02-24:6 And Moses
took half of the blood, and put it in
basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on
the altar.
02-27:3 And thou
shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons, and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the
vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass.
02-38:3 And he
made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basons, and the
fleshhooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.
04-4:14 And they
shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and
the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of
the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put

wheat, and barley, and flour, and parched corn,
and beans, and lentiles, and parched pulse,
11-7:40 And Hiram
made the lavers, and the shovels, and the basons.
So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he made king Solomon for the
house of the LORD:
11-7:45 And the
pots, and the shovels, and the basons: and all
these vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, were of bright brass.
11-7:50 And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple.
12-12:13 Howbeit
there were not made for the house of the LORD bowls of silver, snuffers, basons, trumpets, any vessels of gold, or vessels of
silver, of the money that was brought
into the house of the LORD:
13-28:17 Also pure
gold for the fleshhooks, and the bowls, and the cups: and for the golden basons he gave
gold by weight for every bason; and likewise
silver by weight for every bason of silver:
14-4:8 He made
also ten tables, and placed them in
the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an
hundred basons of gold.
14-4:11 And Huram
made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons.
And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house
of God;
14-4:22 And the
snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and
the censers, of pure gold: and the
entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the
temple, were of gold.
15-1:10 Thirty basons of gold, silver basons
of a second sort four hundred and
ten, and other vessels a thousand.
15-8:27 Also
twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and
two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.
16-7:70 And some
of the chief of the fathers gave unto the work. The Tirshatha gave to the
treasure a thousand drams of gold, fifty basons,
five hundred and thirty priests’ garments.
24-52:19 And the basons, and the firepans, and the bowls, and the
caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; that which was of gold in gold, and that which was of silver in silver,
took the captain of the guard away.

