point to die: and what profit shall
this birthright do to me?

same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee,
and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham’s sake.
01-27:1 And it came to pass, that when Isaac

art thou, my son?

thy firstborn; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may

Who art thou? And he said, I am thy
son, thy firstborn Esau.

of Heth, such as these which are of
the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?
01-28:13 And, behold, the LORD stood above it,
and said, I am
the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee
will I give it, and to thy seed;
01-28:15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in
all places whither thou goest, and
will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have
done that which I have spoken to thee
of.

pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow
unto me: now arise, get thee out
from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred.
01-32:10 I am
not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou
hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and
now I am become two bands.
01-35:11 And God said unto him, I am God
Almighty: be fruitful and multiply;
a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of
thy loins;

your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.

visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.
01-46:3 And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I
will there make of thee a great nation:
01-49:29 And he charged them, and said unto
them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave
that is in the field of Ephron the
Hittite,
01-50:19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?
02-3:4 And when the LORD saw that he
turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and
said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
02-3:6 Moreover he said, I am the
God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
02-3:8 And I am
come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them
up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk
and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the
Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
02-3:11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I,
that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of
Israel out of Egypt?
02-3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto
the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto
you.
02-3:19 And I am
sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.
02-4:10 And Moses said unto the LORD, O my
Lord, I am
not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy
servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow
tongue.
02-6:2 And God spake unto Moses, and said
unto him, I am
the LORD:
02-6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of
Israel, I am
the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians,
and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched
out arm, and with great judgments:
02-6:7 And I will take you to me for a
people, and I will be to you a God:
and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from
under the burdens of the Egyptians.
02-6:8 And I will bring you in unto the
land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to
Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am
the LORD.
02-6:12 And Moses spake before the LORD,
saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then
shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?
02-6:29 That the LORD spake unto Moses,
saying, I am
the LORD: speak thou unto
Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.
02-6:30 And Moses said before the LORD,
Behold, I am
of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?
02-7:5 And the Egyptians shall know that I
am the
LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of
Israel from among them.
02-7:17 Thus saith the LORD, In this thou
shalt know that I am the LORD: behold,
I will smite with the rod that is in
mine hand upon the waters which are in
the river, and they shall be turned to blood.
02-8:22 And I will sever in that day the
land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the
LORD in the midst of the earth.
02-9:29 And Moses said unto him, As soon as
I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad
my hands unto the LORD; and the
thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know
how that the earth is the Lord’s.
02-10:2 And that thou mayest tell in the
ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and
my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the
LORD.
02-12:12 For I will pass through the land of
Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both
man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
02-14:4 And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart,
that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon
all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.
02-14:18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the
LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon
his horsemen.
02-15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently
hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in
his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I
will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the
Egyptians: for I am the
LORD that healeth thee.
02-16:12 I have heard the murmurings of the
children of Israel: speak unto them,
saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread;
and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.
02-18:6 And he said unto Moses, I thy father
in law Jethro am come unto thee, and thy wife,
and her two sons with her.
02-20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have
brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
02-20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to
them, nor serve them: for I the LORD
thy God am
a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto
the third and fourth generation of
them that hate me;
02-22:27 For that is his covering only, it is his
raiment for his skin: wherein shall
he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear;
for I am gracious.
02-29:46 And they shall know that I am the
LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may
dwell among them: I am the
LORD their God.
02-31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of
Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign
between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
03-8:35 Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye
die not: for so I am commanded.
03-10:13 And ye shall eat it in the holy
place, because it is thy due, and thy
sons’ due, of the sacrifices of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.
03-11:44 For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify
yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy:
neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that
creepeth upon the earth.
03-11:45 For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out
of the land of Egypt, to be your God:
ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
03-18:2 Speak unto the children of Israel,
and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.
03-18:4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep
mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the
LORD your God.
03-18:5 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes,
and my judgments: which if a man do,
he shall live in them: I am the
LORD.
03-18:6 None of you shall approach to any
that is near of kin to him, to uncover their
nakedness: I am the
LORD.
03-18:21 And thou shalt not let any of thy
seed pass through the fire to Molech,
neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am
the LORD.
03-18:30 Therefore shall ye keep mine
ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs,
which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
03-19:2 Speak unto all the congregation of
the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.
03-19:3 Ye shall fear every man his mother,
and his father, and keep my sabbaths:
I am the
LORD your God.
03-19:4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to
yourselves molten gods: I am the
LORD your God.
03-19:10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard,
neither shalt thou gather every grape
of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.
03-19:12 And ye shall not swear by my name
falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am
the LORD.
03-19:14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor
put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.
03-19:16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the
blood of thy neighbour: I am the
LORD.
03-19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any
grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself: I am the LORD.
03-19:25 And in the fifth year shall ye eat of
the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the LORD your God.
03-19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in
your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am
the LORD.
03-19:30 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and
reverence my sanctuary: I am the
LORD.
03-19:31 Regard not them that have familiar
spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am
the LORD your God.
03-19:32 Thou shalt rise up before the hoary
head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am
the LORD.
03-19:34 But
the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among
you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of
Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
03-19:36 Just balances, just weights, a just
ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have:
I am the
LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
03-19:37 Therefore shall ye observe all my
statutes, and all my judgments, and do them:
I am the
LORD.
03-20:7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and
be ye holy: for I am the
LORD your God.
03-20:8 And ye shall keep my statutes, and
do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.
03-20:24 But I have said unto you, Ye shall
inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that
floweth with milk and honey: I am the
LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.
03-20:26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
03-21:8 Thou shalt sanctify him therefore;
for he offereth the bread of thy God:
he shall be holy unto thee: for I
the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.
03-21:12 Neither shall he go out of the
sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing
oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
03-22:2 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons,
that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel,
and that they profane not my holy name in
those things which they hallow unto me:
I am the
LORD.
03-22:3 Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your
generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel
hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut
off from my presence: I am the
LORD.
03-22:8 That which dieth of itself, or is
torn with beasts, he shall not eat to
defile himself therewith: I am the
LORD.
03-22:30 On the same day it shall be eaten up;
ye shall leave none of it until the morrow:
I am the
LORD.
03-22:31 Therefore shall ye keep my
commandments, and do them: I am the
LORD.
03-22:32 Neither shall ye profane my holy
name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am
the LORD which hallow you,
03-22:33 That brought you out of the land of
Egypt, to be your God: I am the
LORD.
03-23:22 And when ye reap the harvest of your
land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou
reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor,
and to the stranger: I am the
LORD your God.
03-23:43 That your generations may know that I
made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the
land of Egypt: I am the
LORD your God.
03-24:22 Ye shall have one manner of law, as
well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.
03-25:17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one
another; but thou shalt fear thy God:
for I am the
LORD your God.
03-25:38 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out
of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.
03-25:55 For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
03-26:1 Ye shall make you no idols nor
graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow
down unto it: for I am the
LORD your God.
