01-GENESIS
01-4:14 Behold,
thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive
and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come
to pass, that every one that findeth
me shall slay me.
01-6:13 And
God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come
before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I
will destroy them with the earth.
01-6:18 But
with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come
into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
01-6:20 Of
fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing
of the earth after his kind, two of every sort
shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
01-7:1 And
the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy
house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this
generation.
01-9:14 And
it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over
the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
01-12:11 And
it came to pass, when he was come near to enter
into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his
wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a
fair woman to look upon:
01-12:12 Therefore
it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall
see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but
they will save thee alive.
01-12:14 And
it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into
Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair.
01-15:4 And,
behold, the word of the LORD came unto
him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine
heir.
01-15:14 And
also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they
come out with great substance.
01-15:16 But
in the fourth generation they shall come hither again:
for the iniquity of the Amorites is not
yet full.
01-17:6 And
I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings
shall come out of thee.
01-18:5 And
I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall
pass on: for therefore are ye come to your
servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
01-18:21 I
will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the
cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I
will know.
01-19:22 Haste
thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was
called Zoar.
01-19:31 And
the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not
a man in the earth to come in unto us after the
manner of all the earth:
01-19:32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will
lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
01-20:4 But
Abimelech had not come near her: and he said,
Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?
01-20:13 And
it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father’s house, that I
said unto her, This is thy kindness
which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother.
01-22:5 And
Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad
will go yonder and worship, and come again to
you.
01-24:13 Behold,
I stand here by the well of water;
and the daughters of the men of the city come
out to draw water:
01-24:14 And
let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I
shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall
say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou
hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast
shewed kindness unto my master.
01-24:31 And
he said, Come in, thou blessed of the LORD; wherefore
standest thou without? for I have prepared the house, and room for the camels.
01-24:43 Behold,
I stand by the well of water; and it shall come
to pass, that when the virgin cometh forth to draw water, and I say to her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water of
thy pitcher to drink;
01-26:27 And
Isaac said unto them, Wherefore come ye to me,
seeing ye hate me, and have sent me away from you?
01-27:21 And
Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee,
that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be
my very son Esau or not.
01-27:26 And
his father Isaac said unto him, Come near now,
and kiss me, my son.
01-27:40 And
by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that
thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.
01-28:21 So that I come
again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:
01-30:16 And
Jacob came out of the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and
said, Thou must come in unto me; for surely I
have hired thee with my son’s mandrakes. And he lay with her that night.
01-30:33 So
shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come,
when it shall come for my hire before thy face:
every one that is not speckled and
spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted
stolen with me.
01-31:44 Now
therefore come thou, let us make a covenant, I
and thou; and let it be for a witness between me and thee.
01-32:8 And
said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite
it, then the other company which is left shall escape.
01-32:11 Deliver
me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and
the mother with the children.
01-33:14 Let
my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly,
according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to
endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.
01-34:5 And
Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his
cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come.
01-35:11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a
company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come
out of thy loins;
01-35:16 And
they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had
hard labour.
01-37:10 And
he told it to his father, and to his brethren:
and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?
01-37:13 And
Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed the flock in Shechem? come, and I
will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I.
01-37:20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him
into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall
see what will become of his dreams.
01-37:23 And
it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his
brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours
that was on him;
01-37:27 Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not
our hand be upon him; for he is our
brother and our flesh. And his
brethren were content.
01-38:16 And
he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray thee, let me come in unto thee; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said,
What wilt thou give me, that thou mayest come in
unto me?
01-41:29 Behold, there come
seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:
01-41:35 And
let them gather all the food of those good years that come,
and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the
cities.
01-41:54 And
the seven years of dearth began to come,
according as Joseph had said: and the dearth was in all lands; but in all the
land of Egypt there was bread.
01-42:7 And
Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them,
and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy
food.
01-42:9 And
Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see the nakedness of the
land ye are come.
01-42:10 And
they said unto him, Nay, my lord, but to buy food are thy servants come.
01-42:12 And
he said unto them, Nay, but to see the nakedness of the land ye are come.
01-42:15 Hereby
ye shall be proved: By the life of Pharaoh ye shall not go forth hence, except
your youngest brother come hither.
01-42:21 And
they said one to another, We are verily
guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the anguish of his soul, when he
besought us, and we would not hear; therefore is this distress come upon us.
01-44:23 And
thou saidst unto thy servants, Except your youngest brother come down with you, ye shall see my face no more.
01-44:30 Now
therefore when I come to thy servant my father,
and the lad be not with us; seeing
that his life is bound up in the lad’s life;
01-44:31 It
shall come to pass, when he seeth that the lad is not with us, that he will die: and thy servants shall bring down the
gray hairs of thy servant our father with sorrow to the grave.
01-44:34 For
how shall I go up to my father, and the lad be
not with me? lest peradventure I see the evil that shall come on my father.
01-45:4 And
Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me,
I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
01-45:9 Haste
ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, Thus saith thy son Joseph, God
hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto
me, tarry not:
01-45:11 And
there will I nourish thee; for yet there
are five years of famine; lest thou, and thy household, and all that thou
hast, come to poverty.
01-45:16 And
the fame thereof was heard in Pharaoh’s house, saying, Joseph’s brethren are come: and it pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.
01-45:18 And
take your father and your households, and come
unto me: and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eat
the fat of the land.
01-45:19 Now
thou art commanded, this do ye; take you wagons out of the land of Egypt for
your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.
01-46:31 And
Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father’s house, I will go up, and
shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father’s house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;
01-46:33 And
it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call
you, and shall say, What is your
occupation?
01-47:1 Then
Joseph came and told Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brethren, and their flocks,
and their herds, and all that they have, are come
out of the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen.
01-47:4 They
said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks;
for the famine is sore in the land of
Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of
Goshen.
01-47:5 And
Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, saying, Thy father and thy brethren are come unto thee:
01-47:24 And
it shall come to pass in the increase, that ye
shall give the fifth part unto
Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your
food, and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.
01-48:7 And
as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in
the way, when yet there was but a
little way to come unto Ephrath: and I buried
her there in the way of Ephrath; the same is
Bethlehem.
01-49:6 O
my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto
their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a
man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.
01-49:10 The
sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet,
until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
01-50:5 My
father made me swear, saying, Lo, I die: in my grave which I have digged for me
in the land of Canaan, there shalt thou bury me. Now therefore let me go up, I
pray thee, and bury my father, and I will come
again.
02-1:10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they
multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there
falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and
so get them up out of the land.
02-1:19 And
the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them.
02-2:18 And
when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to
day?
02-3:8 And
I am come down to deliver them out of the hand
of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out
of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk
and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the
Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
02-3:9 Now
therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the
Egyptians oppress them.
02-3:10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh,
that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
02-3:13 And
Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them,
The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
02-3:18 And
they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come,
thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto
him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we
beseech thee, three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to
the LORD our God.
02-3:21 And
I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:
02-4:8 And
it shall come to pass, if they will not believe
thee, neither hearken to the voice of the
first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.
02-4:9 And
it shall come to pass, if they will not believe
also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of
the water of the river, and pour it upon
the dry land: and the water which
thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.
02-7:15 Get
thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou
shalt stand by the river’s brink against he come;
and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.
02-8:3 And
the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and
upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into
thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:
02-8:4 And
the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon
thy people, and upon all thy servants.
02-8:5 And
the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy
rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.
02-9:19 Send
therefore now, and gather thy cattle,
and all that thou hast in the field; for
upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not
be brought home, the hail shall come down upon
them, and they shall die.
02-10:12 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the
locusts, that they may come up upon the land of
Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even
all that the hail hath left.
02-10:26 Our
cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for
thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we
must serve the LORD, until we come thither.
02-11:8 And
all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and
bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that
follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a
great anger.
02-12:23 For
the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood
upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door,
and will not suffer the destroyer to come in
unto your houses to smite you.
02-12:25 And
it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you,
according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
02-12:26 And
it shall come to pass, when your children shall
say unto you, What mean ye by this service?
02-12:48 And
when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the
LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is
born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
02-13:14 And
it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come,
saying, What is this? that thou shalt
say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the
house of bondage:
02-14:26 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters
may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their
chariots, and upon their horsemen.
02-16:5 And
it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day
they shall prepare that which they
bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
02-16:9 And
Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of
Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he hath
heard your murmurings.
02-17:6 Behold,
I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the
rock, and there shall come water out of it, that
the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
02-18:6 And
he said unto Moses, I thy father in law Jethro am come
unto thee, and thy wife, and her two sons with her.
02-18:8 And
Moses told his father in law all that the LORD had done unto Pharaoh and to the
Egyptians for Israel’s sake, and all
the travail that had come upon them by the way,
and how the LORD delivered them.
02-18:15 And
Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come
unto me to enquire of God:
02-18:16 When
they have a matter, they come unto me; and I
judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.
02-19:2 For
they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched
in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.
02-19:9 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee
in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe
thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.
02-19:11 And
be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount
Sinai.
02-19:13 There
shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through;
whether it be beast or man, it shall
not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come
up to the mount.
02-19:15 And
he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your
wives.
02-19:22 And
let the priests also, which come near to the
LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.
02-19:23 And
Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come
up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount,
and sanctify it.
02-19:24 And
the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the
priests and the people break through to come up
unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.
02-20:20 And
Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come
to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.
02-20:24 An
altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt
offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places
where I record my name I will come unto thee,
and I will bless thee.
02-21:14 But
if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour,
to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.
02-22:9 For
all manner of trespass, whether it be for
ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for
any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth
to be his, the cause of both parties shall come
before the judges; and whom the
judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.
02-22:27 For
that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein
shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when
he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am
gracious.
02-23:27 I
will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou
shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies
turn their backs unto thee.
02-24:1 And
he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou,
and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship
ye afar off.
02-24:2 And
Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they
shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go
up with him.
02-24:12 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the
mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and
commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
02-24:14 And
he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any
matters to do, let him come unto them.
02-25:32 And
six branches shall come out of the sides of it;
three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of
the candlestick out of the other side:
02-25:33 Three
bowls made like unto almonds, with a
knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other
branch, with a knop and a flower: so
in the six branches that come out of the
candlestick.
02-28:43 And
they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come
in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and
die: it shall be a statute for ever
unto him and his seed after him.
02-30:20 When
they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water,
that they die not; or when they come near to the
altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD:
02-32:1 And
when the people saw that Moses delayed to come
down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and
said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought
us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
02-32:26 Then
Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’S side? let
him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi
gathered themselves together unto him.
02-33:5 For
the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and
consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know
what to do unto thee.
02-33:22 And
it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth
by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my
hand while I pass by:
02-34:2 And
be ready in the morning, and come up in the
morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the
mount.
02-34:3 And
no man shall come up with thee, neither let any
man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed
before that mount.
02-34:30 And
when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his
face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh
him.
02-35:10 And
every wise hearted among you shall come, and
make all that the LORD hath commanded;
02-36:2 And
Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart
the LORD had put wisdom, even every
one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the
work to do it:
03-4:23 Or
if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his
knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without
blemish:

if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his
knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female
without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not

she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days;

and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his
tent seven days.

ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give
to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land

he that owneth the house shall come and tell the
priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is
as it were a plague in the house:
03-14:39 And
the priest shall come again the seventh day, and
shall look: and, behold, if the
plague be spread in the walls of the house;
03-14:43 And
if the plague come again, and break out in the
house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the
house, and after it is plaistered;

the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it
is a fretting leprosy in the house:
it is unclean.

not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall
pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

seat, which is upon the ark; that he

shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin

and come forth, and offer his burnt offering,
and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and
for the people.

camp.

afterward he shall come into the camp.

shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse

mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.
03-19:23 And
when ye shall come into the land, and shall have
planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as

be eaten of.
03-21:21 No
man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by
fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh
to offer the bread of his God.

he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh
unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries:
for I the LORD do sanctify them.
03-23:10 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall
reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of
your harvest unto the priest:
03-25:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a
sabbath unto the LORD.

congregation, on the first day of the
second month, in the second year after they were come
out of the land of Egypt, saying,
04-4:5 And
when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come,
and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of
testimony with it:
04-4:15 And
when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the
vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons
of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of
Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-5:14 And
the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be
jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she
be not defiled:
04-5:27 And
when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if
she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that
causeth the curse shall enter into her, and
become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the
woman shall be a curse among her people.
04-6:5 All
the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in

04-6:6 All
the days that he separateth himself unto
the LORD he shall come at no dead body.
04-8:19 And
I have given the Levites as a gift to
Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of
the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an
atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the
children of Israel, when the children of Israel come
nigh unto the sanctuary.
04-9:1 And
the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the

We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the
LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.
04-11:17 And
I will come down and talk with thee there: and I
will take of the spirit which is upon
thee, and will put it upon them; and
they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.

you: because that ye have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth

unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I give
unto you,

unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,
04-16:5 And

chosen will he cause to come near unto him.

us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these
men? we will not come up.
04-16:40 To be a memorial unto the children of
Israel, that no stranger, which is not
of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense
before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said
to him by the hand of Moses.

it shall come to pass, that the man’s rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will

murmur against you.
04-18:3 And
they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle: only they
shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary
and the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die.

they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the

children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of
the earth, and they abide over against me:
04-22:6 Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people;
for they are too mighty for me:
peradventure I shall prevail, that we
may smite them, and that I may drive
them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.

there is a people come out of Egypt, which covereth the face of the
earth: come now, curse me them; peradventure I
shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out.

curse me this people.

unto another place, from whence thou mayest see them: thou shalt see but the
utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence.
04-23:27 And
Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I
will bring thee unto another place; peradventure it will please God that thou
mayest curse me them from thence.

now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee
what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.
04-24:17 I
shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out

dwell.

unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan;

if the slayer shall at any time come without the
border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled;

that he should come again to dwell in the land,
until the death of the priest.

must go up, and into what cities we shall come.

05-4:30 When
thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come
upon thee, even in the latter days,

this side Jordan, in the valley over against Bethpeor, in the land of Sihon
king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of
Israel smote, after they were come forth out of
Egypt:
05-6:20 And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean
the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our
God hath commanded you?
05-7:12 Wherefore
it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these
judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee
the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:
05-10:1 At
that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the
first, and come up unto me into the mount, and
make thee an ark of wood.
05-11:13 And
it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken
diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD
your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God
hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou
shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to

inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you.
05-13:2 And
the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he
spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known,
and let us serve them;

the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the
stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come,
and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the
work of thine hand which thou doest.
05-15:19 All
the firstling males that come of thy herd and of
thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work with
the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.
05-17:9 And
thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites,
and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and enquire; and they shall
shew thee the sentence of judgment:
05-17:14 When
thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy
God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say,
I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;

if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of
all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with
all the desire of his mind unto the place which the LORD shall choose;

thou art come into the land which the LORD thy
God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those
nations.

afraid of him.
05-20:2 And
it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the
battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,

thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and
they shall measure unto the cities which are
round about him that is slain:
05-21:5 And
the priests the sons of Levi shall come near;
for them the LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the
name of the LORD; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be
tried:
05-23:10 If
there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that
chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:

presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his
face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not
build up his brother’s house.

what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come
forth out of Egypt;

it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth
thee for an inheritance, and
possessest it, and dwellest therein;
05-26:3 And
thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I
profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come
unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.
05-27:12 These
shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and
Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:
05-28:1 And
it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken
diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that
the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
05-28:2 And
all these blessings shall come on thee, and
overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
05-28:7 The
LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before
thy face: they shall come out against thee one
way, and flee before thee seven ways.
05-28:15 But
it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken
unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and
his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
05-28:24 The
LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
05-28:43 The
stranger that is within thee shall
get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come
down very low.
05-28:45 Moreover
all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall
pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou
hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments
and his statutes which he commanded thee:
05-28:52 And
he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy
land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which
the LORD thy God hath given thee.
05-28:63 And
it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply
you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to
nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess
it.
05-29:19 And
it come to pass, when he heareth the words of
this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace,
though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
05-29:22 So
that the generation to come of your children
that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the
plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it;
05-30:1 And
it shall come to pass, when all these things are
come upon thee, the blessing and the curse,
which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath
driven thee,

he said unto them, I am an hundred
and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the LORD hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over
this Jordan.
05-31:11 When
all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy
God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all
Israel in their hearing.
05-31:17 Then
my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them,
and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils
and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not
these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?
05-31:21 And it shall come
to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness;
for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I
know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought
them into the land which I sware.

me belongeth vengeance, and
recompence; their foot shall slide in due

at hand, and the things that shall come upon
them make haste.