11-1:11 Wherefore
Nathan spake unto Bathsheba

11-1:15 And Bathsheba went in unto the king

11-1:16 And Bathsheba bowed, and did obeisance

11-1:28 Then king

01-GENESIS
01-14:8 And there
went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah,
and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and they joined battle
with them in the vale of Siddim;
04-21:33 And they
turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan went out
against them, he, and all his people, to the battle
at Edrei.
04-31:14 And Moses
was wroth with the officers of the host, with
the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from
the battle.
04-31:21 And
Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the
ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses;
04-31:27 And divide
the prey into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out
to battle, and between all the congregation:
04-31:28 And levy a
tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of
the sheep:
04-32:27 But thy
servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord saith.
04-32:29 And Moses
said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass
with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle,
before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give
them the land of Gilead for a possession:
05-2:9 And the
LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given
Ar unto the children of Lot for a
possession.
05-2:24 Rise ye
up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into
thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
05-3:1 Then we
turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out
against us, he and all his people, to battle at
Edrei.
05-20:1 When thou
goest out to battle against thine enemies, and
seest horses, and chariots, and a
people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out
of the land of Egypt.
05-20:2 And it
shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle,
that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,
05-20:3 And shall
say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts
faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;
05-20:5 And the
officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man is there that hath built a new house, and hath not dedicated it?
let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle,
and another man dedicate it.
05-20:6 And what
man is he that hath planted a
vineyard, and hath not yet eaten of
it? let him also go and return unto
his house, lest he die in the battle, and
another man eat of it.
05-20:7 And what
man is there that hath betrothed a
wife, and hath not taken her? let him go and return unto his house, lest he die
in the battle, and another man take her.
05-29:7 And when
ye came unto this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan,
came out against us unto battle, and we smote
them:
06-4:13 About forty
thousand prepared for war passed over before the LORD unto battle, to the plains of Jericho.
06-8:14 And it
came to pass, when the king of Ai saw it,
that they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city went out
against Israel to battle, he and all his people,
at a time appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that there were liers in ambush against him
behind the city.
06-11:19 There was
not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the
inhabitants of Gibeon: all other they
took in battle.
06-11:20 For it was
of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but
that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.
06-22:33 And the
thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed God,
and did not intend to go up against them in battle,
to destroy the land wherein the children of Reuben and Gad dwelt.
07-8:13 And
Gideon the son of Joash returned from battle
before the sun was up,
07-20:14 But the
children of Benjamin gathered themselves together out of the cities unto
Gibeah, to go out to battle against the children
of Israel.
07-20:18 And the children
of Israel arose, and went up to the house of God, and asked counsel of God, and
said, Which of us shall go up first to the battle
against the children of Benjamin? And the LORD said, Judah shall go up first.
07-20:20 And the
men of Israel went out to battle against
Benjamin; and the men of Israel put themselves in array to fight against them
at Gibeah.
07-20:22 And the
people the men of Israel encouraged themselves, and set their battle again in array in the place where they put
themselves in array the first day.
07-20:23 (And the
children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until even, and asked
counsel of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up again to battle
against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the LORD said, Go up against
him.)
07-20:28 And
Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days,)
saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle
against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD
said, Go up; for to morrow I will deliver them into thine hand.
07-20:34 And there
came against Gibeah ten thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and the battle was sore: but they knew not that evil was near them.
07-20:39 And when
the men of Israel retired in the battle,
Benjamin began to smite and kill of
the men of Israel about thirty persons: for they said, Surely they are smitten
down before us, as in the first battle.
07-20:42 Therefore
they turned their backs before the
men of Israel unto the way of the wilderness; but the battle
overtook them; and them which came out
of the cities they destroyed in the midst of them.
09-4:1 And the
word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out against the Philistines
to battle, and pitched beside Ebenezer: and the Philistines
pitched in Aphek.
09-4:2 And the
Philistines put themselves in array against Israel: and when they joined battle, Israel was smitten before the Philistines: and
they slew of the army in the field about four thousand men.
09-7:10 And as
Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the LORD thundered with a
great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they
were smitten before Israel.
09-13:22 So it came
to pass in the day of battle, that there was
neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with
Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.
09-14:20 And Saul
and all the people that were with him
assembled themselves, and they came to the battle:
and, behold, every man’s sword was against his fellow, and there was a very great discomfiture.
09-14:22 Likewise
all the men of Israel which had hid themselves in mount Ephraim, when they heard that the Philistines
fled, even they also followed hard after them in the battle.
09-14:23 So the
LORD saved Israel that day: and the battle
passed over unto Bethaven.
09-17:1 Now the
Philistines gathered together their armies to battle,
and were gathered together at Shochoh, which belongeth to Judah, and pitched between Shochoh and Azekah, in
Ephesdammim.
09-17:2 And Saul
and the men of Israel were gathered together, and pitched by the valley of
Elah, and set the battle in array against the
Philistines.
09-17:8 And he stood
and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to
set your battle
in array? am not I a Philistine, and
ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me.
09-17:13 And the three
eldest sons of Jesse went and followed
Saul to the battle: and the names of his three
sons that went to the battle were Eliab the firstborn, and next unto
him Abinadab, and the third Shammah.
09-17:20 And David
rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper, and took, and
went, as Jesse had commanded him; and he came to the trench, as the host was
going forth to the fight, and shouted for the battle.
09-17:21 For Israel
and the Philistines had put the battle in array,
army against army.
09-17:28 And Eliab
his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger was
kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom
hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness
of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.
09-17:47 And all
this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the
battle is the
Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands.
09-26:10 David said
furthermore, As the LORD liveth, the
LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish.
09-28:1 And it
came to pass in those days, that the Philistines gathered their armies together
for warfare, to fight with Israel. And Achish said unto David, Know thou
assuredly, that thou shalt go out with me to battle,
thou and thy men.
09-29:4 And the
princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return,
that he may go again to his place
which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle
he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his
master? should it not be with the heads of these men?
09-29:9 And
Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the
princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.
09-30:24 For who will
hearken unto you in this matter? but as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so
shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike.