03-26:2 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and
reverence my sanctuary: I am the
LORD.
03-26:13 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out
of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken
the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
03-26:44 And yet for all that, when they be in
the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor
them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
03-26:45 But I will for their sakes remember
the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt
in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am
the LORD.
04-3:13 Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt
I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.
04-3:41 And thou shalt take the Levites for
me (I am the
LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle
of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children
of Israel.
04-3:45 Take the Levites instead of all the
firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead
of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am
the LORD.
04-10:10 Also in the day of your gladness, and
in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with
the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace
offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.
04-11:14 I am
not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.
04-11:21 And Moses said, The people, among
whom I am,
are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them
flesh, that they may eat a whole month.
04-15:41 I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the
land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the
LORD your God.
04-18:20 And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou
shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among
them: I am thy part and thine inheritance
among the children of Israel.
04-22:30 And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I
thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And
he said, Nay.
04-22:37 And Balak said unto Balaam, Did I not
earnestly send unto thee to call thee? wherefore camest thou not unto me? am I not able indeed to promote thee to honour?
04-22:38 And Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee:
have I now any power at all to say any thing? the word that God putteth in my
mouth, that shall I speak.
05-1:9 And I spake unto you at that time,
saying, I am not able to bear you myself alone:
05-1:42 And the LORD said unto me, Say unto
them, Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your
enemies.
05-5:6 I am the LORD thy God, which brought
thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
05-5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself
unto them, nor serve them: for I the
LORD thy God am
a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto
the third and fourth generation of
them that hate me,
05-26:3 And thou shalt go unto the priest
that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD
thy God, that I am come unto the country which
the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.
05-29:6 Ye have not eaten bread, neither
have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that
ye might know that I am the LORD your God.
05-31:2 And he said unto them, I am an
hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the LORD hath said unto me, Thou
shalt not go over this Jordan.
05-31:27 For I know thy rebellion, and thy
stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been
rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death?
05-32:39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there
is no god with me: I kill, and I
make alive; I wound, and I heal:
neither is there any that can deliver
out of my hand.
06-5:14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the
earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
06-14:10 And now, behold, the LORD hath kept
me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake
this word unto Moses, while the children
of Israel wandered in the wilderness:
and now, lo, I am
this day fourscore and five years old.
06-14:11 As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my
strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.
06-17:14 And the children of Joseph spake unto
Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but
one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the
LORD hath blessed me hitherto?
06-23:2 And Joshua called for all Israel, and for their elders, and for their
heads, and for their judges, and for their officers, and said unto them, I am old and stricken
in age:
06-23:14 And, behold, this day I am going the
way of all the earth: and ye know in
all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all
the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to
pass unto you, and not one thing hath
failed thereof.
07-4:19 And he
said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave
him drink, and covered him.
07-6:10 And I
said unto you, I am
the LORD your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye
dwell: but ye have not obeyed my
voice.
07-6:15 And he
said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the
least in my father’s house.
07-8:5 And he
said unto the men of Succoth, Give, I pray you, loaves of bread unto the people
that follow me; for they be faint,
and I am pursuing after Zebah and Zalmunna,
kings of Midian.
07-9:2 Speak, I
pray you, in the ears of all the men of Shechem, Whether is better for you, either that all the sons of Jerubbaal, which are threescore and ten persons,
reign over you, or that one reign over you? remember also that I am your
bone and your flesh.
07-13:11 And Manoah
arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said unto him, Art thou the man that spakest unto the
woman? And he said, I am.
07-17:9 And Micah
said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I
go to sojourn where I may find a place.
07-18:4 And he
said unto them, Thus and thus dealeth Micah with me, and hath hired me, and I am his priest.
07-19:18 And he
said unto him, We are passing from
Bethlehemjudah toward the side of mount Ephraim; from thence am I: and I went to Bethlehemjudah, but I am now going
to the house of the LORD; and there is no
man that receiveth me to house.
08-1:12 Turn again,
my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have
hope, if I should have an husband
also to night, and should also bear sons;
08-2:10 Then she
fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have
I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I
am a
stranger?
08-3:9 And he
said, Who art thou? And she answered,
I am Ruth
thine handmaid: spread therefore thy
skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a
near kinsman.
08-3:12 And now
it is true that I am thy near kinsman:
howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I.
08-4:4 And I
thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it
before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt
redeem it, redeem it:
but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell
me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after
thee. And he said, I will redeem it.
09-1:8 Then
said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou
not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?
09-1:15 And
Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong
drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.
09-1:26 And she
said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth,
my lord, I am
the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD.
09-3:4 That the
LORD called Samuel: and he answered,
Here am I.
09-3:5 And he
ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called
not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.
09-3:6 And the
LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here
am I;
for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.
09-3:8 And the
LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and
said, Here am
I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the
child.
09-3:16 Then Eli
called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here am I.
09-4:16 And the
man said unto Eli, I am he that came out of the army, and I fled to day
out of the army. And he said, What is there done, my son?
09-9:19 And
Samuel answered Saul, and said, I am the seer:
go up before me unto the high place; for ye shall eat with me to day, and to
morrow I will let thee go, and will tell thee all that is in thine heart.
09-9:21 And Saul
answered and said, Am not I a Benjamite, of the smallest of the
tribes of Israel? and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of
Benjamin? wherefore then speakest thou so to me?
09-12:2 And now,
behold, the king walketh before you:
and I am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my
sons are with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day.
09-12:3 Behold,
here I am: witness against me before the
LORD, and before his anointed: whose
ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have
I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.
09-14:7 And his
armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is
in thine heart: turn thee;
behold, I am
with thee according to thy heart.
09-16:2 And
Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it,
he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD.
09-16:5 And he
said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he
sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.
09-17:8 And he
stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come
out to set your battle in array? am not I
a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him
come down to me.
09-17:43 And the
Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves?
And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.
09-17:58 And Saul
said to him, Whose son art thou, thou young man? And David answered, I am the
son of thy servant Jesse the Bethlehemite.
09-18:18 And David
said unto Saul, Who am I? and what is
my life, or my father’s family in
Israel, that I should be son in law to the king?
09-18:23 And Saul’s
servants spake those words in the ears of David. And David said, Seemeth it to
you a light thing to be a king’s son in law, seeing that I am a poor man, and lightly esteemed?
09-22:12 And Saul
said, Hear now, thou son of Ahitub. And he answered, Here I am, my
lord.
09-28:15 And Samuel
said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I
am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war
against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by
prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I
have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
09-30:13 And David
said unto him, To whom belongest thou?
and whence art thou? And he said, I am a
young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because
three days ago I fell sick.
10-1:3 And David
said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp
of Israel am I escaped.
10-1:7 And when
he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I.
10-1:8 And he
said unto me, Who art thou? And I
answered him, I am
an Amalekite.
10-1:13 And David
said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.
