01-2:25 And they
were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not
ashamed.
01-3:7 And the
eyes of them both were opened, and they knew
that they were naked; and they sewed
fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
01-6:7 And the
LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the
fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
01-7:21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the
earth, and every man:
01-7:23 And every
living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the
fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only
remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
01-8:17 Bring
forth with thee every living thing that is
with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping
thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the
earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
01-9:23 And Shem
and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon
both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered
the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness.
01-19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed
the house round, both old and young, all the
people from every quarter:
01-19:11 And they
smote the men that were at the door
of the house with blindness, both small and
great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.
01-19:36 Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.
01-21:27 And
Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.
01-21:31 Wherefore he called that place Beersheba; because
there they sware both of them.
01-22:6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering,
and laid it upon Isaac his son;
and he took the fire in his hand, and a
knife; and they went both of them together.
01-22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself
a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both
of them together.
01-24:25 She said moreover
unto him, We have both straw and provender
enough, and room to lodge in.
01-24:44 And she
say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: let the same be the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my master’s son.
01-27:45 Until thy
brother’s anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee
from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both
in one day?
01-31:37 Whereas thou
hast searched all my stuff, what hast thou found of all thy household stuff?
set it here before my brethren and
thy brethren, that they may judge betwixt us both.
01-36:24 And these are the children of Zibeon; both Ajah, and Anah: this was that Anah that found the
mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.
01-40:5 And they
dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream
in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler
and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were
bound in the prison.
01-41:10 Pharaoh
was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s
house, both
me and the chief baker:
01-42:35 And it
came to pass as they emptied their sacks, that, behold, every man’s bundle of
money was in his sack: and when both they
and their father saw the bundles of money, they were afraid.
01-43:8 And Judah
said unto Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou, and
also our little ones.
01-44:9 With
whomsoever of thy servants it be found, both let
him die, and we also will be my lord’s bondmen.
01-44:16 And Judah said, What shall we say unto my lord?
what shall we speak? or how shall we clear ourselves? God hath found out
the iniquity of thy servants: behold, we are
my lord’s servants, both we, and he also with whom the cup is found.
01-46:34 That ye
shall say, Thy servants’ trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until
now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for
every shepherd is an abomination unto
the Egyptians.
01-47:3 And
Pharaoh said unto his brethren, What is your
occupation? And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.
01-47:19 Wherefore
shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our
land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto
Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we
may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.
01-48:13 And Joseph
took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward
Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel’s right hand,
and brought them near unto him.
01-50:9 And there
went up with him both chariots and horsemen: and
it was a very great company.
02-5:14 And the
officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over
them, were beaten, and demanded,
Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as heretofore?
02-7:19 And the
LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand
upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their
ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all
the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels
of stone.
02-8:4 And the
frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy
people, and upon all thy servants.
02-9:25 And the
hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and
beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the
field.
02-12:12 For I will
pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in
the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and
against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
02-12:31 And he
called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both
ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.
02-13:2 Sanctify
unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of
Israel, both
of man and of beast: it is mine.
02-13:15 And it
came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the
firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the
firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD
all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children
I redeem.
02-18:18 Thou wilt
surely wear away, both thou, and this people
that is with thee: for this thing is
too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.
02-22:9 For all
manner of trespass, whether it be for
ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for
any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth
to be his, the cause of both parties shall come
before the judges; and whom the
judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.
02-22:11 Then shall an oath of the LORD be between
them both, that he hath not put his hand unto
his neighbour’s goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it
good.
02-26:24 And they
shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the
head of it unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both;
they shall be for the two corners.
02-29:44 And I will
sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both
Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest’s office.
02-32:15 And Moses
turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both
their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.
02-35:22 And they
came, both men and women, as many as were
willing hearted, and brought
bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every
man that offered offered an offering
of gold unto the LORD.
02-35:25 And all
the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that
which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.
02-35:34 And he
hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the
tribe of Dan.
02-36:29 And they
were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring:
thus he did to both of them in both the corners.
02-37:26 And he
overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round
about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
03-6:28 But the
earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a
brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed
in water.
03-8:11 And he
sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all
his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to
sanctify them.
