01-12:20 And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him:
and they sent him away, and his wife, and all
that he had.

sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy
servant:

01-21:25 And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of
water, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.

and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away
unto my master.
01-24:56 And he said unto them, Hinder me not, seeing the LORD
hath prospered my way; send me away that I may
go to my master.

Rebekah their sister, and her nurse, and Abraham’s servant, and his men.
01-25:6 But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham
had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from
Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.
01-26:27 And Isaac said unto them, Wherefore come ye to me,
seeing ye hate me, and have sent me away from
you?
01-26:29 That thou wilt do us no hurt, as we have not touched
thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away in peace:
thou art now the blessed of the LORD.
01-26:31 And they rose up betimes in the morning, and sware one
to another: and Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.
01-27:35 And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath
taken away thy blessing.
01-27:36 And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he
hath supplanted me these two times:
he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he
hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast
thou not reserved a blessing for me?
01-27:44 And tarry with him a few days, until thy brother’s
fury turn away;
01-27:45 Until thy brother’s anger turn away from thee, and he forget that
which thou hast done to him:
then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?
01-28:5 And Isaac sent away
Jacob: and he went to Padanaram unto
Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob’s and Esau’s
mother.
01-28:6 When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent
him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from
thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not
take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;
01-30:15 And she said unto her, Is it a small matter that thou hast taken my husband? and wouldest

mirth, and with songs, with tabret, and with harp?
01-31:42 Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and
the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the
labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight.
01-35:2 Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:
01-38:19 And she arose, and went away,
and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood.
01-40:15 For indeed I was stolen away
out of the land of the Hebrews: and here
also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.
01-42:36 And Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye
bereaved of my children: Joseph is not, and Simeon is not,
and ye will take Benjamin away: all
these things are against me.
01-43:14 And God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that
he may send away your other brother, and
Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my
children, I am bereaved.
01-44:3 As soon as the morning was light, the men were sent away, they and their asses.

them, See that ye fall not out by the way.

sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far
away:
intreat for me.
02-10:17 Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this
once, and intreat the LORD your God, that he may take away
from me this death only.
02-10:19 And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which
took away the locusts, and cast them into the
Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt.
02-12:15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the
first day ye shall put away leaven out of your

02-15:15 Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men
of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan

the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce
anger of the LORD may be turned away from

hath turned my wrath away from the children of
Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the
children of Israel in my jealousy.
04-27:4 Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son?
Give unto us therefore a possession
among the brethren of our father.
04-32:15 For if ye turn away
from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and ye shall
destroy all this people.
04-36:4 And when the jubile of the children of Israel shall
be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe
whereunto they are received: so
shall their inheritance be taken away from the
inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.
05-7:4 For they will turn away
thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy
thee suddenly.
05-7:15 And the LORD will take away
from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which
thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.
05-13:5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be
put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which
brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of
bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to
walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from
the midst of thee.

hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy
God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil
from Israel.
05-17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his
heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.
05-19:13 Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt
of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.

the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from
Israel.
05-22:24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of
that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel,
because she cried not, being in the
city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
05-22:29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the
damsel’s father fifty shekels of
silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put
her away all his days.
05-23:14 For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp,
to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy
camp be holy: that he see no unclean
thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
05-24:4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after
that she is defiled; for that is abomination
before the LORD: and thou shalt not
cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away
from among you.
05-26:13 Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have
brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them
unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow,
according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy
commandments, neither have I forgotten them:
05-26:14 I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have
I taken away ought
thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead:
but I have hearkened to the voice of
the LORD my God, and have done
according to all that thou hast commanded me.
05-28:26 And thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the
air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.
05-28:31 Thine ox shall
be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from
before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given
unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them.

the LORD our God, to go and serve the

said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart

the ornaments that were on their
camels’ necks.
07-9:21 And Jotham ran away,
and fled, and went to Beer, and dwelt there, for fear of Abimelech his brother.
07-10:16 And they put away the
strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
07-11:13 And the king of the children of Ammon answered unto
the messengers of Jephthah, Because Israel took away
my land, when they came up out of Egypt, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and unto
Jordan: now therefore restore those lands again peaceably.
07-11:15 And said unto him, Thus saith Jephthah, Israel took
not away the land of Moab, nor the land of the
children of Ammon:
07-11:38 And he said, Go. And he sent her away for two
months: and she went with her
companions, and bewailed her virginity upon the mountains.

my gods which I made, and the priest, and ye are gone away: and what have I more? and what is this that ye say unto me, What aileth thee?
07-19:2 And his concubine played the whore against him, and
went away from him unto her father’s house to
Bethlehemjudah, and was there four whole months.
07-20:13 Now therefore deliver us the men, the children of Belial, which are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin
would not hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of Israel:
07-20:31 And the children of Benjamin went out against the
people, and were drawn away from the city; and they began to smite of the
people, and kill, as at other times,
in the highways, of which one goeth up to the house of God, and the other to
Gibeah in the field, about thirty men of Israel.
09-1:14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken?
put away thy wine from thee.
09-5:11 So they sent and gathered together all the lords of
the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of
the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us not,
and our people: for there was a
deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy
there.
09-6:3 And they said, If ye send away
the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but in any wise return him a

healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.

