01-GENESIS
01-1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters
which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
01-1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly
the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
01-3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou
hast done this, thou art cursed above all
cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon
thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
01-6:16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit
shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the
ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories
shalt thou make it.
01-7:17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the
waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
01-27:39 And Isaac his father answered and said unto him,
Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of
heaven from above;
01-28:13 And, behold, the LORD stood above
it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of
Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy
seed;
01-48:22 Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of
the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.
01-49:25 Even by the
God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless
thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings
of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
01-49:26 The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost
bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and
on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
02-18:11 Now I know that the LORD is greater than all
gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.
02-19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and
keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
02-20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any
likeness of any thing that is in heaven above,
or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under
the earth:
02-25:21 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the
testimony that I shall give thee.
02-25:22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune
with thee from above the mercy seat, from
between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of
all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of
Israel.
02-26:14 And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams’
skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers’
skins.
02-26:24 And they shall be coupled together beneath, and they
shall be coupled together above the head of it
unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two
corners.
02-28:27 And two other rings of gold thou shalt make,
and shalt put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the
forepart thereof, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
02-28:28 And they shall bind the breastplate by the rings
thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the
breastplate be not loosed from the ephod.
02-29:13 And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards,
and the caul that is above the liver, and
the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon
the altar.
02-29:22 Also thou shalt take of the ram the fat and the rump,
and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul above
the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and
the right shoulder; for it is a ram of consecration:
02-30:14 Every one that passeth among them that are numbered,
from twenty years old and above, shall give an
offering unto the LORD.
02-36:19 And he made a covering for the tent of rams’
skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers’ skins above that.
02-39:20 And they made two other golden rings, and put
them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over
against the other coupling thereof, above
the curious girdle of the ephod.
02-39:21 And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto
the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate
might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.
02-40:19 And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and
put the covering of the tent above upon it; as
the LORD commanded Moses.
02-40:20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and
set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above
upon the ark:
03-3:4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on
them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above
the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.
03-3:10 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon
them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above
the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.
03-3:15 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon
them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above
the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.
03-4:9 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon
them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above
the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,
03-7:4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on
them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take
away:
03-8:16 And he took all the fat that was upon the
inwards, and the caul above the liver, and
the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it upon the altar.
03-8:25 And he took the fat, and the rump, and all the fat
that was upon the inwards, and the caul above
the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder:
03-9:10 But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the
altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.
03-9:19 And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump,
and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver:
03-11:21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing
that goeth upon all four, which have legs above
their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
03-27:7 And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation
shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
04-3:49 And Moses took the redemption money of them that were
over and above them that were redeemed by the
Levites:
04-4:25 And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle,
and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the
badgers’ skins that is above upon it, and
the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
04-12:3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of
the earth.)
04-16:3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses
and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing
all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among
them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above
the congregation of the LORD?
05-4:39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in
thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above,
and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
05-5:8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or
any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that
is in the waters beneath the earth:
05-7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy
God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto
himself, above all people that are upon
the face of the earth.
05-7:14 Thou shalt be blessed above
all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among
your cattle.
05-10:15 Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love
them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
05-14:2 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God,
and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
05-17:20 That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from
the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the
end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children,
in the midst of Israel.
05-25:3 Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed:
lest, if he should exceed, and beat him above
these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee.
05-26:19 And to make thee high above
all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that
thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.
05-28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken
diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all
his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set
thee on high above all nations of the earth:
05-28:13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the
tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou
shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD
thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
05-28:43 The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very
low.
05-30:5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land
which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee
good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
06-2:11 And as soon as we had heard these things, our
hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because
of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.
06-3:13 And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the
feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth,
shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be
cut off from the waters that come down from above;
and they shall stand upon an heap.
06-3:16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far
from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came
down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were
cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.
07-5:24 Blessed above women
shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.
09-2:29 Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine
offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy
sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the
chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?
10-22:17 He sent from above, he
took me; he drew me out of many waters;
10-22:49 And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies:
thou also hast lifted me up on high above them
that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
11-7:3 And it was covered with cedar above upon the beams, that lay on forty five
pillars, fifteen in a row.
11-7:11 And above were costly
stones, after the measures of hewed stones, and cedars.
11-7:20 And the chapiters upon the two pillars had
pomegranates also above, over against the
belly which was by the network: and the pomegranates were two
hundred in rows round about upon the other chapiter.
11-7:25 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the
north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south,
and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
11-7:29 And on the borders that were between the ledges
were lions, oxen, and cherubims: and upon the ledges there was
a base above: and beneath the lions
and oxen were certain additions made of thin work.
11-7:31 And the mouth of it within the chapiter and above was a cubit: but the mouth thereof
was round after the work of the base, a cubit and an half:
and also upon the mouth of it were gravings with their borders, foursquare,
not round.
11-8:7 For the cherubims spread forth their two wings
over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves
thereof above.
11-8:23 And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no
God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth
beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee
with all their heart:
11-14:9 But hast done evil above
all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other gods,
and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:
11-14:22 And Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD, and they
provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done.
11-16:30 And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the
LORD above all that were before him.
12-21:11 Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these
abominations, and hath done wickedly above
all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah
also to sin with his idols:
12-25:28 And he spake kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with
him in Babylon;
13-5:2 For Judah prevailed above
his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was
Joseph’s:)
13-16:25 For great is the LORD, and greatly to be
praised: he also is to be feared above
all gods.
13-23:27 For by the last words of David the Levites were numbered
from twenty years old and above:
13-27:6 This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among
the thirty, and above the thirty: and
in his course was Ammizabad his son.