03-9:3 And unto
the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for
a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a
burnt offering;
03-15:18 The woman
also with whom man shall lie with seed
of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves
in water, and be unclean until the even.
03-16:21 And Aaron
shall lay both his hands upon the head of the
live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel,
and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of
the goat, and shall send him away by
the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
03-17:15 And every
soul that eateth that which died of
itself, or that which was torn with
beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be
clean.
03-20:11 And the
man that lieth with his father’s wife hath uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood
shall be upon them.
03-20:12 And if a
man lie with his daughter in law, both of them
shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
03-20:13 If a man
also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both
of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their
blood shall be upon them.
03-20:14 And if a
man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness:
they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they;
that there be no wickedness among you.
03-20:18 And if a man
shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he
hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
03-21:22 He shall
eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
03-22:28 And whether
it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day.
03-25:41 And then shall he depart from thee, both he
and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the
possession of his fathers shall he return.
03-25:44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt
have, shall be of the heathen that
are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.
03-25:54 And if he
be not redeemed in these years, then
he shall go out in the year of jubile, both he, and his children with him.
03-27:28 Notwithstanding
no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, both of
man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed:
every devoted thing is most holy unto
the LORD.
03-27:33 He shall
not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he
change it at all, then both it and the change
thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.
04-3:13 Because
all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the
firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.
04-5:3 Both male and female shall ye put out, without the
camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof
I dwell.
04-7:1 And it
came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had
anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had
anointed them, and sanctified them;
04-7:13 And his
offering was one silver charger, the
weight thereof was an hundred and
thirty shekels, one silver bowl of
seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both
of them were full of fine flour
mingled with oil for a meat offering:
04-7:19 He
offered for his offering one silver
charger, the weight whereof was an
hundred and thirty shekels, one
silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a
meat offering:
04-7:25 His offering was
one silver charger, the weight whereof was
an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary;
both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil
for a meat offering:
04-7:31 His offering was
one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy
shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both
of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:
04-7:37 His offering was
one silver charger, the weight whereof was
an hundred and thirty shekels, one
silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a
meat offering:
04-7:43 His
offering was one silver charger of
the weight of an hundred and thirty shekels,
a silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a
meat offering:
04-7:49 His offering was
one silver charger, the weight whereof was
an hundred and thirty shekels, one
silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a
meat offering:
04-7:55 His offering was
one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy
shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both
of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:
04-7:61 His offering was
one silver charger, the weight whereof was
an hundred and thirty shekels, one
silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a
meat offering:
04-7:67 His offering was
one silver charger, the weight whereof was
an hundred and thirty shekels, one
silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a
meat offering:
04-7:73 His offering was
one silver charger, the weight whereof was
an hundred and thirty shekels, one
silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a
meat offering:
04-7:79 His offering was
one silver charger, the weight whereof was
an hundred and thirty shekels, one
silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a
meat offering:
04-8:17 For all
the firstborn of the children of Israel are
mine, both
man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt
I sanctified them for myself.
04-9:14 And if a
stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD;
according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner
thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both
for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
04-12:5 And the
LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and
they both came forth.
04-15:15 One
ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the
stranger that sojourneth with you, an
ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD.
04-15:29 Ye shall
have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the
children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.
04-16:11 For which
cause both
thou and all thy company are gathered
together against the LORD: and what is Aaron,
that ye murmur against him?
04-25:8 And he
went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both
of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the
plague was stayed from the children of Israel.
04-27:21 And he
shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his
word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he,
and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.
04-31:11 And they
took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.
04-31:19 And do ye
abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and
whosoever hath touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third
day, and on the seventh day.
04-31:26 Take the
sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, thou, and Eleazar the
priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation:
04-31:28 And levy a
tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of
five hundred, both
of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep:
04-31:47 Even of
the children of Israel’s half, Moses took one portion of fifty, both of
man and of beast, and gave them unto the Levites, which kept the charge of the
tabernacle of the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
04-35:15 These six
cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the
stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any
person unawares may flee thither.
05-19:17 Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before
the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;
05-21:15 If a man
have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him
children, both
the beloved and the hated; and if the
firstborn son be hers that was hated:
05-22:22 If a man
be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the
woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.