it away, that it may go.
09-7:3 And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying,
If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and
Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him
only: and he will deliver you out of
the hand of the Philistines.
09-7:4 Then the children of Israel did put away Baalim and Ashtaroth, and served the LORD only.
09-9:26 And they arose early: and it came to pass about the spring of the day, that Samuel
called Saul to the top of the house, saying, Up, that I may send thee away. And Saul arose, and they went out both of them,
he and Samuel, abroad.
09-10:25 Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom,
and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the LORD. And Samuel sent
all the people away, every man to his house.
09-14:16 And the watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Benjamin looked;
and, behold, the multitude melted away, and they
went on beating down one another.
09-15:27 And as Samuel turned about to go away, he laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and
it rent.
09-17:26 And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying,
What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that
he should defy the armies of the living God?
09-19:10 And Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with
the javelin; but he slipped away out of Saul’s
presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night.
09-19:17 And Saul said unto Michal, Why hast thou deceived me
so, and sent away mine enemy, that he is
escaped? And Michal answered Saul, He said unto me, Let me go; why should I
kill thee?
09-20:13 The LORD do so and much more to Jonathan: but if it please my father to do thee evil, then I will shew it
thee, and send thee away, that thou mayest go in
peace: and the LORD be with thee, as
he hath been with my father.
09-20:22 But if I say thus unto the young man, Behold, the
arrows are beyond thee; go thy way: for the LORD hath sent thee away.
09-20:29 And he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our family
hath a sacrifice in the city; and my brother, he hath commanded me to be there: and now, if I have found favour in thine eyes, let me get away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. Therefore he
cometh not unto the king’s table.
09-21:6 So the priest gave him hallowed bread: for there was no
bread there but the shewbread, that was taken from before the LORD, to put hot
bread in the day when it was taken away.
09-23:5 So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with
the Philistines, and brought away their cattle,
and smote them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of
Keilah.
09-23:26 And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David
and his men on that side of the mountain:
and David made haste to get away for fear of
Saul; for Saul and his men compassed David and his men round about to take
them.
09-24:19 For if a man find his enemy, will he let him go well away? wherefore the LORD reward thee good for that
thou hast done unto me this day.
09-25:10 And Nabal answered David’s servants, and said, Who is David? and who is the son of Jesse? there be many servants now a days that break away every man from his master.
09-26:12 So David took the spear and the cruse of water from
Saul’s bolster; and they gat them away, and no
man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all
asleep; because a deep sleep from the LORD was fallen upon them.
09-27:9 And David smote the land, and left neither man nor
woman alive, and took away the sheep, and the
oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to
Achish.
09-28:3 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him,
and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards,
out of the land.
09-28:25 And she brought it
before Saul, and before his servants; and they did eat. Then they rose up,
and went away that night.
09-30:2 And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away,
and went on their way.
09-30:18 And David recovered all that the Amalekites had
carried away:
and David rescued his two wives.
09-30:22 Then answered all the wicked men and men of Belial, of those that went with David,
and said, Because they went not with us, we will not give them ought of the spoil that we have
recovered, save to every man his wife and his children, that they may lead them away,
and depart.
10-1:21 Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let
there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed
with oil.
10-3:21 And Abner said unto David, I will arise and go, and
will gather all Israel unto my lord the king, that they may make a league with
thee, and that thou mayest reign over all that thine heart desireth. And David
sent Abner away; and he went in peace.
10-3:22 And, behold, the servants of David and Joab came from pursuing a troop, and brought in a great
spoil with them: but Abner was not with David in Hebron; for he had
sent him away, and he was gone in peace.
10-3:23 When Joab and all the host that was with him were come, they told Joab, saying, Abner the son of
Ner came to the king, and he hath sent him away,
and he is gone in peace.
10-3:24 Then Joab came to the king, and said, What hast thou
done? behold, Abner came unto thee; why is
it that thou hast sent him away, and he is quite gone?
10-4:7 For when they came into the house, he lay on his bed
in his bedchamber, and they smote him, and slew him, and beheaded him, and took
his head, and gat them away through the plain
all night.
10-4:11 How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous
person in his own house upon his bed? shall I not therefore now require his
blood of your hand, and take you away from the
earth?