13-29:3 Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house
of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I
have given to the house of my God, over and above
all that I have prepared for the holy house,
13-29:11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power,
and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in
the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O
LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
14-2:5 And the house which I build is great:
for great is our God above all gods.
14-4:4 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north,
and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and
three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
14-5:8 For the cherubims spread forth their wings over
the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
14-11:21 And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines: (for he
took eighteen wives, and threescore concubines; and begat twenty and eight
sons, and threescore daughters.)
14-24:20 And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of
Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the
people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments
of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath
also forsaken you.
14-25:5 Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made
them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the
houses of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and
he numbered them from twenty years old and above,
and found them three hundred thousand choice men, able to go forth to
war, that could handle spear and shield.
14-34:4 And they brake down the altars of Baalim in his
presence; and the images, that were on high above
them, he cut down; and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten
images, he brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and strowed it upon
the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them.
16-3:28 From above the horse
gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.
16-7:2 That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler
of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man,
and feared God above many.
16-8:5 And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the
people; (for he was above all the people;) and
when he opened it, all the people stood up:
16-9:5 Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani,
Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, Stand up
and bless the LORD your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy
glorious name, which is exalted above all
blessing and praise.
16-12:37 And at the fountain gate, which was over against them,
they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate
eastward.
16-12:39 And from above the gate
of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and
the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the
prison gate.
17-2:17 And the king loved Esther above
all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the
virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen
instead of Vashti.
17-3:1 After these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman
the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes that were with him.
17-5:11 And Haman told them of the glory of his riches, and
the multitude of his children, and all the things wherein the king had
promoted him, and how he had advanced him above
the princes and servants of the king.
18-3:4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.
18-18:16 His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
18-28:18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls:
for the price of wisdom is above rubies.
18-31:2 For what portion of God is there from above? and what inheritance of the Almighty
from on high?
18-31:28 This also were an iniquity to be punished by
the judge: for I should have denied the God that is above.
19-8:1 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in
all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the
heavens.
19-10:5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far
above out of his sight: as for all
his enemies, he puffeth at them.
19-18:16 He sent from above, he
took me, he drew me out of many waters.
19-18:48 He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou
liftest me up above those that rise up against
me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
19-27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore
will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing
praises unto the LORD.
19-45:7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness:
therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
19-50:4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
19-57:5 Be thou exalted, O God, above
the heavens; let thy glory be above
all the earth.
19-57:11 Be thou exalted, O God, above
the heavens: let thy glory be above
all the earth.
19-78:23 Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,
19-95:3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
19-96:4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be
praised: he is to be feared above
all gods.
19-97:9 For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.
19-99:2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high
above all the people.
19-103:11 For as the heaven is high above
the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
19-104:6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a
garment: the waters stood above the
mountains.
19-108:4 For thy mercy is great above
the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
19-108:5 Be thou exalted, O God, above
the heavens: and thy glory above all the
earth;
19-113:4 The LORD is high above
all nations, and his glory above the
heavens.
19-119:127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above
fine gold.
19-135:5 For I know that the LORD is great, and that our
Lord is above all gods.
19-136:6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for
ever.
19-137:6 If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the
roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above
my chief joy.
19-138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy
name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified
thy word above all thy name.
19-144:7 Send thine hand from above;
rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
19-148:4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be
above the heavens.
19-148:13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his
name alone is excellent; his glory is above
the earth and heaven.
20-8:28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
20-15:24 The way of life is above
to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.
20-31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far
above rubies.
21-2:7 I got me servants and maidens, and had servants
born in my house; also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me:
21-3:19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth
beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the
other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
23-2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the
mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains,
and shall be exalted above the hills; and all
nations shall flow unto it.
23-6:2 Above
it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered
his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
23-7:11 Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in
the depth, or in the height above.
23-14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into
heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars
of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides
of the north:
23-14:14 I will ascend above the
heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
23-45:8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above,
and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let
them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the
LORD have created it.
24-4:28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I
have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.
24-15:8 Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon
them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have
caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.
24-17:9 The heart is deceitful above
all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
24-31:37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched
out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have
done, saith the LORD.
24-35:4 And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into
the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was
by the chamber of the princes, which was above
the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:
24-52:32 And spake kindly unto him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with
him in Babylon,
25-1:13 From above hath he sent
fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net
for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint
all the day.
26-1:22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of
the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched
forth over their heads above.
26-1:26 And above the firmament
that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the
appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was
the likeness as the appearance of a man above
upon it.
26-10:1 Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over
them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a
throne.
26-10:19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted
up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were
beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the
LORD’S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
26-11:22 Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the
wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
26-16:43 Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy
youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also
will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and
thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all
thine abominations.
26-29:15 It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall
it exalt itself any more above the nations:
for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
26-31:5 Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were
multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when
he shot forth.
26-37:8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came
up upon them, and the skin covered them above:
but there was no breath in them.
26-41:17 To that above the door,
even unto the inner house, and without, and by all the wall round about within
and without, by measure.
26-41:20 From the ground unto above
the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of
the temple.
27-6:3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was
in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
27-11:5 And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of
his princes; and he shall be strong above him,
and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
27-11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he
shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above
every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall
prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is
determined shall be done.
27-11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor
the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
30-2:9 Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was
like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I
destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots
from beneath.
33-4:1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the
mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the
mountains, and it shall be exalted above the
hills; and people shall flow unto it.
34-3:16 Thou hast multiplied thy merchants above the stars of heaven: the cankerworm
spoileth, and fleeth away.
40-10:24 The disciple is not above
his master, nor the servant above his
