02-14:7 And
he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the
chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.
02-15:4 Pharaoh’s
chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen
captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
04-NUMBERS
04-16:5 And
he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD
will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
05-7:6 For
thou art an holy people unto the LORD
thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be
a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
05-12:21 If
the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to
put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and
of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou
shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
05-14:2 For
thou art an holy people unto the LORD
thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a
peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
05-16:11 And
thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy
daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger,
and the fatherless, and the widow, that are
among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.
05-18:5 For
the LORD thy God hath chosen him out of all thy
tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the LORD, him and his sons for
ever.
05-21:5 And
the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name
of the LORD; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried:
06-24:22 And
Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses
against yourselves that ye have chosen you the
LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are
witnesses.
07-10:14 Go
and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let
them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.
07-20:15 And
the children of Benjamin were numbered at that time out of the cities twenty
and six thousand men that drew sword, beside the inhabitants of Gibeah, which
were numbered seven hundred chosen men.
07-20:16 Among
all this people there were seven
hundred chosen men lefthanded; every one could
sling stones at an hair breadth, and
not miss.
07-20:34 And
there came against Gibeah ten thousand chosen
men out of all Israel, and the battle was sore: but they knew not that evil was near them.
09-8:18 And
ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that
day.
09-10:24 And
Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom the LORD hath chosen, that there
is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and
said, God save the king.
09-12:13 Now
therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have desired! and, behold,
the LORD hath set a king over you.
09-16:8 Then
Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither
hath the LORD chosen this.
09-16:9 Then
Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.
09-16:10 Again,
Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse,
The LORD hath not chosen these.
09-20:30 Then
Saul’s anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said unto him, Thou son of
the perverse rebellious woman, do not
I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to
thine own confusion, and unto the confusion of thy mother’s nakedness?
09-24:2 Then
Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all
Israel, and went to seek David and his men upon the rocks of the wild goats.
09-26:2 Then
Saul arose, and went down to the wilderness of Ziph, having three thousand chosen men of Israel with him, to seek David in the
wilderness of Ziph.
10-6:1 Again,
David gathered together all the chosen men of
Israel, thirty thousand.
11-3:8 And
thy servant is in the midst of thy
people which thou hast chosen, a great people,
that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.
11-8:44 If
thy people go out to battle against their enemy, whithersoever thou shalt send
them, and shall pray unto the LORD toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward
the house that I have built for thy name:
11-8:48 And
so return unto thee with all their
heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them
away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto
their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen,
and the house which I have built for thy name:
11-11:13 Howbeit
I will not rend away all the kingdom; but
will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant’s sake, and for
Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen.
11-11:32 (But
he shall have one tribe for my servant David’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake,
the city which I have chosen out of all the
tribes of Israel:)
11-11:36 And
unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light
alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen
me to put my name there.
11-12:21 And
when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with
the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against the
house of Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon.
12-21:7 And
he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the
LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem,
which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel,
will I put my name for ever:
12-23:27 And
the LORD said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel,
and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen,
and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.
13-9:22 All
these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by their genealogy
in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their set
office.
13-15:2 Then
David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath
the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to
minister unto him for ever.
13-16:13 O
ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
13-16:41 And
with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen,
who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever;
13-28:4 Howbeit
the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king
over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of
Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to
make me king over all Israel:
13-28:5 And
of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the
kingdom of the LORD over Israel.
13-28:6 And
he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I
have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
13-28:10 Take
heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build
an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.
13-29:1 Furthermore
David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God
hath chosen, is
yet young and tender, and the work is
great: for the palace is not for
man, but for the LORD God.
14-6:6 But
I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be
there; and have chosen David to be over my
people Israel.
14-6:34 If
thy people go out to war against their enemies by the way that thou shalt send
them, and they pray unto thee toward this city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name;
14-6:38 If
they return to thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of
their captivity, whither they have carried them captives, and pray toward their
land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, and toward the city which thou hast chosen,
and toward the house which I have built for thy name:
14-7:12 And
the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy
prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for
an house of sacrifice.
14-7:16 For
now have I chosen and sanctified this house,
that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there
perpetually.
14-11:1 And
when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and
Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen
men, which were warriors, to fight
against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.
14-12:13 So
king Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned: for Rehoboam was one and forty years old when he
began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the
LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel,
to put his name there. And his mother’s name was Naamah an Ammonitess.
14-13:3 And
Abijah set the battle in array with an army of valiant men of war, even four hundred thousand chosen men: Jeroboam also set the battle in array
against him with eight hundred thousand chosen
men, being mighty men of valour.
