01-GENESIS
01-40:1 And it
came to pass after these things, that the
butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the
king of Egypt.
01-40:5 And they
dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man
according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler
and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were
bound in the prison.
01-40:9 And the
chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said
to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before
me;
01-40:13 Yet within
three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place:
and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, after the former manner
when thou wast his butler.
01-40:20 And it
came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s
birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head
of the chief butler and of the chief baker among
his servants.
01-40:21 And he
restored the chief butler unto his butlership
again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand:
01-40:23 Yet did
not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat
him.
01-41:9 Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:

01-18:8 And he
took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had
dressed, and set it before them; and
he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-32:14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs,
and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat;
and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.
07-5:25 He asked water, and she gave him milk;
she brought forth butter in a lordly dish.
10-17:29 And honey,
and butter, and sheep, and cheese of kine, for
David, and for the people that were with
him, to eat: for they said, The people is
hungry, and weary, and thirsty, in the wilderness.
18-20:17 He shall
not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter.
18-29:6 When I
washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured
me out rivers of oil;
19-55:21 The words of his mouth were smoother
than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.
20-30:33 Surely the
churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the
wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth
forth strife.
23-7:15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to
refuse the evil, and choose the good.
23-7:22 And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of
milk that they shall give he shall
eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one
eat that is left in the land.

10-10:4 Wherefore
Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved off the one half of their beards, and
cut off their garments in the middle, even

13-1 CHRONICLES
13-19:4 Wherefore
Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved them, and cut off their garments in the
midst hard by their buttocks, and sent them
away.
23-20:4 So shall
the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians
captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the
shame of Egypt.

01-GENESIS
01-41:57 And all
countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.
01-42:2 And he
said, Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: get you down thither,
and buy for us from thence; that we may live,
and not die.
01-42:3 And
Joseph’s ten brethren went down to buy corn in
Egypt.
01-42:5 And the
sons of Israel came to buy corn among those that came: for the famine was in the land of
Canaan.
01-42:7 And
Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them,
and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they
said, From the land of Canaan to buy food.
01-42:10 And they
said unto him, Nay, my lord, but to buy food are
thy servants come.
01-43:2 And it
came to pass, when they had eaten up the corn which they had brought out of
Egypt, their father said unto them, Go again, buy
us a little food.
01-43:4 If thou
wilt send our brother with us, we will go down and buy
thee food:
01-43:20 And said,
O sir, we came indeed down at the first time to buy
food:
01-43:22 And other
money have we brought down in our hands to buy
food: we cannot tell who put our money in our sacks.
01-44:25 And our
father said, Go again, and buy us a little food.
01-47:19 Wherefore
shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy
us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh:
and give us seed, that we may live,
and not die, that the land be not desolate.
02-21:2 If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and
in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.
03-22:11 But if the
priest buy any
soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house:
they shall eat of his meat.
03-25:15 According
to the number of years after the jubile thou shalt buy
of thy neighbour, and according unto
the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:
03-25:44 Both thy
bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.
03-25:45 Moreover
of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your
possession.
05-2:6 Ye shall
buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and
ye shall also buy water of them for money, that
ye may drink.
05-28:68 And the
LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake
unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto
your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
08-4:4 And I
thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before
the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if
thou wilt not redeem it, then tell
me, that I may know: for there is none
to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will
redeem it.
08-4:5 Then said
Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also
of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead
upon his inheritance.
08-4:8 Therefore
the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe.
10-24:21 And
Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David
said, To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to
build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people.
10-24:24 And the
king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy
it of thee at a price: neither will I
offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing.
So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
12-12:12 And to
masons, and hewers of stone, and to buy timber
and hewed stone to repair the breaches of the house of the LORD, and for all
that was laid out for the house to repair it.
12-22:6 Unto
carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy
timber and hewn stone to repair the house.
13-21:24 And king
David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy
it for the full price: for I will not take that
which is thine for the LORD, nor
offer burnt offerings without cost.
14-34:11 Even to
the artificers and builders gave they it,
to buy hewn stone, and timber for couplings,
and to floor the houses which the kings of Judah had destroyed.
15-7:17 That thou
mayest buy speedily with this money bullocks,
rams, lambs, with their meat offerings and their drink offerings, and offer
them upon the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem.
16-5:3 Some also there were that said, We have
mortgaged our lands, vineyards, and houses, that we might buy corn, because of the dearth.
16-10:31 And if the people of the land bring ware or
any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that
we would not buy it of them on the sabbath,
or on the holy day: and that we would
leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.
20-23:23 Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and
understanding.
23-55:1 Ho, every
one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy
wine and milk without money and without price.
24-32:7 Behold,
Hanameel the son of Shallum thine uncle shall come unto thee, saying, Buy thee my field that is in Anathoth: for the right of redemption is thine to buy it.
24-32:8 So Hanameel
mine uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of
the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray
thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the
right of inheritance is thine, and
the redemption is thine; buy it for
thyself. Then I knew that this was the
word of the LORD.
24-32:25 And thou
hast said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy thee the
field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the
Chaldeans.
24-32:44 Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and
seal them, and take witnesses in the
land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of
Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and
in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, saith
the LORD.
30-8:6 That we
may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a
pair of shoes; yea, and sell the
refuse of the wheat?
40-14:15 And when it
was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the
time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages,
and buy themselves victuals.
40-25:9 But the
wise answered, saying, Not so; lest
there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
40-25:10 And while
they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they
that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
41-6:36 Send them
away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and
buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to
eat.
41-6:37 He
answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall
we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread,
and give them to eat?
42-9:13 But he
said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five
loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy
meat for all this people.
42-22:36 Then said
he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip:
and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
43-4:8 (For his
disciples were gone away unto the city to buy
meat.)
43-6:5 When
Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw
a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
43-13:29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the
bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of
against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
46-7:30 And they
that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they
rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they
possessed not;
59-4:13 Go to
now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue
there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
66-3:18 I counsel
thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that
thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not
appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
66-13:17 And that
no man might buy or sell, save he that had the
mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

23-24:2 And it shall
be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his
master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with
the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.
26-7:12 The time
is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer
rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is
upon all the multitude thereof.
