which grow out of the dust of the earth; and thou destroyest the hope
of man.
18-15:19 Unto
whom alone the earth was
given, and no stranger passed among them.
18-15:29 He
shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he
prolong the perfection thereof upon the earth.
18-16:18 O
earth, cover not thou my blood, and
let my cry have no place.
18-18:4 He
teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be
removed out of his place?
18-18:17 His
remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
18-19:25 For
I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
18-20:4 Knowest
thou not this of old, since man was
placed upon earth,
18-20:27 The
heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.
18-22:8 But
as for the mighty man, he had the earth; and the honourable man dwelt
in it.
18-24:4 They
turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
18-24:18 He
is swift as the waters; their portion
is cursed in the earth: he
beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.
18-26:7 He
stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon
nothing.
18-28:2 Iron
is taken out of the earth, and
brass is molten out of the stone.
18-28:5 As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned
up as it were fire.
18-28:24 For
he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth
under the whole heaven;
18-30:6 To
dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves
of the earth, and in the rocks.
18-30:8 They were children of fools, yea,
children of base men: they were viler than the earth.
18-34:13 Who
hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
18-35:11 Who
teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
18-37:3 He
directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
18-37:6 For
he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain,
and to the great rain of his strength.
18-37:12 And
it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he
commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
18-37:17 How
thy garments are warm, when he
quieteth the earth by the
south wind?
18-38:4 Where
wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
18-38:13 That
it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
18-38:18 Hast
thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.
18-38:24 By
what way is the light parted, which scattereth
the east wind upon the earth?
18-38:26 To
cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there
is no man;
18-38:33 Knowest
thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
18-39:14 Which
leaveth her eggs in the earth, and
warmeth them in dust,
18-41:33 Upon
earth there is not his like, who is
made without fear.
19-2:2 The
kings of the earth set
themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against
his anointed, saying,
19-2:8 Ask
of me, and I shall give thee the
heathen for thine inheritance, and
the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
19-2:10 Be
wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
19-7:5 Let
the enemy persecute my soul, and take it;
yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
19-8:1 O
LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy
name in all the earth! who
hast set thy glory above the heavens.
19-8:9 O
LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy
name in all the earth!
19-10:18 To
judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
19-12:6 The
words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
19-16:3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the
excellent, in whom is all my delight.
19-17:11 They
have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the
earth;
19-18:7 Then
the earth shook
and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because
he was wroth.
19-19:4 Their
line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them
hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
19-21:10 Their
fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
19-22:29 All
they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all
they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his
own soul.
19-24:1 The
earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that
dwell therein.
19-25:13 His
soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
19-33:5 He
loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
19-33:8 Let
all the earth fear
the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
19-33:14 From
the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
19-34:16 The
face of the LORD is against them that
do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
19-37:9 For
evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall
inherit the earth.
19-37:11 But
the meek shall inherit the earth; and
shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
19-37:22 For
such as be blessed of him shall
inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut
off.
19-41:2 The
LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and
he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of
his enemies.
19-44:25 For
our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.
19-45:16 Instead
of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.
19-46:2 Therefore
will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried
into the midst of the sea;
19-46:6 The
heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
19-46:8 Come,
behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
19-46:9 He
maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in
sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
19-46:10 Be
still, and know that I am God: I will
be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
19-47:2 For
the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
19-47:7 For
God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with
understanding.
19-47:9 The
princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
19-48:2 Beautiful
for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is
19-48:10 According
to thy name, O God, so is thy praise
unto the ends of the earth: thy
right hand is full of righteousness.
19-50:1 The
mighty God, even the LORD, hath
spoken, and called the earth from
the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
19-50:4 He
shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
19-57:5 Be
thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let
thy glory be above all the earth.
19-57:11 Be
thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let
thy glory be above all the earth.
19-58:2 Yea,
in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
19-58:11 So
that a man shall say, Verily there is a
reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
19-59:13 Consume
them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them
know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
19-60:2 Thou
hast made the earth to
tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.
19-61:2 From
the end of the earth will I
cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
19-63:9 But
those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the
earth.
19-65:5 By terrible things in righteousness wilt
thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who
art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:
19-65:9 Thou
visitest the earth, and
waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the
19-66:4 All
the earth shall
worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.
19-67:2 That
thy way may be known upon earth, thy
saving health among all nations.
19-67:4 O
let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people
righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
19-67:6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own
God, shall bless us.
19-67:7 God
shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
19-68:8 The
earth shook, the heavens also
dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai
itself was moved at the presence of
God, the God of Israel.
19-68:32 Sing
unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:
19-69:34 Let
the heaven and earth praise
him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.
19-71:20 Thou, which hast shewed me great and
sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the
depths of the earth.
