01-GENESIS
01-9:11 And
I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither
shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
01-17:14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his
foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut
off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
02-4:25 Then
Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the
foreskin of her son, and cast it at
his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art
thou to me.
02-9:15 For
now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with
pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the
earth.
02-12:15 Seven
days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven
out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day
until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut
off from Israel.
02-12:19 Seven
days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that
which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut
off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the
land.
02-23:23 For
mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the
Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:
and I will cut them off.
02-29:17 And
thou shalt cut the ram in pieces, and wash the
inwards of him, and his legs, and put them
unto his pieces, and unto his head.
02-30:33 Whosoever
compoundeth any like it, or whosoever
putteth any of it upon a stranger,
shall even be cut off from his people.
02-30:38 Whosoever
shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.
02-31:14 Ye
shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is
holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for
whosoever doeth any work therein,
that soul shall be cut off from among his
people.
02-34:13 But
ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut
down their groves:
02-39:3 And
they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut
it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and
in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with
cunning work.
03-1:6 And
he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it
into his pieces.
03-1:12 And
he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head
and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:
03-7:20 But
the soul that eateth of the flesh of
the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain
unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
03-7:21 Moreover
the soul that shall touch any unclean thing,
as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean
beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and
eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul
shall be cut off from his people.
03-7:25 For
whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by
fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
03-7:27 Whatsoever
soul it be that eateth any manner of
blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his
people.
03-8:20 And
he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burnt the head,
and the pieces, and the fat.
03-17:4 And
bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer
an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be
imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
03-17:9 And
bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer
it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off
from among his people.
03-17:10 And
whatsoever man there be of the house of
Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of
blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
03-17:14 For
it is the life of all flesh; the
blood of it is for the life thereof:
therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no
manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is
the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut
off.
03-18:29 For
whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut
off from among their people.
03-19:8 Therefore
every one that eateth it shall bear
his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that
soul shall be cut off from among his people.
03-20:3 And
I will set my face against that man, and will cut
him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech,
to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
03-20:5 Then
I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to
commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.
03-20:6 And
the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards,
to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will
cut him off from among his people.
03-20:17 And
if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s
daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath
uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
03-20:18 And
if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her
nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain
of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off
from among their people.
03-22:3 Say
unto them, Whosoever he be of all
your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the
children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that
soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.
03-22:24 Ye
shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.
03-23:29 For
whatsoever soul it be that shall not
be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut
off from among his people.
03-26:30 And
I will destroy your high places, and cut down your
images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul
shall abhor you.
04-4:18 Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the
Kohathites from among the Levites:
04-9:13 But
the man that is clean, and is not in
a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not
the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
04-13:23 And
they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down
from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two
upon a staff; and they brought of the
pomegranates, and of the figs.
04-13:24 The
place was called the brook Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the
children of Israel cut down from thence.
04-15:30 But
the soul that doeth ought presumptuously,
whether he be born in the land, or a
stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
04-15:31 Because
he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that
soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.
04-19:13 Whosoever
toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself,
defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation
was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.
04-19:20 But
the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be
cut off from among the congregation, because he
hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been
sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.
05-7:5 But
thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down
their images, and cut down their groves, and
burn their graven images with fire.
05-12:29 When
the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from
before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and
dwellest in their land;
05-14:1 Ye
are the children of the LORD your
God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any
baldness between your eyes for the dead.
05-19:1 When
the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose
land the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in
their cities, and in their houses;
05-19:5 As
when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand
fetcheth a stroke with the ax to cut down the
tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour,
that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live:
05-20:19 When
thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it,
thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an ax against them: for
thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut
them down (for the tree of the field is man’s
life) to employ them in the siege:
05-20:20 Only
the trees which thou knowest that they be
not trees for meat, thou shalt destroy and cut
them down; and thou shalt build bulwarks against the city that maketh war with
thee, until it be subdued.
05-23:1 He
that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
05-25:12 Then
thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not
pity her.
06-3:13 And
it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that
bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters
of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan
shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand
upon an heap.
06-3:16 That
the waters which came down from above stood and
rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the
plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut
off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.
06-4:7 Then
ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut
off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the
waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones
shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.