when we come
into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which
thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and
thy brethren, and all thy father’s household, home unto thee.
06-3:4 Yet
there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by
measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know
the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore.
06-3:8 And
thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When
ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan,
ye shall stand still in Jordan.
06-3:9 And
Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come
hither, and hear the words of the LORD your God.
06-3:13 And
it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of
the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the
earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that
the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from
the waters that come down from above; and
they shall stand upon an heap.
06-3:15 And
as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan,
and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the
water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)
06-4:6 That
this may be a sign among you, that when
your children ask their fathers in
time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones?
06-4:16 Command
the priests that bear the ark of the testimony, that they come up out of Jordan.
06-4:17 Joshua
therefore commanded the priests, saying, Come ye
up out of Jordan.
06-4:18 And
it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD
were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and the soles of the priests’ feet were
lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unto their
place, and flowed over all his banks, as they
did before.
06-4:21 And
he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask
their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?
06-5:14 And
he said, Nay; but as captain of the
host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell
on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my
lord unto his servant?
06-6:5 And
it shall come to pass, that when they make a
long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the
trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the
city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight
before him.
06-6:19 But
all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come
into the treasury of the LORD.
06-7:14 In
the morning therefore ye shall be brought according to your tribes: and it
shall be, that the tribe which the
LORD taketh shall come according to the families
thereof; and the family which the
LORD shall take shall come by households; and
the household which the LORD shall take shall come
man by man.
06-8:5 And
I, and all the people that are with
me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come
to pass, when they come out against us, as at
the first, that we will flee before them,
06-8:6 (For
they will come out after us) till we have drawn
them from the city; for they will say, They flee before us, as at the first:
therefore we will flee before them.
06-9:6 And
they went to Joshua unto the camp at Gilgal, and said unto him, and to the men
of Israel, We be come from a far country: now
therefore make ye a league with us.
06-9:8 And
they said unto Joshua, We are thy
servants. And Joshua said unto them, Who are
ye? and from whence come ye?
06-9:9 And
they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of the name of the LORD thy God: for we
have heard the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt,
06-10:4 Come up unto me, and help me, that we may smite
Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.
06-10:6 And
the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy
hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly,
and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the
mountains are gathered together against us.
06-10:24 And
it came to pass, when they brought out those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called
for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which
went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the
necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of
them.
06-11:20 For
it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy
them utterly, and that they might
have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.
06-14:11 As
yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as
my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go
out, and to come in.
06-18:4 Give
out from among you three men for each tribe:
and I will send them, and they shall rise, and go through the land, and describe
it according to the inheritance of them; and they shall come again to me.
06-18:8 And
the men arose, and went away: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the
land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you
before the LORD in Shiloh.
06-20:6 And
he shall dwell in that city, until he stand before the congregation for
judgment, and until the death of the
high priest that shall be in those days: then shall the slayer return, and come unto his own city, and unto his own house, unto
the city from whence he fled.
06-22:24 And
if we have not rather done it for
fear of this thing, saying, In time
to come your children might speak unto our
children, saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel?
06-22:27 But
that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us,
that we might do the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings,
and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may
not say to our children in time to come, Ye have
no part in the LORD.
06-22:28 Therefore
said we, that it shall be, when they should so
say to us or to our generations in time to come,
that we may say again, Behold the
pattern of the altar of the LORD, which our fathers made, not for burnt
offerings, nor for sacrifices; but it is a
witness between us and you.
06-23:7 That
ye come not among these nations, these that
remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to
swear by them, neither serve them,
nor bow yourselves unto them:
06-23:14 And,
behold, this day I am going the way
of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that
not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake
concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
06-23:15 Therefore
it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come
upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon
you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which
the LORD your God hath given you.
07-1:3 And
Judah said unto Simeon his brother, Come up with
me into my lot, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I likewise will
go with thee into thy lot. So Simeon went with him.
07-1:24 And
the spies saw a man come forth out of the city,
and they said unto him, Shew us, we pray thee, the entrance into the city, and
we will shew thee mercy.
07-1:34 And
the Amorites forced the children of Dan into the mountain: for they would not
suffer them to come down to the valley:
07-3:27 And
it came to pass, when he was come, that he blew
a trumpet in the mountain of Ephraim, and the children of Israel went down with
him from the mount, and he before them.
07-4:20 Again
he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man
doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there
any man here? that thou shalt say, No.
07-4:22 And,
behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest.
And when he came into her tent, behold,
Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in
his temples.
07-6:4 And
they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel,
neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.
07-6:18 Depart
not hence, I pray thee, until I come unto thee,
and bring forth my present, and set it before
thee. And he said, I will tarry until thou come
again.
07-7:13 And
when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto
his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley
bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that
it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.
07-7:17 And
he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.
07-7:24 And
Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount Ephraim, saying, Come down against the Midianites, and take before them
the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered
themselves together, and took the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan.
07-8:9 And
he spake also unto the men of Penuel, saying, When I come
again in peace, I will break down this tower.
07-9:10 And
the trees said to the fig tree, Come thou, and reign over us.
07-9:12 Then
said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us.
07-9:14 Then
said all the trees unto the bramble, Come thou, and reign over us.
07-9:15 And
the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come
and put your trust in my shadow: and
if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and
devour the cedars of Lebanon.
07-9:20 But
if not, let fire come out from Abimelech, and
devour the men of Shechem, and the house of Millo; and let fire come out from the men of Shechem, and from the house
of Millo, and devour Abimelech.
07-9:24 That
the cruelty done to the threescore
and ten sons of Jerubbaal might come, and their
blood be laid upon Abimelech their brother, which slew them; and upon the men of
Shechem, which aided him in the killing of his brethren.
07-9:29 And
would to God this people were under my hand! then would I remove Abimelech. And
he said to Abimelech, Increase thine army, and come
out.
07-9:31 And
he sent messengers unto Abimelech privily, saying, Behold, Gaal the son of Ebed
and his brethren be come to Shechem; and,
behold, they fortify the city against thee.
07-9:33 And
it shall be, that in the morning, as
soon as the sun is up, thou shalt rise early, and set upon the city: and,
behold, when he and the people that is with him come
out against thee, then mayest thou do to them as thou shalt find occasion.
07-9:36 And
when Gaal saw the people, he said to Zebul, Behold, there come people down from the top of the mountains. And
Zebul said unto him, Thou seest the shadow of the mountains as if they were men.
07-9:37 And
Gaal spake again and said, See there come people
down by the middle of the land, and another company come
along by the plain of Meonenim.
07-9:43 And
he took the people, and divided them into three companies, and laid wait in the
field, and looked, and, behold, the people were
come forth out of the city; and he rose up
against them, and smote them.
07-11:6 And
they said unto Jephthah, Come, and be our
captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon.
07-11:7 And
Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out
of my father’s house? and why are ye come unto
me now when ye are in distress?
07-11:12 And
Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What
hast thou to do with me, that thou art come
against me to fight in my land?
07-11:33 And
he smote them from Aroer, even till thou come to
Minnith, even twenty cities, and unto
the plain of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. Thus the children of
Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.
07-12:3 And
when I saw that ye delivered me not,
I put my life in my hands, and passed over against the children of Ammon, and the
LORD delivered them into my hand: wherefore then are ye come up unto me this day, to fight against me?
07-13:5 For,
lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto
God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the
Philistines.
07-13:8 Then
Manoah intreated the LORD, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou
didst send come again unto us, and teach us what
we shall do unto the child that shall be born.
07-13:12 And
Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How
shall we order the child, and how shall
we do unto him?
07-13:17 And
Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come
to pass we may do thee honour?
07-15:10 And
the men of Judah said, Why are ye come up
against us? And they answered, To bind Samson are we come
up, to do to him as he hath done to us.
07-15:12 And
they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee,
that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto
them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.
07-16:2 And it was told the Gazites, saying,
Samson is come hither. And they compassed him in, and laid wait for him all night
in the gate of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning,
when it is day, we shall kill him.
07-16:17 That
he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my
mother’s womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall
become weak, and be like any other man.
07-16:18 And
when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for
the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up
this once, for he hath shewed me all his heart. Then the lords of the
Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand.
07-18:10 When
ye go, ye shall come unto a people secure, and
to a large land: for God hath given it into your hands; a place where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth.
07-19:11 And when they were by Jebus, the day was far spent; and the servant said unto his
master, Come, I pray thee, and let us turn in into
this city of the Jebusites, and lodge in it.
07-19:13 And
he said unto his servant, Come, and let us draw
near to one of these places to lodge all night, in Gibeah, or in Ramah.
07-19:23 And
the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay,
my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.
07-19:29 And
when he was come into his house, he took a
knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all
the coasts of Israel.
07-20:10 And
we will take ten men of an hundred throughout all the tribes of Israel, and an
hundred of a thousand, and a thousand out of ten thousand, to fetch victual for
the people, that they may do, when they come to
Gibeah of Benjamin, according to all the folly that they have wrought in
Israel.
07-20:41 And
when the men of Israel turned again, the men of Benjamin were amazed: for they
saw that evil was come upon them.
07-21:3 And
said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to
pass in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel?
07-21:21 And
see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come
out to dance in dances, then come ye out of the
vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go
to the land of Benjamin.
07-21:22 And
it shall be, when their fathers or their brethren come
unto us to complain, that we will say unto them, Be favourable unto them for
our sakes: because we reserved not to each man his wife in the war: for ye did
not give unto them at this time, that ye
should be guilty.
08-1:19 So
they two went until they came to Bethlehem. And it came to pass, when they were
come to Bethlehem, that all the city was moved
about them, and they said, Is this
Naomi?
08-2:11 And
Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou
hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy
mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come
unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.
08-2:12 The
LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of
Israel, under whose wings thou art come to
trust.
08-2:14 And
Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou
hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat
beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.
08-4:3 And
he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come
again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech’s:
08-4:11 And
all the people that were in the gate,
and the elders, said, We are witnesses.
The LORD make the woman that is come into thine
house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and
do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:
09-1:11 And
she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the
affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid,
but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the
LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.
09-1:20 Wherefore
it came to pass, when the time was come about
after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the
LORD.
09-2:3 Talk
no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy
come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him
actions are weighed.
09-2:31 Behold,
the days come, that I will cut off thine arm,
and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine
house.
09-2:34 And
this shall be a sign unto thee, that
shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and
Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.
09-2:36 And
it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch
to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I
pray thee, into one of the priests’ offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.
09-4:3 And
when the people were come into the camp, the
elders of Israel said, Wherefore hath the LORD smitten us to day before the
Philistines? Let us fetch the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of Shiloh
unto us, that, when it cometh among us, it may save us out of the hand of our
enemies.
09-4:6 And
when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, What meaneth the noise of this great shout in
the camp of the Hebrews? And they understood that the ark of the LORD was come into the camp.
09-4:7 And
the Philistines were afraid, for they said, God is come
into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing
heretofore.
09-5:5 Therefore
neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come
into Dagon’s house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day.
09-6:7 Now
therefore make a new cart, and take two milch kine, on which there hath come no yoke, and tie the kine to the cart, and bring
their calves home from them:
09-6:21 And
they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kirjathjearim, saying, The
Philistines have brought again the ark of the LORD; come
ye down, and fetch it up to you.
09-9:5 And when they were come to the land of Zuph, Saul said to his servant
that was with him, Come, and let us return; lest my father leave caring for the asses, and take thought
for us.
09-9:9 (Beforetime
in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)
09-9:10 Then
said Saul to his servant, Well said; come, let
us go. So they went unto the city where the man of God was.
09-9:13 As
soon as ye be come into the city, ye shall
straightway find him, before he go up to the high place to eat: for the people
will not eat until he come, because he doth
bless the sacrifice; and afterwards
they eat that be bidden. Now therefore get you up; for about this time ye shall
find him.
09-9:14 And
they went up into the city: and when
they were come into the city, behold, Samuel
came out against them, for to go up to the high place.
09-9:16 To
morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and
thou shalt anoint him to be captain
over my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of the
Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me.
09-9:25 And
when they were come down from the high place
into the city, Samuel communed with
Saul upon the top of the house.
09-10:3 Then
shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come
to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to
Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread,
and another carrying a bottle of wine:
09-10:5 After
that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and
it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a
company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a
tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:
09-10:6 And
the spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and
thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.
09-10:7 And
let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for
God is with thee.
09-10:8 And
thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace
offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come
to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do.
09-10:11 And
it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he
prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
09-10:20 And
when Samuel had caused all the tribes of Israel to come
near, the tribe of Benjamin was taken.
09-10:21 When
he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near
by their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of Kish was
taken: and when they sought him, he could not be found.
09-10:22 Therefore
they enquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come thither. And the LORD answered, Behold, he hath
hid himself among the stuff.
09-11:3 And
the elders of Jabesh said unto him, Give us seven days’ respite, that we may
send messengers unto all the coasts of Israel: and then, if there be no man to save us, we will come out to thee.
09-11:10 Therefore
the men of Jabesh said, To morrow we will come
out unto you, and ye shall do with us all that seemeth good unto you.
09-11:14 Then
said Samuel to the people, Come, and let us go
to Gilgal, and renew the kingdom there.
09-12:8 When
Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers
cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your
fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place.
09-13:12 Therefore
said I, The Philistines will come down now upon
me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself
therefore, and offered a burnt offering.
09-14:1 Now
it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said unto the young
man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go
over to the Philistines’ garrison, that is
on the other side. But he told not his father.
09-14:6 And
Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come,
and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the
LORD will work for us: for there is no
restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.
09-14:9 If
they say thus unto us, Tarry until we come to
you; then we will stand still in our place, and will not go up unto them.
09-14:10 But
if they say thus, Come up unto us; then we will
go up: for the LORD hath delivered them into our hand: and this shall be a sign unto us.
09-14:11 And
both of them discovered themselves unto the garrison of the Philistines: and
the Philistines said, Behold, the Hebrews come
forth out of the holes where they had hid themselves.
09-14:12 And
the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armourbearer, and said, Come up to us, and we will shew you a thing. And
Jonathan said unto his armourbearer, Come up
after me: for the LORD hath delivered them into the hand of Israel.
09-14:26 And
when the people were come into the wood, behold,
the honey dropped; but no man put his hand to his mouth: for the people feared
the oath.
09-16:2 And
Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it,
he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am
come to sacrifice to the LORD.
09-16:5 And
he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto
the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me
to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the
sacrifice.
09-16:6 And
it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked
on Eliab, and said, Surely the Lord’s anointed is before him.
09-16:11 And
Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children?
And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the
sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down
till he come hither.
09-16:16 Let
our lord now command thy servants, which
are before thee, to seek out a man, who
is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come
to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with
his hand, and thou shalt be well.
09-17:8 And
he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your
battle in array? am not I a Philistine,
and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me.
09-17:25 And
the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come
up? surely to defy Israel is he come up: and it
shall be, that the man who killeth
him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his
daughter, and make his father’s house free in Israel.
09-17:28 And
Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger

down that thou mightest see the battle.

and with a shield: but I come to thee in the
name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast
defied.

behold, I will send a lad, saying, Go,
find out the arrows. If I expressly say unto the lad, Behold, the arrows are on this side of thee, take them;

David hid himself in the field: and when the new moon was come, the king sat him down to eat meat.

said David, O LORD God of Israel, thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul
seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city
for my sake.

the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD God of
Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.
09-23:15 And
David saw that Saul was come out to seek his

therefore, O king, come down according to all
the desire of thy soul to come down; and our
part shall be to deliver him into the
king’s hand.
09-23:23 See
therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hideth
himself, and come ye again to me with the
certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall come
to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the
thousands of Judah.
09-23:27 But
there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste thee, and come; for the Philistines have invaded the land.

David.
09-25:19 And
she said unto her servants, Go on before me; behold, I come
after you. But she told not her husband Nabal.

it shall come to pass, when the LORD shall have
done to my lord according to all the good that he hath spoken concerning thee,
and shall have appointed thee ruler over Israel;
09-25:34 For

Israel liveth, which hath kept me back from hurting thee, except thou hadst
hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not
been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.
09-25:40 And
when the servants of David were come to Abigail
to Carmel, they spake unto her, saying, David sent us unto thee, to take thee
to him to wife.

therefore sent out spies, and understood that Saul was come
in very deed.
09-26:10 David
said furthermore, As the LORD liveth,
the LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come
to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish.

therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the LORD: for

10-5:8 And
David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the
Jebusites, and the lame and the blind, that
are hated of David’s soul, he shall
be chief and captain. Wherefore they said, The blind and the lame shall not
come into the house.

GOD?

eat it at her hand.

come to the king, and speak on this manner unto
him. So Joab put the words in her mouth.

the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his handmaid.

him there shall not be left so much as one.

unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they
kill us, we shall but die.
12-7:5 And
they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they
were come to the uttermost part of the camp of
Syria, behold, there was no man
there.
12-7:6 For
the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a
noise of horses, even the noise of a
great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against
us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.
12-7:9 Then
they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till
the morning light, some mischief will come upon
us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell
the king’s household.
12-7:12 And
the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you
what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide
themselves in the field, saying, When they come
out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.
12-8:1 Then
spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise,
and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn:
for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.
12-8:7 And
Elisha came to Damascus; and Benhadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was
told him, saying, The man of God is come hither.
12-9:16 So
Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. And Ahaziah
king of Judah was come down to see Joram.
12-9:30 And
when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and
tired her head, and looked out at a window.
12-9:34 And
when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and
said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and
bury her: for she is a king’s
daughter.
12-10:6 Then
he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will
hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master’s sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the
king’s sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city,
which brought them up.
12-10:16 And
he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the
LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot.
12-10:25 And
it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering,
that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, and slay them; let none come forth.
And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains
cast them out, and went to the city
of the house of Baal.
12-11:9 And
the captains over the hundreds did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took every man
his men that were to come in on the sabbath,
with them that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.
12-14:8 Then
Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of
Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in
the face.
12-16:7 So
Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of
Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which rise up against me.
12-16:12 And
when the king was come from Damascus, the king
saw the altar: and the king approached to the altar, and offered thereon.
12-18:13 Now
in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and
took them.
12-18:17 And
the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rabsaris and Rabshakeh from Lachish to king
Hezekiah with a great host against Jerusalem. And they went up and came to
Jerusalem. And when they were come up, they came
and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the highway of the fuller’s field.
12-18:25 Am
I now come up without the LORD against this
place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy
it.
12-18:31 Hearken
not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come
out to me, and then eat ye every man
of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the
waters of his cistern:
12-18:32 Until
I come and take you away to a land like your own
land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil
olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto
Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you, saying, The LORD will deliver us.
12-19:3 And
they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children
are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.
12-19:9 And
when he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, Behold, he is come out to fight against thee: he sent messengers
again unto Hezekiah, saying,
12-19:23 By
thy messengers thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude
of my chariots I am come up to the height of the
mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees
thereof, and the choice fir trees
thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.
12-19:28 Because
thy rage against me and thy tumult is come up
into mine ears, therefore I will put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy
lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.
12-19:32 Therefore
thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against
it.
12-19:33 By
the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.
12-20:14 Then
came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these
men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.
12-20:17 Behold,
the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy
fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon:
nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
13-9:25 And
their brethren, which were in their
villages, were to come after seven days from time to time with them.
13-10:4 Then
said Saul to his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith;
lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But
his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. So Saul took a sword, and
fell upon it.
13-11:5 And
the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, Thou shalt not come
hither. Nevertheless David took the castle of Zion, which is the city of David.
13-12:17 And
David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be
knit unto you: but if ye be come to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the God
of our fathers look thereon, and
rebuke it.
13-12:31 And
of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, which were expressed by name,
to come and make David king.
13-14:14 Therefore
David enquired again of God; and God said unto him, Go not up after them; turn
away from them, and come upon them over against
the mulberry trees.
13-16:29 Give
unto the LORD the glory due unto his
name: bring an offering, and come before him:
worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
13-17:11 And
it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired
that thou must go to be with thy
fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons;
and I will establish his kingdom.
13-17:17 And
yet this was a small thing in thine
eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken
of thy servant’s house for a great while to come,
and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD
God.
13-19:3 But
the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, Thinkest thou that David
doth honour thy father, that he hath sent comforters unto thee? are not his
servants come unto thee for to search, and to
overthrow, and to spy out the land?
13-19:9 And
the children of Ammon came out, and put the battle in array before the gate of
the city: and the kings that were come were by themselves in the field.
13-24:19 These
were the orderings of them in their
service to come into the house of the LORD,
according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel
had commanded him.
13-29:12 Both
riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give
strength unto all.
13-29:14 But
who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to
offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have
we given thee.
14-1:10 Give
me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come
in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?
14-5:11 And
it came to pass, when the priests were come out
of the holy place: (for all the
priests that were present were
sanctified, and did not then wait by course:
14-6:9 Notwithstanding
thou shalt not build the house; but thy son which shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.
14-6:22 If
a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him
swear, and the oath come before thine altar in
this house;
14-6:32 Moreover
concerning the stranger, which is not of thy people Israel, but is come from a far country for thy great name’s sake, and
thy mighty hand, and thy stretched out arm; if they come
and pray in this house;
14-8:11 And
Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the
house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the
house of David king of Israel, because the
places are holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come.
14-9:1 And
when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon
with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that
bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was
in her heart.
14-10:1 And
Rehoboam went to Shechem: for to Shechem were all Israel come to make him king.
14-10:5 And
he said unto them, Come again unto me after
three days. And the people departed.
14-10:12 So
Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam on the third day, as the king
bade, saying, Come again to me on the third day.
14-11:1 And
when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered
of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight
against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.
14-13:13 But
Jeroboam caused an ambushment to come about
behind them: so they were before Judah, and the ambushment was behind them.
14-16:1 In
the six and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa Baasha king of Israel came up
against Judah, and built Ramah, to the intent that he might let none go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.
14-18:14 And
when he was come to the king, the king said unto
him, Micaiah, shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And he
said, Go ye up, and prosper, and they shall be delivered into your hand.
14-19:10 And
what cause soever shall come to you of your
brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and
commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass
not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye
shall not trespass.
14-20:11 Behold,
I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast
given us to inherit.
14-20:16 To
morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come
up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before
the wilderness of Jeruel.
14-20:22 And
when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the
children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come
against Judah; and they were smitten.
14-22:7 And
the destruction of Ahaziah was of God by coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of
Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.
14-23:6 But
let none come into the house of the LORD, save
the priests, and they that minister of the Levites; they shall go in, for they are holy: but all the people shall keep
the watch of the LORD.
14-23:8 So
the Levites and all Judah did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest
had commanded, and took every man his men that were to come
in on the sabbath, with them that were to go out on the sabbath: for Jehoiada the priest dismissed not the
courses.
14-23:15 So
they laid hands on her; and when she was come to
the entering of the horse gate by the king’s house, they slew her there.
14-25:10 Then
Amaziah separated them, to wit, the
army that was come to him out of Ephraim, to go home
again: wherefore their anger was greatly kindled against Judah, and they
returned home in great anger.
14-25:14 Now
it came to pass, after that Amaziah was come
from the slaughter of the Edomites, that he brought the gods of the children of
Seir, and set them up to be his gods,
and bowed down himself before them, and burned incense unto them.
14-25:17 Then
Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the
son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let
us see one another in the face.
14-28:17 For
again the Edomites had come and smitten Judah,
and carried away captives.
14-29:31 Then
Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into
the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank
offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.
14-30:1 And
Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and
Manasseh, that they should come to the house of
the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.
14-30:5 So
they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from
Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to
keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not
done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.
14-30:9 For
if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that
lead them captive, so that they shall come again
into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious
and merciful, and will not turn away his face
from you, if ye return unto him.
14-32:2 And
when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was come, and
that he was purposed to fight against Jerusalem,
14-32:4 So
there was gathered much people together, who stopped all the fountains, and the
brook that ran through the midst of the land, saying, Why should the kings of
Assyria come, and find much water?
14-32:21 And
the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the
leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with
shame of face to his own land. And when he was come
into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him
there with the sword.
14-35:21 But
he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of
Judah? I come
not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for
God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with
me, that he destroy thee not.
15-3:1 And
when the seventh month was come, and the
children of Israel were in the
cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.
15-3:8 Now
in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the
second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of
Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all
they that were come out of the captivity unto
Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set
forward the work of the house of the LORD.
15-4:12 Be
it known unto the king, that the Jews which came up from thee to us are come unto Jerusalem, building the rebellious and the bad
city, and have set up the walls thereof, and
joined the foundations.
15-6:21 And
the children of Israel, which were come again
out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the
filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat,
15-8:35 Also the children of those that had been
carried away, which were come out of the
captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for
all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.
15-9:13 And
after all that is come upon us for our evil
deeds, and for our great trespass, seeing that thou our God hast punished us
less than our iniquities deserve, and
hast given us such deliverance as
this;
15-10:8 And
that whosoever would not come within three days,
according to the counsel of the princes and the elders, all his substance
should be forfeited, and himself separated from the congregation of those that
had been carried away.
15-10:14 Let
now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken
strange wives in our cities come at appointed
times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until
the fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us.
16-2:7 Moreover
I said unto the king, If it please the king, let letters be given me to the
governors beyond the river, that they may convey me over till I come into Judah;
16-2:10 When
Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it grieved them exceedingly that
there was come a man to seek the welfare of the
children of Israel.
16-2:17 Then
said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste,
and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come,
and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
16-4:8 And
conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to
hinder it.
16-4:11 And
our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come in the midst among them, and slay them, and cause
the work to cease.
16-6:2 That
Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come,
let us meet together in some one of the
villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.
16-6:3 And
I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am
doing a great work, so that I cannot come
down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?
16-6:7 And
thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall
it be reported to the king according to these words. Come
now therefore, and let us take counsel together.
16-6:10 Afterward
I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who
was shut up; and he said, Let us meet
together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of
the temple: for they will come to slay thee;
yea, in the night will they come to slay thee.
16-8:17 And
all the congregation of them that were come
again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the
days of Jeshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done
so. And there was very great gladness.
16-9:32 Now
therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who keepest
covenant and mercy, let not all the trouble seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our kings, on our princes, and on our
priests, and on our prophets, and on our fathers, and on all thy people, since
the time of the kings of Assyria unto this day.
16-13:1 On
that day they read in the book of Moses in the audience of the people; and
therein was found written, that the Ammonite and the Moabite should not come into the congregation of God for ever;
16-13:22 And
I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates,
to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and
spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.
17-1:12 But
the queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s
commandment by his chamberlains:
therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him.
17-1:17 For this deed
of the queen shall come abroad unto all women,
so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The
king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him,
but she came not.
17-1:19 If
it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be
written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered,
That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus;
and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.
17-2:12 Now
when every maid’s turn was come to go in to king
Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of
the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh,
and six months with sweet odours, and with other
things for the purifying of the women;)
17-2:15 Now
when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had
taken her for his daughter, was come to go in
unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the
keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all
them that looked upon her.
17-4:11 All
the king’s servants, and the people of the king’s provinces, do know, that
whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto
the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him
to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre,
that he may live: but I have not been called to come
in unto the king these thirty days.
17-4:14 For
if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from
another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who
knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for
such a time as this?
17-5:4 And
Esther answered, If it seem good unto
the king, let the king and Haman come this day
unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.
17-5:8 If
I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to
grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and
I will do to morrow as the king hath said.
17-5:12 Haman
said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come
in with the king unto the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to
morrow am I invited unto her also with the king.
17-6:4 And
the king said, Who is in the court?
Now Haman was come into the outward court of the
king’s house, to speak unto the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he
had prepared for him.
17-6:5 And
the king’s servants said unto him, Behold, Haman standeth in the court. And the
king said, Let him come in.
17-8:6 For
how can I endure to see the evil that shall come
unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?
17-9:26 Wherefore
they called these days Purim after the name of Pur. Therefore for all the words
of this letter, and of that which they
had seen concerning this matter, and which had come
unto them,
18-2:11 Now
when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place;
Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for
they had made an appointment together to come to
mourn with him and to comfort him.
18-3:6 As
for that night, let darkness seize
upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.
18-3:7 Lo,
let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come
therein.
18-3:25 For
the thing which I greatly feared is come upon
me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto
me.
18-4:5 But
now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it
toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.
18-5:26 Thou
shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his
season.
18-7:9 As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth
away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come
up no more.
18-8:22 They
that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the
wicked shall come to nought.
18-9:32 For
he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come
together in judgment.
18-13:13 Hold
your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come
on me what will.
18-13:16 He
also shall be my salvation: for an
hypocrite shall not come before him.
18-14:14 If
a man die, shall he live again? all
the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
18-14:21 His
sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he
perceiveth it not of them.
18-15:21 A
dreadful sound is in his ears: in
prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.
18-16:22 When
a few years are come, then I shall go the way whence I shall not return.
18-17:10 But
as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for
I cannot find one wise man among you.
18-18:20 They
that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were
affrighted.
18-19:12 His
troops come together, and raise up their way
against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.
18-20:22 In
the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked
shall come upon him.
18-22:21 Acquaint
now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
18-23:3 Oh
that I knew where I might find him! that I
might come even
to his seat!
18-23:10 But
he knoweth the way that I take: when he
hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
18-26:10 He
hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
18-34:28 So
that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto
him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.
18-37:13 He
causeth it to come, whether for correction, or
for his land, or for mercy.
18-38:11 And
said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further:
and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
18-41:13 Who
can discover the face of his garment? or who
can come to
him with his double bridle?
18-41:16 One
is so near to another, that no air can come
between them.

also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed
thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

shall come down like rain upon the mown grass:
as showers that water the earth.

will not hide them from their
children, shewing to the generation to come the
praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath
done.
19-78:6 That
the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:

my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto

he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he
delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.

he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his
bones.
19-119:41 VAU.
Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy
word.

thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may
live: for thy law is my delight.

not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and
to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.
20-5:8 Remove
thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door
of her house:

this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come
into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend.

as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall
he be broken without remedy.

to them that rebuke him shall be
delight, and a good blessing shall come upon
them.

as one that travelleth; and thy want
as an armed man.
20-25:4 Take
away the dross from the silver, and there shall come
forth a vessel for the finer.
20-25:7 For
better it is that it be said unto
thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the
prince whom thine eyes have seen.
20-26:2 As
the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall
not come.
20-28:22 He
that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye,
and considereth not that poverty shall come upon
him.

21-1:16 I
communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come
to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great
experience of wisdom and knowledge.
21-2:16 For
there is no remembrance of the wise more
than of the fool for ever; seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be
forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? as
the fool.
21-4:16 There is no end of all the people, even of all that have been before them:
they also that come after shall not rejoice in
him. Surely this also is vanity and
vexation of spirit.

of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God
shall come forth of them all.
21-8:10 And
so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and
gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they
had so done: this is also vanity.
21-9:2 All
things come
alike to all: there is one event
to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the
unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he
that sweareth, as he that feareth an
oath.
21-12:1 Remember
now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt
say, I have no pleasure in them;
22-2:10 My
beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
22-2:12 The
flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of
the turtle is heard in our land;

fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good
smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come
away.
22-4:8 Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from
the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions’ dens, from the mountains of the
leopards.
22-4:16 Awake,
O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my
garden, that the spices thereof may
flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden,
and eat his pleasant fruits.
22-5:1 I
am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with
my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my
milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.
22-7:11 Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let
us lodge in the villages.
23-1:12 When
ye come to appear before me, who hath required
this at your hand, to tread my courts?

though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red
like crimson, they shall be as wool.
23-1:23 Thy
princes are rebellious, and
companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards:

it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house
shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above
the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
23-2:3 And
many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let
us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he
will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall
go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
23-2:5 O
house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the
light of the LORD.
23-3:24 And
it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a
girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a
stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning
instead of beauty.
23-4:3 And
it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the
living in Jerusalem:
23-5:6 And
I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the
clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
23-5:19 That
say, Let him make speed, and hasten
his work, that we may see it: and let
the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come,
that we may know it!
23-5:26 And
he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from
the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come
with speed swiftly:
23-7:7 Thus
saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.
23-7:17 The
LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house,
days that have not come from the day that
Ephraim departed from Judah; even the
king of Assyria.
23-7:18 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly
that is in the uttermost part of the
rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in
the land of Assyria.
23-7:19 And
they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the
desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon
all bushes.
23-7:21 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow,
and two sheep;
23-7:22 And
it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk
that they shall give he shall eat
butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.
23-7:23 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there
were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.
23-7:24 With
arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers
and thorns.
23-7:25 And
on all hills that shall be digged
with the mattock, there shall not come thither
the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen,
and for the treading of lesser cattle.
23-8:7 Now
therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river,
strong and many, even the king of Assyria,
and all his glory: and he shall come up over all
his channels, and go over all his banks:
23-8:10 Take
counsel together, and it shall come to nought;
speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
23-8:21 And
they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they
shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
23-10:3 And
what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come
from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?
23-10:12 Wherefore
it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion
and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of
Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
23-10:20 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as
are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote
them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
23-10:27 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from
off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be
destroyed because of the anointing.