19-72:6 He
shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
19-72:8 He
shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of
the earth.
19-72:16 There
shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof
shall shake like
19-72:19 And
blessed be his glorious name for
ever: and let the whole earth be
filled with his glory; Amen, and
Amen.
19-73:9 They
set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
19-73:25 Whom
have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
19-74:12 For
God is my King of old, working
salvation in the midst of the earth.
19-74:17 Thou
hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.
19-74:20 Have
respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
19-75:3 The
earth and all the inhabitants
thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
19-75:8 For
in the hand of the LORD there is a
cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the
same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them
out, and drink them.
19-76:8 Thou
didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
19-76:9 When
God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
19-76:12 He
shall cut off the spirit of princes: he
is terrible to the kings of the earth.
19-77:18 The
voice of thy thunder was in the
heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.
19-78:69 And
he built his sanctuary like high palaces,
like the earth which
he hath established for ever.
19-79:2 The
dead bodies of thy servants have they given to
be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the
beasts of the earth.
19-82:5 They
know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the
foundations of the earth are
out of course.
19-82:8 Arise,
O God, judge the earth: for
thou shalt inherit all nations.
19-83:10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
19-83:18 That
men may know that thou, whose name
alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
19-85:11 Truth
shall spring out of the earth; and
righteousness shall look down from heaven.
19-89:11 The
heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the
world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
19-89:27 Also
I will make him my firstborn, higher
than the kings of the earth.
19-90:2 Before
the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from
everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
19-94:2 Lift
up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
19-95:4 In
his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
19-96:1 O
sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.
19-96:9 O
worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
19-96:11 Let
the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness
thereof.
19-96:13 Before
the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and
the people with his truth.
19-97:1 The
LORD reigneth; let the earth
rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
19-97:4 His
lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
19-97:5 The
hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord
of the whole earth.
19-97:9 For
thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above
all gods.
19-98:3 He
hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of
19-98:4 Make
a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
19-98:9 Before
the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and
the people with equity.
19-99:1 The
LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
19-102:15 So
the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
19-102:19 For
he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD
behold the earth;
19-102:25 Of
old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
19-103:11 For
as the heaven is high above the earth, so great
is his mercy toward them that fear him.
19-104:5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
19-104:9 Thou
hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover
the earth.
19-104:13 He
watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
19-104:14 He
causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that
he may bring forth food out of the earth;
19-104:24 O
LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
19-104:30 Thou
sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
19-104:32 He
looketh on the earth, and
it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
19-104:35 Let
the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the
LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
19-105:7 He
is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
19-106:17 The
earth opened and swallowed up
Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
19-108:5 Be
thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
19-109:15 Let
them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them
from the earth.
19-112:2 His
seed shall be mighty upon earth: the
generation of the upright shall be blessed.
19-113:6 Who
humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in
the earth!
19-114:7 Tremble,
thou earth, at
the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
19-115:15 Ye
are blessed of the LORD which made
heaven and earth.
19-115:16 The
heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children
of men.
19-119:19 I
am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments
from me.
19-119:64 The
earth, O LORD, is full of thy
mercy: teach me thy statutes.
19-119:87 They
had almost consumed me upon earth; but I
forsook not thy precepts.
19-119:90 Thy
faithfulness is unto all generations:
thou hast established the earth, and
it abideth.
19-119:119 Thou
puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross:
therefore I love thy testimonies.
19-121:2 My
help cometh from the LORD, which made
heaven and earth.
19-124:8 Our
help is in the name of the LORD, who
made heaven and earth.
19-134:3 The
LORD that made heaven and earth bless
thee out of
19-135:6 Whatsoever
the LORD pleased, that did he in
heaven, and in earth, in
the seas, and all deep places.
19-135:7 He
causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth
the wind out of his treasuries.
19-136:6 To
him that stretched out the earth above
the waters: for his mercy endureth for
ever.
19-138:4 All
the kings of the earth shall
praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
19-139:15 My
substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest
parts of the earth.
19-140:11 Let
not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
19-141:7 Our
bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.
19-146:4 His
breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
19-146:6 Which
made heaven, and earth, the
sea, and all that therein is: which
keepeth truth for ever:
19-147:8 Who
covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow
upon the mountains.
19-147:15 He
sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very
swiftly.
19-148:7 Praise
the LORD from the earth, ye
dragons, and all deeps:
19-148:11 Kings
of the earth, and
all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
19-148:13 Let
them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
20-2:22 But
the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
20-3:19 The
LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the
heavens.
20-8:16 By
me princes rule, and nobles, even all
the judges of the earth.
20-8:23 I
was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
20-8:26 While
as yet he had not made the earth, nor
the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
20-8:29 When
he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment:
when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
20-8:31 Rejoicing
in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.
20-10:30 The
righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.