05-22:24 Then ye
shall bring them both out unto the gate of that
city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because
she cried not, being in the city; and
the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away
evil from among you.
05-23:18 Thou shalt
not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the
LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
05-30:19 I call
heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing:
therefore choose life, that both thou and thy
seed may live:
05-32:25 The sword
without, and terror within, shall destroy both
the young man and the virgin, the suckling also
with the man of gray hairs.
06-6:21 And they
utterly destroyed all that was in the
city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox,
and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.
06-8:25 And so it was, that all that fell that day, both of
men and women, were twelve thousand, even all the men of Ai.
06-14:11 As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as
my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.
06-17:16 And the
children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots
of iron, both
they who are of Bethshean and her towns, and they who are of the valley of Jezreel.
07-5:30 Have they
not sped? have they not divided the
prey; to every man a damsel or two; to
Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of
divers colours of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of them that take the spoil?
07-6:5 For they came up with their cattle and their
tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were
without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.
07-8:22 Then the
men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both
thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son also: for
thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian.
07-10:10 And the
children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served
Baalim.
07-15:5 And when
he had set the brands on fire, he let them
go into the standing corn of the Philistines, and burnt up both the shocks, and also the standing corn, with the
vineyards and olives.
07-19:6 And they
sat down, and did eat and drink both of them together:
for the damsel’s father had said unto the man, Be content, I pray thee, and
tarry all night, and let thine heart be merry.
07-19:8 And he
arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart: and the damsel’s father
said, Comfort thine heart, I pray thee. And they tarried until afternoon, and
they did eat both of them.
07-19:19 Yet there
is both straw and provender for our asses; and
there is bread and wine also for me, and for thy handmaid, and for the young
man which is with thy servants: there is no want of any thing.
08-1:5 And
Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and
the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.
09-2:26 And the
child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both
with the LORD, and also with men.
09-2:34 And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall
come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.
09-3:11 And the
LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall
tingle.
09-5:4 And when
they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD;
and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his
hands were cut off upon the
threshold; only the stump of Dagon
was left to him.
09-5:9 And it
was so, that, after they had carried
it about, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction:
and he smote the men of the city, both small and
great, and they had emerods in their secret parts.
09-6:18 And the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines
belonging to the five lords, both of
fenced cities, and of country villages, even unto the great stone of Abel, whereon they set down the
ark of the LORD: which stone remaineth unto
this day in the field of Joshua, the Bethshemite.
09-9:26 And they
arose early: and it came to pass about the spring of the day, that Samuel
called Saul to the top of the house, saying, Up, that I may send thee away. And
Saul arose, and they went out both of them, he
and Samuel, abroad.
09-12:14 If ye will
fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the
commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and
also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:
09-12:25 But if ye
shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both
ye and your king.
09-14:11 And both of them discovered themselves unto the garrison
of the Philistines: and the Philistines said, Behold, the Hebrews come forth
out of the holes where they had hid themselves.
09-15:3 Now go
and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not;
but slay both man and woman, infant and
suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
09-17:36 Thy
servant slew both the lion and the bear: and
this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied
the armies of the living God.
09-20:11 And
Jonathan said unto David, Come, and let us go out into the field. And they went
out both of them into the field.
09-20:42 And
Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, forasmuch as we have sworn both of us in the name of the LORD, saying, The LORD
be between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed for ever. And he arose
and departed: and Jonathan went into the city.
09-22:19 And Nob,
the city of the priests, smote he with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and sucklings, and oxen,
and asses, and sheep, with the edge of the sword.
09-25:6 And thus
shall ye say to him that liveth in
prosperity, Peace be both to thee, and peace be to thine house, and peace be
unto all that thou hast.
09-25:16 They were
a wall unto us both by night and day, all the
while we were with them keeping the sheep.
09-25:43 David also
took Ahinoam of Jezreel; and they were also both
of them his wives.
09-26:25 Then Saul
said to David, Blessed be thou, my
son David: thou shalt both do great things, and also shalt still prevail. So
David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place.
10-8:18 And
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David’s
sons were chief rulers.
