they departed not from the commandment of the king unto the priests and Levites
concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.

behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they
shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye
shall be comforted concerning the evil that I
have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.

mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the
land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s
teeth are set on edge?
26-21:28 And
thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning
their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it

occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful,
neither was there any error or fault found in him.

said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we
find it against him concerning the law of his God.
27-6:12 Then
they came near, and spake before the king concerning
the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask
a petition of any God or man within
thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The
king answered and said, The thing is true,
according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.
27-6:17 And
a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it
with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might
not be changed concerning Daniel.
27-7:12 As
concerning the rest of the beasts, they had
their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and
time.
27-8:13 Then
I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of
desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