10-1:26 I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing
the love of women.
10-2:20 Then
Abner looked behind him, and said, Art thou
Asahel? And he answered, I am.
10-3:8 Then was
Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, Am I a dog’s head, which against Judah
do shew kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren,
and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that
thou chargest me to day with a fault concerning this woman?
10-3:39 And I am this
day weak, though anointed king; and these men the sons of Zeruiah be too hard for me: the LORD shall reward the doer of evil according to his
wickedness.
10-7:18 Then went
king David in, and sat before the LORD, and he said, Who am I, O Lord GOD? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me
hitherto?
10-9:8 And he
bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant,
that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
10-11:5 And the
woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.
10-14:5 And the
king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, I am indeed a widow woman, and mine
husband is dead.
10-14:15 Now
therefore that I am come to speak of this thing
unto my lord the king, it is because
the people have made me afraid: and
thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will
perform the request of his handmaid.
10-14:32 And
Absalom answered Joab, Behold, I sent unto thee, saying, Come hither, that I
may send thee to the king, to say, Wherefore am
I come from Geshur? it had been good
for me to have been there still: now therefore let me see the king’s
face; and if there be any iniquity in
me, let him kill me.
10-15:26 But if he
thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as
seemeth good unto him.
10-19:20 For thy
servant doth know that I have sinned:
therefore, behold, I am come the first this day
of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king.
10-19:22 And David
said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day
be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel?
for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel?
10-19:35 I am this
day fourscore years old: and can I discern between good and evil?
can thy servant taste what I eat or what I drink? can I hear any more the voice
of singing men and singing women? wherefore then should thy servant be yet a
burden unto my lord the king?
10-20:17 And when
he was come near unto her, the woman said, Art
thou Joab? And he answered, I am he. Then she said unto him, Hear the words of
thine handmaid. And he answered, I do hear.
10-20:19 I am one of
them that are peaceable and faithful
in Israel: thou seekest to destroy a
city and a mother in Israel: why
wilt thou swallow up the inheritance of the LORD?
10-24:14 And David
said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the
LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of
man.
11-3:7 And now,
O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.
11-8:20 And the
LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I am
risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the
LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
11-13:14 And went
after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou
the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am.
11-13:18 He said
unto him, I am
a prophet also as thou art; and
an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with
thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.
11-13:31 And it
came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When
I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein
the man of God is buried; lay my
bones beside his bones:
11-14:6 And it
was so, when Ahijah heard the sound
of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of
Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be
another? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings.
11-17:12 And she
said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I
have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a
cruse: and, behold, I am gathering
two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat
it, and die.
11-18:8 And he
answered him, I am: go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah
is here.
11-18:12 And it
shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the spirit of the LORD shall
carry thee whither I know not; and so when
I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he shall slay me: but I thy servant fear the LORD from
my youth.
11-18:36 And it
came to pass at the time of the
offering of the evening sacrifice,
that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of
Israel, let it be known this day that thou art
God in Israel, and that I am thy
servant, and that I have done all
these things at thy word.
11-19:4 But he
himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a
juniper tree: and he requested for
himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my
life; for I am
not better than my fathers.
11-19:10 And he
said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown
down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am
left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
11-19:14 And he
said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown
down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am
left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
11-20:4 And the
king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to thy saying, I am thine,
and all that I have.
11-20:13 And, behold,
there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the LORD,
Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine
hand this day; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
11-20:28 And there
came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the
LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the hills, but he is
not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude
into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
11-22:4 And he
said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And
Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art,
my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.
11-22:34 And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and
smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand,
and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
12-2:10 And he
said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken
from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.
12-3:7 And he
went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath
rebelled against me: wilt thou go
with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up: I am
as thou art, my people as thy
people, and my horses as thy horses.
12-5:7 And it
came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes,
and said, Am
I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to
recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he
seeketh a quarrel against me.
12-16:7 So Ahaz sent
messengers to Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand
of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which rise up
against me.
12-18:25 Am I now come up without the LORD against this place
to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.
12-19:23 By thy
messengers thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of
my chariots I am come up to the height of the
mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees
thereof, and the choice fir trees
thereof: and I will enter into the
lodgings of his borders, and into the
forest of his Carmel.
12-21:12 Therefore
thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it,
both his ears shall tingle.
13-17:16 And David
the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me
hitherto?
13-21:13 And David
said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the
LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of
man.
13-29:14 But who am I, and
what is my people, that we should be
able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
14-2:6 But who
is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot
contain him? who am
I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice
before him?
14-2:9 Even to
prepare me timber in abundance: for
the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.
14-6:10 The LORD
therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken: for I am risen up in the room of
David my father, and am set on the throne of
Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD
God of Israel.
14-18:3 And Ahab
king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat king of Judah, Wilt thou go with me to
Ramothgilead? And he answered him, I am as thou art,
and my people as thy people; and we
will be with thee in the war.
14-18:33 And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and
smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou
mayest carry me out of the host; for I am
wounded.
14-35:23 And the
archers shot at king Josiah; and the king said to his servants, Have me away;
for I am sore wounded.
15-9:6 And
said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift
up my face to thee, my God: for our
iniquities are increased over our head,
and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens.
16-6:3 And I
sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I
leave it, and come down to you?
16-6:11 And I
said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is
there, that, being as I am, would
go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.
17-5:12 Haman
said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come in with the king unto
the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to morrow am I invited unto her also with the king.
18-1:15 And the
Sabeans fell upon them, and took them
away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
18-1:16 While he was yet speaking, there came also
another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up
the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
18-1:17 While he was yet speaking, there came also
another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the
camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge
of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to
tell thee.
18-1:19 And,
behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners
of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
18-7:3 So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome
nights are appointed to me.
18-7:4 When I
lie down, I say, When shall I arise, and the night be gone? and I am full of tossings to and fro unto the dawning of the
day.
18-7:8 The eye
of him that hath seen me shall see me no more: thine eyes are upon me, and I am not.
18-7:12 Am I a
sea, or a whale, that thou settest a watch over me?
18-7:20 I have sinned;
what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? why hast thou set me as a
mark against thee, so that I am a burden to
myself?
18-9:20 If I
justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect,
it shall also prove me perverse.
18-9:28 I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt not
hold me innocent.
18-9:32 For he is not a man, as I am, that I
should answer him, and we should come
together in judgment.
18-10:7 Thou
knowest that I am not wicked; and there is none that can deliver out of
thine hand.
18-10:15 If I be wicked,
woe unto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full
of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;
18-11:4 For thou
hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I
am clean in thine eyes.
18-12:3 But I
have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
18-12:4 I am as one
mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.
18-13:2 What ye
know, the same do I know also: I am not inferior unto you.
18-16:6 Though I speak,
my grief is not asswaged: and though I forbear, what am I eased?
18-19:7 Behold, I
cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.