14-13:17 And
Abijah and his people slew them with a great slaughter: so there fell down
slain of Israel five hundred thousand chosen
men.
14-29:11 My
sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen
you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him,
and burn incense.
14-33:7 And
he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of
which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in
Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the
tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
16-1:9 But
if ye turn unto me, and keep my
commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost
part of the heaven, yet will I gather
them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.
18-36:21 Take
heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen
rather than affliction.
19-33:12 Blessed
is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he
hath chosen for his own inheritance.
19-78:31 The
wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of
Israel.
19-89:3 I
have made a covenant with my chosen, I have
sworn unto David my servant,
19-89:19 Then
thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen
out of the people.
19-105:6 O
ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
19-105:26 He
sent Moses his servant; and Aaron
whom he had chosen.
19-105:43 And
he brought forth his people with joy, and
his chosen with gladness:
19-106:5 That
I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may
rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
19-106:23 Therefore
he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen
stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
19-119:30 I
have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have
I laid before me.
19-119:173 Let
thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy
precepts.
19-132:13 For
the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
19-135:4 For
the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.
20-16:16 How
much better is it to get wisdom than
gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen
than silver!
20-22:1 A
good name is rather to be chosen than great
riches, and loving favour rather than
silver and gold.
23-1:29 For
they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be
confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen.
23-41:8 But
thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob
whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my
friend.
23-41:9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of
the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou
art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
23-43:10 Ye
are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and
my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know
and believe me, and understand that I am he:
before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
23-43:20 The
beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give
waters in the wilderness, and rivers
in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
23-44:1 Yet
now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
23-44:2 Thus
saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob,
my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
23-48:10 Behold,
I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen
thee in the furnace of affliction.
23-58:5 Is
it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a
man to afflict his soul? is it to bow
down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast,
and an acceptable day to the LORD?
23-58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the
heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
23-65:15 And
ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen:
for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
23-66:3 He
that killeth an ox is as if he slew a
man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he
cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have
chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth
in their abominations.
24-8:3 And
death shall be chosen rather than life by all
the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the
places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts.
24-33:24 Considerest
thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD
hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus
they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
24-48:15 Moab
is spoiled, and gone up out of her cities,
and his chosen young men are gone down to the
slaughter, saith the King, whose name is the
LORD of hosts.
24-49:19 Behold,
he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation
of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen
man, that I may appoint over her? for
who is like me? and who will appoint
me the time? and who is that shepherd
that will stand before me?
24-50:44 Behold,
he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of
the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is a chosen
man, that I may appoint over her? for
who is like me? and who will appoint
me the time? and who is that shepherd
that will stand before me?
26-23:7 Thus
she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria,
and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.
27-11:15 So
the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced
cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.
37-2:23 In
that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant,
the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I
have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
38-3:2 And
the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that
hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the
fire?
40-12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I
will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
40-20:16 So the last shall be first, and the
first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
40-22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
41-13:20 And except that the Lord had
shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom
he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
42-10:42 But one thing is needful: and Mary
hath chosen that good part, which shall not be
taken away from her.
42-23:35 And the people stood beholding. And
the rulers also with them derided him, saying,
He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.
43-6:70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
43-13:18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I
have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled,
He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
43-15:16 Ye have not chosen
me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you,
that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the
Father in my name, he may give it you.
43-15:19 If ye were of the world, the world
would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world
hateth you.
44-1:2 Until the day in which he was taken
up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles
whom he had chosen:
44-1:24 And they prayed, and said, Thou,
Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men,
shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,
44-9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy
way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear
my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
44-10:41 Not to all the people, but unto
witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with
him after he rose from the dead.
44-15:22 Then pleased it the apostles and
elders, with the whole church, to send chosen
men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and
Silas, chief men among the brethren:
44-15:25 It seemed good unto us, being
assembled with one accord, to send chosen men
unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
44-22:14 And he said, The God of our fathers
hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his
will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
45-16:13 Salute Rufus chosen
in the Lord, and his mother and mine.
46-1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and
God hath chosen the weak things of the world to
confound the things which are mighty;
46-1:28 And base things of the world, and
things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring
to nought things that are:
47-8:19 And not that only, but who was also chosen
of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us
to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration
of your ready mind:
49-1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
53-2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway
to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the
beginning chosen you to salvation through
sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
55-2:4 No man that warreth entangleth
himself with the affairs of this life;
that he may please him who hath chosen him to be
a soldier.
59-2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath
not God chosen the poor of this world rich in
faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
60-2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed
indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
60-2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,
an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him
who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
66-17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb,
and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings:
and they that are with him are called,
and chosen, and faithful.