20-11:31 Behold,
the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.
20-17:24 Wisdom
is before him that hath
understanding; but the eyes of a fool are
in the ends of the earth.
20-25:3 The
heaven for height, and the earth for
depth, and the heart of kings is unsearchable.
20-30:4 Who
hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his
fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the
ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?
20-30:14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off
the earth, and
the needy from among men.
20-30:16 The
grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is
not filled with water; and the fire that saith
not, It is enough.
20-30:21 For
three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear:
20-30:24 There
be four things which are little upon
the earth, but
they are exceeding wise:
21-1:4 One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.
21-3:21 Who
knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth
downward to the earth?
21-5:2 Be
not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be
few.
21-5:9 Moreover
the profit of the earth is for
all: the king himself is served by
the field.
21-7:20 For
there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth
not.
21-8:14 There
is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there be just men, unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked;
again, there be wicked men, to whom
it happeneth according to the work of the righteous: I said that this also is vanity.
21-8:16 When
I applied mine heart to know wisdom, and to see the business that is done upon
the earth: (for
also there is that neither day nor
night seeth sleep with his eyes:)
21-10:7 I
have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
21-11:2 Give
a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be
upon the earth.
21-11:3 If
the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves
upon the earth: and
if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the
tree falleth, there it shall be.
21-12:7 Then
shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God
who gave it.
22-2:12 The flowers
appear on the earth; the
time of the singing of birds is come,
and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
23-1:2 Hear,
O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for
the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have
rebelled against me.
23-2:19 And
they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and
for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
23-2:21 To
go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for
fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake
terribly the earth.
23-4:2 In
that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit
of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them
that are escaped of
23-5:8 Woe
unto them that join house to house, that lay
field to field, till there be no
place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!
23-5:26 And
he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from
the end of the earth: and,
behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:
23-6:3 And
one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full
of his glory.
23-8:22 And
they shall look unto the earth; and
behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.
23-10:14 And
my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth
eggs that are left, have I gathered
all the earth; and
there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
23-11:4 But
with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the
meek of the earth: and
he shall smite the earth with
the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
23-11:9 They
shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the
knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
23-11:12 And
he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of
23-12:5 Sing
unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
23-13:13 Therefore
I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of
the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
23-14:7 The
whole earth is at
rest, and is quiet: they break forth
into singing.
23-14:9 Hell
from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee
at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the
kings of the nations.
23-14:16 They
that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is
this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
23-14:26 This
is the purpose that is purposed upon
the whole earth: and
this is the hand that is stretched
out upon all the nations.
23-18:3 All
ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains;
and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.
23-18:6 They
shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of
the earth: and the
fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
23-23:8 Who
hath taken this counsel against
23-23:9 The
LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the
honourable of the earth.
23-23:17 And
it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre,
and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the
kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.
23-24:1 Behold,
the LORD maketh the earth empty,
and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the
inhabitants thereof.
23-24:4 The
earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
23-24:5 The
earth also is defiled under the
inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the
ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
23-24:6 Therefore
hath the curse devoured the earth, and
they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
23-24:16 From
the uttermost part of the earth have
we heard songs, even glory to the
righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous
dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very
treacherously.
23-24:17 Fear,
and the pit, and the snare, are upon
thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
23-24:18 And
it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth
from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out
of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on
high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
23-24:19 The
earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
23-24:20 The
earth shall reel to and fro like a
drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof
shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
23-24:21 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the
LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that
are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
23-25:8 He
will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off
all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
23-26:9 With
my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I
seek thee early: for when thy judgments are
in the earth, the
inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
23-26:15 Thou
hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art
glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
23-26:18 We
have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth
wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world
fallen.
23-26:19 Thy
dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they
arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
23-26:21 For,
behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood,
and shall no more cover her slain.
23-28:2 Behold,
the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which
as a tempest of hail and a
destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to
the earth with
the hand.
23-28:22 Now
therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard
from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
23-30:23 Then
shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and
bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day
shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.
23-33:9 The
earth mourneth and languisheth:
23-34:1 Come
near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein;
the world, and all things that come forth of it.
23-37:16 O
LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between
the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of
the earth: thou
hast made heaven and earth.
23-37:20 Now
therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only.
23-40:12 Who
hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with
the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in
scales, and the hills in a balance?
23-40:21 Have
ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning?
have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?
23-40:22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of
the earth, and
the inhabitants thereof are as
grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them
out as a tent to dwell in:
23-40:23 That
bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
23-40:24 Yea,
they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not
take root in the earth: and
he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall
take them away as stubble.
23-40:28 Hast
thou not known? hast thou not heard, that
the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is
weary? there is no searching of his
understanding.
23-41:5 The
isles saw it, and feared; the ends of
the earth were
afraid, drew near, and came.