10-9:13 So
Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king’s
table; and was lame on both his feet.
10-15:25 And the
king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find
favour in the eyes of the LORD, he will bring me again, and shew me both it,
and his habitation:
10-16:23 And the
counsel of Ahithophel, which he counselled in those days, was as if a man had enquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom.
10-17:18 Nevertheless
a lad saw them, and told Absalom: but they went both
of them away quickly, and came to a man’s house in Bahurim, which had a well in
his court; whither they went down.
11-3:13 And I have also given thee that which thou hast
not asked, both riches, and honour: so
that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.
11-6:5 And
against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the walls of the house round
about, both
of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:
11-6:15 And he built
the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both
the floor of the house, and the walls of the cieling: and he covered them on
the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.
11-6:16 And he
built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both
the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built them for it within, even for the oracle, even for
the most holy place.
11-6:25 And the
other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubims were
of one measure and one size.
11-7:12 And the
great court round about was with
three rows of hewed stones, and a row of cedar beams, both
for the inner court of the house of the LORD, and for the porch of the house.
11-7:50 And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons,
and the spoons, and the censers of
pure gold; and the hinges of gold,
both for
the doors of the inner house, the most holy place,
and for the doors of the house, to
wit, of the temple.
12-2:11 And it came
to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted
them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a
whirlwind into heaven.
12-3:17 For thus
saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that
valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both
ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.
12-6:15 And when
the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host
compassed the city both with horses and
chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?
12-17:41 So these
nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children’s children: as
did their fathers, so do they unto this day.
12-21:12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel,
Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and
Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his
ears shall tingle.
12-23:2 And the king
went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and all the
inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all
the people, both small and great: and he read in
their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the
house of the LORD.
12-23:15 Moreover
the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the
son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both
that altar and the high place he brake down, and burned the high place, and stamped it small to powder, and burned the grove.
12-25:26 And all
the people, both small and great, and the
captains of the armies, arose, and came to Egypt: for they were afraid of the
Chaldees.
13-12:2 They were armed with bows, and could use
both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows out of a bow, even
of Saul’s brethren of Benjamin.
13-12:15 These are they that went over Jordan in the
first month, when it had overflown all his banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward
the east, and toward the west.
13-15:12 And said
unto them, Ye are the chief of the
fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may
bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.
13-16:3 And he
dealt to every one of Israel, both man and
woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
13-23:29 Both for the shewbread, and for the fine flour for
meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that which is fried, and
for all manner of measure and size;
13-24:3 And David
distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of
Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in
their service.
13-28:15 Even the
weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight for
every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof: and for the candlesticks of
silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and also for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every
candlestick.
13-29:12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give
strength unto all.
14-20:25 And when
Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found
among them in abundance both riches with the
dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more
than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil,
it was so much.
14-24:16 And they buried
him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, both toward God, and toward his house.
14-25:21 So Joash
the king of Israel went up; and they saw one another in the face, both he
and Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah.
14-26:10 Also he
built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen
also, and vine dressers in the
mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry.
14-27:5 He fought
also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the
children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten
thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the
children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second
year, and the third.
14-31:17 Both to the genealogy of the priests by the house of
their fathers, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their
charges by their courses;
14-32:26 Notwithstanding
Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD came not upon them in the days of
Hezekiah.
15-3:5 And
afterward offered the continual burnt
offering, both of the new moons, and of all the
set feasts of the LORD that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly
offered a freewill offering unto the LORD.
15-6:9 And that
which they have need of, both young bullocks,
and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt,
wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them
day by day without fail:
16-1:6 Let thine
ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of
thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the
sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned.
16-4:16 And it
came to pass from that time forth, that the
half of my servants wrought in the work, and the other half of them held both the spears, the shields, and the bows, and the habergeons; and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah.
16-8:2 And Ezra
the priest brought the law before the congregation both
of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first
day of the seventh month.
16-10:9 And the
Levites: both Jeshua the son of Azaniah, Binnui
of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel;
16-12:27 And at the
dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their
places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with
harps.
16-12:28 And the
sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both
out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of
Netophathi;
16-12:45 And both the singers and the porters kept the ward of
their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of
David, and of Solomon his son.