06-7:9 For
the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do
unto thy great name?
06-11:21 And
at that time came Joshua, and cut off the
Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all
the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed
them utterly with their cities.
06-17:15 And
Joshua answered them, If thou be a
great people, then get thee up to the
wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the
Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.
06-17:18 But
the mountain shall be thine; for it is a
wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the
outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though
they have iron chariots, and though
they be strong.
06-23:4 Behold,
I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance
for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even unto the great sea westward.
07-1:6 But
Adonibezek fled; and they pursued after him, and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his great toes.
07-1:7 And
Adonibezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great
toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me.
And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.
07-6:25 And
it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father’s
young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the
altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down
the grove that is by it:
07-6:26 And
build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered
place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood
of the grove which thou shalt cut down.
07-6:28 And
when the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal
was cast down, and the grove was cut down that was by it, and the second bullock was
offered upon the altar that was built.
07-6:30 Then
the men of the city said unto Joash, Bring out thy son, that he may die:
because he hath cast down the altar of Baal, and because he hath cut down the grove that was by it.
07-9:48 And
Abimelech gat him up to mount Zalmon, he and all the people that were with him; and Abimelech took an ax
in his hand, and cut down a bough from the
trees, and took it, and laid it on
his shoulder, and said unto the people that were
with him, What ye have seen me do, make haste, and do as I have done.
07-9:49 And
all the people likewise cut down every man his
bough, and followed Abimelech, and put them
to the hold, and set the hold on fire upon them; so that all the men of the
tower of Shechem died also, about a thousand men and women.
07-20:6 And
I took my concubine, and cut her in pieces, and
sent her throughout all the country of the inheritance of Israel: for they have
committed lewdness and folly in Israel.
07-21:6 And
the children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said, There
is one tribe cut off from Israel this day.
08-4:10 Moreover
Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to
raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead
be not cut off from among his brethren, and from
the gate of his place: ye are witnesses
this day.
09-2:31 Behold,
the days come, that I will cut off thine arm,
and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine
house.
09-2:33 And
the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all
the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.
09-5:4 And
when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD;
and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold;
only the stump of Dagon was left to
him.
09-17:51 Therefore
David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out
of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off
his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they
fled.
09-20:15 But
also thou shalt not cut off thy kindness from my house for ever: no, not
when the LORD hath cut off the enemies of David
every one from the face of the earth.
09-24:4 And
the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto
thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do
to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe privily.
09-24:5 And
it came to pass afterward, that David’s heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul’s skirt.
09-24:11 Moreover,
my father, see, yea, see the skirt of thy robe in my hand: for in that I cut off the skirt of thy robe, and killed thee not,
know thou and see that there is neither
evil nor transgression in mine hand, and I have not sinned against thee; yet
thou huntest my soul to take it.
09-24:21 Swear
now therefore unto me by the LORD, that thou wilt not cut
off my seed after me, and that thou wilt not destroy my name out of my father’s
house.
09-28:9 And
the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the
wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to
cause me to die?
09-31:9 And
they cut off his head, and stripped off his
armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to publish it in the house of their idols, and
among the people.
10-4:12 And
David commanded his young men, and they slew them, and cut
off their hands and their feet, and hanged them
up over the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth, and
buried it in the sepulchre of Abner
in Hebron.
10-7:9 And
I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut
off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like
unto the name of the great men that are in the earth.
10-10:4 Wherefore
Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved off the one half of their beards, and cut off their garments in the middle, even to their buttocks, and sent them
away.
10-20:22 Then
the woman went unto all the people in her wisdom. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri, and cast it out to Joab. And he blew a trumpet,
and they retired from the city, every man to his tent. And Joab returned to
Jerusalem unto the king.
11-9:7 Then
will I cut off Israel out of the land which I
have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast
out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:
11-11:16 (For
six months did Joab remain there with all Israel, until he had cut off every male in Edom:)
11-13:34 And
this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off,
and to destroy it from off the face
of the earth.
11-14:10 Therefore,
behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the
wall, and him that is shut up and
left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a
man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.
11-14:14 Moreover
the LORD shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but what? even
now.
11-18:4 For
it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an
hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and
water.)