18-19:10 He hath
destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a
tree.
18-19:15 They that
dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.
18-19:20 My bone
cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am
escaped with the skin of my teeth.
18-21:6 Even when
I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh
hold on my flesh.
18-23:15 Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of
him.
18-30:9 And now am I their song, yea, I am
their byword.
18-30:19 He hath
cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust
and ashes.
18-30:29 I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.
18-32:6 And Elihu
the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid,
and durst not shew you mine opinion.
18-32:18 For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth
me.
18-33:6 Behold, I
am according
to thy wish in God’s stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
18-33:9 I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.
18-34:5 For Job
hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.
18-40:4 Behold, I
am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay
mine hand upon my mouth.
19-6:2 Have
mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak:
O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
19-6:6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed
to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
19-13:4 Lest mine
enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and
those that trouble me rejoice when I am
moved.
19-17:3 Thou hast
proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in
the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt
find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
19-22:2 O my God,
I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
19-22:6 But I am a
worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
19-22:14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of
joint: my heart is like wax; it is
melted in the midst of my bowels.
19-25:16 Turn thee
unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
19-28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart
trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him.
19-31:9 Have
mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
19-31:12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am
like a broken vessel.
19-31:22 For I said
in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice
of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
19-35:3 Draw out
also the spear, and stop the way against
them that persecute me: say unto my
soul, I am
thy salvation.
19-37:25 I have
been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken,
nor his seed begging bread.
19-38:6 I am troubled; I am bowed
down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
19-38:8 I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.
19-38:17 For I am ready to
halt, and my sorrow is continually
before me.
19-39:4 LORD,
make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.
19-39:10 Remove thy
stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand.
19-39:12 Hear my
prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.
19-40:12 For
innumerable evils have compassed me about:
mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am
not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
19-40:17 But I am poor
and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon
me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
19-46:10 Be still, and
know that I am
God: I will be exalted among the
heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
19-50:7 Hear, O
my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even
thy God.
19-52:8 But I am like a
green olive tree in the house of God:
I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
19-56:3 What time
I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
19-69:2 I sink in
deep mire, where there is no standing: I am
come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
19-69:3 I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried:
mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
19-69:8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien
unto my mother’s children.
19-69:17 And hide not
thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.
19-69:20 Reproach
hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there
was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
19-69:29 But I am poor
and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O
God, set me up on high.
19-70:5 But I am poor
and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
19-71:7 I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.
19-71:18 Now also
when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me
not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this
generation, and thy power to
every one that is to come.
19-73:23 Nevertheless
I am continually
with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
19-77:4 Thou
holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
19-81:10 I am the
LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
19-86:1 Bow down
thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor
and needy.
19-86:2 Preserve
my soul; for I am
holy: O thou my God, save thy
servant that trusteth in thee.
19-88:4 I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am
as a man that hath no strength:
19-88:8 Thou hast
put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto
them: I am shut up, and I cannot come
forth.
19-88:15 I am afflicted
and ready to die from my youth up: while
I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.
19-102:2 Hide not
thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.
19-102:6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am
like an owl of the desert.
19-102:7 I watch,
and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.
19-102:11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.
19-109:22 For I am poor
and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
19-109:23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am
tossed up and down as the locust.
19-116:16 O LORD,
truly I am
thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid:
thou hast loosed my bonds.
19-119:19 I am a
stranger in the earth: hide not thy
commandments from me.
19-119:63 I am a
companion of all them that fear thee,
and of them that keep thy precepts.
19-119:83 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.
19-119:94 I am thine,
save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
19-119:107 I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.
19-119:120 My flesh
trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of
thy judgments.
19-119:125 I am thy
servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
19-119:141 I am small
and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.
19-120:7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
19-139:14 I will
praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy
works; and that my soul knoweth right
well.
19-139:18 If I should count them, they are more in
number than the sand: when I awake,
I am still with thee.
19-139:21 Do not I
hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I
grieved with those that rise up against thee?
19-142:6 Attend
unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for
they are stronger than I.
19-143:12 And of thy
mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.
20-8:14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
20-20:9 Who can
say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from
my sin?
20-26:19 So is the man that deceiveth his neighbour, and saith, Am
not I in sport?
20-30:2 Surely I am more
brutish than any man, and have not
the understanding of a man.
21-1:16 I
communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am
come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge.
22-1:5 I am black, but comely, O ye daughters
of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.
22-1:6 Look not upon me, because I am black,
because the sun hath looked upon me:
my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the
vineyards; but mine own vineyard have
I not kept.
22-2:1 I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.
22-2:5 Stay me with flagons, comfort me
with apples: for I am sick
of love.
22-2:16 My beloved is mine, and I am his:
he feedeth among the lilies.
22-5:1 I am
come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice;
I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink
abundantly, O beloved.
22-5:8 I charge you, O daughters of
Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am sick of love.
22-6:3 I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies.
22-7:10 I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.
22-8:10 I am a wall, and my breasts like
towers: then was I in his eyes as
one that found favour.
23-1:11 To what
purpose is the multitude of your
sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD:
I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and
the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs,
or of he goats.
23-1:14 Your new
moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am
weary to bear them.
23-6:5 Then
said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell
in the midst of a people of unclean lips:
for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
23-6:8 Also I
heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?
Then said I, Here am I; send me.
23-10:13 For he
saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am
prudent: and I have removed the bounds
of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the
inhabitants like a valiant man:
23-19:11 Surely the
princes of Zoan are fools, the
counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the
son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?
23-21:8 And he
cried, A lion: My lord, I stand
continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am
set in my ward whole nights:
23-29:12 And the
book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
23-33:24 And the inhabitant
shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall
be forgiven their iniquity.
23-36:10 And am I now come up without the LORD against this land to
destroy it? the LORD said unto me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.
23-37:24 By thy
servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my
chariots am I come up to the height of the
mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars
thereof, and the choice fir trees
thereof: and I will enter into the
height of his border, and the forest
of his Carmel.
23-38:10 I said in
the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am
deprived of the residue of my years.
23-38:14 Like a
crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail with looking upward: O
LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.
23-41:4 Who hath
wrought and done it, calling the
generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.
23-41:10 Fear thou
not; for I am
with thee: be not dismayed; for
I am thy
God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I
will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my
righteousness.
23-42:8 I am the
LORD: that is my name: and my glory
will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
23-43:3 For I am the
LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy
ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
23-43:5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the
west;
23-43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my
servant whom I have chosen: that ye may
know and believe me, and understand that I am he:
before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
23-43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
23-43:12 I have
declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among
you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I
am God.
23-43:13 Yea,
before the day was I am he;
and there is none that can deliver
out of my hand: I will work, and who
shall let it?
23-43:15 I am the
LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
23-43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy
transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
23-44:5 One shall
say, I am the
Lord’s; and another shall call himself by
the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
23-44:6 Thus
saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the
first, and I am
the last; and beside me there is no
God.