10-5:6 And the king and his men went to Jerusalem unto the
Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land:
which spake unto David, saying, Except thou take away
the blind and the lame, thou shalt not come in hither: thinking, David cannot come in hither.
10-7:15 But my mercy shall not depart away
from him, as I took it from Saul,
whom I put away before thee.
10-10:4 Wherefore Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved off
the one half of their beards, and cut off their garments in the middle, even to their buttocks, and sent them away.
10-12:13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the
LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.
10-13:16 And she said unto him, There is no cause: this
evil in sending me away is greater than the other that thou didst unto me. But he would not
hearken unto her.
10-17:18 Nevertheless a lad saw them, and told Absalom: but they went both of them away quickly, and came to a man’s house in Bahurim,
which had a well in his court; whither they went down.
10-18:3 But the people answered, Thou shalt not go forth: for if we flee away, they will not care for us; neither if half of us
die, will they care for us: but now thou art worth ten thousand of us: therefore now it is better that thou succour us out of the city.
10-18:9 And Absalom met the servants of David. And Absalom
rode upon a mule, and the mule went under the thick boughs of a great oak, and
his head caught hold of the oak, and he was taken up between the heaven and the
earth; and the mule that was under
him went away.
10-19:3 And the people gat them by stealth that day into the
city, as people being ashamed steal away when
they flee in battle.
10-19:41 And, behold, all the men of Israel came to the king,
and said unto the king, Why have our brethren the men of Judah stolen thee away, and have brought the king, and his household,
and all David’s men with him, over Jordan?
10-22:46 Strangers shall fade away,
and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
10-23:6 But the sons of
Belial shall be all of them as thorns
thrust away, because they cannot be taken with
hands:
10-23:9 And after him was
Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one
of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to
battle, and the men of Israel were gone away:
10-24:10 And David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered
the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have
done: and now, I beseech thee, O
LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for
I have done very foolishly.
11-2:31 And the king said unto him, Do as he hath said, and fall
upon him, and bury him; that thou mayest take away
the innocent blood, which Joab shed, from me, and from the house of my father.
11-2:39 And it came to pass at the end of three years, that
two of the servants of Shimei ran away unto
Achish son of Maachah king of Gath. And they told Shimei, saying, Behold, thy
servants be in Gath.
11-8:46 If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and
deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away
captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;
11-8:48 And so return
unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their
enemies, which led them away captive, and pray
unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city
which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:
11-8:66 On the eighth day he sent the people away: and
they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for
all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel
his people.
11-11:2 Of the nations concerning
which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to
them, neither shall they come in unto you:
for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
11-11:3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three
hundred concubines: and his wives
turned away his heart.
11-11:4 For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.
11-11:13 Howbeit I will not rend away
all the kingdom; but will give one
tribe to thy son for David my servant’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake which I
have chosen.
11-14:8 And rent the kingdom away
from the house of David, and gave it thee:
and yet thou hast not been as my
servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his
heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;
11-14:10 Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of
Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in
Israel, and will take away the remnant of the
house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung,
till it be all gone.
11-14:26 And he took away the
treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house; he
even took away all: and he took away all the shields
of gold which Solomon had made.
11-15:12 And he took away the
sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.
11-15:22 Then king Asa made a proclamation throughout all
Judah; none was exempted: and they took away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha
had builded; and king Asa built with them Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.
11-16:3 Behold, I will take away
the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy
house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
11-19:4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the
wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is
enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.
11-19:10 And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God
of hosts: for the children of Israel
have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets
with the sword; and I, even I only,
am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