11-18:23 Let
them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for
themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other
bullock, and lay it on wood, and put
no fire under:
11-18:28 And
they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their
manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.
11-18:33 And
he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in
pieces, and laid him on the wood, and
said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood.
11-21:21 Behold,
I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall,
and him that is shut up and left in Israel,
12-6:4 So
he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut
down wood.
12-6:6 And
the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.
12-9:8 For
the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut
off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and
left in Israel:
12-10:32 In
those days the LORD began to cut Israel short:
and Hazael smote them in all the coasts of Israel;
12-16:17 And
king Ahaz cut off the borders of the bases, and
removed the laver from off them; and took down the sea from off the brasen oxen
that were under it, and put it upon a
pavement of stones.
12-18:4 He
removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut
down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made:
for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he
called it Nehushtan.
12-18:16 At
that time did Hezekiah cut off the gold from the doors of the temple of
the LORD, and from the pillars which
Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria.
12-19:23 By
thy messengers thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude
of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of
Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees
thereof, and the choice fir trees
thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.
12-23:14 And
he brake in pieces the images, and cut down the
groves, and filled their places with the bones of men.
12-24:13 And
he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the
treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces
all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of
the LORD, as the LORD had said.
13-17:8 And
I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have
made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth.
13-19:4 Wherefore
Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved them, and cut
off their garments in the midst hard by their buttocks, and sent them away.
13-20:3 And
he brought out the people that were in
it, and cut them
with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David
with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people
returned to Jerusalem.
14-2:8 Send
me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know
that thy servants can skill to cut timber in
Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall
be with thy servants,
14-2:10 And,
behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut
timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures
of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.
14-2:16 And
we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou
shalt need: and we will bring it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa; and thou shalt
carry it up to Jerusalem.
14-14:3 For
he took away the altars of the strange gods,
and the high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves:
14-15:16 And
also concerning Maachah the mother of
Asa the king, he removed her from being queen,
because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa cut
down her idol, and stamped it, and
burnt it at the brook Kidron.
14-22:7 And
the destruction of Ahaziah was of God by coming to Joram: for when he was come,
he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had
anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.
14-26:21 And
Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several
house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: and Jotham his son
was over the king’s house, judging
the people of the land.
14-28:24 And
Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and
shut up the doors of the house of the LORD, and he made him altars in every
corner of Jerusalem.
14-31:1 Now
when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities
of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut
down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah
and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed
them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his
possession, into their own cities.
14-32:21 And
the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the
mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of
Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was
come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him
there with the sword.
14-34:4 And
they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images, that were on high above them, he cut down; and the groves, and the carved images, and
the molten images, he brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and strowed it upon
the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them.
14-34:7 And
when he had broken down the altars and the groves, and had beaten the graven
images into powder, and cut down all the idols
throughout all the land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.
18-4:7 Remember,
I pray thee, who ever perished, being
innocent? or where were the righteous cut off?
18-6:9 Even
that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!
18-8:12 Whilst
it is yet in his greenness, and not cut
down, it withereth before any other herb.
18-8:14 Whose
hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider’s web.
18-11:10 If
he cut off, and shut up, or gather together,
then who can hinder him?
18-14:2 He
cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth
also as a shadow, and continueth not.
18-14:7 For
there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that
it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
18-18:16 His
roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
18-21:21 For
what pleasure hath he in his house
after him, when the number of his months is cut
off in the midst?
18-22:16 Which
were cut down out of time, whose foundation was
overflown with a flood:
18-22:20 Whereas
our substance is not cut down, but the remnant
of them the fire consumeth.
18-23:17 Because
I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness
from my face.
18-24:24 They
are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out
of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
18-30:4 Who
cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat.
18-36:20 Desire
not the night, when people are cut off in their
place.
19-12:3 The
LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud
things:
19-31:22 For
I said in my haste, I am cut off from before
thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I
cried unto thee.
19-34:16 The
face of the LORD is against them that
do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from
the earth.
19-37:2 For
they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and
wither as the green herb.
19-37:9 For
evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon
the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
19-37:22 For
such as be blessed of him shall
inherit the earth; and they that be cursed
of him shall be cut off.