23-44:16 He burneth
part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast,
and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
23-44:24 Thus saith
the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the
LORD that maketh all things; that
stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
23-45:3 And I
will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places,
that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
23-45:5 I am the
LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not
known me:
23-45:6 That they
may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the
LORD, and there is none else.
23-45:18 For thus
saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and
made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be
inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
23-45:22 Look unto
me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there
is none else.
23-46:4 And even to your old age I am he; and even
to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you.
23-46:9 Remember
the former things of old: for I am God,
and there is none else; I am God,
and there is none like me,
23-47:8 Therefore
hear now this, thou that art given to
pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and
none else beside me; I shall not sit as a
widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
23-47:10 For thou
hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou
hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee;
and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.
23-48:12 Hearken
unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
23-48:16 Come ye near
unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the
time that it was, there am I:
and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
23-48:17 Thus saith
the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth
thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
23-49:21 Then shalt
thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my
children, and am desolate, a captive, and
removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone;
these, where had they been?
23-49:23 And kings
shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up
the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.
23-49:26 And I will
feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken
with their own blood, as with sweet wine:
and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of
Jacob.
23-51:12 I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
23-51:15 But I am the
LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his
name.
23-52:6 Therefore
my people shall know my name:
therefore they shall know in that day
that I am he
that doth speak: behold, it is I.
23-56:3 Neither
let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak,
saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
23-58:9 Then
shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say,
Here I am.
If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the
finger, and speaking vanity;
23-60:16 Thou shalt
also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy
Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
23-65:1 I am sought of them
that asked not for me; I am found of them
that sought me not: I said,
Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was
not called by my name.
23-65:5 Which
say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am
holier than thou. These are a smoke
in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
24-1:6 Then
said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
24-1:7 But the
LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child:
for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee
thou shalt speak.
24-1:8 Be not
afraid of their faces: for I am with
thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
24-1:19 And they
shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with
thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.
24-2:23 How canst
thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone
after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou
art a swift dromedary traversing her ways;
24-2:35 Yet thou
sayest, Because I am innocent, surely his anger
shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have
not sinned.
24-3:12 Go and
proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding
Israel, saith the LORD; and I will
not cause mine anger to fall upon you:
for I am merciful,
saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.
24-3:14 Turn, O
backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am
married unto you: and I will take
you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
24-4:19 My
bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart;
my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard,
O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.
24-6:11 Therefore
I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the
assembly of young men together: for
even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.
24-8:21 For the
hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me.
24-9:24 But let
him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the
LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
24-15:6 Thou hast
forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy
thee; I am weary with repenting.
24-15:16 Thy words
were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing
of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
24-15:20 And I will
make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail
against thee: for I am with
thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
24-20:7 O LORD,
thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived:
thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one
mocketh me.
24-21:13 Behold, I am against
thee, O inhabitant of the valley, and rock
of the plain, saith the LORD; which say, Who shall come down against us? or who
shall enter into our habitations?
24-23:9 Mine
heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath
overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.
24-23:23 Am I a
God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
24-23:30 Therefore,
behold, I am
against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from
his neighbour.
24-23:31 Behold, I am against
the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
24-23:32 Behold, I am against
them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my
people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor
commanded them: therefore they shall
not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
24-24:7 And I will
give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD:
and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
24-26:14 As for me,
behold, I am
in your hand: do with me as
seemeth good and meet unto you.
24-29:23 Because
they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours’
wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them;
even I know, and am
a witness, saith the LORD.
24-30:11 For I am with
thee, saith the LORD, to save thee:
though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will
I not make a full end of thee: but I
will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
24-31:9 They
shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the
rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am
a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my
firstborn.
24-32:27 Behold, I am the
LORD, the God of all flesh: is there
any thing too hard for me?
24-36:5 And
Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I cannot go into the house of the LORD:
24-38:19 And
Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am
afraid of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into
their hand, and they mock me.
24-42:11 Be not afraid
of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the
LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to
deliver you from his hand.
24-46:28 Fear thou
not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD:
for I am with
thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of
thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.
24-50:31 Behold, I am against
thee, O thou most proud, saith the
Lord GOD of hosts: for thy day is
come, the time that I will visit
thee.
24-51:25 Behold, I am against
thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon
thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.
25-1:11 All her people
sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to
relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and
consider; for I am become vile.
25-1:14 The yoke
of my transgressions is bound by his hand:
they are wreathed, and come up upon
my neck: he hath made my strength to
fall, the Lord hath delivered me into their
hands, from whom I am not able to rise up.
25-1:20 Behold, O
LORD; for I am
in distress: my bowels are
troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is as death.
25-3:1 I am the
man that hath seen affliction by the
rod of his wrath.
25-3:54 Waters
flowed over mine head; then I said, I
am cut off.
25-3:63 Behold
their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their musick.
26-5:8 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the
midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
26-6:7 And the
slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-6:9 And they
that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be
carried captives, because I am broken with their
whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a
whoring after their idols: and they
shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their
abominations.
26-6:10 And they
shall know that I am the LORD, and that I
have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
26-6:13 Then
shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every
high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and
under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their
idols.
26-6:14 So will I
stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate
than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-7:4 And mine
eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations
shall be in the midst of thee: and
ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-7:9 And mine
eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine
abominations that are in the midst of
thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.
26-7:27 The king
shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of
the people of the land shall be troubled:
I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I
judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-11:10 Ye shall
fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know
that I am the
LORD.
26-11:12 And ye
shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have
not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after
the manners of the heathen that are round
about you.
26-12:11 Say, I am your
sign: like as I have done, so shall
it be done unto them: they shall
remove and go into captivity.
26-12:15 And they
shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall scatter them among the nations, and
disperse them in the countries.
26-12:16 But I will
leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the
pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen
whither they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-12:20 And the
cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate;
and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-12:25 For I am the
LORD: I will speak, and the word
that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house,
will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:8 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies,
therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:9 And mine
hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of
my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel,
neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the
Lord GOD.
26-13:14 So will I
break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation
thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the
midst thereof: and ye shall know
that I am the
LORD.
26-13:20 Wherefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt
the souls to make them fly, and I
will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
26-13:21 Your
kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they
shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-13:23 Therefore
ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-14:8 And I will
set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I
will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-15:7 And I will
set my face against them; they shall go out from one fire, and another fire
shall devour them; and ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I set my face against them.
26-16:62 And I will
establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the
LORD:
26-16:63 That thou
mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because
of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for
all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.
26-20:5 And say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted
up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto
them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the
LORD your God;
26-20:7 Then said
I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile
not yourselves with the idols of Egypt:
I am the
LORD your God.
26-20:12 Moreover
also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might
know that I am
the LORD that sanctify them.