17-1:5 And when
these days were expired, the king made a feast unto all the people that were
present in Shushan the palace, both unto great
and small, seven days, in the court of the garden of the king’s palace;
17-1:20 And when
the king’s decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire,
(for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.
17-2:23 And when
inquisition was made of the matter, it was found out; therefore they were both hanged on a tree: and it was written in the book
of the chronicles before the king.
17-3:13 And the
letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to kill,
and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and
old, little children and women, in one day, even
upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth
month, which is the month Adar, and to
take the spoil of them for a prey.
17-8:11 Wherein
the king granted the Jews which were in
every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to
destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and
province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey,
17-9:20 And
Mordecai wrote these things, and sent letters unto all the Jews that were in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus,
both nigh
and far,
18-9:33 Neither
is there any daysman betwixt us, that might
lay his hand upon us both.
18-15:10 With us are both
the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than thy father.
19-4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD,
only makest me dwell in safety.
19-49:2 Both low and high, rich and poor, together.
19-58:9 Before
your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
19-64:6 They
search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought
of every one of them, and the
heart, is deep.
19-76:6 At thy
rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and
horse are cast into a dead sleep.
19-104:25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
19-115:13 He will
bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
19-135:8 Who smote the
firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
19-139:12 Yea, the
darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness
and the light are both alike to
thee.
19-148:12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
20-17:15 He that
justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination
to the LORD.
20-20:10 Divers
weights, and divers measures, both of them are
alike abomination to the LORD.
20-20:12 The
hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.
20-24:22 For their
calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?
20-26:10 The great God that formed all things both rewardeth the fool, and
rewardeth transgressors.
20-27:3 A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a
fool’s wrath is heavier than them both.
20-29:13 The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the
LORD lighteneth both their eyes.
21-4:3 Yea,
better is he than both they, which hath not yet been, who hath not seen
the evil work that is done under the sun.
21-4:6 Better is an handful with quietness, than both the hands
full with travail and vexation of
spirit.
21-8:5 Whoso
keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart
discerneth both time and judgment.
21-11:6 In the
morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou
knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike
good.
23-1:31 And the
strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.
23-7:16 For
before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land
that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both
her kings.
23-8:14 And he
shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of
offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin
and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
23-10:18 And shall
consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a
standardbearer fainteth.
23-13:9 Behold,
the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with
wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the
sinners thereof out of it.
23-18:5 For afore
the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the
flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with
pruning hooks, and take away and cut
down the branches.
23-31:3 Now the
Egyptians are men, and not God; and
their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen
shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.
23-38:15 What shall
I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself
hath done it: I shall go softly all
my years in the bitterness of my soul.
23-44:12 The smith
with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and
fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea,
he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.
24-5:24 Neither
say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he
reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.
24-9:10 For the
mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the
wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass
through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled;
they are gone.
24-14:18 If I go
forth into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into
the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land
that they know not.
24-16:6 Both the great and the small shall die in this land:
they shall not be buried, neither shall men
lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:
24-21:6 And I
will smite the inhabitants of this city, both
man and beast: they shall die of a great pestilence.
24-23:11 For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house
have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.
24-26:5 To
hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not hearkened;
24-28:8 The prophets
that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great
kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.
24-31:13 Then shall
the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men
and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort
them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
24-32:11 So I took
the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed according to the law and custom, and that which was open:
24-32:14 Thus saith
the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of
the purchase, both which is sealed, and this
evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may
continue many days.
24-36:16 Now it
came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will
surely tell the king of all these words.
24-44:25 Thus saith
the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your
hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn
incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye
will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.
24-46:12 The
nations have heard of thy shame, and thy cry hath filled the land: for the mighty man hath stumbled against the mighty, and they are fallen both together.
24-50:3 For out
of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land
desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.
24-51:12 Set up the
standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen,
prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both
devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.
24-51:46 And lest
your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a
rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another
year shall come a rumour, and
violence in the land, ruler against ruler.
25-3:26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly
wait for the salvation of the LORD.
26-9:6 Slay
utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come
not near any man upon whom is the
mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
26-14:22 Yet,
behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons
and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their
way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought
upon it.