is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at
Michmash he hath laid up his carriages:
23-11:1 And
there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of
Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
23-11:11 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again
the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from
Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and
from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
23-13:5 They
come from a far country, from the end of heaven,
even the LORD, and the weapons of his
indignation, to destroy the whole land.

ye; for the day of the LORD is at
hand; it shall come as a destruction from the
Almighty.

the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons
in their pleasant palaces: and her
time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD
shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard
bondage wherein thou wast made to serve.

the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the
cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou
art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
23-14:24 The
LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
23-14:29 Rejoice
not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken:
for out of the serpent’s root shall come forth a
cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a
fiery flying serpent.
23-14:31 Howl,
O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art
dissolved: for there shall come from the
north a smoke, and none shall be alone
in his appointed times.
23-16:8 For

the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.

in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made
thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.

burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved
at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian
shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into
Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.
23-21:12 The
watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire,
enquire ye: return, come.

it shall come to pass, that thy choicest valleys shall be full of chariots, and the
horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.

it shall come to pass in that day, that I will
call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:
23-23:15 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre
shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the
end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot.
23-23:17 And
it shall come to pass after the end of seventy
years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall
commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the
earth.
23-24:10 The
city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
23-24:18 And
it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the
pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare:
for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do
shake.
23-24:21 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of
the high ones that are on high, and
the kings of the earth upon the earth.

shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until
the indignation be overpast.

shall cause them that come of Jacob to take
root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
23-27:11 When
the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set
them on fire: for it is a people of
no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he
that formed them will shew them no favour.

it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the
channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by
one, O ye children of Israel.

it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown,
and they shall come which were ready to perish
in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall
worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
23-28:15 Because
ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at
agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and
under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
23-29:24 They
also that erred in spirit shall come to
understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.
23-30:6 The
burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from
whence come
the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry
their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the
bunches of camels, to a people that shall
not profit them.
23-30:8 Now
go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the
time to come for ever and ever:
23-30:29 Ye
shall have a song, as in the night when a
holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to
come into the mountain of the LORD, to the
mighty One of Israel.
23-31:4 For
thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring
on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice,
nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill
thereof.
23-32:10 Many
days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall
fail, the gathering shall not come.
23-32:13 Upon
the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of
joy in the joyous city:
23-34:1 Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye
people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things
that come forth of it.
23-34:3 Their
slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come
up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come
down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.
23-34:7 And
the unicorns shall come down with them, and the
bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their
dust made fat with fatness.
23-34:13 And
thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and
brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.

to them that are of a fearful heart,

recompence; he will come and save you.

the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come
to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy
and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

am I now come up without the LORD against this
land to destroy it? the LORD said unto me, Go up against this land, and destroy
it.
23-36:16 Hearken
not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a
present, and come out to me: and eat ye every
one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the
waters of his own cistern;
23-36:17 Until
I come and take you away to a land like your own
land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards.

they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the
children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.
23-37:9 And
he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah,