11-20:41 And he hasted, and took the ashes away from his face; and the king of Israel discerned
him that he was of the prophets.
11-21:4 And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased
because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee
the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.
11-21:21 Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him
that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel,
11-22:43 And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he
turned not aside from it, doing that
which was right in the eyes of the LORD:
nevertheless the high places were not taken away;
for the people offered and burnt
incense yet in the high places.
12-2:3 And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest
thou that the LORD will take away thy master from
thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it;
hold ye your peace.

that the LORD will take away thy master from thy

12-2:9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that
Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a
double portion of thy spirit be upon me.
12-3:2 And he wrought evil in the sight of the LORD; but not
like his father, and like his mother:
for he put away the image of Baal that his
father had made.
12-4:27 And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she
caught him by the feet: but Gehazi
came near to thrust her away. And the man of God
said, Let her alone; for her soul is vexed
within her: and the LORD hath hid it from me, and hath not told me.
12-5:2 And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had
brought away captive out of the land of Israel a
little maid; and she waited on Naaman’s wife.
12-5:11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me,
and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the
place, and recover the leper.
12-5:12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than
all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned
and went away in a rage.
12-6:23 And he prepared great provision for them: and when they had eaten and drunk, he
sent them away, and they went to their master.
So the bands of Syria came no more into the land of Israel.
12-6:32 But Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with
him; and the king sent a man from
before him: but ere the messenger
came to him, he said to the elders, See ye how this son of a murderer hath sent
to take away mine head? look, when the messenger
cometh, shut the door, and hold him fast at the door: is not the sound of his
master’s feet behind him?
12-7:15 And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which
the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And
the messengers returned, and told the king.
12-12:3 But the high places were not taken away: the people
still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.
12-12:18 And Jehoash king of Judah took all the hallowed things
that Jehoshaphat, and Jehoram, and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had
dedicated, and his own hallowed things, and all the gold that was found in the treasures of the house of the LORD, and in
the king’s house, and sent it to
Hazael king of Syria: and he went away from Jerusalem.
12-14:4 Howbeit the high places were not taken away: as
yet the people did sacrifice and burnt incense on the high places.
12-17:6 In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took
Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria,
and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the
river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
12-17:11 And there they burnt incense in all the high places,
as did the heathen whom the LORD
carried away before them; and wrought wicked
things to provoke the LORD to anger:
12-17:23 Until the LORD removed Israel out of his sight, as he
had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.
12-17:28 Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught
them how they should fear the LORD.
12-17:33 They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after
the manner of the nations whom they carried away
from thence.
12-18:11 And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in
Habor by the river of Gozan, and in
the cities of the Medes:
12-18:22 But if ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God: is
not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall
worship before this altar in Jerusalem?
12-18:24 How then wilt thou turn away
the face of one captain of the least of my master’s servants, and put thy trust
on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?
12-18:32 Until I come and take you away
to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards,
a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah, when
he persuadeth you, saying, The LORD will deliver us.
12-20:18 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou
shalt beget, shall they take away; and they
shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
12-23:11 And he took away the horses
that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entering in of the house
of the LORD, by the chamber of Nathanmelech the chamberlain, which was in the suburbs, and burned the
chariots of the sun with fire.
12-23:19 And all the houses also of the high places that were in the cities of Samaria, which the
kings of Israel had made to provoke the
LORD to anger, Josiah took away, and did to
them according to all the acts that he had done in Bethel.
12-23:24 Moreover the workers
with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and
all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did
Josiah put away, that he might perform the words
of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the
house of the LORD.
12-23:34 And Pharaohnechoh made Eliakim the son of Josiah king
in the room of Josiah his father, and turned his name to Jehoiakim, and took
Jehoahaz away: and he came to Egypt, and died there.
12-24:14 And he carried away all
Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the
craftsmen and smiths: none remained,
save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
12-24:15 And he carried away
Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king’s mother, and the king’s wives, and his officers,
and the mighty of the land, those carried
he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
12-25:11 Now the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the
multitude, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away.
12-25:14 And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and
the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.
12-25:15 And the firepans, and the bowls, and such things as were of
gold, in gold, and of silver, in silver, the captain of the guard took
away.
12-25:21 And the king of Babylon smote them, and slew them at
Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away
out of their land.
13-5:6 Beerah his son, whom Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria
carried away captive: he was prince of the Reubenites.
13-5:21 And they took away
their cattle; of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and
fifty thousand, and of asses two thousand, and of men an hundred thousand.
13-5:26 And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul
king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria, and he
carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the
Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and
Habor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, unto this day.
13-6:15 And Jehozadak went into
captivity, when the LORD carried away Judah
and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
13-7:21 And Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer,
and Elead, whom the men of Gath that were
born in that land slew, because
they came down to take away their cattle.
13-8:8 And Shaharaim begat children in the country of Moab, after he had sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives.
13-8:13 Beriah also, and Shema, who were heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gath:
13-9:1 So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and,
behold, they were written in the book
of the kings of Israel and Judah, who were
carried away to Babylon for their transgression.
13-10:12 They arose, all the valiant men, and took away the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sons, and
brought them to Jabesh, and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and
fasted seven days.
13-12:19 And there fell some
of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to
battle: but they helped them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon
advisement sent him away, saying, He will fall
to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our
heads.
13-14:14 Therefore David enquired again of God; and God said
unto him, Go not up after them; turn away from
them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.
13-17:13 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was
before thee:

shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;
14-9:12 And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her
desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that
which she had brought unto the king. So she turned, and went away to her own land, she and her servants.
14-12:9 So Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem,
and took away the treasures of the house of the
LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house; he took all: he carried away also the shields
of gold which Solomon had made.

altars of the strange gods, and the
high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves:

of all the cities of Judah the high places and the images: and the kingdom was quiet before him.
14-14:13 And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them unto Gerar: and the Ethiopians were overthrown, that they could not recover
themselves; for they were destroyed before the LORD, and before his host; and
they carried away very much spoil.
14-14:15 They smote also the tents of cattle, and carried away sheep and camels in abundance, and returned to
Jerusalem.
14-15:8 And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of
Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away
the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the
cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the
LORD, that was before the porch of
the LORD.
14-15:17 But the high places were not taken away out of Israel:
nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.
14-16:6 Then Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith
Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah.

