01-GENESIS
01-9:16 And
the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look
upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every
living creature of all flesh that is upon
the earth.
01-12:11 And
it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto
Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon:
01-13:14 And
the LORD said unto Abram, after that
01-15:5 And
he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now
toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said
unto him, So shall thy seed be.
01-19:17 And
it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape
for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay
thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
01-24:16 And
the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her:
and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
01-26:7 And
the men of the place asked him of his
wife; and he said, She is my sister:
for he feared to say, She is my wife;
lest, said he, the men of the place
should kill me for Rebekah; because she was
fair to look upon.
01-40:7 And
he asked Pharaoh’s officers that were with
him in the ward of his lord’s house, saying, Wherefore look
ye so sadly to day?
01-41:33 Now
therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet
and wise, and set him over the
01-42:1 Now
when Jacob saw that there was corn in
02-3:6 Moreover
he said, I am the God of thy father,
the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his
face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
02-5:21 And
they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and
judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh,
and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.
02-10:10 And
he said unto them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your
little ones: look to it; for evil is before
you.
02-25:20 And
the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings
on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one
to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
02-25:40 And
look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.
02-39:43 And
Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold,
they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses
blessed them.
03-13:3 And
the priest shall look on the plague in the skin
of the flesh: and when the hair in
the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.
03-13:5 And
the priest shall look on him the seventh day:
and, behold, if the plague in his
sight be at a stay, and the plague
spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:
03-13:6 And
the priest shall look on him again the seventh
day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce
him clean: it is but a scab: and he
shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
03-13:21 But
if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be
somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
03-13:25 Then
the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned
white, and it be in sight deeper than
the skin; it is a leprosy broken out
of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
03-13:26 But
if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright
spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
03-13:27 And
the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the
skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
03-13:31 And
if the priest look on the plague of the scall,
and, behold, it be not in sight
deeper than the skin, and that there is no
black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:
03-13:32 And
in the seventh day the priest shall look on the
plague: and, behold, if the scall
spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;
03-13:34 And
in the seventh day the priest shall look on the
scall: and, behold, if the scall be
not spread in the skin, nor be in
sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he
shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
03-13:36 Then
the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if
the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.
03-13:39 Then
the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their
flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is
clean.
03-13:43 Then
the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in
his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;
03-13:50 And
the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut
up it that hath the plague seven
days:
03-13:51 And
he shall look on the plague on the seventh day:
if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or
in a skin, or in any work that is
made of skin; the plague is a
fretting leprosy; it is unclean.
03-13:53 And
if the priest shall look, and, behold, the
plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in
any thing of skin;
03-13:55 And
the priest shall look on the plague, after that
it is washed: and, behold, if the
plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the
fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.
03-13:56 And
if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be somewhat dark after the washing of
it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the
warp, or out of the woof:
03-14:3 And
the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if
the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;
03-14:37 And
he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or
reddish, which in sight are lower than
the wall;
03-14:39 And
the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look:
and, behold, if the plague be spread
in the walls of the house;
03-14:44 Then
the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it
is a fretting leprosy in the house:
it is unclean.
03-14:48 And
if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague hath
not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall
pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.
04-15:39 And
it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look
upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that
ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a
whoring:
05-9:27 Remember
thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look
not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their
sin:
05-26:15 Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and
bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest
unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
05-28:32 Thy
sons and thy daughters shall be given
unto another people, and thine eyes shall look,
and fail with longing for them all
the day long: and there shall be no
might in thine hand.
07-7:17 And
he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise:
and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.
09-1:11 And
she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember
me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man
child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there
shall no razor come upon his head.
09-16:7 But
the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his
countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man
looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
09-16:12 And
he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy,
and withal of a beautiful
countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD
said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.
09-17:18 And
carry these ten cheeses unto the captain of their
thousand, and look how thy brethren fare,
and take their pledge.
10-9:8 And
he bowed himself, and said, What is thy
servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a
dead dog as I am?
10-11:2 And
it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and
walked upon the roof of the king’s house: and from the roof he saw a woman
washing herself; and the woman was very
beautiful to look upon.
10-16:12 It
may be that the LORD will look on mine
affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.
11-18:43 And
said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the
sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There
is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.
12-3:14 And
Elisha said, As the LORD of hosts
liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of
Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look
toward thee, nor see thee.
12-6:32 But
Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with him; and the king sent a man from before him: but ere the messenger came to him,
he said to the elders, See ye how this son of a murderer hath sent to take away
mine head? look, when the messenger cometh, shut
the door, and hold him fast at the door: is
not the sound of his master’s feet behind him?
12-9:2 And
when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu
the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from
among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;
12-10:3 Look even out the best and meetest of your master’s
sons, and set him on his father’s
throne, and fight for your master’s house.
12-10:23 And
Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal, and said
unto the worshippers of Baal, Search, and look
that there be here with you none of the servants of the LORD, but the worshippers
of Baal only.
12-14:8 Then
Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of
Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in
the face.
13-12:17 And
David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come
peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if ye be come to betray me to mine enemies,
seeing there is no wrong in mine
hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.
14-24:22 Thus
Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done
to him, but slew his son. And when he died, he said, The LORD look upon it, and
require it.
17-1:11 To
bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to shew the people
and the princes her beauty: for she was fair
to look on.
18-3:9 Let
the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look
for light, but have none; neither let
it see the dawning of the day:
18-6:28 Now
therefore be content, look upon me; for it is evident unto you if I lie.
18-20:21 There
shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no man look
for his goods.
18-35:5 Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou.
18-40:12 Look on every one that
is proud, and bring him low; and
tread down the wicked in their place.
19-5:3 My
voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
19-22:17 I
may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
19-25:18 Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all
my sins.
19-35:17 Lord,
how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from
their destructions, my darling from the lions.