26-15:4 Behold,
it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both
the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work?
26-21:19 Also, thou
son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may
come: both twain shall come forth out of one
land: and choose thou a place, choose it at
the head of the way to the city.
26-23:13 Then I saw
that she was defiled, that they took both
one way,
26-23:29 And they
shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall
leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be
discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.
26-34:11 For thus
saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I,
will both search my sheep, and seek them out.
26-39:9 And they
that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and
burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers,
the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall
burn them with fire seven years:
26-42:11 And the
way before them was like the
appearance of the chambers which were toward
the north, as long as they, and as
broad as they: and all their goings out were
both according to their fashions, and
according to their doors.
27-8:13 Then I
heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice,
and the transgression of desolation, to give both
the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
27-11:27 And both these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table;
but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall
be at the time appointed.
33-5:8 And the
remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a
lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep:
who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and
teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
33-7:3 That
they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the
prince asketh, and the judge asketh for
a reward; and the great man, he
uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
34-3:3 The
horseman lifteth up both the bright sword and
the glittering spear: and there is a multitude
of slain, and a great number of carcases; and there is none end of their corpses;
they stumble upon their corpses:
36-2:14 And
flocks shall lie down in the midst of her, all the beasts of the nations: both the cormorant and the bittern shall lodge in the
upper lintels of it; their voice
shall sing in the windows; desolation shall
be in the thresholds: for he shall uncover the cedar work.
38-6:13 Even he
shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit
and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the
counsel of peace shall be between them both.
38-12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling
unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and
against Jerusalem.
40-9:17 Neither do
men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth
out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
40-10:28 And fear
not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather
fear him which is able to destroy both soul and
body in hell.
40-12:22 Then was
brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed
him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake
and saw.
40-13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time
of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and
bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
40-15:14 Let them
alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
40-22:10 So those servants went out into the highways, and
gathered together all as many as they found, both
bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
41-6:30 And the
apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.
41-7:37 And were
beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
42-1:6 And they
were both righteous before God, walking in all
the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
42-1:7 And they
had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well
stricken in years.
42-2:46 And it
came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
42-5:7 And they
beckoned unto their partners, which
were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and
filled both the ships, so that they began to
sink.
42-5:36 And he
spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an
old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a
rent, and the piece that was taken out
of the new agreeth not with the old.
42-5:38 But new
wine must be put into new bottles; and both are
preserved.
42-6:39 And he spake
a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
42-7:42 And when
they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both.
Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
42-21:16 And ye
shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren,
and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of
you shall they cause to be put to death.
42-22:33 And he
said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both
into prison, and to death.
43-2:2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the
marriage.
43-4:36 And he
that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice
together.
43-7:28 Then cried
Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both
know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent
me is true, whom ye know not.
43-9:37 And Jesus
said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it
is he that talketh with thee.
43-11:48 If we let
him thus alone, all men will believe
on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both
our place and nation.
43-11:57 Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a
commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might take him.
43-12:28 Father,
glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
43-15:24 If I had
not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin:
but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
43-20:4 So they
ran both together: and the other disciple did
outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
44-1:1 The
former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
44-1:8 But ye
shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall
be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in
all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
44-1:13 And when
they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip,
and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the
son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
44-2:29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto
you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead
and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
44-2:36 Therefore
let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus,
whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
44-4:27 For of a
truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and
the people of Israel, were gathered together,
44-5:14 And believers were the more added to the Lord,
multitudes both of men and women.)
44-8:12 But when
they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and
the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both
men and women.
44-8:38 And he
commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both
Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
44-10:39 And we are
witnesses of all things which he did both in the
land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
44-14:1 And it
came to pass in Iconium, that they went both
together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.
44-14:5 And when
there was an assault made both of the Gentiles,
and also of the Jews with their rulers, to use them despitefully, and to stone them,
44-19:10 And this
continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard
the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and
Greeks.
44-20:21 Testifying
both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks,
repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
44-21:12 And when
we heard these things, both we, and they of that
place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.
44-22:4 And I
persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
44-23:8 For the
Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the
Pharisees confess both.