23-41:9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of
the earth, and
called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and
not cast thee away.
23-42:4 He
shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for
his law.
23-42:5 Thus
saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he
that spread forth the earth, and
that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and
spirit to them that walk therein:
23-42:10 Sing
unto the LORD a new song, and his
praise from the end of the earth, ye
that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the
inhabitants thereof.
23-43:6 I
will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons
from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
23-44:23 Sing,
O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout,
ye lower parts of the earth: break
forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the
LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in
23-44:24 Thus
saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the
heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
23-45:8 Drop
down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let
the earth open,
and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I
the LORD have created it.
23-45:9 Woe
unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let
the potsherd strive with the
potsherds of the earth. Shall
the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath
no hands?
23-45:12 I
have made the earth, and
created man upon it: I, even my
hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
23-45:18 For
thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established
it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
23-45:19 I
have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in
vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
23-45:22 Look
unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God,
and there is none else.
23-48:13 Mine
hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up
together.
23-48:20 Go
ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing
declare ye, tell this, utter it even to
the end of the earth; say
ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob.
23-49:6 And
he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the
tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of
23-49:8 Thus
saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of
salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a
covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
23-49:13 Sing,
O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and
break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people,
and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
23-49:23 And
kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they
shall bow down to thee with their face
toward the earth, and
lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.
23-51:6 Lift
up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like
smoke, and the earth shall
wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner:
but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be
abolished.
23-51:13 And
forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid
the foundations of the earth; and
hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if
he were ready to destroy? and where is the
fury of the oppressor?
23-51:16 And
I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine
hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
23-52:10 The
LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the
ends of the earth shall
see the salvation of our God.
23-54:5 For
thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD
of hosts is his name; and thy
Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
23-54:9 For
this is as the waters of Noah unto
me: for as I have sworn that the
waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with
thee, nor rebuke thee.
23-55:9 For
as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than
your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
23-55:10 For
as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither,
but watereth the earth, and
maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to
the eater:
23-58:14 Then
shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the
high places of the earth, and
feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath
spoken it.
23-60:2 For,
behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD
shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
23-61:11 For
as the earth
bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in
it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to
spring forth before all the nations.
23-62:7 And
give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make
23-63:6 And
I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and
I will bring down their strength to the earth.
23-65:16 That
he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he
that sweareth in the earth shall
swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and
because they are hid from mine eyes.
23-65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be
remembered, nor come into mind.
23-66:1 Thus
saith the LORD, The heaven is my
throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and
where is the place of my rest?
23-66:8 Who
hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one
day? or shall a nation be born at
once? for as soon as
23-66:22 For
as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith
the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
24-4:23 I
beheld the earth, and,
lo, it was without form, and void;
and the heavens, and they had no
light.
24-4:28 For
this shall the earth mourn,
and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and
will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.
24-6:19 Hear,
O earth: behold, I will bring evil
upon this people, even the fruit of
their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law,
but rejected it.
24-6:22 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, a people cometh from the north country, and a great
nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth.
24-7:33 And
the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for
the beasts of the earth; and
none shall fray them away.
24-8:2 And
they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of
heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they
have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they
shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of
the earth.
24-9:3 And
they bend their tongues like their
bow for lies: but they are not
valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they
know not me, saith the LORD.
24-9:24 But
let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that
I am the LORD which exercise
lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things
I delight, saith the LORD.
24-10:10 But
the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting
king: at his wrath the earth shall
tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
24-10:11 Thus
shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
24-10:12 He
hath made the earth by his
power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the
heavens by his discretion.
24-10:13 When
he uttereth his voice, there is a
multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from
the ends of the earth; he maketh
lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
24-14:4 Because
the ground is chapt, for there was no rain in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their
heads.
24-15:3 And
I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the
dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.
24-15:4 And
I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son
of Hezekiah king of
24-15:10 Woe
is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of
contention to the whole earth! I
have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse me.
24-16:4 They
shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be
buried; but they shall be as dung
upon the face of the earth: and
they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be
meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
24-16:19 O
LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the
Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited
lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
24-17:13 O
LORD, the hope of
24-19:7 And
I will make void the counsel of
24-22:29 O
earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.
24-23:5 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch,
and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in
the earth.
24-23:24 Can
any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do
not I fill heaven and earth? saith
the LORD.
24-24:9 And
I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a
reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall
drive them.
24-25:26 And
all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the
kingdoms of the world, which are upon
the face of the earth: and
the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
24-25:29 For,
lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye
be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword
upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.
24-25:30 Therefore
prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall
roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall
mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants
of the earth.
24-25:31 A
noise shall come even to the ends of
the earth; for
the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he
will give them that are wicked to the
sword, saith the LORD.