14-19:3 Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in
that thou hast taken away the groves out of the
land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.

abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they

three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.

as yet the people had not prepared their hearts unto the God of their fathers.
14-21:17 And they came up into Judah, and brake into it, and
carried away all the substance that was found in
the king’s house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was never a
son left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.

thousand left alive did the children
of Judah carry away captive, and brought them
unto the top of the rock, and cast them down from the top of the rock, that
they all were broken in pieces.
14-25:27 Now after the time that Amaziah did turn away from following the LORD they made a conspiracy
against him in Jerusalem; and he fled to Lachish: but they sent to Lachish after him, and slew him there.
14-28:5 Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand
of the king of Syria; and they smote him, and carried away
a great multitude of them captives, and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the
king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter.
14-28:8 And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand,
women, sons, and daughters, and took also away
much spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.
14-28:17 For again the Edomites had come and smitten Judah, and
carried away captives.
14-28:21 For Ahaz took away a
portion out of the house of the LORD,
and out of the house of the king, and
of the princes, and gave it unto the
king of Assyria: but he helped him
not.
14-29:6 For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the eyes of the
LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away
their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.
14-29:10 Now it is in
mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce
wrath may turn away from us.
14-29:19 Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign
did cast away in his transgression, have we
prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they are
before the altar of the LORD.
14-30:8 Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the
LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the
fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.
14-30:9 For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your
children shall find compassion before
them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not
turn away his
face from you, if ye return unto him.
14-30:14 And they arose and took away
the altars that were in Jerusalem,
and all the altars for incense took they away,
and cast them into the brook Kidron.
14-32:12 Hath not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded
Judah and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall worship before one altar, and burn
incense upon it?
14-33:15 And he took away the strange
gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had
built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.
14-34:33 And Josiah took away
all the abominations out of all the countries that pertained to the children of Israel, and made all that were present
in Israel to serve, even to serve the
LORD their God. And all his days they
departed not from following the LORD, the God of their fathers.
14-35:23 And the archers shot at king Josiah; and the king said
to his servants, Have me away; for I am sore
wounded.
14-36:20 And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and
his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:
15-2:1 Now these are the
children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had
been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king
of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and
came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;
15-5:12 But after that our fathers had provoked the God of
heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of
Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon.
15-8:35 Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt
offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and
six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.
15-9:4 Then were assembled unto me every one that trembled at
the words of the God of Israel, because of the transgression of those that had
been carried away; and I sat astonied until the
evening sacrifice.
15-10:3 Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to
put away all the wives, and such as are born of
them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the
commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law.
15-10:6 Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and
went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came
thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been
carried away.

18-14:10 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and
where is he?

grow out of the dust of the earth; and
thou destroyest the hope of man.

city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
23-18:5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and
the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with
pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.
23-19:6 And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the
brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.
23-19:7 The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the
brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.
23-20:4 So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians
captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
23-22:4 Therefore said I, Look away
from me: I will weep bitterly,
labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.
23-22:17 Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover
thee.
23-24:4 The earth mourneth and
fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away,
the haughty people of the earth do languish.
23-25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD
will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the
rebuke of his people shall he take away from off
all the earth: for the LORD hath

23-27:9 By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be
purged; and this is all the fruit to
take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones
of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images
shall not stand up.
23-28:17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and
righteousness to the plummet: and
the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and
the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
23-29:5 Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like
small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant
suddenly.
23-30:22 Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images
of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a
menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.
23-31:7 For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which
your own hands have made unto you for a
sin.
23-35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to
Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall
flee away.
23-36:7 But if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our God: is
it not he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall
worship before this altar?
23-36:9 How then wilt thou turn away
the face of one captain of the least of my master’s servants, and put thy trust
on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?
23-36:17 Until I come and take you away
to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards.
23-39:7 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou
shalt beget, shall they take away; and they
shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

sown: yea, their stock shall not

23-49:19 For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of

mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the

will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.
23-50:1 Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye
sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
23-50:5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not
rebellious, neither turned away back.
23-51:6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the
earth beneath: for the heavens shall
vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax
old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever,
and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
23-51:11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and
come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head:
they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow
and mourning shall flee away.
23-52:5 Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that
my people is taken away for nought? they that
rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every
day is blasphemed.
23-57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken
away, none considering that the righteous is
taken away from the evil to come.
23-57:13 When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the
wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall
take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land,
and shall inherit my holy mountain;

thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke,

and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.