09-31:3 And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit
him; and he was sore wounded of the archers.
10-1:4 And
David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he
answered, That the people are fled from the battle,
and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son
are dead also.
10-1:25 How are
the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O
Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine
high places.
10-2:17 And there
was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was
beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David.
10-3:30 So Joab
and Abishai his brother slew Abner, because he had slain their brother Asahel
at Gibeon in the battle.
10-10:8 And the
children of Ammon came out, and put the battle
in array at the entering in of the gate: and the Syrians of Zoba, and of Rehob,
and Ishtob, and Maacah, were by
themselves in the field.
10-10:9 When Joab
saw that the front of the battle was against him
before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in
array against the Syrians:
10-10:13 And Joab drew
nigh, and the people that were with
him, unto the battle against the Syrians: and
they fled before him.
10-11:1 And it
came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that
David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed
the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at
Jerusalem.
10-11:15 And he
wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be
smitten, and die.
10-11:25 Then David
said unto the messenger, Thus shalt thou say unto Joab, Let not this thing
displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow it:
and encourage thou him.
10-17:11 Therefore
I counsel that all Israel be generally gathered unto thee, from Dan even to
Beersheba, as the sand that is by the
sea for multitude; and that thou go to battle in
thine own person.
10-18:6 So the
people went out into the field against Israel: and the battle
was in the wood of Ephraim;
10-18:8 For the battle was there scattered over the face of all the
country: and the wood devoured more people that day than the sword devoured.
10-19:3 And the
people gat them by stealth that day into the city, as people being ashamed
steal away when they flee in battle.
10-19:10 And
Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is dead in battle.
Now therefore why speak ye not a word of bringing the king back?
10-21:17 But Abishai
the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him.
Then the men of David sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us
to battle, that thou quench not the light of
Israel.
10-21:18 And it
came to pass after this, that there was again a battle
with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Saph, which was of the sons of the giant.
10-21:19 And there
was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where
Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam.
10-21:20 And there
was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand
six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also
was born to the giant.
10-22:40 For thou
hast girded me with strength to battle: them
that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
10-23:9 And after
him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the
Ahohite, one of the three mighty men
with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle,
and the men of Israel were gone away:
11-8:44 If thy
people go out to battle against their enemy,
whithersoever thou shalt send them, and shall pray unto the LORD toward the
city which thou hast chosen, and toward the
house that I have built for thy name:
11-20:14 And Ahab
said, By whom? And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Even by the young men of the princes of the provinces. Then he
said, Who shall order the battle? And he
answered, Thou.
11-20:29 And they
pitched one over against the other seven days. And so it was, that in the seventh day the battle
was joined: and the children of Israel slew of the Syrians an hundred thousand
footmen in one day.
11-20:39 And as the
king passed by, he cried unto the king: and he said, Thy servant went out into
the midst of the battle; and, behold, a man
turned aside, and brought a man unto me, and said, Keep this man: if by any
means he be missing, then shall thy life be
for his life, or else thou shalt pay a talent of silver.
11-22:4 And he
said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle
to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.
11-22:6 Then the
king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said
unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle,
or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
11-22:15 So he came
to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against
Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And
he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
11-22:30 And the
king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into
the battle; but put thou on thy robes. And the
king of Israel disguised himself, and went into the battle.
11-22:35 And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up
in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of
the wound into the midst of the chariot.
12-3:7 And he
went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath
rebelled against me: wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up: I am as thou art, my people as thy people, and
my horses as thy horses.
12-3:26 And when the
king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore
for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they
could not.
13-5:20 And they
were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and
all that were with them: for they
cried to God in the battle, and he was intreated
of them; because they put their trust in him.
13-7:11 All these
the sons of Jediael, by the heads of their fathers, mighty men of valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred soldiers, fit to go out for war and battle.
13-7:40 All these
were the children of Asher, heads of their father’s house, choice and mighty men of valour, chief of the
princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of them that were apt to the
war and to battle
was twenty and six thousand men.
13-10:3 And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit
him, and he was wounded of the archers.
13-11:13 He was
with David at Pasdammim, and there the Philistines were gathered together to battle, where was a parcel of ground full of barley;
and the people fled from before the Philistines.
13-12:8 And of
the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the hold to the
wilderness men of might, and men of
war fit for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose
faces were like the faces of lions,
and were as swift as the roes upon
the mountains;
13-12:19 And there
fell some of Manasseh to David, when
he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle:
but they helped them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent
him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads.
13-12:33 Of
Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in
war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: they were not of double heart.
13-12:36 And of
Asher, such as went forth to battle, expert in
war, forty thousand.
13-12:37 And on the
other side of Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe
of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, an hundred and twenty thousand.
13-14:15 And it
shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry
trees, that then thou shalt go out to
battle: for God is gone forth before thee to
smite the host of the Philistines.
13-19:7 So they
hired thirty and two thousand chariots, and the king of Maachah and his people;
who came and pitched before Medeba. And the children of Ammon gathered themselves
together from their cities, and came to battle.
13-19:9 And the
children of Ammon came out, and put the battle
in array before the gate of the city: and the kings that were come were by themselves in the field.
13-19:10 Now when
Joab saw that the battle was set against him
before and behind, he chose out of all the choice of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians.
13-19:14 So Joab
and the people that were with him
drew nigh before the Syrians unto the battle; and
they fled before him.
13-19:17 And it was
told David; and he gathered all Israel, and passed over Jordan, and came upon
them, and set the battle in array against them. So when David had put the battle in array against the Syrians, they fought with
him.
13-20:1 And it
came to pass, that after the year was expired, at the time that kings go out to battle, Joab
led forth the power of the army, and wasted the country of the children of
Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at Jerusalem. And Joab
smote Rabbah, and destroyed it.
14-13:3 And
Abijah set the battle in array with an army of
valiant men of war, even four hundred
thousand chosen men: Jeroboam also set the battle
in array against him with eight hundred thousand chosen men, being mighty men of valour.
14-13:14 And when
Judah looked back, behold, the battle was before and behind: and they cried