24-25:32 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and
a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
24-25:33 And
the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even
unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented,
neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.
24-26:6 Then
will I make this house like
24-27:5 I
have made the earth, the
man and the beast that are upon the
ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto
whom it seemed meet unto me.
24-28:16 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die,
because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.
24-29:18 And
I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence,
and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an
astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I
have driven them:
24-31:8 Behold,
I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of
the earth, and with them the blind and the lame,
the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company
shall return thither.
24-31:22 How
long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created
a new thing in the earth, A
woman shall compass a man.
24-31:37 Thus
saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will
also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the
LORD.
24-32:17 Ah
Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
24-33:9 And
it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations
of the earth, which
shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble
for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
24-33:25 Thus
saith the LORD; If my covenant be not
with day and night, and if I have not
appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
24-34:1 The
word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of
Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought
against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying,
24-34:17 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty,
every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a
liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the
famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
24-34:20 I
will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them
that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of
the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.
24-44:8 In
that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense
unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye
might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all
the nations of the earth?
24-46:8
24-49:21 The
earth is moved at the noise of
their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the
24-50:23 How
is the hammer of the whole earth cut
asunder and broken! how is
24-50:41 Behold,
a people shall come from the north, and a great nation, and many kings shall be
raised up from the coasts of the earth.
24-50:46 At
the noise of the taking of
24-51:7
24-51:15 He
hath made the earth by his
power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the
heaven by his understanding.
24-51:16 When
he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the
heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with
rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
24-51:25 Behold,
I am against thee, O destroying
mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and
roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.
24-51:41 How
is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the whole earth surprised! how is
24-51:48 Then
the heaven and the earth, and
all that is therein, shall sing for
24-51:49 As
25-2:1 How
hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and
remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!
25-2:11 Mine
eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the
daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the
streets of the city.
25-2:15 All
that pass by clap their hands at
thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of
25-3:34 To
crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth,
25-4:12 The
kings of the earth, and
all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary
and the enemy should have entered into the gates of
26-1:15 Now
as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with
his four faces.
26-1:19 And
when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living
creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
26-1:21 When
those went, these went; and when
those stood, these stood; and when
those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for
the spirit of the living creature was in
the wheels.
26-7:21 And
I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of
the earth for a
spoil; and they shall pollute it.
26-8:3 And
he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the
spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of
God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north;
where was the seat of the image of
jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.
26-8:12 Then
said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of
26-9:9 Then
said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of
26-10:16 And
when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted
up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside
them.
26-10:19 And
the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went
out, the wheels also were beside
them, and every one stood at the door
of the east gate of the LORD’S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
26-26:20 When
I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of
old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go
down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land
of the living;
26-27:33 When
thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst
enrich the kings of the earth with
the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.
26-28:18 Thou
hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the
iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of
thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that
behold thee.
26-31:12 And
strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him:
upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his
boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow,
and have left him.
26-31:14 To
the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their
height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees
stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto
death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them
that go down to the pit.
26-31:16 I
made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to
hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of
26-31:18 To
whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of
26-32:4 Then
will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field,
and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon thee, and I will fill
the beasts of the whole earth with
thee.
26-32:18 Son
of man, wail for the multitude of
26-32:24 There
is Elam and all her multitude round
about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down
uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the
living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.
26-34:6 My
sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my
flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.
26-34:27 And
the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe
in their land, and shall know that I am the
LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the
hand of those that served themselves of them.
26-35:14 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.
26-38:20 So
that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the
field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains
shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall
fall to the ground.
26-39:14 And
they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to
bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end
of seven months shall they search.
26-39:18 Ye
shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of
goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of
26-43:2 And,
behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was
like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with
his glory.
27-2:10 The
Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king’s
matter: therefore there is no king,
lord, nor ruler, that asked such
things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.
27-2:35 Then
was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces
together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind
carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote
the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
27-2:39 And
after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third
kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
27-4:1 Nebuchadnezzar
the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto
you.
27-4:10 Thus
were the visions of mine head in my
bed; I saw, and behold, a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great.
27-4:11 The
tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the
sight thereof to the end of all the earth:
27-4:15 Nevertheless
leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the
tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth:
27-4:20 The
tree that thou sawest, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached unto
the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the earth;
27-4:22 It
is thou, O king, that art grown and
become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy
dominion to the end of the earth.
27-4:23 And
whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and
saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots
thereof in the earth, even
with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be
wet with the dew of heaven, and let his
portion be with the beasts of the
field, till seven times pass over him;
27-4:35 And
all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth
according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him,
What doest thou?
27-6:25 Then
king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all
the earth; Peace
be multiplied unto you.
27-6:27 He
delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel
from the power of the lions.