backward, and justice standeth afar off:
for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
23-64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our
iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
24-1:3 It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of
Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of
Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of
Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.
24-2:24 A wild ass used to the wilderness, that snuffeth up the wind at her
pleasure; in her occasion who can turn her away?
all they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find
her.
24-3:1 They say, If a man put away
his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto
her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot
with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.
24-3:8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding
Israel committed adultery I had put her away,
and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but
went and played the harlot also.
24-3:19 But I said, How shall I put thee among the children,
and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I
said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.
24-4:1 If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return
unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt
thou not remove.
24-4:4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and
inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my
fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
24-5:10 Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a
full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD’S.
24-5:25 Your iniquities have turned away
these things, and your sins have
withholden good things from you.
24-6:4 Prepare ye war against her; arise, and let us go up at
noon. Woe unto us! for the day goeth away, for
the shadows of the evening are stretched out.
24-6:29 The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the
fire; the founder melteth in vain:
for the wicked are not plucked away.
24-7:29 Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the
LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
24-7:33 And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the
fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.
24-8:4 Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the
LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away,
and not return?
24-8:13 I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there
shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf
shall fade; and the things that I have
given them shall pass away from them.
24-13:17 But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in
secret places for your pride; and
mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord’s flock is
carried away captive.
24-13:19 The cities of the south shall be shut up, and none
shall open them: Judah shall be carried away
captive all of it, it shall be wholly carried away
captive.
24-13:24 Therefore will I scatter them as the stubble that
passeth away by the wind of the wilderness.
24-15:15 O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take
me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have
suffered rebuke.
24-16:5 For thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of
mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace
from this people, saith the LORD, even lovingkindness
and mercies.
24-18:20 Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have
digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak good for
them, and to turn away thy wrath from them.
24-22:10 Weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: but
weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor see
his native country.
24-23:2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against
the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the
LORD.
24-24:1 The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD,
after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away
captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah,
with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.
24-24:5 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these
good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away
captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the
Chaldeans for their good.
24-27:20 Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he
carried away captive Jeconiah the son of
Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah
and Jerusalem;
24-28:3 Within two full years will I bring again into this
place all the vessels of the LORD’S house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon
took away from this place, and carried them to
Babylon:
24-28:6 Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again
the vessels of the LORD’S house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.
24-29:1 Now these are the
words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the
residue of the elders which were carried away captives,
and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom
Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from
Jerusalem to Babylon;
24-29:4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto
all that are carried away captives, whom I have
caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto
Babylon;
24-29:7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused
you to be carried away captives, and pray unto
the LORD for it: for in the peace
thereof shall ye have peace.
24-29:14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all
the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD;
and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
24-32:40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them,
that I will not turn away from them, to do them
good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from
me.
24-33:26 Then will I cast away
the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so
that I will not take any of his
seed to be rulers over the seed of
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I
will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
24-37:13 And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of
the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the
son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans.
24-37:14 Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I fall not away to the
Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him:
so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.
24-38:22 And, behold, all the women that are left in the king
of Judah’s house shall be brought
forth to the king of Babylon’s princes, and those women shall say, Thy friends have set thee on, and have prevailed
against thee: thy feet are sunk in
the mire, and they are turned away back.
24-39:9 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Babylon the remnant of the people
that remained in the city, and those that fell away,
that fell to him, with the rest of the people that remained.
24-40:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after
that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he
had taken him being bound in chains among all that were carried away captive of Jerusalem and Judah, which were
carried away captive unto Babylon.
24-40:7 Now when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made
Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him
men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were
not carried away captive to Babylon;
24-41:10 Then Ishmael carried away
captive all the residue of the people that were
in Mizpah, even the king’s
daughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzaradan the
captain of the guard had committed to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah
carried them away captive, and departed to go
over to the Ammonites.
24-41:14 So all the people that Ishmael had carried away captive from Mizpah cast about and returned, and
went unto Johanan the son of Kareah.
24-43:3 But Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against
us, for to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to
death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.
24-43:12 And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of
Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away
captives: and he shall array himself
with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go
forth from thence in peace.
24-46:5 Wherefore have I seen them dismayed and turned away
back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look not
back: for fear was round about,
saith the LORD.
24-46:6 Let not the swift flee away,
nor the mighty man escape; they shall stumble, and fall toward the north by the
river Euphrates.
24-46:15 Why are thy valiant men swept away? they stood not,
because the LORD did drive them.
24-46:21 Also her hired men are
in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back, and are fled away
together: they did not stand,
because the day of their calamity was come upon them, and the time of their visitation.
24-48:9 Give wings unto Moab, that it may flee and get away: for
the cities thereof shall be desolate, without any to dwell therein.
24-49:19 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling
of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away
from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before
me?
24-49:29 Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they
shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their
camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is
on every side.
24-50:6 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned
them away on
the mountains: they have gone
from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.
24-50:17 Israel is a
scattered sheep; the lions have driven him
away:
first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of
Babylon hath broken his bones.
24-50:44 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling
of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong:
but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I
may appoint over her? for who is like
me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?
24-51:50 Ye that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your
mind.
24-52:15 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive certain
of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in
the city, and those that fell away, that fell to
the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.
24-52:18 The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers,
and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they
ministered, took they away.
24-52:19 And the basons, and the firepans, and the bowls, and
the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; that which was of gold in gold, and that which was of silver in silver,
took the captain of the guard away.
24-52:27 And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to