unto the LORD, and the priests sounded with the trumpets.
14-14:10 Then Asa
went out against him, and they set the battle in
array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.
14-18:5 Therefore
the king of Israel gathered together of prophets four hundred men, and said
unto them, Shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle,
or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for God will deliver it into the king’s hand.
14-18:14 And when
he was come to the king, the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go to
Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And
he said, Go ye up, and prosper, and they shall be delivered into your hand.
14-18:29 And the
king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and will go to
the battle; but put thou on thy robes. So the
king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle.
14-18:34 And the battle increased that day: howbeit the king of Israel
stayed himself up in his chariot against the Syrians until
the even: and about the time of the sun going down he died.
14-20:1 It came
to pass after this also, that the
children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.
14-20:15 And he
said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king
Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason
of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
14-20:17 Ye shall
not need to fight in this battle: set
yourselves, stand ye still, and see
the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be
dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.
14-25:8 But if
thou wilt go, do it, be strong for
the battle: God shall make thee fall before the
enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down.
14-25:13 But the
soldiers of the army which Amaziah sent back, that they should not go with him
to battle, fell upon the cities of Judah, from
Samaria even unto Bethhoron, and smote three thousand of them, and took much
spoil.
18-15:24 Trouble
and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall prevail against him, as a king
ready to the battle.
18-38:23 Which I
have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
18-39:25 He saith
among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle
afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
18-41:8 Lay thine
hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
19-18:39 For thou
hast girded me with strength unto the battle:
thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
19-24:8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong
and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
19-55:18 He hath
delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many
with me.
19-76:3 There
brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.
19-78:9 The
children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the
day of battle.
19-89:43 Thou hast
also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.
19-140:7 O GOD the Lord,
the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
20-21:31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is
of the LORD.
21-9:11 I
returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle
to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of
understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to
them all.
23-9:5 For
every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
23-13:4 The noise
of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise
of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the
host of the battle.
23-22:2 Thou that
art full of stirs, a tumultuous city, a joyous city: thy slain men are not slain with the sword, nor
dead in battle.
23-27:4 Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them
together.
23-28:6 And for a
spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them
that turn the battle to the gate.
23-42:25 Therefore
he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet
he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it
not to heart.
24-8:6 I
hearkened and heard, but they spake
not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done?
every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.
24-18:21 Therefore
deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let
their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain
by the sword in battle.
24-46:3 Order ye
the buckler and shield, and draw near to battle.
24-49:14 I have
heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying, Gather ye together, and come
against her, and rise up to the battle.
24-50:22 A sound of
battle is in
the land, and of great destruction.
24-50:42 They shall hold the bow and the lance: they are cruel, and will not shew mercy:
their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one
put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon.
24-51:20 Thou art my battle
ax and weapons of war: for with thee
will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;
26-7:14 They have
blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
26-13:5 Ye have
not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to
stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.
27-11:20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of
taxes in the glory of the kingdom:
but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
27-11:25 And he
shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a
great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall
not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.
28-1:7 But I
will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their
God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
28-2:18 And in
that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with
the fowls of heaven, and with the
creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down
safely.
28-10:9 O Israel,
thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did
not overtake them.
28-10:14 Therefore shall
a tumult arise among thy people, and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, as
Shalman spoiled Betharbel in the day of battle:
the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children.
29-2:5 Like the
noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a
flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
30-1:14 But I
will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces
thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with
a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:
31-1:1 The
vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a
rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye,
and let us rise up against her in battle.
38-9:10 And I
will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace
unto the heathen: and his dominion shall
be from sea even to sea, and from
the river even to the ends of the
earth.
38-10:3 Mine
anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD
of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his
goodly horse in the battle.
38-10:4 Out of
him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.
38-10:5 And they
shall be as mighty men, which tread
down their enemies in the mire of the
streets in the battle: and they shall fight,
because the LORD is with them, and
the riders on horses shall be confounded.
38-14:2 For I
will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle;
and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and
half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people
shall not be cut off from the city.
38-14:3 Then
shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in
the day of battle.
46-14:8 For if
the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
66-9:7 And the
shapes of the locusts were like unto
horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and
their faces were as the faces of men.
66-9:9 And they
had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings
was as the sound of chariots of many
horses running to battle.
66-16:14 For they
are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world,
to gather them to the battle of that great day
of God Almighty.
66-20:8 And shall
go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog
and Magog, to gather them together to battle:
the number of whom is as the sand of
the sea.

09-1 SAMUEL
09-8:20 That we
also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out
before us, and fight our battles.
09-18:17 And Saul said to David, Behold my elder daughter
Merab, her will I give thee to wife:
only be thou valiant for me, and fight the LORD’S battles.
For Saul said, Let not mine hand be
upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him.
09-25:28 I pray thee,
forgive the trespass of thine handmaid: for the LORD will certainly make my
lord a sure house; because my lord fighteth the battles
of the LORD, and evil hath not been found in thee all thy days.
13-26:27 Out of the
spoils won in battles did they dedicate to
maintain the house of the LORD.
14-32:8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to
fight our battles. And the people rested
themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
23-30:32 And in every place where the grounded staff
shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles
of shaking will he fight with it.