27-7:4 The
first was like a lion, and had
eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted
up from the earth, and
made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.
27-7:17 These
great beasts, which are four, are four
kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
27-7:23 Thus
he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from
all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
27-8:5 And
as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the
whole earth, and
touched not the ground: and the goat had a
notable horn between his eyes.
27-12:2 And
many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some
to shame and everlasting contempt.
28-2:18 And
in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and
with the fowls of heaven, and with the
creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the
battle out of the earth, and
will make them to lie down safely.
28-2:21 And
it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the
heavens, and they shall hear the earth;
28-2:22 And
the earth shall
hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.
28-2:23 And
I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not
obtained mercy; and I will say to them
which were not my people, Thou art my
people; and they shall say, Thou art my
God.
28-6:3 Then
shall we know, if we follow on to
know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come
unto us as the rain, as the latter and former
rain unto the earth.
29-2:10 The
earth shall quake before them; the heavens
shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw
their shining:
29-2:30 And
I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
29-3:16 The
LORD also shall roar out of
30-2:7 That
pant after the dust of the earth on the
head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father
will go in unto the same maid, to
profane my holy name:
30-3:2 You
only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your
iniquities.
30-3:5 Can
a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is
for him? shall one take up a snare
from the earth, and
have taken nothing at all?
30-4:13 For,
lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto
man what is his thought, that maketh
the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.
30-5:7 Ye
who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,
30-5:8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and
Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day
dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out
upon the face of the earth: The
LORD is his name:
30-8:9 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the
sun to go down at
30-9:6 It is he that buildeth his stories in
the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and
poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is
his name.
30-9:8 Behold,
the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the
sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly
destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.
30-9:9 For,
lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like
as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet
shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.
32-2:6 I
went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was
about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD
my God.
33-1:2 Hear,
all ye people; hearken, O earth, and
all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from
his holy temple.
33-1:3 For,
behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon
the high places of the earth.
33-4:13 Arise
and thresh, O daughter of
33-5:4 And
he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name
of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the
ends of the earth.
33-6:2 Hear
ye, O mountains, the LORD’S controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a
controversy with his people, and he will plead with
33-7:2 The
good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood;
they hunt every man his brother with a net.
33-7:17 They
shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like
worms of the earth: they
shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.
34-1:5 The
mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and
all that dwell therein.
34-2:13 Behold,
I am against thee, saith the LORD of
hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour
thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be
heard.
35-2:14 For
the earth shall
be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
35-2:20 But
the LORD is in his holy temple: let
all the earth keep
silence before him.
35-3:3 God
came from Teman, and the Holy One from
35-3:6 He
stood, and measured the earth: he
beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were
scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.
35-3:9 Thy
bow was made quite naked, according to
the oaths of the tribes, even thy word.
Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
36-2:3 Seek
ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek
righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the
LORD’S anger.
36-2:11 The
LORD will be terrible unto them: for
he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall
worship him, every one from his place, even
all the isles of the heathen.
36-3:8 Therefore
wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for
my determination is to gather the
nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the
fire of my jealousy.
36-3:20 At
that time will I bring you again, even
in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all
people of the earth, when
I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.
37-1:10 Therefore
the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from
her fruit.
37-2:6 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is
a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
37-2:21 Speak
to Zerubbabel, governor of
38-1:10 And
the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk
to and fro through the earth.
38-1:11 And
they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and
said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.
38-4:10 For
who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall
see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with
those seven; they are the eyes of
the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
38-4:14 Then
said he, These are the two anointed
ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
38-5:3 Then
said he unto me, This is the curse
that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and
every one that sweareth shall be cut off as
on that side according to it.
38-5:6 And
I said, What is it? And he said, This
is an ephah that goeth forth. He said
moreover, This is their resemblance
through all the earth.
38-5:9 Then
lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and
the wind was in their wings; for they
had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
38-6:5 And
the angel answered and said unto me, These are
the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the
Lord of all the earth.
38-6:7 And
the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through
the earth: and
he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.
38-9:10 And
I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from
38-12:1 The
burden of the word of the LORD for
38-12:3 And
in that day will I make
38-14:9 And
the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his
name one.
38-14:17 And
it shall be, that whoso will not come
up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the
King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
39-4:6 And
he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the
children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
40-5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the
earth.
40-5:13 Ye are
the salt of the earth: but
if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is
thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot
of men.
40-5:18 For
verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass
from the law, till all be fulfilled.
40-5:35 Nor by
the earth; for
it is his footstool: neither by
40-6:10 Thy
kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in
heaven.
40-6:19 Lay not
up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where
thieves break through and steal:
40-9:6 But that
ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of
the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
40-10:34 Think not
that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
40-11:25 At that
time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these
things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
40-12:40 For as
Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of
man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
40-12:42 The queen
of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall
condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of
Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
40-13:5 Some fell
upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had
no deepness of earth:
40-16:19 And I will
give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt
bind on earth shall
be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
40-17:25 He saith,
Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What
thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or
of strangers?
