24-1:5 Before2962 I formed3335 thee in the belly990 I knew3045 thee; and before2962 thou camest forth3318 out of the womb4480, 7358 I sanctified6942 thee, and I ordained5414 thee a prophet5030 unto the nations.1471
24-1:6 Then said559 I, Ah,162 Lord136 GOD!3069 behold,2009 I cannot3808, 3045 speak:1696 for3588 I595 am a child.5288
24-1:7 But the LORD3068 said559 unto413 me, Say559 not,408 I595 am a child:5288 for3588 thou shalt go1980 to5921 all3605 that834 I shall send7971 thee, and whatsoever3605, 834 I command6680 thee thou shalt speak.1696
24-1:8 Be not408 afraid3372 of their faces:4480, 6440 for3588 I589 am with854 thee to deliver5337 thee, saith5002 the LORD.3068
24-1:9 Then the LORD3068 put forth7971 (853) his hand,3027 and touched5060, 5921 my mouth.6310 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 me, Behold,2009 I have put5414 my words1697 in thy mouth.6310
24-1:10 See,7200 I have this2088 day3117 set6485 thee over5921 the nations1471 and over5921 the kingdoms,4467 to root out,5428 and to pull down,5422 and to destroy,6 and to throw down,2040 to build,1129 and to plant.5193
24-1:11 Moreover the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 me, saying,559 Jeremiah,3414 what4100 seest7200 thou?859 And I said,559 I589 see7200 a rod4731 of an almond tree.8247
24-1:12 Then said559 the LORD3068 unto413 me, Thou hast well3190 seen:7200 for3588 I589 will hasten8245, 5921 my word1697 to perform6213 it.
24-1:13 And the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 me the second time,8145 saying,559 What4100 seest7200 thou?859 And I said,559 I589 see7200 a seething5301 pot;5518 and the face6440 thereof is toward4480, 6440 the north.6828
24-1:14 Then the LORD3068 said559 unto413 me, Out of the north4480, 6828 an evil7451 shall break forth6605 upon5921 all3605 the inhabitants3427 of the land.776
24-1:15 For,3588 lo,2009 I will call7121 all3605 the families4940 of the kingdoms4467 of the north,6828 saith5002 the LORD;3068 and they shall come,935 and they shall set5414 every one376 his throne3678 at the entering6607 of the gates8179 of Jerusalem,3389 and against5921 all3605 the walls2346 thereof round about,5439 and against5921 all3605 the cities5892 of Judah.3063

24-2:2 Go1980 and cry7121 in the ears241 of Jerusalem,3389 saying,559 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD;3068 I remember2142 thee, the kindness2617 of thy youth,5271 the love160 of thine espousals,3623 when thou wentest1980 after310 me in the wilderness,4057 in a land776 that was not3808 sown.2232
24-2:3 Israel3478 was holiness6944 unto the LORD,3068 and the firstfruits7225 of his increase:8393 all3605 that devour398 him shall offend;816 evil7451 shall come935 upon413 them, saith5002 the LORD.3068

24-2:8 The priests3548 said559 not,3808 Where346 is the LORD?3068 and they that handle8610 the law8451 knew3045 me not:3808 the pastors7462 also transgressed6586 against me, and the prophets5030 prophesied5012 by Baal,1168 and walked1980 after310 things that do not3808 profit.3276
24-2:9 Wherefore3651 I will yet5750 plead7378 with854 you, saith5002 the LORD,3068 and with854 your children's1121 children1121 will I plead.7378
24-2:10 For3588 pass over5674 the isles339 of Chittim,3794 and see;7200 and send7971 unto Kedar,6938 and consider995 diligently,3966 and see7200 if there be1961 such2063 a thing.
24-2:11 Hath a nation1471 changed4171 their gods,430 which1992 are yet no3808 gods?430 but my people5971 have changed4171 their glory3519 for that which doth not3808 profit.3276
24-2:12 Be astonished,8074 O ye heavens,8064 at5921 this,2063 and be horribly afraid,8175 be ye very3966 desolate,2717 saith5002 the LORD.3068

24-3:8 And I saw,7200 when3588 for5921 all3605 the causes182 whereby834 backsliding4878 Israel3478 committed adultery5003 I had put her away,7971 and given5414, 413 her (853) a bill5612 of divorce;3748 yet her treacherous898 sister269 Judah3063 feared3372 not,3808 but went1980 and played the harlot2181 also.1571
24-3:9 And it came to pass1961 through the lightness4480, 6963 of her whoredom,2184 that she defiled2610 (853) the land,776 and committed adultery5003 with854 stones68 and with854 stocks.6086
24-3:10 And yet1571 for all3605 this2063 her treacherous901 sister269 Judah3063 hath not3808 turned7725 unto413 me with her whole3605 heart,3820 but3588, 518 feignedly,8267 saith5002 the LORD.3068