23-37:24 By
thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of
my chariots am I come up to the height of the
mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof,
and the choice fir trees thereof: and
I will enter into the height of his border, and
the forest of his Carmel.
23-37:29 Because
thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up
into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy
lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.
23-37:33 Therefore
thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against
it.
23-37:34 By
the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.
23-39:3 Then
came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these
men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon.
23-39:6 Behold,
the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in
store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith
the LORD.
23-40:10 Behold,
the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him:
behold, his reward is with him, and
his work before him.
23-41:1 Keep
silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near;
then let them speak: let us come near together
to judgment.
23-41:22 Let
them bring them forth, and shew us
what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know
the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.
23-41:23 Shew
the things that are to come hereafter, that we
may know that ye are gods: yea, do
good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.
23-41:25 I
have raised up one from the north,
and he shall come: from the rising of the sun
shall he call upon my name: and he shall come
upon princes as upon morter, and as
the potter treadeth clay.
23-42:9 Behold,
the former things are come to pass, and new
things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
23-42:23 Who
among you will give ear to this? who will
hearken and hear for the time to come?
23-44:7 And
who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since
I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
23-45:11 Thus
saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my
hands command ye me.
23-45:14 Thus
saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the
Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto
thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come
after thee; in chains they shall come over, and
they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none
else, there is no God.
23-45:20 Assemble
yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they
have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a
god that cannot save.
23-45:24 Surely,
shall one say, in the LORD have I
righteousness and strength: even to
him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
23-47:1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of
Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no
throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender
and delicate.
23-47:9 But
these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of
children, and widowhood: they shall come upon
thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine
enchantments.
23-47:11 Therefore
shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know
from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be
able to put it off: and desolation shall come
upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt
not know.
23-47:13 Thou
art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the
stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.
23-48:1 Hear
ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by
the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.
23-48:16 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken
in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his
Spirit, hath sent me.
23-49:12 Behold,
these shall come from far: and, lo, these from
the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.
23-49:18 Lift
up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come
to thee. As I live, saith the LORD,
thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them
on thee, as a bride doeth.
23-50:8 He is near that justifieth me; who will
contend with me? let us stand together: who is
mine adversary? let him come near to me.
23-51:11 Therefore
the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come
with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall
be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
23-51:19 These
two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee?
desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I
comfort thee?
23-52:1 Awake,
awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem,
the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come
into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
23-54:14 In
righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for
thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come
near thee.
23-55:1 Ho,
every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters,
and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and
eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money
and without price.
23-55:3 Incline
your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul
shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
23-55:13 Instead
of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and
instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle
tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
23-56:1 Thus
saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come,
and my righteousness to be revealed.
23-56:9 All
ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.
23-56:12 Come ye, say
they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and
to morrow shall be as this day, and much
more abundant.
23-57:1 The
righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it
to heart: and merciful men are taken
away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
23-59:19 So
shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the
rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in
like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
23-59:20 And
the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them
that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.
23-60:1 Arise,
shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of
the LORD is risen upon thee.
23-60:3 And
the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings
to the brightness of thy rising.
23-60:4 Lift
up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come
from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
23-60:5 Then
thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged;
because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of
the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
23-60:6 The
multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all
they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring
gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.
23-60:7 All
the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth
shall minister unto thee: they shall come up
with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
23-60:13 The
glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir
tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my
sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
23-60:14 The
sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come
bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at
the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion
of the Holy One of Israel.
23-63:4 For
the day of vengeance is in mine
heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
23-64:1 Oh
that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence.
23-65:5 Which
say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for
I am holier than thou. These are a
smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
23-65:17 For,
behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be
remembered, nor come into mind.
23-65:24 And
it shall come to pass, that before they call, I
will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
23-66:15 For,
behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with
his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke
with flames of fire.
23-66:18 For
I know their works and their
thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all
nations and tongues; and they shall come, and
see my glory.
23-66:23 And
it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another,
shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith
the LORD.
24-1:15 For,
lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD;
and they shall come, and they shall set every
one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the
walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
24-2:3 Israel
was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all
that devour him shall offend; evil shall come
upon them, saith the LORD.
24-2:31 O
generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel?
a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee?
24-3:16 And
it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and
increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more,
The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come
to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.
24-3:18 In
those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they
shall come together out of the land of the north
to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.
24-3:22 Return,
ye backsliding children, and I will
heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto
thee; for thou art the LORD our God.
24-4:4 Circumcise
yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of
Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come
forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
24-4:7 The
lion is come up from his thicket, and the
destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to
make thy land desolate; and thy
cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.
24-4:9 And
it shall come to pass at that day, saith the
LORD, that the heart of the king shall
perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and
the prophets shall wonder.
24-4:12 Even a full wind from those places shall come
unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.
24-4:13 Behold,
he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are
swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.
24-4:16 Make
ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come
from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.
24-5:12 They
have belied the LORD, and said, It is not
he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither
shall we see sword nor famine:
24-5:19 And
it shall come to pass, when ye shall say,
Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things
unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and
served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.
24-6:3 The
shepherds with their flocks shall come unto her;
they shall pitch their tents against
her round about; they shall feed every one in his place.
24-6:26 O
daughter of my people, gird thee with
sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an only son, most bitter
lamentation: for the spoiler shall suddenly come
upon us.
24-7:10 And
come and stand before me in this house, which is
called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?
24-7:32 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it
shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the
valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.
24-8:16 The
snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound
of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come,
and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that
dwell therein.
24-9:17 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that
they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come:
24-9:21 For
death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut
off the children from without, and the
young men from the streets.
24-9:25 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will
punish all them which are circumcised
with the uncircumcised;
24-10:22 Behold,
the noise of the bruit is come, and a great
commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.
24-12:9 Mine
heritage is unto me as a speckled bird, the birds round about
are against her; come ye, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour.
24-12:12 The
spoilers are come upon all high places through
the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall
have peace.
24-12:15 And
it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked
them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again,
every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.
24-12:16 And
it shall come to pass, if they will diligently
learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they
taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my
people.
24-13:18 Say
unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your
principalities shall come down, even the crown of your glory.
24-13:20 Lift
up your eyes, and behold them that come from the
north: where is the flock that was given thee, thy beautiful
flock?
24-13:22 And
if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these
things upon me? For the greatness of thine iniquity are thy skirts discovered, and thy heels made bare.
24-15:2 And
it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee,
Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such
as are for death, to death; and such
as are for the sword, to the sword;
and such as are for the famine, to
the famine; and such as are for the
captivity, to the captivity.
24-16:10 And
it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this
people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD
pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our
sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?
24-16:14 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it
shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel
out of the land of Egypt;
24-16:19 O
LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the
Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of
the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
24-17:15 Behold,
they say unto me, Where is the word
of the LORD? let it come now.
24-17:19 Thus
said the LORD unto me; Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people,
whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by the
which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem;
24-17:24 And
it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto
me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the
sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;
24-17:26 And
they shall come from the cities of Judah, and
from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the
plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings,
and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of
praise, unto the house of the LORD.
24-18:14 Will
a man leave the snow of Lebanon which cometh from the rock of the field?
or shall the cold flowing waters that
come from another place be forsaken?
24-18:18 Then
said they, Come, and let us devise devices
against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel
from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come,
and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his
words.
24-19:6 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that this
place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but
The valley of slaughter.
24-20:6 And
thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity: and
thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt
die, and shalt be buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast
prophesied lies.
24-21:13 Behold,
I am against thee, O inhabitant of
the valley, and rock of the plain,
saith the LORD; which say, Who shall come down
against us? or who shall enter into our habitations?
24-22:23 O
inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how gracious shalt
thou be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as
of a woman in travail!
24-23:5 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise
unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall
execute judgment and justice in the earth.
24-23:7 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they
shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out
of the land of Egypt;
24-23:17 They
say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace;
and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own
heart, No evil shall come upon you.
24-25:3 From
the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this
day, that is the three and twentieth
year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me,
and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not
hearkened.
24-25:12 And
it shall come to pass, when seventy years are
accomplished, that I will punish the
king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the
land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.
24-25:31 A
noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with
the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the
LORD.
24-26:2 Thus
saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD’S house, and speak unto all the
cities of Judah, which come to worship in the
LORD’S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish
not a word:
24-27:3 And
send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the
Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of
the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto
Zedekiah king of Judah;
24-27:7 And
all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son’s son, until the very
time of his land come: and then many nations and
great kings shall serve themselves of him.
24-27:8 And
it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same
Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the
yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with
the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed
them by his hand.
24-28:9 The
prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then
shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.
24-30:3 For,
lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will
bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I
will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they
shall possess it.
24-30:8 For
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the
LORD of hosts, that I will break his
yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more
serve themselves of him:
24-31:9 They
shall come with weeping, and with supplications
will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a
straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and
Ephraim is my firstborn.
24-31:12 Therefore
they shall come and sing in the height of Zion,
and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine,
and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul
shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
24-31:16 Thus
saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for
thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
24-31:17 And
there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.
24-31:27 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow
the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the
seed of beast.
24-31:28 And
it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break
down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over
them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.
24-31:31 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make
a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
24-31:38 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall
be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
24-32:7 Behold,
Hanameel the son of Shallum thine uncle shall come
unto thee, saying, Buy thee my field that is
in Anathoth: for the right of redemption is thine to buy it.
24-32:23 And
they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked
in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do:
therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come
upon them:
24-32:24 Behold
the mounts, they are come unto the city to take
it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against
it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what
thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold,
thou seest it.
24-32:29 And
the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come
and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they
have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods,
to provoke me to anger.
24-33:5 They
come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies
of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose
wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
24-33:14 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will
perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to
the house of Judah.
24-35:11 But
it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land,
that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem
for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians:
so we dwell at Jerusalem.
24-36:6 Therefore
go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words
of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD’S house upon the fasting day:
and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.
24-36:14 Therefore
all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son
of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast
read in the ears of the people, and come. So
Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.
24-36:29 And
thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast
burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of
Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this
land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?
24-37:5 Then
Pharaoh’s army was come forth out of Egypt: and
when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed
from Jerusalem.
24-37:7 Thus
saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that
sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh’s army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into
their own land.
24-37:8 And
the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight
against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire.
24-37:19 Where
are now your prophets which
prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land?
24-38:25 But
if the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and say unto thee, Declare unto us now
what thou hast said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put thee
to death; also what the king said unto thee:
24-40:3 Now
the LORD hath brought it, and done
according as he hath said: because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have
not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing is come
upon you.
24-40:4 And
now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come;
and I will look well unto thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the
land is before thee: whither it
seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.
24-40:10 As
for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah, to serve the Chaldeans, which will come unto us: but ye, gather ye wine, and summer
fruits, and oil, and put them in your
vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.
24-41:6 And
Ishmael the son of Nethaniah went forth from Mizpah to meet them, weeping all
along as he went: and it came to pass, as he met them, he said unto them, Come to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam.
24-42:4 Then
Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray unto the LORD your God according to your
words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever thing the LORD shall
answer you, I will declare it unto
you; I will keep nothing back from you.
24-42:16 Then
it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the
land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were afraid, shall follow close after
you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die.
24-46:9 Come up, ye horses; and rage, ye chariots; and let the
mighty men come forth; the Ethiopians and the
Libyans, that handle the shield; and the Lydians, that handle and bend the bow.
24-46:13 The
word that the LORD spake to Jeremiah the prophet, how Nebuchadrezzar king of
Babylon should come and smite the land of Egypt.
24-46:18 As I live, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by
the sea, so shall he come.
24-46:21 Also
her hired men are in the midst of her
like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back, and are fled away together: they did not stand, because the day of
their calamity was come upon them, and the time of their visitation.
24-46:22 The
voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they shall march with an army, and come against her with axes, as hewers of wood.
24-47:5 Baldness
is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off with the remnant of their valley: how
long wilt thou cut thyself?
24-48:2 There shall be no more praise of Moab:
in Heshbon they have devised evil against it; come,
and let us cut it off from being a
nation. Also thou shalt be cut down, O Madmen; the sword shall pursue thee.
24-48:8 And
the spoiler shall come upon every city, and no
city shall escape: the valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be
destroyed, as the LORD hath spoken.
24-48:12 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I
will send unto him wanderers, that shall cause him to wander, and shall empty
his vessels, and break their bottles.
24-48:16 The
calamity of Moab is near to come, and his affliction hasteth fast.
24-48:18 Thou
daughter that dost inhabit Dibon, come down from
thy glory, and sit in thirst; for the
spoiler of Moab shall come upon thee, and he shall destroy thy strong holds.
24-48:21 And
judgment is come upon the plain country; upon
Holon, and upon Jahazah, and upon Mephaath,
24-48:45 They
that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a fire
shall come forth out of Heshbon, and a flame
from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of
the head of the tumultuous ones.
24-49:2 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I
will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall
be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall
Israel be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith the LORD.
24-49:4 Wherefore
gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that
trusted in her treasures, saying, Who
shall come unto me?
24-49:9 If
grapegatherers come to thee, would they not
leave some gleaning grapes? if
thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough.
24-49:14 I
have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying, Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle.
24-49:19 Behold,
he shall come up like a lion from the swelling
of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him
run away from her: and who is a
chosen man, that I may appoint over
her? for who is like me? and who will
appoint me the time? and who is that
shepherd that will stand before me?
24-49:22 Behold,
he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and
spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men
of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
24-49:36 And
upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and
will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither
the outcasts of Elam shall not come.
24-49:39 But
it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of
Elam, saith the LORD.
24-50:4 In
those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going
and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.
24-50:5 They
shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join
ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.
24-50:9 For,
lo, I will raise and cause to come up against
Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set
themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none