40-18:18 Verily I
say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall
loose on earth shall
be loosed in heaven.
40-18:19 Again I
say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it
shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
40-23:9 And call
no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father,
which is in heaven.
40-23:35 That upon
you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood
of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
40-24:30 And then
shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the
tribes of the earth mourn,
and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and
great glory.
40-24:35 Heaven and
earth shall pass away, but my words
shall not pass away.
40-25:18 But he
that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.
40-25:25 And I was
afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou
hast that is thine.
40-27:51 And,
behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom;
and the earth did
quake, and the rocks rent;
40-28:18 And Jesus
came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
41-2:10 But that
ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the
palsy,)
41-4:5 And some
fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no
depth of earth:
41-4:28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of
herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
41-4:31 It is like a grain of mustard seed,
which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
41-9:3 And his
raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
41-13:27 And then
shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four
winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
41-13:31 Heaven and
earth shall pass away: but my words
shall not pass away.
42-2:14 Glory to
God in the highest, and on earth peace,
good will toward men.
42-5:24 But that
ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the
palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
42-6:49 But he
that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an
house upon the earth;
against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the
ruin of that house was great.
42-10:21 In that
hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven
and earth, that
thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them
unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
42-11:2 And he
said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be
thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
42-11:31 The queen
of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and
condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a
greater than Solomon is here.
42-12:49 I am come
to send fire on the earth; and
what will I, if it be already kindled?
42-12:51 Suppose ye
that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
42-12:56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face
of the sky and of the earth; but
how is it that ye do not discern this time?
42-16:17 And it is
easier for heaven and earth to
pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
42-18:8 I tell
you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh,
shall he find faith on the earth?
42-21:25 And there
shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with
perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
42-21:26 Men’s
hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are
coming on the earth: for
the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
42-21:33 Heaven and
earth shall pass away: but my words
shall not pass away.
42-21:35 For as a
snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
42-23:44 And it was
about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
42-24:5 And as
they were afraid, and bowed down their faces
to the earth, they
said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
43-3:31 He that cometh
from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven
is above all.
43-12:32 And I, if
I be lifted up from the earth, will
draw all men unto me.
43-17:4 I have
glorified thee on the earth: I
have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
44-1:8 But ye
shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall
be witnesses unto me both in
44-2:19 And I
will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
44-3:25 Ye are
the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our
fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
44-4:24 And when
they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said,
Lord, thou art God, which hast made
heaven, and earth, and
the sea, and all that in them is:
44-4:26 The kings
of the earth stood
up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his
Christ.
44-7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or
what is the place of my rest?
44-8:33 In his
humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation?
for his life is taken from the earth.
44-9:4 And he
fell to the earth, and
heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
44-9:8 And Saul
arose from the earth; and
when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and
brought him into
44-10:11 And saw heaven
opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet
knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
44-10:12 Wherein
were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls
of the air.
44-11:6 Upon the
which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of
the earth, and
wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
44-13:47 For so
hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I
have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for
salvation unto the ends of the earth.
44-14:15 And
saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with
you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the
living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
44-17:24 God that made
the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made
with hands;
44-17:26 And hath
made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the
times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
44-22:22 And they
gave him audience unto this word, and then
lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth: for
it is not fit that he should live.
44-26:14 And when
we were all fallen to the earth, I
heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul,
why persecutest thou me? it is hard
for thee to kick against the pricks.
45-9:17 For the
scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up,
that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared
throughout all the earth.
45-9:28 For he
will finish the work, and cut it short
in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
45-10:18 But I say,
Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the
ends of the world.
46-8:5 For
though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords
many,)
46-10:26 For
the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.
46-10:28 But
if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for
his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:
46-15:47 The
first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
49-1:10 That in
the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all
things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
49-3:15 Of whom
the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
49-4:9 (Now
that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower
parts of the earth?
49-6:3 That it
may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
50-2:10 That at
the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things
in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
51-1:16 For by
him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible,
whether they be thrones, or
dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and
for him:
51-1:20 And,
having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all
things unto himself; by him, I say, whether
they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
51-3:2 Set your
affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
51-3:5 Mortify
therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection,
evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
55-2:20 But in a
great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood
and of earth; and
some to honour, and some to dishonour.
58-1:10 And,
Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the
works of thine hands:
58-6:7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain
that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is
dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
58-8:4 For if
he were on earth, he
should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts
according to the law:
58-11:13 These all
died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off,
and were persuaded of them, and
embraced them, and confessed that
they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
58-11:38 (Of whom
the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens
and caves of the earth.