death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land.
24-52:28 This is the
people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year three thousand
Jews and three and twenty:
24-52:29 In the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty and
two persons:
24-52:30 In the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar
Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away
captive of the Jews seven hundred forty and five persons: all the persons were four
thousand and six hundred.
25-2:6 And he hath violently taken away
his tabernacle, as if it were of a
garden: he hath destroyed his places
of the assembly: the LORD hath
caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath
despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.
25-2:14 Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for
thee: and they have not discovered
thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but
have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.
25-4:9 They that be slain with the sword are better than they that be slain with hunger: for these pine away, stricken through for want of the fruits of the field.
25-4:15 They cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered,
they said among the heathen, They shall no more sojourn there.
25-4:22 The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O
daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away
into captivity: he will visit thine
iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover thy sins.
26-3:14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my
spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.
26-4:17 That they may want bread and water, and be astonied
one with another, and consume away for their
iniquity.
26-11:18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the
abominations thereof from thence.
26-14:6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the
Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from
your idols; and turn away your faces from all
your abominations.
26-16:9 Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed
away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee
with oil.
26-16:50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination
before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.
26-18:24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the
abominations that the wicked man doeth,
shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath
trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
26-18:26 When a righteous man
turneth away from his righteousness, and
committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done
shall he die.
26-18:27 Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness
that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save
his soul alive.
26-18:28 Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath
committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
26-18:31 Cast away from you all
your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and
a new spirit: for why will ye die, O
house of Israel?
26-20:7 Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not
yourselves with the idols of Egypt:
I am the LORD your God.
26-20:8 But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken
unto me: they did not every man cast
away the abominations of their eyes, neither did
they forsake the idols of Egypt:
then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against
them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
26-23:25 And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they
shall deal furiously with thee: they
shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy
remnant shall fall by the sword: they
shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the
fire.
26-23:26 They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and
take away thy fair jewels.
26-23:29 And they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall
take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee
naked and bare: and the nakedness of
thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.
26-24:16 Son of man, behold, I take away
from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears
run down.
26-24:23 And your tires shall
be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward
another.
26-26:16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from
their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put
off their broidered garments: they
shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and
shall tremble at every moment, and be
astonished at thee.
26-30:4 And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain
shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be
broken down.
26-33:4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and
taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away,
his blood shall be upon his own head.
26-33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not
the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at
the watchman’s hand.
26-33:10 Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of
Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?
26-34:4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye
healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was
driven away, neither have ye sought that which
was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.
26-34:16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that
which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will
strengthen that which was sick: but
I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.
26-36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit
will I put within you: and I will
take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and
I will give you an heart of flesh.
26-38:13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with
all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a
spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away
cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
26-43:9 Now let them put away
their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell
in the midst of them for ever.
26-44:10 And the Levites that are gone away
far from me, when Israel went astray, which went astray away from me after their idols; they shall even bear their
iniquity.
26-44:22 Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor
her that is put away: but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel,
or a widow that had a priest before.
26-45:9 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes
of Israel: remove violence and
spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away
your exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD.
27-1:16 Thus Melzar took away the
portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them
pulse.
27-2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver,
and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the
summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away,
that no place was found for them:
and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the
whole earth.
27-4:14 He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and
cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches:
27-7:12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their
dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
27-7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a
kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
27-7:26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
27-8:11 Yea, he magnified himself
even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the
place of his sanctuary was cast down.
27-9:16 O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech
thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away
from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain:
because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy
people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
27-11:12 And when he hath taken away
the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.
27-11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall
pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away
the daily sacrifice, and they shall
place the abomination that maketh desolate.
27-11:44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall
trouble him: therefore he shall go
forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away
many.
27-12:11 And from the time that
the daily sacrifice shall be
taken away, and the abomination that maketh
desolate set up, there shall be a
thousand two hundred and ninety days.
28-1:6 And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name
Loruhamah: for I will no more have
mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.
28-2:2 Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife,
neither am I her husband: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her
adulteries from between her breasts;
28-2:9 Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season
thereof, and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.
28-2:17 For I will take away
the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by
their name.
28-4:3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that
dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the
fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
28-4:11 Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.
28-5:14 For I will be unto
Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I
will take away, and none shall rescue him.
28-6:4 O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what
shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is
as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
28-9:11 As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the
conception.
28-9:17 My God will cast them away,
because they did not hearken unto him:
and they shall be wanderers among the nations.
28-13:3 Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as
the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of
the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.
28-13:11 I gave thee a king in mine anger, and took him away
in my wrath.
28-14:2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will
we render the calves of our lips.
28-14:4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
29-1:7 He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away;
the branches thereof are made white.
29-1:12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth;
the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are
withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
30-1:3 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of
Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they
have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:
30-1:6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza,
and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they
carried away captive the whole captivity, to
deliver them up to Edom:

