40-22:17 Tell us
therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
40-22:21 They say
unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s;
and unto God the things that are God’s.
41-12:14 And when they were come, they say unto him,
Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou
regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it
lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or
not?
41-12:17 And Jesus
answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the
things that are God’s. And they marvelled at him.
42-2:1 And it
came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world
should be taxed.
42-3:1 Now in the
fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and
Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and
of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene,
42-20:22 Is it
lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
42-20:25 And he
said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the
things which be God’s.
42-23:2 And they
began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow
perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is
Christ a King.
43-19:12 And from
thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If
thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar’s friend: whosoever maketh himself a
king speaketh against Caesar.
43-19:15 But they
cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto
them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king
but Caesar.
44-11:28 And there
stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there
should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days
of Claudius Caesar.
44-17:7 Whom
Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is
another king, one Jesus.
44-25:8 While he
answered for himself, Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against the
temple, nor yet against Caesar, have
I offended any thing at all.
44-25:11 For if I
be an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to
die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may
deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar.
44-25:12 Then
Festus, when he had conferred with the council, answered, Hast thou appealed
unto Caesar? unto
Caesar shalt thou go.
44-25:21 But when
Paul had appealed to be reserved unto the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him
to be kept till I might send him to Caesar.
44-26:32 Then said
Agrippa unto Festus, This man might have been set at liberty, if he had not
appealed unto Caesar.
44-27:24 Saying,
Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail
with thee.
44-28:19 But when
the Jews spake against it, I was
constrained to appeal unto Caesar; not
that I had ought to accuse my nation of.

brought it. And he saith unto them,
Whose is this image and

41-12:17 And Jesus
answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things

42-20:24 Shew me a

thou very well knowest.

40-16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his
disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
41-8:27 And Jesus went out, and his
disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his
disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?
44-8:40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and
passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.
44-9:30 Which
when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.
44-10:1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a
centurion of the band called the Italian band,
44-10:24 And the morrow after they entered
into Caesarea.
And Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his kinsmen and near
friends.
44-11:11 And, behold, immediately there were
three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.
44-12:19 And when Herod had sought for him,
and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that they should be put to death. And he went
down from Judaea to Caesarea,
and there abode.
44-18:22 And when he had landed at Caesarea, and gone up, and saluted
the church, he went down to Antioch.
44-21:8 And the next day we that were of Paul’s company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the
house of Philip the evangelist, which was one
of the seven; and abode with him.
44-21:16 There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one
Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.
44-23:23 And he called unto him two centurions, saying, Make ready
two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen
two hundred, at the third hour of the night;
44-23:33 Who, when they came to Caesarea, and delivered the epistle
to the governor, presented Paul also before him.
44-25:1 Now when Festus was come into the
province, after three days he ascended from Caesarea to Jerusalem.
44-25:4 But Festus answered, that Paul
should be kept at Caesarea,
and that he himself would depart shortly thither.
44-25:6 And when he had tarried among them
more than ten days, he went down unto Caesarea; and the next day sitting on the judgment seat
commanded Paul to be brought.
44-25:13 And after certain days king Agrippa
and Bernice came unto Caesarea to
salute Festus.

40-26:3 Then assembled together the chief
priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the
high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
40-26:57 And they that had laid hold on Jesus
led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the
scribes and the elders were assembled.
42-3:2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came
unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
43-11:49 And one of them, named Caiaphas,
being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
43-18:13 And led him away to Annas first; for
he was father in law to Caiaphas,
which was the high priest that same year.
43-18:14 Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that
it was expedient that one man should die for the people.
43-18:24 Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.
43-18:28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment:
and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest
they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.
44-4:6 And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander,
and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together
at Jerusalem.

01-4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she
conceived, and bare Cain, and
said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

01-4:3 And in process of time it came to

01-4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass,

01-4:9 And

01-4:13 And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
01-4:15 And the LORD said unto him,
Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain,

01-4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt
in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
01-4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch:
and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his
son, Enoch.
01-4:24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy

01-4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and
she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
06-15:57 Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their

58-11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a
more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was
righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
62-3:12 Not as Cain, who was
of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because
his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.
65-1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in

on mules, and on oxen, and meat,
meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and
wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly: for there was joy in Israel.

children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink
offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
24-44:19 And
when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings
unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her,

see it, and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his
children, because he hath wholly followed the LORD.
06-14:6 Then the children of Judah came unto
Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the
son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the
LORD said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadeshbarnea.
06-14:13 And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto
Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron
for an inheritance.
06-14:14 Hebron therefore became the
inheritance of Caleb the
son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed
the LORD God of Israel.
06-15:13 And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the
children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of
Anak, which city is Hebron.
06-15:14 And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and
Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
06-15:16 And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh
it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
06-15:17 And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the
brother of Caleb, took
it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.
06-15:18 And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of
her father a field: and she lighted off her
ass; and Caleb said
unto her, What wouldest thou?
06-21:12 But the fields of the city, and the
villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
07-1:12 And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh
it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
07-1:14 And it came to pass, when she came to him, that she moved him to ask of her
father a field: and she lighted from off her
ass; and Caleb said
unto her, What wilt thou?
07-1:15 And she said unto him, Give me a
blessing: for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water.
And Caleb gave
her the upper springs and the nether springs.
07-1:20 And they gave Hebron unto Caleb, as Moses said: and he
expelled thence the three sons of Anak.
09-25:3 Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife
Abigail: and she was a woman of good
understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man was churlish and evil in his doings; and he was of the house of Caleb.
09-30:14 We made an invasion upon the south of the Cherethites, and
upon the coast which belongeth to Judah, and upon the south
of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with
fire.
13-2:18 And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife,
and of Jerioth: her sons are these;
Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
13-2:19 And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which
bare him Hur.
13-2:42 Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the
father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
13-2:49 She bare also Shaaph the father of
Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the
daughter of Caleb was Achsa.
13-2:50 These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn
of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjathjearim,
13-4:15 And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh; Iru,
Elah, and Naam: and the sons of Elah, even Kenaz.
13-6:56 But the fields of the city, and the
villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

01-18:7 And Abraham ran unto the herd, and
fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to
dress it.
01-18:8 And he took butter, and milk, and
the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them
under the tree, and they did eat.
02-32:4 And
he received them at their hand, and
fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of
Egypt.
02-32:8 They
have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made
them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and
have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be
thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
02-32:19 And
it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and
he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
02-32:20 And
he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children
of Israel drink of it.

unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me:

LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf,

young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a
burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them
before the LORD.
03-9:3 And unto the children of Israel
thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both
of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering;
03-9:8 Aaron therefore went unto the
altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering,
which was for himself.
05-9:16 And I
looked, and, behold, ye had sinned against the LORD your God, and had made you a molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which
the LORD had commanded you.
05-9:21 And I
took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and
burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground
it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof
into the brook that descended out of the mount.

molten calf, and said, This is thy God that brought thee up out of Egypt, and had wrought great
provocations;

not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf.

in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.

shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie
down, and consume the branches thereof.

transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words of the covenant
which they had made before me, when they cut the calf
in twain, and passed between the parts thereof.
24-34:19 The princes of Judah, and the princes
of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land,
which passed between the parts of the calf;
28-8:5 Thy calf,
O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine
anger is kindled against them: how long will
it be ere they attain to innocency?
28-8:6 For from Israel was it also: the workman made it;
therefore it is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.
42-15:23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it;
and let us eat, and be merry:

come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf,

merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers,
and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company