shall return in vain.
24-50:26 Come against her from the utmost border, open her
storehouses: cast her up as heaps, and destroy her utterly: let nothing of her
be left.
24-50:27 Slay
all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe unto them! for their
day is come, the time of their visitation.
24-50:31 Behold,
I am against thee, O thou most proud, saith the Lord GOD of
hosts: for thy day is come, the time that I will visit thee.
24-50:41 Behold,
a people shall come from the north, and a great
nation, and many kings shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
24-50:44 Behold,
he shall come up like a lion from the swelling
of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong: but I will make them suddenly run
away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for
who is like me? and who will appoint
me the time? and who is that shepherd
that will stand before me?
24-51:10 The
LORD hath brought forth our righteousness: come,
and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.
24-51:13 O
thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the
measure of thy covetousness.
24-51:27 Set
ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the
nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni,
and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillars.
24-51:33 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little
while, and the time of her harvest shall come.
24-51:42 The
sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with
the multitude of the waves thereof.
24-51:46 And
lest your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the
land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in
the land, ruler against ruler.
24-51:47 Therefore,
behold, the days come, that I will do judgment
upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and
all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.
24-51:48 Then
the heaven and the earth, and all that is
therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, saith the LORD.
24-51:50 Ye
that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar
off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.
24-51:51 We
are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame hath covered our faces:
for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of
the LORD’S house.
24-51:52 Wherefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I
will do judgment upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded
shall groan.
24-51:53 Though
Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of
her strength, yet from me shall
spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD.
24-51:56 Because
the spoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men
are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompenses
shall surely requite.
24-51:60 So
Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come
upon Babylon, even all these words
that are written against Babylon.
25-1:4 The
ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the
solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are
afflicted, and she is in bitterness.
25-1:14 The
yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, and come
up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall, the Lord hath delivered me
into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up.
25-1:22 Let
all their wickedness come before thee; and do
unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all
my transgressions: for my sighs are many,
and my heart is faint.
25-3:47 Fear
and a snare is come upon us, desolation and
destruction.
25-4:18 They
hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets: our end is near, our days are
fulfilled; for our end is come.
25-5:1 Remember,
O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and
behold our reproach.
26-5:4 Then
take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in
the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
26-7:2 Also,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the
end is come upon the four corners of the land.
26-7:3 Now
is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine
anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense
upon thee all thine abominations.
26-7:5 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
26-7:6 An
end is come, the end is come:
it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.
26-7:7 The
morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest
in the land: the time is come, the day of
trouble is near, and not the sounding
again of the mountains.
26-7:10 Behold
the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone
forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.
26-7:12 The
time is come, the day draweth near: let not the
buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
26-7:26 Mischief
shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be
upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall
perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.
26-9:6 Slay
utterly old and young, both maids,
and little children, and women: but come not
near any man upon whom is the mark;
and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
26-11:5 And
the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the
LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.
26-11:16 Therefore
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the
heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be
to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.
26-11:18 And
they shall come thither, and they shall take away
all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
26-12:16 But
I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the
pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen
whither they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-12:25 For
I am the LORD: I will speak, and the
word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it
shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say
the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-12:27 Son
of man, behold, they of the house of
Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for
many days to come,
and he prophesieth of the times that
are far off.
26-13:18 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women
that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every
stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save
the souls alive that come unto you?
26-14:22 Yet,
behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they
shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see
their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that
I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning
all that I have brought upon it.
26-16:7 I
have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased
and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent
ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned,
and thine hair is grown, whereas thou wast
naked and bare.
26-16:16 And
of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers
colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the
like things shall not come, neither shall it
be so.
26-16:33 They
give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and
hirest them, that they may come unto thee on
every side for thy whoredom.
26-17:12 Say
now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold,
the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and
hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to
Babylon;
26-18:6 And hath not eaten upon the mountains,
neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither
hath defiled his neighbour’s wife, neither hath come
near to a menstruous woman,
26-20:3 Son
of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
not be enquired of by you.
26-21:19 Also,
thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon
may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place,
choose it at the head of the way to
the city.
26-21:20 Appoint
a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the
Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced.
26-21:24 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered,
in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your
sins do appear; because, I say, that
ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken
with the hand.
26-21:25 And
thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come,
when iniquity shall have an end,
26-21:27 I
will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it
is; and I will give it him.
26-21:29 Whiles
they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee
upon the necks of them that are slain,
of the wicked, whose day is come, when their
iniquity shall have an end.
26-22:3 Then
say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it,
that her time may come, and maketh idols against
herself to defile herself.
26-22:4 Thou
art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in
thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near,
and art come even
unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and
a mocking to all countries.
26-23:24 And
they shall come against thee with chariots,
wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round
about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according
to their judgments.
26-23:40 And
furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come
from far, unto whom a messenger was sent;
and, lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thy eyes, and
deckedst thyself with ornaments,
26-24:8 That
it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance;
I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.
26-24:14 I
the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I
repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge
thee, saith the Lord GOD.
26-24:26 That he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears?
26-26:3 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come
up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come
up.
26-26:16 Then
all the princes of the sea shall come down from
their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments:
they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground,
and shall tremble at every moment,
and be astonished at thee.
26-27:29 And
all that handle the oar, the mariners, and
all the pilots of the sea, shall come down
from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;
26-30:4 And
the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain
shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take
away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.
26-30:6 Thus
saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her
power shall come down: from the tower of Syene
shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
26-30:9 In
that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless
Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come
upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.
26-32:11 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.
26-33:3 If
when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he
blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
26-33:4 Then
whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the
sword come, and take him away, his blood shall
be upon his own head.
26-33:6 But
if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not
the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person
from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require
at the watchman’s hand.
26-33:30 Also,
thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by
the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one
to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and
hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.
26-33:31 And
they come unto thee as the people cometh, and
they sit before thee as my people,
and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they
shew much love, but their heart goeth
after their covetousness.
26-33:33 And
when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,)
then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.
26-34:26 And
I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will
cause the shower to come down in his season;
there shall be showers of blessing.
26-36:8 But
ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your
fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.
26-37:9 Then
said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the
wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the
four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
26-37:12 Therefore
prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I
will open your graves, and cause you to come up
out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
26-38:8 After
many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that
is brought back from the sword, and
is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have
been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall
dwell safely all of them.
26-38:9 Thou
shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt
be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people
with thee.
26-38:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil
thought:
26-38:13 Sheba,
and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof,
shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a
spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and
gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
26-38:15 And
thou shalt come from thy place out of the north
parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great
company, and a mighty army:
26-38:16 And
thou shalt come up against my people of Israel,
as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring
thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified
in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
26-38:18 And
it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog
shall come against the land of Israel, saith the
Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
26-39:2 And
I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause
thee to come up from the north parts, and will
bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
26-39:8 Behold,
it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD;
this is the day whereof I have
spoken.
26-39:11 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there
of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and
it shall stop the noses of the
passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall
call it The valley of Hamongog.
26-39:17 And,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and
to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come;
gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the
mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
26-40:46 And
the chamber whose prospect is toward
the north is for the priests, the keepers
of the charge of the altar: these are the
sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come
near to the LORD to minister unto him.
26-44:13 And
they shall not come near unto me, to do the
office of a priest unto me, nor to come near to
any of my holy things, in the most holy place:
but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have
committed.
26-44:15 But
the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my
sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall
stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:
26-44:16 They
shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come
near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.
26-44:17 And
it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall
be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come
upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.
26-44:25 And
they shall come at no dead person to defile
themselves: but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for
brother, or for sister that hath had no husband, they may defile themselves.
26-45:4 The
holy portion of the land shall be for
the priests the ministers of the sanctuary, which shall come near to minister unto the LORD: and it shall be a place for
their houses, and an holy place for the sanctuary.
26-46:9 But
when the people of the land shall come before
the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of the north gate
to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by
the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall
not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over
against it.
26-47:9 And
it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the
rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall
be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every
thing shall live whither the river cometh.
26-47:10 And
it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim;
they shall be a place to spread forth
nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great
sea, exceeding many.
26-47:20 The
west side also shall be the great sea
from the border, till a man come over against
Hamath. This is the west side.
26-47:22 And
it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to
the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and
they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel;
they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
26-47:23 And
it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.
27-2:29 As
for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into
thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to
pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass.
27-2:45 Forasmuch
as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and
that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the
gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation
thereof sure.
27-3:2 Then
Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and
the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and
all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the
dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
27-3:26 Then
Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach,
and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come
forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst
of the fire.
27-4:24 This
is the interpretation, O king, and
this is the decree of the most High,
which is come upon my lord the king:
27-8:7 And
I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was
moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and
there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the
ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out
of his hand.
27-8:23 And
in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and
understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
27-9:13 As
it is written in the law of Moses,
all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not
our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and
understand thy truth.
27-9:22 And
he informed me, and talked with me,
and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give
thee skill and understanding.
27-9:23 At
the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee;
for thou art greatly beloved:
therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
27-9:26 And
after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself:
and the people of the prince that shall come
shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end
of the war desolations are determined.
27-10:12 Then
said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set
thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words
were heard, and I am come for thy words.
27-10:14 Now
I am come to make thee understand what shall
befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.
27-10:20 Then
said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto
thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am
gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
27-11:6 And
in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s daughter
of the south shall come to the king of the north
to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither
shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought
her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.
27-11:7 But
out of a branch of her roots shall one stand
up in his estate, which shall come with an army,
and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal
against them, and shall prevail:
27-11:9 So
the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his
own land.
27-11:10 But
his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces:
and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return,
and be stirred up, even to his
fortress.
27-11:11 And
the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great
multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.
27-11:13 For
the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater
than the former, and shall certainly come after
certain years with a great army and with much riches.
27-11:15 So
the king of the north shall come, and cast up a
mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not
withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.
27-11:21 And
in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the
honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in
peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
27-11:23 And
after the league made with him he
shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up,
and shall become strong with a small people.
27-11:29 At
the time appointed he shall return, and come
toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.
27-11:30 For
the ships of Chittim shall come against him:
therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the
holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with
them that forsake the holy covenant.
27-11:40 And
at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of
the north shall come against him like a whirlwind,
with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into
the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
27-11:45 And
he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious
holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and
none shall help him.
28-1:5 And
it shall come to pass at that day, that I will
break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.
28-1:10 Yet
the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which
cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come
to pass, that in the place where it
was said unto them, Ye are not my
people, there it shall be said unto
them, Ye are the sons of the living
God.
28-1:11 Then
shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together,
and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come
up out of the land: for great shall be the
day of Jezreel.
28-2:21 And
it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear,
saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;
28-4:15 Though
thou, Israel, play the harlot, yet let
not Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal,
neither go ye up to Bethaven, nor swear, The LORD liveth.
28-6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn,
and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
28-6:3 Then
shall we know, if we follow on to
know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
28-8:1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come
as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed
my covenant, and trespassed against my law.
28-9:4 They
shall not offer wine offerings to the
LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of
mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their
soul shall not come into the house of the LORD.
28-9:7 The
days of visitation are come, the days of
recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is
mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.
28-10:8 The
high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and
the thistle shall come up on their altars; and
they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.
28-10:12 Sow
to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for
it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
28-13:13 The
sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon
him: he is an unwise son; for he
should not stay long in the place of the
breaking forth of children.
28-13:15 Though
he be fruitful among his brethren, an
east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall
come up from the wilderness, and his spring
shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the
treasure of all pleasant vessels.
29-1:6 For
a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and
without number, whose teeth are the
teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.
29-1:13 Gird
yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my
God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house
of your God.
29-1:15 Alas
for the day! for the day of the LORD is at
hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
29-2:20 But
I will remove far off from you the northern army,
and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward
the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
29-2:23 Be
glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath
given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the
latter rain in the first month.
29-2:28 And
it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all
flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall
dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29-2:31 The
sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great
and the terrible day of the LORD come.
29-2:32 And
it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be
delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD
hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
29-3:9 Proclaim
ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the
men of war draw near; let them come up:
29-3:11 Assemble
yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather
yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
29-3:12 Let
the heathen be wakened, and come up to the
valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round
about.
29-3:13 Put
ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come,
get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
29-3:18 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new
wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall
flow with waters, and a fountain shall come
forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
30-4:2 The
Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks,
and your posterity with fishhooks.
30-4:4 Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply
transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:
30-4:10 I
have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men
have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made
the stink of your camps to come up unto your
nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
30-5:5 But
seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal
shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come
to nought.

strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.

in one house, that they shall die.

of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

it shall come to pass in that day, saith the
Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the
earth in the clear day:

the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will
send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but
of hearing the words of the LORD:

the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman
shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and
the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.

the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.

the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it

earth.

heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the
prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.

in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the

above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,

shall I come before him with burnt offerings,

Gentiles, which lifted up their horn