up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:

pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did
tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:
30-1:13 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the
children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away
the punishment thereof; because they
have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their
border:
30-2:1 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab,
and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he
burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:
30-2:4 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of
Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they
have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and
their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:
30-2:6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of
Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they
sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;
30-2:16 And he that is courageous
among the mighty shall flee away naked in that
day, saith the LORD.
30-4:2 The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the
days shall come upon you, that he will take you away
with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.
30-4:10 I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner
of Egypt: your young men have I
slain with the sword, and have taken away your
horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me,
saith the LORD.
30-5:23 Take thou away from me
the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
30-6:3 Ye that put far away
the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near;
30-7:11 For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and
Israel shall surely be led away captive out of
their own land.
30-7:12 Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee
thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat
bread, and prophesy there:
30-9:1 I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the
door, that the posts may shake: and
cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the
sword: he that fleeth of them shall
not flee away, and he that escapeth of them
shall not be delivered.
31-1:11 In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in
the day that the strangers carried away captive
his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon
Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of
them.
32-3:9 Who can tell if God
will turn and repent, and turn away from his
fierce anger, that we perish not?
33-1:11 Pass ye away, thou
inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of
Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.
33-2:2 And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
33-2:4 In that day shall one
take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my
people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.
33-2:9 The women of my people have ye cast out from their
pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away
my glory for ever.
34-2:2 For the LORD hath turned away
the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel: for the emptiers have emptied them out, and marred their vine
branches.
34-2:7 And Huzzab shall be led away
captive, she shall be brought up, and her maids shall lead her as with the voice of doves, tabering upon their breasts.
34-2:8 But Nineveh is of
old like a pool of water: yet they
shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back.
34-3:10 Yet was she
carried away, she went into captivity: her young children also were dashed
in pieces at the top of all the streets:
and they cast lots for her honourable men, and all her great men were bound in
chains.
34-3:16 Thou hast multiplied thy merchants above the stars of
heaven: the cankerworm spoileth, and
fleeth away.
34-3:17 Thy crowned are as
the locusts, and thy captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the
hedges in the cold day, but when the
sun ariseth they flee away, and their place is
not known where they are.
36-2:7 And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of
Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in
the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.
36-3:11 In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy
doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the
midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty

thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
38-7:11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they

his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as

38-10:11 And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and
shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be
brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
38-14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will
smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall
consume away while they stand upon their feet,
and their eyes shall consume away in their
holes, and their tongue shall consume away in
their mouth.
39-2:3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon
your faces, even the dung of your
solemn feasts; and one shall take you
away with it.
39-2:6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was
not found in his lips: he walked
with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away
from iniquity.

40-14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was
there alone.
40-15:23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came
and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she
crieth after us.
40-15:32 Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because
they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.
40-15:39 And he sent away the
multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.
40-19:3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and
saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away
his wife for every cause?
40-19:7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give

foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be

40-24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away,
but my words shall not pass away.
40-24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.
40-27:64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure
until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the
dead: so the last error shall be
worse than the first.
40-28:13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole
him away while
we slept.
40-28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

him they cast stones, and wounded him in
the head, and sent him away shamefully handled.
41-13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

41-14:53 And they led Jesus away
to the high priest: and with him
were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.
41-15:1 And straightway in the morning the chief priests held
a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound
Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
41-15:16 And the soldiers led him away
into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.
41-16:3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
41-16:4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was
rolled away:
for it was very great.
42-1:25 Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein
he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.
42-1:53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the
rich he hath sent empty away.
42-2:15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to
another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to

42-23:18 And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man,
and release unto us Barabbas:
42-23:26 And as they led him away,
they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on
him they laid the cross, that he might bear it
after Jesus.
42-24:2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
43-1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and
saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away
the sin of the world.

unto the city to buy meat.)
43-5:13 And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.

the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by

was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes,
and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
43-11:48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him:
and the Romans shall come and take away both our
place and nation.
43-12:11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.
43-14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again

you that I go away: for if I go not away, the
Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest
that same year.
43-19:15 But they cried out, Away

with him, crucify him. Pilate saith
unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no
king but Caesar.
43-19:16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be
crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him
away.
43-19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation,
that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that
sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken,
and that they might be taken away.
43-19:38 And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple
of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take
away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave.
He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.
43-20:1 The first day of
the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre,
and seeth the stone taken away from the
sepulchre.
43-20:2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to
the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not
where they have laid him.
43-20:10 Then the disciples went away
again unto their own home.
43-20:13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She
saith unto them, Because they have taken away my
Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
43-20:15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom
seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou
have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
44-3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus,
sent him to bless you, in turning away every one
of you from his iniquities.
44-5:37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of
the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were
dispersed.
44-7:27 But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over

44-7:43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star
of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond

Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the

covenant unto them, when I shall take away their

all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
66-21:10 And he carried me away
in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the
holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
66-22:19 And if any man shall take away
from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out
of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