26-20:19 I am the
LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;
26-20:20 And hallow
my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that
I am the
LORD your God.
26-20:26 And I
polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that
I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the
LORD.
26-20:38 And I will
purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the
country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-20:42 And ye
shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel,
into the country for the which I
lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers.
26-20:44 And ye
shall know that I am the LORD, when I have wrought with you for my name’s sake,
not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye
house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
26-21:3 And say
to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth
my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the
wicked.
26-22:16 And thou
shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and thou
shalt know that I am the LORD.
26-22:26 Her priests
have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither
have they shewed difference between
the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
26-23:49 And they
shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your
idols: and ye shall know that I am the
Lord GOD.
26-24:24 Thus Ezekiel
is unto you a sign: according to all
that he hath done shall ye do: and
when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
26-24:27 In that
day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak,
and be no more dumb: and thou shalt
be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-25:5 And I
will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couchingplace for
flocks: and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-25:7 Behold,
therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a
spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause
thee to perish out of the countries:
I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
26-25:11 And I will
execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-25:17 And I will
execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know
that I am the
LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
26-26:3 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many
nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.
26-26:6 And her
daughters which are in the field shall
be slain by the sword; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-27:3 And say
unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for
many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of
perfect beauty.
26-28:2 Son of
man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart
is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God,
I sit in the seat of God, in the
midst of the seas; yet thou art a
man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
26-28:9 Wilt thou
yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
26-28:22 And say,
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified
in the midst of thee: and they shall
know that I am
the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be
sanctified in her.
26-28:23 For I will
send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged
in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know
that I am the
LORD.
26-28:24 And there
shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised
them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
26-28:26 And they
shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea,
they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those
that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the
LORD their God.
26-29:3 Speak,
and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great
dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.
26-29:6 And all
the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of
reed to the house of Israel.
26-29:9 And the
land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the
LORD: because he hath said, The
river is mine, and I have made it.
26-29:10 Behold,
therefore I am
against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt
utterly waste and desolate, from the
tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.
26-29:16 And it
shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they
shall look after them: but they
shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
26-29:21 In that
day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give
thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-30:8 And they
shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.
26-30:19 Thus will
I execute judgments in Egypt: and
they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-30:22 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break
his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to
fall out of his hand.
26-30:25 But I will
strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall
down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand
of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
26-30:26 And I will
scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries;
and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-32:15 When I
shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of
that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then
shall they know that I am the LORD.
26-33:29 Then shall
they know that I am
the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their
abominations which they have committed.
26-34:10 Thus saith
the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my
flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither
shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from
their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
26-34:27 And the
tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her
increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the
LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the
hand of those that served themselves of them.
26-34:30 Thus shall
they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house
of Israel, are my people, saith the
Lord GOD.
26-34:31 And ye my
flock, the flock of my pasture, are men,
and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD.
26-35:3 And say
unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch
out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
26-35:4 I will
lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the
LORD.
26-35:9 I will
make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-35:12 And thou
shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I
have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of
Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.
26-35:15 As thou
didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was
desolate, so will I do unto thee:
thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they
shall know that I am the LORD.
26-36:9 For, behold,
I am for
you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:
26-36:11 And I will
multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old
estates, and will do better unto you than
at your beginnings: and ye shall
know that I am
the LORD.
26-36:23 And I will
sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have
profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the
LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
26-36:38 As the holy
flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste
cities be filled with flocks of men:
and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-37:6 And I
will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with
skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-37:13 And ye
shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and
brought you up out of your graves,
26-38:3 And say,
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of
Meshech and Tubal:
26-38:23 Thus will
I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many
nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-39:1 Therefore,
thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, I am
against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
26-39:6 And I
will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-39:7 So will I
make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the
LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
26-39:22 So the
house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.
26-39:27 When I have
brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’
lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of
many nations;
26-39:28 Then shall
they know that I am
the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the
heathen: but I have gathered them
unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
26-44:28 And it
shall be unto them for an inheritance:
I am their
inheritance: and ye shall give them
no possession in Israel: I am their
possession.
27-9:22 And he
informed me, and talked with me, and
said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee
skill and understanding.
27-9:23 At the
beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee;
for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and
consider the vision.
27-10:11 And he
said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I
speak unto thee, and stand upright:
for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had
spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
27-10:12 Then said
he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for
from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to
chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
27-10:14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy
people in the latter days: for yet
the vision is for many days.
27-10:20 Then said
he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight
with the prince of Persia: and when
I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall
come.
28-2:2 Plead
with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her
husband: let her therefore put away
her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts;
28-11:9 I will
not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in
the midst of thee: and I will not
enter into the city.
28-12:8 And
Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found
me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none
iniquity in me that were sin.
28-12:9 And I that am the
LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles,
as in the days of the solemn feast.
28-13:4 Yet I am the
LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
28-14:8 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with
idols? I have heard him, and observed
him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is
thy fruit found.
29-2:27 And ye
shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
29-3:10 Beat your
plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
29-3:17 So shall
ye know that I am
the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass
through her any more.
30-2:13 Behold, I
am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.
32-1:9 And he
said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which
hath made the sea and the dry land.
32-2:4 Then I said,
I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look
again toward thy holy temple.
33-3:8 But
truly I am full of power by the spirit of the
LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression,
and to Israel his sin.
33-7:1 Woe is
me! for I am as when they have gathered the
summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to
eat: my soul desired the firstripe
fruit.
34-2:13 Behold, I
am against
thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and
the sword shall devour thy young lions:
and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers
shall no more be heard.
34-3:5 Behold,
I am against
thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face,
and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.
35-2:1 I will
stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he
will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am
reproved.
36-2:15 This is the rejoicing city that dwelt
carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there
is none beside me: how is she
become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one that passeth
by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.
37-1:13 Then
spake Haggai the LORD’S messenger in the LORD’S message unto the people,
saying, I am
with you, saith the LORD.
37-2:4 Yet now
be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of
Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the
LORD, and work: for I am with
you, saith the LORD of hosts:
38-1:14 So the
angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD
of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for
Zion with a great jealousy.
38-1:15 And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the
affliction.
38-1:16 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem
with mercies: my house shall be
built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon
Jerusalem.
38-8:3 Thus
saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and
will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem:
and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of
hosts the holy mountain.
38-10:6 And I will
strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will
bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear
them.
38-11:5 Whose
possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them
not.
38-13:5 But he
shall say, I am
no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my
youth.
39-1:14 But
cursed be the deceiver, which hath in
his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of
hosts, and my name is dreadful among
the heathen.
39-3:6 For I am the
LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
40-3:11 I indeed
baptize you with water unto repentance:
but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
40-3:17 And lo a
voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
40-5:17 Think not
that I am come to destroy the law, or the
prophets: I am
not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
40-8:8 The
centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not
worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
40-8:9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another,
Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
40-9:13 But go ye
and learn what that meaneth, I will
have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I
am not come to call the righteous, but sinners
to repentance.
