05-DEUTERONOMY
05-25:13 Thou shalt
not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and
a small.
09-17:40 And he
took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook,
and put them in a shepherd’s bag which he had,
even in a scrip; and his sling was in
his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.
09-17:49 And David
put his hand in his bag, and took thence a
stone, and slang it, and smote the
Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell
upon his face to the earth.
18-14:17 My
transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou sewest up mine iniquity.
20-7:20 He hath taken a bag
of money with him, and will come home
at the day appointed.
20-16:11 A just weight and balance are the Lord’s: all the weights of the bag
are his work.
23-46:6 They
lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in
the balance, and hire a goldsmith;
and he maketh it a god: they fall down, yea, they worship.
33-6:11 Shall I
count them pure with the wicked
balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?
37-1:6 Ye have
sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but
ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he
that earneth wages earneth wages to put
it into a bag with holes.
43-12:6 This he
said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
43-13:29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of
against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

12-2 KINGS
12-5:23 And
Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two
talents of silver in two bags, with two changes
of garments, and laid them upon two
of his servants; and they bare them before
him.
12-12:10 And it was
so, when they saw that there was much money in the chest, that
the king’s scribe and the high priest came up, and they put up in bags, and told the money that was found in the house
of the LORD.
42-12:33 Sell that
ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags
which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief
approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

a lad saw them, and told Absalom: but they went both of them away quickly, and

which had a well in his court; whither they went down.
10-19:16 And Shimei
the son of Gera, a Benjamite, which was of

11-2:8 And,
behold, thou hast with thee Shimei

01-GENESIS
01-19:3 And he
pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his
house; and he made them a feast, and did bake
unleavened bread, and they did eat.
02-16:23 And he
said unto them, This is that which
the LORD hath said, To morrow is the
rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and
seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be
kept until the morning.
03-24:5 And thou
shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes
thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.
03-26:26 And when I have broken the staff of your
bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one
oven, and they shall deliver you your
bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.
09-28:24 And the
woman had a fat calf in the house; and she hasted, and killed it, and took
flour, and kneaded it, and did bake unleavened bread thereof:
10-13:8 So Tamar
went to her brother Amnon’s house; and he was laid down. And she took flour,
and kneaded it, and made cakes in his
sight, and did bake the cakes.
26-4:12 And thou
shalt eat it as barley cakes, and
thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of
man, in their sight.
26-46:20 Then said he unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass
offering and the sin offering, where they shall bake
the meat offering; that they bear them not
out into the utter court, to sanctify the people.

02-EXODUS
02-12:39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought
forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of
Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any
victual.
04-11:8 And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in
a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the
taste of fresh oil.
13-23:29 Both for
the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened
cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that which is fried, and
for all manner of measure and size;
23-44:19 And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding

flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make
the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?

03-LEVITICUS
03-2:4 And if thou
bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in
the oven, it shall be unleavened
cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
03-2:5 And if
thy oblation be a meat offering baken in
a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened,
mingled with oil.
03-2:7 And if
thy oblation be a meat offering baken in
the fryingpan, it shall be made of fine
flour with oil.
03-6:17 It shall
not be baken with leaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my
offerings made by fire; it is most
holy, as is the sin offering, and as
the trespass offering.
03-6:21 In a pan
it shall be made with oil; and when it is
baken, thou shalt bring it in: and the baken
pieces of the meat offering shalt thou offer for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
03-7:9 And all
the meat offering that is baken in the oven, and
all that is dressed in the fryingpan, and in the pan, shall be the priest’s