19-40:12 For
innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon
me, so that I am not able to look up; they are
more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
19-80:14 Return,
we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from
heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
19-84:9 Behold,
O God our shield, and look upon the face of
thine anointed.
19-85:11 Truth
shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look
down from heaven.
19-101:5 Whoso
privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
19-119:132 Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou
usest to do unto those that love thy name.
19-123:2 Behold,
as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the
hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon
the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
20-4:25 Let
thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
20-6:17 A
proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed
innocent blood,
20-21:4 An
high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.
20-23:31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth
his colour in the cup, when it moveth
itself aright.
20-27:23 Be
thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.
21-12:3 In
the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow
themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,
22-1:6 Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children
were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.
22-4:8 Come
with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with
me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana,
from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions’ dens, from the mountains of
the leopards.
22-6:13 Return,
return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look
upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of two
armies.
23-5:30 And
in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look
unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow,
and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
23-8:17 And
I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I
will look for him.
23-8:21 And
they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to
pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse
their king and their God, and look upward.
23-8:22 And
they shall look unto the earth; and behold
trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.
23-14:16 They
that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did
shake kingdoms;
23-17:7 At
that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his
eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.
23-17:8 And
he shall not look to the altars, the work of his
hands, neither shall respect that which
his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images.
23-22:4 Therefore
said I, Look away from me: I will weep bitterly,
labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.
23-22:8 And
he discovered the covering of Judah, and thou didst look
in that day to the armour of the house of the forest.
23-31:1 Woe
to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in
chariots, because they are many; and
in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look
not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
23-33:20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine
eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall
ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
23-42:18 Hear,
ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
23-45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the
earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
23-51:1 Hearken
to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence
ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence
ye are digged.
23-51:2 Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone,
and blessed him, and increased him.
23-51:6 Lift
up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the
earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth
shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like
manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be
abolished.
23-56:11 Yea,
they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look
to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
23-59:11 We
roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look
for judgment, but there is none; for
salvation, but it is far off from us.
23-63:15 Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation
of thy holiness and of thy glory: where is
thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies
toward me? are they restrained?
23-66:2 For
all those things hath mine hand made,
and all those things have been, saith
the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to
him that is poor and of a contrite
spirit, and trembleth at my word.
23-66:24 And
they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases
of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die,
neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all
flesh.
24-13:16 Give
glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet
stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look
for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross
darkness.
24-39:12 Take
him, and look well to him, and do him no harm;
but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee.
24-40:4 And
now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me
into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto
thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear:
behold, all the land is before thee:
whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.
24-46:5 Wherefore
have I seen them dismayed and turned
away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look not back: for
fear was round about, saith the
LORD.
24-47:3 At
the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong horses, at the rushing of his chariots, and at the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers shall not look back to their
children for feebleness of hands;
25-3:50 Till
the LORD look down, and behold from heaven.
26-23:15 Girded
with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all
of them princes to look to, after the manner of
the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:
26-29:16 And
it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they
shall look after them: but they shall know that
I am the Lord GOD.
26-43:17 And
the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the
four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.
27-7:20 And
of the ten horns that were in his
head, and of the other which came up,
and before whom three fell; even of that
horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more
stout than his fellows.
28-3:1 Then
said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD
toward the children of Israel, who look to other
gods, and love flagons of wine.
32-2:4 Then
I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look
again toward thy holy temple.
33-4:11 Now
also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and
let our eye look upon Zion.
33-7:7 Therefore
I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the
God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
34-2:8 But
Nineveh is of old like a pool of
water: yet they shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look
back.
34-3:7 And
it shall come to pass, that all they
that look upon thee shall flee from thee, and
say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters
for thee?
35-1:13 Thou art of purer eyes than to behold
evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore
lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
35-2:15 Woe
unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look
on their nakedness!
38-12:10 And
I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the
spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look
upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth
for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in
bitterness for his firstborn.
40-11:3 And
said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look
for another?
41-8:25 After
that he put his hands again upon his
eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored,
and saw every man clearly.
42-7:19 And
John calling unto him two of his
disciples sent them to Jesus, saying,
Art thou he that should come? or look we for
another?
42-7:20 When
the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee,
saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we
for another?
42-9:38 And,
behold, a man of the company cried out, saying, Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son: for he is mine only child.
42-21:28 And
when these things begin to come to pass, then look
up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
43-4:35 Say
not ye, There are yet four months, and then
cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to
harvest.
43-7:52 They
answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.
43-19:37 And
again another scripture saith, They shall look
on him whom they pierced.
44-3:4 And
Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look
on us.
44-3:12 And
when Peter saw it, he answered unto
the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power
or holiness we had made this man to walk?
44-6:3 Wherefore,
brethren, look ye out among you seven men of
honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this
business.
44-18:15 But
if it be a question of words and names, and of
your law, look ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.
46-16:11 Let
no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come
unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
47-3:13 And
not as Moses, which put a vail over
his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
47-4:18 While
we look not at the things which are seen, but at
the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are
not seen are eternal.
47-10:7 Do
ye look on things after the outward appearance?
If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this
again, that, as he is Christ’s, even
so are we Christ’s.
50-2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man
also on the things of others.
50-3:20 For
our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look
for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
58-9:28 So
Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without
sin unto salvation.
60-1:12 Unto
whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister
the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the
gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the
angels desire to look into.
61-3:13 Nevertheless
we, according to his promise, look for new
heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
61-3:14 Wherefore,
beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be
diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
63-1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things
which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
66-4:3 And
he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a
sardine stone: and there was a
rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
66-5:3 And
no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the
book, neither to look thereon.
66-5:4 And
I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book,
neither to look thereon.

01-GENESIS
01-6:12 And
God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was
corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
01-8:13 And
it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and
Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked,