40-9:28 And when
he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
40-10:34 Think not
that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a
sword.
40-10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father,
and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother
in law.
40-11:29 Take my
yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek
and lowly in heart: and ye shall
find rest unto your souls.
40-15:24 But he
answered and said, I am not sent but unto the
lost sheep of the house of Israel.
40-16:13 When Jesus
came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom
do men say that I the Son of man am?
40-16:15 He saith
unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
40-17:5 While he
yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my
beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye
him.
40-18:20 For where
two or three are gathered together in my name, there am
I in the midst of them.
40-20:15 Is it not
lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
40-20:22 But Jesus
answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup
that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
40-20:23 And he
saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the
baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my
left, is not mine to give, but it shall
be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
40-22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God
of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
40-24:5 For many
shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and
shall deceive many.
40-26:32 But after
I am risen again, I will go before you into
Galilee.
40-26:61 And said,
This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it
in three days.
40-27:24 When Pilate
saw that he could prevail nothing, but that
rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am
innocent of the blood of this just person:
see ye to it.
40-27:43 He trusted
in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
40-28:20 Teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
41-1:7 And
preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of
whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and
unloose.
41-1:11 And there
came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou
art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
41-8:27 And Jesus
went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his
disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?
41-8:29 And he
saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And
Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.
41-10:38 But Jesus
said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask:
can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that
I am baptized with?
41-10:39 And they said
unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup
that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am
baptized withal shall ye be baptized:
41-12:26 And as
touching the dead, that they rise:
have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him,
saying, I am
the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
41-13:6 For many
shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
41-14:28 But after
that I am risen, I will go before you into
Galilee.
41-14:62 And Jesus
said, I am:
and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming
in the clouds of heaven.
42-1:18 And
Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.
42-1:19 And the
angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel,
that stand in the presence of God; and am sent
to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
42-3:16 John answered,
saying unto them all, I indeed
baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose
shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy
Ghost and with fire:
42-3:22 And the
Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came
from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
42-4:43 And he
said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
42-5:8 When
Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at
Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a
sinful man, O Lord.
42-7:6 Then
Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion
sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am
not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:
42-7:8 For I
also am a man set under authority, having under
me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he
cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
42-9:18 And it
came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say
the people that I am?
42-9:20 He said
unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter
answering said, The Christ of God.
42-12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if
it be already kindled?
42-12:50 But I have
a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I
straitened till it be accomplished!
42-12:51 Suppose ye
that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell
you, Nay; but rather division:
42-15:19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
42-15:21 And the
son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
42-16:3 Then the steward
said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the
stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
42-16:4 I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me
into their houses.
42-16:24 And he
cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may
dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
42-18:11 The
Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
42-21:8 And he
said, Take heed that ye be not deceived:
for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
42-22:27 For
whether is greater, he that sitteth at
meat, or he that serveth? is not he
that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he
that serveth.
42-22:33 And he
said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee,
both into prison, and to death.
42-22:58 And after
a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter
said, Man, I am not.
42-22:70 Then said they
all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.
43-1:20 And he
confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am
not the Christ.
43-1:21 And they
asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am
not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.
43-1:23 He said,
I am the
voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said
the prophet Esaias.
43-1:27 He it is,
who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose.
43-1:31 And I
knew him not: but that he should be
made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come
baptizing with water.
43-3:28 Ye
yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am
not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
43-4:9 Then
saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest
drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for
the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
43-4:26 Jesus
saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
43-5:7 The
impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to
put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
43-5:43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own
name, him ye will receive.
43-6:35 And Jesus
said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never
hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
43-6:41 The Jews
then murmured at him, because he said, I am the
bread which came down from heaven.
43-6:48 I am that bread of life.
43-6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he
shall live for ever: and the bread
that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
43-7:28 Then
cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know
whence I am:
and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me
is true, whom ye know not.
43-7:29 But I
know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.
43-7:33 Then said
Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with
you, and then I go unto him that sent
me.
43-7:34 Ye shall
seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye
cannot come.
43-7:36 What manner of saying is this that he said,
Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye
cannot come?
43-8:12 Then
spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the
light of the world: he that
followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
43-8:16 And yet
if I judge, my judgment is true: for
I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent
me.
43-8:18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father
that sent me beareth witness of me.
43-8:23 And he
said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from
above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
43-8:24 I said
therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
43-8:28 Then said
Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that
I am he, and
that I do nothing of myself; but as
my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
43-8:58 Jesus
said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
43-9:5 As long
as I am in the world, I am
the light of the world.
43-9:9 Some
said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.
43-9:39 And Jesus
said, For judgment I am come into this world,
that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
43-10:7 Then said
Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
43-10:9 I am the door:
by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find
pasture.
43-10:10 The thief
cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have
life, and that they might have it more
abundantly.
43-10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
43-10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
43-10:36 Say ye of him,
whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest;
because I said, I am the Son of God?
43-11:15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the
intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
43-11:25 Jesus said
unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he
were dead, yet shall he live:
43-12:26 If any man
serve me, let him follow me; and where I am,
there shall also my servant be: if
any man serve me, him will my Father
honour.
43-12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever
believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
43-13:13 Ye call me
Master and Lord: and ye say well;
for so I am.
43-13:19 Now I tell
you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.
43-13:33 Little
children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye
shall seek me: and as I said unto
the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
43-14:3 And if I
go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also.
43-14:6 Jesus
saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the
life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me.
43-14:10 Believest
thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father
in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me,
he doeth the works.
43-14:11 Believe me
that I am in
the Father, and the Father in me: or
else believe me for the very works’ sake.
43-14:20 At that
day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
43-15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
43-15:5 I am the vine, ye are
the branches: He that abideth in
me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
43-16:28 I came
forth from the Father, and am come into the
world: again, I leave the world, and
go to the Father.
43-16:32 Behold,
the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his
own, and shall leave me alone: and
yet I am not alone, because the Father is with
me.
43-17:10 And all
mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified
in them.
43-17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world,
and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou
hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
43-17:14 I have
given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the
world, even as I am not of the world.
43-17:16 They are
not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
43-17:24 Father, I
will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast
given me: for thou lovedst me before
the foundation of the world.
43-18:5 They
answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And
Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
43-18:6 As soon
then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the
ground.
43-18:8 Jesus
answered, I have told you that I am he:
if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:
43-18:17 Then saith
the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man’s disciples? He saith, I
am not.
43-18:25 And Simon
Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also
one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am
not.
43-18:35 Pilate
answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the
chief priests have delivered thee unto me:
what hast thou done?
43-18:37 Pilate
therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that
I am a king. To this end was I born, and for
this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth.
Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
43-19:21 Then said
the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but
that he said, I am King of the Jews.