03-23:17 Ye shall

01-40:1 And it
came to pass after these things, that the

01-40:5 And they

01-40:16 When the chief baker

01-41:10 Pharaoh

04-22:5 He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor,
which is by the river of the land of
the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come
out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over
against me:
04-22:7 And the elders of Moab and the
elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and
they came unto Balaam, and
spake unto him the words of Balak.
04-22:8 And he said unto them, Lodge here
this night, and I will bring you word again, as the LORD shall speak unto me:
and the princes of Moab abode with Balaam.
04-22:9 And God came unto Balaam, and said, What men are these with thee?
04-22:10 And Balaam said unto God, Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab,
hath sent unto me, saying,
04-22:12 And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with
them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed.
04-22:13 And Balaam rose up in the morning, and said unto the
princes of Balak, Get you into your land: for the LORD refuseth to give me
leave to go with you.
04-22:14 And the princes of Moab rose up, and
they went unto Balak, and said, Balaam refuseth to come with us.
04-22:16 And they came to Balaam, and said to him, Thus saith
Balak the son of Zippor, Let nothing, I pray thee, hinder thee from coming unto
me:
04-22:18 And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If
Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the
word of the LORD my God, to do less or more.
04-22:20 And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him,
If the men come to call thee, rise up, and
go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou
do.
04-22:21 And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and
went with the princes of Moab.
04-22:23 And the ass saw the angel of the LORD
standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside
out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way.
04-22:27 And when the ass saw the angel of the
LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam’s anger was kindled, and he smote the ass
with a staff.
04-22:28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the
ass, and she said unto Balaam, What
have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?
04-22:29 And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me:
I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.
04-22:30 And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever
wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.
04-22:31 Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the
LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down
his head, and fell flat on his face.
04-22:34 And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned;
for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way against me: now therefore, if it
displease thee, I will get me back again.
04-22:35 And the angel of the LORD said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only
the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of
Balak.
04-22:36 And when Balak heard that Balaam was come, he went out to
meet him unto a city of Moab, which is in
the border of Arnon, which is in the
utmost coast.
04-22:37 And Balak said unto Balaam, Did I not earnestly send
unto thee to call thee? wherefore camest thou not unto me? am I not able indeed
to promote thee to honour?
04-22:38 And Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee: have I
now any power at all to say any thing? the
word that God putteth in my mouth, that shall I speak.
04-22:39 And Balaam went with Balak, and they came unto
Kirjathhuzoth.
04-22:40 And Balak offered oxen and sheep, and
sent to Balaam, and
to the princes that were with him.
04-22:41 And it came to pass on the morrow,
that Balak took Balaam, and
brought him up into the high places of Baal, that thence he might see the
utmost part of the people.
04-23:1 And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and
prepare me here seven oxen and seven rams.
04-23:2 And Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram.
04-23:3 And Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by thy burnt offering,
and I will go: peradventure the LORD will come to meet me: and whatsoever he
sheweth me I will tell thee. And he went to an high place.
04-23:4 And God met Balaam: and he said unto him, I have prepared seven
altars, and I have offered upon every altar
a bullock and a ram.
04-23:11 And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto
me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.
04-23:16 And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his
mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and say thus.
04-23:25 And Balak said unto Balaam, Neither curse them at all,
nor bless them at all.
04-23:26 But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee,
saying, All that the LORD speaketh, that I must do?
04-23:27 And Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I will
bring thee unto another place; peradventure it
will please God that thou mayest curse me them from thence.
04-23:28 And Balak brought Balaam unto the top of Peor, that
looketh toward Jeshimon.
04-23:29 And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and
prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams.
04-23:30 And
Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
04-24:1 And
when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he
went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face
toward the wilderness.
04-24:2 And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes;
and the spirit of God came upon him.
04-24:3 And he took up his parable, and
said, Balaam the
son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
04-24:10 And Balak’s anger was kindled against
Balaam, and he smote his hands
together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and,
behold, thou hast altogether blessed them
these three times.
04-24:12 And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy
messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying,
04-24:15 And he took up his parable, and said,
Balaam the son of Beor hath said,
and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
04-24:25 And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and
Balak also went his way.
04-31:8 And they slew the kings of Midian,
beside the rest of them that were slain; namely,
Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they
slew with the sword.
04-31:16 Behold, these caused the children of
Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the
matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.
05-23:4 Because they met you not with bread
and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they
hired against thee Balaam the son
of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
05-23:5 Nevertheless
the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD
thy God turned the curse into a blessing
unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
06-13:22 Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children
of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.
06-24:9 Then Balak the son of Zippor, king
of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse
you:
06-24:10 But I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you
still: so I delivered you out of his hand.
16-13:2 Because
they met not the children of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, that he should
curse them: howbeit our God turned the curse into a blessing.
33-6:5 O my
people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him
from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.
61-2:15 Which
have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
65-1:11 Woe unto
them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error
of Balaam for reward, and perished in
the gainsaying of Core.
66-2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou
hast there them that hold the doctrine
of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before
the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to
commit fornication.

LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam’s anger was kindled, and he

a ram on every altar.
04-24:10 And Balak’s
anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called
thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.
04-24:12 And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy
messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying,
04-24:13 If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold,
I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak?
04-24:25 And Balaam rose up, and went and
returned to his place: and Balak also went
his way.
06-24:9 Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred
against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you:
07-11:25 And now art thou any thing better than Balak the son of Zippor, king of
Moab? did he ever strive against Israel, or did he ever fight against them,
33-6:5 O my
people, remember now what Balak king
of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim
unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.

18-JOB
18-31:6 Let me be
weighed in an even balance that God may know
mine integrity.
19-PSALMS
19-62:9 Surely
men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are
altogether lighter than vanity.
20-11:1 A false balance is abomination
to the LORD: but a just weight is his
delight.
20-16:11 A just weight and balance
are the Lord’s: all the weights of
the bag are his work.
20-20:23 Divers weights are
an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance
is not good.
23-40:12 Who hath
measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the
span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the
mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
23-40:15 Behold,
the nations are as a drop of a
bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance:
behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.
23-46:6 They
lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance,
and hire a goldsmith; and he maketh
it a god: they fall down, yea, they worship.

03-LEVITICUS
03-19:36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin,
shall ye have: I am the LORD your
God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
18-6:2 Oh that
my grief were throughly weighed, and my calamity laid in the balances together!
24-32:10 And I
subscribed the evidence, and sealed it, and
took witnesses, and weighed him the
money in the balances.
26-5:1 And
thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and
cause it to pass upon thine head and
upon thy beard: then take thee balances to
weigh, and divide the hair.
26-45:10 Ye shall
have just balances, and a just ephah, and a just
bath.
27-5:27 TEKEL;
Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found
wanting.
28-12:7 He is a merchant, the balances
of deceit are in his hand: he loveth
to oppress.
30-8:5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we
may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the
ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances
by deceit?
33-6:11 Shall I
count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?
66-6:5 And when
he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I
beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous
works of him which is perfect in knowledge?

03-LEVITICUS
03-11:22 Even these of them ye may eat; the
locust after his kind, and the bald locust after
his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
03-13:40 And the
man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is
bald; yet is he clean.
03-13:41 And he
that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he
clean.
03-13:42 And if
there be in the bald head,
or bald forehead, a white reddish
sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in
his bald head,
or his bald
forehead.
03-13:43 Then the
priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if
the rising of the sore be white
reddish in his bald head,
or in his bald
forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;
12-2:23 And he
went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came
forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go
up, thou bald head;
go up, thou bald head.
24-16:6 Both the
great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither
shall men lament for them, nor cut
themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:
24-48:37 For every
head shall be bald, and every beard clipped: upon all the hands shall be cuttings, and upon the loins
sackcloth.
26-27:31 And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for
thee with bitterness of heart and bitter
wailing.
26-29:18 Son of
man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every
shoulder was peeled: yet had
he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served
against it:
33-1:16 Make thee
bald, and poll thee for thy
delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as
the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.

03-LEVITICUS
03-21:5 They
shall not make baldness
upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor
make any cuttings in their flesh.
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-14:1 Ye are the children of the LORD your God:
ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
23-3:24 And it
shall come to pass, that instead of
sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead
of well set hair baldness;
and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.
23-15:2 He is
gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab shall howl over
Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads shall
be baldness, and every beard cut off.
23-22:12 And in
that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with
sackcloth:
24-47:5 Baldness is come upon Gaza;
Ashkelon is cut off with the remnant
of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?
26-7:18 They
shall also gird themselves with
sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
30-8:10 And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all
your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all
loins, and baldness
upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter
day.
33-1:16 Make thee
bald, and poll thee for thy delicate
children; enlarge thy baldness as
the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.

23-ISAIAH
23-22:18 He will
surely violently turn and toss thee like a
ball into a large country: there shalt thou die,
and there the chariots of thy glory shall
be the shame of thy lord’s house.

01-37:25 And they
sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a
company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt.
01-43:11 And their
father Israel said unto them, If it must
be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels,
and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and
almonds:
24-8:22 Is there no balm in Gilead; is
there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my
people recovered?
24-46:11 Go up into
Gilead, and take balm, O
virgin, the daughter of Egypt: in vain shalt thou use many medicines; for thou shalt not be cured.
24-51:8 Babylon
is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
26-27:17 Judah, and
the land of Israel, they were thy
merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey,
and oil, and balm.