44-24:15 And have
hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a
resurrection of the dead, both of the just and
unjust.
44-25:24 And Festus
said, King Agrippa, and all men which are here present with us, ye see this
man, about whom all the multitude of the Jews have dealt with me, both at Jerusalem, and also here, crying that he ought not to live any longer.
44-26:16 But rise,
and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make
thee a minister and a witness both of these
things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear
unto thee;
44-26:22 Having
therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than
those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:
44-26:29 And Paul
said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day,
were both almost, and altogether such as I am,
except these bonds.
44-28:23 And when
they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God,
persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of
the law of Moses, and out of the
prophets, from morning till evening.
45-1:12 That is,
that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
45-1:14 I am
debtor both to the Greeks, and to the
Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
45-3:9 What then?
are we better than they? No, in no
wise: for we have before proved both Jews and
Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
45-11:33 O the
depth of the riches both of the wisdom and
knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his
judgments, and his ways past finding out!
45-14:9 For to
this end Christ both died, and rose, and
revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead
and living.
46-1:2 Unto the
church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus,
called to be saints, with all that in
every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
46-1:24 But unto
them which are called, both Jews and Greeks,
Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
46-4:5 Therefore
judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make
manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of
God.
46-4:11 Even unto
this present hour we both hunger, and thirst,
and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;
46-6:13 Meats for
the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the
body.
46-6:14 And God hath both
raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
46-7:29 But this
I say, brethren, the time is short:
it remaineth, that both they that have wives be
as though they had none;
46-7:34 There is
difference also between a wife and a
virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be
holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is
married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
47-9:10 Now he that
ministereth seed to the sower both minister
bread for your food, and multiply
your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
49-1:10 That in
the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all
things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and
which are on earth; even in him:
49-2:14 For he is
our peace, who hath made both one, and hath
broken down the middle wall of partition between
us;
49-2:16 And that he
might reconcile both unto God in one body by the
cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
49-2:18 For
through him we both have access by one Spirit
unto the Father.
50-1:7 Even as it
is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart;
inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence
and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
50-2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
50-4:9 Those
things, which ye have both learned, and
received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with
you.
50-4:12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every
where and in all things I am instructed both to
be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to
suffer need.
52-2:15 Who both killed the
Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please
not God, and are contrary to all men:
52-5:15 See that
none render evil for evil unto any man; but
ever follow that which is good, both among
yourselves, and to all men.
53-3:4 And we
have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both
do and will do the things which we command you.
54-4:10 For
therefore we both labour and suffer reproach,
because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of
those that believe.
54-4:16 Take heed
unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou
shalt both save thyself, and them that hear
thee.
56-1:9 Holding
fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound
doctrine both to exhort and to convince the
gainsayers.
57-1:16 Not now as
a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how
much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in
the Lord?
58-2:4 God also
bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles,
and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
58-2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is
not ashamed to call them brethren,
58-5:1 For
every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
58-5:14 But
strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to
discern both good and evil.
58-6:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that
within the veil;
58-9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present,
in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices,
that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the
conscience;
58-9:19 For when
Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took
the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and
sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
58-9:21 Moreover
he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and
all the vessels of the ministry.
58-10:33 Partly,
whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by
reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them
that were so used.
58-11:21 By faith
Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the
sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon
the top of his staff.
59-3:12 Can the fig
tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both
yield salt water and fresh.
61-3:1 This
second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds
by way of remembrance:
61-3:18 But grow
in grace, and in the knowledge of our
Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory
both now and for ever. Amen.
63-1:9 Whosoever
transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that
abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both
the Father and the Son.
65-1:25 To the
only wise God our Saviour, be glory and
majesty, dominion and power, both now and for
ever. Amen.
66-13:15 And he had
power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast
should both speak, and cause that as many as
would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
66-13:16 And he
causeth all, both small and great, rich and
poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their
foreheads:
66-19:5 And a
voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and
ye that fear him, both small and great.
66-19:18 That ye
may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty
men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of
all men, both
free and bond, both small and great.
66-19:20 And the
beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before
him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and
them that worshipped his image. These both were
cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