58-12:25 See that
ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that
spake on earth, much
more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
58-12:26 Whose
voice then shook the earth: but
now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
59-5:5 Ye have
lived in pleasure on the earth, and
been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
59-5:7 Be
patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the
husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive
the early and latter rain.
59-5:12 But above
all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath:
but let your yea be yea; and your nay,
nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
59-5:17 Elias was
a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might
not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
59-5:18 And he
prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
61-3:5 For this
they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of
old, and the earth
standing out of the water and in the water:
61-3:7 But the
heavens and the earth, which
are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day
of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
61-3:10 But the
day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens
shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent
heat, the earth also
and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
61-3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his
promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
62-5:8 And
there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and
these three agree in one.
66-1:5 And from
Jesus Christ, who is the faithful
witness, and the first begotten of
the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our
sins in his own blood,
66-1:7 Behold,
he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds
of the earth shall
wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
66-3:10 Because
thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of
temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon
the earth.
66-5:3 And no
man in heaven, nor in earth,
neither under the earth, was
able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
66-5:6 And I
beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the
midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and
seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
66-5:10 And hast
made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
66-5:13 And every
creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in
them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the
throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
66-6:4 And
there went out another horse that was red:
and power was given to him that sat
thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there
was given unto him a great sword.
66-6:8 And I
looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and
Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of
the earth, to
kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
66-6:10 And they
cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not
judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
66-6:13 And the
stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs,
when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
66-6:15 And the
kings of the earth, and
the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men,
and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the
rocks of the mountains;
66-7:1 And
after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of
the earth, that
the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
66-7:2 And I
saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God:
and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt
the earth and
the sea,
66-7:3 Saying,
Hurt not the earth,
neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in
their foreheads.
66-8:5 And the
angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and
lightnings, and an earthquake.
66-8:7 The
first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and
they were cast upon the earth: and
the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
66-8:13 And I
beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a
loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of
the three angels, which are yet to sound!
66-9:1 And the
fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key
of the bottomless pit.
66-9:3 And there
came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions
of the earth have
power.
66-9:4 And it
was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing,
neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their
foreheads.
66-10:2 And he
had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and
his left foot on the earth,
66-10:5 And the angel
which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
66-10:6 And sware
by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that
therein are, and the earth, and
the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein,
that there should be time no longer:
66-10:8 And the
voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open
in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
66-11:4 These are
the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
66-11:6 These have
power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have
power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as
they will.
66-11:10 And they
that dwell upon the earth shall
rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because
these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
66-11:18 And the
nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they
should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the
prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and
shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
66-12:4 And his
tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before
the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as
it was born.
66-12:9 And the
great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which
deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
66-12:12 Therefore
rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that
dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto
you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
66-12:13 And when
the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the
man child.
66-12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood
which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
66-13:8 And all
that dwell upon the earth shall
worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain
from the foundation of the world.
66-13:11 And I beheld
another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake
as a dragon.
66-13:12 And he
exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein
to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
66-13:13 And he
doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
66-13:14 And
deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the
means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;
saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast,
which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
66-14:3 And they
sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and
the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
66-14:6 And I saw
another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to
preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue,
and people,
66-14:7 Saying
with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his
judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
66-14:15 And
another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat
on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to
reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
66-14:16 And he
that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
66-14:18 And
another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried
with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp
sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
66-14:19 And the
angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath
of God.
66-16:1 And I
heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways,
and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
66-16:2 And the
first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon
the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
66-16:14 For they
are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the
battle of that great day of God Almighty.
66-16:18 And there
were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake,
such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
66-17:2 With whom
the kings of the earth have
committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her
fornication.
66-17:5 And upon
her forehead was a name written,
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
66-17:8 The beast
that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit,
and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the
book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that
was, and is not, and yet is.
66-17:18 And the
woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of
the earth.
66-18:1 And after
these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and
the earth was
lightened with his glory.
66-18:3 For all
nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings
of the earth have
committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the
abundance of her delicacies.
66-18:9 And the
kings of the earth, who
have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her,
and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
66-18:11 And the
merchants of the earth shall
weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
66-18:23 And the
light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the
bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy
merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
66-18:24 And in her
was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon
the earth.
66-19:2 For true
and righteous are his judgments: for
he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood
of his servants at her hand.
66-19:19 And I saw
the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war
against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
66-20:8 And shall
go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather
them together to battle: the number of whom is
as the sand of the sea.
66-20:9 And they
went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and
the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
66-20:11 And I saw
a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and
there was found no place for them.
66-21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the
first earth were
passed away; and there was no more sea.
66-21:24 And the
nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of
the earth do
bring their glory and honour into it.