43-20:17 Jesus
saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet
ascended to my Father: but go to my
brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
44-7:32 Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God
of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled,
and durst not behold.
44-7:34 I have
seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have
heard their groaning, and am come down to
deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.
44-9:5 And he
said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am
Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the
pricks.
44-9:10 And there
was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in
a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
44-10:21 Then Peter
went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold,
I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause
wherefore ye are come?
44-10:26 But Peter took
him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a
man.
44-13:25 And as
John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after
me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.
44-18:6 And when
they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean:
from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.
44-18:10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt
thee: for I have much people in this
city.
44-20:26 Wherefore
I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
44-21:13 Then Paul
answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at
Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
44-21:39 But Paul
said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean
city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me
to speak unto the people.
44-22:3 I am verily a man which
am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in
this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught
according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous
toward God, as ye all are this day.
44-22:8 And I
answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am
Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.
44-23:6 But when
Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he
cried out in the council, Men and brethren,
I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the
dead I am called in question.
44-24:21 Except it
be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the
resurrection of the dead I am called in question
by you this day.
44-26:2 I think
myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee
touching all the things whereof I am accused of
the Jews:
44-26:6 And now I
stand and am judged for the hope of the promise
made of God unto our fathers:
44-26:7 Unto
which promise our twelve tribes,
instantly serving God day and night,
hope to come. For which hope’s sake, king Agrippa, I am
accused of the Jews.
44-26:15 And I
said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am
Jesus whom thou persecutest.
44-26:25 But he
said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak
forth the words of truth and soberness.
44-26:26 For the
king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am
persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not
done in a corner.
44-26:29 And Paul
said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day,
were both almost, and altogether such as I am,
except these bonds.
44-27:23 For there
stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am,
and whom I serve,
44-28:20 For this
cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of
Israel I am bound with this chain.
45-1:14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians;
both to the wise, and to the unwise.
45-1:15 So, as
much as in me is, I am ready to preach the
gospel to you that are at Rome also.
45-1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
45-3:7 For if
the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
45-7:14 For we
know that the law is spiritual: but
I am carnal, sold under sin.
45-7:24 O
wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from
the body of this death?
45-8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor
angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
45-11:1 I say
then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
45-11:3 Lord,
they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
45-11:13 For I
speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the
apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
45-14:14 I know,
and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing
to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
45-15:14 And I
myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that
ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish
one another.
45-15:29 And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in
the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
45-16:19 For your
obedience is come abroad unto all men. I
am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto
that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
46-1:12 Now this
I say, that every one of you saith, I am of
Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
46-3:4 For
while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of
Apollos; are ye not carnal?
46-4:4 For I
know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby
justified: but he that judgeth me is
the Lord.
46-9:1 Am I not an apostle? am
I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the
Lord?
46-9:2 If I be
not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am
to you: for the seal of mine
apostleship are ye in the Lord.
46-9:22 To the
weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save
some.
46-10:30 For if I
by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of
for that for which I give thanks?
46-11:1 Be ye
followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
46-12:15 If the
foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
46-12:16 And if the
ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
46-13:1 Though I
speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding
brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
46-13:2 And
though I have the gift of prophecy,
and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith,
so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
46-13:12 For now we
see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
46-15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I
persecuted the church of God.
46-15:10 But by the
grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain;
but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
46-16:17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and
Achaicus: for that which was lacking
on your part they have supplied.
47-7:4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you,
great is my glorying of you: I am
filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in
all our tribulation.
47-7:14 For if I
have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not
ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting,
which I made before Titus, is found a
truth.
47-10:1 Now I Paul
myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base
among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
47-10:2 But I
beseech you, that I may not be bold
when I am present with that confidence,
wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked
according to the flesh.
47-11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one
husband, that I may present you as a
chaste virgin to Christ.
47-11:21 I speak as
concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is
bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.
47-11:22 Are they
Hebrews? so am
I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.
47-11:23 Are they
ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes
above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
47-11:29 Who is
weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I
burn not?
47-12:10 Therefore
I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions,
in distresses for Christ’s sake: for
when I am weak, then am
I strong.
47-12:11 I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of
you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be
nothing.
47-12:14 Behold,
the third time I am ready to come to you; and I
will not be burdensome to you: for I
seek not yours, but you: for the
children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
47-13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the
mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
48-2:19 For I
through the law am dead to the law, that I might
live unto God.
48-2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the
flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for
me.
48-4:11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour
in vain.
48-4:12 Brethren,
I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.
48-4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you
the truth?
48-4:18 But it is good to be zealously affected
always in a good thing, and not only when I am present
with you.
49-3:8 Unto me,
who am less than the least of all saints, is
this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable
riches of Christ;
49-6:20 For which
I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
50-1:17 But the
other of love, knowing that I am set for the
defence of the gospel.
50-1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart,
and to be with Christ; which is far better:
50-3:12 Not as
though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I
am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
50-4:11 Not that
I speak in respect of want: for I
have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
50-4:12 I know
both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am
instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
50-4:18 But I
have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet
smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
51-1:23 If ye
continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard,
and which was preached to every
creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am
made a minister;
51-1:25 Whereof I
am made a minister, according to the dispensation
of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
51-2:5 For
though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with
you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your
faith in Christ.
51-4:3 Withal
praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak
the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in
bonds:
54-1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all
acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
54-2:7 Whereunto
I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I
speak the truth in Christ, and lie
not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
55-1:5 When I
call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in
thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am
persuaded that in thee also.
55-1:11 Whereunto
I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a
teacher of the Gentiles.
55-1:12 For the
which cause I also suffer these things:
nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have
committed unto him against that day.
55-4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my
departure is at hand.
59-1:13 Let no
man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil,
neither tempteth he any man:
60-1:16 Because
it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
60-5:1 The
elders which are among you I exhort, who am also
an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the
glory that shall be revealed:
61-1:13 Yea, I
think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle,
to stir you up by putting you in
remembrance;
61-1:17 For he
received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him
from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
66-1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending,
saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
66-1:9 I John,
who also am your brother, and companion in
tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle
that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus
Christ.
66-1:11 Saying, I
am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a
book, and send it unto the seven
churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos,
and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
66-1:17 And when
I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me,
saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the
last:
66-1:18 I am he
that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am
alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
66-2:23 And I
will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you
according to your works.
66-3:17 Because thou
sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and
have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable,
and poor, and blind, and naked:
66-3:21 To him
that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also
overcame, and am set down with my Father in his
throne.
66-18:7 How much
she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow
give her: for she saith in her
heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall
see no sorrow.
66-19:10 And I fell
at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have
the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the
spirit of prophecy.
66-21:6 And he
said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain
of the water of life freely.
66-22:9 Then
saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am
thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the
sayings of this book: worship God.
66-22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the
first and the last.
66-22:16 I Jesus
have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
